Noetisexuality and my Audrey - Duration: 10:12.
I'm starting this off with a statement.
The term noetisexual was coined by Michon Neal.
I'm going to share hir Paypal.me page in the comments.
As much as my needs are, hirs are much more dire.
This might change by the time I'm recording this, but I will admit to a lot of white fragility
as well as struggle with my own mental health issues- and after something I did, said, posted,
shared on Facebook, Michon unfriended me.
I don't know what specifically, or even if it's just the color of my skin and my racialized
identity; I'm still unlearning the racism I was raised with plus the simple fact of
being a white person living in a white supremacy.
Ze explains how noetisexual is a better term than sapiosexual;
I believe that if you donate to hir Patreon if you can find it, you'll get to read the full thing, but it was hard
enough for me to go looking for the Paypal.me; I don't have anymore Matchsticks in me for anymore looking.
Unfortunately people had stolen hir intellectual property so ze had to protect hirself at one
point by making a lot of hir articles into "Patron-only" available.
And before you get any further, I am using Michon's pronouns.
Z-e and h-i-r.
While there isn't any agreement that I know of on how to pronounce h-i-r, that doesn't
give a reason in my opinion not to respect someone's pronouns.

So I hope by this point that you've located Michon's article or articles; now I'm going
to continue on with my understanding of hir writing.
"Intelligence" is such a small piece of people's internal landscapes; as someone who is a survivor
of various traumas, is neurodivergent, is bipolar, I have a lot of problems that can
disguise and complicate how intelligent I may seem.
That all meant that Michon's theory of noetisexuality resonated with me.
Somewhere after reading that, I started to think about my characters and how close I
am to them.
I don't remember why *non-penetrative sex* was on my mind, but it was and Audrey responded.
Let me give you a little summary (spoilers ahead about my Vala's Story-verse, by the
way- skip ahead to the *time stamp* I will provide once I've finished recording this,
if you don't want to read them... or hear them.)
Audrey's story runs importantly throughout the Vala's Story-verse.
She is the woman who helped The Queen as a desperate teen in need and then once he was
the age of consent, she taught him how to be a dominant and submissive.
She's a beautiful Black transgender woman originally from the US South, although she's
been living in New York City since probably her early 20s.
She has her own family of submissives who have submitted to-to her.
Yes, I'm being a terrible author here and mixing verb tenses.
Audrey is now a 68 year old woman; we had a moment when I did the math and figured out
that I'd been thinking her only 35.
When she asked if her age of 68 mattered, I said "not one bit."
Whether you listened to the spoilers on Audrey's background or not, let me get back to that
*non-penetrative sex* thing.
I was thinking about ways to "have sex" that don't include *penis or phallic object inserted
into hole.* Audrey put forward that she and I could have sex that didn't include penetration.
I don't remember hesitating to question the logistics of her proposal; nope, my question
was about my agreements about polyamory with my Master as well as her polyamory agreements
with her submissives.
But once the polyamory part was behind us, what about the logistics of sexual intercourse?
I've written many pages of romance and sex- sometimes they were entirely fictional, sometimes
they even included me and what I'd done or hoped to do.
I'd already written dreams of what it would be like to have sex with various characters
from the Vala's Story-verse.
The idea of having sex with Audrey in my mind never seemed odd or impossible to me.
Why limit reality?
Plenty of religions ask us to believe things we can't see with our eyes normally.
I argued not too long ago, "Well doesn't Audrey have a soul?
If one believes in a soul- and I'm not entirely convinced one way or the other.
But whatever animation I have, she has; the only difference is that I have a flesh and
blood body and she doesn't."
I stand by that; Audrey is as real as I am; she has more *backstory* (to use the writer-ly
term) than I've even thought of.
She often behaves in ways I don't expect, wouldn't want if I was an author fully in
charge of a character's story.
My daughter teases me about "your fake girlfriend."
While the majority of her relationships have been long distance and primarily online, using
some form of technology to be together- like "going to bed while on Skype," the notion
that Audrey doesn't have a physical body makes the whole question of a relationship with her
invalid to my daughter.
And I get it- most people don't find my relationship with Audrey valid.
I used to call Audrey "my character/girlfriend" to explain to people that she doesn't have
a physical body; I don't think that validity was an active part of my mind when I talked
with her about just saying "my girlfriend."
However, I do call her "my girlfriend" now.
And our minds connect, even if her mind is within my mind.
What are we doing on social media, if not connecting with other people?
And I'm now wandering.
Hopefully a friend can read this before I turn it into a vlog and tell me why I started
wandering- if that's possible- edited to add: my friend was wise- "have you ever thought
about why your relationship with Audrey is important to you?" she asked.
I'll link the vlog answering that question once it's made.

What is Aquafaba and should you eat it? - Duration: 1:44.
So what's aquafaba and is it a better nutrition tool you should be using? you betcha!
So aqua faba is literally fava beans
We get from the fava bean the chickpea, so it's the water it's that viscous thick material that we often think oh
And I'm taking chickpeas out of a can or out of a jar
I should rinse it and get rid of it well. No no no you know a few years ago
I learned about aqua fiber because there was a company sir Kensington that was using it in their manis and it got me thinking
Well if they're using it can't we all use it, and I'm loving seeing it explode all over the internet
So here's what you need to know 1 tablespoon aqua fava. That's gonna replace a yolk 2 tablespoons
That would replace the egg white so that means 3 tablespoons is what you need for a whole egg
And it doesn't mean that you can never have eggs again, but think about how great it is
There's only three to five calories per tablespoon
So what a cool way to be able to use something first of all that you would be throwing away?
So getting rid of some food waste and actually not get any other nutrients
You know when I get asked if something is better for us a lot of times people will think that better
It's always about more right. It's gotta have more calcium or more nutrients in it
Sometimes something that has naturally almost no nutrients in it is a great replacement
Because here you can use aquafaba for meringues. You can use it to make chocolate mousse you can use it gosh
There's so many different ways, and if you have a great aqua fava recipe

Breaking: Paul Ryan Betrays 2nd Amendment… Send Him Home! | Top Stories Today - Duration: 2:44.
House Speaker Paul Ryan has reportedly shelved an NRA-backed bill that would have made it
easier for gun owners to obtain a firearm suppressor, leading many Second Amendment
activists to speculate he's fallen for the left's lies and scare tactics.
The bill is "not scheduled right now — I don't know when it will be scheduled,"
Ryan announced Tuesday, making it clear the bill has been shelved indefinitely, as reported
by the Chicago Tribune.
Ryan issued this statement two days after a gunman opened fire on a country music concert
from the 32nd floor of a Las Vegas hotel, killing at least 59 and wounding over 500.
Likewise, he said this roughly 24 hours after failed Democrat presidential nominee Hillary
Clinton purposefully politicized the tragedy by falsely claiming more would have died Sunday
had the shooter used a gun suppressor:
As noted earlier this week by gun rights expert Awr Hawkins, "suppressors do not eliminate
the sound of a gunshot."
To be clear, the Sportsmen's Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act was never scheduled
for a vote this week, as noted by Katie Pavlich of Townhall.
The problem lies with Ryan's obvious insinuation that he has no intention of bringing the bill
up for a vote anytime soon, if ever.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Congress likewise postponed a hearing on the SHARE
Act following the shooting in June, when a deranged leftist opened fire on GOP congressmen
who were practicing for a baseball game at a field in Virginia.
That shooting wound up critically injuring House Majority Whip Steve Scalise.
"When two mass shootings force you to delay a bill that would make those mass shootings
harder to detect and stop, maybe that's a sign you ought to let go of the bill once
and for all," Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer reportedly said Tuesday following
Ryan's surprise announcement.
Congratulations on missing the point, Schumer …
Here's the truth: "When two mass shootings force you to delay a bill," maybe it's
a sign you need to stop allowing the fear-mongering lies of the shameless left dictate how you
run Congress.
This especially applies to the SHARE Act, which Hawkins noted simply "removes the
burdensome process for acquiring them and erases the federal tax that must be paid in
order to receive permission to posses one."
There's nothing radical about this bill, but because Ryan has less of a backbone than
a slug, he's been forced into a position of submission yet again.

-So that's from my company my daughter and I started a company a clothing line called
Love Legislation and as I went to art school about you know a hundred years
ago I decided to create... it's a brand base...I want to create a logo, so I did an
anatomical drawing...I did all these different drawings...I filled up an entire
pad of paper and then I finally came up with something that I think matched what
we were trying to get across...Love Legislation the opposite of hate
legislation... handed off to my younger to my older daughter excuse me Sophia and
said can you make a computer graphic out of this and she said I sure can and it's
gonna be dope and she did! - Awesome -...And it's an optical illusion and we're very
very proud of it I'd say eighty-nine ninety percent of the people only see
one basic thing at first and they don't see the actual thing there's two images
right and it's always I love to look in people's eyes when they see the other
thing, the other image. -The realization happens I'm gonna do one more shot for the folks at home
with my cool hat... what color is this anyway? That one is sublime
seafoam. -Sublime...I feel fantast...I do feel sublime right now I feel dope!
So, Love Legislation and it's it's hats it's it's it's? -It's hats, it's active where I hate the
term athleisure it makes my skin crawl it's really we're trying we're
coining the term "actual wear" because it's sort of like activist wear and
activist active wear...it's very urban edgy...-Is it is it very like you can
you could do anything with it? -Yes exactly like for instance I love
clothing because it's sort of like like out it's a second skin to me I love
foreign languages too, I like things that make I feel like I can change
fit in and meet new people depending on what I wear and what languages I speak
right so like for instance these are my cool shoes...I think they're Mark
Fisher I love these shoes because they're really cute but they're fun to
walk in but I'm wearing them with with active wear pants. -...And this is for your line? -From...
my line, Love Legislation and I actually design the pants myself it's an
asymmetrical which is also I love asymmetrical things because you know no
one's perfectly symmetrical look it's it it's it's real being asymmetrical is
very real...-It's more honest...-No one is perfectly balanced. -Huh cool. -Yeah. -So it's uh and so okay so
it's it's for everyday life it's for making it to the cut so there's other
things there's tops there's bottom...-We have headbands we have snap backs we
have dad caps we have tank tops coming out unisex tank tops coming out. -And is
this all going to be an e-commerce thing sorry I interrupted...
-Yes yes it is an e-commerce thing but we're gonna try to get into boutiques
that's what we're doing now as well another cool thing is um it's as we say
it's we also call it protest wear... and what happened with the name love
legislation is that when NC hb2 happened ...a few years ago now which is
North Carolina House Bill 2 for anyone who's not familiar was the anti-trans
legislation... my daughter at the time my older daughter Sophia it's at
Columbia University she's she loves fashion but she also loves politics
she's a DC kid grew up in DC...um I love fashion and politics and had just
come off a year living in Rome where I was really juiced about my my fashion
and I said Sophia we got to do something about this I mean to me it's just so
glaringly backwards you know my my ex-husband is Dominican you know years
ago I technically I wouldn't have been a allowed to to marry him in certain
states in the United States because of the fact that you know
he's mixed race and I just thought are we going backwards again we take you
step back so we got it we have to do something that encompasses this but not
just this because it always be something ... so we talked about calling it
unicorn Lu like unicorns are these beautiful magical creatures equating
that with a trans person and then Lu like a bathroom you know in English then
we thought well that's 2 1 that's 2 once that's that one thing right we need to
make it broader right so we took hate legislation and we spun it it said love
legislation and so we came up with this brand we have it copyrighted and we're
really excited very cool yeah and I feel like you remember what Michael Jordan
said years ago sure he's he said somebody asked him Michael why don't you
take a stand on politics and he said something to the effect of well because
Republicans buy my tennis shoes too and Sophia and I just really feel that it's
time to take it stance okay um you know I'm the mom of two latina daughters yeah
and I can't the direction is the person who's heading this country is it
frightens me on words okay I'm very Pro woman feminist so many respects yes so
you're doing something about it we're doing some positive and we believe
everyone has to just take a stand now yeah if you feel if you don't do
anything you're on the wrong side right that's the way we feel anyway sure sure
that's super intense you want to keep talking about it is pretty I mean in its
it's important to but it's also like taking our love of art and design and
computer graphics right and really thinking about things
and calling attention to things you know and then putting that into clothing and
plus you're working with your daughter that's pretty cool you have a cool
relationship with your kids yeah super cool I actually um met Michelle Obama
the other really super cool she's awesome she was at this exercise class
and I had I had some hats with me because I always have hats with me yeah
and I actually was so nervous I thought I'm just gonna go up and say something
so I went up and I was you know sweaty armpits and her Secret Service sorted
through the body block but I was like I'm not gonna do anything I just I just
say mrs. Obama and I call her mrs. O ha I said you are an inspiration and I just
wish you know my daughter nicer to a woman and minority-owned company and we
would be honored if you wore one of our hats and she stopped and then the Secret
Service agent has to stop and she said thank you so much and I
literally walked away and I started to tear up the most intense things going on
there a lot of things going on there and I just think that she is the current day
Jackie Robinson she has to have such grace under so much pressure yes and
then bringing up those two little girls who aren't little girls anymore right in
the spotlight and you know who her husband is yeah I do okay okay um yeah
listen oh we talked we were saying before the blocks can go super fast it's
going pretty fast yes what's up man is there anything else you want to shout
out to throw out there yeah I also would like to say I've been thinking a lot
about being a strong woman lately yes and um you know I'm I recently gotten
separated and I've noticed I've noticed that a lot of times when women are
strong and self-possessed and have an opinion a well informed opinion because
that's always important to have a well informed a pin
and a lot of times men like to shut us down they can't deal with it and I just
want to tell all the young women out there it's not about being except about
by anyone sex you be who you are be as smart as you can be get as well educated
as you can gasps get and speak your opinion be proud of yourself

called the words of wisdom in the WoW moment but I feel like you just did it
