Hey Crash, today we're going to be looking into the most shocking body modification options

out there.

More specifically, if you're unaware of what that is; we're going to be counting

down the bizarre, and sometimes disturbing physical alterations that humans choose to

make to their bodies.

YOU MEAN WE CAN ALTER OUR HUMAN FORM?!

LIKE GIVE OURSELVES WINGS?

OR GIVE OURSELVES A MUSCUAR PYSICHE?

Not that I would need that of course, ladies.

OR, OR TAKE OUT THE UNECESSARY BOTTOM FEW RIBS SO WE HAVE MORE FLEXIBILITY DOWNWARDS?!

Don't you worry buddy hehehehe Or by "body modification", do you just

mean like, tattoos and piercings and stuff?

Well, yeah.

But taken to much more extreme levels.

"Body modification" is a term that almost sounds futuristic and sci-fi like, but in

reality it is simply a deliberate altering of your anatomy or physical appearance.

Why people are willing to get these "body mods," as we will continue to call them,

can be for aesthetics, sexual enhancement, rites of passage, religious beliefs, to show

involvement as part of a group, to create body art or simply for shock value.

You know what?

I think this sounds like something I could get into.

So, what counts as body mods?

Well, the first thought, other than the obvious robo-cop or cyborg references, would be exactly

as you said: tattoos, piercings and even plastic surgery.

However even a simple haircut goes under the term "body mod" - bodybuilding too for

that matter.

Body mods tend to be considered a "new" fad, but some are much older than you might

think so here are some quick history facts:

The oldest tattoo documentation is from 10.000 BCE.

The body mods you are about to see were judged based on:

Their drastic deviation from what society considers "mainstream."

Their procedure being more extensive than mainstream body modifications

Their sheer jaw-dropping, gut churning shock factor.

10 – Skin-stretching This was seen first by explorers among the

tribe-members in Africa, South America and Southern Asia, whereby certain tribe-members

had a clay or wooden disc placed between their top or bottom lip.

As the incision expands, the plate is replaced by a bigger one – repeatedly.

Customs vary from tribe to tribe as to when the plate is inserted and how big it must

be.

Out-dated sources once believed the lip-plated women of the Mozambiqian, Tanzanian and Ethiopian

tribes were displaying their socio-economic position in the tribe.

body mods.

With this particular body mod, there are no serious health risks other than permanently

stretching tissue, provided of course that you follow hygiene guidelines.

9 – Transdermal implants As the name implies, this body mod involves

a piercing where half of it is implanted under the skin in the sub-dermal layer and then

protrudes through the skin where the decorative part is attached.

This is most commonly seen in the form of spikey Mohawks or "devil's horns".

Unfortunately.

The reason for this is, once again, aesthetics: for the "devilish look" and for performance

art.

You can google: "Samppa von Cyborg" to see a good example of this.

Because these body mods leave a small opening down to the sub-dermal layer of your skin,

which, by the way, is very rarely exposed unless you have had serious cuts, these small

openings can lead to deep skin tissue damage if not kept clean.

8 – Subdermal implants Similar to transdermal implants, subdermal

implants involve a surgical incision in the deeper layer of the skin, creating a "pocket"

where the implant, known as a dermal elevator, is placed and then closed up.

The reasons for this modification are similar to the previous item on this list, but also

sexual enhancement is sometimes involved as subdermal genitalia implants can give a more

stimulating experience during intercourse.

Side note: Klara Jirkova, a student at the Berlin University of the Arts, raised the

possibility of using subdermal implants to create "Braille tattoos" readable by the blind.

Scarification is the art of inflicting decorative cuts and injuries as an alternative to tattooing,

where the scar tissue is the "ink."

You heard correctly: What some people spend a fortune on and plastic surgeons specialize

in reducing, scarification enthusiasts spend money to accentuate.

The ways scarification can be done is by, for example, branding with a hot piece of

metal, cutting with scalpels or lasers, skin removal or packing – which is more a procedure

used in an African tribes which creates elevated scar tissue or hypertrophic scars.

But all in all, the methods vary.

Scarification is not a new thing though, as Sudanese and Ethiopian tribe-girls get scarifications

on their cheeks and body without anesthetics – to symbolize their ability to handle childbirth.

The modern approach to scarification is for more decorative purpose and an alternative

control of technological advancement, since they believe there will be a limit to the

evolution of humanity and the "post-human" would be DIY-cyborgs.

You can risk a lot by implanting various types of electronics into your body that are not

poison by battery failure or metal corrosion being just a few of them.

4 Unusual Disney Book Recommendations - Duration: 5:56.

I love Disney books.

Normally when people suggest Disney books you end up hearing about stuff like Walt's

biography or some of the Disney published books on rides like the Haunted Mansion.

On the fiction end the go to people keep bringing up is Kingdom Keepers.

However today I want to talk about a few of my suggestions that fall outside of what I

would think are typically recommendations.

So let's get started!

My first two suggestions are actually fiction books, which I typically don't cover here.

That said, I put them here because they're either interesting ways to look at the parks,

or just plain fun to read.

First up is Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom by Cory Doctorow.

Now before I say anything else, let me start by saying that while this novel does take

place in The Magic Kingdom and it does have to do with Disney World, it's not what I'd

call a book for kids.

It does include some more mature content and themes.

That said, it's a really fascinating sci-fi novel with a very bizarre premise that I think

would appeal to many Disney fans.

Down and Out takes place in a futuristic world in which death is no longer a concern for

society and citizens, not having to work anymore for a living, volunteer to keep busy.

In this society the Magic Kingdom is staffed entirely by volunteer Disney fans, and rather

than operating as one company, each land is run by a different team.

Conflict arises when one team wants to step in on Liberty Square and make some drastic

changes to the Haunted Mansion.

It's not brilliant writing, but enjoyed that it touched upon the concepts of finding

purpose beyond basic needs and the value of preserving another person's work versus

updating it.

I enjoyed it even more having that done while set to the context of Disney World.

This next one isn't a book, but a comic book.

The Enchanted Tiki Room, is the latest series in the Disney Kingdoms family, which focused

on stories based on Disney attractions and ideas.

It takes place on a tropical island and follows not only Jose, Michael, Pierre and Fritz,

but also a number of very interesting guests visiting the island, all dealing with their

own problems.

Out of all of the Disney Kingdom comics, this one made the list because it is hilarious.

It's a dry humor, but it's one of the only times I've literally laughed out loud

while reading a comic book.

The best part is that it strikes this perfect balance of entertainment for younger readers

and more subtle humor for adults, similar to a good kids film.

This one is going to sound weird to those who understand it's immediate flaws, but

Work in Progress, Michael Eisner's autobiography.

Now I get it, trust me.

In terms of reading about the history of the company, the word of a both loved and hated

CEO is pretty worthless.

It's about as biased as you can get.

As a source of information on some of Disney's more controversial happenings, this book is terrible.

That said I found it to be a rewarding read because it offers something rather than being informed

about the history of the company during his time there. Instead it shows his

perspective during that history.

In other words, when it comes to more messy events like Jeffrey Katzenberg leaving Disney,

I don't believe what Michael Eisner has to say in the book, but I do believe that

he believes what he's saying, and it goes a long way it offering insight to him as a person.

Beyond just that it covers his career before Disney, and I think it's an interesting

look into what kind of person it takes to run a company as large and complex as Disney.

So while I'd highly recommend you offset this book with a more objective historical

look back such as Disney War, I think think it's worth reading anyway.

Last up is perhaps the biggest stretch, and it's Tomorrow-Land by Joseph Tirella.

I say it's a stretch because while it does contain mention of Disney and Walt specifically,

this book by and large has nothing to do with Disney as a company or Walt as a person, yet

I still find it to be an important read to understand both.

Tomorrow-Land is almost two books in one.

It follows both the development and operation of the 1964-1965 New York World's Fair in

Queens, and it also covers the many different ways in which American culture has changed

over those years leading up to and following the fair.

Since it covers the fair itself and since Disney developed four attractions for the

fair, there is some mention of his involvement and the pavilions themselves, but I can't

stress how minor it is in this book.

Collectively it's maybe a chapters worth.

So why am I suggesting it?

Well, we live in a different world from the one Walt lived and worked in.

Those old enough to remember themselves won't need this book, but at 30 years old I can

only imagine what life was like in the 60's.

Some like to pretend they were the good old days, but the truth is they really weren't

for a great number of people, including minorities, women, men being drafted into the military,

and overall the whole country who had to deal with the escalation of the cold war and the

rise of crime in cities.

Reading this book helped me put into perspective what would drive Walt to try and develop a

utopian city like EPCOT or maintain idealistic retreats like Disneyland.

Similar to Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom, this book obviously deals with some heavy

subjects so to the parents out there I would leave it up to you to decide whether or not

your young readers should check this out.

I honestly picked up this book hoping a good portion of it would be about Walt's World

Fair rides.

I was wrong, but I was ultimately glad for it because what I did get was rewarding to read.

So there you have it!

iPhone 8 Plus Unboxing & Initial Impressions - Duration: 5:37.

Hey guys its Sagar from Tecworkz.

And in this video, I will be unboxing the iPhone 8 Plus, and give you my initial impressions

about it.

I am definitely going to get the iPhone 10, whenever it goes on sale in India, but that

might take some time, so I decided to give the 8 Plus a try as well.

This time, I went with the gold phone, since its a new colour, and I really liked the way

it looked, in all of the promotional videos, I have seen so far.

The size of the box, is similar to that of the iPhone 7 Plus.

But the colour of the box, matches to the back of the phone that you go for.

Getting straight to the unboxing.

Just like with the 7 and 7 Plus, you are no longer greeted by the phone as you open the

box.

Instead, you get a sleeve, holding this welcome to iPhone leaflet, SIM tray removal tool,

some regulatory information, and the apple stickers.

We then have the 8 Plus, sitting in all its glory.

I love how this new colour looks.

its not the regular gold colour, that was introduced with the iPhone 5S, and its not

exactly rose gold or pink, its somewhere in between.

But for now, lets keep the phone aside and look at the other things in the box.

There is a normal 5 volt 1 ampere wall charger.

This phone supports fast charging, it costs 73,000Rs, but a fast charger is not bundled

in the box.

I don't think, this is the way it should be.

Anyways, moving on, You get the wired EarPods with a lightning pin connecter, and a lightning

to 3.5mm headphone jack adaptor, if you want to use your own set of headphones.

Then there is a lightning cable for charging and data transfer.

Now lets put these things aside, and take a better look at the phone.

Other than a new colour and a glass back, the design is mostly similar to that of the

iPhone 7 Plus.

This might be a good or bad thing, depending on wether you like that design or not.

On the left side of the phone, you have the silent switch, and the volume buttons.

On the right is the Power button and a SIM card tray.

At the bottom is the Lightning connector, speaker grill and no headphone jack.

Earpiece speaker above the display, works as a front firing speaker, to give you stereo

sound while consuming media.

We had this feature on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, but this time it is 25% louder.

Thankfully, we still have a home button below the display, and a fingerprint sensor under

it.

Back of the phone is now all glass, instead of an all metal unibody design.

Apple says, its the toughest glass on any smartphone, but it is glass, and it will break,

if it falls down from a big enough height.

This makes the phone a bit heavy, as now its an aluminium frame, sandwiched by 2 glass

slabs.

The Apple logo, iPhone text and the quad LED flash are all flushed under the glass back.

The dual cameras at the back might look the same, but the sensors inside are updated.

You still get Dual 12 megapixel cameras.

One has a 28mm lens with f/1.8 aperture, and the other has a 56mm, telephoto lens with

f/2.8 aperture.

We get an improved portrait mode, and a portrait lighting mode, which is still in beta.

You can now shoot 4k videos at 24, 30 and 60 fps.

And 1080p Slow motion videos at 240fps.

Its just amazing to have these features packed in a smartphone.

Here are a few images that I took, in short time that I have had this phone.

I will have a dedicated camera review of this phone in a few days, and hold my verdict about

it until then.

But the performance is looking good so far.

The hexacore, A11 Bionic chip inside the phone is a power horse.

It blows away the competition with its benchmark scores.

Phone starts up really fast, apps open quicker.

But if you are coming from an iPhone 7 or 7 plus, you would barely notice any difference

in day to day performance.

Not because the 8 Plus is not fast enough, but because the 7 and 7 Plus are still really

fast phones.

That being said, 8 Plus comes with iOS 11 out of the box, and it is filled with little

bugs here and there.

Nothing too major, but there are small inconsistencies throughout the user interface.

There are dropped frames, specially while using 3d touch on the home screen.

Apple has released iOS 11.0.1 and 11.0.2, which fixes some issues and bugs.

But the dropped frames, and other small bugs are still there.

I hope we get more updates soon, so all of these issues are resolved, and we get to experience

the smooth UI that we are used to on the iPhones.

Anyways, these have been my first impressions about the iPhone 8 Plus.

To sum it up, I don't mind the similar design, but I am looking forward to the iPhone 10,

I like the glass back, I love the new gold colour, dual cameras have been impressive

so far, specially for shooting videos, and iOS 11 is a good step ahead, but its comes

with a few bugs, at least right now.

Look forward to my camera review and full review of this phone in a few weeks.

Forever21 200$ Haul + Try On - Duration: 6:38.

Today I spent about 200$ on Forever21 items

Well, I might go broke soon LOL

Since it's fall, there were so many pretty things

So I planned to spend only 100$ but I doubled it LOL

Shall we see what I bought?

Isn't the shopping bag large?

I bought many hats this time

So, I'll show you them first!

Tada~

I bought 4 berets

Actually, I don't like caps very much

But, I really like berets

And that made me buy 4 berets

Doesn't this look bling bling?

Actually, in this FW season, this kind of spangles or

Gem type embroidery style clothes are in trend

Forever21 also had that type of bling bling style

This can good to give a point

And since it's pretty, I bought two colors of it

I'll show you the red one for the try-on

I matched a black sweatshirt with a red color point look

I tried to make the outline look like a British rock band

The red spangled beret really gives a point, doesn't it?

This one is a velvet beret

It's fit is the most comfortable and

Soft Feeling,

And it was good since it was light weight

I matched it to a knitted zip-up with color blocks

Velvet and knit both give a warm feeling, and also give different moods, so even their colors are

Same, they give different looks

The top I matched with them is also an item I bought this time

So, I'll explain it later in the clip

It's the last hat I bought this time

It's made of fake leather, so I think it's useful for a leather coordination

Nowadays, after dying my hair into orange

I think green looks good on me (Is this just a guess? LOL)

That's why I bought a leather jacket in green

Its' price was very very cheap

And the fit is nice

And since it's not real leather

You can match it easily like the beret ago

Above all, it's not the usual leather jacket color

So, you can give a point!

That's the best thing of it

I matched it with a long velvet skirt

If you wear achromatic colors and wear the jacket for a point, it's finished!

The price is cheap, but the detail was okay

If you see the zipper, there's a horizontal zipper detail including the pocket

It's a knit zip-up

Its' length is a little bit crop, and its' fit is tight

So, you can make a slim fit

Also, the color blocks were so pretty, making me bye it

The O ring detail was great

This kind of style looks good with short pants

And also, just normal jeans

I boldly matched it with enamel pants

Even the match is all black except of the color blocks

The beret, top, pants, and shoes were all different materials

So, The styling gives a unique feeling

It's also comfortable to move, so I'm enjoying this nowadays

I bought it to wear it lightly inside jackets or any outwear

I matched it with a robe

If you're matching items that show your body shape

You should wear outers with bright tone-in insides

I wanted to buy more of the pretty items

But if I buy more,

I thought I might go broke this month LOL

So, I finished my shopping

These days, SPA brands like Forever21

Have pretty designs and are pretty

So, personally instead of other brand items

I usually buy SPA brands

But, since the clothes go out quickly

When I go to buy items after watching a Haul clip, they might not be there

And if you want to get unique and pretty items, it's like looking for treasure

But really

Personally, I get good items here
