Youtube daily report w Feb 19 2018

Does being rich make you happy?

That's the billion-dollar question, but most experts on the matter agree that having

certain freedoms and securities that come with having lots of money does indeed improve

our feeling of well-being.

Psychologist Daniel Kahneman and economist Angus Deaton concluded that once you have

an income of over $75,000 a year, you won't necessarily get happier with even more cash,

because it's the safety net and opportunities afforded to people that really help maintain

some level of happiness.

A life of penury is often full of fears, set-backs, drudgery, and having to see all the time all

the things you can't have.

But then something called the Easterlin paradox tells us while rich folks are happier than

poor folks, rich countries are not necessarily happier than poor countries.

Today we'll explore this, in this episode of the Infographics Show, Why You Will Never

Be Rich.

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

So, what are your chances of becoming rich?

Before we answer that, we need to know how much money you need to be considered rich.

This is obviously relative to every country, but one would think if you have a million

dollars in your bank account, you can say you are rich.

However, it seems people don't always think this way.

In 2013, a report by investment bank UBS stated that only 28 percent of people with $1-$5

million thought they were rich.

Even more surprising was that only three out of five people with more than $5 million thought

they were rich.

The report focused on assets, not cash in hand.

Still, who would have thought with over five million bucks in assets, many people wouldn't

consider themselves rich.

It would be quite confusing to talk about relative wealth in every country, so let's

stick with the United States.

There we have the mega-rich, the 563 billionaires, but we also have a lot of just plain old rich.

As for millionaires in the country, a World Health report told us there were 4.8 million

of them in 2016.

Many of those may not consider themselves rich, but many of us would say they are doing

pretty well.

The U.S. Census Bureau states that median net worth of a 35-year-old in the USA is about

$35,000.

It goes up with age, and from 55-64 it's almost $150,000.

It peaks at 65-69 at just under $195,000.

We couldn't say these people are rich.

Even the top 10 percent might not be considered rich.

The Internal Revenue Service reports that the average household income for the top 10

percent of U.S. earners is $295,845.

For the top five percent, it's $350,870.

The average for the top one percent is well over one million dollars.

For argument's sake, let us say that if you are in that top five percent you are rich,

never mind what you think of yourself.

How hard is it to get into that bracket?

It's actually quite hard, given that money often begets money, and unfortunately breaking

out of poverty is no easy task.

There is an old saying that goes, "The rich get richer and the poor get poorer."

But what does this mean?

For starters, most people who earn the big money have a university education.

As you'll know from our other money-focused shows, many tech entrepreneurs drop out of

university, but most of them grew up in affluent families where they were afforded all kinds

of comforts and opportunities poor people are not.

In Malcolm Gladwell's book, "Outliers", he points out that there are no self-made

millionaires.

Most people were helped with luck on the way, and often this luck meant supportive parents,

good schooling, and having fostered in them that they can do anything they want.

You'll also know from watching our other shows that there is a direct affect on how

much money you have, to how far you go in education.

Statistics differ depending on what you read, but it's thought that around 30 percent

of Americans over the age of 25 have a bachelor's or master's degree.

The Atlantic tells us that more than 70 percent of those that went to the top universities

came from America's wealthiest families.

These guys will no doubt have no problems paying off their student debt, if they had

student debt.

In 2017, Forbes reported that the Class of 2016 had $37,172 in student loan debt.

If you are not from a wealthy family, then you are already struggling just when you get

going.

So, how do you get rich when you come from meagre beginnings, given that you might have

had only a basic education or that your education became a financial albatross around your head.

Still, back in 2012, a Gallup poll revealed that 28% of Americans expected to get rich

at a time in their lives.

That's positivity for you, but this is a country full of natural born American dreamers.

Many will be disappointed, especially if we realize that about 60 percent of American

wealth is inherited.

That means that those hoping to get into the five percent already have to contend with

those already in the five percent.

It seems they are not making much headway either.

An article in Evonomics tells us that "The rich are getting richer, faster."

At the same time, the poor and middle classes are not going anywhere fast.

"Because wealth begets more wealth, it's a self-perpetuating picture," said the economics

website.

Wealthy households usually hang on to their wealth, whereas less wealthy households face

all manner of dilemmas.

In 2017, CNBC wrote that the average American family owes $8,377, and that means you'll

be paying off interest on that.

Rich folks buy their goods outright for the most part, and so as a poor person you are

continually being faced with borrowing fees.

When you are struggling to pay for things outright, you are prey not only to lenders

but to the system.

Did any of you watch John Oliver on Last Week Tonight when he showed how many Americans

actually end up in jail for municipal violations.

That's right, when you can't pay a parking ticket, things can just pile up.

As Time magazine pointed out, when you are wealthy, a violation is no big deal, but when

you are poor "tickets can wreck your life."

For not paying immediately, additional fees arrive, and then if you can't pay the fine

you, could be locked up.

If you ever need a lawyer and you are poor, you won't be able to hire yourself someone

totally dedicated to you, which is one reason why rich people can get away with things.

We could say the same about medical treatment.

If you live hand to mouth and can't afford insurance, but need medical attention, that

bill could ruin your life.

Being sick could take all the money you'd saved to send your child to college.

Being sick, physically or mentally, could be on the cards given you might not be able

to afford nutritious, naturally grown foods for every meal.

Poor and sick in America is an endless money pit.

One health journal stated that in the USA, 38.2 percent of poor people are in "fair

or poor" health, compared to 12.3 percent of the affluent.

One millennial writing about how "screwed" his generation is, wrote in an article featured

on Highline, "My rent consumes nearly half my income, I haven't had a steady job since

Pluto was a planet and my savings are dwindling faster than the ice caps the baby boomers

melted."

This is a generation that is growing up when all the media is telling them the robots are

coming and automation will take all the jobs.

If you're rich, it's likely you'll find those niche jobs, or your family will own

the company that employs the robots.

This is a generation that has around 30 percent more student debt than its parents did, and

those are the ones fortunate enough to have gone to college.

People born in this generation are also half as likely as their parents ever to own a house.

The American Dream may just be a myth, as money doesn't always trickle down and swimming

upstream isn't as easy as people may have once thought.

Researchers at the University of Illinois found in 2015 that, "The United States is

faced with record levels of income inequality and one of the lowest rates of actual social

mobility among industrial nations."

It seems for the most part you are what you are born to be, and that means the rich stay

rich and most of you will not be part of that club.

Or, do you disagree?

Please let us know in the comments why you will be different and why you will definitely

be rich!

iPhone iOS 11 - Tips, Tricks and Secret Features ✔️ - Duration: 8:13.

Finally, the new iOS 11 is full of news.

Some of these news are simple to to perceive and others not so much.

In this video, I will teach you secret functions of the new iOS that will help

much in the daily use of your iPhone.

Okay okay

Okay okay

This is Junior, from JR TECH.

Let's go to Settings, scroll the page and click here on "Emergency SOS".

Now activate the "Auto Call" function.

This function works like this: If you, for any reason, is not in a position to

to use your cell phone, you or anyone else, press 5 times

the iPhone Power button, which he automatically calls the local police,

send a text message to your emergency contact, that something

Its not good.

Now with iOS 11 we can share our Wi-fi from home or work without the need

to pass our password on to other people.

It works like this: your guests must first click on the name of your Wi-Fi network and wait

the request to enter the password.

At the moment, instead of putting the password on their iPhone, it will appear on your

iPhone a Wi-Fi connection authorization.

Easy like that, you just accept it and that's it, they will already be connected.

Please remember that all cell phones must be with iOS version 11 and on the same Wi-Fi network.

If you're driving, do not use the iPhone.

Because of the large number of traffic due to improper use of the cell phone,

Apple has created a function to help us with this problem.

Let's go to Settings, and click here in "Do Not Disturb".

And select the "Do Not Disturb during the driving ".

By default, it is checked to activate manually, so to speak, to contribute

for a better world, select the automatically.

In this way, the GPS and the movement system, detects when we are driving and activates the

"Do Not Disturb" function automatically.

From then on, as far as we are driving, we will not be bothered by our iPhone

in any way.

But here, there is still a secret function.

"Do Not Disturb" mode is activated,

blocks all your contacts from contacting you.

What you can do if you want to authorize one or the other person will talk to you, even

when the Do Not Disturb mode is set to is as follows.

Open the Contacts App, select the contact in the question, and click here on the button

To edit.

Here a little lower in the option that select the ring type, click and activate

the "Emergency Bypass" option.

This contact can now communicate with you all the time.

Subscribe the JR TECH Channel.

Leave your questions and comments here.

Like the video and share with your friends.

This way you will be contributing to the creation of new videos.

Thank you!

The next function is very good for likes to read books and articles on the iPhone more

has a bit of difficulty with the excess light or with high contrast.

Let's go to Settings, now General, and then accessibility, now View accommodations,

and enter the Inverted Colors menu.

Here we have two similar options.

I recommend using the first option Inversion Smart for the following reason, activating

the Smart Inversion the background turns black and white text making it easier to read, and

all other colors on your phone are not changed.

They stay exactly as they are.

The second option Classic inversion, also leaves the background black and with the text

blank but changes all other colors your phone.

I will now teach you a simple shortcut to you turn this feature on and off

you need.

Right here in the Accessibility menu,

scroll down the page and enter the option,

Accessibility shortcut, and in here let

Smart Color Inversion.

Now it's very easy and fast!

Whenever you want, press 3 times

the Home button and check the Smart Flip option.

When you do not need it any more, do the same process, press the Home button 3 times

and uncheck Smart Reverse.

Now on iOS 11 we can move multiple Apps at once.

It is a very handy function for when you want to reorganize your applications.

First, click one of the apps that you want to move, and hold

enter edit mode.

Now, drag it a little with a finger, and with

another finger click on the other apps that will be re-leased.

Put them in their new position and remove the finger.

Very cool, right?

Another function that Apple has put as a secret

in iOS 11, is the manual screen brightness control.

I do not know if you noticed, control now, by default, is always automatic.

But if you like to regulate the brightness of the screen manually

here by the control center, do the following.

Go to settings, click here in General, now Accessibility, then Accommodations

the screen, and disable the automatic brightness control.

Another function that previously existed only macOS and now we can use it with iOS 11

is to save in pdf any page or article which we are seeing in the Safari browser.

With Safari open on the page in question, click here under the share button,

scrolling the options menu to the left we will find the save to PDF option now.

Okay okay guys

How many secrets revealed about the new iOS.

This is what I have for today.

I hope I have helped.

Thank you very much and see you next time.

to drive her wild but I will tell you that I think it's important that you touch a girl in

spots that are sensitive. So maybe where the skin is a little more delicate,

where she has really smooth skin,

places where she's not gonna be super self-conscious about you touching her and

places that are generally considered to be more gentle sensitive spots.

And that's it.

I think he just left me.

The place that I'm talking about is this section of her neck right here

and here's the best part about this section; it's got multiple sensitive

spots but it's happening all around this area. You see this section of the neck

right here? This is where it's the most sensitive. Here I'm outlining it so

you can see exactly the section that I'm talking about. It kind of goes all the

way to her jawline and then down to her collarbone and then right where her hair

kind of lands and then towards the center of her neck. This is a great place

to focus? Why the neck? Well the neck is a very sensitive spot because the neck is

filled with lots of nerve endings. This is definitely a spot that's gonna

capture a girl's attention when you are paying attention to it. I'm gonna give you a

few examples of what you can do to be able to access that part. Three things

you can do to access that part of her neck and no you don't even have to be

seriously dating her. This can be something that you can do when you first

meet her in the initial interaction. It could be something you could do on the

very first date. One example is if she shows

up on a date or you can do this actually when you first meet her and you guys are

talking for like 10-15 minutes is now Brittany's going to be my model here.

If she's wearing a necklace (I know Brittany's not wearing a necklace) but if

she's wearing a necklace what you can do is just go and touch the necklace ever

so lightly so that your fingertips are gonna be touching her neck just in

result of touching her necklace and just say it's really a nice necklace and then

move on to the rest of the conversation just kind of interrupting just say that

really quickly and then you're gonna get access to her neck and that's gonna make

her tingle a little bit. Here's another one you ready for another one

yep okay so this is probably more for if you're on a first date or Brittany can

chime in here and maybe she can say a few words if she has any ideas but the

idea here is is the hair so her hair is right here and you're just kind of

brushing her hair back behind her neck and as you're doing it as we're doing it

you're just kind of touching her neck just like that I'm doing it a little bit

slow you can do a little faster than so it's not so obvious but you're just

kind of going like this I said it's probably a good thing to do right before

a kiss hey what else would you feel that be comfortable to do something like that

I think yeah if you're getting close to a girl you know and kind of like about

to kiss I think that's a comfortable time to do something like that

otherwise I wouldn't do that in the first interaction unless she's like okay

so right now we're in the middle of you can see over the middle of darkness

right now and so something just kind of like scraped against our legs and we're

like what is that furry thing

coming off of a conversation where we talk about everything here has rabies

yeah it probably doesn't but it's pretty freaky if it happens to bite us what was

that no I know that's what you're thinking

the cat the cat just glided on my calf just be in the exact way that you should

be going like this so gentle and so nice right but when you do to a girl

hopefully she's not as scared if we just work okay something I want to add here

you actually can do this when you first meet a girl because we were talking

about this earlier what you can do is when you're talking to her and you're in

a loud setting car coming to be continued game on alright so when you

are in a setting that's very loud a nightclub a bar wherever a party and you

guys been talking for a little bit and you gain a little bit of rapport which

means you've got a little bit of a connection going you can do this move

very very subtly very quickly well as you're doing it you're going in to talk

to her in her ear for the reason being that she needs to hear you so it's a

very like one fell swoop kind of move is like going like this and then whispering

in her ear but you're not whispering you're just talking her so she can hear

you in the loud environment

so welcome back to our hotel guest house whatever you want to call it this had a

lovely Valentine's Day dinner at the sushi place local sushi place where the

tuna was oh so fresh I hear some fireworks and tomorrow it's gonna be

having some more fun and Marisa

hope you're following along and don't forget if you are successful with your

interactions with women and you find yourself

connecting with her more and more because you are using some of these

techniques then go to the description down below and get the seven deadly text

messages that she can't resist so you can get her number and then meet up with

her at any given time so go get that Britney walks into this store this says

the guy can eat chocolate now look at her looking for that chocolate I don't

know Chuck a puss did you learn anything from today's video it's that women love

their necks being touched in chocolate so this one was kind of short and sweet

but I think you get the point I think you know what to do I think you get the

concept so happy Valentine's Day even know

to see this more like a week later and

say bye

Reality Transurfing Secrets: 3 Ways to Decrease Importance to Attract What You Want - Duration: 13:40.

And this video will show you three ways to decrease importance in order to attract what

you want I'm going to share with you three ways to go about this so that it's easy so

that you really get what you want in life.

Welcome

back to another video.

My name's Aaron and I hope people expand their consciousness on this video.

I'm going to be sharing with you what are called Tranh surfing secrets.

Now there's a book that came out that's called trans surfing it's called reality transferring.

It

was originally written in Russian by a quantum physicist over in Russia.

Now it's been translated to a whole bunch of languages.

It's got some deep metaphysical type information that I think is absolutely transformative.

What I'm going to be doing on this YouTube channel is sharing some of that information

and breaking it down into bite sized chunks that I think we can really understand and

how to think about it in a new way.

The whole law of attraction process the whole reality creation process and how when we change

the way we think about it everything begins to change.

Now the principles are actually built on simplicity now decreasing importance is a secret to the

whole process of manifestation in general.

Now normally they say that in a lot of law of attraction teachings that desire is something

that is so good because when we desire it we have to have a white hot burning desire

which is back in the day I think was very relevant.

I think it can still work.

Now understand that the fundamental basis what ever we believe to be true will turn

out to be a self-fulfilling prophecy.

So if we are focused and the process that we think about the law of attraction when

it comes to having a desire what happens is that will become something as true for us.

But what I'm saying is there are more efficient ways to go about it and reality Transurban

is one of those.

And what I'm saying today I would encourage you to try for yourself don't just take my

word for it.

I read this book.

I was you know kind of going through it I thought the ideas were cool.

I said let me try this in my own life.

And then I saw amazing results.

Now I'm sharing it on my YouTube channel.

So try it out for yourself see if it works for you.

But the idea behind decreasing importance is that when we do that we close that gap

of us being able to experience what we want.

Now think about it if you have and you put someone on a pedestal maybe somebody that

you have a crush on and you put this person on a pedestal what happens is the moment you

make them more important than they really are.

What happens is then they start to distance themselves from you.

You'll feel it almost as if it's just happening now.

The idea behind this is that the way the energy in the world works is that there is always

balancing factors coming into play and if you give something excess meaning or excess

importance what happens is you create what is called excess potential and then these

forces come into play to balance out that energy.

So you may notice that if you really desire something to happen you feel almost desperate

for it to happen that it feels like it's almost not going to or things happen to where it

just doesn't.

And that's simply because that was that balancing force that was coming into play to make it

so that it was more of a balanced type energy.

So that's the idea behind decrease in importance when we decrease importance.

Amazing things can happen if you take your goals you have an intention for your goals

but you make it not the most important thing in the world you see it as a natural part

of who you are.

For you to attain those goals it will become so much easier for you to accomplish them.

That's what I've been realizing that's one of the most powerful points that I've learned

from reality TV and surfing.

And now let's get to the three things we can do to decrease the importance.

I had to first off explain that otherwise it's like why would I want to decrease importance.

Now the first one has to do with making sure it's in alignment with the self image that

we have.

Now think about it if I view myself as somebody that's not worthy of having something in my

life but I'm intending for something to happen and it's something that's all the way up here

because it's so important I create resistance in the present moment and I can't actually

see it.

Now let me give you an example of this.

I remember that I was assuming that with our channel this channel hit 100000 subscribers

on YouTube that it was going to be this feeling it was like it was like this feeling of confidence

or this feeling of like it was that I was definitely grateful when it happened I was

very excited when it happened but I thought I was going to be like this really extravagant

feeling like everywhere I walk I just and feel totally different about myself.

Now this is the funny thing is I remember I went to bed one night as a 98 thousand subscribers

and I woke up the next morning I was at 101.

So 3000 subscribers overnight because a video was starting to go viral.

Now what happened was I realized that after about a couple of hours of feeling like yes

we hit our goal of 100000.

These daily videos have been paying off.

They put so much work into it trying to help so many people you know with the law of attraction

understand more about who they are.

It feels so great.

But this is the thing.

After that what happens the mind kicks in it says OK now let's up the ante.

How about 200000 subscribers how about hundred 50000 subscribers how about 250000.

That's how the mind works.

So because of that it's almost like we're always having like a carrot on the stick there's

always just a little bit further to go.

But the key to this is to understand that that goal is just a part of who I am.

That goal is a part of my self.

Right.

Like that something is natural for me to accomplish because I'm doing my passion.

Now also remember this when it comes to your passions and this is also talked about in

the book Reality transferring that your goals many times maybe in a lot of people's goals

in general are kind of in a way misguided because people are focused on the means rather

than the end.

So what I mean by this is you might have a goal and you might think that your passion

is to hit you know to make a million dollars.

Right.

But that's not really a goal in itself you see.

We have to align our head to our heart and our heart doesn't understand a million dollars

because the million dollars is a side effect of something that we provide for other people

even if that something is just passion even if it's just any emotion.

But the idea is that because we're focused on something that isn't really a goal in itself

that the heart can understand we don't actually experience more of that.

So part of your self-image make that understanding that your passion is the fuel and the side

effect of that is the money that comes with that is the freedom that comes with that when

you change these ideas around.

I promise you it can change just about everything in the experience because now you're relating

to it in a completely new way.

So realize that when you change your self-image everything begins to change.

And as you see it's just natural for you to accomplish what you want.

If it's a relationship you don't have in your life it's just natural for you to meet people

that resonate with you to start to put yourself out there.

It's natural for you.

And because of that you loosen that gap between the importance you're giving things and it's

just something that flows more so than anything else.

Now.

The second way that we can decrease importance is by simply changing the Y that we want something.

Now the why is always more powerful than the what.

And when we get to the core of why we want something we become aware of the hidden intentions

that might be under it.

So maybe you have an intention to be good.

For example just using that get to a relationship or meet somebody that you connect with.

Now ask yourself why you want this now if what comes up is that you think that why you

want to and you realize that maybe you just want to feel validated by someone else like

maybe you're not consciously going to think that right away but if you do some digging

you may say you know what.

I just feel more validated when I'm around other people.

Well what happens is the importance then is put on a kind of a pedestal because what's

happening is you're attaining part of who you are with attachment to somebody else and

having somebody else because of your self-worth.

But if you start to become aware of what that is that's where the power is and the power

of all of reality transferring and really just in general is what this channel is about

is expanding awareness become aware of whatever those beliefs are and if a belief says I need

to be in a relationship because it increases my self worth.

And if you can dig down and see that that's where the belief may be coming from you can

start to change the lie and when you change the why.

All of the energy changes.

Now let me give an example of that.

What you do is instead of having a wife because you know you'll feel more validated or you

feel lonely and you don't want to be there right now instead of that is part of the natural

process of who you are and you want to share your energy with someone else.

You want to have somebody there to bounce ideas back and forth.

That's why you want to spend your time with someone that you love to be around.

You want to have that creativity that you and somebody else you see when you change

those all aspects and you can go deeper you know depending on what your desires are.

But when you go deeper into that aspect that's when you start to become more aware of what

the Y is.

And as you just sit down you can write down on a piece of paper why you want what you

want if you want a million dollars.

Why is that.

Why do you believe that a million dollars will get you what you want when really the

goal should be the passion for what will bring the million dollars.

Maybe it's creating content on YouTube.

Maybe it is you drawing and being an artist.

Maybe it is you doing in running the company or being a manager or whatever it is.

Just be aware of what that is but realize that the goal is not the money.

The goal is more so than passion but become aware of why you want that.

And then you can change around the Y and realize you can make the Y something that's much more

relatable something that's much easier to connect to.

Now the third way to decrease importance is it has to do with taking action.

Now this also has to do with desire desire is something that in reality trans surfing

is not powerful in itself.

Now desire can many times lead to intention and tension is the sweet spot intention is

where everything is that you want to create when you create intention in your life.

You are choosing your life experience.

Now the idea behind this is that if I have and I've used this analogy many times but

it's easy to kind of get the point across.

If I have the desire right now to lift up my arm the designer does absolutely nothing.

Only with that desire is then chosen to be an intention I say you know what I'm going

to intend I'm going to choose to put my hand up right now.

Then it becomes something that is translated into something as powerful a desire in itself

is not powerful.

Now the best way to dissolve desire is to either decrease importance which is what we're

talking about or to take action because when you take action you dissipate that excess

potential.

So that excess potential exists when any time we make something more important than it really

is or any time that we are desiring something we don't already have.

So this also makes you change the process a little bit.

Now imagine this imagine instead of wanting to attract something over there into your

life imagine that it was a part of a larger purpose for that thing to attract you as well.

So.

It could be if you're tracking a specific person or a general type person whatever it

is you have an intention to do so and what you can also assume is that it's also part

of like a divine order that the other person meets you as well.

It's almost part of a larger intention for that person to be attracting you.

So then you change the script a little bit because any time we try to attract something

from over there to be here what happens is we assume that it's separate from us when

really there is something called unity consciousness which which everything is a reflection of

who we are so that's a different topic that's a deeper type idea.

But nonetheless if you want to dissipate that excess potential what you can do is start

to take action just simply take action because when you do that you dissipate that excess

potential and you make it much more likely that you can really experience what you want.

Now to help you raise your vibrational setpoint that's something I think is so powerful because

the reality creation process or creating who want when we create from a higher point of

view or a higher paradigm things happen much easier.

That's why I'm sharing reality Transurban with you because I think it's a higher level

paradigm that even though may require some work when you learn how to do it it changes

everything it changes your energy and it changes how you feel now that's why I've created a

free guided meditation that will help you raise your vibrational set point.

This is a newer meditation that have created a little bit different from my reprogram your

subconscious mind one but nonetheless I think is very powerful.

You can download it for absolutely free.

It's going to be in the description box below and that will help you to create from a higher

level paradigm.

So remember that all you have to do to decrease importance is to first off see it as part

of your self image.

It as natural for you to achieve your goals.

Remember that your goals are not specifically to get a certain type of money being a certain

type of relationship.

Your goals really are to express yourself 100 percent to be passionate about what you

do and then as you do that the side effect is the money.

The side effect is their relationship.

The side effect is whatever else you want to create in your life that as you do that

which you can then decide if you're going to change the why you want things and if you

have something that you're given excess meaning to excess potential you can change the Y to

something that's more grounded than something that resonates more and then beyond that.

If you find your having too much desire you can dissipate that desire by taking action

and understanding that as you do that you are embodying who you prefer to be and everything

begins to change.

So.

With that being said I hope you guys enjoy this video.

reaching a hundred subscribers you know throughout my college life I've been

working on films my film club and some freelancing stuff but I realized what I

really enjoy is making YouTube videos for you guys so for today for my a hundred

subscribers special my friend and I are gonna react to my old videos so this is

my friend here will what which one do you want to watch this one is probably

one of the most cringe one. This video is from five years ago

oh my gosh. Five years ago I really like four years ago. It's not focused the

thing is. You were wearing that shirt yesterday! I literally had that shirt

I don't know why but I thought it was a good idea to green screen and

wear a green shirt

I am a human being

He or she, why did I say he or she?

at that time I was being gender

neutral you know so I was trying to respect other people it's all about the

respect you changed your haircut no really yeah cause that look like a buzz cut I mean the thing is my dad

always cut my hair but now like I don't really like to cut my hair here's an

example

I don't know why I put subtitles on the top section

I guess so that people understand you

they ask you how you are you just have to say that you're fine and you're not

really fine you just can't get into it because they would never understand oh

yeah I think actually yeah the background is I used to like this girl

but then since I moved to Florida I was like I don't know what to do so it was

like oh yeah I have acne do you know any like help or solution and then she's

like put oatmeal in your faces yeah the audio quality is not that great yeah

but I mean from from that time that's like that's all I had there's a webcam

yeah it's a webcam I think it's actually that webcam

Have you not eaten oatmeal before?

no I don't really eat oatmeal

I'm a cereal guy but now I'm an egg guy

Egg guy yeah I become Dom because Dom eats like two eggs everyday

don't answer that no one is gonna answer that

this is a better camera nice I think it's the t3i Dang let's look at Stars

house with the pan the pan why is it crooked? Gotta show all those movements everywhere I go this

is my old house I don't know why I thought it was a good this was a good

idea but the idea I still have. So I was like I gotta go upstairs with him right

but I don't have another person manning the camera so I can't really show us

going upstairs

that white noise

I feel like you like green screens a lot

I just had a green screen in the room next to my bedroom, cause we don't use the other room

So then I just use green screens for my video

What? I don't know. Did you go for shock factor?

It's like I hate everyone~

As you can see I improved a lot

we haven't seen what you've done after

mean they can just go back to my channel and sure that's it for this week's video

thanks for watching bye

Disc Dog Training Vault Tricks - Duration: 4:44.

- Do you know what a Pluto Platter is?

That's actually the original name for a Frisbee,

before the company Wham-O

(bell dings) changed the name

of the product from Pluto Platter to Frisbee.

And now, Frisbee's just become the generic term you use

anytime you see a flying toy disc.

I'm gonna start calling it a Pluto Platter, though,

because every time I say that,

people are gonna say, what's a Pluto Platter?

And I can tell them, well actually,

a Pluto Platter was the original name for a,

it's also really fun to say.

I have something really cool

I wanna share with you guys today.

And today I am joined by Instructor Carol,

who's just getting her dogs ready here.

She is one of our instructors,

she's actually about to teach a grade two class.

But she is also a four-time world champion of Disc Dog.

And she's offered to show you guys today

a really cool trick that she calls push to a chest vault.

I'm Ken Steepe, this is Instructor Carol.

Welcome back to McCann Dogs.

(acoustic guitar strumming)

(dog barks)

- Hi, Ken.

This is Thorpe.

I'm gonna demo a push off my body.

It can be used with or without a disc as a trick.

Or leading up to a chest vault.

So, Thorpe is gonna demo push,

(dog barks)

and come down on my back,

or off my front.

Now I'm gonna show you how to teach this

with a newer dog that's gonna move just a little bit slower.

This is The Berk.

He's fairly new to Disc Dog, still learning.

I'm gonna demo the push, but actually

turning it into a chest vault.

This is reasonably new for him.

Ready?

Push.

Good boy buddy, good one.

This is the method that I used with The Berk.

Like any dog training, there is many means to an end.

What I did with The Berk that worked very well

was just getting him comfortable jumping up.

So, all I did is I had him jump up,

and I said, yes, good.

Try it again.

Yes, good.

Ready?

(dog whines)

Yes, good.

And I do it at a bit of an angle forward.

So that he is getting comfortable.

Jump.

Yes.

And when he's comfortable,

and if your dog's a little nervous with that,

I can just reward him initially

for just putting two feet up.

I'll give him lots of treats.

Okay, buddy.

And I might even just two feet up,

I can reward there,

and then I could get it, and throw another treat out.

I don't have to start close to finished product.

When he's getting good at that,

that may take a few days, may take a few weeks

depending on the confidence of your dog.

I could now try it a little more vertical.

Are you ready?

Push.

Yeah, that's good.

So you can see he stalls a little bit there,

but my treat helps him finish it off.

Push.

Yes.

Good boy.

And when he's getting the hang of it,

that's when I start to put my command on it.

Push.

Yes.

And you can see him building confidence just there.

Push.

Yes get it, buddy.

Good work.

Now I can try maybe moving my chair a little bit away.

Are you ready?

I'm still gonna bend down a little bit.

Ready?

Push.

Yes.

Good boy.

You missed it that time, buddy.

Ready?

Push.

Good boy.

And I can use that hand to indicate,

give him a little bit of a signal of what it is I want.

Ready?

Push.

Good boy.

You get that.

So I'm all set up for my shot.

You can tell The Berk is pretty excited about this.

He's very focused.

But he's not gonna go till I ask him.

If he started, I'm gonna stop him.

It's important he not just jump on me, and knock me over.

Ready?

Push.

Good boy.

Very nice.

Out!

Good boy.

Also important that he gives up the disc.

Good boy.

So that's my method of teaching the push.

Again, many methods.

Just to recap the key points.

I start out as low as I need to,

to build my dog's confidence.

I'll even reward two feet up.

I'll reward jumping on my lap.

And then I'll start shaping that,

that they'll jump on me and off me.

Once they're loving that, I'm gonna start

to build a little more height,

standing up a little bit.

May not get rid of my chair right away.

Then I'm gonna work to a point where

I'm away from a chair, but maybe a little low,

to a full one, to if I want, I can add that disc.

Ready, up.

Good work.

- Now Instructor Carol is not only

one of our obedience instructors,

but she is also a four-time world champion of Disc Dog.

And she is going to be, we're gonna be

doing a series of these videos.

So if you are a fan of Disc Dog tricks,

of playing disc with your dog,

then make sure you hit that subscribe button.

We publish videos every single week,

to help you spend some quality time

with your four-legged family member.

You see that video beside me?

That's actually a video about a world champion Disc Dog,

who is discovered to be totally deaf.

And I think you're gonna enjoy it.

On that note, I'm Ken.

Happy training.

what's up guys matt from filmora here so do you ever film on your phone and

whenever you edited it it looks like this well if you're like me and you

don't like the look of portrait video or you don't want the black bars for a more

professional look let me show you a couple different solutions to convert

portrait videos to landscape I'm going to be using filmora for this tutorial

because it's my favorite editing program if you don't have filmora then you can

try yours free by clicking on the link here or in the description box below I'm

gonna give you five seconds to download it and I'm gonna grab my coffee in the

mean time all right now let's begin

cropping is a common way to convert portrait videos to landscape format if

you choose this method then be warned you're gonna lose around two-thirds of

the shot and some image quality after you have open filmora and your footage

is uploaded drag and drop the portrait clip to the timeline once you have

placed the clip on the timeline you'll be able to see black bars on both sides

of the video in the preview window right-click on the video clip and select

the crop and zoom option once the new window appears on your screen you'll see

five different cropping options manual 16 by 9 4 by 3 1 by 1 and 9 by 16 the

cropping option you pick should match what your project is setup for this

project it's 16 by 9 so let's pick that one the image on the right of the

preview window will show you how your footage will look like after you crop it

use this window to frame the crop image hit OK when you're happy with your frame

if you would like to keep the image quality of your video clip then we're

gonna create a blurred background for your vertically oriented video this

option still keeps your footage in portrait mode but the black bars on the

side will be replaced with a blurred image head over to the filters menu and

you can search for the blur effect you want to use filters like blur bars basic

blur rings or diamonds can be used effectively to cover the black bars in

your vertically oriented video click on the effect to see how it looks like when

apply to your video clip drag and drop the effect you like the most to the

editors picture and picture track and adjust its duration so it fits the

duration of the video this puts your video as a blurred image where the black

bars used to be this look is often used for online videos being broadcasted on

TV sports highlights and many YouTube videos alright guys so that's how you

convert portrait videos to landscape hope this video helps don't forget to

Like comment and subscribe on this video and we'll see you next time

BIG Problems We Still Haven't Figured Out! - Duration: 11:55.

In no particular order, here are some big problems we don't really think about!

8 - Short attention spans A Microsoft consumer study claims that the

human attention span is getting shorter!

Researchers in 2015 found that people generally lose concentration after around 8 seconds,

down from 12 seconds when the same study was done in 2000.

Guess what the attention span is for a Goldfish?.........9 seconds.

Yeahhhhh.

Researchers in Canada surveyed participants and studied the brain activity by using electroencephalograms.

There are quite a few people out there opposing the study, but numbers don't lie!

It's just a fact that we simply can't hold our attention down nowadays!

It seems like we've adapted our attention span to this new mass flow of information.

We had to figure out how to deal with the constant bombardment of information, so we

shortened our attention span from 12 seconds down to 8 seconds to help us, prioritize,

and consume information quickly and efficiently.

Ahhhhh, but there's a twist!

In 2017, BBC decided to look deeper into the research.

Essentially, they weren't able to find any actual records that backed up the stats!

Maybe the Microsoft study was just fake news.

However, even if there isn't scientific evidence to back up the evidence of shortening

attention spans, what we can say for certain is that there are a LOT more people constantly

checking their phones for notifications.

And this may be taking its toll.

Is it just me, or does it seem like people are just itching to check out what's new

on Instagram or facebook all the time?!

7 - Electric car batteries The drive to replace pollution causing gasoline

and diesel cars with a new breed of electric vehicles has gathered much momentum.

Who hasn't noticed all the new Teslas out there today?

But there's an unanswered environmental question at the heart of the electric car

movement: what on earth are we supposed to do with the half-ton lithium-ion batteries

once these cars are done on the road?

The number of electric cars in the world passed the 2 million mark in 2017, and the International

Energy Agency estimates that there'll be 140 million electric cars globally by 2030

if countries meet Paris climate agreement targets.

This electric vehicle boom could leave 11 million tons of spent lithium-ion batteries

in need of recycling between now and 2030!

In the EU, as few as 5% of lithium-ion batteries are recycled.

This has an environmental cost.

Batteries carry a risk of giving off toxic gases if they're damaged.

There just may not be a business model in recycling these electric batteries.

The materials in a lithium-ion battery pack are relatively inexpensive, and even with

technological breakthroughs, it's estimated that only 20 percent of the cost of recycling

could be recouped by selling the recovered materials.

The answer might lie in re-using batteries rather than recycling car batteries.

Car batteries can still have up to 70% of their capacity when they stop being good enough

to power electric vehicles, making them perfect for functions such as home energy storage.

6 - Too Much Chair There's one devious evil that modern society

exposes us to.

It's associated with a 18 percent increased risk of heart disease, 17 percent increased

risk of cancer and 91 percent increased risk of getting Type 2 diabetes.

What exactly is the evil that I'm talking about?

It's called sitting!

And we're doing farrrr too much of it.

The idea that sitting is harmful seems pretty ridiculous at first thought right?!

Sitting is a default human body posture – or is it??

Actually, no aspect of the human musculature is naturally supportive of sitting.

Sitting essentially came about because of the modern civilization we've built, and

worse, there's almost no escaping it!

We now sit longer than ever before, with the average office worker sitting up to 15 hours

a day!

I actually just stood up right now!

Your everyday non-exercise activities, such as standing, walking and even fidgeting, still

burn calories.

This energy expenditure is known as non-exercise activity thermogenesis or NEAT for you acronym

lovers out there.

The lack of NEAT is a big and important risk factor for weight gain!

Sedentary behavior, such as sitting or lying down, severely limits the calories you burn

through NEAT, and is the cause of weight gain for many people!

Are you trying to lose fat or keep it offt?

Don't be sitting all the time!

If you have no choice but to sit for work, then obviously make sure you get some physical

activity throughout the day, such as just walking around the office.

And don't forget the essential, which is hitting the gym!

5 - Fertility rates Initially, reduced child dependency rates

were actually beneficial to economic growth.

By delaying childbirth, men and women could start an education and start their careers

before having families, while paying more in income taxes and enjoying the benefits

of having more money.

Increased spending power creates demand, which stimulates job growth – and the economy

benefits in the short-term.

But long term?

There's a problem.

Worldwide fertility rates began to fall substantially in the mid-1960s.

While each country has its own underlying causes for this, it's interesting that in

developed and developing nations, the downward trend is similar.

So here we are in the 21st century, with the global total fertility rate at just 2.36 births

per woman – roughly half what it was around 50 years ago.

If the world has too many elderly dependents and not enough workers, the burden on economic

growth will be difficult to overcome.

We're beginning to see a substantial imbalance in the ratio of elderly dependents to working-age

people, which will only intensify over the coming decades.

By 2100, the U.N. predicts that nearly 30% of the population will be made of people 60

years and older.

Life expectancy also continues to increase steadily, which means those dependents will

be living even longer.

Health care costs for the elderly will strain resources, while the smaller working population

will struggle to produce enough income tax revenue to support these rising costs.

It's likely this will cause spending power to decrease, consumerism to decline, job production

to slow, and the economy to stagnate.

4 - Bees Did you guys know that Bees are actually disappearing?

Colony Collapse Disorder, or CCD, is the phenomenon that occurs when the majority of worker bees

in a colony disappear and leave behind a queen.

Well…..at least supposedly they leave plenty of food and a few nurse bees to care for the

remaining immature bees and the queen.

But really, the question is, where would we be without bees?

As far as important species go, they're on top of the list!

Bees are essential to pollination.

They pollinate 70 of the roughly 100 crop species that feed NINETY PERCENT of the world.

In the last half decade alone, 30% of the national bee population has disappeared and

nearly a third of all bee colonies in the U.S. are gone.

The estimated monetary loss is a colossal 30 billion dollars a year!

We're losing bees at an alarming rate.

Possible reasons include the loss of flower meadows, the crab-like parasitic Varroa mites,

and the use of certain pesticides.

Another probable factor in the US is the widespread practice of feeding bee colonies on industrialized

bee farms with high fructose corn syrup instead of its natural self-made food honey.

We may start losing the plants that bees pollinate, the animals that eat those plants, and so

on up the food chain.

A world without bees is going to struggle to sustain the growing global human population

of 7.6 billion people!

3 - Human population No species has altered Earth's natural landscape

the way that we have.

Our growing population, coupled with rising affluence and per capita impact, is driving

our planet closer to its tipping point.

With population expected to reach nine and a half billion people by 2050, our planet

doesn't have the biocapacity to sustain our current levels of growth and resource

consumption!

One way to address the challenges associated with future projections is to look at current

human impact on the planet.

We have to look at our ecological footprint.

Ecological footprint tracks how much biological capacity there is and how much biocapacity

people use.

Essentially it's looking at the rate at which we consume natural resources and generate

waste to our planet's ability to replenish those resources and absorb waste.

Today, our global footprint is way over what mother nature can replenish!

Mother nature would need to replenish resources 1.6 times faster to sustain our current population.

If current trends continue, mother nature would need to replenish 3 times as fast by

the year 2050!

2 - Bird strikes Each year, bird strikes cost airlines worldwide

an estimated $1.2 BILLION dollars.

Of course, as you can imagine, only a part of those costs are from the actual damage.

The rest comes from flight delays and cancellations.

A single bird is rarely dangerous, but multiple bird strikes or hitting large birds such as

Canada Geese, can cause serious accidents.

Engines are actually designed to withstand at least one bird.

In case you're actually getting really worried, pilots can still fly a plane with just one

operating engine.

As far as no operating engine…..yeah.

Don't worry, the chances of an accident are still slim.

Between 1990-2015 there were 160,894 bird strikes on US aircraft.

Only a tiny percentage of those strikes resulted in an accident, .025 percent to be exact,

which translates to 40 accidents.

The vast majority of bird strike incidents take place during take-off and landing, although

birds have been occasionally hit at higher altitudes.

Aircrafts are designed and built to withstand bird strikes and pilots undergo rigorous training

to enable them to deal with the eventual nature of a bird strike.

The most notable recent example of a serious bird strike was 2009's US Airways Flight 1549,

dubbed the "Miracle on the Hudson".

The plane had just taken off and was travelling at roughly 250 miles per hour when the plane

encountered a flock of Canada geese.

The birds, travelling at about 50mph, were sucked into both of the plane's engines,

which flamed out and failed immediately.

Barely minutes after taking off, the plane had to do an emergency landing on the Hudson

river.

1 - Overfishing Overfishing occurs when more fish are caught

than the population can replace through natural reproduction.

Gathering as much fish as possible may seem like a profitable practice, but overfishing

isn't sustainable and has serious consequences.

The results not only affect the balance of life in the oceans, but also the social and

economic well-being of the coastal communities who depend on fishing for their way of life.

Increased fishing efforts over the last 50 years as well as unsustainable fishing practices

are pushing many fish stocks to the point of collapse.

More than 30 percent of the world's fisheries have been pushed beyond their limits and are

in need of strict management plans to restore their stock.

Several important commercial fish populations, such as bluefin tuna, have declined to the

point where their survival as a species is threatened.

Fishing for specific top predators, such as tuna and grouper, is changing marine communities.

This leads to an abundance of smaller marine species, such as sardines

and anchovies.

1.LS³D-Let's Share/Stock/Sell Death-(2000-2002) - Duration: 1:56.

(LSD-Nothing Left to Lose, 2000)

The space includes 2 paintings, a staircase that allows the viewer to go up and 2 monitors .

The painting above is an abstract treatment that simulates the immediate view of standing on the edge of a tall building. And a motor is installed behind the painting , so the paintings continue to rotate.

And the 2 monitors displayed the viewer's real-time image shot from bottom-up.

In the seemingly sweet but oppressive space, the audience experienced the next unknown step of fear and dizziness, the work tries to convey the experience of "sharing" dying conditions

(LSD-Anti-jump, 2001)

I tryied to add music element to the video installation and use the skill of image feedback to stack the constantly jumping image of a young man wearing jeans.

The feedback of self-images stacked an infinite loop (a metaphor for the imitation effect which television media caused, and dished out interesting questions about imitating objects / chronological/causal...)

In the infinite image loop, the images of upright and upside-down rotation represent not only contradictions in the spirit of rebellion, which everyone tries to be different from the other but ironically, the result of stacking still become resemble, but also metaphors of "stacking" dying status.

Through the jumping television in the installation, if the audience wants to see the image clearly, they have to jump.

The first layer in the video is opposite, which reminds the audience that they are "the real first layer" in the loop.

Music is reversed during the post-production, which lyrics is not recognizable, representing the blindness of the audience in the human-made popular status is a cross-cultural phenomenon.

(LS³D in Chaos, 2002)

The graduation project recorded a series of photos of smoking standing on the edge of tall buildings,

Then I made seven styles of pills-shape packed band T-shirt and marked different price, displayed and sold them in a famous punk culture clothing store "Chaos" in Taipei,

I used the amount of cigarettes smoked in different images to represent the price of clothes, symbolizing the "sale" of dying

By imitating the form of commodities and exhibition sites, put forward the critique of the rock / punk spirit was incorporated into the popular culture system.

The eco-rebels who beat the French state: Inside la ZAD (trailer) - Duration: 1:12.

It's hard to imagine that an airport could have been built here.

There are so many young people here, so many projects.

I'm here to bring back the commune.

To fight against the airport,

because the project of the airport

is directly connected to capitalism.

As the people behind the airport project

wouldn't listen to our arguments,

the only solution was to illegally occupy the territory.

Wow! I've just discovered paradise,

and then blue people came.
