Home Remedies for Ingrown Toenail / How to Remove an Ingrown Toenail - Duration: 2:02.

An ingrown toenail is when the sharp edge of a toenail grows into the skin folds at

its edge, which results in pain.

Removing an ingrown toenail is a must so that the foot, which houses the nail does not become

infected or leads to complications.

Many home remedies for ingrown toenail problems, were used by our grandparents and handed down

to our parents.

They were pretty successful in treating different foot problems, including an ingrown toenail.

Some of these home remedies include:

1.

Epsom Salt Soak.

Trim the ingrown toenail toe so that it is flush with the front end of your toe.

Soak your foot for about 30 minutes in warm water that has been mixed with Epsom salt.

Epson salt draws down the inflammation so that the nail can heal and grow out easily.

2.

The Listerine Soak.

Soak the ingrown toenail in Listerine and water.

Then file down the top center of the toenail until it is thinner.

Listerine's active ingredients include thymol, eucalyptol, methyl salicilate, and menthol,

all of which will draw out infections for healing.

The toenail that is ingrown will slowly grow out normally.

3.

The Betadine and Tiger Balm Method.

Apply a Betadine solution to the ingrown toe, apply white tiger balm around the ingrown

area, then put a plaster around it.

Use this method twice a day for a couple of weeks and the ingrown nail will slowly grow

out.

Betadine is helpful for its antiseptic ingredients, while the Tiger Balm ingredients will draw

out the infection of the ingrown nail that is causing pain and discomfort.

4.

Epsom or Hydrogen Peroxide Solution.

Soak your foot in warm water, then carefully trim the nail on the ingrown side to remove

the inflamed portion.

Soak the foot again in Epsom salt and water, dry the foot, then use a cotton swab tip and

hydrogen peroxide for additional sterilization.

Are You A Good Wife? | The Indian Guide - Duration: 4:10.

So recently, I came across an old guide

on 'How To Be A Good Wife'

Most of the things mentioned here

are batshit crazy.

For example

'Don't question your husband, you have no right to question him'

'Never complain if he comes home late or goes out for dinner without you'

'A good wife always knows her place'

Clearly whoever wrote this

did not find a wife later.

But some things also made sense

For example

'Greet him with a smile'

'Listen to him'

'Keep the house neat'

which basically doesn't make you a good wife, it makes you

Human.

But my problem is

Why do you care?

If I am a good wife or not?

I believe that I am a really good wife

and I try my best everyday.

But if Indra Nooyi herself has said that, Women cannot have it all

then what chance do you and I have?

But a wife must try

and most of the times, I keep my husband happy

and my experience says that all of this is just

Superficial Bullshit.

So today I am going to give you the Real 2017 Guide

on 'How To Be A Good Wife'

Let's begin.

If you want to be a good wife

Be selfish.

Now, before you call me batshit crazy

hear me out.

The foundation of any relationship is happiness.

And I am sure you want to keep your husband happy

But as your last flight attendant has rightly said

'Before you assist others, put on your oxygen mask first'

You can look good, cook, clean, earn, take care of your kids

but if you do not have any happiness inside you

how can you share any with your husband?

But before I tell you exactly how to be selfishly happy

let me address the other gender watching this video.

Men, let me tell you a well known secret.

Your wife has faced a lot of flak all her life

She has been told to look a certain way,

behave a certain way,

she was paid less inspite of being smarter,

her promotion got delayed because she was pregnant,

she is leered at even when she is fully dressed

and she can't even walk on the road alone

in broad daylight, without being horned at by

horny autowalas, bikers, lorries,

she distorted her entire body, for a baby

possibly when she was not even ready.

And everybody tells her what to do

Her brother, her parents, your parents

random people off the street,

Politicians,

Sharma aunty

And the only person she can turn to for support

is YOU.

So if you want a good wife, be a good husband.

Support her dreams, respect her decisions

be on her side, let her for once

be in control of her own life.

And ladies, while your husbands think over that, as promised

Here is the new 2017 Guide on 'How To Be A Good Wife'

1. Have an Active Social Life

friends that you can hang out with.

Because not only will it control your stress levels

but venting out your frustration to someone you trust

will keep you mentally healthy.

2. Invest in Yourself

Join that class, pay for that certification,

invest in that expensive sports bra or a pair of good shoes.

Don't think twice before investing in something that will help you grow.

3. Prioritise Your Health

The only person responsible for your health is you.

So prioritise your workouts, prepare a healthy meal for yourself

even if your husband and kids are not around.

Take care of your body, everything else in life is replaceable.

And that's it. That's all it takes to be a good wife.

And yes, it does sound selfish

but to be selflessly in love with your husband

you first need to be selfishly in love with yourself.

Why analgue recordings have their limits too - Duration: 11:19.

There is a lot to do about MQA re-releases

that have limited bandwidth despite the high sampling rate.

This might have to do with the properties of analogue recorders, as I mentioned in my

video "Why some MQA 192 kHz files stop at 20 kHz".

So let's look at some analogue tape recorder properties for better understanding.

Almost all analogue recordings made since the second world war are made on tape recorders.

They work by magnetising a magnetic pattern on a 'plastic' tape covered with ferro oxide -

in essence a sophisticated form of iron rust.

Without going into detail too much, I would like to explain those artefacts that are typical

of analogue tape recorders.

Let's start with the recording.

The tape is first pulled along a very simple erase head, in essence an electromagnet that

is fed with a high frequency signal.

This shakes up the magnetic fields that might already be on the tape in a random way,

so erasing the tape.

Then it passes the record head.

This also is an electromagnet but far more delicate.

This head creates a magnetic field analogous to the electric signal that presents the audio signal.

This varying magnetic field creates a variant magnetic field in the iron oxide on the tape.

Unfortunately the magnetic field radiated by the head is wider at low frequencies.

Therefore the track on the tape will be wider for low frequencies.

Later, tape heads got poles in the shape of a butterfly to reduce this effect but these

butterfly heads were not fitted on all tape recorders for they were only suited for stereo

recording while for instance time code - for use with video - was not possible.

The Butterfly heads had another advantage: they could write wider tracks without compromising

channel separation too much.

General purpose tape recorders use 2 mm tracks on a 6.3 mm tape.

On this machine the two tracks can each contain a separate mono program.

The tape recorder with 'stereo heads' uses a track width of 2.4 mm,

mainly at the expense of the space between the tracks and Cthus the channel separation.

Since the channel separation is of less importance for stereo material, this works fine.

As an extra bonus the track width offers about 1.6 dB extra signal to noise.

The butterfly heads write even wider tracks: 2.7 mm, adding another dB to the signal to

noise while the special head shape does prevent channel separation to degrade too much.

There is another problem with tape heads, called head bump.

I already mentioned that low frequencies cause a wider magnetic field.

This is not only perpendicular to the tape but also in the direction the tape moves.

That can cause a nasty resonance in the lows that depends on the tape speed.

In general the head design is made so that the resonance occurs between 40 and 50 Hz

at the preferred tape speed.

Since we talk professional tape recorders here, the preferred speed will often be 38

centimetres per second, 15 inches per second in the Queen's measure.

Tape speed can be chosen higher and lower with a factor two.

This will also change the head bump up or down with a factor 2.

There were artists that liked recording at 76 centimetre per second, 30 ips.

That would also shifts the bandwidth with a factor of 2, meaning that in theory a bandwidth

of 30 to 22.000 Hz would become 60 to 44,000.

Often the the playback head and the electronics limited the high end but more important the

head bmp would go from -say - 45 Hz to 90 Hz.

That bump could easily amplify the resonance frequency with 5 dB's on poorer performing

machines and still be 2 dB's in first class machines.

Since it is a resonance, the phase response is poor too.

That is why by nature analogue tape recordings can never sound as solid in the lows as digital recordings.

This makes it also interesting to see what MQA can solve here.

There is another reason why digital recordings will sound deeper and better controlled in the lows.

The playback head of an analogue tape recorder is almost the same as the recording head,

only the head gap is smaller since it need not to output magnetic force but rather read it.

Given the way the magnetic registration works, the output of the head doubles each octave

up.

Since we want an output that has an equal output for each frequency, an inverse filter is applied.

Here tape recorder manufacturers have to decide what compromise to make between the lowest

frequency and the signal to noise ratio.

If the filter is applied at 40 Hz, 20 Hz will be 6 dB's down but the signal to noise will

be 6 dB's better than when 20 Hz is chosen, as you can see in this graph.

Do realise that about 60 dB signal to noise was common on tape recorders

if you want clean recordings.

Pop and rock could be modulated higher since - in contrast to digital recorders - analogue

recorders have a very pleasant way of distorting when driven hard.

But Pop and rock didn't need the dynamic range and even it it did, about 70 dB would be the limit.

So choosing 20 Hz as filter frequency at the expense of 6 dB signal to noise was a bad

choice since no speakers then and only a limited number of speakers today would be able to

reproduce below 40 Hz.

As soon as half the wavelength of the signal on the tape reaches the gap width of the

playback head, the output will rapidly drop.

It might be clear that optimally the gap of the playback head is chosen so that the 20

kHz bandwidth defined by the DIN institute as upper frequency for hifi could easily be

played at the highest tape speed on the machine.

The better studio machines I have measured over time often got slightly over 20 kHz.

This means that when you digitise a tape at a higher sampling rate, you will still see

a rapid dropping of the output above 20 to 22 kHz.

Tape recorders can sound amazing, impressive and emerging because of qualities that were

and perhaps are still hard to achieve on digital media at 44.1 or 48 kHz.

Not for the limiting frequency range since a tape recorder doesn't do a better job.

But for the reasons I mention in my video "The truth about Nyquist and why 192 kHz does make sense."

In short: we are not able to band limit a signal to 20 kHz - as needed for 44,1 kHz sampling -

without causing severe time smearing that is most noticeable is the mid range,

something an analogue tape recorder does a good job in.

Tape recorders can't produce ultra deep lows and have a limited signal to noise ratio.

There also can be a heap of other problems like modulation noise - that's noise that

varies with the signal -, wow & flutter and all kinds of mismatching due to standards.

As with all analogue storage and transmission equipment,

the signal is 'shaped' to fit inside the medium.

In almost all cases the high frequencies are boosted prior to the medium to be attenuated

with the same amount when playing out the signal.

This also reduces the noise the medium had added and is therefore sometimes called passive noise reduction.

For tape recorders this principle is also used.

Unfortunately there are both consumer and pro standards and and of each

there is a European and a US version. In Europe we have the IEC setting the norm,

for the professional part driven by the European Broadcasting Union, the EBU.

I forgot who was responsible for the consumer standards in The States, but the professional

standards were set by the North American Broadcasters, the NAB.

A tape recorded with the IEC equalisation will not sound correct when played back on

a machine using NAB eq's and vice versa.

Playing back a tape with the correct EQ but the wrong tape head - say a tape with 2 mm tracks

played back on a machine with 2.7 mmpoles - will produce a faulty frequency curve in the lows.

Then there are tapes at several tape speeds, types of spools, wound tails-out or not and so on.

The tails out is yet another nice Granddad story.

If you load a reel of tape tape by putting it on the left teller to be wound on to the

right spool, you make your recording, spool the tape back on the left real and store it,

chances are that after a few years you will hear a faint echo in front of the music

- indeed a pre-echo.

This was caused by the transfer of magnetic load from one layer on the tape to the next.

It was a real problem until someone found out that when you didn't spool back the

tape after recording but stored it on the right spool - so with the tail out -

the print through would be after the original and thushard to hear

and when heard more natural than a pre-echo.

Didn't we have pre-echo's with digital as well?

Yes, but they are not audible as separate echoes.

I hope you found this interesting.

Please let me know either way so I can anticipate on what to discuss in my next Patreon Special video.

For I do appreciate your support immensely and really want to give you some extras.

Again, I hope you have enjoyed it and I hope you will enjoy listening to music even more.

See you in the next video.

Robin Van Persie refuses to talk to ex-Arsenal team-mate a YEAR after bitter on-pitch feud - Duration: 2:40.

Robin Van Persie refuses to talk to ex-Arsenal team-mate a YEAR after bitter on-pitch feud

Van Persie, who joined Fenerbahce in 2015, played alongside Ozyakup during for four years during his eight-season stay in north London.

The pair were said to be good friends, with Van Persie acting as mentor to Ozyakup while the talented midfielder made his way through the Gunners' academy system.

But, having found themselves on opposing sides of the notoriously fiery Istanbul derby last year, their friendship disintegrated before the eyes of the world. Robin Van Persie and Oguzhan Ozyakup still refuse to talk after their bitter feud.

Besiktas star Ozyakup was seen arguing with the Dutchman during their Turkish Cup quarter-final showdown last season, as they shoved each other under the eyes of the referee.

Minutes later, Van Persie would score the decisive goal to give Fenerbahce a 1-0 win, celebrating in the most provocative manner.

He fired the ball home from six yards out before looking around the pitch for his former friend, launching a knee-slide right at his feet. I was very good friends with a certain player on the field.

That changed today," Ozyakup said after the game. Van Persie celebrates scoring the winner against Besiktas last season.

Sometimes you see the real face of a footballer on the field. And a year on, the 25-year-old revealed nothing has changed. He explained: "We still do not talk, usually players make up after games but this was different.

Maybe we will make up one day but it will not be the same as before. I do not really want to talk about this to be honest.

I do not think I was in the wrong, if anything I was wrong to show Robin as much respect as I did.".

Gareth Bale injured: Ben Woodburn can replace Real Madrid star - David Edwards - Duration: 3:57.

Gareth Bale injured: Ben Woodburn can replace Real Madrid star - David Edwards

Liverpool star Ben Woodburn could replace Gareth Bale, according to Wales ace David Edwards. Team-mate David Edwards believes the 17-year-old Liverpool starlet is ready to start Friday's crunch World Cup qualifier with Georgia, even if it comes at his own expense.

Real Madrid ace Bale won't face Georgia or the Republic of Ireland after being ruled out with a calf problem which is set to sideline him for up to a month.

It means boss Chris Coleman faces a major selection headache over how to replace one of the world's best players. Edwards is the likely option to step in to Bale's boots having done it in the past.

But the Reading midfielder believes it wouldn't faze Woodburn in the slightest if he is asked to take centre stage for his country. "I've no doubt Ben would step up to the plate and deliver a performance," said Edwards.

"He reminds me of Gareth when he was younger. He seems to relish the big stage and that's when you see the best of him.

"If you see what Gareth was like in the Euros, the bigger the stage, the more he thrives. "There aren't many players who can do that when the whole world is watching.

"But from what I've seen I'm pretty sure Ben is cut from the same cloth and he will relish the chance to show everyone he is the real deal." Woodburn scored a stunning winner in the 1-0 victory over Austria last month, five minutes after coming on as a substitute.

He followed that by setting up Hal Robson-Kanu for a crucial goal against Moldova. Wales must win their remaining two games to stand any chance of grabbing a play-off spot as one of the top eight ranked runners-up.

"It's a lot different starting a game, but Ben has definitely got the ability to do it," said Edwards who flew with the rest of the squad to Tbilisi yesterday ahead of Friday's game.

"A lot of players see the big stage and go into their shell and play safe. Gareth's never like that and I'm sure Ben is of the same mould.

"He can handle the ball in tight areas. You saw a few times in the Moldova game that even though he's quite small, he can hold off players so he's happy receiving the ball anywhere on the pitch.

"And once he gets on the turn and opens his legs up, he's electric.

"He's been a game-changer in the last two games and I wouldn't like to be the manager thinking about what to do." Were Woodburn to get the nod, Edwards would have to settle for a place on the bench.

But he said: "I'd happily sacrifice not getting two caps in the next couple of games if we can qualify for the World Cup.

"If you talk to any manager I've ever played for, I'll always put the team ahead of myself. I want the team to function as its best and that's obviously with the best players playing.".

High Difficulty Train Simulator 2017 - Hamburg to Lübeck: Part 1 Challenge - Duration: 22:36.

Hello everyone and welcome to train simulator 2017 challenge video. In this

video we will continue to drive double deck regular Express passenger train

under route Hamburg to Lumbergh part 1. But this one is a hard mode. So were done

two challenge that is easy mode now it's the time that we play a hard mode

challenges. So we will start with the message that we need to allow passengers

to board here at Hamburg Hauptbahnhof ( hbf ) which means main train station. Now let I put

the train in so he can go forward turn on the lights the wipers and the lights

of the instruments. Now also the message said that one train just left a Hamburg

and that we need to keep our eye on signals. When we are waiting to a

passenger ...wow ou ou mama... till all passenger board the rest of the video

will be speed up about 160 percent so we will watch a speedy hard mode challenge.

So nice the door is closed let's put our power level, our throttle wheel on five

and let's start. Now the problem that I find I mean, I find it's hard to use a

train brake in this train so I will use my keyboard to break with the train. Now

from the start our max speed is 40 kilometer per hours and after our first

signal we can then drive 60 kilometers per hour.

So in this challenge, I will use a HUD driving HUD just to to to make sure

that I'm not using my train brake too hard and that I'm not speeding. Because

we are playing a hard mode right now and I don't have that feeling for the

passengers and also to check that we come on all station on time.

Now we pass our first signal now after we get underneath this bridge we can now

speed up to 60 kilometer per hours but make sure that all the time you watch

your speed limiter. Now this signal is telling us that we need to drive the

middle speed and the second signal is telling us that next signal next

distance signal is else on a green. Now soon we will speed up to 100 kilometer

per hours, signal is right over there yeah the number 10 means our next speed,

is our next maximum speed is 100 kilometer per hours. Now also I'm

checking how I'm speeding up that I am NOT

I'm not speeding too fast for the passenger, because later you will see how

this a little tiny dot goes to the yellow just need to focus that doesn't

go in red because then I will start losing the points. Now this route that we

are now driving is pretty simple it's all on green but we are soon coming

to the point where we need to lower our speed to 50 kilometer per hours. Look

that. Did you see? It just car passed through the Train. What'a hell.

There is a lot of bug in this game. Did I find and, see. So we are soon approaching the

switchers where we need to lower our speed on to 50 kilometer per hours and we

are almost there.

This is a little bit tricky part and, I like this like and they a little bit

complicated stuff in the game. So here I will change the angle of the camera so

you can see it after we pass the last switcher.

There is no more like 50 kilometer per hours you can now speed up on 120

kilometer per hours and from this point you wanna keep your train on maximum

speed if it says, if it said 120 kilometer per hours you go hundred and

twenty kilometer per hour.

So here is number 16 which means our next maximum speed is 160 kilometers

per hour.

Now I'm following how I'm speeding up and turning my trottent wheel so I don't

go with my dot in red.

When you watch the timer it says 17:44 we, need pass our first station. Then you will

get full 200 points. If you pass your transition in 17:45 definitely you will

not get full points.

Now from now, we will need to be more careful and watch our signals.

We need to apply the brake and elso we need to follow our dot so he don't go in

red. Because if it go in red will start losing the points. I cannot tell

you how much I have made a mistake on this thing with this break with the

braking. it's just amazing. Unbelievable. Now our signal turn to green and again

our distance signal is telling us that next signal is also on red. So I'm trying

to see where is the signal and try to apply brake and lower my speed as much

as possible so if I need to stop in front of the signal so I can stop.

Because we are soon approaching the station that we need to allowing our

passenger to board. Now we didn't need to stop in front of our signal return just

in red which is pretty good ( mean green ).

Now in a distance I see again that some distant signal showing me again that

some of the signals is on red.

or he turns in green right away. So soon we are approaching in our first station.

Look at that graphic. look at this. what about this weather you can see how the

rain is falling. I believe that round is snow. The winter

time. So good.

Now soon I will need to put my trottent wheel on zero because I need to lower my

speed to 120 kilometer per hours. or I already lowerd

Good.

Now my distance signal is telling me that my main signal is on red. So it

means that I need to stop. So right away I need to put my trottent

wheel on zero and start applying the brake and now I'm trying to see my main

signal in this right edge of my window.

So we need to be in the station in 53 and now it's 51. Oh good it's green nice. Now

we know that my main signal is on green So we can enter the station now. In this

point I was thinking oh my god my next signal isn't green, on green I mean on

red so I need to start applying the brake so we start applying a break and I

realize oh my god I'm still not in station. So let's give our train a little

speed until the approach close to passenger platform then we can use the

brake to stop.

And also every time when I will use my the break I will turn my driving HUD to

just make sure that my dot don't go in red. Because we are playing once more a

hard mode so let's apply a little bit more our break and we and make sure you

left your train brake on. Don't release it because when you open the

door if you release the brake your train will

go in whatever direction and the mission will be over.

So all passenger are in our signal is green and we can start our journey to

next stations. So our speed here is hundred and twenty kilometer per hours.

Now also like when I'm looking this two part the part where you need pass one

station and stop in another station to pick passenger and repeat this. When you

are going to station that you need to pass almost all signal are on green so

when you play this route make sure that you do it that you go with full speed.

So all the signal is on a green like I said.

I'm just making sure that I, did my dot is on green.

Pretty nice and the problem here is that this train doesn't show you on this

speed limiter that we have in a lock in our lock cabinet doesn't show 160

kilometers. This is like a problem, you know. And when I'm going 160 kilometers

I need to open my driving HUD to see how much I am driving so I don't pass these 160

kilometers and I go and lose a points because of that. So yeah and right now

showing the time. That I believe 58 we need to pass our next station.

Which I will pass in time. I was little bit here worry will I

do it on time or not.

Because this route is definitely not easy.

And now we have one more station that we that is a final one.

Now our speed is 160 km/h and from this point we want to be careful because we

are going in a station we were where we will pick up the passenger and we need

to keep in our mind that the train is still in front of us. Now in distance I

see that couple one signal isn't green and the next one in front of him is on

yellow that's telling me oh I need to put my trottent wheel on zero and a

little bit use the brake.

So we are passing another station or whatever it is

and I'm right now looking at time because I'm worried should I get in the

station on time or not. Adding a speed looking in distance. On green. Lowering

my trottent wheel putting on zero and

start here applying the brake because soon I will need to lower my speed from

160 on to 120 kilometer per hours and right away I see the signal in the

distance that is on yellow the telling me that in front of in front of the

signal the main signal is on on red and I need to stop so I'm using my brake as

much as possible and you can see how the dot going up and down up and down and

you know and I just I'm just begging so he don't go in red just unbelievable and

the signal turn from the red to green and soon we are in our final destination

where I can say that

that I finished my challenge with thousand points which is unbelievable

for me because to try to to get 2,000 points it took me almost three hours of

playing just this route to to to master and to make it happen

so right now I'm applying a break so gently stop close to the signal and we

are on 20 kilometer prowlers 15 10 5 and 0 and I believe that we did it again

which I am pretty excited and really really really happy of course let a

little past your board and there we go a message good work we complete without

any issue with our score of thousand points so guys that was all for me from

this challenge live in a comment what do you think about this challenge
