This Delicious Juice Will Help Unclog Arteries and Prevent Heart Disease! - Duration: 3:40.

Being a much consumed fruit in the Mediterranean and in the Middle East, the pomegranate has been

increasingly popular because of its numerous benefits.

A study published in the journal Atherosclerosis showed that pomegranate extract can prevent

and even reverse progressive thickening of the arteries caused by the accumulation of fat,

which is the main cause of heart disease.

The fruit was able to improve only the blood flow in the cardiovascular system

of patients with heart problems, but also helped to reduce inflammation and

high blood pressure.

In addition, it can help reduce excess of triglycerides, mainly caused by

by bad eating habits.

The normalization of the rate of triglycerides can help prevent heart attack and several

heart problems.

Pomegranate protects cardiovascular health as well through the increase of nitric oxide, which

helps the functioning of endothelial cells present in the arterial walls.

Nitric oxide signals the muscles to relax, thereby increasing blood flow

through the arteries and veins.

Nitric oxide reduces wall damage of vessels, which also helps to prevent

the development of atherosclerosis.

It is also considered one of the best sources of antioxidants, having higher amounts

to green tea and red wine.

These substances play an important role in risk of heart disease.

Pomegranate is also a natural antibiotic and, because it is an antioxidant, its juice

cholesterol, slows down aging, osteoporosis and enhances our immunity by defending ourselves

of tumors and degenerative diseases.

For this and other reasons the pomegranate is considered a super-food, and a UCLA study put it

at the top of the list of healthier juice.

Here's how to prepare a delicious pomegranate juice: Ingredients

2 or 3 pomegranates; 12 mint leaves well-sanitized Ice (optional)

As

Do Begin by peeling the peel of the pomegranate.

Then place the pulp in the blender and knock

When it is already well beaten, without pieces visible fruits, add the leaves of

mint and beat again.

If you want, you can add ice and a lemon slice

It is important to note that pomegranate can interact with some medicines, such as medicines

to regulate blood pressure, anticoagulants, etc.

If you are taking any medication or have any health problem, talk to your

doctor before of consuming this juice.

VLOG #22: SNOW IN NEW YORK? AND FAMILY TIME • Rens Kroes - Duration: 13:35.

So that means it is Spring now.

Not in New York.

Hip hip hooray!

Hello!

Welcome to my new vlog.

It is Wednesday today,

and I am in New York.

I wish I had a filter on this screen right now.

It is so early.

It is 7.30 AM,

and I am on my way to a boxing class.

To save some plastic bottles,

I brought my own bottle.

So handy.

Then I fill it up.

I am at Quick Cryo,

and there is a man in a cabin.

It is my turn now.

It will become very cold soon.

It is becoming very cold right now.

This was not the deal.

It is snowing!

Guys, did you know...

it is...

the 21st of March.

That means it is Spring now.

But...

not in New York.

I just had a meeting,

and now I am heading home.

I am going to make some food,

and do some work.

That is my day!

I just had an event,

and I got these bottles there.

These are completely plant-based.

A very good initiative from Will Smith and his son.

They sell this now in America,

maybe also in Europe soon.

So delicious,

and it is so easy.

I am at a booklaunch of Taline,

from Hippie Lane.

She launched a new book,

so beautiful.

Wonderful!

The book launched is finished now,

as you can see.

I am here with such fun girls.

Look what I made!

It is layered chia pudding,

with blueberries and banana.

A real Sunday.

It is Monday today,

and I am walking through the city.

It is so nice!

The sun is shining,

but I am sad about the fact that I am going to the Netherlands tomorrow.

I am going because I have a lot of work to do there,

business wise.

I am going to miss New York a lot,

because New York always gives me boost.

Amsterdam is also nice.

The sun is shining less,

that is a pity.

I just love this wonderful sun.

That blue sky!

So now I am going to finish up some last things.

Good morning!

I am at an event right now,

together with a friend of mine...

Federica.

I am at a sort of booklaunch right now,

with delicious food.

So much fun!

We are way too early.

This is a workplace,

where people can work.

So they can rent this place,

so funny.

It looks so good.

This is Robyn's new book.

I will fly tomorrow instead of today,

because my flight got cancelled.

So I have one more day in New York.

I am at Soul Cycle now,

I am going to join one last class.

After that I will fly to Amsterdam.

I also said that yesterday,

but now I am really going.

I am in the car now,

and I brought a soup for myself.

I am going to drink that later on,

in the car.

I am at the airport!

I am super tired.

See you later!

Bye!

These are so good!

Medjool dates.

Cashews.

Banana.

Two apples.

I am back again,

so much fun!

Somebody made a delicious cake for me.

We are going to eat that in a minute.

And...

all sorts of packages.

So many!

It is 4 PM now and I am still awake.

I just went to a meeting,

and we will have another meeting later on.

After that I am going to the birthday party of my brother in law,

because it is his birthday today.

Good timing!

After that I am going to sleep.

Cannot wait!

So, I am still alive.

It is 6 PM right now,

and I am super tired.

I am a zombie.

Look!

An oyster mushroom has to grow out of this,

and it should be eatable in ten days.

We have to keep it moist.

Within ten days...

oyster mushrooms!

King oyster mushrooms.

So we have to keep this moist,

and then there will grow mega mushrooms.

Where are we?

At Yamazato.

This looks delicious.

Why do I get that?

Why do I get that?

Thanks!

Hip hip hooray!

On our way to Friesland.

Mom, what are you making?

What is this?

Leek, onion, carrot, paprika, broccoli.

Beans and rice.

So good!

Delicious!

Thanks mom!

So, I am back in Friesland.

Enjoying the time with my family,

and I am reading a book now.

I told you about it in my previous vlog.

Who has won?

Mom: 'Tell us who won'.

Auntie.

No, who has won?

Granddad.

Yes!

And then...?

Me.

No.

Me.

No.

Me.

Me.

I am yellow.

I am yellow.

I am sitting over here.

Day two in Friesland.

This is what we made.

Salad...

Someone is calling me.

...and some rice.

Egg hunting!

I am making a yummy smoothie.

With strawberry, lemon and orange.

Im going to add some maca powder,

moringa,

and MSM powder.

What else...

I think that is it.

Ashwagandha.

Who is going to win?

So sweet!

Easter Monday.

Tell me!

I am making hot chocolate for me and Phyllon.

Oatmilk with cacao powder,

and a bit of coconut blossom sugar, right?

Delicious, Myllena!

Why do people throw waste in the nature?

I always take it with me when I see it,

and throw it in my trashcan at home.

I am still in Friesland,

enjoying my time here.

I am walking in the nature right now,

as you can see.

So nice.

I am going to end this vlog now.

I hope you liked it!

A little less informative,

then last time I think.

Maybe something for the next vlog.

I still hope it was fun to watch.

Thumbs up if you liked it,

and leave a comment.

I love reading all those nice comments.

Bye, see you next time!

President Trump Reveals $12B Invoice Obama Left For Americans To Pay - Duration: 17:29.

President Trump Reveals $12B Invoice Obama Left For Americans To Pay

The Obama administration was one of reckless spending.

Barack didn't mind wasting taxpayer dollars.

Even as people lost their jobs—watching them get shipped overseas.

Obama still took our money.

He even spent money he didn't have.

Under Obama, the deficit doubled.

That's more than any other president in the history of the U.S.

Now we are learning about one bill he tried to sweep under the carpet.

You're going to love this.

From Breitbart:

President Obama already had run up the National Park's deferred maintenance deficit to $12

billion when he dedicated three California national monuments in his last year in office…

The Obama administration set the all-time record high for using executive orders to

protect 265 million acres of U.S. land and water.

But the latest National Park Service report, as Obama left office, detailed the deferred

maintenance deficit for federal and state parks and monuments at $11,927,413,975.

As the state with the largest backlog, California already had 28 sites that needed at least

$1,769,798,353 in maintenance…

Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke prepared a report that recommended President Trump consider

potentially shrinking some or all of the 27 national monuments established by Presidents

Obama, Bush and Clinton.

But environmental groups promise they will litigate any effort to change the sites'

existing boundaries and protections.

Apparently, much of the cost will go in removing "non-native" animals from these parks.

That's right, environmental groups want to spend your money to get pigs out of the

woods.

And they're willing to fight about it.

Amazing right?

Meanwhile, bridges are collapsing thanks to a lack of infrastructure funding.

But, yeah, let's worry about the feral pigs.

Isn't this just like Obama?

It seemed like he was all for the worst kind of programs.

Things that helped Americans were ignored.

But no, we should spend billions on protecting land.

Land that will be off-limits to people as a result.

At least we'll get the pigs out of there.

President Trump would do well to slash the park's budget even more.

He's done some already.

But considering the idiocy of the situation, more must be done.

Deranged environmentalists must learn that people come before parks.

How Can Businesses Grow? - Duration: 0:50.

What I know as someone who's built businesses for my entire career,

is your most important asset are your people.

When I was secretary of commerce,

I met thousands of people across the United States who are struggling,

good people who are trying to be part of the twenty-first century economy,

but they don't have the education, the training, the financial wherewithal

to be able to access training,

to be able to take advantage of a twenty-first century economy.

And if we don't help them,

if government, private sector, educational institutions don't help Americans,

our businesses won't grow.

We won't be globally competitive.

So there's a lot at stake here.

Why you keep using Facebook, even if you hate it - Duration: 5:34.

Facebook has made itself so necessary to the online experience that for many people it

is the internet.

And that is causing some major problems when it comes to user data, and security.

You can trace a lot of these problems to a phenomenon called "the network effect".

I think the first time I ever read about this, they were talking about fax machines, right.

The first fax machine is invented, it's totally useless.

But the more people who have it,

the more useful it becomes, because you can communicate with other people.

Facebook is network effects on steroids, right?

It's an event calendar, a contact book, a photo album, it's texting, video calling,

money transferring SOCIAL NETWORK that makes millions of dollars a day.

"A million dollars isn't cool, you know what's cool?"

Two billion people!

And at that size the network effects push Facebook beyond useful, to pretty much being

integral to daily life.

It's not just that you personally would miss stuff if you went off Facebook, but it would

almost be rude, right?

It could be an inconvenience to your peers, for you to not be on Facebook, because then

they couldn't invite you to things that way.

So you create a problem for yourself, and you create a problem for other people by opting

out of it.

This FOMO is how Facebook turns the network effect into profit.

Even though no one pays to use the core service.

But advertisers, marketers, and other folks WILL pay.

For user data.

And because users feel that the free core service is so beneficial, they agree to pay,

in a sense, by providing that data.

Yeah.

Read those Terms of Service.

What happened with Cambridge Analytica illustrates how our personal boundaries for using that

data in the real world are being tested.

The consulting firm, hired by the Trump campaign for the 2016 election, exploited access to

the data of millions Facebook users.

Now, Facebook allows academic researchers more access to user data than commercial companies

and app developers.

So a researcher built this personality quiz app under those guidelines. People used it

and in doing so, allowed it to harvest data from their Facebook profiles. But no

one really read the Terms of Service, because it also gave the app access to some data on the friends

of the people who took the quiz.

These are friends, who did not directly consent to the terms of the app.

Only 270 thousand people took the quiz, but by Facebook's latest estimate,

the app was able to harvest

the data of at least 87 million users.

Here's the kicker: this was all above board… the data collection didn't violate any rules.

But what wasn't allowed was handing over that data, collected for "research purposes",

to Cambridge Analytica.

And when it came out that Cambridge used all this data to develop techniques to target

voters during the 2016 election, people were not happy.

And users wanted to know why Facebook was allowed to do this.

When you have executives saying, "It's our

responsibility to do x."

A good question to ask is, in what sense is it your responsibility?

Is it your legal responsibility?

Or are you just saying you'll feel bad?

The situation with Facebook is unique,

in that there are no legal responsibilities. At all.

Which is different from financial institutions, medical records, other kinds of things like that.

Even though angering its users might seem bad for business, Facebook isn't doing anything

unexpected here in regards to your data.

Because the aunts and high school friends and work acquaintances on Facebook aren't

just the users of the platform.

They're also the product.

And Facebook sells that product — all of that data — to advertisers who want information

about potential customers.

Which is how Facebook makes millions daily without charging you to use it.

When you look at it this way, Facebook is very, very good at what it does… even if

the people spending the most time on it don't actually like it that much.

And that's why I think it's important to see that as far as we can tell from the research that's available,

Facebook is not really good for its customers, it makes people feel lonely and depressed.

Matt's referring to this study, by the University of Copenhagen.

It compared how participants

self reported various emotions before and after quitting facebook for a week.

It's a good reminder that,

while Facebook does exist to connect you with friends,

and help you find events,

that's secondary to the platform's business goal of mining your data.

Put another way: Facebook only cares that you're using Facebook, not whether you like

to use Facebook.

Which is why the main selling point is that everyone is on Facebook.

Because at roughly two billion users… those network effects likely aren't going anywhere.

And whether you like them or not, you probably aren't going anywhere either.

Review Lexus LC500 V8 [with English subs] - Duration: 2:38.

Isn't that amazing?! This is the Lexus LC500

This is the 5,0 l V8 version

The LC has 2 engine types; the LC500h (3,5 l V6 hybrid)

and I'm driving the V8 (477 HP)

- naturally aspirated -

You won't spot this car on the road often

since only 15 LC's are sold here in Holland

What else can I tell you - it has rear wheel drive ofcourse

but it has four-wheel steering, adaptive chassis

and a smooth automatic gearbox with ten gears (!)

Let's go for a spin now!

The LC is a 2+2 coupé

not much space in the back because of the roof

but it is still massive; 4.70 meters

and his looks.. in my eyes it is still a concept car

right from the drawing board into the wild; super futuristic

If you're looking for the sport button.. you won't find it in the middle console

but the sides of your speedometer have Shrek-looking ears where you can find the sport mode

0 - 100 km/h in 4,7 seconds

limiter at 270 km/h

and this feels so nice guys..

Found the speed limiter haha!

The hybrid can be bought for 116.000 EURO

The V8 starts from 160.000 EURO

and this particular car costs about 180.000 EURO

It ain't cheap, you could also drive an AMG for this amount of money

but I have to say; it is unique in it's kind

The Rise of the Gig Economy and the Challenges for U.S. Workers - Duration: 1:36.

One of the biggest changes in our labor market over the last ten years or so

has been the rise of what we might call alternative work arrangements.

Roughly eight percent of the workforce worked as contract workers,

working on-call, working in the gig economy back in 2005.

Ten years later, that percentage has doubled.

That's an exciting development, and it offers much flexibility for workers.

It offers new opportunities for different types of jobs

for workers who want to supplement

or who just want more flexibility in their day.

But it also provides some challenges,

because one aspect of our labor market, and our labor market institutions

is that much of the support for work,

the non-wage benefits that come with work,

such as health insurance, retirement insurance, paid sick leave,

even getting lifetime education, learning on the job or having access to educational benefits,

have been tied to employment, and typically tied to full-time employment.

So the workers who are actually working as contractors,

or working part-time or working in this gig economy,

typically don't have access to those types of benefits,

which means that they don't have health insurance.

They're not saving for retirement.

If they are sick, they don't have paid sick leave.

It's those wrap-around benefits that have traditionally gone with work in the U.S.

that are missing, and that we very much need to confront because

these types of work arrangements are not going away.

Hi, Here are some commented Sword Dagger weaver gameplay, I also put Subtitles so its easy to understand me, you can activate them.

I also created a Discord to gather my community, and to help other players & elementalist

I hope you will join, feel free to come & enjoy the video :)

I was capping a sentry when a Wild Reaper Appeared

An other Reaper came and a Spellbreaker too.I keep focus on the first Reaper because

he seems to have the biggest DPS and be the less tanky

I switch & dodge in water to heal & use water 2

use Earth #4 to CC the Second reaper and to blast into my water field

I precast Earth #5 and use teleport combo to hit the reaper

he has lots on bleed on him, I just have to keep DPS and he's down.

I use Updraft to CC & to prevent other players to Rez him

I keep DPS the downed Reaper and use my elite to CC for a long time everyone

The reaper is dead but I'm really low, I need to wait for my Water attunement to heal

I made a mistake because I should have activated Water 4, frost aura to reduce incoming damage

I also should keep auto attacking to proc my passive healing signet.

I use water 2, blast inside to heal, then I go away and I target a creature

So I can Use my Sword Air 2 to teleport away.

Then I switch water, Being in Water/Air is the best to escape

because Water 2 & Air 4 are both available. I use Air 4 to go as far as possible, to heal and wait for my cooldown

Now I can DPS the 2nd reaper, I engage with Fire 2, then I dodge & use Earth 2 to evade the Spellbreaker burst.

I use Air 2 to teleport to reaper, And use my Firegrab 5k to down him

I cannot press F to stomp because no stability

& I would be vulnerable to spell breaker So I just keep DPS & dodge the burst

Reaper is dead but Mesmer is coming

I engage with fire 2, he's very squishy so I keep DPS him.

He disengage, I use Air 2 into fire field to get a fire aura, I use Earth 2 to blast then fast dodge to avoid Spellbreaker counter, and got another blast

I notice the Mesmer is downed, so I fast come to him to kill him, Spellbreaker stun me, I dont use my stun break

because short stun but I should have, he burst me hard

Anyway I manage to heal & to kill the Mesmer, but a Ranger is coming.

I try to cast Earth 5 Churning Earth Combo, but Spellbreaker

steal my Stability and CC me, I have to heal & I focus the Ranger.

I switch Fire to get retaliation boon so Ranger using Longbow Skill 2 on me hits himself harder than me

Reaper from begin is back

so its now a 1v3. I keep dodging & evading the burst but its hard for me to DPS.

I use my Elite to CC everyone & try to focus the Ranger but I'm off CollDown & cannot escape,

I'm dead.

Thanks for watching, now some gameplay without comment, hope you Will enjoy it too

remember you can join my discord server, its a place to help each other & to speak about anything. Bye & enjoy the video !

25 STRANGEST Things Growing In A Lab - Duration: 8:34.

From agriculture to building dams, humanity has always tried to bend nature to its advantage.

With stem cells and genetic engineering, we've reached a totally new level of control. As

we speak, researchers are pushing the boundaries of science and making science fiction, science

fact. They're able to grow the strangest things in a lab that, frankly, doesn't seem like

they should be possible. Yet, by opening up the possibility, many patients with illnesses

and disabilities may have a second chance in the future. But, maybe that'll cause more

problems than it's worth? Get ready to go into uncharted territory! I'm Mike with List25

and Here are 25 Strangest Things Growing In A Lab.

25.

Researchers in Japan discovered a bacteria that can eat plastic, more specifically polyethylene

terephthalate, which is one of the most abundant on Earth. They're hopeful they and other scientists

can continue to grow this bacteria and use it to reduce plastic waste.

24.

In 2017, scientists successfully grew the stem cells needed to produce blood. By

being able to grow and produce blood, doctors could treat diseases like leukemia and be

able to have enough blood for transfusions.

23.

Usually, leather is made from cowhide. However, a company called Modern Meadow announced

they are growing leather in their lab without cows at all. They grow a strain of yeast that

produces collagen, which is essentially what gives leather its tough and elastic quality.

22.

In 1954, Soviet scientist Vladimir Demikhov and his associates performed 23 surgeries

to transplant a dog's head onto another dog, virtually creating a two-headed dog. In 1959,

they were "successful" in keeping both dogs alive and attached to each other. The two-headed

dog only lived for four more days. While ethically and morally these surgeries were sketchy,

they do open the doors to life-saving possibilities in the future.

21.

Researchers have been growing mammary glands in a petri dish to conduct breast cancer

research. They take cultured breast cells and grow their own in a transparent gel. Out

of the research, they've uncovered that mammary gland growth is exploited by tumor progression.

20.

At the University of Tokyo and Kyoto University, scientists have successfully grown an adult-sized

ear on the back of a mouse. They were able to do it using stem cells and hope they can

begin human trials in five years.

19.

Researchers at Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden were able to grow a human trachea

from stem cells. But, on top of that, they transplanted it into a cancer patient who

had a tumor blocking his airway.

18.

Harald Ott of Massachusetts General Hospital was successfully able to grow a rat limb from

living cells. He's using it as a model for future tests. They believe a primate's arm

could be next, which could mean amputees could theoretically get a replacement arm in the future

17.

You'd think the last thing we'd want is more mosquitoes. But in this case, the United

States approved of mosquitoes grown in a lab specifically designed to carry a bacteria

that kills other mosquitoes carrying diseases like Zika and dengue.

16.

Scientists at Abertay University in Scotland have discovered a way to grow small beating

hearts in their lab. With stem cells, they grew them to a minuscule 0.04 inches (1 mm)

to find ways to treat heart hypertrophy.

15.

Imagine driving a car powered entirely by E.coli. In 2013, scientists at the University

of Exeter found a way to to make diesel fuel from the E.coli bacteria. What's better is

that it's totally made from the bacteria and not mixed with petroleum products.

14.

Not only has leather been grown in a lab, but clothing material as well. A United Kindom

company called Biocouture started developing and growing clothing from basic kitchen ingredients

like sugar. These clothes are also fully compostable, so you can throw it in the trash with all

the other food scraps.

13.

You might be surprised how many diamonds are grown in a lab, and we're not talking

about cubic zirconia, but diamonds made of the same chemical properties as diamonds grown

naturally. These diamonds are just grown in a lab instead. Many of them have made it to

the shelves of several popular diamond jewelers.

12.

Scientists at the University of Michigan were able to grow a pig's bone from cells

in a lab. They then used it to restore a jaw bone. If the research continues, the hope

is to the same for humans.

11.

Researchers have been trying to develop edible lab-grown meat since 2008 and finally

achieved the goal in 2013. Taking stem cells from a cow's shoulder, they used 20,000 cells

and grew them into a single patty. The meat was served to futurist Hanni Rützler and

Josh Schonwald, author of The Taste of Tomorrow.

10.

Scientists at the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology in Japan were able to grow skin tissue

with hair follicles and sebaceous glands in their lab. Afterward, they were successfully

able to transplant it to mice. Of course, this development could help burn patients

or other patients needing new skin.

9.

Despite the odds, researchers were successful in creating a human-pig embryo for the first

time. The embryo was .001% human. Scientists did it with the injection of stem cells into

a pig embryo.

8.

Apples are a staple of many American homes, but no one would think they could become human

ears. Except, of course, Biophysicist Andrew Pelling. Researching at the University of

Ottawa, he and his team found out a way to grow human cells by biohacking an apple. They

made ears with it and successfully tested it on a mouse.

7.

Using the cells of rabbits, researchers have been able to grow rabbit penises and

then transplant them on to rabbits. Being a pediatric urologist, Dr. Anthony Atala has

years of specialization in the area and decided to focus on the penis to help babies born

with defects.

6.

Scientists at Nanjing Medical University in China have been able to change mice stem

cells into sperm cells, raising hopes for curing male infertility.

5.

Researchers have come up with a way to grow coral in a test tube by collecting sex

cells from the island of Curaçao. Over the past three decades, coral has seen a significant

decline. In the Caribbean reefs, coral has declined by 80%.

4.

Scientists at Wake Forest University School of Medicine took cells from malfunctioning

bladders of seven children and used them to grow thin sacs of tissue. Afterward, they

grafted the artificial organs on to patients bladders.

3.

In 2014, researchers were able to take the cells of 4 female patients and grow vaginas

from them to help treat a birth defect where the vagina and uterus are underdeveloped.

The researchers successfully transplanted the vaginas and after a follow up, no problems

or abnormalities were reported.

2.

Scientists were also able to grow human eggs to total maturity in a lab, meaning they

technically could be fertilized. They're hopeful this research will help with infertility.

1.

If things haven't gotten weird enough, get ready for them to get a whole lot weirder.

Researchers have now begun growing tiny balls of human brain tissue. They're only about

.157 inches (4 mm) in diameter. Those studying these pieces of tissue are hopeful it'll lead

to a better understanding of diseases like Alzheimer's.

BREAKING: Mayor Who Defied Trump, Refused To Protect Citizens Just Found GUILTY Of What Else She Did - Duration: 5:16.

BREAKING: Mayor Who Defied Trump, Refused To Protect Citizens Just Found GUILTY Of What

Else She Did.

The Trump Administration has taken leaps and bounds toward restoring the authority of Immigration

and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to find and deport illegal aliens in the United States.

ICE's jobs have become much more difficult under the Obama administration because of

their illegal friendly stance on deportation.

With the rise of sanctuary cities, the legal ramifications of illegal deportation have

become a political minefield, but one that ICE is still carefully navigating.

However, when Oakland California mayor Libby Schaaf took the sanctuary status a step further,

it left many wondering if her actions were even legal.

Mayor Schaaf, because of her position, found out that there would be an ICE raid in her

area.

While it's important for law enforcement agencies to be able to coordinate the execution

of the law, Schaaf put all that in jeopardy when she took that knowledge and spread it

around to anyone and everyone on social media.

Schaaf's stunt ensured that the illegals who have taken refuge in her area were able

to avoid places that they might be taken into custody, and the fallout was massive.

Not only did the illegals evade arrest and were able to carry out more crimes, it's

raised the question as to whether Schaaf abused her authority and whether other mayors looking

to win points with immigrants (and potential future voters) might do the same.

According to Breitbart News, the President himself has been putting that question to

those around him, and now to the people.

According to a speech that the President gave in West Virginia on Thursday, the President

pivoted from his planned topic of tax reform and spoke briefly about Oakland Mayor Libby

Schaaf.

He accused Schaaf of obstruction of justice' for warning illegal immigrants about a raid

by federal deportation officers last February.

"If you look in California and see what is happening, it is an incredible phenomenon

because sanctuary cities, it is the worst.

It is the city to protect a lot of people who are bad people."

He continued, "How about the mayor of Oakland where she tells a thousand people to get going,

law enforcement is coming to get you.

This is all planned and many of them scattered.

It was pretty much a failure.

To me, that is obstruction of justice.

Something should happen there.

It hasn't, and I do not know why it hasn't.

But something should happen there.

We are toughening up at the border.

We will be in great shape over the next 12 months.

We will have a lot of things happening.

We cannot let people enter our country."

His comments about "bad people" is an unpopular one, but not at all off base As

previously reported previously reported, some of the criminals that escaped ICE in February

have gone on to cause more trouble elsewhere:

"This wasn't the first or only report about the damages done by the Oakland Mayor

when she warned illegals about the upcoming raid.

ICE Acting Director Thomas Homan made a statement about the event, and he was less than supportive

of Schaaf's decision:

'Acting Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement Thomas Homan said Wednesday that

the Oakland mayor's public warning about an upcoming raid left hundreds of criminals

on the street and endangered law enforcement.

'Being a law enforcement officer is already dangerous enough, but to give the criminals

a heads-up that we're coming in the next 24 hours increases that risk,' Mr. Homan

said on Fox News.

Mayor Libby Schaaf warned residents of the upcoming raid over the weekend, saying it

was her 'duty and moral obligation' to do so.

She said she wanted to give residents the opportunity to 'learn their rights and know

their legal options,' the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

'There's over 800 significant public-safety threat criminals.

These are people here illegally already and committed yet another crime, been convicted

of a crime, she gave them warning, and there were over 800 that we were unable to locate

because of that warning.

So that community is a lot less safe than it would have been,' Mr. Homan said.

He said the agency isn't going to back down despite how politicians may choose to 'vilify'

them, adding that a border wall would help the agency control the issue of illegal immigrants.'

Any government official who has an issue with the way another government official is doing

their jobs should certainly notify those the superiors of those who they consider to be

a threat.

However, Schaaf's complaint about ICE was not that they were doing their jobs incorrectly,

it was that they shouldn't be doing their jobs at all.

Shaaf has a problem with the very nature of ICE and what it stands for.

While conservatives across this nation would fight for her right to have whatever opinion

she wishes on whatever subject she wishes, many were disconcerted when she took that

opinion and acted on it, to the point of aiding criminals to evade arrest.

While all of the talks about more crime being committed, if ICE was unable to do its job,

used to be sheer conjecture, there is now hard and fast proof; sheltering illegals from

ICE caused more crimes to be committed."

Les Brown: How Can We Do Things Differently ( Les Brown Law of Attraction ) - Duration: 29:20.

Oh

Self-approval that's a very challenging area now why is that challenging ladies

and gentlemen that's where most people get stuck an area of self-approval

that's a stage that a lot of people get there and they never move out of that

area why well for a variety of reasons many things can contribute to our not

approving our dream so I'm not feeling good enough a lot of things can

contribute to that many of us never live up to our potential or don't approve

ourselves because we never had anybody to believe in us looking at some of the

things that keep us from approving ourselves that we've all done some

things and we don't feel good about things that if we had to do those things

over again we would not do those things or we would do things differently so

part of what we must do in order to begin to move into your greatness you

got to remove a major energy block and that is dealing with the issue of

forgiveness people that have hurt you someone who's done you wrong make a list

and things that you have done that you you feel bad about that you regret make

a list there may be a time when you weren't a good father a good mother a

good brother a sister or you you were a bad child you didn't do a good job or

you lied or you were dishonest so you stole no one knows this but you or

something you feel good about so you know is a real dog in me to do that

something you just really regret so we make a list of all those things all of

us have some of that which might say there's some good and the worst of us

and some bad and the best of us so none of us escape now here's something I want

you to do I want you to become involved in an active process to get some clutter

out of your life so if there's any area in your life that you need to clean up

start working on it I'm going home tonight to clean my closets and if

you've got any cluttered closet so raise your hand please

let's go home let that be our test this week see the first law of the universe

is order go home and clean the closet out get the clutter out start letting

some of this junk go to make some room for something else do that with people

there's some people whose cluttering up your life they serve no purpose

whatsoever they're just holding and occupying the space that somebody useful

positive nurturing and contributing could be holding that space you'll even

have time to look to see what else is out there because you all have all of

these people surrounding you that's not in enabling you to grow so look at what

is it I need to get out of my life just start cleaning this stuff out getting

the drawers together your dresser drawer just getting stuff together just get

them together maybe your car I gotta clean my car too got a lot of stuff in

that living my car you know can't put anything in my trunk I got all kind of

little things back there to my children back there in the trunk you know

everything stuff everywhere so I just say that's the hey let me guess give

this together see whatever you have in your environment is a reflection of your

consciousness so you got all that chaos there that represents some disorganized

cluttered section of your mind so let's get all this out of there all right work

to get that out clean that up anybody that you feel very strongly about have

some negative feelings about let's look at some good reasons to forgive them

number one you must try and see what has happened or see things from that other

person's point of view let's look at it from their point of view that's that's

one area that's number one then number two holding a grudge hurts you it

doesn't hurt them so just for good health and peace of mind let it go any

feeling of resentment or anger or hatred is called to me the load of bitterness

within every thought that we entertain produces a chemical in our brain that

impacts the body's immune system and besides this person you are hating they

probably are not even aware of it if some place having a good time

don't even know you're really hating them you've turned up the steam learn

from this like to hate intense hate and here you are killing yourself making

yourself vulnerable to various types of illnesses putting yourself in bad health

and I say that person is not worth your sacrificing your health or one minute of

peace of mind one minute of anger robs you of 60 seconds of happiness so decide

it doesn't matter let it go and experience the dignity and the

magnanimous sense of character of being big enough to move on and get on with

your life letting it go so you can grow next step

lack of self-acceptance how does it show up how does it manifest itself seeing

with all of us have greatness within us but when you don't come to grips with

your greatness and you don't work to develop it if you're not seeking it out

if you're not finding where it is if you're not trying to locate it if you're

not experimenting with your life to try and find out what's fits for you I'm

saying that you're positioning yourself to be a miserable person an unfulfilled

person how else do we do it procrastination we just put things off

over and over and over again why because we haven't accepted it we don't feel

deserving we don't feel that we are good enough so we sabotage ourselves by not

ever taking care of business we get real busy doing a lot of things where we

don't have any time but I've never forget our man Dino in the book called

University of success is that many of us never ever discover our greatness

because we become sidetracked by secondary activity we start doing so

many things we just give our time away until we don't have any time for

ourselves or any time to do the things that we want to do and every time you

put it off and move it back whoa I'll do it one day oh yeah I'm going to get to

it I'm saying to you that one day you look around and there goes the year

there goes two years there goes three years so there's something you want to

do do it now do it right now don't put it off start

right now where you are there will never be a perfect ideal time whatever you

have going for you right now that's enough work on that idea work on it work

on it work on it another way in which it shows up and

that is that because of the relationships we form people we have

around us thinking about two guys Larry littles he went to bethune-cookman

college he was a football player at Booker T Washington High School where I

graduated from Larry ended up playing for the Miami Dolphins became an

all-star Offensive God great guy Larry really wasn't the most talented guy in

that position at boogity Washington High School's guy named Willie Covington that

was far more talented he was stronger physically he was faster but Willie

coming to never ever made it out of high school while s he started running with

the wrong crowd big cub is what we called it start running with the wrong

crowd and those people led him to the penitentiary and ultimately to a

premature death got the word a few months ago he was shot and killed in

Liberty City on 62nd Street where I was born on the floor my twin brother named

Willie Covington had great talent great potential running with the wrong crowd

watch out with the relationships you have what kind of person are you

becoming because of the relationships that you have right now do those people

contribute to you do they help you grow and develop yourself what kind of person

are you becoming people who have not except rate this for themselves these

people don't study ladies and gentlemen these people don't study they don't have

time for personal growth and development their have time to work on their minds

no they don't have time for that too busy for that people can affect this

peers can affect as our environment can affect us just working consciously to

overcome the comedy consciousness that I was raised in the feeling constantly of

saying Les Brown you deserve this there's no need for you to be afraid

it's not too good to be true it's true because you've earned it the

old-fashioned way you have worked for it but every once in a while it comes up

when I least expected my heart start beating fast and I start questioning

myself and doubting myself and I have to catch myself you've got to be

consciously conscious so let's look at how we can begin to

evaluate our self-esteem our self approval number one to determine the

height of your self approval it's important that you evaluate yourself

because you know you quite well but it's almost impossible to do it totally by

yourself you must get some caring feedback find somebody close enough to

you that has observed you of it around you that you value their opinion and ask

them how do they see you how do they rate you in terms of your self-esteem

and then compare what you have with what they say see there are things many times

that people can see in us that we can't see because it's a blind spot if I were

to be talking to you and my breath is offensive and you don't tell me and then

I go around not only do you know everybody else right here no and then

when I'm walking toward people they say well let's not be right back you know

and I don't know why people said well last we don't we thought you we want you

to come to the party but you can't go now all you have to do just tell me

Celeste you need to goggle with some ammonia something you know have you ever

smelled someone's Brenda didn't tell them raise your hand if you're done so

so we all have those blind spots we have those areas of our lives that we need to

get some caring feedback we need some coaching we need someone to let us know

that and now why don't people just volunteer that one they don't want to

hurt your feelings one they don't want to embarrass you but see there's some

people you know you know they don't want to hear it they're gonna argue with you

they're gonna become defensive if you one of those people just decide to shut

up and listen next thing is a good barometer to check

out how you feel about yourself is how well you handle compliments when someone

pays you a compliment can you handle it well lady was coming down the hall at

least oh what a beautiful dress you have a oh it's nothing I caught it on sales

nothing no I didn't ask you did you get that on sale I just that's a beautiful

dress can you handle compliments well that's a

good barometer about your self-esteem can you handle

well can you give criticism next thing is what are your expectations what do

you expect to get from life what do you expect to get from your business what do

you expect to get from your relationships what is your ideal day

what is it that you expect from this experience this trip this journey that

you're involved in people that that have a strong sense of self approval they

have high expectations for themselves and from life and from others see a lot

of people don't expect much from life so they don't shoot for much they're not

preparing for much a lot of people are just showing up in life a lot of people

just get up in the morning and they go through the day they go to the job just

to pull a check down watching the clock coming in so you want to be a different

kind of person as you followed your life you want to get something out of this if

you're going to do it it's worth your time your energy you've got some

expectations from this I do not let people waste my time so I want to meet

with meet with me it's accuse me what is this dealing with I want to get to the

bottom line because if it does not measure up to my expectations I'm not

going to invest my time I don't have the luxury to waste time I'm expecting some

great things from life and so I have to spend some time working on myself in

developing myself so examine your expectations versus your wishes some

people wish they could do better but some people expect to do better were you

on that next thing let's look at one of the things we can do to increase our

self approval our self appreciation our self acceptance here's number one love

yourself make caring for you the highest priority in your life take care of you

look out for what truly satisfies you we're not taught to love ourselves we're

not taught to look out for ourselves we're not taught to take care of

ourselves to become since the to our wants to our needs our our

desires so make a conscious effort make you number one priority your a peace of

mind your health is more important than your family in any and everybody because

if you don't have peace of mind if you don't have your health you can't serve

anybody don't neglect yourself a lot of us in particularly ladies have been

groomed to be sacrificial lambs putting their dreams on the back burner in

deference to their children's dreams or their husbands dreams or their family's

dreams and forget about themselves they become resentful and angry and bitter so

start taking care of yourself looking out for you develop a health plan your

health is all you got so start taking care of you eating nutritious meals

willing to exercise your body taking care of this body loving yourself so do

some good stuff for yourself on purpose take some time out for you I have some

good things I do for me one of the things I enjoy that I do I take

spiritual baths my assistant introduced me to someone

called sister Sarah who gave me my first future bath I never heard of this before

she told me about it and I said come on come on Regina spiritual bath and soothe

my Secretary's husband and Larry he said a spiritual bath for $50 I give you a

spiritual shower yeah but I plays soft music I've taped some of my favorite

music I play burn a candle and I have different oils that I put in the tub of

hot water and I have flowers that I picked and I put my like you know I saw

coming to America you know at Eddie Murphy you know they would sprinkle your

little flowers on the ground right up so it gives me a feeling of royalty so I I

sprinkle these flowers in the water and I soak I like doing that and I soak it

sometimes I read or just relax and enjoy the music and just cool out that's my

time for me put the answering service on I just

lock out some time for me I'm into meditation been working and and

exercising now just doing some things for me taking care of myself mentally

emotionally and spiritually and physically you can't develop and

manifest your greatness you can't be a high achiever if you don't feel good you

don't take care of yourself so I'm taking care of me and then you're not it

takes the edge off your life it helps you to manage things rather than

allowing them to manage you gives you more personal power to deal with stuff

take care of you now here's something else I suggest for

you become aware of what your needs are and develop compassion towards yourself

despite your human defense develop compassion for yourself despite your

human defects you will never be perfect hello you will never be perfect you're

human you've made a lot of mistakes you've done a lot of dumb stupid things

guess what you're not through yet you're gonna do some more hurry up and

get it over with it's alright gotta learn to be gentle

with yourself make it alright what you don't know mistakes that you make it's

okay handle it learn from the experience

decide that you are going to whatever you become involved in to be upfront to

be true to yourself are you getting what you need out of it and be upfront with

people and tell them what you need from them don't assume that they know don't

say I thought you knew no tell people up front here's what I need from this in

order for this to work for me be upfront with your stuff tell them up front so

they are not surprised later on so your feelings aren't hurt later on see if

they tell you upfront they can't do it now you know you can keep on stepping

but tell people upfront here's what I want in order for me to play this game

with you and we're going to dance that's what I got to get out of it see if you

don't take care of your needs guess what you will always have that nagging song

in the back of your mind say well when do I get mine what am I going to start

enjoying this so we're going to have a good time together do I get any noodles

out of this at all you're just not asking that question

everybody's happy having a good time but you they said what we thought you were

happy how could you think that way you weren't saying anything well I'm saying

something now hope you got that

see we're taught to be quiet and not speak up for ourselves and not

to be selfish if you don't take care of you who do you think is gonna take care

of you who's gonna look out for you better than you will no one no one's

gonna do that you got a business no one's going to take care of your

business better than you nobody nobody anything you want to do in life you've

got to take ownership of it and say hey I'm gonna make this happen

be willing to venture out and do something that you have fantasize about

doing and you know you probably won't be good at it but do it anyhow case in

point I have always wanted to say I've always wanted to do that I'm gonna sing

a song and if I don't do nothing but just a few lines chances all

now it might not be a loop of Andhra you know on Andy Williams you know but it

might be a little Perry Como up in there a little map is in that kinkow this

thing is avoid people and situations that upset you hello see there's some

people that know just how to push your button they know just what to say

so you know what I don't even deal with them I just support excuse me hey um I

want to talk about something I'm Sam excuse me I'll be right back

now you might call that cowardly but I'm not going to expend any energy arguing

with anybody life is too short ladies and gentleman and unpredictable I don't

want to spend my time arguing with anybody so I avoid situations that will

get me upset I don't argue with people I fought things I don't look at movies

that that frightened me last right movie I saw was the Exorcist I never saw

another and after that I never forget going home at that time I was married

and I was blowing the horn going up into the driveway I said open the door

I pull up open the door to get out and I saw Lord to godness I blowing the horn

my wife said I'm fasten your seat belt fool I said oh all right that movie

scared me out of my wits so I don't look at scary movies I'm one of the people in

the scary movie like this tell me tell me what's happening out n17 I threw

popcorn all over everybody that girls spitting on those people I don't do that

no no no no no sorry that I slept in the house of lights on all over the house

for two weeks I was embarrassed but your children said daddy turn myself No so I

don't do I just avoid things I go see comedies I love Danny DeVito and Steve

Martin I like things that make me laugh make me feel good they're like the

little boy in me life is just too serious here's something else that can

help to increase your self-esteem draw the line ladies and gentlemen there are

certain things that we just go through life just taking and at some point you

just got to draw the line and just say enough is enough you got to do that with

yourself just draw the line you know see when I manage my food choices I get

on scale every day but I get to a certain level that's a crisis level I

just get down stop doing setups right this your duck breasts look hey right

away if I if my income drop to a certain level I go crazy I start working like

you see this callus on my ear you see that callous right there that's not I

can't let's got there yeah my income drop and I made 200 calls a day as

punishment don't you ever let this happen again

because I'll never never never be broke again so you got to draw a line you just

got a drunk there's certain things that you just don't permit if you got

negative people in your life just once look here I was talking to someone who

loved very much ahead of just dynamic relationship with us look here I can't

grow from that if you persist in and saying those kind of things to me I'm

saying to you right now I won't tolerate that

and I will terminate this because I'm not going to expose myself to this type

of humiliation I don't like that I don't like to get any calling names and

putting each other down like that come back to them I'm sorry no that won't get

it so you put a nail in a hole you make that impress you pull a nail out that

mark is still there that's not for God we can't subtract

that from the record so don't don't say that to me so we were talking about

something else person said again boom you'll loser very good and you are too

because you just lost a very good friend I don't choose to be around you anymore

and that was it I say that's cold maybe it is but I get people out of my life

that aren't good for me one negative stroke is sixteen times more powerful

than a positive stroke and if you have people around you who are not sensitive

to who you are and the people that can hurt you the most ladies and gentlemen

are the people that you love that you love they're the ones that you're

vulnerable to they're the ones that can get to you and they're first insensitive

I don't care who they are see if you don't draw the line with

people if you just let them run rampant in your life and you let things happen

to you that you don't feel good about if you continue to allow it to happen you

won't feel good about yourself your image of yourself will erode so you've

got to draw the line in the conditions that you find yourself in here's a

jarring question why are known Hills preferable to strange heavens why would

people live in a known hell a lot of people just go to a job where they're

miserable day in and day out why do people stay together and they're

miserable sleeping in separate rooms or arguing are the only

thing they have in common is paying the bills don't talk don't communicate don't

share anything together day in and day out is short and unpredictable that life

is being mean to each other what do people do that known Hills are

preferable to strange heavens because it's familiar see life is rough ladies

and gentlemen it's rough and it's scary it's scary growing it's scary taking a

chance it's scary acting on your intuition on your guts it's scary it's

frightening there are people that just tolerating things right now

and they're immobilized by fear they can see the hammer coming and they afraid to

even move because it's scary

federal White said something to go against the dominant thinking of your

family friends and those people you associate with everyday is perhaps the

most difficult act of courage you will ever perform see when you start growing

when you start changing the way you walk the way you talk the way you act the way

you respond to things the way you use your time when you start saying no I

can't do that why you do you're too busy you don't have the time to I have my own

agenda I've got something that I'm doing not lying to try and get out of it just

said no I'm busy doing something that I want to do or I don't want to do that

and I'm not going to do it

I'm not mad not upset about it I just don't want to do it why well I

don't have to give you any reasons why I don't want to do it but listen thank you

so much for asking me take it easier hey I thought you were alright is that

Alright oh boy ask me do I care about that if people can put you on a guilt

trip they will and use you and abuse you over and over and over again you gotta

draw the line you have to draw the line on it don't go through life feeling like

you're powerless victims are people that are powerless you're not powerless you

are powerful you direct the power in your life whatever your life is right

now it is a duplication of your consciousness is result of how you have

decided to use your power that's all it is that's not who you are that's just a

perverted use of your power that you aren't satisfied with and you've got the

power to change that wherever you are huh I don't know but I know you've got

the power to do that but you don't know what has happened to me it really

doesn't matter what has happened to you see the only thing that really matters

is what are you going to do about it that's all that matters that's all that

matters you can allow it to destroy you or you can allow it to bill you up John

Powell a book all while I'm afraid to tell you I am and he went to get a

newspaper guy was very discourteous to and he was very courteous to the guy the

guy who was with him said why would you be as courteous to this guy as you were

considering how Rudy was to you he said I'm not going to allow that man to

determine how I'm going to act the things that's going to happen to you in

life ladies and gentlemen make it okay Lord grant me the serenity to accept the

things that I cannot change I cannot change the fact that when I ask my son

to go that I will no longer take care of him then he became angry and perhaps

hate my guts the change of things that I can I can change how I respond to it

I can become upset nervous tense about it

think about it or I can say it's okay he who cares less wins
