Maryland Girl Writes Letter To Trump, Offers Him 'Amazing Opportunity' He Can't Pass
Up
A bold 11-year-old girl from Maryland wrote a letter to President Donald Trump, and she
presented him with an "amazing opportunity."
The offer was apparently too good for Trump to pass up, and now the girl is headed to
the White House to meet with him.

While the president is always inundated with letters, so much so that even his staff has
difficulty finding the time to read them all, one which he received from an 11-year-old
Maryland girl was particularly special.
Natalie took a big chance when she wrote to Trump.
After all, it was likely that she would never receive a response.
Trump is fighting ISIS, boosting the economy, creating jobs, and dealing with government
shutdowns — he doesn't exactly have time to answer many letters.
However, something about Natalie's message struck a chord with Trump.
Perhaps it was her brazen proposal.
Perhaps it was her self-confidence.
Perhaps her offer truly just sounded too good for the president to pass up.
At one of her daily media briefings last week, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee
Sanders let the public in on Natalie's thoughtful letter and the offer she made to President
Trump.
"Dear Mr. President," Sanders said, reading little Natalie's letter aloud to reporters.
"I'm Natalie and I'm 11-years-old, almost 12.
My cousin, Celia, who is 8-years-old and I have loved to cook since we practically were
born…
From the time we were very little, we've helped our Nona in the kitchen, therefore
we are very good cooks for little girls."
"The reason I am writing is to offer you an amazing opportunity," Natalie's letter
went on.
"We would love to cook for you and your family at your home or you're most welcome
to come to my house if you prefer.
It would be such an honor to make you a meal."
"We don't think you get many home-cooked meals since you're always so busy, and we
read that you only sleep four hours a night," continued the 11-year-old.
"Please, please call us and let us cook for you.
Love, Natalie."
Sanders' response, which came straight from the president himself, was something little
Natalie will surely never forget.
"Natalie, I'm happy to tell you that I talked to the president about your letter
this morning, and he and the first lady would like to take you up on your very kind offer,"
said Sanders.
"We have an amazing kitchen and culinary staff here at the White House, and the president
and the first lady would like for you to come over and work alongside them sometime very
soon," she added.
"Most importantly, he said to tell you to always believe in yourself and know that in
America, you can achieve anything through hard work, determination, and perseverance."
"And sometimes, you just have to take a chance and put yourself out there," said
Sanders.
"That's exactly what you did with your letter, and we're excited to meet you in
person soon."
This is not the first time that Sarah Sanders has taken time out of her daily press briefing
to read a letter from a young American.
In fact, it's becoming one of the Trump administration's most heart-warming traditions.
Donald Trump had to have loved this girl's gumption, offering the leader of the free
world the "amazing opportunity" to try some of her home cooking!
Perhaps he was able to identify with the 11-year-old because the pair shares the same unwavering
confidence in their God-given abilities, something which has taken Trump incredibly far in his
professional life, and which will undoubtedly serve Natalie well, too.
Heck, it's already gotten her invited to the White House for the once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity to cook
for the president!
