Hey Guys! Patrick Smith from VisionMiner.com and today we're doing an unboxing of the

INTAMSYS Funmat HT

we're gonna be opening this up, seeing all the accessories that come with

it from the factory, get it on the table, and go through the steps to get to our

first successful print. So we're gonna go ahead and get started right now

I'm gonna have my buddies Rob and Josh come in to help me lift -- the machines a little bit

heavy, so we'll have them help -- we'll get this out and get it onto the table

come on in guys!

you notice the lid comes off, you have the QuickStart guide

right here, set that to the side...

you'll notice the sides just slide right off

then we got the foam top layer

Nice, looks good! Alright if you guys can get that up

on the table I'll hold the foam

there we go! awesome nice guys so there you have

it fun matte HT this thing is beautiful guys now as you notice it's a little bit

heavy and I actually like that because it makes it more robust more industrial

feeling you'll see some smaller machines made of plastic and stuff that move

around they don't really have a bunch of weight to it so I do like the

engineering and the design on this so let's go ahead and we'll dive into the

next step which is unpacking all this stuff what I like to do is take the

doors off it's a really cool feature super easy and you've got some latches

right in here just pull this down that pops out and I'll set this to the side

and then I'll go ahead and take the top one off use that same way allows us to

work around the Machine much easier so the first thing we want to do is go

ahead and take out these are the accessories so we're gonna take out this

first lever here first leer you notice press down a little bit to clear this

nut right there just slide it out and bam I got that awesome set that right

there and then the second one it's perfect

we got that now what we're gonna do is we're gonna manually turn the ball screw

on the z-axis so that we can lower this bed the styrofoam goes up and wrapped

around the extruder itself I also mentioned the X and Y axis are locked in

place with some screws and some clamps to keep it from moving during shipment

so I'm going to start turning this to get it lowered down there we go

and then you can grab the back of it and then as you're turning you can help pull

it down and there okay now we should be able to take this off

perfect clears the nozzle and that comes right out we'll set that to the side too

so let's move on to the packages and accessories and see what we have

included in there so I'll bring this one over first thing we got USB card reader

power cable got the USB wire this will plug into the side right here for when

we need to do firmware updates got the seven millimeter wrench that's going to

be used to get these screws up here to take those locks off of the X&Y axis and

also fit the nozzles so we can do quick nozzle changes comes with the SD card

you'll be able to use that to put your files on and then slide the SD card

right in here when you're ready to print a nice pair of gloves these are heat

resistant gloves they'll come in very handy especially working around peak and

the temperatures of the build plates and such so that's a nice added gift

we have in here a leveling card which you can lay this card right here on the

bed or the print glass and when you're doing

your bed leveling you can use that but don't use this when doing peak because

the temperature 160 degree print bread will melt this so this is just for PLA

so set that to the side and then the last thing we have in here is two pieces

of frosted glass that's for your print bed this is a really nice feature

because they give us two of them which will come in handy if we accidentally

break when it's happened in the past with me last thing you want to do is be

waiting days for the new print glass to arrive so it's really cool that they

send two so awesome that completes that let's go ahead and see what we have in

this one here nice guys this is the instructions for the Wi-Fi cam we have

two nozzles two hot ends we already have the cold in that comes with it so it

comes with another hot end and it comes with a spare hot end comes with a pair

of flush cutters those come in real handy for cutting the filament and stuff

like that spatula we're popping prints off the print glass a couple zip ties

and then we have the wrench pair of tweezers nice little feature those come

in handy for grabbing little things too extra gears three nozzles the correct

allen wrenches that we need and then here is the extruder so there you have

it guys that's all the accessories that come with it we're gonna go ahead and

move into the next part which is prepping the extruder and getting the

machine ready for its first print you may have seen the footage over there

when we first did it those clamps that are on the X and y-axis and this is what

holds the extruder in place to keep it moving around during shipment so we're

just gonna go in there we got the seven millimeter nut driver that it came with

and the three millimeter Allen's group so I already took three of them off I

left one to show you guys exactly how to do it we're gonna go in there

and you'll see get the nut I'm just gonna hold the bottom with my finger

right there and start undoing this that nut came right off take the washer off

let the screw fall out damn got those set those to the side

I'll keep these in the package just in case I ever have to send this in for

service or maintenance and then I like to take these needlenose and I'm just

going to spread that apart to get it off of the bar so now we got this off guys

all four of them and we can move on to the next part which is putting the

extruder in place there's two screws currently in there so we're gonna remove

those two screws with the three mil hex wrench here loosened up there we go do

it with their fingers get these out and then let's get

that one okay so now let's take the extruder here guys this is going to be

the plug with all the power cables that plugs in there it's really nice one plug

system so we can quickly easily remove this we're gonna take those two screws

and it's gonna go right through here so you'll notice that there's also a hole

on the bottom here guys I don't know if you can see that on camera this is where

the feed tube right there is gonna go right into that hole and very easily I'm

gonna run this wire straight through here and then plug it in right there so

that's good and be careful I like to keep one hand on this until I get those

first two screws we removed and we're just gonna get those right back in get

one started pick this one started and now I can tighten these up with the

allen wrench I like to get them down where they're a little bit snug and they

kind of go crisscross Chris class like you're tightening a tire and then once

they're good we can give it the final tightening be careful not to I mean it's

it's going in to steal but just be careful that you don't strip the threads

you want it tight enough but don't crank down on it

okay and that's it last thing we can do we take some of those zip ties that came

with it and I'm going to secure these three cables together right here keep

those cables nice and snug take the flush cutters that came with it to cut

off the excess of the zip tie bingo and then lastly don't forget this piece

right here your tube and that just slides right in

alright so guys as you see really easy quick couple steps to get this up and

ready now I'm gonna go ahead and plug it in turn the power switch on it'll boot

up put the plate-glass on there and then we'll home the access and we'll be ready

to start printing got my plug right here power switch nice see that's booting up

already grab the frosted glass slide that in

make sure it's nice and tight up against this rail here and latch it down awesome

now we'll come up here this is the home screen so we're going to tap on AXI and

then we're gonna go to home are you sure you went to home all axes yes

ZX is coming up gonna hit the limits which omit perfect nice awesome guys so

there you have it as you see it's not hard at all to get straight out of the

box onto the desk and ready for the first print guys I hope this makes it

easy gives you a little bit of idea what comes with the fund amount HT how easy

Photoshop: How to Create a Dramatic Red / Blue Face Portrait - Duration: 5:21.

Hi. This is Marty from Blue Lightning TV.

I'm going to show you a quick way to create a dramatic red / blue face portrait.

If you haven't yet subscribed to my channel, hit the "Subscribe" button a the lower right.

Open a sharp, high-resolution photo of a face that you'd like to use for this project.

I downloaded this one from Dreamstime.com.

You'll get the best results if your subject facing forward and is dramatically lit from

both sides of the face.

It'll also look best if your subject is on a black background.

If it isn't, make a selection around your subject, so you can separate it from its background.

There are many ways to do this and I've covered all of them in my previous tutorials, so to

save time, I won't be going over them here.

Even though this subject is already on a black background, I made a selection around it to

show you what to do next.

Once you make the selection around your subject, click the layer mask icon to make a layer

mask next to the subject.

Make a new layer below it, by Ctrl-clicking or Cmd-clicking the New Layer icon.

We'll fill the empty layer with black, but first, check your foreground and background colors.

If they aren't black and white respectively, press "D" on your keyboard.

Since black is your foreground color, press Alt or Option + Delete.

We'll convert our image into a Smart Object, so we can modify it non-destructively and

replace it with another without having to redo the effects.To do this, Shift-click the

top layer to make it active as well, and open the fly-out list.

Click "Convert to Smart Object".

Make 2 copies of it by pressing Ctrl or Cmd + J twice.

Name the bottom layer, "Red", the middle layer, "Blue" and the top layer, "Overlay".

Click the eyeball icons next to the Overlay layer and the Blue layer to temporarily hide

them and make the Red layer active.

Double-click an empty area next to it to open its Layer Style window.

In "Advanced Blending", uncheck the Green and Blue channels.

We'll convert this into a smart object which will show our red image as a layer.

To do this, click the New Layer icon to make a new layer.

Shift-click the Red layer to make it active as well, and click the icon at the upper right corner.

Click "Convert to Smart Object".

Now, our red layer is truly red.

Temporarily hide the layer and make the middle layer visible.

Double-click an empty areas of this layer to open its Layer Style window

and uncheck the red channel.

We'll convert this into a Smart Object, as well.

Make a new layer, Shift-click the "Blue" layer and convert them into one Smart Object.

We now see a blue layer.

Make the Red layer visible and make the top layer visible and active.

Change its Blend Mode to "Overlay" and reduce its opacity to 50%.

Make the Blue layer active and click the Layer Mask icon to make a layer mask next to it.

Open your Gradient Tool and make sure the Linear gradient icon is active.

Open your gradient thumbnails and click the black and white thumbnail.

Place your cursor on the left cheek and press and hold the Shift key as you drag the tool

to the right cheek.

Then, release.

Lastly, we'll add a filter that will make our portrait sharper, brighter and give it a bit of texture.

To do this, first, we'll convert all the layers into a Smart Object.

Go to Filter and "Filter Gallery".

Open the Artistic folder and click "Paint Daubs".

Make the Brush Size: 1, the Sharpness: 14 and the Brush Type: Simple.

Man Citys title celebrations were delayed in dramatic fashion on Saturday, but will it have ramifications ahead of Liverpools trip to the Etihad?.

Having been thumped 3-0 at Anfield in a thrilling Champions League quarter-final first leg on Wednesday night, Pep Guardiolas side had something to fall back on this weekend.

A Premier League victory at home to bitter rivals Man United would secure the title, but things didnt pan out the way they would have hoped.

Guardiola made four changes to his side in order to keep a freshness to his squad, with Kevin De Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus and Kyle Walker the most notable absentees from the Anfield clash.

A stunning first-half performance saw Vincent Kompany and Ilkay Gundogan fire City into a 2-0 lead, but they fell to pieces after the break.

We never like to be too praiseworthy of United, but in fairness they were excellent in the second half, producing an unlikely comeback to win 3-2 and spoil the party.

United arent one to do Liverpool too many favours, but the hope is that they have destroyed Citys confidence ahead of Tuesdays second leg.

The players lost their heads towards the end of the game, and for the first time this season chinks in their armour have started to appear.

The one thing that the Reds must avoid, however, is over-confidence, with the tie a long way from being over, and City like to come flying out of the traps.

This is particularly salient given the frustration surrounding Liverpools plans for Mondays preparations, with Jurgen Klopp forced to travel to the Etihad for media duties before returning to Melwood for training.

An early goal for the hosts would change everything, and it will be another stern examination of Klopps sides mettle.

It will be interesting to see who Guardiola lines up with, too, following some questionable tactical decisions at Anfield.

Sergio Aguero is likely to start, given his big-game pedigree, while former Reds youth Raheem Sterling will also hope to be more involved, with Gundogan a surprise inclusion on the right wing at Anfield.

Trump Advisor Navarro Destroys 'Sleepy Eyes' Chuck Todd In Brutal Fashion.

"Sleepy eyes" Chuck Todd was at it again on Sunday, using his platform on "Meet The

Press" to attack President Donald Trump and his White House staff.

Toward the end of his interview with White House trade advisor Peter Navarro, Todd mentioned

a Washington Post story that said Chief of Staff John Kelly was considering quitting

and asked for a comment.

Big Mistake.

Chuck Todd blindsided Peter Navarro, who was on the show to discuss the trade war with

China that is developing.

Todd read an excerpt from the Post story that said, "Kelly has threatened to resign on

multiple occasions — 'It's sort of a weekly event,' one senior White House official

quipped — though officials explained his declarations as expressions of momentary frustration."

Todd followed that by asking "Have you heard of John Kelly threatening to resign Mr. Navarro

and can you say whether the president still has confidence in him?"

If Todd thought that he was going to shake Navarro, he was gravely mistaken.

The advisor shot back with the brutal truth.

"Every day of his adult life, John Kelly's gotten up in the morning to serve America,"

Navarro said.

"He's a great man, a courageous man.

He serves the President, he has the President's ear, he runs the West Wing well.

That's all I know, that's all I see."

"He has the confidence of the president," Navarro said.

"He's getting the job done, and when you read stuff in the Washington Post, frankly,

that's fake news most of the time."

That comment ruffled the feathers of Todd who got visibly angry and fired back at Navarro.

"I think that expression is a pretty unfair thing to say about a major news organization,"

Todd said.

"That's a cheap shot."

Todd tried to cut it off there, but Navarro was not about to be bullied by "sleepy eyes"

Todd.

"Mr. Todd that is not a cheap shot," Navarro fired back.

"Because if you look at the newspapers that I read every day across the spectrum, the

Washington Post, in my judgment, tends to attack the President more than any other newspaper

in its news stories.

You can do anything you want in your editorials, sir, but you cannot do that in your news stories."

Desperate, Chuck Todd found a way to bring Russia into the conversation to help defend

his position.

"The term fake news is not exactly a way to hold up the First Amendment, especially

when the Russian government, just this morning, is using that phrase," Todd said.

The news that Chuck Todd was talking about was the Russian government claiming that reports

of a chemical attack by the Syrian government on the people in eastern Ghouta that killed

35 people were "fake news."

smashed Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday and vowed that there would be a "big

price" to pay for the attack.

Liverpool midfielder James Milner insists the coordinated approach to the team's defensive organisation will be key to keeping Man City at bay in the Champions League.

The Reds take a 3-0 lead to the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday for the second leg of their quarter-final, knowing a clean sheet will put them into the last four of the competition for the first time since 2007.

That is part of the midfield job and it's been part of my game being able to cover ground and it is something that's needed in this team.

We are always pressing and you can't leave your mate to press on his own, you have to press in numbers and if one person doesn't do their job or get on the front foot and cover the ground and close the gap then the team gets out and you are under pressure.

Everyone puts a shift in and it's very easy to see when someone isn't doing it—and it doesn't happen very often.

Manchester United have been warned that they face a massive summer in the transfer market, with Ryan Giggs seeing a big gap to be closed on Manchester City.

Roger Stone, has been a political consultant and advisor to Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan,

and Donald Trump has now revealed that he was almost killed after being poisoned with

what doctors believe may have been Polonium.

Appearing on the Alex Jones Show multiple times Stone detailed this unbelievable, but

credible, assassination attempt, including that he had originally thought that he had

a simple stomach virus before becoming extremely ill.

Stone explained that he became extremely ill.

In what manifested itself in over 14 days of high fevers, delirium and night sweats.

Along with lesions on his chest and face.

He had extreme diarrhea and vomiting that could not be stopped with traditional medication.

He became exceedingly dehydrated and ultimately had to be hydrated with IV and saline injections

in the hospital.

Stone later added that the general consensus by the doctors who treated him was that he

was in fact poisoned.

He was poisoned with a substance that may have been Polonium or had the characteristics

of Polonium which made him increasingly ill to the point that if he wouldn't have received

medical help he wouldn't have survived the ordeal.

In a later interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN, he confirmed that he knew who did

but wasn't ready to call out names.

All he confirmed was that 50% of the nation pretty much wanted him dead after he helped

President Trump win the 2016 election against Hillary Clinton.

Roger Stone's poisoning claims first started to gain steam in a February 2017 interview

with Time Magazine's Alex Altman.

Where he explained what he had gone through for the first time after recovering from the

ordeal.

Stones narrative isn't far-fetched especially after the confirmed poisoning of Sergei Skripal

and his daughter, Yulia, which has triggered a diplomatic crisis between Russia and the

West.

Britain and dozens of other countries, including the United States, have expelled more than

150 Russian diplomats in a show of solidarity.

In retaliation, Russia ordered the expulsion of Western diplomats from embassies in Moscow

and ordered closures of consulates, including the U.S. embassy in Saint Petersburg.

"For more than a year, Roger Stone has asserted that he spent Christmas of 2016 trying to

survive an assassination attempt – most likely radioactive polonium poisoning – by

someone trying to frame Russia.

Tests were conducted; doctors were baffled, the longtime political operative and adviser

to Donald Trump told journalists.

Even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention was contacted.

But from the moment he made the claims, Stone has deflected questions when asked to back

up his claims.

It happened again on Friday, during a wide-ranging conversation with CNN's Anderson Cooper

on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange and Trump.

At one point Cooper said he had questions about Stone's polonium assertions.

"I was extraordinarily ill," Stone told Cooper, before referring to pictures of his

face during the period."

You can see in the file footage that you used at the beginning of the segment that I still

have lesions on my face from that illness.

My doctor believed I was poisoned.

They believed initially that there was some radioactive element to that.

I've never been this sick in my life."

But Stone wouldn't go into detail when Cooper asked for proof, even when the host insisted

that "Polonium poisoning, that would be a huge issue in the United States if someone

was poisoned with polonium."

Still, Stone resisted: "I don't think my health is of great interest to the American

people other than the half of them that just wish I would drop dead."

He directed viewers to "my Infowars report on it."

The Alex Jones-hosted website airs conspiracy theories.

Stone could not be immediately reached for comment by The Post on Saturday.

As Stone spoke on CNN, an ocean away, a former Russian spy and his daughter were recovering

from a poisoning attempt in a British town that the British government says points to

Russia.

The poisoning last month of Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, has triggered a diplomatic

crisis between Russia and the West.

Britain and dozens of other countries, including the United States, have expelled more than

150 Russian diplomats in a show of solidarity.

Russia, in turn, has ordered the expulsion of Western diplomats from embassies in Moscow

and ordered closures of consulates, including the U.S. facility in Saint Petersburg.

The Skripals were found unconscious on a public bench in Salisbury.

He is a 66-year-old former colonel in Russia's military intelligence service who was convicted

of helping British agents, then freed in a spy swap.

She is a 33-year-old who had just dined with her father at a restaurant named Zizzi.

Police said the father and daughter were "targeted specifically" with a nerve agent.

Officials have not publicly identified the nerve agent, but they have found traces of

it at the restaurant, according to The Associated Press.

Russia has countered, bizarrely, alleging a conspiracy involving two dead guinea pigs

and a dead cat.

And like Stone, the Russians assert that the Skripals poisoning was an effort to frame

Moscow.

Stone's poisoning claims first gained steam in a February 2017 interview with Time Magazine's

Alex Altman.

"I got progressively worse.

For almost 17 days in a row, I had a fever of over 100.

I went to the hospital.

They conducted blood tests.

They were baffled.

Blood tests went to the CDC.

They found an exogenous substance in my blood that had the characteristics of polonium,"

he said.

Like Cooper, Altman asked for proof.

Stone told him "there would be too many suspects" to figure out who'd want to

murder him.

He did, however, push a theory about a possible motive: "The Senate Intelligence Committee

was going to have hearings.

I could see why some people might not want me to do so.

You know, you bump off Stone, make it look like the Russians did it: 'Wow, the Russians

killed their agent because he was going to spill his guts in Congress.'

Just a theory.

Is RiceGum A Bad Rapper? - Duration: 21:35.

Now guys, you may notice I actually have a bit of a cold coming on so I might sounds

a bit congested, but I think that's pretty fitting for a video about RiceGum.

So welcome back to another video analysing a YouTube rapper. And we will be looking at

RiceGum, the man who flexes so much that's it's surprising he only has 2 grams of muscle

mass. Now I know what you guys are thinking, the answer to the title is obviously "no"

right? Well, yeah it pretty much is, but as always this video isn't about the answer,

but more about looking at where Rice's Music succeeds and where it fails. At this point

in time, RiceGum has 5 songs on Apple Music, so I decided in this video, I'm going to

listen to each one and give my detailed thoughts on every single one. I also have help from

my twin, CDTVThaG in this video who is going to be reacting to certain parts of the songs

before I critique them, so make sure to subscribe to his channel. With that being said guys,

this is CDTVProductions and is RiceGum a bad rapper? Let's talk about it.

RiceGum - It's Every Night Sis (feat. Alissa Violet)

So this is the first YouTube rap song to go platinum? I guess the bar is pretty low. Now

no disrespect, that's legitimately an achievement, and I commend Rice for it. I just don't

understand why this is his most played song. This video isn't about Alissa Violet so

I won't speak on her part for too long, all I'll say is it's grating to listen

to. Could someone not teach her how to deliver rap lyrics properly, her voice is so thin

and kinda shrill, and it just cuts right through my ears. That's all I have to say on her,

so let's talk about RiceGum. He starts this song off with, the least confident and most

awkward sounding ay flow I've ever heard. Like put some force behind your "aye's"

man, it's kinda embarrassing to listen to. I also noticed that it would probably help

if he punched in his lyrics a bit more. Punching in if you don't know is basically when you

stop the recording of a line and start a new one, so you can make each line sound more

powerful or catch your breath, and the mixing should make it all sound like it's recorded

in one take. Rice should probably do that more, because listen to how he kinda runs

out of breath and delivers the last words of these lines in the most lacklustre ways

and you can hear him take a breath at the end. You can hear that those lines really

don't have the force that they should. What I'm tryna say is his delivery could really

use some work, it's not that good on this track. It sounds un-confident and rushed.

Lyrically this song isn't too bad, and functions decently as a diss track. I like how he said

no one knows about Jake Paul's Disney Show, because that's honestly kinda true, "I

ain't wanna make her wet then maybe put some rice on it" was quite witty wordplay,

and I really like how he referenced and dissed Jake Paul's past as a bully, even though

RiceGum's whole come up is based on insulting people, kids in particular. But yeah, the

disses are decent enough here, and there's no lines that stand out as particularly dumb.

So It is decent in terms of lyrics, but I think in terms of how it actually sounds,

this one is pretty bad. Out of all the RiceGum songs, I don't understand how this is his

most popular, because sonically it's one of his worst. And like I said, Alissa Violet

is so bad in the most amateur way. On top of that, the beat is just very simplistic

and standard trap. Not a fan of this song to be honest.

RiceGum - Frick Da Police

(First Reaction)

So we're gonna look at this song purely as a diss track at first, just from a lyrical

standpoint, and as a diss track, this is just abysmal, misses the point of Idubbbz's video

against Rice, and failed to really throw any solid punches at Idubbbz. Then again, I'm

not surprised Rice can't throw any solid punches, remember, 2 grams of muscle and all

that. Now Idubbbz had some nice wordplay in his diss tracks, and insults that actually

had some sting. But let's have a look at some of RiceGum's responses.

What? You asked Idubbbz to make the content cop. And he did it. So he's obsessed with

you now? It's 30 minutes long because he took time to research and make an entertaining

well made video. And it also becomes kinda hypocritical when you notice Rice would follow

up by making 4 or 5 videos on Idubbbz about the situation. Who's "obsessed" now?

One of Idubbbz point was that you flex too much. So you proved it to him, by flexing

on this track? Great logic. A diss track really shouldn't prove the points the other person

made against you. I

actually kinda like this line. Now whilst he admits that he is flexing here, and it's

kind of an excuse for it, I think it's a catchy line and it's at least well put together.

It's good because it relates to a lot of people too. I'm sure a lot of people would buy expensive

stuff and show it off if they were millionaires, so I did like this one. This is one of the

only good lines in the song, as he's justifying something Idubbbz criticised him for. Compliments

to whoever wrote it. Then if you look at the actual disses Rice

made at Ian and his appearance, it's all stuff Idubbbz has already said about himself,

and that takes away the impact of all of it. So lyrically, this track is actually very

weak with only like two or three nice lines that don't miss the point.

But now let's move on to how this track sounds, and I can't lie guys, this song

actually kinda bumps. I mean it's very well produced, it's got a bit of a dark sound

to it and the drums really hit hard and Rice's flow is actually fitted to the drums very

well. Lyrically like I said, this song is garbage, but it's actually one of Rice's

catchiest songs in my opinion. I think in terms of how it sounds, this is one of his

strongest tracks. The only thing holding it back again is that his congested voice really

doesn't fit well with rapping, but his delivery sounds more confident here which is respectable.

Overall, I think this song is decent. It's pretty strong in some areas and is kinda replayable,

but then if you remember it's a diss track you realise it completely fails at what it's

main function should be.

RiceGum - Naughty Or Nice

(First Reaction)

This one is pretty interesting, as it's the only auto-crooning style song that Rice

has released so far. And I can't lie, as a fun Christmas song, I kinda enjoy the vibe

of this one. As always, Rice's delivery could really use work, but the autotune actually

does his voice some favours. And come on guys, you can't deny that the chorus on this thing

is pretty catchy. Maybe the verse could use some work though. The verse on here has an

alright flow, I just don't like how there isn't really too much of a melody to it,

because Rice keeps the autotune on for the verses, but it doesn't really do much for

him when he's just kinda dragging out his syllables in one tone, instead of coming up

with a new melody. It just sounds a bit lifeless. I also don't know why he felt the need to

diss Jake Paul on a Christmas song, calling him a p*$$ay, which just isn't very festive.

Honestly it's kinda lazy too, because the line is just taken from the song Ice Tray

by Quavo, ad lib and all. I don't care if it's a reference, at least put some effort

in if you're gonna throw a diss line. It's got some very beginner level metaphors and

similes throughout, but this one I feel is more about the vibes. I'd say it's a very

average song, but the hook on its own is pretty damn nice, and I hate to say it, but it did

get stuck in my head for a while. Good hook, kinda dull verse, I'd say it's better

than Its Every Night Sis, but I prefer the sound of Frick Da Police.

RiceGum - God Church

This one I'm just not a huge fan of, because it has one of my least favourite beats that

Rice has used. It's like a slightly more complex DJ Mustard beat. Combine a beat that

I don't really like with RiceGum delivering his lyrics like he constantly has a cold and

it's not a good combination. That's all I can really say about how it

sounds, but I'd go as far to call this his best written track. I'd actually consider

this as a good rap song lyrically, and that's a massive compliment when I'm talking about

Rice (or whoever writes for him). There's just so many bars that have fairly good metaphors

and punchlines here, and I actually like that I can listen to these lines and respect them.

This one is targeted and Tanner Fox, and mentions the fact that he's only 17, whilst his "most

likely" gold digging girlfriend is in her 20's, which is something I'm sure we all

find a little bit suspect. I mean the roasts are kind of what you'd expect, there's

not really any new info about Tanner Fox in here, but it was done pretty well in my opinion.

And even if you heavily dislike RiceGum, you have to admit "verified cause all these

checks that I blew/blue" is a dope bar. So yeah, not badly written at all which I

can appreciate, but sonically it's just a track I don't wanna revisit. The beat

is below average and Rice's voice is a bit of an obstacle

for me.

RiceGum - Bitcoin

(First Reaction)

Let me get into this little tangent real quick. I'm not tryna brag for Rice, he does that

enough himself, but you are a millionaire my dude, and you still can't get decent

cover art? I'm not saying anything about how seriously he takes rap, but surely someone

who can readily afford it would invest in cover art that doesn't look bad for his

rap songs. This one for Bitcoin is the definition of a YouTube rapper song cover.

So I guess he just told his ghostwriter to imitate Drake's style with this one? It's

not like it's a spitting image of Drake's sound but that's the immediate vibe I got

from how this track sounded. So this one is a diss track aimed at Danielle Bregoli, and

is Rice's most recent track. And the fact that it's his most recent song kinda confuses

me, because for some reason this track has one of his most awkward sounding flows throughout

the whole thing. It sounds incredibly beginner level. On many lines throughout the song,

you'll hear him awkwardly dragging out syllables so that his lines fit to the beat, and it

gives it a really uneasy feel. I mean listen to these lines in particular. I thought you

were supposed to improve over time, not regress. Those lines are flowed like a complete novice.

Now again, looking at the lyrics, it does take Rice a while to actually get to the disses,

like listening to the first minute you wouldn't even know it's a diss song, but when he

gets around to it, this song does have some of his nicest wordplay. Not a huge compliment

as his wordplay is often basic, but I won't discredit the cool lines on here. "Came

straight out of LV now LV's on the bag" was a nice brag, and "this outfit on me

cost a bitcoin" is a line I don't think I've heard anywhere else either. Also, I

couldn't agree with the line "how are you 14 with rumours that you sleep around"

more. Honestly this Came off as one of Rice's Stronger diss tracks. It's not amazing,

but he actually threw some hard shots on here, even referring to Danielle not being in contact

with her dad. Lyrically, it's probably the second best track we've looked at so far,

but the awkward ass flow makes it a much worse track than it should be. It's a little uncomfortable

to listen to. There is a cool part where Rice uses autotune here and does a little bit of

vocal layering and that does sound fairly good, but most of the song just sounds meh.

It's an alright song, but it's weird to see him moving back in terms of confidence

and ability instead of forward.

Overall Thoughts + Conclusion:

So overall from this whole experience, I have to be honest, it makes it appear as if RiceGum

doesn't take rap very seriously. To me, it just seems like another platform to make

money, because even these commercially released songs can come across as pretty amateur. You'd

think a millionaire could easily make all his songs sound incredibly polished, but I

guess money can't buy everything. His flow still isn't on point, and the only song

he sounded passionate in was Frick Da Police, and that's a shame because even that was

lyrically his weakest track. I think it's undoubtedly a fact that Rice is a below average

rapper, and that's not me saying you can't enjoy his music, because you have every right

to, but looking at him technically as a rapper he's just not that great. I do appreciate

the implementation if wordplay into his music, even if a lot of it is rather basic, there's

still some lines that actually got me slightly impressed. But like I said, it just doesn't

seem like there's enough effort here for it to seem like Rice really enjoys making

rap music. It feels more like he enjoys making money over anything. Sure, he has improved

from the days when he started on YouTube and everything he rapped was so ridiculously offbeat

that I'm surprised he even uploaded the videos, but he still has a long ass way to

go before I even think about labeling him as a rapper. So to answer the question; is

RiceGum a bad rapper? Well, the simple answer is, I don't even consider him a rapper.

VEDA #8: Michaels Canada Haul! Late March 2018 - Duration: 8:12.

Hey guys! Today I have my first Michaels haul in quite a while for you…

I haven't set foot inside a Michaels since Boxing Day, and I never even posted that haul,

so it's probably been a solid four or five months since I posted anything from Michaels here!

As of this filming, Michaels is currently having their Lowest Price of the Season sale,

and originally I wasn't going to go - there didn't seem to be too many amazing deals,

and the few that were good, like the $30.00 paper pads being 50% off, is a deal that comes

around semi-frequently, so I wasn't that concerned.

But I've been decluttering and organizing around here a lot lately, and looking at storage

and things, and as part of the sale, craft storage was on for 60% off.

So I decided to go in and check it out, and I was looking for one specific item.

And that item was this!

[laughs] This is their new washi storage bin; I thought I'd just show you the label so

you can see what it looks like before I zoom out and show you in more detail.

I saw someone from the States show this off a month or so ago, and I really liked it.

So you can see that it's huge, it's 14.1 inches x 14.1 inches x 4.1 inches.

It just snaps open and shut…

And it's got four trays in here that are removable and stackable, and they're pretty

deep, too, which is nice.

And there's also some extra room in the front here, as well.

My washi is currently spread between four different small containers, and it's a pain

in the butt to use it that way.

So I think this sucker should hold all of my washi with no problem, but if it doesn't

I may seriously have to go back and get another one before the sale ends.

This case is regularly $54.99, but with 60% off it was on sale for $21.99.

And $55.00 for this thing is insane… but $22.00 is incredibly reasonable!

So yeah… I think I'm gonna pop all my washi into this thing tonight, and if it doesn't all

fit, run back and grab a second one for that price, because that's a good price for a

lot of storage!

Speaking of washi, I found a deal there that I did not see advertised in the app, which

was buy two, get one free on tubes of washi.

I believe these are the tubes that used to be $15.00 each?

But their regular price has dropped down to $12.00, which is nice.

So while I originally had no intention of buying any washi while I was there, I did

the math on this deal, and the three tubes of washi for $24.00 works out to $8.00 a tube,

and each tube has eight rolls in it, so that's $1.00 a tube [roll].

And very rarely can you ever find washi for that cheap at Michaels, so I went with it.

I got this pretty blue & pink one here, which I'm pretty sure I didn't have yet, but

I'm also going to double-check before I open it!

[laughs] I think it's just one that I've been eyeing off and on for a while now, so

it looks familiar…

I'm pretty sure I don't have this one yet!

… and then I also got these two food-themed tubes, simply because I don't have a lot

of washi like this, and I couldn't choose between the two - there were designs in both

that I really liked, so I got both.

The Backyard Table collection was on for 40% off, and initially I didn't see anything

that I liked enough to get… but then I saw these die cuts.

They are so pretty and cute; there's like butterflies and other insects there; there's

a cat with a flower on its head, and I'm not sure what else is in there, but other

floral-type things; and then there's some food & drink-type die cuts here.

I just thought it was really, really sweet… 35 pieces.

So these were regular $7.49, on sale for $4.49.

Then I was looking at the paper pads, and they were advertising the paper pads as "Almost

all paper pads on sale for 50% off".

Now, silly me thought the "almost" part applied to the Hot Buy pads, because that's

usually what it refers to.

And again I was looking for something that I had seen someone in the States haul, which

was the 8.5x5.5, or something like that, sized paper pads, which are essentially A5-sized,

and the sheets can pretty much fit right into your planner, bullet journal, etc.

I really wanted to check those out, but they literally only had one, and it didn't interest

me enough to get it.

But then I saw these 3.5x6 paper pads, and I checked them out… and they're pretty

much just pads of cut aparts, and I was SO stoked, that is so awesome!

They're regular $10.49, and they had four designs that I really liked, and silly me

thought they were half off, so I grabbed all four…

… and thankfully, I was smart enough to scan them at a price checker, and no… they

were not part of the sale.

I was SO disappointed.

So disappointed!

So I begrudgingly put three of them back, and used my 50% off coupon to pick up this

"Punderful" pad for $5.24.

So yeah, I really love this, and I think that's going to be my new goal/wish list thing now

- when there's a coupon for 50% off or more out, I'll go back and grab another one of these,

to get all the designs that I liked, because these are great!

So that was everything for the sale proper, and then of course I had to go check out the

clearance items… there was a whole end cap full of Halloween stickers, but I behaved

myself and I only picked up two.

I got these Momenta stickers that were regular $5.99, on clearance for $1.99, and these Jolee's

Boutique stickers that were regular 7.49, on clearance for $2.49.

Poking through the more general clearance area, I found these die cut shapes that were

regular $2.99, on clearance for $0.79, and in hindsight I'm regretting not picking

up the second set that was there, but oh well...

I got these two sets of "novelty bling"; they were regular $7.49 each, on clearance

for $1.99 each.

You may recognize these two sets of… well, I call them Frenchie planner stickers, 'cause

there's a Frech bulldog on each other them.

If you remember, I hauled them both at full price back in the late spring or early summer,

and then felt guilty for paying full price and returned them…

well, they're on clearance now, so no guilt here! [laughs] They were regular $7.49 each,

I believe, and they were on clearance for $2.19 each.

And then there was this one item that I absolutely could not pass up… are you ready for this?

Boom. [laughs]

This is a Project Life core kit, the "Cottage Living Edition".

This is an item that regularly sells for $41.99, and it was on clearance for $16.99.

One-six. [laughs]

$42.00 down to $17.00.

And it's sealed, it doesn't appear to be damaged or anything… and it was just

sitting there.

I was shocked.

And I think the cashier was too, because I saw her pause for half a second when she rang

it up! [laughs]

So check this out - it comes with 576 cards.

This is like if you're starting a Project Life album; it's for, basically, being able

to do a whole album if you wanted to.

It comes with 468 double-sided 3x4 journalling cards; 36 double-sided 4x6 journalling cards;

56 4x6 title cards; 8 first page cards, four of which are 4x6 and four of which are 3x4;

and 8 last page cards, four of which are 4x6 and four of which are 3x4.

Yeah [laughs]. I… yeah.

All that for $16.99!

I cannot believe it, at all!

So I may have spent a bit more than I'd expected to spend, and I definitely spent

more than I should have spent, but I'd say the deals were worth it!

I'd say that this was a good first Michaels trip in three months, wouldn't you? [laughs]

Hi there guys thank you so much for tuning in to this channel if it is your

first time a very good welcome to you all if you want to know how I went from

this to this right here stay tuned not bad so I am going to

explain to you guys what I did

gel and I use this one here and you want to make sure that it has glycerin I

believe that's how you pronounce it so I just went ahead and I used this Jojoba oil

I said anything that has the nozzel or you can use even castor oil or just mix

your favorite oils because you want to see to it that wherever your parts are

or wherever it is that your cornrows are you want to always oil your scalp right

and keep your hair the whole point of protective styles or the whole point why

I do it is to protect my own hair but because my hair is out as well I want to

give it even more extra care and while I'm oiling in my hair as well chances are

that the crocheted hair is also gonna get a bit of oil on it but hey yeah it's

okay as well you are going to need coconut

oil and some clips so the first thing I do when I'm prepping my hair is I take

sections so I started from the back and I do away with the amount that I'm not

using and I just take a section and at the back here I have like all my

parameters left out and it's kind of like the Vixen method that I did if you

guys saw my previous videos I basically showed you how I can style the hair and

this you can see that it's a bit short or just a bit shorter actually one back

in and I took off some of the hair because I just felt it was a lot of hair

to deal with so I just took off some of the hair and then this is what I'm left

with so this is actually my first time doing the

- this hair tell you the truth and I actually like the results of it I'm so

excited so I thought I'd share with you guys so here the first thing i do is i

section part of the hair like I said my parameters left out the back of my hair

and all of that and the Vixen method most of my hair is up so I take the hair

and I use the coconut oil and I apply some on my hair like I make sure that I

moisturize it in the night rub it in and then I've sectioned them together and

then I brush it out with a brush or a detangling brushes to detangle it and

then I use some of the gel that I was talking to you guys about something that

make sure has glycerin and it's if you'd like but it's what I do and then what I

do is I twist the hair so I just do like a two strand twist I get the foam

rubbers and the foam rubber so my goodness the foam rollers because at

least this doesn't make the hair stick and you know it doesn't stick the hair

doesn't stick to it really that much but then at least when you're sleeping it's

not that uncomfortable and then when everything is done I just tie it down

tie down my hair and then I just sleep with like a bonnet over it and then I

wake up in the morning and like I showed you guys and I took it out i unraveled

it and this is what it looks like so I'm very pleased with this so this is what

the hair looks like
