Youtube daily report Feb 2 2018

Hi, everyone. LOUD SOUND atelier here.

Today, we're reviewing a car from Krasnodar.

And two reviews back, we had just a similar car.

Or rather, its pre-restyling version.

So, this is one KIA Cerato and, like I said, the car has come here from Krasnodar.

In that previous video we trolled Moscow studios.

In this one, we're going to troll the Krasnodar ones.

Kostya, why are people coming to us? Stas, do you even work there or not?

We got some pretty interesting system composition here.

Almost all of the hardware comes from Russian brands.

Here, these are the producing cities:

Rostov, Kazan, Moscow, Samara.

And if we forget the Chinese HU - and the fact the car is Korean -

we got ourselves quite a patriotic Russian-make audio system.

Here you can find almost all the components you love.

Ural, and Dynamic State, and Alphard and all.

So, let's start... where?

Under the hood? Let's start with the looks. The car looks really nice.

The design is really cool, and so is what seems to be the assembly. I don't know, so, I won't judge.

Reviewers probably know it better.

The car, tho, is really nice both inside and outside.

Looks quite aggressive on the outside, but at the same time, it's quite stock.

Stock rims here.

No colors except for white, black and chrome are seen on this car.

The car actually looks very pretty.

Even though it's, well, a low-cost car.

In fact, it does look quite business-y.

The roof was re-modeled by the owner, Dmitriy.

And it affected the car's looks in a very positive way.

Btw, film Dima. He's out guest today.

Well, because he's retrieving the car.

Dima, would you care to say why you didn't go to anyone in Krasnodar?

You can't hear it anyway, but he said:

'I just didn't know there were dope specialists there,

like...' Like whom, we're not saying.

I'm not making that joke anymore. It's old.

Everyone knows that 16 V stands for...

[T]: Double U 16?

I mean, there are 'experts' who claim V is for Valve,

like, it has 16 valves, alright? But we know that is not the case.

[T]: This says DOnt Hole Cover.

Yes. 16-volt Donut Hole Cover it is.

Just don't say it's valves, okay? You know nothing about cars.

Okay, a powerful turbine here. An intercooler.

Kicx, again, Tigran?

[T]: Yes. They've updated it.

Kicgran. You hear me, Kicgran?

[T]: Yes, this is new Kicx.

Restyled?

Doesn't burn, huh?

Okay, let Kicx be Kicx. Hey, you know they're gonna...

[T]: Troll me? For putting screws through the handle?

Yes. You think it's okay?

Write in the comments if you troll Tigran for screwing it onto filters,

or onto lids, some nearby handles.

Cars' stock parts.

I don't know. I don't really care. In my car, it could be just hangin' somewhere.

Well, I don't have 'em either. Didn't really put them in.

What the hell, man! What's this ₽2k worth battery?

So, he drills a few holes in the handle.

I see no crime here, actually.

If the owner is okay with it, to my mind, then it's okay.

Are you okay?

[D]: Yeah, totally.

Here. The main thing is that...

[D]: You haven't seen what they do in Krasnodar.

Well, we do it like the owner needs.

I would come to Tigran, and he'd install nothing there.

He just grabbed the cables, laid them from here, punched holes in my engine cover...

Thank God, the guys who bought my BMW knew my car.

How would I sell it with those holes at random..?

[T]: For money.

I mean, for people it's like... They come up, and go, 'Fck! A punched BMW!'

[M]: Myth busted!

Okay. let's move on.

So, we've covered it all. The 16-volt, the turbine - all here.

Okay, in the doors, we have all Rostov-born speakers.

Purely Rostov speakers. These are T-34, or favs.

A great alternative to B&C DE 35. They cost 3 times less,

and play not much worse at all.

Some of the best tweeters on the market now in their price range.

MX-60 here, the DeafBonces, also loved by the market.

Amazing sellers.

And Dynamic State - can't remember the name.

Dear Andrey, the owner of Dynamic State, the brand.

What the heck with titles this long: CM-20.4 Custom Services?

Actually, might not be that long.

C-series, M for mid-bass, 20-cm, 4 (probably) Ohms.

Here, if you were wondering about the system composition, here it is.

If you're a rookie, or you can't read that fast - press pause. Here's a lifehack.

Now, that you're off pause, let's continue.

The speakers play along in perfect accord. But that was not the surprise.

The Head Unit was.

Here we have a China make HU, from AliExpress, named somehow.

Noone knows what its title is.

Just a Chinese Head Unit.

My first impression of it was not that nice.

Because - here, you see why. See these buttons?

They stretch over behind this frame a bit.

However..! Is it specifically for KIA or you can choose the logo?

[D]: I'm pretty sure you choose.

Huh? So it's, like, for any car make, right?

The cost is ₽20,000. The naked chick - dunno if she was already here, or Dima set it.

Well, she's not naked. Was this the pre-set wallpaper?

Seriously? Whoa! Those Chinese sure know how to sell!

Is she Chinese?

Hey, Tigran, check it. Do you know your non-slavs?

Okay, we're gonna get banned for porn.

Color rendition is not great. Let's say, average.

But the HU works quite quickly, quite lively

and the ergonomics is great.

For instance, we can regulate volume here with these touch-buttons.

Or on the wheel.

Or we can open the volume scroller here, on the upper edge,

and change it here.

You also get everything you could ask for in here:

a modem hookup option, digital TV, Bluetooth,

radio, video - you name it.

This basically is an Android-powered tablet.

It's just cut out for being installed in a car.

With RCA outputs, a nice... a nice equalizer.

But other settings - it's not that they are crappy. There are none.

No crossover here. I couldn't fin one.

But, since this is an Android device, you can install a different player

supporting any settings you can and can't think of.

Which is dope.

Guidance, for sure. No problems on that part here.

Everything works perfectly lively, really nice.

Very quick, too.

The Head rose really positive emotions.

I've seen AliExpress heads. They've only caused disgust.

Remember we had one car? You couldn't even see what's on the screen.

[T]: Yeah. The screen was dark.

Yeah. Out of the flaws I noticed first was that the screen's no good for the passenger.

It really reflects a lot.

It would be inconvenient for the passenger.

I don't know if the cam renders it, but...

Check it out. So badass, Tigran. Is yours like it?

No? You drive a weirdo Korean car?

This one is Russian, it's okay.

They assemble these in Russia, don't they?

[T]: Mine was made in Russia, too.

Really? Check out these LEDs.

Write if you know how they are made. Oh, wait. The cam shows. There they are.

[T]: Oh, right. It's opaque.

Can you imagine this? Can't see with your eyes, but the cam can.

Here are the LEDs.

[T]: We cracked those Korens!

I mean, you really can't see yourself.

Yes, the lighting is really nice. Must be eye-burning for those behind.

They must swear a lot. 'Why the fck would you buy that car?!'

I sometimes would, with the Germans.

One'd be driving, and then, you know, an industrial light hits your eyes from their car.

You just can't watch it.

And then they hit the brakes and fck you with the high beam.

Okay, Tigran, Open. There's no button here, either?

Oh, now they do.

In the trunk, we have one Tula Tokarev.

No kidding. What do you do in Tula, right?

You buy a Tula Tokarev pistol, you eat Tula gingerbread, and you fck Tula hoes.

Why Tula Tokarev?

I first wanted to troll Ural for it, but then I remembered -

Afghanistan, Warhead and other cute titles they've stuck on their subs.

No, this is actually cool.

What the fck is the pistol for - dunno. TT sounds fun, right?

The pistol, however, is a debatable marketing move. But okay.

The key point is, LOUD SOUND's here, in red, in harmony with the stitching,

and the red TT.

So, like I promised, we're starting Russia. This is Moscow.

Next comes Kazan - Pride Quattro, an amazing 4-channel amp.

AB-class. This is a new version - Plus. This one costs a bit more.

This one costs ₽8 900.

It serves the Dynamic State mid-basses and the Alphard mid-range speakers here.

Next, we see an Aria amp which feeds our tweeters.

And an Avatar monoblock pumping up the sub.

The system's weak link is the stock battery.

The light blinks a bit when the bass is on, and there are power leaks.

I'd say we recommend to replace the battery in the future.

This one is not a gut-twisting system, for sure.

The sub set here is not for that

but rather for sonic backup.

So we got this moderate volume

and great quality.

Perfect for replacing the stock audio.

We're often asked to announce the budget.

Tihs time you are lucky. The total budget is ₽140 000.

Out of which 40 000 is the hardware, 20 000 is the head unit.

It makes 60 000. And 80 000 for the job.

People often ask, 'Why's the job so expensive?'

People think 'the job' here is just laying a few cables and hooking them up to + and -

This cost usually includes noise- and vibroproofing materials, cables and wires,

podiums, re-holstering and all.

Finally, the subwoofer box.

So, we got here a pretty nice audio system

with the total ready-for-use budget of ₽140 000.

And... Dima, you happy?

[D]: I'm stunned.

Dima is very happy. He's like...

Back when I was setting up the system, my peripheral vision caught him,

and he had this baby smile on his face. I guess he was liking what he was hearing.

The music really turned out decent. I was very surprised by this HU.

Gotta check is it the stars, or the Chinese just had a mixup

and put some nice stuffing in the device.

A nice DAC, well, the sound's... I was surprised a Chinese HU could make it so nice.

No settings there was disappointing, though.

You can purchase all the components at our store at loudsound.ru

About the installation, too. People often ask in comments.

Again, here's @tigran_loudsound... Oh, not there. Here, right?

[T]: Yep.

Here is Tigran's Instagram. Ask him question via direct messages.

Start with the installation, and once you've decided where to place it all,

start to look for components.

Text me on Vk, here's the address. We can help you put together a system.

That's all. This was LOUD SOUND... Ah, we didn't turn on music, did we?

Okay, I'm gonna say Goodbye, and you enjoy the music.

Bye, everyone. Live LOUD.

How about this one?

[T]: Okay. Haven't listened to it a while.

[Like for the banana!]

So, how did it end?

Dima, I hope you liked it?

[D]: Yes! I really like it.

[D]: And I don't regret spending all this time to travel from Krasnodar to Rostov.

[D]: I recommend everyone. Everyone, come to LOUD SOUND.

Thanks! This kind of feedback is very important to us.

What about you, Tigran?

[T]: Awesome! I'm really content. I mean, it turned out a low-cost 3-way.

[T]: And the playing is decent.

[T]: We've installed a bunch, with ₽100 000 and ₽150 000 budgets -

[T]: 3-ways, I mean.

[T]: And this one for 40,000 sounds really nice.

[K]: Krazy Kar.

Hey, you, Krazy. Why the fck d'you buy a shirt like mine?

So, write if you liked it.

And... so. And the '13. We're preparing a raview... Shit!

Tigran wants to show something about this Granta.

Is this all going in it?

[T]: It is all going in it.

I'm not sitting down.

[T]: Well, stand, then!

I seem slimmer this way.

No, really! I'm standing up, and it's all bulky.

If I sat down, I'd be fcked.

Happy, fcking, New Year. It's 'cuz I got ill!

No, I'm serious. I didn't drink or stuff. I just couldn't hit the gym. I was ill, dammit.

Tigran, tell your tanning guy, he needs to tan in a different place.

Tigran?

[T]: Huh?

Are you... Are you pooping there? What? Seriously?

[T]: Don't film it!

I'm not filming. What am I, a perv, to film someone taking a dump?

ESOcast 149: Fast Track Your Career with the ESO Studentship Programmes - Duration: 4:45.

Being here at ESO has been great for my career because ESO encourages a proactive mindset.

Being a student at ESO is definitely a good launching point for a career in astronomy

I feel like I've been challenged and been given the opportunity to really push myself to develop

The studentship at ESO exposes me to a large variety of ideas

ESO studentships give PhD students the chance to work on their doctoral project for one to two years at ESO

They remain under the formal supervision of their home university

but also have the co-supervision of an ESO staff astronomer and the mentorship of an ESO Fellow.

Studentships are available both at ESO's Headquarters in Garching near Munich, Germany, and at ESO's astronomy centre in Santiago, Chile.

ESO Headquarters is situated in one of the most active research centres in Europe,

boasting one of the highest concentrations of astronomers in the world.

Leading scientists, instrument experts and other professionals are within easy reach.

They provide students with many training opportunities which will prove very valuable for their future careers.

I think what I most enjoy about the studentship is all the people

and it's not just because they are astronomers but a lot of them are engineers or people from outreach

so yet again I learn so much about astronomy outside what I do most of the time.

I enjoy the most the possibility to explore things and to talk to a lot of people.

What I enjoy the most about being a student at ESO is that it puts you at the centre

of the thriving astronomy community

and it also gives you the opportunity to network.

In addition to the studentships at ESO's Headquarters, ESO offers a similar programme in Chile.

Here, in Chile, it's a great opportunity to speak to the experts in instrumentation

and to really get to grips with the instruments that you're using.

One can get a hands-on view and a practical experience of how the observations are taken.

Wherever they are based, students at ESO research a wide range of cutting-edge astronomical topics...

I study the evolution of galaxies.

My primary research is in supermassive black holes.

Here at ESO I work on how stars and star clusters are formed.

ESO is a place to challenge yourself and get the opportunity to learn new things

and better yourself as an astronomer and as a researcher.

ESO also puts strong emphasis on supporting and nurturing students in their personal development,

as well as encouraging a wider atmosphere of collaboration, friendship and respect...

ESO is a unique place.

I enjoy the most the non-hierarchical, friendly and stimulating atmosphere.

I enjoy most the opportunity to speak with astronomers, to speak with fellows and staff,

and to get new ideas, and to learn something new everyday.

I like the fact that there is a very strong social support at ESO.

If you would like to become one of our students and enjoy the benefits of spending some of your PhD at ESO

apply to our programmes in Chile or Germany.

Don't forget to take into account the advice from our current or past students!

Advice I'd give to prospective fellows and students would be

— whatever area you're interested in, you should really throw yourself at it.

speak to everyone you can

and always be on the lookout for that one new piece of information that could revolutionise your project.

I would firmly encourage you to apply.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

So my advice to students is: do it!

I never regret that I actually applied because it turnout is amazing

Five Reasons I Believe in Nationalized Internet - Duration: 6:52.

Business Insider broke the story that Trump and his National Security team have considered

deploying a nationwide 5G wireless network owned and operated by the federal government.

Now, I know that many of my friends are instinctually opposed to the idea of the government owning

Internet infrastructure. And I can see some of the valid criticisms. Surveillance being

a big one. Stay tuned to the end of the video. I'll touch on this, too.

However, there's something to be said for the idea of government-operated networks.

Hi, I'm Gardiner, The Linux Gamer, and here are five reasons I believe in a Nationalized

Internet Infrastructure.

But before we get started, I'm going to apologize to my non-American viewers. This

video will be from the perspective of me, a US Citizen.

#5 Geography I live in rural Maine. If you don't know

where that is, it's just south of the north pole. That being the case, there are no good

choices for Internet here.

At my old house, my only option for landline Internet was 4MBit DSL. There was no option

for cable, no option for fiber to the home. And at speeds like that, 4G was tempting.

If you live in the middle of nowhere like I do, you have probably run into the same

problem. And seeing as this country is HUGE. With vast swaths that are arguably not populated

enough to be profitable to service, a national 5G infrastructure makes sense. Especially

given that the telecom mafia have left us with few choices and no good alternatives.

Out here we're stuck in this limbo of terribly slow service, and poorly maintained infrastructure

that the monopolies won't lift a finger to support. And speaking of monopolies...

#4 Monopoly-busters

A nationalized 5G infrastructure would provide real competition against a slothful, stagnant

telecom industry. It would be able to service rural areas that haven't seen upgrades since

the late 90s. It would force companies like Spectrum, Consolidated Communications, Comcast,

and others to actually COMPETE to service their customers.

I don't know a libertarian alive who can argue with the idea that competition is good

for business and consumers. And since companies aren't clamoring to compete with each other,

why shouldn't the government compete with them? And while we're on the subject...

#3 International Competition

The world isn't as big as it used to be. Countries don't exist as islands unto themselves,

and the workforce, like it or not, is now a global one. Countries like China are rolling

out their own 5G networks, getting their people connected (albeit in a censored, sandboxed

internet, but still). The bandwidth speed for the average American has consistently

ranked low among industrialized nations and growth in average speeds is unimpressive.

What does this have to do with anything? Essentially my argument is that, in an era where work

can be done from anywhare, those who are connected and have the fastest speeds have an advantage.

Not only that, but as a country that prides itself on being "The Best™" we sure

haven't earned it. At least not in this category. Our ranking is low, our ISPs inferior,

and progress, it seems, has all but halted.

We need to compete with other countries, connecting as many of our people as we can to as fast

as internet as possible.

#2 Regulation & Net Neutrality

Regulation is *important*. Companies like Facebook and Google shouldn't be allowed

to track us everywhere we go online (or in real life for that matter). Companies like

Comcast or Verizon shouldn't be allowed to throttle your speeds while you're behaving

lawfully.

But the prime argument against Net Neutrality, especially by Ajit Pai, is that the government

has no legal jurisdiction to enforce neutrality rules.

But if the government owned the pipeline, they would. Net neutrality is extremely important

and if Verizon wanted rent the government's network to sell it to us, they'd have to

play by the rules.

Now, you might be asking, "Who makes the rules?" Call me naive, but the government

answers to We The People.

#1 Public Ownership = Public Control

I'm concerned that we've lost sight of this, as a country. But the fact is, those

who work in the public sector, be it mayors, state legislators, faceless bureaucrats, senators,

or even the president, they answer to people. In my opinion, we have more say with our vote

and with our voice than we do with our dollar. We can make decisions collectively and rationally

by visiting the polls, rather than as "the free market" which makes freakenomic decisions

based on convenience and marketing.

Public ownership of the internet infrastructure empowers us to make decisions about the networks

that enable and empower us. A nationalized 5G network would give opportunities to those

who need it, it would go a long way towards defending freedom, openness, and net neutrality,

and it would make our country and its businesses more competitive. In my opinion, this project

is a no-brainer.

BONUS: Surveillance

But let's talk about surveillance. Surveillance is a real danger. It's unethical, counter-productive,

and sews paranoia. But realistically the government doesn't need to operate the network in order

to spy on us since the private companies that own them now already do. And so does Google,

Facebook, Amazon, and marketing companies the world over.

Surveillance is bad, but I'm far more worried about private companies collecting data about

me and having that info scooped up by the NSA. As opposed to the alternative of having

the FCC operating a 5G network where there would be separation of power and middleman

bureaucracy in place to protect us. And where my vote has a say in how the network operates.

If you're afraid of surveillance, in my opinion, the military-industrial complex is

a much greater threat than a federally-owned network would be. And if it's something

that really concerns you, do something about it. Vote. Write your legislators. Donate to

action organizations.

But that's enough preaching. What do you think? Does the idea appeal to you or scare

you? Leave me a comment down below or tweet @TheLinuxGamer.

How Do I Avoid Future Gum Problems, Surgery, or Tooth Loss? | Dr. Donald Wilcox - Duration: 1:58.

Patients who are very conscious about their heath are always concerned about where the

heath of their gum tissue is and how is it effecting their overall health, what their

future might hold as far as future needs for gum treatment, surgery, or even the possibility

of losing teeth – which they don't want to do.

So, we're very thorough about checking the health of the gum and tissues when you come

in for your, whether it's a new patient visit or a recall visit, hygienists are thoroughly

going to check all the areas – check the pocket depths – you'll be educated and

informed about the level of pockets and bacteria in your mouth.

If there are areas where we're having infection going on, we'll certainly offer you nonsurgical

treatments of periodontal therapies.

We have the use of antibiotics that can be placed locally to kill bacteria.

Also, the use of lasers that can help sterilize pockets and help regenerate them.

So, we have all these available.

We have bacteria testing where we can measure the level of bacteria in your mouth and be

able to create a baseline of where you're at, and we can check again after treatment to

make sure we have the bacteria under control.

One thing that we do use in the office also, we offer our patients and use for long-term

maintenance what we call the Perio Protect trays.

I wear them myself, most of our staff does.

It's one of the most neat, and easy, and revolutionary ways to control the bacteria.

They're custom-fit trays that you have made here in the office and you take them with

you to your home, and then once or twice a day you can provide medication inside of them

and place them in the mouth, and they do a tremendous job of controlling oral bacteria

in the places where the traditional brushing and flossing can't reach.

So, when you combine that with your traditional home-care methods, it elevates the level of

health in the mouth and your overall body.

Mel B strips to VERY small bikini bottoms: 'I didn't even recognise you'

The Scary singer decided to treat fans this week, by inviting them into her very own Spice Girls shrine.

Surrounded by leopard print clothing, the bombshell posted to the official Mel B Instagram account wearing a minuscule bikini that left very little to the imagination.

These days, the starlet is rarely seen sporting the wild kind of outfits seen around her, although her swimwear combo shocked fans thanks to its shrunken size.

The red top half of her outfit featured a see-through middle and stopped just below chest, allowing her to flaunt her washboard abs while Mels bottoms appeared to be two-sizes too small.

  A post shared by Mel B (@officialmelb) on Jan 31, 2018 at 1:41pm PST.

Mel completed her look with a pair of red heels, and opted to wear her freshly dyed blonde locks down in curls.

Writing to her 1 million followers, the singer said: Yes this is my spice shrine.

Yes, Im in a bikini.

Yes Im 42 and all my bling is @icelinkofficial [sic]. Former X Factor judge Mels fans wasted no time leaving complements over her saucy snap with one writing: Happy to see you in top form! Scary, how gorgeous you look in that bikini! Spice level is off the charts!.

"Doesnt even look like you." Instagram user A second chimed in: Wish I looked that good at 42, keep being you and the rest will take care of itself. However, others were amazed at her recent transformation following her split from Stephen Belafonte.

Others were Doesnt even look like you. Another added: Woah! I didn't even recognise you!.

The mum-of-three also used the opportunity to add to further speculation that a long awaited Spice Girls reunion could finally be on the cards, adding the hashtag #PowerOfFive in the caption.

Geri Horner, Mel B, Mel C, and Emma Bunton have reportedly found a compromise to reunite with Victoria Beckham after she refused to ever sing with the band again.

The girls are reportedly set to reform on Chinese Television show to act as judges in an X Factor style talent search.

Daughter Mourns After Mom Dies From Cancer, Then Finds Heartbreaking Letter From Beyond

The Grave

Losing a parent at any age is incredibly difficult, but it is even more so when the children are

young.

You rely on your parents for comfort, strength, love, and advice, and to have that ripped

away is almost unbearable.

Unfortunately, 18-year-old Hannah Summers has experienced this firsthand.

Her mom, Margaret "Peggy" Summers, passed away on Tuesday after a difficult battle with

kidney cancer.

The family grieved together, heartbroken over the loss of an incredible woman gone too soon.

As they mourned, though, they came across some letters Peggy had written.

She had undergone surgery in June and knew at the time it was risky.

She wanted to give her four children something to hold onto, so she had written them each

a special letter.

Peggy survived that surgery, but after her passing earlier this week those words she

had written a few months before brought her family some peace and comfort in the midst

of their heartache.

"It was really hard to read, but at the same time it brought me a lot of comfort because

it helped me realize she's always gonna be here with me," Hannah said.

"I think she wanted to write it to make sure we all knew that she's with us and

to give us some closure."

While Hannah at first wanted to keep the special letter to herself, she eventually decided

to share it on Twitter as a tribute to her mother.

"The more I read it, the more I felt like I had to," she said.

"It has a lot of lessons people can learn from, and it really showed who my mom was."

Hannah,

If you are reading this, then the surgery did not go well.

I'm sorry, I tried my best to beat this terrible disease but I guess God had other

things for me to do.

Please don't be mad, bad things happen in life and we have to learn to deal with it

no matter how much it hurts.

I want you to be happy and use the gifts God has given you.

You will be a wonderful nurse just as you are a wonderful person.

Study hard in school, don't worry about a job.

If you want to work in the summer fine but you need to really concentrate on school.

Be patient with Dad, this is going to be hard on him and he will need time.

You both need to lean on each other and talk a lot which is not one of our strong points,

but try and don't give up.

Remember you have a lot of people who love you so talk to them often.

Use your common sense about things like not going anywhere by yourself and having an emergency

kit in your car in the winter.

If you can carpool to school do it, stay away from parties because they are usually bad,

not all boys are bad but most will tell you anything to try to get you to do things, try

to hang out with people who have the same beliefs as you because they will make you

stronger.

Remember that I am still with you and still just as proud of you as I always have been.

Keep God in your life and never be ashamed to let others know you love God.

If you have kids someday, make sure they know how much I love them and wanted to be there

to see them.

You are going to do great in life and I will be smiling with you through all the important

moments in your life.

I am thankful God gave us this past year to get closer and spend a lot of quality time

together.

Hang onto those good memories and tell everyone you love them as often as you can.

Enjoy life and live each day as if it's your last because none of us know if today

will be the last.

And most of all remember that I Love You more than you will ever know!

Mom

"I can't imagine how hard that must have been for her to write, but it shows what kind

of person she was," Hannah said.

"She wasn't thinking about herself when she wrote them, she was thinking about us."

Hannah said the selflessness displayed in the letter was a reflection of how her mom

lived her life.

Peggy was a special education teacher's aide at New Haven High School in Indiana.

She went above and beyond to care for her students and show them love.

"She was so compassionate towards others," Hannah said.

"She would give rides to students who didn't have cars, and donate furniture and books

to students who didn't have a very good home life.

Hannah said she hopes that in sharing her letter others will appreciate their loved

ones and show them how much they care while they still can.

"[B]efore my mom passed she wrote us all letters," she wrote when she shared her

letter on Twitter.

"[T]his is mine.

please hug your parents a little closer and never take them for granted because you never

know when you could lose them.

I love you momma."

We all have a little good inside us.

Netflix, Vanilla, OPM Indie Music | January 2018 Favorites - Duration: 5:45.

Hey, Dreamers, it's me Kate and welcome to my January Favorites video.

So, the first thing on my January Favorites list

is this mason jar in ombre red with the Philippines on it

which I bought from Kultura at ₱49.50.

I just love the color red and it also makes me think

that I'm drinking some flavored stuff even though it only has water,

so that's definitely a plus.

As I'm already sitting on the couch,

let us instantly dive into my favorite shows for this month.

The first one would be FRIENDS.

I'm currently on the 9th season and absolutely love it.

I don't know, I guess I'm just a sucker for the classics.

Been watching this since the late of last year

and I'm just one and a half seasons away from its end.

I already miss it just by thinking that it's gonna end soon.

Another one would be this Netflix Original Series,

The End of the F***ing World.

I absolutely loved it.

It captures real adolescent angst.

Not really a handful to watch

because it's only a 20-something minuter per episode

and only has a total of eight episodes.

So, if you're looking for something fresh and beautiful, this is definitely it.

And lastly is the fourth and latest season of Black Mirror.

I talked about this in a previous favorites video,

blabbering on and on how completely genius the entire anthology is.

For this season, nothing has changed. It's still unbelievably brilliant.

I can't put into words how clever this series is,

you just have to see it for yourself.

Trust me, the future is now.

Book-wise, John Green's Turtles All The Way Down is a good read.

Very heartwarming, as expected from a John Green novel, duh?

I really don't want to spoil you with the details,

but I'm telling you, it's quite a ride!

For skincare, I have absolutely been loving

The Body Shop's Vanilla Chai Shower Gel

and The Body Shop's Vanilla Chai Exfoliating Sugar Body Scrub.

If you've been following me for quite some time now,

you probably know that I am super fond of anything vanilla,

and I just love this vanilla scent.

And I love that this lingers on the skin for a long time.

I can practically smell myself oozing with vanilla.

I just love it! 10/10, omaygad!

Bath related, I'm also loving this little scented candle

in Harvest scent from EGGS' Regalong Pambahay (Glorietta stall)

which I got for 250 pesos.

Yes, I know it's a bit pricey for something this small,

but I'm telling you, this fills up the room like, BAM!

And this actually lasts a long time

I usually light it up for five minutes every day and just leave it open

by the bedroom door because you can still smell it

as you walk in the room even when it's not lit,

that's how good it is.

And when I'm having a bath and I feel like lighting up candle,

this is definitely my go-to scented candle.

And if you're into scented candles like me,

then you should definitely try this, but I will recommend the Forest Rain scent

because that scent is the bomb.

Pork Meatloaf in Puff Pastry - Duration: 3:02.

500g/1lbs minced pork 100g/3.5oz pancetta (or fat ham) 2 tbsp olive oil 1 medium onion (± 100g/3.5oz) 100g/3.5oz of mushrooms 2 garlic cloves Chopped parsley to taste

1 slice of bread (± 50g/1.7oz) 1 apple (Reinette or other) 1 tbsp Dijon mustard (+ for brushing) 1 egg 1 rectangular puff pastry 1 egg yolk, for brushing salt and pepper to taste and: cling film parchment paper

You can use another minced meat that you like, including wild game, or a mixture of meats. The internal temperature of pork, to be eaten safely, must be at least 71º C. The puff pastry should not be too thin.

Pork Meatloaf in Puff Pastry

Sauté the chopped onion in olive oil

Add the chopped mushrooms

and cook until the water released by the mushrooms disappears

Add the chopped garlic and fry a little bit more

Remove from the heat and let it cool down

Peel and core the apple

and cut into cubes

Pour boiling water over the bread and let it soak and soften

Then drain it in a colander

and squeeze it with your hands to smash it and remove all the liquid

Mix the bread, apple and chopped parsley with the onion/garlic/mushroom mixture

Add the minced meat

Season with salt

pepper

beaten egg

mustard and mix everything together by hand

Lay two sheets of cling film over the worktop, side by side along the long edge, overlapping 5 cm/2in

This way you will have the width needed to wrap the roll

Place the meat over the cling film, shape a roll

wrap the roll in the cling film, tightening, especially the ends, to be sealed

Store in a refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

After that time, roll out the puff pastry , a bit larger than the roll

Place the pastry over cling film (two sheets also, overlapping a bit, side by side)

Place the roll, still wrapped in film, in the center of the pastry, next to you

and, with the back of a knife, mark the width of the roll

Brush the whole lenght with mustard, leaving the sides unbrushed

Place the pancetta (or thin slices of fat ham) over the mustard

Remove the cling film from the roll and place it over the pancetta

Wrap the roll in the pastry using the cling film to help you, tightening it at each turn

Note that the cling film does not go into the roll, it is just to help you wrap it

Close the ends, wrap the roll in the film used for the process

Seal and put it back in the refrigerator for another half hour at least, or until the dough gets harder.

After that time, remove the cling film and place the roll, with the junction facing down

in a baking tray lined with ungreased pachment paper

Make gentle incisions on the pastry with the back of a knife

brush with egg yolk (diluted in a few drops of water)

sprinkle with coarse salt

and cook in a preheated oven at 200º C/390º F for 45 to 50 minutes

or until the internal temperature reaches 71º C/160º F.

Once ready, remove from the oven, let it rest for 10 minutes and serve.
