JUST IN: Justice Has Prevailed In Arizona! 'Dreamers' Just Stripped Of Their Favorite Freebie. - Duration: 6:18.

JUST IN: Justice Has Prevailed In Arizona!

'Dreamers' Just Stripped Of Their Favorite Freebie.

In a stunning win for the rule of law and our nation's sovereignty, the Arizona Supreme

Court upheld a lower court's ruling that illegal immigrant students are ineligible

for in-state tuition.

This ruling, which is being hailed as a huge blow for immigration activists in Arizona,

affects over 2,000 undocumented immigrants who attend state and community colleges in

Arizona and pay in-state tuition while doing so.

In-state students at Arizona State University will pay $9,834 for tuition next school year,

while non-resident students pay $27,618 and residents pay $86 per credit hour at the Maricopa

Community Colleges, compared with $241 for non-residents.

But so-called Dreamers may be able to take advantage of a rule passed by the Arizona

Board of Regents in 2015 that offers a lower tuition rate in 2015 meant for non-residents

who are Arizona high school graduates.

This ruling comes at a time when colleges and universities around the nation have displayed

blatant preferential treatment of undocumented students.

In fact, many students in multiple states enjoy a lower tuition than those in the country

illegally.

And it's not just tuition, "Dreamers" have a host of other financial help options

which people here legally don't have.

I'm not sure if many people here in the states realize this but in most Latin American

nations if you are an illegal you just can't go to school, period.

Even if you are a minor and your legal adult guardians are willing to pay for private schooling

at full price.

But why is it that here illegals can come and we have to school them from grades k-12

for free and then even cut them a break for college?

Because they are deserving?

Aren't our legal citizens also deserving?

And aren't our legal citizens also "Dreamers?"

Time to start putting our legal citizens first and this is a great start.

Here is more lunacy via Tru Jersey:

"Immigrants living in the country illegally will be eligible for a new scholarship program

designed for low-income DREAMers, a philanthropy group announced this week.

TheDream.US program will offer scholarships to 2,000 undocumented immigrant students over

the next decade, organizers announced.

The group has already raised more than $25 million to fund the program, including donations

from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the Fernandez Foundation and Bloomberg Philanthropies.

Under the current system, children brought into the U.S. illegally are permitted to attend

K-12 schools and enroll in college.

But, in most states, they must pay out-of-state tuition if they can't prove they are citizens.

They are also not eligible for federal financial aid, making college unaffordable for many

students living in the country illegally.

"With support from our partner institutions and from civic leaders across the country,

TheDream.US is building a new movement to remove these roadblocks and make higher education

a reality for thousands of undocumented immigrants.

We're making a down payment on our country's future by helping these young Americans achieve

the American Dream," said Donald Graham, chief executive officer of the Graham Holdings

Company and one of the program's co-founders.

After years of debate, Gov. Chris Christie recently signed a law that makes students

living in the country illegally eligible for in-state tuition at New Jersey colleges.

But Christie did not support a provision that would have made students eligible for state

financial aid to help pay their tuition.

Many of the students — who have been dubbed DREAMers, after the proposed federal DREAM

Act that would open the federal financial aid system to them — say college is still

out of their reach if they lack the money to pay tuition.

But critics argue students living in the country illegally should not be eligible for the same

scholarships, loans and grants offered to students living in the country legally.

At Rutgers University, for example, undergraduates students living in the country illegally would

be required to pay the full $13,499 in annual tuition and fees this year, before the cost

of room, board, books and other fees is added in.

To apply for TheDream.US scholarships, immigrant students must qualify for the federal Deferred

Action for Childhood Arrivals program, must graduate from a U.S. high school or have a

GED with the equivalent a 2.5 grade point average or higher, organizers said.

Applicants must also show financial need and show the ability to succeed in an associate's

or bachelor's degree program.

Twelve colleges have signed on as partners for the program.

They are: the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Bronx Community College and Kingsborough

Community College in New York; Miami Dade College in Florida; Trinity Washington University

in Washington, D.C.; El Paso Community College, South Texas College, University of Texas Pan

American and University of Texas El Paso in Texas; Long Beach City College and California

State University, Long Beach in California; and Mount Washington College, a national online

college.

Nearly 40 scholarships have already been handed out.

The amount of the scholarships will vary according to a student's financial need, but could

cover up to 100 percent of a student's tuition, fees and book costs, organizers said.

Students are eligible for an additional $1,000 to $2,000 for maintaining high grades.

In addition to Graham, the program's co-founders are Democratic activist and philanthropist

Henry R. Muñoz III and former U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez.

"Absent the passage of the DREAM Act or other breakthrough in immigration policy,

thousands of eager young people will be unable to achieve their academic dreams.

We are not waiting for Washington to solve these challenges," Gutierrez said.

Get ready for UAlberta Convocation! - Duration: 3:54.

Convocation is the pinnacle of your university experience, celebrating the

successful completion of a degree and the important rite of passage from

student to professional. It's an exciting time to celebrate your achievements with

your family and friends as you prepare to forge ahead into the next phase of

your life. But wait — how did we get here? There are a few things that you need to

know to prepare for your convocation ceremony. Graduands must pick up their

convocation packets from the University Bookstore in SUB prior to their

convocation ceremony. The packet includes your guest tickets,

name card with seat number, official parchment, and apparel. Each graduand

receives an allotment of guest tickets to their ceremony in addition to the

graduand's ticket. There is no fee associated. Most University of Alberta

convocation ceremonies are located in the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

There are a number of parking options near the Jubilee Auditorium and

throughout the university campus. Please give yourself plenty of time to get to

the convocation ceremony as there will be hundreds of other students and their

guests arriving at the same time. Plan ahead and set a meeting place for your

family or friends to find you once the ceremony is over. Not sure what to wear?

We've got you covered! With a mortar board — that's your cap — a gown, and hood in

the ceremonial color of your degree. And hey, while you're looking so good, be

sure to take some photos with your friends and family on the Jubilee lawn

and in the lobby. It's almost time for the show!

Doors open 30 minutes before the ceremony begins and you should be seated

at least 10 minutes before. The charming and helpful ushers are there if you need

any assistance. The ceremony begins with a platform party procession to the stage.

Look at all those fancy gowns. After some welcoming remarks and the

convocation address, you will be asked to rise and make your pledge to the

university. Don't miss it! And now, on to the main event. It's your

turn to take the stage. If you are in the first row, follow the marshal to the

front, otherwise follow the students ahead of you. When you're on the stage, a

friendly helper will be there to make sure you look great for your big moment.

Hand your name card to the announcer. They may ask for correct pronunciation if

needed. Wait to hear your name. This is it, your moment in the spotlight!

Take a deep breath, step forward to your dean, turn towards the dignitaries, gently

shake their hands and cross the stage to the other side. Hooray! You did it!

Remember to pause on the other side of the stage to have your picture taken. Say

cheese! Make your way back to your seat and

enjoy the rest of the ceremony. After all the graduates have crossed the stage,

there will be a few final remarks before the platform party exits the stage,

followed by the graduates and then guests. Now that you're done, find your

friends and family so you can celebrate your accomplishment with them. And here

we are again, time for your milestone moment. Congratulations!

Wait — you can't forget to return your convocation apparel to the bookstore.

That's the final step, we promise.

See Thru Rotary (Full Throttle Runs Just for Fun) Shot with RED Monstro 8K VV- Canon C200- Flex 4K - Duration: 8:58.

This is the 4K version of this video.

A link to the 8K version is in the description area below.

If you want to watch it.

As well as the reasons for posting them separately.

My goal in this show is to warp people's perception of all sorts of things they see in the world.

Not only by using high-speed cameras.

But also by using various filming techniques and equipment.

That I have built and developed over the years.

As well as some of the coolest technology.

I can get my hands on to make these things happen.

Camera or otherwise.

So I figured why not film The see through rotary engine.

With three of the best cameras in the world.

And see what it looks like.

I'll hold my own opinions but tell me what you think.

And those cameras are.

The red 8K monstro vista vision.

The Canon c200 yep.

And of all the cameras I have used.

This is one of my all-time favorites.

The vision research Phantom Flex 4K.

I'm going to set up this engine and put it through one complete run.

And show you some footage of each camera side by side.

Now the red is a 8K full frame sensor.

The camera footage is going to be raw internal.

Upscaled from 4K to 8K.

The vision research Fox 4K is also going to be upscaled from 4K to 8K.

And that is in raw.

And I think this is going to warped your perception because it definitely warped mine.

I found these results very interesting.

But again tell me what you think of the footage.

Yeah let's see how it looks.

For each test I used identical camera settings.

Same camera position lighting and lenses.

Except for the flex 4K I had to use a different lens.

But that camera is kind of in a different League because it's a high-speed camera.

But that camera does produce some absolutely beautiful images.

Which is why I figured it would be fun to include it.

Okay the truth comes out here.

Not only is this video good.

To give you an idea of what footage from those three awesome cameras looks like.

But I also used it as an excuse.

To film a few Full Throttle runs.

Then I didn't get to film for the full see through rotary episode.

And those clips that you just watched.

Those were a couple of small Full Throttle runs.

But for this next clip I'm going to push it farther.

Then I've ever pushed this see through rotary engine.

And see what it does.

I think you're going to love it.

It's just nuts.

Check it out.

And draw your own conclusions but if you watch the fuel tank.

While the engine is running.

You can get an idea for just how much fuel this engine eats up.

There it goes that was nice.

So I just got finished doing that like Full Throttle run over and over.

And I know you're probably thinking that guy's nuts.

Because I put my finger over the exhaust port to stop the engine.

Which is probably partially true.

But the truth of the matter is the engine really isn't overheating.

And it's not burning hot.

I mean it's kind of hot the engine just finish running.

And I can put my thumb on here without getting burned.

Actually I can hold my thumb on there.

And the reason for that is by burning methanol in here.

and pretty much it's burning a lot of methanol.

It has a substantial cooling effect on the combustion.

In this particular rotary engine.

I ran it Full Throttle over and over as you saw.

and the engines not smoking.

It's not overheating.

It didn't blow up.

And it's not that hot.

I had another idea.

I have the final version of the see-through engine setup.

Because we are currently filming that episode.

Where I try to blow it up with turbo and nitromethane.

And a couple other surprises I have in store.

And I figured why not give these cameras a bit of a rolling shutter challenge.

And this is going to challenge the scan time of the sensor.

Because this engine when it's running vibrates violently.

Back and forth left to right.

Almost no camera would ever be able to keep up with this.

But that's why this is an extreme test.

So here it goes tell me what you think.

Again take it for what it's worth.

This isn't a situation that these cameras would normally see on most film sets.

But they are very common on my sets.

Keep in mind that these shots were done with each camera at its base iso. 30 frames per

second 180 degree shutter.

No additional lighting only house lights.

So they are a little bit underexposed.

But that was the idea.

Most of the time for me it's less important how the camera looks on paper.

Then how the camera looks on screen.

Very often in my cases especially.

My sets tend to be some of the most aggressive in the film industry.

So when I start using these cameras in real situations.

Sometimes they tend to not do what they were designed to do.

And then sometimes they do things they weren't designed to do.

And that is why I test all of the equipment myself and I don't take anybody's word for it

So tell me what you think looks better.

In the comments below.

I actually decided to make this video public after some debate LOL.

I didn't think it was directly related to the show.

But I did find the results very interesting.

And I thought you would too.

Especially if you're a filmmaker and you're trying to decide what camera to use for what.

If you have a budget.

I know it helped me.

So hopefully it helped you.

Other than that thanks for watching.

Look out for the full episodes.

They're coming up soon.

[Szok] Książę Harry i Meghan Markle wywołali polityczny skandal? Jaki? || LVTszok - Duration: 5:04.

Książę Harry i Meghan Markle wywołali polityczny skandal? Jaki?

Książę Harry i Meghan Markle nie zaprosili polityków na ślub.

Już tylko miesiąc dzieli nas od jednego z największych wydarzeń w tym stuleciu.

Meghan Markle, aktorka amerykańskiego pochodzenia, w dodatku ciemnoskóra i książę Harry,

Homeless Boy Raped, Beaten And Robbed – Then Famous Pop Star Takes Matters Into Own Hands - Duration: 2:37.

Homeless Boy Raped Beaten And Robbed – Then Famous Pop Star Takes Matters Into Own Hands

Last year, Ed Sheeran filmed a documentary for Comic Relief.

He went to Liberia and observed the horrific situations of young boys living in the slums.

One little boy named JD and his five mates would sleep in canoes on the beach.

They'd have no adult supervision – no one to look after or care for them.

Until Ed came along.

The British superstar musician refused to give up on these young boys who were raped

and beaten by older boys living on the streets.

Their daily diet would consist of a cup of water and lone piece of bread.

JD had dreams of becoming president, but his current situation was dire.

The young boy's story moved Ed to intervene to save not only JD but his mates too.

Ed didn't just follow through on his promise because the cameras were there; he did it

for JD and his pals.

He used money from his own pocket to set them up in a house in Liberia's capital city

of Monrovia.

They were looked after by a woman they call Ma.

JD remembers how his life used to be; he much prefers how things are now because he has

someone in his life who cares for him.

"I used to sleep in canoes on the beach with my friends.

Now I feel much better because I stay with Ma and she takes care of us.

"She always comes looking for us to make sure we are ok.

She really cares about me.

I didn't have that before.

"I am very happy to be going to school soon.

I want to be president, so I have to learn and study well.

When I am president, I can help all the other street children with food, shelter, and school.

"I want to see all children in school uniforms.

If I had not met [charity] Street Child and Ed, I would still be sleeping in canoes on

the beach."

In the video for Comic relief, Sheeran said, It really does not feel right leaving at all.

I mean, the only thing you can do is help them, which we should.

"My natural instinct is to just put them in a car and just take them and just put them

in a hotel until we can get them sorted.

"Can we do that?

Can I pay to put them in a house until we get them in a school?

It doesn't matter how much it costs can we just get him and his five mates in a house

with an older person to look after them.

"I don't think we can go until that's sorted."

Good for Ed for sticking up for these boys and refusing to leave them until they were

safe.

What a great guy!

This one app convinced me to try smart home tech.... Stringify: 1 Year Later - Duration: 8:53.

While I create content on a wide variety of technology topics, I'm always trying new

things and more tech than actually makes it into videos.

I'm always researching, experimenting, and learning.

The big thing I've finally been tackling this year is smart home tech.

Despite my affinity for technology, I've always been embarrassed by the fact that I

shy away from "smart" stuff.

To me, it comes from a sense of control and ability to troubleshoot and rig things together

that can't be done as easily with automated tech - but I realize that I start sounding

like an old man.

Well that changed in May of 2017, when Stringify sent out a huge care package of smart home

tech for me to set up and use and talk about their app.

Yes, I said May.

I really wanted to learn and figure out this stuff before jumping on camera - and it's

just been an incredibly busy year.

In this video we'll be covering the Stringify app and how it has made this process easier

- and then I'll be covering a few of the specific gadgets in their own videos, as well.

Quality tech education and gaming nostalgia that won't put your to sleep.

Get subscribed and turn on notifications so that you won't miss the next guide.

Stringify is a service - available on Android and iOS - that connects all of your different

smart "things" together and perform actions with them or create what they call "flows."

This was both the HUGE appeal I had for the service, but also something I was worried

about.

There are two main things that have prevented me from looking into smart home tech in the

past: The fact that everything has its own "hub" or relies on this proprietary system

or that one, and the serious focus on automation.

I never wanted to invest in a smart system only for it to be ditched before long, or

find that I like the things of another platform more - so the idea of just controlling them

from one place was very appealing.

But the flows feels more like automation, which I at least thought I wasn't interested

in.

Turns out it's not that bad.

Stringify sent over quite the package of smarthome stuff - I unboxed a lot of it in a huge unboxing

video back in the spring.

I've got the Samsung Smart Hub with a couple sensors that are actually very important to

my apartment-living life, the Logitech Harmony hub and remote, a LifX bulb, a Sonos One speaker.

I already had an Amazon Echo - I pre-ordered that sucker - and a Philips Hue kit.

I wound up buying a second LifX bulb so I could have two for the studio - that's how

much I liked them.

Stringify works with a huge variety of other tech, too - but this is what I have to work

with.

I will say, the app can't do everything for you.

I couldn't realistically expect it to - but I have had issues with the Samsung hub cooperating

with my network on the whole, and the Sonos speaker was a bit frustrating to set up, but

it's all good now.

But you do need to set up your individual products on their own and sign up for accounts,

sync to your phone, and so on before really maximizing your Stringify use.

Then, in Stringify, you add your "things" to control.

Hue bulbs, LifX bulbs, Samsung sensors, the Amazon Echo, the Harmony remote, and so on.

You can also add various digital accounts such as for Google services, cloud storage

services, or social media, to interact with the things, too.

From your "Things" list, you can already control some actions on your things.

I can control my Hue and LifX bulbs from the same app, flip over and control my Sonos speaker

in the kitchen, and so on.

The Samsung Smart Hub has been very nice in my apartment.

I have the door sensor set up to ping me when the door opens.

I want to know when that happens, wherever I am.

I have the water sensor in our closet with the main kitchen sink drain set to notify

me if it detects water.

We've had issues with this backing up or flooding, so that's a very important notification.

This is done using the "Flows" in the Stringify app.

This is basically a visual programming module.

You add your "things" to the flow, select triggers to start the flow, actions to be

acted as a result, and make a connection between the things.

So for the water sensor, you have the sensor on one side, set to trigger when water is

detected.

Then on the other side is the push notification module with the "send push notification"

action selected, and a bridge between them.

It's really easy and intuitive - and they provide a lot of room to get really complex

with your flows if you want.

The LifX bulbs go in my two china balls that are the primary source of light for my office.

They have a flow to go off around 2AM and come on around 7AM.

Automation isn't all bad!

I don't gotta worry about pulling up the app or finding the cords - they just come

on and go off at will.

And I can still set them to fun colors for videos and the schedule is unaffected.

This is done with two super simple flows - When clock hits 2AM, lights get set to off.

Then when clock hits 7AM, lights get set to on.

EZ.

This gets even cooler when you loop in location-based detection to automatically enable and disable

security notifications, turn on/off the lights and so on.

Unfortunately, the LifX bulbs like to randomly disconnect from my wifi - but that's an

issue I'm fighting with their hardware, not really the app.

I use Stringify to loop into my Sonos speaker set up in the kitchen so I can just hit one

button on my home screen and hear the weather or news while I'm doing dishes in the morning.

And that Sonos, man… one of the best wireless speakers I've ever heard.

The Harmony hub can be triggered by different things, including their custom buttons.

So I have a button set up to automatically run the "Watch TV" activity, which flips

on my TV, A/V receiver, and sets the input so my fiancee and I can watch Hulu with dinner.

It's pretty handy.

I'll have a whole video just about the Harmony hub coming soon - it's a HUGE boon for someone

like me that uses and collects retro tech that I don't have

all of the official remotes for.

Love it.

So… an admittedly ridiculous 10 months later, I'm no longer afraid of smart home tech.

I get it, and I'm excited for the future and to come up with new ways to use it.

The flexibility of the Flows in Stringify let you do a wide number of things if you

spend the time to learn it.

Plus, you can sign up for an email and get recommended flows just to keep new ideas going.

Links to all of the hardware, as well as the FREE Stringify app will be linked in the video

description.

Check it out and let me know what you come up with.

E03. Wooden workbench Domidrewno - countertop - Duration: 16:01.

Hello, everybody. We are off with the long-awaited construction of a joiner's bench.

There is some beech wood right next to me. This stock here would make several joiner's benches.

I'll stick to just two. A prototype at first, followed by a final product.

It is a 50 mm beech, slabbed by JAF Polska, this has not changed for a while now.

Where do we start? From studying the documents. They can also be downloaded from Dictum,

but they will come useful a little later, as first I'll start to cut this beech

and prepare it for gluing. When the elements are in the pressing machine, I will go through the papers.

Right now the one key factor is the dimensions of the glulam we want to make.

We are going for roughly 1000 x 500 mm. Of course thickness is important. I will make the small joiner's bench heavy,

so I won't save on the material. We'll turn the glulam this way and it will make 101.6 mm (4").

It will be important as this is exactly the thickness of one element which is already ready.

We will stick to the inch dimensions, I'm not going to change that. It will be precise and accurate work.

I'm off for work and you keep your fingers crossed that it goes smooth and easy.

I started my work from fixing a disk dedicated for cutting the wood with grain.

I must admit that I hate doing it. Sometimes I cut with general purpose blades,

But I didn't want to risk here. There is no need to wear out the machine now. I will cut with grain

a lot, so I changed the blade. Beech is a type of wood that can stop a saw blade.

It can jam the disk while cutting. Maybe this timber would not cause this kind of problem,

as it is steamed beech, but still. Crosscutting is usually as you can see

a handsaw and working on the ground or on tables. As you can see, the arrangement of tables

is important. The waste material itself is very heavy and can stop the machine.

As I see there was a lot of smoke, I guess I forgot to turn on the vacuum cleaner.

What I'm fixing at the end right now, I have shown several times before – for initial cutting,

or for this first edging. A neat handle that blocks the material and then we only use

the sliding table scoring unit and this first cutting line is just perfect.

Without it, there would be problems, but it is doable. Maybe I will make a film about how to edge

without the sliding table. Second cut is a piece of cake. A rip fence and here we go.

Also, these elements were shorter here, so it was not very heavy.

Here we see, thicknesser. And here, as you see I'm jumping to another stage, first

of course, an edging machine. I'd like to remind you that I still work with an edging machine with thick knives.

The most traditional ones – I'm not complaining. Of course, if I want perfectly finished surfaces

the spiral knife cutterblock in the thicknesser will finish the material perfectly.

I always say here that first I start with planning upright, as the material is thicker,

so it is more stable. That's how I do it. Later I have to do some winding as I don't have an automatic

table raising, but you can get used to just anything.

Some chips production. There wasn't too much cuttings as I wanted to have as much as possible

for gluing, but from this 50 mm I got some 45-42 mm. Beech can be twisted.

I have an aluminium tool with grooves and the glue is spread, but here the roller was 80 mm wide

while the glulam was 100 mm, so 20 mm was missing. Obviously you can see a single strike with this system

of pressure-application of glue and with the brush there is a lot of work and the result is not as good.

In some spots there will be more glue, in others – less, which I try to avoid.

Maybe one day my printed heads for the glue applicator will be made and I'll show you how to make

any widths.

Everything was placed in the press and a hearty lunch would do – we need some strength to press it well.

This glulam was about 105 mm, the press works on one side, so from the outside I wanted to

add 4 more clamps. This is the first time I used the hex key so well to

press it so strongly.

There is no place and time to be gentle since it is to be glued well, so you need to do it properly.

Right, I fetched a hex key and tightened some more.

Now we need a trolley for help. The glulam was quite heavy. I need to allow for the fact

that my thicknesser is one of the smallest ones and loading elements that are so heavy for

the input and output shafts must be thoughtful. We need to extend

the tabletops. I can look through the machine and adjust two trolleys to the current height

of the table. The width was 395 mm in here. So I have a reserve of just 5 mm on each side.

I think it was the first time when I used so extensive width of the shaft at once.

The result is a beautiful beech glulam. Even on the one side. I have removed the excessive glue,

so the thicknesser was enough. Cuttings to the target 101.6 mm, or 4 inches.

I can tell you, it was quite heavy. It's good it was not too long.

Now it's time for crosscutting. Look, I'm using a clamp fixed to the sliding table.

The material is really heavy and a lever is created, which hangs over the outside part of the table.

In order to do it well and retain the right angle, look how after clamping the gap

disappeared at the sliding table. I straighten the material and we get the right angle.

I cut on the one side, cut on the other side and look - 1 mm too little ? So I evened it out with a hand plane.

I have cut this 1 mm with a plane.

Several strokes with a smoothing plane and the surface is finished. One last cut

along is left. I have made the glulam a bit wider than necessary.

Last cut along. Little left, huh? So little, but the cut needs to be done twice. No problem with that.

We cut along the parallel T-square, so it is a fast cut.

It's a short film, because we cannot do a lot, but this is the basis from which to start.

Here is the part that I have cut off the joiner's bench, i.e. 100 mm beech; of course a joiner's bench can

be thinner. It can be half as thick, 40 mm for example. Later additions can be made

at the external sides of the bench, where tool posts will be, where the clamp will be applied.

The outside bands must be thick, but the centre can be a little thinner. However, I always say

that if a joiner's bench is lightweight, then you must fix it to the floor or to the wall.

I had no major problems with gluing itself. One issue you saw, was the too narrow glue roller.

One question comes to my mind that is frequently raised with regard to joiner's benches – what material

should their tables be made of. For legs it does not matter, they just need stability. The tabletop is what matters.

One can check historically what our grandfathers' joiner's benches were made of.

90 percent of them it was oak. Now, after my research, also hornbeam, beech, maple and oak. Those four kinds in my opinion

are most suitable – hardness, resilience is as it should be. I also look at the joiner's benches

of specialised manufacturers and beech is prevailing there. That's all for today. Click LIKE, please.

I need you activity. Also, remember about the info under the film. I get lots of

emails: Jarek, where is a link, can I ask for some information?

All is provided under the film.

It does not cost much. "Show More", expands full information about the film and it is always there.

That's all for today. I'm heading off behind the camera where a complete joiner's bench is and get down to work.

See you soon.

>>Connie: Hey Inseparables, how are you?

>>Dorothy: We are gr- good. We're good. Just spending some time together before Connie's class.

Oh. Nah, it's been ages since we've had some quality Inseparable time.

>>Connie: Yeah. Plus, it's not weird hanging out with you guys anymore.

I don't mean weird like that. It's just that I still owe you guys all that money and

it'll be way nicer on both sides not having that hang over our friendship since I'll be able to pay you back soon.

Thanks to my parents.

[door knocks]

>>Monty: Oh, hi Dorothy!

>>Dorothy: Hi, Monty...

Are you somehow in Connie's class now?

>>Monty: No.

They still won't let me enroll in classes since I technically haven't finished high school.

Um, I'm just here to walk Bonnie to class as always.

>>Dorothy: Oh, I didn't know that that was a thing you do.

>>Connie: Oh yeah, and then we're probably gonna grab lunch and then maybe see an art film. I'll see you tonight?

>>Dorothy: Yeah, yeah of course. >>Connie: Love you.

>>Dorothy: Love you...too.

Can I help you with something?

>>Monty: Nope.

I have nothing to say.

Nothing to say at all because Bonnie is always right and you are a bad girlfriend.

>>Dorothy: Excuse me? >>Monty: You heard me. You're the worst.

[Connie: Come on, Monty!]

>>Dorothy: What the hell was that? Hulk Monty? I-

[sighs]

Is she even wrong though, I mean...

I have been a terrible girlfriend. I've been ignoring Connie for weeks.

I think I deserve that.

I know exactly what to do, but it will take a lot of prep.

I will see you guys later.

This is gonna be the best night of my life, and the best night of Connie's life, and the best night of your lives too.

Especially you, Emblue.

Right?

So I'm getting her favorite sushi delivered, and I made a super romantic Netflix list.

It's just gonna be so nice and it'll be great to finally relax and stop being so, you know,

so uh...

...distant.

A text from Connie.

"Gonna be later than I thought. Monty found a group on campus that does 2 a.m. Shakespeare. Night."

[sighs]

No, it's not that, it's just that

ever since the big fight,

Connie's been super weird, and I know that something's off and she won't tell me what

and I can feel her slipping away.

No, I can't surrender. I know it's wrong and I know that she's just doing it out of desperation.

I know, I know.

But I can't lie and, and I can't support her on this.

And I need her to forgive me for not agreeing with her, but she won't, so she's icing me out

and she's gonna break up with me.

[door knocks]

Connie? >>Henry: Hey.

>>Dorothy: Henry, hey, what's up?

>>Henry: Um, I was lurking through the chat, and I thought you could use a friend.

>>Dorothy: Oh wow, you got here super fast.

>>Dorothy: You don't even live that close by, you teleport? >>Henry: Well. I was actually one floor down with, um,

>>Dorothy: Ah, Portia. >>Henry: Mhm. >>Dorothy: Cool.

>>Henry: Uh, so, you were saying before?

>>Dorothy: Oh, pfft. Ah. It's not, it doesn't. I know, I know. Connie's not gonna break up with me.

>>Henry: Well, she might.

>>Dorothy: I can say that, you can't say that.

You see it too though, yeah? >>Henry: The last time I saw that angry look in someone's eye, it was Portia.

>>Dorothy: Ouch.

>>Henry: I'm not saying this to try to be mean, but you guys gotta figure this out. You have to learn how to fight.

>>Dorothy: We are fighting. >>Henry: No, you had one big fight, and now you're bottling it up.

>>Dorothy: How often are you lurking in that chat? >>Henry: Well, I'm here and there.

>>Dorothy: You softie, you miss me.

>>Henry: Maybe a little. HQ's a lot quieter since you're not around, which I was actua-

>>Dorothy: Okay, this is getting ridiculous now. Um anyone else hiding in there? Miller? Rochefort? Connie?

You know you can just text me.

True, true. Why don't you just come over then?

>>Henry: Yeah, then we can have a real life hang. >>Dorothy: Yeah!

I have food coming, SO much food coming.

Who needs Friends when you have friends? >>Henry: Mmm that doesn't actually work out verbally.

So you and Connie need to learn how to fight.

That's what I read in all the "how to build a healthy relationship" books I had to buy after Portia dumped me.

Do you know how many fights me and Portia had?

>>Dorothy: A lot?

>>Henry: Nuh uh. Just the one.

That's why we broke up. We didn't communicate and then we just pushed it all down, which made it worse.

>>Dorothy: Speaking of, um, you and Portia, are you back together? >>Henry: Oh? No no no we are not back together.

>>Dorothy: Why not?

>>Henry: Honestly? Even after weeks of whatever it is that we were, she won't have a real conversation with me.

>>Dorothy: What? >>Henry: Yeah, it's like we're stuck in this hookup spiral.

She just shows up at my door all wild-eyed, and then we do whatever and then she

talks about the weather, and then she leaves.

>>Dorothy: Geez, that must be killing you. >>Henry: I've done no-strings-attached tons of times.

>>Dorothy: Yeah, not with Portia.

>>Henry: Yeah, that's true.

>>Dorothy: You still love her.

>>Henry: I don't know how to stop.

Meanwhile, it's like she's perfectly compartmentalized us. She doesn't talk to me about the campaign or

Treville or you or even Rochefort.

>>Dorothy: Oh. >>Henry: Mhm, it's like,

I mean, maybe after our breakup, maybe she moved on and I didn't.

I don't know.

>>Dorothy: No no no, she still loves you. Why do you think she gets so angry with you?

It's because she wants to be back with you, but she can't. >>Henry: She can, I'm right here.

>>Dorothy: No, she can't get back together with you because for Portia, that would mean that that she was wrong.

That the break-up was for nothing and that what you did, it wasn't that bad.

>>Henry: That's ridiculous.

I know what I did was that bad. I mean, I've apologized hundreds of times.

>>Dorothy: Yeah, I think Portia isn't very good at

processing her feelings.

>>Henry: Mmm. That's true.

I mean, she's changed so much and so have I, which is- it's not a bad thing, but...

it's like we switched spots. I'm the one that's all excited and cheerful and earnest. It's gross.

And she's all...dangerous.

>>Dorothy: Yeah, I swear a couple times in the campaign, I thought she was gonna pull a knife on me.

She was buttering a bagel once. I screamed, I screamed.

>>Henry: I know what we had didn't work perfectly, but it fit. What if that's gone?

>>Dorothy: I think about that with Connie too. Just that we are SO different.

And I thought for a while that we were maybe rubbing off on each other, but

Maybe it's not enough and and she wants to be with someone more like...Monty.

>>Henry: [snorts] Have you seen how she looks at Monty?

Like the kid she was stuck babysitting for free as a favour to her parents' friends?

>>Dorothy: Okay, oddly specific, but accurate.

>>Henry: And have you seen how she looks at you?

It's how she would've looked at the cute pizza girl she called up every time she was stuck babysitting.

Like, "Oooh. Wow."

>>Dorothy: [laughing] Okay, sounds like you had some awesome times while babysitting.

>>Henry: I'm just saying, don't count the girl out. She still loves you, you guys are just in a tough patch right now.

You need to put some work in, but you'll figure it out.

Hey, um, you know our giant anime robots?

>>Dorothy: Doriana? >>Henry: Mhmm. We need a new name.

Uh, how about...Dorienry? Henothy?

>>Dorothy: No no no.

Castle Abascale.

>>Henry: Oof. >>Dorothy: Mmm.

It's a castle in space, and we have, we have robot butlers.

>>Henry: That is a huge improvement, I'm totally in.

Oh Alex, you should come join us, and then we could be Castlex Abascale.

>>Dorothy: Yeah!

Yeah! Okay.

Okay, night officially un-ruined.

Woo!

>>Henry: Yo, can I have one of those chocolate-covered- >>Dorothy: No, they're- are you kidding me-

Yes I have heard the cheese story!

>>DOROTHY: We're having words later. Hey.

Connie not here so...

>>MONTY: I know. I'm here to see you.

>>DOROTHY: Why? So you can tell me that I'm a bad girlfriend again?

>>MONTY: No. To tell you that we're not enemies anymore.

>>DOROTHY: Ah, but we were enemies before?

>>MONTY: Mortal ones.

>>DOROTHY: ... Cool.

>>MONTY: But I think it's time that we bury the hatchet.

I left mine in Kingston, so I thought we could use yours?

>>DOROTHY: I don't have a hatchet.

We're in a city and only serial killers have hatchets.

Do you think I'm a serial killer?

Are YOU a serial killer?

Oh you do own a hatchet. Ok, don't answer that.

>>MONTY: That was a joke.

You like jokes so I was trying to...

I'm really trying to bond with you here.

>>DOROTHY: Oh...Yeah! That was pretty funny actually.

So, why do you all of a sudden want to make peace and be friends?

>>MONTY: Well, the thing is.

I've been spending a lot of time with Bonnie.

>>DOROTHY: Yeah. I know.

>>MONTY: Because you screwed up so bad.

>>DOROTHY: Yeah. I know.

>>MONTY: Like really REALLY bad.

>>DOROTHY: Yeah I know.

>>MONTY: And this should be our big moment to get back together

after you stole her away like a Marvel movie supervillain.

>>DOROTHY: WHAT? Okay first of all, I didn't steal her away that's not what, that's like a really exaggerated ver...

and that's not actually what happened at all.

>>MONTY: But everything's still about you.

Literally every word she says is just Dorothy.

And she's doing her Bonnie-best to ignore it, but I can tell that she's not happy.

Not at all.

>>DOROTHY: Yeah, I know.

It's all my fault and I don't deserve her.

>>MONTY: Yeah.

I mean, obviously.

I just don't understand what she sees in you.

I mean look at you, you're just so...

LOUD.

But you make her happy and I want Bonnie to be happy.

>>DOROTHY: ... Thanks?

>>MONTY: So I have an idea on how to make you suck

less so Bonnie can be happy.

>>DOROTHY: Okay. Hit me.

>>MONTY: Be better.

Be less awful.

Be a cooler, less boring and terrible person than you are.

>>DOROTHY: Okay yeah... thats it? Cool uh thanks that's soo... helpful.

So since you're helping me be better with Connie, does that mean you are no longer trying

to win her back?

>>MONTY: Yeah, I'm done with that now.

Bonnie um...

Connie has moved on.

So I think I should too.

>>CONNIE: What's going on?

Are you two... talking?

>>DOROTHY: Ah yeah!

We're BFFs!

We hang out all the time now.

>>MONTY: It's kind of our thing.

You know Dorothy's not so bad when you get past the plaid and the yelling.

>>DOROTHY: And Monty has great jokes.

They make sense and everything!

>>CONNIE: Well I think you're both very okay.

So! What are the three of us doing tonight?

>>MONTY: Actually I think I should leave you two alone.

>>CONNIE: Oh no, don't go. Please.

>>DOROTHY: Yeah you should stay!

>>MONTY: Wow! Stop suffocating me! Bye!

Make sure you talk.

And Dorothy!

Remember:

Less awful.

>>DOROTHY: .... Got it, thanks.

>>CONNIE: Less awful?

>>DOROTHY: It's a long story.

>>CONNIE: I'm going to make some coffee.

>>DOROTHY: No wait Connie just sit down.

We need to stop avoiding this.

>>CONNIE: We're not avoiding this! We're making this work.

Like a good couple does.

>>DOROTHY: I just had a more intimate conversation with Monty than I have

had with you in weeks.

>>CONNIE: That's not true!

Yesterday we had a very long conversation about bras.

Those are literally intimates.

>>DOROTHY: I'm starting to get the feeling that you a re only dating me because

you think you SHOULD not because you WANT to.

>>CONNIE: Of course I want to be with you.

>>DOROTHY: Then we need fight for this. For us.

Or else we're gonna lose what we have.

>>CONNIE: But this IS me fighting for this, Dorothy .

Don't you see that?

>>DOROTHY: I don't see you fighting.

>>CONNIE: Really.

I'm here, aren't I?

I didn't go home!

I abandoned my parents, my lifeline, my everything, to be with you, isn't that enough?

>>DOROTHY: Clearly it's not enough because

you're unhappy.

And that makes me un-unhappy.

Or un-un-unhappy?

Is that...Doesn't matter.

The point is - that you can't shut me out when you're

going through something.

Talk to me and maybe I can help you?

I Just need to know how!

>>CONNIE: Did you happen to find thousands of

dollars worth of buried treasure?

>>DOROTHY: Surprisingly, not.

But if it's the money that you're worried about I can get a job.

I'll drop out.

I just want to figure this out together.

>>CONNIE: I don't want to rely on you for

money any more than I want to rely on the Inseparable okay?

At least with my parents I don't feel guilty.

>>DOROTHY: But you're giving them your freedom and...

And you should take my freedom!

I don't even want it! It's yours!

>>CONNIE: You're being ridiculous.

>>DOROTHY: This is me fighting for us.

I'm throwing it all down Connie, because I love you.

And I want to do whatever it takes to give you what you want.

>>CONNIE: But I...

I don't even I know if I know what I want.

Because you're right.

I am un un-unhappy.

Why am I working so hard to be un-un-unhappy?

>>DOROTHY: I'm sorry.

>>CONNIE: No, that's not your fault.

You've saved me me from being a million un-unhappies.

It's my jobs and my classes and my parents and Idon't even know if I want...

>>DOROTHY: If you want....

>>CONNIE: If I want... to be a lawyer at all.

I kinda hate it.

Whoa. Did I just say that out loud?

>>DOROTHY: Yup I heard that. Say it again.

>>CONNIE: I don't want to be a lawyer.

I hate the work, I hate the classes.

I hate the pantsuits.

I hate those emails that my mom keeps sending me about internships.

I don't want to be a lawyer!

>>DOROTHY: Yeah you don't! Say it loud and proud!

>>CONNIE: I DON'T WANT TO BE A LAWYER!

WOOOOOOO!

SCREW THE LAW, YEAH!

>>DOROTHY: Yeah! Screw the law!

Who needs it?

>>CONNIE: I don't!

Oh my god, I feel so free.

Like I can do anything I want!

>>DOROTHY: What do you want?

>>CONNIE: I- I don't know.

No! I do, I do!

I want a break!

From the work, from the classes and I want to get as far away from my parents

as possible.

>>DOROTHY: Yeah! That's a great idea.

I'll take a break too!

We can go traveling around the world together!

We'll go to Paris!

It'll be so romantic!

>>CONNIE: That sounds really romantic Dee.

But why do you keep on talking about leaving!

You love it here.

>>DOROTHY: Nah. I love you and I love our friends.

But I don't love MST.

I loved what I thought it was but not what it actually is.

>>CONNIE: Is this about the campaign?

>>DOROTHY: No.

>>CONNIE: Anne?

>>DOROTHY: Maybe.

>>CONNIE: You didn't come to MST because of Anne.

>>DOROTHY: I kinda did.

I've got the chipped mug and everything.

>>CONNIE:No you came here cause of your gran.

Cause it was her sorority.

"It's the only reason I'm here."

No matter how messed up Anne is.

>>DOROTHY: She's the worst.

>>CONNIE: My parents love her.

My middle name is Anne because of her.

>>DOROTHY:She's only like 3 years older than you--

>>CONNIE: My point is.

Is that people are complicated.

Haven't you learned that by now?

>>DOROTHY: I guess.

>>CONNIE: Look if you want to make the sorority a better place,

you know what you have to do.

>>DOROTHY: Break it's arms?

>>CONNIE: Run for VP.

You want to make MST awesome.

So make it awesome.

>>DOROTHY: But it won't be as awesome without you here.

>>CONNIE: Obviously, but I'll still be around.

It's not like I've gone to the moon.

>>DOROTHY: Connie Bonacieux

I'm gonna marry you someday.

>>CONNIE: Oh! Constance Castlemore.

I like the ring of it.

Or you could be--

>>DOROTHY: Dorothy Bonaciuex?

Yes I could work with this.

>>CONNIE: Mmm, Mrs. Bonaciuex...

>>DOROTHY: I 'm liking it more and more.

I missed you.

>>CONNIE: I missed you too.

>>DOROTHY: Ah yes, so the Inseparables had a

stern chat with me about too much PDA.

So why don't I take my girl on a real date?

>>CONNIE: I would be honoured.

Bye Inseparables.

>>Miller: Hey Dor, uh, that's a lot of food.

>>Dorothy: What the fuck are you doing here??

>>Miller: I can explain--

>>Dorothy: Alex, are you okay?

Did he try anything?

Did he try and hurt you?

How did he even get in?

I'm going to call the cops.

Right now.

>>Alex: No it's fine, don't call the cops--

>>Dorothy: What??

>>Miller: Dor-

>>Dorothy: Shut up, Anton. What do you mean you don't want me to call the cops?

>>Alex: I let him in, I was handling it--

>>Dorothy: You LET him in?

>>Alex: I was handling it!

>>Dorothy: What do you mean you were handling it?

>>Miller: I just wanted to--

>>Dorothy: SHUT UP!

Do you want--just, just go okay!

Do you want me to hit you with a chair?

>>Miller: No. No, no, uh I'll just go.

>>Dorothy: And never come back!

YA DOUCHEBAG.

[slam]

>>Alex: Dorothy-

>>Dorothy: Let's eat.

>>Alex: I think you should just let them tell you-

>>Dorothy: Why can't you tell me-

>>Alex: I really think you should listen to them tell you

I can't...

I can't remember much of it.

>>Dorothy: What do you mean you can't remember??

Oh, I'm gonna kick his ass.

Did he hit you?

Oh I'm gonna punch him right in the face.

Did he drug you??

He has to have done something!

I shoulda-I shoulda killed him. I should have killed him.

>>Alex: No, nothing happened Dorothy. It was fine.

>>Dorothy: It was fine?! Alex, you can tell me, I can-I can handle it.

>>Alex: Literally all he did was talk.

It was fine. It was like no big deal.

>>Dorothy: Miller showing up is a-is a HUGE deal.

It's the HUGEST deal.

>>Alex: Tell her. Tell her it was nothing.

>>Dorothy: Wait. Crazy?

>>Alex: You're overreacting.

You're blowing this completely out of proportion.

>>Dorothy: Uh, Alex.

This doesn't sound good.

>>Alex: It's fine!

Sure, it's been a hard few weeks.

And I haven't been eating much.

And maybe I haven't been sleeping much,

And maybe I've missed a few classes but...

Maybe...maybe there's a few things I've been having issues with.

>>Dorothy: What other issues?

>>Alex: I....

I...

>>Dorothy: Alex, what's going on?

>>Alex: It's nothing.

I'm fine. I should go-

>>Dorothy: Wait, no!

You're sitting down and you're telling me what's going on.

Because I'm worried about you.

>>Alex: Dorothy--

>>Dorothy: Okay, I just want to know what's going on okay.

That's all.

I don't want you to suffer in silence.

So if something isn't okay I just want you to tell me.

>>Alex: I just didn't want you to know any of this.

>>Dorothy: Alex. You can tell me.

I can handle this.

>>Alex: No, Dorothy.

I don't think you can.

You're just so..

You're always so okay.

And I've... I've always kind of just been... broken.

>>Dorothy: You are--you are not broken.

You are amazing!

You are the most amazing human that I know on the planet

In the universe.

See!

Oh, no, no, no, no. Hey, hey, hey

That was supposed to be a nice thing! That was a nice thing!

>>Alex: It was, it was.

I just...

it's been...

so much and I didn't want you guys to worry

and I just kept thinking...

everything would be better if I just didn't...

if I wasn't...

>>Dorothy: Alex...did you try and...

did you try and hurt yourself?

>>Alex: I thought about it.

And then...

Even though I came close, I never actually

followed through. So...

it's fine.

>>Dorothy: Oh god, Alex...

>>Alex: Dorothy. No, it's okay, don't cry. Don't cry!

I swear I'm fine! Nothing happened, I'm fine.

>>Dorothy: Just stop saying that you're fine, okay!

I just need you to stop talking for the next few minutes, okay?

>>Alex: I--

>>Dorothy: Shh.

Why didn't you tell me?

Or any one? Or any of us!

Henry, Treville.

I'm sorry. This is nott about me.

I don't want to make you feel bad!

But, but hmm... How long has this been going on?

>>Alex: I mean.

Always.

It got worse after Miller came back.

And then...

And thenI started drinking to try and not think about it.

And I started having these moments where

like I wasn't really in my body and I couldn't really remember things.

>>Dorothy: Has that happened before?

>>Alex: Maybe?

Um

When things got really bad after Miller "died", I guess.

People were saying I was like out of it.

>>Dorothy: I knew-I knew that something was off, but

I-I just didn't, I didn't see any of it.

>>Alex: I worked hard to make sure that you didn't.

Because I didn't want to poison your lives with any of my mess.

>>Dorothy: Poison?! You are not poison.

You're the opposite of poison.

You're sugar.

You're cinnamon.

You are like whipped cream!

You just-you make everything better.

Hey!

[cries] >>Alex: I'm sorry. I just-

It's been a lot.

The past little while, trying to, like, pretend everything's okay.

And it's all just...it's a lot all at once.

>>Dorothy: Um, um, hey! What can I do?

I want to be helpful

But my brain's going a mile a minute and I don't know what to do.

Yeah, I-I can do that!

I can call, I can call

The hospital, your parents, I can call a doctor.

I can, um, you know my, my uncle is-is some kind of a doctor

Uh, he's a pediatrician.

[laughs]

>>Alex: I think...I think I'm...I think I'm...

I'm not okay,

but I think the worst of it has passed for tonight.

>>Dorothy: Okay just...it can-it can do that?

>>Alex: Uh, yeah? I mean I feel...

Things feel clearer when I'm... relaxed.

And I think I'm fine, I'm alright.

Um, for now.

Unless Miller decides to pay another house call.

>>Dorothy: I would grind his bone to make my bread.

And then feed that bread to him, if he showed up!

Okay.

Well, I am glad that you are going to be okay.

But...

it's not forever.

It's not gone forever! So we need a plan.

We need...medications, we need counselling, a doctor

Oh, hey hey, I know it's overwhelming but

I'm here!

and you know, they're the same steps that I went through to, uh, deal with my ADHD.

>>Alex: You have ADHD?

>>Dorothy: Oh yeah, since I was in high school.

>>Alex: I didn't know that.

>>Dorothy: Yeah, it's something that I've learned to manage and I have good meds.

so it doesn't come up very often in conversation.

And if whenever I am having a bad mental health day,

I just talk to the Inseparables.

See!

[laughs]

A bunch of the Inseparables have stuff.

And that's one of the things that we bond about!

Yeah!

Look, you're not alone.

You're the opposite of alone.

There's this big group of people

and we're standing behind you.

>>Alex: Thank you.

I just...wow

They told you, you were different and you found yourself a community.

>>Dorothy: And now it's yours too.

Cause we all have your backs.

>>Alex: Thanks guys.

I think for tonight, I'd just might just want to take it easy.

And you know, try to not think about it

>>Dorothy: Yeah, okay. Well!

I'm pretty good at distracting. I think, uh

I think if you let me help, you won't even remember you HAVE a brain!

[laughs]

Uh, kay. I don't want to make you feel...watched.

But...if you wanted to come stay with us for a bit that would be awesome.

Cause Connie and I have two beds

and, uh, we don't need two beds.

If you know what I mean.

We sleep in the same bed that's what I mean.

So, you'll come stay with us? Pretty please?

>>Alex: That would be...

really lovely.

I just-I don't want to be alone right now.

I feel better when I'm...

... When I'm not alone.

>>Dorothy: Oh, Alex!

I love you so much.

>>Alex: I love you too.

>>Dorothy: Okay.

You're going to be okay.

Well...

movie night?

Maybe?

You get to pick the movie though!

And the snacks.

And we should get PIZZA!

>>Alex: And ice cream?

>>Dorothy: Okay and ice cream and um...

Let's make a night of it! Let's invite everyone over.

Yeah, duh.

Uh, okay. Let me text...

Henry! Henry. Um no.

No, Henry's with Portia and Portia and I are not on the best terms at the moment.

So I'll text Connie. Oh hmmm.

Connie is on an overnight ghost tour with Monty.

So no Connie.

But, let's see.

Rochefort is-

>>Alex: Dorothy.

It's okay if it's just the two of us.

I think what I really need is just a quiet night

>>Dorothy: Okay.

Yeah.

Awesome!

Well, movie night with Alex and Dorothy.

Super awesome fun movie night!

>>Alex: Super awesome fun movie night, yeah.

Vince Carter on Possibility of Retirement: 'I Plan on Coming Back' - Duration: 1:42.

Vince Carter on Possibility of Retirement: 'I Plan on Coming Back'

Sacramento Kings shooting guard Vince Carter reiterated Wednesday he expects to return for the 2018-19 NBA season, but that will likely mark the end of his career.

Carter explained his outlook in the final diary entry with Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated about his 20th professional campaign.

I plan on coming back next season, he said. I plan on coming back one more season. Im almost 90 percent sure thats it after next season.. Carter made similar comments in late December, per Spears.

But I still say one more year. That is just how Ive been feeling, he said. It is what it is. Id like to play one more year. Then, Id probably just walk away..

The 41-year-old University of North Carolina product is no longer the high-impact player he was during his peak years with the Toronto Raptors and New Jersey Nets.

Hes averaged 5.3 points and 2.5 rebounds while playing just 17.6 minutes per contest across 57 appearances this season.

Hes still turned back the clock a couple of times. One instance came Dec. 27 when he tallied 24 points, five rebounds and three assists in a 109-95 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Carter, an impending unrestricted free agent, said Wednesday hes not sure whether hell be back in Sacramento. He previously expressed interest in a Raptors reunion, saying itll happen one day. Its supposed to happen, per Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.

Ultimately, it will be easier to identify potential landing spots after the June 21 draft and Julys first wave of free agency.

But as long as Carter wants to play another season, there should be interest in a veteran leader whos still capable of providing an offensive spark off the bench.

Tablecloth to Skirt Transformation | Sewing how to | Whitney Sews - Duration: 4:31.

Hi everyone!

I'm Whitney and I post a new tutorial every Wednesday here on Whitney Sews to help sewers

of all skill levels learn new projects and techniques.

This week I'm going to show how I turned a vintage tablecloth into a fun new skirt.

If you haven't already, make sure to hit that red subscribe button down below so you don't

miss out on any of my future sewing tutorials.

To get started I needed my tablecloth, a bit of fabric to make the waistband, and some

2 inch wide elastic.

I took my hip measurement and rounded up to the nearest inch.

Then got the radius by divided by 6.28 which is 2 times pi.

Then I used a tape measure to mark that out from the corner of a piece of paper to form

a quarter circle.

This is the pattern I will use to cut the waist opening in the center of the tablecloth.

This is the same way I go about making a circle skirt, only this time I'm only having to create

the waist and not the entire skirt.

I folded the tablecloth in half then in half again lining up the edges as closely as possible.

My tablecloth was a wonky oval to begin with so it didn't all line up perfectly, but that

is ok.

I placed the circle quarter I had drawn and cut before on the corner where all the folds

are and clipped it in place with craft clips.

Then I cut along the edge of the paper to have a waist.

Here is what the part I cut away looks like.

I cut a piece of elastic that fit snuggly around my waist.

I overlapped the ends and sewed them together so it made a loop.

I cut a strip from my coordinating fabric that was about my hip size by 5.5 inches.

Folded it in half and sewed the short sides together.

Fold the loop in half so the good sides are on the outside and the bottom edges are lined

up.

I place the elastic between the layers into the fold and run the presser foot along the

edge of the elastic to sew it into place.

I've used this same style of waist band on several projects recently because I think

it has a nice clean look when it's finished.

I like to sew another row or two of stitching down the center of the elastic as well.

This can cut down on some of the stretch if you are using lower quality elastic, but I

like the look of the extra stitching.

When I cut the waist opening I didn't take into account how loosely woven this fabric

is, so the waist ended up stretching and being too large.

So I sewed four darts along the waist to take up the excess.

Once the elastic waistband is on the darts aren't really noticeable so it all worked

out.

After the darts were sewn I put the waistband against the right side of the skirt lining

up the raw edges.

Then I sewed around twice to attach the two together.

If you are making a similar project you can serge the edges, zig zag over them, or cut

with pinking shears if you want to cut down on fraying.

And here is how it turned out!

I love it so much!

It's such a fun one of a kind skirt and used a tablecloth and some fabric from my stash!

I have other clothing refashionings I've done and they will all be in a playlist linked

right over here to the side, if you want to see some of my behind the scenes vlogs one

will be linked right below that.

Until next time, Happy Sewing!

HARRY POTTER VS PUIGDEMONT (with subtitles) - Duration: 5:24.

hey guys how're you

welcome to a new video

to be honest i dont know

how to clasify this video

as you saw in the title

today's video

is about guessing who said

a certain phrase

puigdemont or harry potter

im a big fan of both

i saw all harry's movies

and all puigdemont'

before i start

i wanna remind you

if you're not subscribed

you can do it by clicking down below

and also

because i had done it before

they kind of look alike tbh

both have glasses and tie

both are good actors

first phrase goes to

puigdemont

did i miss?

of course

harry potter says this in the 3rd movie

oh alright this is what puigdemont would say

i'm so not here

number 2

i spent many hours in the woods

by myself

this was said by puigdemont i think

i cant remember harry saying

these words

apparently they dont really like

puigdemont here

they're attacking him every single time

i dont have the ingredients i need

harry could've said these words

while making some potion

and puigdemont

i dont know when

so im gonna say harry potter

wrong

puigdemont said this

maybe they find a double prison cell

they could be talking about azkaban

but i dont know why

i think puigemont said this

again?

no

i even fail this strange test

if i fail a basque test its normal

i have no idea

but this one...

well i have no idea about this either

although i saw every movie

harry potter said this

talking about azkaban

i'm not related to this type of vanity

harry potter has not said this

as far as i know

in his movies

this was said by puigdemont

its consequences and effects go beyond that

this is from harry potter

a potion

it could be puigdemont when talking about...

i think its harry p

no

damn

crap

i only got 2

i have 4 more questions to fix this

i could be the next one

why is there this face?

i dont know what to say

it could be harry potter

that's why this test exists

its really hard to tell

if a phrase was said by puigdemont

or harry p

because the books are really long

lets say harry p

it could be the next victim of the snake

for example

he said this to dumbledore

an unbreakable oath cant be broken

this is from harry p

true

you dont have to call me sir

we have mariano here

with carles

and this phrase was said by

harry potter said this to dobby

harry potter must not go to

hogwarts

thats why he said

you dont have to call me sir

and i've just passed the test

miracle!

and riddikulus

harry potter says this

when the boggart comes out

of the closet

maybe puigdemont said it again

but no

when you say this words

you cast a spell to ridiculize

your opponent

you got 6/10 answers

thank you so much

i'm a big harry p fan

i saw all the movies

also puigdemont's

i saw all the movies

that's it

this is the end

today was a short video

Paper Ranger: reusable paper notebooks for Thai children - Duration: 4:19.

Let me introduce myself first, My name is Mr. P

but my Thai name is Poonyos

Paper Ranger is like a project that we started since

ten years ago when I was an university student

and I started because I photocopied a lot of

this kind o paper before the exams

after the exam we throw it all away but we just think that

That is... I mean, after we have a lot of this kind of paper

we think that we have to make full use of this kind of paper

and then we just came up with the idea to make like a brand new notebook like this

and you are gonna see that it looks like a new one

because we just hide the view side inside like this

You can see that after we got like this kind of notebook we just think that

if we make a lot, it would be better if we just give it to someone who needs it more than us

because we can not use all of them so we have a lot of this kind of notebook

so we come with the idea that we would like to donate some to the kids

that needed more than us and there is a lot in Thailand

if we have a good id eia, we would like to spread the idea to

someone who would have this kind of paper so they can come in with that

to make like a notebook, and can help the world, and can help the kids with that

So we created the mascot that's called the Paper Ranger

that is everyone can be a hero

so the Paper Ranger is you guys, not only me but

everyone can be a hero and come here to do very simple things like

turn the waste paper like this to be like a brand new notebook

and help the world, help the kids

All, until now, we made like 200 thousands notebooks to help the kids, and we

and we make this kind of project like a volunteers thing that anyone can do this

and if you come in here I'm gonna teach you how to make a notebook

even though you are old or you are very young but, it's very simple to do, so everyone can do

The drawing on the notebook is like something that connects

between the one who is doing that and the one who is gonna get that

Ah... they are not gonna meet each other but let make this kind of notebook like a medium between them

An they can connect I am not good at explaining the feeling but

but I think you can see on my face, on my passion to doing this project

I think every time I give the notebooks to the kids it's more than, I call it happy but

if you do that you are gonna know how I feel and I am being

in the middle between the one who makes the notebook and the one who is gonna get the notebook

I think it's very good position that I'm in between like, when they got this kind of notebook

we get a good feeling and I'm in between of that so I think I'm really lucky person

And that's why I keep doing this project because I think that's why I'm here in the world

I think anyone can do something good but you're just

maybe somebody afraid of to doing that can not open the door to doing something good

But I think in their heart they would like to do something good but this project is like,

to serve you like a very simple idea that you can do something good

Yeah, I think this kind of paper is all around, all around, everyone has this

we just think about this and keep doing a very simple thing and

this is making a very big impact in Thailand now so if you are in anywhere in the world

if you see this I think you can be a hero and this project started with a very simple way

I think you guys can be heroes as Paper Ranger and keep doing something good

The world need you. Yeah!

Hey guys, what's up? I'm Fabio from Petecar.

Paper Ranger is a great example of how something simple can impact someone's life.

This idea is awesome

Wonyeah: ahhh thank you so much! Lara: Caroline! Thank you so much

Again, there are more people who sent us the Brazilian snacks

Beatriz ㅇㄴㅁㄹSoaresㅁㄴㅇㄹ여기 닉쁜 본명좀 적은다음 나한테 알려줘ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Thank you so much Beatriz and Caroline!

Also big thanks for Lizandra Marinho too! (Unfortunately the parcel was lost T-T)

Beatriz sent us this one!

Sweet potato paste?

Is it something like a jam?

also we have no idea how to open it

so sadly we can't try this today

I'll ask my boyfriend how to eat this and try it later!

For today, we'll try Brazilian snacks that Caroline sent us!

She also wrote a letter for us

Hi Woo Lara! I hope you enjoy

with love, Carol!

Thank you!

First snack of the day!

Fo...fo fu la!

Lara: E assado..? Wonyeah: Onion flavor?

Does this mean it's onion flavor?

(Lara guessing) Onion.... ring....? hahahahaha

It's not onion! It's corn flaver

Let's try this

Snacks look like this

It's smaller than I expected!

In the picture it looked bigger than this but not in real

It's very salty

It isn't!

Lara: Not salty? Wonyeah: for me it's sweet

I think this is salty and definitely not the onion flavor

yeah I agree

but I don't also feel like this is the corn flavor!

Agreed

I think this is too.....

HOLLOW

It looked a bit heavy but when I put it in my mouth

It's actually small in quantity

I think it has much air in it

Also this makes us embarrassed

because it sticked to our teeth

I think this would be the perfect snack with alcohol

Oh right..!

Time to rate!

Out of five.... I would give

Wonyeah: I would give four!

Lara: Why is that? Wonyeah: It's very good but it's too sticky

hmm I would also give 4

I usually enjoy this kind of salty flavored snacks

But just like you said, it's too sticky It sticks to my whole teeth!

other than that, it was perfect I like this

I also like salty snacks

4 average points for Fofura!

~checking~

Second snack! As soon as I saw this

I knew I would love this snack no matter what

opps it was the opposite

This side is right!

Nikito!

Nikito! It sounds cute

(trying to read Portuguese)

So it's a chocolate biscuit

What...? How do I open this?

I can already smell the rich chocolate

Wonyeah: This is my taste Lara: PERFECT

Wonyeah: I mean... I ... wait.

There was no doubt. Five points!

I also think every person on earth would like this snack

Just you can't resist this chocolate snack

Five points for Nikito

I'll choose the next one! This! Torcida

Yes I think it's right. Torcida Torcida~

I reeeally have no idea how to read it!

(trying to read Portuguese)

I'm really exited

Of course I like sweet snacks like this

but I like salty snacks more than that

Oaaah! A stick!

Oh this is interesting

OMG I love this!

Wonyeah: This is my cup of tea! Lara: Your cup of tea?

I can rate this already. 10 points

10 points out of 5? hahaha

How can this taste like this? I love this so much!

I don't think I've ever eaten any snacks like this flavor

It tastes like ham too

I think I can say this tastes like my childhood

A Brazilian snack that reminds her of her childhood memories in China

Even those who made this snacks wouldn't have a clue

"Ah... the taste of my homeland, China!"

This will go well with alcohol for sure

I can drink 3 or 4 cups of beer with this snack

I think I can too!

We think these two will be the perfect match with alcohol

Are you curious of alcohols in Korea?

We should film a video together

Let's rate this!

Torcida! I'll give 10 points

It's 10 points out of FIVE.

This is my favorite so far Wonyeah's life choice(Korean expression)

For my case, if we were trying this with beer

then I can also give around..... 8 points out of 5?

but since we don't have beer here, I'll give 4.....point.....

4.2

What?! It's even lower than this one!

Yes. I personally LOOOVE very sweet chocolate snacks

My favorite Starbucks coffee? Choux cream latte

This snack will be the perfect combination with beer

It would be awesome if I can buy this in Korea!

There's a special letter on the next snack

Doce de leite

It's made with milk and sugar

and it's pretty sweet. Uh huh~

WOW It's definitely super sweet I can tell it by smelling it

It smells like milk indeed

?! This is fXXking delicious

This is my favorite

This is so soft! This is the best. I can tell.

I never thought this could beat the chocolate snack!

For me, I like this but this is TOO sweet for me

For me, I like this because this is TOO sweet

8 points for this. I can only eat one piece for maximum

I can't eat more because it's too sweet

I'll give 10 points out of 5 LOL

It was, doce de leite!

BEST

When I saw this for the first time, it looked like....

snacks for old people?

Lara: The package didn't look pretty Wonyeah: like the traditional food

But I was shocked because this was just amazingly delicious

It'll be better if they can improve the package design

but it tastes amazing anyway!

Tastes awesome!

Next snack~

This one looks so special

Caroline sent us a box in the parcel

Brazil snack reaction VER.2 will be uploaded next week!

3# Probando Snacks Turcos | Türk Aburcuburlarını Deniyoruz - Duration: 9:31.

Marina: Can anyone tell me if my slippers are seen?

Everybody: No, they are not.

Claudio: Although it's the only girly thing you are wearing today!

Marina: Are you ready?

Lorena: We are

Claudio: I have been smiling for 30 min!

Marina: It's the first time there are so many people in front of the camara.

There is no place for anyone else.

Lorena: Definitely not.

Marina: Maybe you are wondering why there are so many people...The answer is: Food.

Marina: I've asked them to come and judge the Turkish sweets my friend Hikmet has sent to me.

Everybody: Thanks!

Marina: We will also drink Turkish apple&cinnamon tea.

Hector: Sent by Engin.

Lorena: Thank you so much guys!

Oscar: It seems we are attending a mass. "Let us thank the Lord, let us thank Engin..."

Lorena: I'm sure it's going to be a delicious tea. We are going to judge it too.

Marina: Are you going to judge it?

Hector: We mean we will judge the tea, not Engin

Marina: Let's start by this...

Marina: Guys...! Look at me! I see you are all looking at the camara with wide-open eyes!

Marina: The food is here!

Marina: We will start with this.

Hector: "The one who handle the honey, suck his/her fingers" (Turkish saying)

Marina: Very well!

Marina: That's for me!

Oscar: It is sticky...

Marina: We have to say "afiyet olsun"

Lorena: It has gelatine...What's around it?

Hector: It's fig, isn't it?

Lorena: No way! Is it all made of fig? I hate figs!

Hector: I thought it would be sweeter.

Lorena: I like it!

Hector: It's delicious.

Marina: The thing around it has no taste.

Lorena: Right, that's why I like it.

Hector: It's better it doesn't. It's delicious because it is not "too" sweet.

Claudio: And you can taste the nuts very good.

Hector: In fact, we have eaten it all. My points are 8/10

Claudio: 7/10

Oscar: 7/10

Lorena: 8.5 /10

Marina: 7/10

Lorena: Let me tell you the tea is fantastic. It's more delicious than the tea we drank in Istanbul.

Marina: Let's move to the next sweet.

Lorena: I want to comment that I've seen something similar in Greece.

Lorena: I'm not sure if it's the same, because I have never tried it. But it was also made of figs and pistachio.

Claudio: It has pistachio.

Marina: Yes, it does.

Hector: It also has coconut.

Marina: That too.

Lorena: Let's see if it's the same than in Greece.

Marina: It tastes of figs.

Oscar: It is so sticky. Sickly-sweet in your mouth.

Marina: It doesn't taste of coconut.

Lorena, Claudio: Nor figs.

Claudio: I thought it would be sweeter than what it is.

Marina: I thought I would like it less than I did.

Hector: I thought I would like it more.

Oscar: I thought I would like it more.

Lorena: I thought I would like it less, I have actually liked it...but I wouldn't eat it so often.

Marina: Do you want more?

Hector: I can eat it, yeah.

Claudio: One more. I like it more than the other.

Marina: Let's rank it.

Claudio: 8/10

Oscar: 3/10

Oscar: I don't like sweet things. But I'm sure there are a lot of people who does.

Hector: 6.5/10

Lorena: 6/10

Marina: 6/10

Marina: Lorena must recognize these bags.

They are supposed to be chips, we've already tried ones made of tomatoes and thyme...And this one is made of figs.

Lorena: More fig!!

Hector: We are going to end up sick of figs.

Marina: Sorry, I didn't think of it.

Hector: This is like a mass too. "Take this, all of you, and eat it"

Claudio: Lorena didn't like it.

Marina: Does it smell like figs?

Lorena & Hector: So much. So so much.

Oscar: It smells like compressed fig.

Claudio: Is it all for me?

Lorena & Oscar: It could be all for you.

Hector: Maybe the rest of us just skip it.

Claudio: I'm going to enjoy this "salami slice"

Marina: The other ones were just chips...These ones are...

Hector: It is so hard to bite.

Lorena: It's as thick as a "morcilla" (blood sausage)

Oscar: It looks like sausages.

Lorena: This is a thin cut morcilla.

Marina: Let's just try it.

Bon appétit!

Lorena: I'm not going to do the same than with the Turkish delights...

Lorena: "Excuse me, I have to go to the toilet"

Claudio: I warned you wouldn't like it.

Marina: Nobody thinks it tastes salty?

Hector: It tastes bitter for me.

Marina: It tastes sweet at first but then...What's the flavour at the end?

Hector: Sourdough.

Oscar: Stale seafood. And the more you eat, the worst it tastes. It gets worse.

Hector: The only thing I have clear is that I don't want to eat more figs in a long while.

Oscar: But it doesn't taste like figs!

Lorena: What are you saying?! You don't know what's the fig flavour!

Oscar: It can also make the stomach turn.

Lorena: Hikmet, you deserve 0 here.

Marina: Turkish friends, how are we supposed to eat this?

Hector: Maybe we have to eat it with cheese on it?

Hector: I'm looking for the ingredients.

Hector: It's written "incir chips".

Marina: "incir" means fig.

Hector: So that's it.

Marina: Thank you so much Hector. You don't need to speak Turkish to know it.

Lorena: Let's just rank it. Claudio, you start!

Claudio: 3/10

Marina: That much?!

Oscar: 2/10

Hector: 4/10

Lorena: Huge 0

Marina: 1/0

Marina: Lorena and I have good experiences with those sticks. They are usually delicious.

Marina: But...what's on it?

Lorena: It's sesame.

Marina: I don't like sesame.

Oscar: You have to smell it first, and then eat it.

Marina: Well said, Oscar.

Hector: It tastes like salty bread.

Lorena: Bread and sesame.

Marina: Are they bread sticks?

Lorena: 5/10

Lorena: It's ok, but it doesn't drive me crazy. It can be eaten.

Hector: 6/10

Oscar: 8/10. It's delicious.

Claudio: 6/10

Marina: 6/10 too

Marina: Let's judge the tea.

Lorena: 9.5/10

Hector: 9/10

Oscar: 9/10

Claudio: 9710

Marina: 9.5/10

Lorena: Engin, you have been successful.

Marina: Thank you for coming en masse to my home.

Claudio: This has been a cool experience.

Marina: Wait a moment! I'm thinking I haven't introduced you.

It's the first time you appear in my channel.

Claudio: He's an outsider! Who cares!

Oscar: I may not appear in this channel very often, but I already have Turkish sweets at home.

Lorena: And you will be wondering who this guy is?

Marina: Thanks,Lorena. His name is "Oscar"

Oscar: Hi. I'm Oscar.

Hector: Marina, don't take part in this.

Oscar: Why don't you stay in silence?

Hector: You have screwed it.

Oscar: Why did you have to screw it?

Claudio: If I stay in silence because I will screw it, why don't you do the same?

Oscar: Just pretend it's not your channel!

Marina: How do you want me to introduce you?

Oscar: It's fine like that, you are the boss. Or do I introduce myself?

Marina: "Excuse me..."?

Oscar: Excuse me, I've got into her video. I'm Oscar, Lorena's husband.

Oscar: "Lorena Navarrete II" Follow her channel.

Marina: So he has all the right to be in this video!

He's Claudio's neighbour, Lorena's husband...

He's nothing for us, but...

Lorena: Isn't he your friend?

Claudio: Oh yes, he has all the right in the world!

Claudio: So funny...

Claudio: She even says "he is nothing for me". "I found him in the street and brought him home"

Marina: This is ridiculous.

Oscar: I just want to say it has been a pleasure to collaborate with such nice people.

Claudio: And serious people too.

Lorena: Come, come, it's over now sweety...

Claudio: Even if she says we have rights but we are nothing.

Oscar: I had fun despite of everything

Lorena: Ok guys! I'm going to say goodbye, because it is my duty every time I come to Marina's channel.

It was a pleasure Claudio, Oscar, Hector, Marina.

Oscar: Click on LIKE if you liked it.

Claudio: Don't hesitate to leave a sexy comment for Marina, she "loves" them.

Hector: You know you are free and we ...

Lorena: You are not slaves! You are free!

Hector: We invite you to suscribe to Marina's channel (gamzelimarina) and Lorena's (Lorena Navarrete II)

Lorena: That's right.

Marina: What a nice team! It was not planned and the result has been perfect.

Marina: I just say bye.

Marina: It's not like that!

the Bible ... We must look at the results, the consequences ...

For Medjugorje millions of pilgrims ... For Lourdes, cures in shambles ...

For Fatima verified secrets ... For the Rue du Bac the diffusion of the medal

For the island bouchard the protection of the

La France... For Salette the catastrophic state of

world and church ...

It seems that since 100 ... 150 years Marie is very present ...

I think that since the Rue du Bac ... Marie entered a fight against the

Wrong …

She started by limiting the breakage with the miraculous medal ...

Besides, she is still effective ... I myself have obtained great grace ...

Then with Fatima, she fought the countries which forbade religion

And finally in Medjugorje, she learns from Men praying for victory

photo of miracle ...

We all experienced discovering something extraordinary in the

nature. Today I was able to gather very beautiful heart images that have been

found in nature ... open up your eyes ...

Super awesome ... well yeah that's not bad ...
