What is Christian Mindfulness for Kids? - Duration: 7:52.

I'm not saying technology's a bad thing. good grief! I'm on YouTube. Today's video

is all about mindfulness for Christian kids. hi! I'm Shawn. If you are new welcome!

I post new content every Tuesday and Wednesday so while you are here I hope

that you will consider subscribing. Let's get into today's four tips to

raise mindful Christian kids. First off we need to talk about what does it

mean to be mindful and Christian. I found a definition from an article

called "Christian mindfulness" by Kim Gaines Eckhardt. I will link her

article in the description box down below. Reading from the notes here it says,

defines Christian mindfulness as: "intention to pay attention, intention to

pay attention to each and every moment of our life non-judgmentally." This is

opposed to our busy multitasking, task- driven, plugged into technology life. so

that's opposed to that. The practice of Christian mindfulness

engages our body purposefully through purposeful silence and being in the

present God moments of daily life. Christian mindfulness is being present

and finding those moments in our daily life where we are open to being present

with God. How does this translate over into the life of our kids? My seven

month old baby is talking, babbling over here if you hear any

babbling in the background. Here are my four tips to be mindful Christians

This is relatively new to me. Some of these things I've been doing for years

but the whole concept of "mindfulness." I think mindfulness is a buzzword that

helps us to focus more on those moments that God interacts with us in

life and ways that we can interact also with God in our daily life. Here are

my four tips. My first tip is to do breath prayers with your child.

Let me know if you guys have noticed this but in my ten-year-old, he's a

preteen now, he does have a little bit of anxiety about school. I feel like there

are moments where he just needs to be calm and be still so we are

practicing breath prayers. It's simply breathing in and breathing out.

You can say something like "praise God from whom all blessings flow". You

want to breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. That's just a

simple breath prayer. Tip 2 is unplugging from social media and tech time. We

have a rule in our house where I only allow, as a reward, one hour of tech time.

That can be TV...I know that sounds like a lot when I was a kid it

was like 30 minutes, you got like a 30 minute show when you came home but that

was it. but can be a TV or iPad time or gaming

time because my my ten-year-old loves love's love's online gaming with his

friends. So we have limited tech time. I feel like that's a good thing to go

unplugged and for myself too... but that's a whole other topic about unplugging for

myself that I need to work on... but unplugging and just having those moments

to encourage quiet play. And encourage reading or maybe some light music, not

some heavy music because music can sometimes also be noise in our heads and

distract us from living in the present. I feel like a big part of being

mindful Christians is living in the present and being present in those daily

moments. So giving our children time to, you know, read their favorite book,

play with their toys... I don't know about you but sometimes I find my son has his

whole room of toys and he'll come to me saying "mom I don't know what to do. what

do I do?" and it's not our job to entertain our kids!

I strongly believe that it's not our job to entertain our kids but we can give

our kids a list of choices. I have a list that I will go over with my son.

you know you've unplugged from TV you don't know what to do. Here are some

things you can do: you can go play outside, you can read a book, and you can

do some quiet time. I think that is living in the present and being open to

experiencing God and having God interact in those moments of quiet time. That was

long. That took me a long time to get that point. I'm sorry you guys. I did take a

long time. Tip number three is modeling presence in our mundane life, in

our daily routine life. Being present. As parents, I highly believe how we

model our life, that's what our kids- how our kids are going to see how things are

supposed to be done. So if we're modeling being plugged in all the time to

technology or, you know, on our phones we're running chores or any type of time

where we get bored and we're using technology on our phones then that's the

behavior that they are also going to model. They don't see us pray. They

don't see us spending quiet time in Scripture then our kids aren't going to

do that. You know, it's not always up to the church to teach us... to teach our kids

Christianity. It's up to us, as parents, to teach to Christianity. Okay, that's a

soapbox. I'm not saying technology's a bad thing.

good grief! I'm on YouTube. I'm on all the social medias, except for

snapchat. I'm not on snapchat. I don't feel like there's anything wrong

with technology but everything, you know, when we overdo it then I think there's

something wrong. When it rules our life and when we find ourselves turning to

those things that take us away from our kids and take our kids away from

interacting with us and having relationships then I feel like we have

moved away from being mindful Christians. Tip number four. This is a bonus tip

because you may not agree with me on this. But, we can be mindful

Christian's by practicing yoga poses. With my son and I plan on doing this

when my daughter is old enough as well. But, especially for active

kids, they need to be moving a lot of times and so to be silent and mindful of

their bodies. Part of being a mindful Christian is connecting to your body and

being mindful of how your body feels. This ties in to your health as well

and your emotional state as well as your spiritual state. But just being mindful

of your body. Preteens are so awkward! so awkward! but just taking some yoga

poses that are calming for children that can help them just focus in on their

body and listening to their own body. I think that's a part of being mindful

Christians. You know a Christian is not always up in our head and focusing on

the spiritual, it's also living in the corporal moments and being present in our

bodies. All right, so I would love for you to give this video a thumbs up if you

would like for me to maybe flesh out more of these tips that I've given you

today. I can do individual videos on these different tips to kind of give you

more practical ideas and kind of go more in depth because today's video was more

of a short, sweet, to the point- even though I did go on a couple of rants-

was more focused. Baby girl over here, my baby girl, is a little cranky. I think

it's time for nap time. I will see you guys in my next video. I post

every Tuesday and Wednesday. You're crazy! you're being such a good girl over

there. yes you are.

Hi, I'm Sami, from Fawzi academy, In this video, I will talk about,

How do I upload an MP3 to YouTube? First of all. Mp3 is a sound file, not a video file.

It need to have at least one picture, added to the sound file by using an external video editing Program.

You can use the YouTube Audio Library to get free music and sound effects to use in your videos.

Go to Creator Studio, Create, Audio Library. Use the tabs at the top of the page to choose "Free music" or "Sound effects." The bars next

to the songs show how popular a track is. When you've found a track you like, click the arrow to download it.

Find free-to-use images. Go to Advanced Image Search for images or Advanced Search for anything else.

In the "all these words" box, type what you want to search. In the "Usage rights" section, use the drop-down

TORINO-INTER | Extra Time: highlights and tactical analysis - Duration: 5:02.

Good evening Nerazzurri fans.

It's Monday night and, as ever, Extra Time is back

to look over Torino 1-0 Inter with Massimo Paganin.

Hi Massimo.

Hi Federica and good evening everyone.

Alberto Santi is here too. Welcome along Alberto.

Hi Federica, hi Massimo and good evening everyone.

Let's get straight into today's talking points:

"When 13 chances aren't enough";

"Attacks from all sides";

"Rafinha and Borja, different number 10s";

Finally, Inter's next opponents,

"Gian Piero Gasperini's Atalanta".

Max, with 13 chances created and eight shots on target,

Inter can't really blame themselves too much.

No, Inter played well in terms of the intensity of their performance

but above all in how they managed the match,

affording Torino very few chances.

Inter didn't manage to achieve what they set out to

in terms of keeping a sixth straight clean sheet.

That might have been where the team was found wanting yesterday:

the competitive edge you need to come away with a positive result

and set a record run without conceding.

That was what was missing which would have been useful

in a game like Sunday's in order to secure a big result.

By a "big result", I mean a draw as well.

As we said last week, it wasn't necessarily crucial to win

but what was important was not losing.

Yes, Inter created a lot of opportunities,

unfortunately though they lost the game.

That hasn't put anything in jeopardy

but it's not what the Nerazzurri would have wanted

from a mental perspective at this moment in time.

Alberto, only one point

now separates Lazio, Roma and Inter.

There are seven matches to play

and the race for Champions League football is still

very much up for grabs.

It's still wide open and nothing has been jeopardised,

which is the good news,

plus it's the Rome derby in the next round of fixtures.

That means, thankfully, that neither side can get three points,

which means Inter could once again leapfrog one of them.

Both of them can't get three points,

not neither of them. One of them can get three points.

One of them can but, from our perspective,

all that matters is that they both can't.

First of all, Inter play before the Rome derby.

The Nerazzurri face Atalanta on Saturday

and they must win to hold up their end of the bargain.

I'm not saying a victory at Torino

would have allowed Inter to draw at Atalanta

but it would have been a different situation.

However, the fact that Inter didn't even draw on Sunday,

which I think would have been the minimum

based on the team's performance,

means that they have to win their next game at Atalanta.

Between now and the end of the season,

with seven matches remaining,

Inter must drop as few points as possible

because now there is very little margin for error.

Massimo, Inter bossed the match and dominated proceedings,

creating lots down the right side

through Joao Cancelo and Antonio Candreva.

Lots of attacks came down the left wing too

thanks to Ivan Perisic and Danilo D'Ambrosio.

Either way, the Nerazzurri worked the channels a lot

as they tend to do.

They weren't able to make the most of their big chances

and occasionally they got their final ball wrong.

Alberto, Inter were missing that cutting edge

that Samir Handanovic referred to post-match.

Absolutely. What's crazy is that,

having scored eight goals against Sampdoria and Hellas Verona,

we didn't find the net even once against AC Milan and Torino.

It's not that we didn't score

because we didn't create chances.

We fashioned plenty of openings.

However, the front line has faltered in the last two games.

I still believe - and I'd like Massimo's take on this -

that if Inter continue to perform as they did

in the derby and against Torino,

they could comfortably qualify for the Champions League.

I don't think there will be other games

where Inter have eight shots on target

and fail to score even once.

It's astonishing when you think about Roma and Inter.

Roma had 21 shots and bombarded the Fiorentina goal

yet lost 2-0.

Inter had 13 efforts on goal against Torino

and lost 1-0.

Lazio created very little yet won 2-1 at Udinese.

That's all for today but there's still time

for the odds courtesy of Bwin, with Francesca Belussi.

Next up Inter are away at Atalanta.

Let's check out the odds for the match result.

A home win is priced at 17/10

The odds of a draw are 11/5.

The away win is priced at 8/5.

How many goals will we see?

Let's see the over/under odds.

Over 2.5 goals is priced at evens,

while the odds of under 2.5 are 18/25.

Presenting Comrade's projects on Bloomberg TV 2018 - Duration: 12:49.

We continue our program with new models for collaboration,

for cooperation between business parties.

They are based on the innovative blockchain technology

which shook the cryptocurrency world

and is also entering the business world extremely fast.

Our guests are Todor Kolev, chairman of the Comrade Cooperative,

and Ivan Vasilev, member of the Board of Directors of the Comrade Cooperative.

Welcome, guys!

-Hello!

-This thing is extremely interesting.

First of all, tell us what is this new model you are developing?

Later we will explain what is blockchain

and why is it so important?

-The Comrade Cooperative is a digital autonomous organization.

We found out that

this is the best legal form

which uses the latest trends,

according to which people create

decentralized autonomous organizations.

We established the cooperative

in December last year in Bulgaria

and the idea is to work together

united by a common goal

and to develop start-ups

which would later grow into successful businesses.

Currently, we are developing a system for e-governance

which will be entirely based on blockchain

which will allow us this kind of collaboration.

-Meaning not only companies but every kind of organization?

-Yes.

-Actually, we have been thinking about the system

for managing both a company and a cooperative in this way.

The system would also allow managing the budget of a municipality.

- Tell us a bit more about the way you are going to do this.

People are wondering what blockchain is,

how it is going to manage a budget

and how the organizations will be connected.

- Some people would think this is a system for draining money…

-I can easily explain this.

Blockchain gives you the opportunity

to autonomously run programs.

This means that there is no person controlling them;

these programs just exist.

According to this logic, you can create a smart wallet.

A wallet in which we can put money

and it can be withdrawn only according to pre-established rules.

If we continue this idea further,

this wallet can be transformed into a game.

A game similar to Monopoly

or another board game like Catan.

The idea is as follows:

we put money into the game,

we play the game according to the rules, we collaborate,

and the result is that the game rewards us.

This is the idea more or less.

- This idea is very interesting when we are talking about public resource.

- When we are talking about a municipality

there could be the following case:

there is a certain budget

that the municipality wants to allocate

for the municipality's wellbeing

but it is not clear how exactly to allocate the money.

This is where we can create a system with tokens…

- Despite the fact that there is a budget

and it is clear how to allocate the money.

Many times changes happen on the go.

- We are talking about an experimental model

and it is not clear, if it is going to work.

- Tell us about the model and how it is going to work for a municipality.

- I will give just a bit more context.

Our system is solving three problems.

The first problem is called the peer-to-peer rewards.

These are rewards between the people

who participate in a certain system.

It solves the problem about allocating the budget

in a certain system

and the problem of allocating the profit

in a certain system.

When we are talking about a municipality,

we are solving the second problem.

The idea is the following:

every participant in the system

receives a certain amount of tokens in the beginning of the month.

They receive the tokens maybe in the form

of a universal basis income.

Not an income that he can use for himself.

He can allocate to budgets

and to people he is collaborating with.

- This means that with these tokens he can vote how to allocate the money.

- Yes.

- This is genius.

This is a form of direct democracy

without the expensive referendums for each issue.

How did you come up with this idea?

When did you start working together

and what is your background?

-Before I started working on the idea that came from Todor,

I have been working in the president's administration.

I have been developing analyses in different areas,

including technology.

There I realized that

the public sector needs to solve similar problems.

The problems that the technology of today can solve.

Todor's idea to create an autonomous system based on blockchain

where decisions will be taken in a democratic way,

inspired me to participate in the project

and continue its development.

Maybe Todor can talk a bit more how he came up with the idea.

- 10 years ago, 2008, during the big recession,

I founded another company called Obecto.

Back then I realized

that there is something broken in the world.

At this time I was working at another company

in which I felt as a replacable cog in a larger machine.

I wanted to establish a company in which

people will be more important than profits,

where we will be working together.

10 years ago I founded Obecto

and since the beginning I started experimenting

with different models.

The company has always been open,

everybody knew how much money the company makes,

what the remuneration rates are.

We experimented with several bonus systems.

The natural evolution of these bonus systems

combined with the significant attention towards Ethereum in 2014

made me think that this is the way to solve all problems

and create this autonomous game.

Several years afterwards we found the Comrade Cooperative.

- If, for example, me and Kuzman have a company,

what would be the way

in which you will integrate us in the system,

how would you support the way it will function?

-Ok. Well, I think about people as of intelligent agents

who are optimizing a certain function.

And the current remuneration models that exist in a certain company,

do not direct them to optimize for the right things.

For me, the salary is a form of socialism.

You go to work and know that your salary is secure.

No one expects anything from you

but to go to work and cover some minimal criteria.

Our system connects the business' goals with people's goals.

- There is real added value and people are motivated to do more.

- You are also developing an artificial intelligence system.

Tell us more about it.

- This is another project we are working on

with a priority during this year.

This is a system which allows

the self-education of an artificial intelligent

of a distributed computers and computing power.

The idea is to use the already developed network of cryptocurrency mining

and to use this existing computing power

for the training and educating of artificial intelligence.

Last year, Google proved in several papers

that machines are creating a better artificial intelligence than people

and it is a matter of computing power

how much better the artificial intelligence will be.

- How much better it will be educated.

- There is an accumulation of processing power with the crypto hype and you want to use it.

- Yes. Most probably, this year

there will be a switch to a new algorithm in the Ethereum cryptocurrency

which will make mining unnecessary.

- You are working with these coins that are being allocated

and help for the budgeting in a company or municipality

through Ethereum?

- Currently we are using a prototype for this network.

In the future we are planning to use different

more modern networks.

But for now we use this one.

- Unfortunately we don't have enough time.

These topics are very interesting

and you talk about things that sound like from the future.

However they are arriving fast.

What are your plans from now on?

- For this year we are planning to develop the system

for e-governance

and the system for self-education of the artificial intelligence.

For next year we are planning to develop a system

that will help people find developer or specialists for their project - a marketplace.

Its codename is STAMAT – software team automat.

The other project that we are planning to start

is in education and its working name is Norma.

It aims to develop people's skills

according to their interests

and take them along the path

from being curious to being competent in a certain area.

- Last week our guest was the Deputy Minister of Economy Mr. Borisov

and he shared that there will be a significant resource supporting start-ups.

How do you develop your own business from financial point of view

how do you finance and organize this forward looking projects.

It is very interesting for the young people.

-And additionally, how many people do you have on the team?

- 16 people initially founded the Comrade Cooperative.

However, people who are gravitating around it are about 25.

Many people are showing interest towards us,

calling us, wanting to be included and to help in some way

This is an interesting idea that attracts

different people including investors.

We are close to signing a deal with an investor.

Despite the fact that it is a cooperative,

this is a profitable business for the investors.

- I want to add something regarding the investment.

We have an innovative approach there as well.

The investment is in the form of a loan.

Unlike the traditional equity investment

but taking a loan that is paid back in several years.

- So you go to the investor

and tell him to give you a loan

in the form of a share and we will pay it back.

Is it possible to convert it into capital?

- The idea is that the cooperative does not have a capital.

The return of the loan is 8x (times).

It is being executed through those tokens

which is a bit longer to explain but the return is 8x (times).

- Since there is interest from investors, the system is clear.

- Yes.

- We wish you success

and you are welcome back in let's say 6 months,

so that we can observe how the dynamic evolved.

We have often done shows with such young people

who become very successful in 3-4 years

and have a developed business.

- When should they come back?

- In the summer.

- Todor Kolev and Ivan Vasilev were our guests.

street skateboarding using longer boards

and reverse kingpin trucks,

and focusing on bigger wheels for stability

to go pretty much as fast as we possibly can.

Downhill skateboarding, to me,

is very freeing.

I'm a very hyperactive person.

So my mind is always going and going and going.

When I'm going fast and I'm in a gnarly situation,

everything goes silent and I'm completely at peace

and I'm where I need to be.

Going down with high speed on a skateboard,

just a piece of wood with wheels...

You can do whatever you want, so you have...

You have, like...

The power to do what you want to do.

Yeah, it feels really cool.

Downhill skateboarding is just

solely a rush in adrenaline,

and also a means of expression.

Going down a hill on your skateboard

is just an amazing feeling.

You get the adrenaline rush like nothing else

and you just feel like an outlaw,

and I think that's what drives people to do it, as well.

You're focused, absolutely,

on what you're doing in that moment.

Things can happen so fast and you need to be able to react.

It's a sport,

but it's also really just a lifestyle.

BEST PRACTICE | T-Systems Builds Smart Factory with Magna Steyr. - Duration: 3:38.

Magna is one of the world's largest automotive suppliers and contract manufacturers. In order to remain competitive Magna ...

... is constantly optimising its vehicle production in Graz. Christoph Krammer is in charge of technology control, overall vehicle production, ...

... and his vision is that of production in a Smart Factory. Driverless transport systems play a small but important part in this process.

The Smart Factory vision is, effectively, to boost flexibility. For the driverless transport system this means, for one, that ...

... we want to transport material with it. For another, we want to transport machines, such as production robots. In the final stage we also aim ...

... to transport the product in order not, as usual, to have a classical production line but to reduce part ...

... of it by transporting boxes with the product individually – such as for configurations with which not every vehicle is equipped.

Using driverless transport systems, or DTSs, is nothing new in manufacturing. But Magna is aiming for a new kind of DTS that transports vehicle parts ...

... to the respective production station automatically.

Driverless transport systems have been around for decades. They usually run on tracks, such as magnetic rails ...

... that are built into the floor. What makes ours different is that we use the map of the digital factory – our factory's 3D data – and ...

... the driverless transport system scans the surroundings with its sensors. Superimposing these two maps, it determines its position freely in the factory.

That being a benefit Magna aims to use to make production more flexible:

The advantage of free navigation is that you can specify the starting and finishing time in the software and the driverless ...

... transport system calculates the way to get there itself. That enables you to change routes and orders very fast.

If driverless transport systems are to be important components of flexible production there must be no unscheduled system failures. That is why ...

... Christoph Krammer wants to fit them out with sensor boxes that collect the DTS's technical status data. To do that he has launched a pilot project with T-Systems.

The aim of collecting this data is, for one, to go in for predictive maintenance, recognising status and deciding, for example, when a service is due.

For another, we aim to be aware of stresses and thereby, for example, to be able to set endurance runs to test the DTS.

Michael Böhm, in charge of operational business with Magna since 2002, sees in the Internet of Things solution ...

... further potential for the global company.

The special solution that we are providing consists more or less of several components. One is connectivity, or how data ...

... is sent to the Cloud. The other is data processing by our systems in the Cloud and data evaluation for further processing.

And there is to be more than a pilot project with Magna.

Next year we plan to identify further projects, further use cases. Next year we aim quite clearly to position ourselves as a partner, a link between IT and business.

That means using for business the exact technologies that are needed in in order to continue to be the biggest.

🎉💜 Giveaway Announcement and Survey Results! 💜🎉 - Duration: 19:34.

Hi everyone, it's Katey, and today I am announcing the giveaway winner from the survey giveaway

that I just did at the beginning of March and it ran through the month of March, and

I also thought it would be fun to kind of run through with you some of the stuff that

came up in that survey, because I found it very interesting. So we had about 250 people

respond to the survey, which it's huge, I was not expecting that many of you to bother

going through the survey, so thank you very much for taking the time. And because there

were so many of you, I didn't like handwrite out so I could do a fun you know draw out

of the hat, I did it on the computer. And so the winner of the giveaway is Tracy 'Kiwi

Girl,' so I will have emailed you, Tracy, by the time this video is up and so hopefully

you'll have responded and will be well on our way for me sending you the Flowers of

the Night Oracle by Cheralyn Darcey and putting together a reading for you! So the first thing

that I found very interesting was for the question where I asked you what your favourite

content that is on my channel is, and I allowed you guys to pick as many options as you would

like and, of course, I tried with all of the questions, as many as I could, to include

an 'other' option. And I just sort of thought it was very interesting, this was one of the

things that I was most looking forward to finding out, was what content that I create

that you guys enjoyed the most, or the majority of you enjoy. And number one by far with 90%

of people saying that this was one of their favourite types of content, was book and deck

reviews. And I'm actually really happy to hear this because, I mean, I know I don't

do deck and book reviews all of the time, and there is a very good reason for that,

and that is because it takes forever you know putting together a review, trying to put all

your thoughts together, all of that stuff, and then also just the filming, filming a

deck review takes a long time because you know, I film and then I film the cards, and

yeah kind of, it's kind of like editing two videos and then editing them together, all

of that stuff. So I can't do them all the time but I love doing them and I take a lot

of pride in my reviews, so I'm really glad to hear that you guys enjoy those. I always

try to be as thorough and thoughtful as they can while still being concise and helpful,

so yeah it made me really happy to hear that you guys enjoy my reviews. The next favourite

was just like generally Tarot videos, which was about 77% of you. And then 72% of you,

which was the third, said that you enjoy my favourites videos which, again, are one of

my favourite videos to make. Unboxings and first impressions came in next at about 65-66%,

which I did find very interesting. I'm not entirely surprised, but interesting because

on my channel I do find that you know those unboxings and first impressions tend to get

quite a lot of views, not always it, depends on the deck, but you know their chances are

pretty high of getting a large amount of views. But they are also the videos that I cop a

lot of criticism on, so I was quite curious to find out where this - unboxings, first

impressions - would fall on the list, and it is fourth. Next was my pagan and spirituality,

alternative spirituality topics, and then there was a bunch within a few percentage

points of 50%, and they were things like my Therapeutic Tarot series, my more advice or

topic discussion videos, tags, chatty videos, or videos on mental health. And then my vlogs

got a 30%, which I was pretty aware of, I know that not many of you like or watch my

vlogs, but there's a like a small little group of you who love them. And then in the 'other'

section I had people saying that they enjoy the spreads videos that I do, and I know I

don't do a huge amount of those, but quite a few of you said that you enjoy the spreads

that I create. And then a lot of you mentioned the how-to and technique sort of videos, which

was interesting because I'm not sure if that is Tarot specific or other things, I don't

know. And then quite a number of you said you really enjoy my more political videos

actually, so the videos that I've done on Aboriginal issues, cultural appropriation,

race, all of that sort of stuff, which did quite surprise me, but another thing that

I'm quite glad to hear. You know, that stuff, the political stuff, isn't stuff that I always

want to be talking about on this channel for multiple reasons, one it just is very draining

emotionally to kind of really put all your thoughts together and then put them out for

the world to hear and judge really, but you know, from time to time I do try to because

I think it's important and it's a big part of who I am. But another reason that I don't

do it all the time is because I am very much aware of my privilege. I'm certainly a minority

in some aspects, but in many, many ways, I'm a person of privilege and I certainly try

to limit how much I speak on issues that I am not an expert on, that isn't a related

to my direct experience. And I try to walk that line of being an ally and showing solidarity,

while not you know elevating my voice more than it needs to be. The next section was

for you guys to kind of just fill out some things that you would like me to discuss or

explore more on the channel, and I had a lot of you say that you would like more Therapeutic

Tarot, which was interesting considering only about 50% of you said you liked those videos

but, I suppose, those of you who do like them really quite enjoy them, which is nice. A

few of you said you want more unboxings, although, obviously, that is quite limited as to what

I buy or trade, although I don't I don't unbox you know for video everything that I get,

so maybe I'll try to do that a little bit more often. It's not something I like to do

too often just because I'm aware that I'm certainly somebody who likes to go and sit

back and think over something before I then you know say, say my piece, so although unboxings

are quite fun, I don't I don't feel like I'm particularly good at them as far as providing

you know something other than just a bit of entertainment, although you know a bit of

entertainment never hurt anybody either! There was a lot of requests for more personal stuff,

whether that had to do with me more explicitly talking about my experience with mental health,

or alcohol abuse, or you know what I do at the altar, or a house tour, all of those sort

of things, and I certainly I understand where that stuff's coming from, because I love those

that sort of content from the people that I watch, but I'm just not sure how comfortable

I am with all of those things. But certainly it's interesting to find out that you guys

are interested in that from me so, I'll certainly have a think about you know where my boundaries

are and how I might be able to include that a little bit more. I suppose I'm a little

bit cautious of oversharing with my mental health. Like, it's really important for me

to be vocal, and that was almost an act of defiance because after, especially after my

suicide attempt, I felt a lot of shame ,I really internalised lot of shame, and so it

was almost this act of defiance to be like, 'No, I'm going to be vocal about this and

you know I'm not going to be proud about it or whatever, but I'm not going to be ashamed,

but I'm not going to let myself be ashamed'. And then also, of course, you know it's just

important for me I think, you know, visibility of these sorts of issues is important, but

also you know it's not easy putting yourself out there and the more personal you get the

more, you kind of, more ammunition you give to people who aren't very kind, and you know

just the fact that I'm open about my suicide attempt and my alcohol- my history with alcohol,

you know that's given some ammunition to some very unkind people already, so you know I

certainly need to be I need to be pretty strong with my boundaries about what I do and don't

share, but also I know that it's important and I know that it's interesting, too. I had

a lot of you asking for things like collabs and live videos which was very interesting

because that's certainly not- I've not done either of those things before really, I've

been interviewed a couple of times but not not a lot and so it's another thing that I'm

not- I'm quite comfortable where I am, you know with my I film things, I edit them, I

upload them... but it is, especially the live things, I have been thinking about those for

a while but I'm not quite sure how that would work for me. I doubt I would be interested

in doing like you know, hopping on for an hour and doing live readings for people. That's

just not how I work really and if you want a reading from me I have an Etsy shop for

that. So I'm not really sure what format that would take other than just being chatty. So

if you have any ideas for what you would want a live video with me to be like I suppose

you can let me know in the comments, because I just haven't quite worked out what that

would be like for me. And quite a number of you asking for more specifically Australian

content, which is absolutely something I've been thinking about doing. I've been trying

to put together a video of like resources for Australian pagans, also thinking about-

just putting a video together of the Australian decks that I have, things like that, so that

is definitely on the list. And it's good to hear that some of you would be interested

in that, too. I had a handful of you asking for basically me to go back to old decks and

discuss them. So you know for decks I did a review on two or three years ago, or I unboxed

a few years ago, and if those decks are still around, to kind of revisit those, and I thought

that was very interesting so I have a few videos coming up on that. And quite a few

of you saying that you would like more book reviews. You know, as I mentioned, reviews

take quite a lot of time although I think I've kind of slowed off on the book reviews

lately, partly because I've been having so much trouble reading. If you've been following,

especially my favourites videos, I've mentioned that the past few months for whatever reason,

if my anxiety is bad or I'm just not, I don't know, I'm feeling pretty good, I just- my

concentration levels aren't great, so I haven't really read a lot of books, but also I just

kind of felt that maybe my books- the books that I was reading wasn't- they weren't especially

relevant. But perhaps perhaps I need to get back in the habit of that. I also sometimes

feel like I give quite- it's succinct but quite a bit of information, like a mini review

in my favourites videos, especially when it comes to books. But I do I do love a good

book review, so I'm going to start trying to incorporate that again a little bit more.

Quite a number of you are asking me to do like either actual readings or mock readings

to get an idea of you know my reading style or you know just to have readings. And that

is something I've been requested of quite a lot over the years, and it's not something

that I feel particularly comfortable with, or that I would be particularly good at, for

a few reasons. One is simply the fact that I find it very hard to do mock readings, you

know when I pull out cards and I don't have you know an intuitive connection to somebody

like a specific situation, a specific person, I find I just end up like listing off very

generic possible meanings of each card, like they don't start to weave together in a story,

they don't create a picture for me in the same way that reading for a person does. But

then I also don't feel comfortable doing a bunch of free readings on my channel you know

for lots of different reasons, but you know I do have an Etsy shop for that sort of thing

if you want a reading from me. And I have thought on and off about doing kind of like

general you know monthly readings or something on the channel, but I know so many people

do that and I don't, I don't know if you know we need another person throwing their hat

in the mix for you know, monthly readings, so I'm not really sure how to incorporate

that in a way that you know feels me, but also aligns with what I want this channel

to be and aligns with my values. So I hear you guys on that, I'm just not sure how it

would work for me, but if you have any ideas you know kind of around what I've just said

and perhaps I'm just not thinking of something, I would love to hear your thoughts. I also

had a bunch of requests for videos of stuff that I suppose you guys are interested in

but that just I don't do, so that I don't I don't have anything of value to add really.

And so some of those things were you know astrology, Lenormand, Tarot de Marseiile,

numerology, chakras, and reversals. So I've spoken about you know the fact that I don't

do reversals and why, but that- that's kind of the extent of my input really because I

don't use them, and so a lot of these other things like astrology, Lenormand, they're

not really big in my practice so I don't have a whole lot to say on them. Those things probably

won't be coming up on my channel anytime soon unless I develop you know organically an interest

in those things and then as I develop I might share that, but for now, I apologise, but

don't hold out for videos on those topics. A few things did come up in that section of

things that people wanted from me or wanted more from me that I actually already have

done, so I wanted to kind of run through those that perhaps you know if you're just newer

here and you haven't seen some of the older videos that I've done, I thought I would let

you know that they do exist so you can have a watch of those things that you are interested

in. One was I got a lot of requests for videos kind of talking about how I use Tarot for

my mental well-being and I have a whole series on that, it is called Therapeutic Tarot, so

if you missed that I will leave a link below and leave it in the cards. I do that intermittently

and I've shared, I think I'm at like eight videos or something now, where I provide quite

explicit, clear activities, or processes, or spreads that I have used for my mental

well-being and my mental health. I had someone ask me about my Which Lilith? book, and I

have done a book review on that as well so I'll leave that in the description box, a

link to that. I had people asking for vlogs and I did do vlogmas a year and a bit ago,

so December 2016. I do the occasional vlog since then, I did one for my birthday in September.

I had a couple of people requesting a bookshelf tour, I did do that during vlogmas, so a bit

over a year ago, obviously things have changed but you know not so much that I feel like

I need to redo that video, quite a number of my books have stayed the same. So I'll

leave a link to that, that was a fun video to film, I filmed it late at night because

I couldn't sleep and I just tidied my room, so that's a fun video if you're interested.

I also had a couple of people saying that they would like for my readings there to be

an option for a subscription, especially with the letter, the snail mail readings that I

do. And I actually do offer that, I have a listing for a three or a six month reading

option where I will send you a reading each month for that period of time, so that's a,

that's a fun option that is available. Another question that I asked was things that I could

improve on, suggestions for improvements. Now I did recognise that you know I wouldn't

be able to incorporate all of these improvements when I ask the question, or perhaps some of

them I wouldn't even want to, you know this this survey was not designed to completely

guide or you know determine where I went with this channel, it was more just to get some

ideas, and so I really appreciate your input, but some of these obviously either I just

can't do or I won't be doing. I had a few people suggesting getting lighting and that's

just not going to happen any time in the foreseeable future, partly because it's a cost that you

know I just can't justify as far as my YouTube channel is concerned, and also softbox lights

are very big and my apartments very small, and ring lights show up a lot of glare in

glasses so you know not neither of those options really work for me. And a few people asking

if I could change the angle that I do you know face down videos at cards, and that's

another thing that I really don't I don't know that I can come up with a better solution

than I have at the moment without investing quite a bit in a fancy, a fancy overhead tripod.

So as far as equipment, I kind of do the best with what I have, and I'm pretty sure the

people who were recommending those things are aware of that, so thank you for the input,

just kind of an FYI, I don't think those things will be changing anytime soon. A lot of you

suggesting live videos, which is something I'm considering, I'm having a bit of a think

about how I can implement that for myself. I had someone quite upset that I had moved

on the Glastonbury Tarot. There's not much I can do about that, just didn't work for

me. And then I had a kind of a final box for you to write what you wanted as well as putting

your details in for the giveaway, and a lot of those comments were really nice, so thank

you, that was it was really quite touching reading through all of those comments. I had

a number of you saying that you very often don't see the videos that I upload, like you

won't get notified, or they won't come up in your subscription box or whatever, and

so you'll discover that I made a video several months after the fact. There is the option

to next to the subscribe button, you can turn on the little bell, so if you click that as

well as being subscribed then apparently - you won't always get notified - but you should

get notified, especially if you're interacting with my channel quite a bit, you will get

notified when I upload. So if you're super keen on watching my videos and you like to

kind of seeing them you know when they're uploaded that it that is a good to hit the

notification bell. I had a lot of you requesting that I introduce video readings into the shop

and I can appreciate it why you've asked because I really quite enjoy video readings from the

people that I order readings from. but I don't think that that will be happening anytime

soon. There's a few reasons for that, a really big one is the fact that my apartment small

and my partner does shift work, so it can be really quite difficult for me to film regularly.

That's why you'll see me wearing the same clothes for several videos, because I tend

to try and film roughly two weeks worth of videos in one go, so I just don't see how

that would really work you know kind of keeping up with videos and getting them out to you

in a timely manner. I'm not sure how that would work, just simply in my house and with

my partner and stuff. But if that ever changes, you guys will be the first to know because

I do I do recognise that that would be really cool, but for now it's just snail mail and

PDF email readings. I had a lot of you very kindly saying that you enjoy the fact that

my videos, the editing is quite tight and so there's not a whole lot of rambling. which

is, along with my reviews, something that I I kind of I don't take pride in, but I really

try to focus on, you know this video will take me at least twice as long to film as

it will end up being, and the reason I do that is because I just basically, I respect

your time, and I value your time. Like I know that you guys are busy and if I can edit a

video down to 15 minutes or 10 minutes as opposed to having a half-hour video that is

just full of 'ums' and 'ahs' and rambles I will do that because I know that your time

is very valuable. So that's why I edit so kind of cleanly, is because that's important

to me that I say as much as I can in the shortest amount of time for you. So I'm glad that you

guys enjoy that. And finally the last thing that people were talking about, I had a lot

of people saying that basically apologising for the fact that they are lurkers and don't

comment a whole lot, a lot of you are saying things like 'I've watched your videos for

ages I love your videos and it's great, sorry I haven't commented or I don't comment a whole

lot'. And basically I just wanted to say to you guys that thank you for being here, thank

you for watching. You know of course I would love it if you would comment and kind of I

mean it helps out the channel but also it just it's nice to know the people who are

watching you know and kind of start to have a bit of a chat with you, or even just know

that you're there that's really nice I do like that that's part of what makes YouTube

so fun is the comments and interacting with each other. But ultimately you know you don't

have to apologise, I think just the fact that you were here is wonderful and I understand

there are all sorts of reasons that people don't comment. I don't comment on every video

that I watch but you know, whether it's because you don't have a youtube account, or you know

you just don't have the time, or whatever it is, don't apologise if you don't have time

or the inclination or whatever to comment. It's just wonderful that you're here. Congratulations

to Tracy and I look forward to writing you up a little snail mail reading! Again thank

you to everyone who filled out the survey and until next time, so much love, bye!

Some Popular Surgeries Are Just Placebos, Here's Why They Still Exist - Duration: 4:12.

Usually when we think placebos, we think of sugar pills.

Fake drugs that, when taken, improve people's symptoms just because they believe they're

taking real pharmaceuticals.

But it turns out surgery can be a placebo as well…

When surgeries were first used their sole purpose was to save lives.

So, it was pretty obvious when operations worked as intended and when they didn't.

But today we've developed procedures that aren't designed to to save patients, but

to improve quality of life.

Opening the door to whole new kind of surgeries that might take advantage of the placebo effect.

The Placebo Effect we've talked about a lot, it's the idea that you feel better

because you got some medical attention, even if that isn't necessarily medical treatment.

The classic example is the administration of a sugar pill instead of a drug.

Even though there was no drug involved, patients will sometimes report that they feel better,

and can walk away "cured."

It may be hard to think of a surgery as just a placebo, because after all, when you go

under the knife, you're going UNDER a KNIFE.

A surgeon is actually doing something; they're slicing and dicing, but it turns out, because

surgery is so serious and there's all this prep many have the mindset that 'if it's

surgery it's meaningful.'

And that is exactly what makes surgery a great placebo.

In fact, studies on the placebo effect found that invasive surgery has a stronger effect

than non-invasive, injections are better than sugar pills.

Which may help explain why procedures like acupuncture will sometimes test as no more

effective than a placebo.

One researcher wrote that injections "seem to associate with higher placebo effects and

more 'magic'" They test this by performing both real and

sham surgeries on test subjects.

A sham surgery is procedure designed to make the patient think they're having the real

operation, but no real treatment is done.

There ARE real surgeries that are actually done every year, that test as no better than

a placebo -- One of these is arthroscopic surgery for osteoarthritis of the knee; 692,000

were performed in 2010.

Patients who undergo these treatments usually report feeling better afterwards, even if

they were only given the "sham" surgery.

And that's not the only one, a vertebroplasty where cracked vertebrae are filled in with

bone cement to alleviate back pain, and percutaneous myocardial laser revascularization were both

tested against placebos and found no more effective than shams!

The placebo illusion is even more convincing when patients can watch a live feed of their

operation and have a little souvenir scar when it's all over.

Before the pretend surgeries were shown to be placebos hundreds of thousands of people

in the United States had them done each year at a cost of billions of dollars.

So, now that we have evidence that they might not work, is it ethical to keep doing them?

Is it ethical to TRICK people into thinking they got effective surgery?!

It's a tough cookie either way you slice it.

The kicker: there are even ethical problems with TESTING surgeries against a placebo in

the first place.

It's hard to do a double-blind study on surgery where both the patient and surgeon

have no idea if they're administering the treatment or a placebo, because a surgeon

knows if they cut you up or not, right?

There are examples -- but the ethics are closely watched.

Drugs have to prove they're more effective than a placebo in order to be approved by

the FDA, but a 2014 systematic review of almost 3,000 surgical trials found only 53 were tested

against sham operations.

Again, because of ethics.

Sham surgeries CAN help determine if a procedure is actually doing something.

BUT, anytime you slice into someone you're introducing a lot more risk than there is

in a sugar pill, especially if anesthesia is involved.

On the other hand, if a surgery was widespread but later proved ineffective, then didn't

performing all those operations expose more people to risk than if a small trial had the

placebo option?

Placebo surgery is a tough question that the medical community is still grappling with

today, and regardless, it looks like you can chalk up one more big win for the placebo

effect.

One thing that's not a placebo, is your very own website.

Visit Domain dot com today to claim yours.

Fun fact: before arthroscopic knee surgery was shown to be as effective as a placebo

it was the most common orthopedic procedure in the US.

For more on crazy surgeries how about a full body transplant, what some people call a head

transplant.

What you have to do if you want the

marketing digital your business not only

give you good results but it a

full stop your profitability

company is easy to get in the hands of

a person who has already done in

numerous occasions and know how to do

in the video you today I'll give 5

reasons that if you ignore me you will see how

There is a before and after your

marketing digital

good

Hello my name is Juan Merodio and

Welcome to a new video if you

first time and want to learn all

tricks on digital marketing and how

objetivos comunes y no haya fugas 4

define un cuadro de mandos mensual de

resultados y a seguimiento no yo te

estás haciendo digital y no digital te

sea rentable porque al final estáis

haciendo grandes inversiones y no es lo

mismo tener un ratio de conversión del 1

por ciento que el 1.8 por ciento

entonces yo siempre me gusta trabajar

varios como he dicho alguna manera micro

posibles

Locating services in Barwon Heads for a home extension - Duration: 4:34.

Hey guys.

Ben here.

Geelong Cable Locations.

Hope you're all well.

Hope you're all having a great day.

We're out at Barwon Heads at the moment.

Exclusive Barwon Heads now.

It's pretty pricey out this way.

And yeah, you can see why.

Look at the view.

It's pretty nice out here.

So they're doing a home renovation.

The builder has called us out.

They're going to be extending the back and doing, putting a pool in.

They're doing a bit of works.

And they've asked us to come out and make sure there's no pipes

or cables in the area they're digging.

We have found a sewer already.

Right where they're working.

There's a stormwater that we can't locate.

But we're pretty sure it 's going to be where they're working as well.

We're just double checked some of the services out the front.

They're out of the way but we want just to confirm where they were.

Just to make sure that they're definitely out of the way.

Away from where they were going to be working.

it's a nice day out here.

And we're just getting through and getting it done.

Come have a look at this power cable that we found.

It's nothing special but it goes on a bit of an angle

a bit different to what the plan says what it does.

Come have a look at this.

Okay, so let me show you this power we found.

It goes from the pit here as you can see.

Then it comes up

around the corner here

up around this tree and then dives back in over here

around here

and then over to the meter.

So a bit different to what it says in the meter.

In the meter it says it goes from the meter straight out to that pit out there

which obviously it doesn't do.

It goes over I mean it does go to it

after going through a bit of an angle.

But anyway.

Okay so the stormwater pipes coming down from the roof.

We've found they're all going down in to this IO.

This is where they're coming from the inspection opening.

And then from here

they're coming from here the stormwater goes straight down

to the pit down there.

So there's a pit down the corner.

Have a look in that one there.

And from there, so we can't actually rod it.

I can't get the rod in this pit here.

But we have found that it does go we've lined it up, up there.

So it's only a Quality C. So Quality C locate because we can line up

the pit from there to here

but it is out of the way of where they're digging over there.

So it's away from where they're going. Which is good.

Okay, so we've got another downpipe here coming down.

But this one here doesn't actually go out the front

with the others.

Well, not that we can work out.

We reckon it comes down here.

We can see it coming on an angle there.

But we can't see it past there.

But there is a stormwater down there.

Stormwater main down there.

So I reckon it's going to be right where they're digging.

They're going to be digging in here and I reckon it's coming up

and going down that way through there.

It is only a stormwater pipe so it's going to be pretty simple for them to fix.

It's only a little plastic pipe.

So, they've said not to worry about trying to locate it.

We could have ran through here with the ground penetrating radar to try and locate it.

But it would have taken a bit more time.

So the builder said not to worry about it.

They'll just divert it either around or even go back out to the front that way.

So, yeah.

Sometimes it easier just to replace and fix the pipe

especially a little PVC pipe like that rather then trying to spend

yeah an hour or so with ground penetrating radar trying to locate where it is.

But, that's not always the case.

So every job is a case by case.

Okay, so here's another one to show you.

The gas meter.

So this is where the gas pipe comes in.

There's actually no gas meter here.

There's no gas connected yet.

But there is still a trace wire.

So you've got the trace wire as you can see on the gas pipe

and from here it goes out to the street

out that way there.

So just because there's no gas meter doesn't mean there's no gas service at the property.

There is still a gas pipe that runs down and as you see it's capped off.

So it is live.

So if they hit the gas.

If they hit the gas pipe then there would still be an issue.

So just because there's no gas meter does not mean there's no gas here.

And that's it guys.

We're all finished out here.

Shaun is just doing the paperwork now.

Packing up and we're good to go.

We're off to another job now.

I hope you've enjoyed this video.

If you do give me a thumbs up, let me know.

if you're not liking them and let me know if you've got any questions.

Anything I can be off assistance with.

Guys, you take care.

And I'll catch you on the next job.
