Paul Ryan Is Resigning – His Replacement Is….

BREAKING: A top Republican just spoke out to say that House Majority Leader Paul Ryan

will soon be resigning, and his replacement may surprise you.The Reno Gazette Journal

reported that Nevada's 2nd U.S. House District Rep. Mark Amodei, R-Carson City, said that

he has heard rumors that Ryan is about to resign.

"The rumor mill is that Paul Ryan is getting ready to resign in the next 30 to 60 days

and that Steve Scalise will be the new Speaker," Amodei said.

"Now that is interesting because nobody has talked to members (of the U.S. House)

on how they are going to vote (on new leadership).

Now, maybe they have talked to all of the members but me.

I don't know, so that is the rumor mill from last week."

Scalise, who is currently the House majority whip, was shot in June of last year while

practicing for a congressional baseball game.

He returned to Congress in September despite being in critical condition right after the

shooting.

This isn't the first time rumors have swirled that Ryan was about to resign, as back in

December, he said that he was doing some "soul searching" about his leadership role in

the U.S. House.

He later denied that he was considering resigning, however.

When asked why Ryan would choose to resign right now, Amodei said that maybe he has accomplished

what he set out to do as the U.S. House leader and may want to move on to other challenges.

"I don't know.

If I was just guessing, he wanted to do the tax-cut bill," Amodei said, referring to

the passage in Congress of major tax cuts late last year.

"You know, (former Speaker) John Boehner said the thing: 'Hey, I checked all of the

boxes I thought were important and I'm moving on to whatever else.'"

How To Make $500 A Day Online From Your Shopify Store (Beginner Friendly) - Duration: 25:53.

Alright guys welcome back to another video, and if you're new to my channel I teach people how to make money online and today

I'm going to share the quickest way probably the easiest way the less

Complicated way to make over 500 bucks a day on Shopify over 200 bucks 300 bucks

Whatever you kind of desire now if you're into Shopify

You know that a lot of things change, so I try to keep updated as possible, but over the last year

I've helped hundreds of people make a lot of money online like the sky 100

2,000 a month this guy's five hundred thousand dollars in just over half a year this guy nearly a thousand dollars a day and

commissions so the stuff I teach guys works and in today's video

I'm going to show you how you can get over five hundred dollars a day with Shopify

and

Here the easiest way to do it guys is really to keep things simple. Okay, so if we're gonna jump straight into this

I'm not going to mess around. I'm gonna show you exactly

what I mean

So we're going to describe in this document everything

It's in this document now when doing over five hundred dollars a day or a thousand or a couple of hundred

The it really comes down to the first stitch this steps

You need to take a lot of people will go out there, and they'll just throw these random products up

And they'll try and make money because the last guru told them to there's a system in place

That's how people getting successful and once you actually get successful, and you find a winning product

It's really really easy to upscale like a lot of people say drop shipping and stuffs easy

It is once you get past the hurdles of testing which can be sometimes a little bit difficult

But once you get past that testing stage you are absolutely in the running for a lot of money

Hundreds and thousands of dollars could be possible for you

And we know the stuff works we get results all the time so we know it works, but how do you do it?

How do you execute it? How do you make money online with Shopify and drop shipping now?

I'm gonna gather that you already know about La experience Shopify

You know how the whole concept works you find products on Aliexpress you advertise them on Facebook Instagram you sell those products

You're basically a middleman and you take a profit all right?

That's how drop shipping works in a nutshell and a quick couple of stick and breakdown

now the first thing you want to do when you start this as

Obviously want to get store up and running

We'll talk about that in a second

but the first thing you want to do is see what's selling this is really critical you want to go and do some research I

Have some other videos on my channel. I'll leave some below how to do product research and stuff never spy on the competition

What you want to do is you want to first off test at least two products a day?

This is really critical. I see too often that people will go and do one or two products. Okay, didn't work dropshipping doesn't work

That's not how this stuff works guys

You need to be testing at least two products per day when I started I was doing five plus a day

Okay, you need to be testing quite a few products

That's the aim of the game anyway be thinking ah but I've got to spend money of course. You've got to spend money

You know we're not making money for free here. You've got to spend money to make money

It's better than going and getting a twenty thousand dollar loan to start a building business or a plumbing business or renting a shop that

Cost you a thousand dollars a week you actually have to spend money to make money

So the first thing you want to do is test at least two products a day, okay?

Really really critical if you're not doing that then honestly don't even bother with this method

Next you want to be selling products that are actually selling this is another critical step because you're cutting out the homework

You know it's selling

Okay, so you don't don't go and copy the people that are selling it, but a model what they're doing okay?

There's model the product go and find it on

Aliexpress and test it the thing is guys when you're testing you're going to be testing quickly

You don't have time to go and make nice sales videos. You don't have time to do this

You don't have time to do that you want to get your research done

Really really quickly, so you don't want to overthink it

I see this all the time and it's the biggest roadblock overthinking. This is the biggest roadblock?

I see people overthinking when it's done in their stores, and you know I've got over 5,000 students of my training

And I've seen what?

What people do and what people don't do what successful? What's not successful?

I've helped them get successful so I know exactly what I'm talking about when it comes to this stuff. Do not overthink this guys

That's the biggest roadblock

I see I see people do the thing what you got to do is when you when you're first starting is find something

Test it then rent summer peak that's it and of course you're not gonna get sales on the first product

You're probably not gonna get them on second or the third

But you will get sales some people spend a hundred bucks to make us to make their first sale

Some people spend up to eight thousand

I have so I know someone who spent up to eight thousand, but now they're doing really really well in fact

I think it might be I know he's not one of the ones students on the last page

But he did actually post my group recently that he's doing it really really well now, okay, so

First off see what selling tests at least two products a day

research stores

Find what selling price that tests at then rinse and repeat if you want to know about research I have videos on my channel

the next step guys is

Pricing everyone price is wrong and I'll tell you why

Stop testing with low margins because the thing is if you sell something kind of five dollar profit and you

You need to sell five hundred to make

Two-and-a-half thousand dollars, that's five hundred products make two-and-a-half thousand dollars and a fifteen dollar profit it gets a little bit bitter

507 a half thousand dollars, and then a twenty five dollar profit

We're looking at about twelve thousand dollars, so you sell less

But you make more and the good thing about selling stuff at a higher profit margin is you have more room for?

Spending in your facebook ads think about it for a second when you sell a product at a five dollar profit

You only have five dollars to work with on Facebook ads if you want to start making profit straight away

It's really not viable at least you're doing upsells and complicated stuff like that

But you're not going to be doing that at this point you just want to test to see if these sales from those products

That's it so five dollar profit margin

You're gonna find it very very hard almost impossible to actually start making a lot of money with Shopify

I'm just telling you the truth, so you want to be doing at least 10

$15 $20 $25 profit to do less work

Make more money and give Facebook more to work with this is really critical and this is another roadblock. I see is people

Selling products for like five six seven dollars making $2 profit $3 profit $5 profit. It's not viable

It's not just us as sustainable when you're doing this stuff, okay?

You can do $5 products, but I'd recommend doing them upsells later on

Now um if you don't guys straight up if you don't if you don't sell for higher margins

You'll see a loss when testing you automatically stop testing. This is what I see people do all the time

They'll be like hey. I'm gonna get ripped off this stuff. They go find one or two products

They test them they're like cool $5 profit $10 profit

I'm not seeing any money coming in I'm not seeing any profit coming in this shit sucks drops to shipping to scam

I'm not gonna make any money of course you're not gonna make any money doing it that way

You need to structure things properly you need to have good profit margins

Otherwise this will honestly not work for you in the short term anyway

It might work in the long run, but in the short term when you're testing. It's not going to work

Okay, so see what's selling and pricing your products is really the two first steps, okay?

Now let's go down now your store is another crucial step. However once again. Don't ever think it

That's quite important because you've got to remember guys when you're testing you want to find a winner

As fast as possible too many people get caught up in the details

Keep, it simple keep it simple so the store is really basic

There's a few things you do want to do when you're sitting at your store first of all you want a nice

Simple clean theme you don't need to buy a premium theme when you start the venture is a good theme

That's what I started with when I first started doing Shopify. It's free. It's good. It's clean. It's simple. Okay

Venture is a very very good theme you want to have a nice clean theme

Next or a lot of people don't do as well as put some effort into descriptions if you're going to la express anger

And you're getting the Le Express descriptions and putting them on your website you think that that's good enough

You need to go back to the drawing board because it's not good enough, okay

Put a little bit of effort in you're here to sell products

You're not here to just copy and paste from Aliexpress and expect to make money alright. That's the cold hard truth

Now if you can add a video to your products page you can usually download them from the LA Express

vendor page or if they don't have one

Ask them. It just adds a little bit more trust authority to the product

And it's not very hard to go and get a video and throw it into the description take you four or five minutes done

now adds

Slight scarcity I'm not talking about over-the-top

Crazy timers like timers and stuff a great put on a timer, but don't like have a big massive timer

You know this is closing tomorrow this that the step twenty eighty percent off blah blah blah ads select

Scarcity like hey. We've sold 10,000 items blah blah. I know it's a bit of a white labor stuff like that

You know we are 50% off. We are ending the sale sue but don't have like 50% off

Five people on the site right now 10 people purchased

This don't add so much scarcity that puts people off because that is a thing

People were not stupid people will know that okay. This is bullshit come on

You've got way too much. Scarcity add slight scarcity to your store

Another important thing actually is a review app

Don't skip the pay for one will get the free trial get a review athletics sports reviews from Aliexpress

It's really simple you install it it exports the reviews from Aliexpress. It takes a few minutes to sit up and you're done

reviews add

Authority social proof and things like that this is a must-have especially when you're testing add

PayPal as a payment option critical

I think I want to store we have over 60 percent of people purchasing via PayPal PayPal is another payment method

There's a lot of people

Prefer to use over anything else so you want to make sure you have PayPal setup as well as credit card payments and stuff like

That and then set up and abandon email app

This is really all you need to know if your store nice simple apps for now and then

Work on it later on when you start to get a winner people don't understand that at this point of time

You're just trying to get a winner and that is that then the tweaking then the other stuff happens after that

Now a lot of people might be saying do I start off a branded store or a general store always?

Start with a general store because I've seen this many times people will start with a branded store

And they'll spend a week a month making it perfect

Uploading the perfect products, and then bam flops flops flops flops to make no money

They've wasted a month or two three weeks on this crap

And it hasn't worked right a general store is easy you get it going you put in the nice clean theme

You just start uploading products, and you don't have any like

You don't need to go crazy with that stuff

You just sell products and later on if you want to you can do a branded store or even just keep this winning product in

Your general store if it's selling

Don't over complicate things. That's going to be the biggest mistake in your Shopify adventures

So make sure you have an abandoned mail app as well, and we'll talk about

Tweaking that later on now Facebook Ads is probably the next thing I mean all of this stuff up

Here is basic the Facebook Ads can tend to be a little bit overwhelming for a lot of people

But don't let it be overwhelming now

This is a bit of a disclaimer everything changes quite often so this might not be the same Facebook ad structure

I've taught in the past it might not be the same I'm going to teach in the future

This is what's working for me right now, and this is what I've found working for at least 70% of my students, okay?

Start with website conversion edge straightaway on either Add to Cart or purchase on

$10 a day and run them for three to four days max if no sales then move on

If you get sales keep it going now at this point you're probably not gonna be profitable. That's okay

You might spend 40 bucks and get one sale. That's not a bad thing you might spend

50 bucks and get one sale you might spend

50 bucks to get to sales

You might not be in the profit

It doesn't matter as long as you're breaking kind of even or a little bit of a loss, but you're getting sales

You know okay? I've got a winner, but the problem is people get scared. They be like Hulk shit, man

I've made three sales spent 200 bucks. I'm not on the profit damn. What do I do you keep going?

Do you know you know some of the biggest companies in the world haven't made a proper fight hasn't even made a profit yet

themselves because they went and bought a Berlocq for 16 million dollars

I think they're finally starting to make profit now Dollar Shave Club. Just sold for a billion dollars, and they've never turned a profit

You don't need to expect profit straight away

Okay, so a winning product doesn't have to be profitable

This is a big mistake that people think it has to be profitable it will become profitable later on but at this stage

You're getting sales awesome. You can move on to the next step, which we'll talk about in a second now another thing

I want to talk about is one ad and one interest group per product

Too many people go they find one product in a bit and no tested products now do like 50 different ads with 50 different

Interests straight away, that's not really what you should be doing straight away what I recommend you

Do is one add to one interest group this could be one broad interest or a bunch of interest stacked per product?

All right, and then and then move and then if doesn't work move on now a lot of gurus will say all about you know

If it's not working. It's the audience and the product is wrong

Yes, that can be the case sometimes, but when you're testing who gives a shit

You're trying to get sales as fast as possible so if it's not working

just move it to the side and

start testing more products and then later on what you're stacking some money coming in then maybe bring that product back in later on and

See if it'll work again

But the whole point in testing and trying to get profit as fast as you can

It's to test products as quick as you can and try and get some sales then try and get into the profit if you fluff

Around messing around with ad groups and all this sort of stuff you're going to start getting emotionally attached to the product

And it's just going to be a really really bad situation for you

If it doesn't work out and you've wasted all of that time trying to find the right

Audience for the right product now of course you should do a little bit of research

When you're testing and you should have the you know obviously try and get the right interest group in the right product

But don't spend too much time on it

Don't ever think it and when people said you all you need you know it's not working

You need to have the right interest to the right product and it'll work sometimes products

Just won't work, so if you get stuck in that phase of trying to make it work, and it's just not going to work

You're gonna waste time

So what I'm trying to say guys is just do one add one interest group per product when you're starting then later on

Start messing around with other things, and we'll talk about that in a second

Don't get too technical in testing that kind of falls back into what I was talking about before keep it stupid simple now

Also something that I you know this kind of goes against a lot of things that I save at times are changing don't bother with

Retaliatory targeting at this point because you're not going to have a massive retargeting list anyway

And what happens is if you set up retargeting while you're testing your retargeted mic your sale, which is good

but it gives you conflicting information because

When you're testing you just want nice you want the cold traffic to convert when you read target that becomes warm traffic and you're like

Okay, cool

I got a sale

and

You might have just got lucky with that

Retargeting ad so you want to make sure that when you're testing you're not doing any

Retargeting because you want the product to convert by itself without any assistance

That's really all I have to say about that because it's quite self-explanatory

You want it to sell without any assistance?

Nick that's that this is big

Don't get emotionally attached to shit. I get people that will be like hey yo, I got two sales

And then I had a week of no sales

Cut it

Cut it you'll know if you have a winner guys

You will know if you have a winner because you'll get consistent sales nearly every single day sometimes. You'll have days that are slower

You're getting I think but you'll usually have consistent sales and when you scale it'll just keep being consistent

That's when you have a winner that is the that's the biggest?

Indicator that you have a winner the sales are coming in and it's consistent over and over and over again

And you usually don't have any problems

So now we're going to move on to what to do afterwards

But it's a little bit of a recap guys. See what's selling okay?

It cuts out a lot of homework price your products properly, or you're just going to be wasting time losing money

And you probably going to give up

Have a nice clean store add a little bit of scarcity do some good descriptions get a review app add PayPal and abandon email

application

And then Facebook Ads by the laughs website conversions Add to Cart purchase

I usually start an Add to Cart guys just because that's what I like to do and it works fine for me

I don't really go to purchase much nowadays unless I'm

May add it's not working like if you're sitting on website conversion in your ads

Getting and your an Add to Cart and you're getting sales, and you're making money

There's actually no point in changing because you could screw everything up

Okay, now when you have a winner. This is where things are quite important. What do you do?

First step guys number one thing to do add an upsell

This is the quickest way to instantly boost your profits without doing hardly any work

Go and add an upsell you're pretty much guaranteed to at least make some sort of

extra profit more conversions even if even if you make like an extra five dollars on every hundred dollars make

You pretty much guaranteed to make extra money

First step once you have a winner as add up cells the fastest way to instantly boost your profits

Okay

no doubt about it next tweak your abandon emails so with most apps you can have a

Sequence of three emails to send up so you know you when you first test you probably not gonna do it very nice thing gonna

Set them up and put a few words and tweak them a little bit so be like hey you forgot this item in your car

Hey Here's a discount hey discounts ending soon start to tweak your abandoned emails because upsells and abandoned emails are the best profit

maximizers you can get hands-down

upsells instant profit maximizers

Tweak up abandoned emails

You can you can get up to thirty forty percent more money by just having a band a proper abandoned email setup

Even if you get five percent, that's five percent more profit

Okay, so those are your first two instant profit maximizers that you should be doing

Next you want to jump into your ad account once you have a winner

And depending if you put it on a branded store by now or not I would recommend us leaving efforts winning

Start to duplicate your ads and tweak ad copy images videos

Things are there. Okay? This is the point where you actually start to tweak your Facebook ads you don't try and tweak it before

Once you have a winner, then you start to tweak your Facebook ads and you start to go out there

And you start to do different videos images an ad copy okay, this is at that point

Like I said once you find that winner guys thinks that's become really really easy because it's a matter of

Maximizing your profits. It's a matter of duplicating tweaking testing and in a matter of just finding

What works and upscaling it and keep upscaling it, then once you're at a level where you're making a bit of money

You can go back and it's a rinse and repeat process on the other products on the new products that you want to test okay?

now

This is also when you want to start sitting up retargeting to recover some sales. This is once again an instant profit Maximizer

You'll usually make a lot of money on retargeting and by this point you should have a pretty

decent sized audience maybe a hundred two hundred three hundred a thousand add two caps or something you should have a pretty decent audience by

Now and you should be out be able to recover quite a lot of sales once again

It's going to start to put you in their profit margin you see what I'm doing here

Like I'm saying if you find a winner and you're not making any profit

And you're not making any profit once you get to this point then you'll start making some profit when you start bring in these profit

Maximizers, okay, there's a video to start to make profit, and then it's just going to snowball from this point on

Then you want to start to scale to increase the ad budgets once you have your winning ads just start to increase the budgets and

then

You'll know if you have a winner a real solid winner because no matter how much you increase like I'm not saying increase from ten

dollars to a thousand, but if you know if you increase twenty thirty percent per day you shouldn't have much Facebook ad

Fluctuation it should still get consistent sales some days you might have a down day, and then next day you have an up day

But it should stay pretty

Consistent across the board when you start to change your pricing if it doesn't and it dies off it means that maybe your product you

Just got lucky or just leave it for a few days because it will usually come back

But the strongest indicator that you've got a winner is the fact that you can increase your budgets on that particular winning ad without much

trouble

alright

Then move into testing new audiences at this point don't do it when you're trying to test do it when you have a winner

Okay, so the moral of the story guys. I think that's where we're at now the moral of the story is really simple

We'll do a bit of a diagram here before you cut this video short

It's really simple you want to find what's winning?

This is a product you want to test it with a facebook ad you want to find that winner. This is a product here

Facebook

You want to find that winner as?

Fast as you can and then you simply want to rinse and repeat that process over and over again

The main goal is to find the winner first

Find the winner first this isn't an easy game. This is it this stuff

Isn't easy everyone says it's always easy blah blah the easiest way to get to 500 dollars per day

Is to focus on the testing focus on the pricing then focus on the tweaking the up-sales?

Their band and email email tweaks later on once you have that winner all right guys

So I hope this video wasn't too long for you. I mean and there's nothing really actionable on this video here

I'm just going through some ticks but

I feel that people need to realize

There's a little bit to the stuff, and if you don't get the right training and the right resources you're not going to succeed

Top 10 Secrets Only The President Knows - Duration: 7:31.

Welcome back to Most Amazing Top 10 - my name is Danny Burke and I have a few secrets that

you guys don't know.

Did you know that a small part of my body is actually not real?

You see it every time you watch one of these videos.

Ill let you know what it as at the end of the video but for now, were talking about

secrets that the only the US president knows - there are certain things that the president

gets told about when they are elected that the rest of us will simply never know.

What kind of secrets?

Well youre about to find out with the Top 10 Secrets Only The President Knows.

Starting off at number 10 now we have The Nukes.

This one should come as no surprise.

The US President is always accompanied by a military aid who is holding whats known

as the Nuclear Football - a black briefcase that contain the plans necessary for the President

to launch a nuclear attack.

Its needed for when the President is visiting a place with no US control room such as a

foreign country.

The plans involve details of nuclear stockpiles, damage estimates and how to launch a strike

on anywhere in the world within 30 minutes.

At number 9 now we have The Personal Lives of World Leaders.

In the past, it was common knowledge that the FBI would deliver Presidents reports on

the personal lives of other politicians or prominent Americans.

They would contains really personal information - it seems that they don't do that anymore

but the CIA and NSA still regularly provide the White House with information on foreign

leaders, politicians or business people.

These contain everything from drug habits, financial problems, criminal links, family

squabbles and even their sexual preferences.

Is that all just part of a full report or a little too much information?

At number 8 now we have Conspiracy Theories.

There have been a lot of conspiracy theories about the US over the years.

There are two big examples I can think of.

Roswell - where conspiracy theorists think that the US has covered up a UFO crash in

New Mexico in 1947 … and the JFK assassination where some people believe that foreign powers

or even the US itself killed President Kennedy.

Whether or not conspiracy theories like this are true, any president will have access to

the absolute truth.

When the JFK files were declassified in 2017, President Trump knew the contents of them

ahead of the public release - and urged for their release to help put the conspiracy theories

to bed.

But thats not how conspiracy theories work is it ...

Moving on to number 7 we have Spy Satellites.

Spy Satellites wouldnt be much good if everyone knew where they were.

The President receives briefings on US Spy Satellites from the National Reconnaissance

Office - an intelligence agency thats so secretive nobody even knew it existed until 1992, 32

years after its creation.

The President is told not only where the spy satellites and aircraft are but also confidential

information on their design.

Experts estimated there could be up to 12 different types of stealth spy satellites

and aircraft that the US has never publicly acknowledged …

Coming in at number 6 we have Counter Terrorism Reports.

In an effort to stay one step ahead of terrorism, the US government must keep the information

they have to as few people as possible - one of them is the President.

The president receives regular briefings on domestic terror threats and potential suspects.

One famous example came after 9/11 when George Bush met every morning with the FBI Director

to review what they called a -threat matrix-.

Barack Obama set aside Tuesday afternoons to review unfolding investigations in what

the White House referred to as -Terror Tuesday- … pretty dark joke there.

At number 5 now we have The Secret Law.

This is the term used to described directives the President signs that the rest of the world

will never know about.

One famous example came in 2015 when Barack Obama released a hostable Policy Labelled

as Directive Number 30.

That was strange because the last Directive he had signed was labelled as number 28 … so

where was 28?

Well, that was considered a secret law.

Presidents have done this before, sign off on a directive that the public will never

know about - thats usually because they involve serious issued such as nuclear weapons, relationships

with other countries or powers the President will have in the middle of a crisis.

Next up at number 4 we have Secret Agents.

If everyone knew who and where US Secret Agents, it would kind of defeat their purpose.

The president can request to know the details of secret agents whether they be working on

American soil or foreign countries, in drug enforcement or counter terrorism.

This also included non Americans around the world who are being paid by the US for their

services or corporation.

I used to be one of them but then I thought Id be a YouTube host - change it up a bit.

Coming in at number 3 we have Directive 58.

To put it quite simply - Directive 58 is the plan for how the US Presidency will survive

the end of the world.

It was devised in the wake of the cold war when the US began to contemplate what life

would be like if the country was hit by a nuclear strike.

Directive 58 contains the plans for how the government would operate in that crisis.

For example, if Washington D.C was hit, government members would be relocated to a special facility

on top of Mount Weather in Virginia.

Also, it dictates what resources the government would need to rebuild itself after nuclear

war.

Perhaps most importantly, it contains the plans for what to do if the President themself

was killed in a nuclear attack.

Next up at number 2 we have Beyond Top Secret.

Theres secret, top secret and then beyond top secret.

These are US operations that only a handful of people on the planet will ever know about

- a new US President is brought into that group after being sworn in.

Sometimes, the world learns about these so called -Special Access Programs- a while after

they take place.

One example is when Obama was told of the join US - Israeli efforts to disable Irans

nuclear program through cyber attacks.

Sometimes these operations arent even conducted on perceived enemies of the US, the Edward

Snowden leaks revealed that US intelligence regularly listened to telephone calls of foreign

officials such as German leader Angela Merkel - this is all information the President would

have access to.

And finally at number 1 we have The Kill List.

This is a fairly new one.

The President has the ability to sign off on strikes from drones run by the CIA and

the Pentagon.

Political assassinations are not OK but Barack and Obama and George Bush used this power

to kill suspected terrorists in countries such as Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen, Iraq and

Afghanistan.

An added part of this is that the President can actually watch these drone strikes live.

Apparently this was something George Bush did regularly during morning intelligence

briefings.

Would you do that if you were President?

Or is that a little bit too much to stomach before lunch?

Very interesting stuff - hopefully that was enough details for you, its difficult to get

a lot of details on things as secretive as this.

If anyone from the FBI, CIA or White House is watching this, make sure you leave a comment

of something I missed out and Ill put it in a part 2.

That would actually freak me out if that happened.

Thanks for watching as always guys, Im Danny Burke and Ill see you all in the next video.

Paul Ryan Is Resigning – His Replacement Is… - Duration: 13:34.

What do you think about this?

Let us know your thoughts

in the comments section.

HERE'S WHAT YOU NEED TO LOOK LIKE - Duration: 2:04.

There's something I've realized : it is that we are never good enough.

Well; not exactly : people make us BELIEVE we are not good enough.

It seems like no matter what you do, it is never going to be enough.

And you, what do you do in life ?

I'm a student !

Oh, nice ! And, do you work on the side or... ?

Hm no you know my studies take me a lot of time already and I also have some personal projects.. !

Pennsylvania Republicans Want To Impeach Anti-Gerrymandering Judges - Duration: 1:36.

Republican lawmakers in Pennsylvania are furious the state Supreme Court ruled that their districts

were gerrymandered beyond recognition, so these Republicans are trying to impeach the

judge that said, "No, you can't do that.

Gerrymandering, this is way off the charts."

This is crazy.

This is like Legislation 101.

It's like Democracy 101.

You don't impeach a judge because he rules in a way that doesn't favor your ideology.

These nincompoops ... what's his name Dush?

Yeah, Rep. Chris Dush.

What an appropriate name.

So Rep. Chris Dush, if you're listening, you are truly an idiot.

And maybe you wanna go back and take a look at your civics class.

Quick take.

We got about a minute.

What's your take?

The court had ruled that these districts are so bad ... Democrats actually got the majority

of votes the last election, yet Republicans won the majority of the seats because they

had districts that would sweep out ... and I forget the exact language they used, but

it was like a hook that would come around.

And that's how they made their districts so the judges say, "Look, this is very obvious,

and you guys even know it.

This is so super illegal."

So Chris Dush comes out and says, "I'm gonna impeach you and I've got 12 Republicans who

are joining me in this.

Okay, Chris Dush, let me say it.

I can't tell you enough to him.

You are a freaking idiot.

You're an embarrassment to your state.

The fact that you're ... I got it, you're Republican, you're trying to protect Republicans,

but you are a true idiot.

You're an embarrassment, not to just your state, but to anybody who understands that

we have a democracy based on the balance of powers here.

If the Drug Doesn't Work, You Don't Pay: The Reality of Outcomes-Based Contracting - Duration: 3:29.

What should the price of a medication be?

If your answer is "what the market will bear" then congratulations, you are qualified to

be CEO of a pharmaceutical company.

But it turns out that "what the market will bear" gets really expensive, particularly

when the people who need the medications are not, directly at least, the ones paying for

them.

The cost of drugs is a problem, with increases in prices drastically outpacing inflation.

And we have heard some talk from politicians on both sides of the aisle that something

needs to be done.

But don't worry folks.

Big Pharma has the solution.

It's called outcomes-based contracting.

The basic idea – pay for this drug, and if it doesn't work, you get your money back.

If you think this is a good deal, I have a bridge to sell you.

But don't take my word for it.

This study, appearing in the Annals of Internal Medicine, looks at the PCSK-9 inhibitor evolocumab.

This is a novel lipid-lowering agent that comes in at a whopping $14,500 per year – the

price the market will bear.

Clinical trials show that this drug does save lives, at a cost of around $324,000 per quality-adjusted

life year saved.

Most health economists "value" a life-year at $100,000, so one could argue this drug

costs more than 3-fold what it is worth.

But Amgen, the maker of evolocumab, has a deal for you.

If you have a heart attack or stroke within 5-years of starting the drug, you get your

money back.

Sound good?

It's not.

The Annals paper quantifies what you should feel in your gut.

Strokes and heart attacks are rare – only about 3% per year in the high-risk group that

would be receiving evolocumab.

That means that 97% of people are paying full price.

This drug, which is 3 times more expensive than it should be based on a value-model,

is now "price-reduced" to 97% of its original value.

According to the Annals study, even if Amgen offered to pay for all the inpatient costs

of the stroke or MI AND refund the money spent on the drug, the cost per life-year saved

would drop from $324,000 per year to $314,000 per year.

The main problem is their definition of the drug working for you.

They are assuming that, if you don't have a Stroke or MI, the drug worked.

This is a major fallacy.

Most people don't have a stroke or MI with or without this drug.

You know, what?

The Simpsons said it best: Don't buy this rock.

What baffles me here, is why would a payer ever accept this?

It's so obviously a bad deal.

Is it just a PR stunt?

Some researchers believe that outcomes-based contracting is not actually designed to ever

be implemented.

Rather, they are designed to change the law.

See, the pharmaceutical companies argue that outcomes-based contracting would be so great,

but they just can't do it because the law gets in the way.

What laws?

Well, the one forbidding them from marketing for off-label usages.

And the Medicaid best price rule.

And the anti-kickback statute.

If that's the game it's pretty clever.

Argue you need these consumer protections rolled back to offer a novel pricing model,

then no one takes you up on your novel pricing model (because it's useless) and enjoy your

new regulation-free world.

Venezuela's Oil, Bankruptcy and Cryptocurrency - VisualPolitik EN - Duration: 15:26.

Venezuela is undergoing some of its worst moments.

This disaster is so huge, that what once was one of the largest and most powerful oil companies

in the world, PDVSA, is now practically bankrupt and has more problems, including extracting

oil.

One second, the oil company with the largest reserves in the world has problems extracting

it?

Yes, you heard that right, and we'll tell you all about it in this video…

Folks, I think we all know it: Venezuela is undergoing a true catastrophe, and not only

an economic one.

It is, above all, humanitarian.

Such a huge disaster that in recent years it has caused between 3 and 4 million Venezuelans

to flee the country.

That is, more than 1 in 10 inhabitants.

And the truth is… we're not surprised.

See, according to the latest statistics, 87% of the population, 87%, almost 9 out of every

10 Venezuelans, are poor...

And, on top of that, most of Venezuela's population, 60%, isn't only poor, they live

in extreme poverty.

But... not only that...

Venezuela is burning down…

According to data from the Venezuelan Social Conflict Observatory, in 2017 almost 10,000

protests were registered throughout the country, more than 27 a day.

And what's even worse:

According to information from the former Attorney General, Luisa Ortega, since 2015 the police,

the National Guard, the Army and the different intelligence services, have killed more than

8,000 people.

Of course, most of them were regime opposers.

Crisis, hunger, violence, repression... everything indicates that Venezuela will soon undergo

a refugee crisis of colossal dimensions.

Because dear viewers, let's be honest, things aren't looking good at all.

See, for years, the "Bolivarian revolution" of Chavez, Maduro and company had a great

ally, and we're not talking about Cuba, or Russia or any other country, but about

oil... the black gold that financed the "revolution".

For a long time, the huge income this raw material brought financed all of the regime's

policies, and they didn't care at all about the consequences.

That is to say, factories were closing?

Foreign investment was fleeing the country?

It didn't matter because, folks, they had oil dollars.

However... all of that is about to end.

Yes, Venezuela has a lot of oil.

But... one thing is having oil and another quite different thing is being able to exploit

it.

Did you know that PDVSA , the national oil company, is practically about to collapse?

Listen up.

(THE FALL OF PDVSA

Petroleum of Venezuela, PDVSA , was created by government decree in 1976, to integrate

all the oil assets the State had nationalized...

This company soon became a world-class colossus.

Do you know why?

Well, among other things because this company has the largest reserves on the planet...

and, we mean large:

there are more than 300 billion barrels of oil certified, more than the reserves of Saudi

Arabia, the Emirates, Russia or any other oil power.

Yes, it's true, we've said it here, Venezuelan oil doesn't have the highest quality, but...

it doesn't matter.

We're talking about a huge amount of resources, almost 20% of all known world reserves.

Well, the fact is that this company, PDVSA , peaked in production in 1998, a year before

Hugo Chávez came to power, at which time PDVSA was extracting 3 and a half million

barrels per day.

Since then, things have changed a lot.

By the year of Hugo Chávez'sdeath in 2013, production had decreased by 1 million barrels

per day…

One moment, one million less?

Could it be that Hugo Chávez's Bolivarian government didn't like oil?

Could it be part of a twisted plan to diversify the Venezuelan economy?

Well... no.

Quite the opposite.

Hugo Chávez wanted to increase production to 5 million barrels.

The problem was that, they simply weren't able to do it.

But if you think that the commander's results were bad, you haven't seen anything yet…

Because since Nicolás Maduro came to power, production has sunk to 1.8 million barrels.

That means that, while countries like the United States have doubled their production,

Venezuela produces half as much oil as when the revolution began.

Very successful.

And if you think that's the worst of it, think again.

No, he future looks a lot worse.

Now, at this point, you may be wondering, what the hell is going on with PDVSA ?

(THE KEYS OF A DISASTER FORETOLD)

The PDVSA's history, dear viewers, has been the story of a disaster foretold.

The best example is that of the Paraguaná refining complex, which consists of 3 crude

oil refineries and is one of the 3 largest complexes of its kind on the entire planet.

For years, it was Venezuela's industrial pride, the Crown jewel.

However, today... it barely operates at 15% capacity... and all kinds of accidents tend

to happen, why?

("There's no maintenance.

They sucked everything they could from PDVSA without investing, there's nothing left

to squeeze" Pablo Céspedes, plant operator.)

And this isn't some extraordinary case.

At the end of October, also in the Paraguaná refining complex, the Amuay refinery spilled

over 200,000 gallons of gasoline into the bay;

a few days later, another refinery in the complex, the Cardon refinery suffered a fire

that the firemen could barely contain, because they didn't even have foam to fight the

flames.

And so on and so on.

Because the truth is that most of the oil company's facilities are in terrible condition.

But...

How do you think they reached this point?

Well, you see, the Chavez government always saw PDVSA as a kind of dairy cow from which

they could get all the resources they needed for their "Bolivarian revolution"...

the problem is that the oil industry requires lots of investments, investments that the

Venezuelan government simply didn't want to make.

Even with the fact that it indebted PDVSA to the brim.

By the way, do you know how indebted this company is today?

Listen to this… we're not talking about 1 or 5, but 90 billion dollars.

A fortune so big that Venezuela could have even bought multinationals like Goldman Sachs,

Nike or Siemens.

Now that's a lot of debt!

But... do you think that's all?

Not even close.

They also used the company to plug-in, place and hire thousands and thousands of supporters,

friends and family members... from which PDVSA lost even more resources.

And if that weren't enough, the Chavez regime also placed unskilled and inexperienced personnel

in management positions, while dismissing and driving away thousands and thousands of

experienced employees because of their political beliefs.

Yes, this is how PDVSA has run out of money and out of human resources..

Now we can understand why oil production is dropping.

Of course, the consequences of all this are... terrible for the country.

(THE CONSEQUENCES)

Oil is essential for the Venezuelan economy...

especially because there's no other industry left standing.

Their dependence is so great that oil generates 95% of all foreign currency profits, in dollars,

for example.

And these currencies, my friends, are what Venezuela needs to be able to import food,

medicine, gasoline – yes, today Venezuela has to import gasoline – or anything else.

But of course... as oil production keeps plummeting… the country has to import fewer things.

And you know what?

Since Venezuela is literally producing nothing and has to import everything, the dwindling

oil money is no longer enough to pay all the bills.

But... of course, as you all know, when you spend more money than you make… money goes

away… and that's precisely what's happening to Venezuela, which according to some calculations,

barely has 10 billion dollars in foreign reserves, which is their lowest number in 40 years..

This means… that when the money is gone, they won't be able to import anything else

than what they can buy with what they make from the oil… which is decreasing.

Do you see the problem?

Until now, as we saw here on VISUALPOLITIK, Nicolás Maduro's government has tried to

buy time by resorting to international markets to issue debt... at scandalous rates, sometimes

as high as 40%.

Obviously, issuing debts with implicit rates, interests of 40% can only mean future ruin.

And in any case, that is actually no longer a possibility.

In fact, both the Venezuelan government and PDVSA are incurring defaults, that is, they

aren't paying their debts.

("S&P downgrades seven sovereign Venezuelan bonds to the default level" Bank and Business)

Another route they've attempted, was that of the Chinese rescue... and the Chinese answered

and placed more than 23 billion dollars in loans on the table...

But... everything has a limit, and they are no longer willing to continue giving more

money for nothing.

Check this out.

( "The Chinese oil company Sinopec sues PDVSA for unpaid debts" OilPrice.)

The situation, my friends, is so desperate that the Cuban government has decided to seize

the 49% that PDVSA held in a Cuban refinery as compensation for unpaid debts.

You heard that right,

Not even Cuba trusts the Maduro regime!

And, it was all of this that led to the latest Chavista event: the Petro.

THE VENEZUELAN CRYPTOCURRENCY

As we've seen, with every day that passes the Venezuelan government has less access

to foreign currency... which is obviously a huge problem... because without foreign

currency they can't import.

But, based on this problem, an idea came up:

Cryptocurrency is in fashion, so why not launch their own cryptocurrency?: The Petro.

Of course... the petro is a

very particular currency... among other things, because it's controlled by Maduro's government.

Under these conditions, I ask you a question,

Would you be willing to invest a single euro, a single dollar in this new cryptocurrency?

Or in other words, would you put your money in the hands of the Venezuelan government?

I know I wouldn't…

not even a penny.

And precisely because no one in their right mind would do such a thing, the Venezuelan

government has had to back this particular cryptocurrency with oil.

That is, each Petro will be guaranteed by a barrel of oil from the Venezuelan oil reserves,

reserves that, of course, are underground.

In this way, the petro's value is apparently linked to the value of this raw material.

Does that sound better?… well… just a moment, because we cannot forget a detail,

a very, very important detail:

the oil reserves, my friends, are also under the control of the government.

And I wonder, do you really think that this government is going to exploit those reserves?

And even if they did, do you think they'd really back the petro?

And what about the support rate?

Wouldn't the resources generated be spent?

Wouldn't they impose restrictions or regulations that would benefit them?

And above all, why the hell take the risk of investing in petros?

By the way, an important point, the petro isn't convertible.

That is to say, even though it is supposedly backed by oil barrels, you can never exchange

it for the barrel or for any title that proves a right over those barrels.

("The petro is a cryptocurrency that isn't crypto, that is backed by reserves that aren't

reserves.

That can only be monetized with a production that is collapsing and issued by a government

that is in default and has no dollars."

Francisco Monaldi, professor at the Rice University's Baker Institute in Houston)

Folks, the petro doesn't seem to be anything more than a last ditch attempt to gain time

and try to obtain the greatest possible number of dollars by taking advantage of the popularity

of cryptocurrencies, and perhaps of capital laundering… because, who would put the dollars

on the table?

The fact is that if this crypto doesn't work… and that looks like the most plausible

scenario…

Maduro's regime will only have three options:

first, accept some kind of internal revolt and leave power one way or another, which

seems very difficult;

second, use an even tougher hand and condemn Venezuela to an even greater humanitarian

disaster;

or third, try to get the Chinese and Russians to buy the country's national resources

in mass and by all means, such as refineries, oil and many other raw materials.

That is to say, become a kind of colony by selling at a loss each and every one of the

Crown jewels so that the regime's elite can continue to enjoy their standard of living.

Dear viewers, Nicolás Maduro and company are still in power, and it hardly seems like

Venezuela will have a better future.

But now... it's your turn…

Would you be willing to exchange your money for petros?

2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe: First Look — Cars.com - Duration: 4:31.

for years now German brands have been playing kind of fast and loose with the

idea of what is actually a coupe and my mind coops are two door vehicles but a

lot of the German brands have said now coupes can also be forward to our

vehicles like this one this is the new 2019 Mercedes AMG GT

four-door now let's get one thing straight right off the bat it is not a

longer larger version of the GT two-door it actually sits on a completely

different platform underneath this actually shares more in common with the

e63 wagon and now you're saying yourself now wait a minute if this thing really

is more 63 wagon than GT two-door where do they get off calling it a coupe well

in my mind there's a couple of qualifications you have to have in order

to really be called a coupe and does this thing have them well let me take

you through it the first qualification for being called a coupe in my mind is

that it really has to look the part this thing really does from the super low

back end with the slim taillights and the hatchback to the frameless windows

on the doors to the low front end with the headlights and the grille that look

a lot like the AMG GT two-door I think that this is probably one of the closest

executions to an actual four-door coupe that I've yet seen second qualification

for being a proper sport coupe is it has to have the power this one most

certainly does there are three power trains coming for the AMG GT four-door

first as a 3 litre twin turbo inline 6 made it up to a mild hybrid system and

the second powertrain is a 4 litre twin-turbo v8 in two different forms now

the 63 and the 63s are the more performance models the 63s that we see

here is 630 horsepower and goes 0 to 60 in what mercedes says is about 3 seconds

conservatively it may actually be a little bit less than that they're saying

all that power gets to the ground through a standard all-wheel drive

system but it's a rear biased all-wheel drive system and in the 63s like this

one you can actually shunt a hundred percent of that power to the rear wheels

in a kind of drift mode which is great for scaring the in-laws on the way to

dinner the third element of a proper sports

coupe is that it has to look the part inside as well and this one again I

think fits the bill now most sports coupes the two doors anyway don't have

much in the way of a backseat for people if they have one at all the 4-door coupe

do and this one actually has a pretty good back seat there's plenty of legroom

there's plenty Headroom as well and you may have some

smaller side windows because of the low roof but this really isn't the penalty

box at all even the fact that it has a moon roof doesn't impact that much the

rear headroom now you can only get these in a four seat model in the US you can

get a five seater internationally but if you want a five seat four-door coupe in

the United States Mercedes but instead I'd like to show you the CLS up front it

looks much more like an AMG GT two-door than the e-class on which it's based now

the upper part of the - yeah there is some eClass influence there but look at

the center console this is directly influenced by the two-door coupe model

it's wide it's got a very similar style to it the shifter is the same as well

and this one now features the new trackpad instead of the rotary knob

Mercedes did away with the rotary knob for its multimedia system and we're not

entirely sure we like that yet but we'll let you know as soon as we get to

actually drive one and test them you've also got reconfigurable buttons here and

there the screens that you see on the center console light up when you start

the car and the steering wheel itself has two light-up screens as well on the

right it's always going to be your drive mode on the left

it's a reconfigurable hotkey so maybe you get in the car every time and you

turn on the super loud exhaust because you like everyone to know what you

bought well on the left you can actually key this hotkey to activate the exhaust

at the touch of a button whenever you get in so is this thing a proper sports

coupe you know what two doors or four doors I'm kind of tired of fighting this

battle I would call this thing a proper coupe a sports coupe even now isn't

there another four-door coupe in the mercedes-benz lineup and yes there is

the CLS class is also called a four-door coupe but Mercedes thinks that there's

room for two of those in the lineup just like there are two to do our drop tops

in their lineup the SL class and the AMG GT two-door convertible as well they

have different missions this one has a different mission than the CLS as well

the CLS is more about luxury this one skews much more towards the sports end

of the spectrum there's no pricing yet announced for this thing but Mercedes

tells me that if you look at the Porsche Panamera Turbo that is pretty close to

what you're going to be looking at for one of these when they arrive later this

year and when they do arrive later this year we'll bring it all for you at

cars.com

How Restaurants Trick You Into Spending More Money - Duration: 5:12.

Everyone knows that eating out costs more than cooking your meals at home, but restaurants

employ all kinds of tricks to milk even more money out of their customers.

From the design of the menu to the choices on the wine list, your visit to a restaurant

has been carefully orchestrated to make you feel good about parting with your hard-earned

cash.

It may even have you coming back next week for a chance to do it again.

Upselling

When you're ordering your meal, restaurants have all kinds of ways to upsell your choices.

If you're ordering a vodka drink, your server may ask if you want it with Grey Goose.

If you choose a steak and baked potato, your server might ask if you want to add a lobster

tail, or make your baked potato fully loaded.

It's about making the experience better for the guests while slowly increasing the bill.

"They said 'Market Price'...

What market are you shopping at?"

Server incentives

Anyone who's worked in the restaurant industry is familiar with server incentives.

Owners and management will incentivize the servers to super-sell a particular item.

The server who sells the most of the item during that shift can win a prize, which may

just be cold hard cash.

That's enough motivation for most servers to try to talk you into a dish that you may

not particularly want.

If a server is a little bit too enthusiastic about the chicken and artichoke special or

a new microbrew, it might be the incentive item of the night.

Smaller portions

You may not have even noticed it, but according to The Guardian, the plates at your favorite

restaurant may be shrinking.

On a smaller plate, it still looks like you have a lot of food, but the resulting smaller

portions will make you more likely to order multiple plates or add on desserts.

Savvy servers will likely even recommend a minimum number of plates to share for your

group.

Cha-ching.

Instant refill

If you've ordered a bottle of wine or premium water for the table, you may notice how excellent

the service seems to be when it comes to constantly making sure you have a full glass.

Yes, this does mean that your server is a seasoned pro, but maybe not quite for the

reason you think.

The server's goal is to have that bottle finished by the time you're barely halfway done with

your entree.

What are you gonna do, finish out the rest of the meal with nothing to sip on?

Of course not.

Nine times out of ten, you'll go for that second bottle, or at least another glass.

The same rule works with cocktails and beers.

Servers notice when your glass is about a quarter full so they can have a fresh drink

in front of you by the time you're polishing off that last sip.

"Surprise!"

Surcharge surprise

Even if you know exactly how much your meal costs, you may still get a shock when the

check arrives.

That's because restaurants often add surcharges that boost the total bill.

In cities that have raised the minimum wages for restaurant workers, proprietors might

tack a minimum wage surcharge onto a customer's total.

But those aren't the only surcharges to watch for.

Restaurants in most states are legally allowed to charge you up to 4 percent extra on your

bill if you're paying with a credit card, as long as they make the policy clear on the

menu or your server tells you.

Sides aren't included

If you're accustomed to dining at upscale steakhouses, you're probably used to this

policy.

Steakhouses rarely accompany their prime cuts of meat with a side dish.

Along with your $50 ribeye, you'll be expected to cough up another $10 for a baked potato.

This practice could easily trickle over to other styles of restaurants, so you may want

to ask specifically what's included with your entree.

Engineered menus

There's an entire industry dedicated to engineering restaurant menus in a way that prompts you

to spend the most bucks on your dining experience.

Some of the most common tricks are the absence of dollar signs in pricing and the use of

ethnic food terms to make items seem more authentic.

"I'll have the Thai chicken pizza."

"Hey look, if I get it without the nuts and leeks and stuff, is it cheaper?"

Restaurant menus may even highlight or bold the font of an item they wish to push.

Super pricey dishes are sometimes decoy items, placed on the menu to make the rest of the

prices seem more reasonable.

Even the eye movements of people reading menus have been analyzed so menu engineers can guide

your eyes to the dishes with the highest profit margins.

Desserts

Even if you don't usually order dessert, you may have been roped in by some of the dessert-selling

tricks that occur in many restaurants.

Some restaurants instruct their staff to leave the dessert menu on the table without asking

customers if they want to see it first.

When the dessert menu is dropped in arm's reach or standing on the side of the table

the entire meal, most people can't help but pick it up to take a peek.

And if you're still hungry from those smaller portions, dessert can be awfully tempting.

"Smells chocolatey, ay?

Now… eat it!"

Wine psychology

We already know that alcohol is the highest markup in a restaurant, so it should be no

surprise that the wine you buy at a restaurant costs you far more than you'd pay for the

same bottle at the grocery store.

In fact, one glass of wine might cost you more than the restaurant paid for the entire

bottle.

What you may not know, however, is that the restaurant understands the psychology of those

ordering the wine.

People will rarely order the cheapest bottle on a wine list for fear of seeming cheap.

So the second cheapest bottle on the menu, the one many customers opt for, is usually

the worst value.

The cheapest bottle is often a better deal, especially in restaurants with carefully curated

lists.

Most of us can't tell the difference anyway.

"Is it red or white?"

"Red."

Dropshipping: How Much Money Do I Need to Start? [Oberlo Weekly Q&A] - Duration: 2:22.

Hey everyone, my name's David – and it's question time.

This is our weekly series were we take a closer look at a question which one of our viewers

left in the comments section from a recent video of ours.

If you've got a question of your own, don't be shy!

Leave it in the comments section and I'll be sure to read it.

Okay, so here's the question I'll be answering today:

So, this one is from Tadiwa, who is asking how much money they would need before they

start their own store.

Thanks for that question, Tadiwa.

When you're getting started with your Oberlo dropshipping store, there are certain expenses

which you'll need to pay, like your monthly Shopify subscription, which will cost $29

USD a month.

When you're designing your store you can use a free theme, but you may want to spend

some of your business funds for custom designs, like a one-of-a-kind logo.

I'd budget $20-$50 USD for this – but honestly, you don't need any custom designs

to make a sale.

You might also want to place some test orders before you launch your dropshipping store

– just so you can review the quality of the items which you'll be selling, and put

yourself in the shoes of your future customers.

I'd budget another $30 USD for this, but again, this isn't essential.

Now, when you're getting started with your store, there's no guarantee that you'll

draw any visitors to your store.

And if you have no visitors, you won't be able to make any sales.

This is why it's imperative that you budget some money for paid marketing campaigns when

you're getting started with your store.

And the question of how much money you'll need for those paid marketing campaigns is

a tough one.

Really – it all depends on what you're selling, and who you're selling to.

With paid marketing campaigns, you're paying for clicks.

So, if you set up Facebook ads, you'll be paying for visits to your online store.

Factor in the fact that the average global conversion rate is 2%, which means that you'll

need to draw an average of 50 visitors to your store before you can make a sale.

So – it's tough to give you a definitive figure to how much money that you'll need

for marketing.

I'd say a baseline that you'd need to get started would be $150 USD, just so you

can test out some campaigns, find the correct audience, and hopefully start to make some

sales.

We do recommend trying out Facebook ads for your paid marketing campaigns.

If you're interested in learning more about them, we'll include some links in the description

to our Facebook marketing tutorials.

All in all, you'll need at least $180USD to get your store up and running, and to draw

some visitors to your products.

Hope this helped you with your store, Tadiwa, and I wish you the best of luck to you and

your store.

Now, what about you?

Do you have something that you need help with?

Let us know below.

We check through the comments section every day and we'd love to use your question in

our next video.

Literary vs. Genre Fiction - Duration: 16:29.

Sometimes, it feels like genre and literary fiction are at war. Genre fiction is accused

of being shallow and mindless, while literary fiction is blasted for being pretentious and

boring. This debate has died and risen again more times than zombies in pop culture.

Shoving books into such an arbitrary binary may seem unnecessary, but it does matter in

terms of awards and public perception. If you've ever taken a college-level course

in creative writing, your professors might've said genre stories wouldn't be accepted,

as was the case in my undergraduate years. Among literary circles, the genre label comes

with a stigma, which Neil Gaiman describes in an interview with Kazuo Ishiguro:

"By the time fantasy had its own area in the bookshop, it was deemed inferior to mimetic,

realistic fiction…I was fascinated by the way that Terry Pratchett would, on the one

hand, have people like A S Byatt going, 'These are real books, they're saying important

things and they are beautifully crafted,' and on the other he would still not get any

real recognition. I remember Terry saying to me at some point, 'You know, you can

do all you want, but you put in one fucking dragon and they call you a fantasy writer.'"

As much as I hate to say it, I'd rather be publicly caught reading certain books over

others—but reading genre novels shouldn't be treated as a shameful guilty pleasure.

In the words of Lev Grossman, author of The Magicians:

"Novels aren't status symbols, or they shouldn't be. Maybe it's the last vestiges

of our Puritan heritage: if it's not hard work, it's sinful. Maybe it's just that

we're self-loathing capitalists, and anything associated with commerce, as genre fiction

is, is automatically tainted and disqualified from having any aesthetic value."

By now, my positive bias toward genre fiction is probably obvious. This video might as well

be entitled "In Defense of Genre Fiction." But I do think that literary fiction gets

a bad rap too, from genre writers who bristle with defensiveness whenever the subject comes

up and scoff at any book that is hard to understand. It's natural to feel bitter about being

left out of larger conversations about contemporary literature. Oftentimes, the harshest critics

of literary fiction are those who approach it with the same expectations as genre fiction.

Plotless books that feature lengthy descriptions are tossed aside for being pointless and slow.

With these types of works, though, the objective isn't to keep the reader turning pages or

for the writing to stay invisible. Instead, these books ask you to slow down to appreciate

an image or a poetic insight. It's an entirely different reading experience.

Beyond public perception, the literary vs. genre debate also holds importance in marketing.

Readers often look for certain characteristics in books, whether that be interesting worldbuilding

or thought-provoking writing or both. Umbrella labels can help you or your publisher reach

the best audience for your story. It's like music genres: there's a big difference between

opera and rap. You might be disappointed if you get one when you want the other because

their sounds contrast drastically. It doesn't mean one is better than the other; they just

serve different tastes. Of course, genre and literary elements can coexist within a single

work, but we'll discuss that toward the end.

First, let's broadly define the two terms.

Some genre fiction includes fantastical elements: fantasy, sci-fi, horror. Other subgenres might

follow "paint-by-numbers" structures, like mysteries and romances. For example,

in a romance, the plot points are often familiar: the love interests meet, their attraction

grows over time, they encounter a major obstacle and overcome it, usually ending in a Happily

Ever After or tragic tears. That structural familiarity is part of the appeal—we like

variations on things we already love, whether it's book genres, music, or desserts. Genre

fiction is also referred to as "popular" or "commercial" fiction, suggesting that

it's more focused on widespread appeal. However, bestsellers are those that break

the mold with original world-building, plot twists, or memorable characters—readers

want to be surprised.

Literary fiction, also known as "serious" fiction, more often takes place in realistic

settings. Historical fiction and family sagas sometimes fit into this category. If there

are fantastical elements, they're more of the magical realism variety, where unusual

happenings are left unexplained, rather than presented as a defined magic system. Stories

might be more experimental in form or style. "Contemporary fiction" is somewhat of

its own category—stories set during modern times and written for an adult audience but

with less focus on language.

Praise for literary novels focuses on the quality of the prose and what the work illuminates

about the human condition or society. They're interested in exploring complicated thematic

questions like "Does everyone deserve forgiveness?" or "How does sexuality intersect with class?"

Discussions of psychology and philosophy are at the heart of these stories. Genre fiction

tackles these big questions, too, but literary fiction relies more heavily on symbolism,

metaphor, and nuance in its discussion of these topics.

Many people claim that genre fiction is plot-driven and literary fiction is character-driven.

These are sweeping generalizations. A number of genre novels would be considered "character-driven,"

and literary novels can have cinematic plots. But there is some truth in this distinction.

In fact, there seem to be three key differences between what classifies a novel as genre or

literary fiction: purpose, plot scale, and writing style.

Within the broad definitions, we can already see a clear difference in purpose between

the two classifications. Genre fiction is treated as entertainment and literary fiction

as art. Obviously, those aren't separate attributes; entertainment and art go hand

in hand, and neither label says anything about the quality of the work.

Perhaps it would be better to say that genre is more commercially focused and literary

is less so. That is, the former is more often treated as a business and the latter as a

craft.

Critics of genre fiction might say its sole purpose is to sell books. It's not about

quality, it's about money, which is why so many books, YA especially, follow commercial

trends. Vampires are hot? Dystopias are selling well? Let's flood the market with those.

If you read enough books in a certain genre, formulas emerge. In YA dystopian trilogies,

there might be large-scale conspiracies, love triangles, and a rebellion against the government.

Readers expect those elements, but they can quickly become predictable.

Literary fiction claims to be less about money and more about quality. Many authors who have

won the prestigious Man Booker Prize or Pulitzer have master's degrees in creative writing.

However, those programs have been accused of churning out homogenous writers, resulting

in a segment of literary fiction whose aesthetic rules can feel binding, rather than freeing.

As a genre, it follows its own tropes: adultery, dysfunctional families, murder in a small

town. Then, the truly original, avant-garde styles feel inaccessible to the general public,

much in the way of modern art.

This disparity in purpose relates to the intended audience. Why do readers read the type of

fiction they do? It could be said that people read genre fiction for escapism, to explore

new worlds, vicariously fall in love, and see evildoers brought to justice. Readers

of genre fiction usually expect the problems introduced at the beginning of the story to

be resolved by the end. When we crave a "beach read," we're

looking for something easy that doesn't require much thought. However, the darker

genre novels out there suggest readers aren't just looking for winsome heroes and happy

endings. Morally complex characters and themes are common across genres. It's inaccurate

to say that books in certain categories have no value beyond entertainment.

"Escapism" can be a negative label, but Lev Grossman suggests that it allows us to

better reflect on ourselves and the world around us:

"When you read genre fiction, you leave behind the problems of reality—but only

to re-encounter those problems in transfigured form, in an unfamiliar guise, one that helps

you understand them more completely, and feel them more deeply. Genre fiction isn't just

generic pap. You don't read it to escape your problems, you read it to find a new way

to come to terms with them."

With literary fiction, real-life problems present themselves more directly. Writer Steven

Petite says,

"There is a sense of accomplishment and fulfillment from finishing a 'serious'

book and the most important aspect in determining if the novel was indeed a remarkable escape

not from reality, but into reality, is if a reader reflects on the words after the last

page is turned."

Literary stories may lack a definitive resolution of the conflict, thus echoing the discomfort

that comes with uncertainty in real life.

Neil Gaiman suggested the opposite of reading for pleasure is reading for improvement, and

Kazuo Ishiguro agreed, saying that he does turn to books for spiritual and intellectual

nourishment—"to learn something about the world, about people." Some readers gravitate

toward challenging books that take high effort to consume and analyze, such as James Joyce's

Ulysses and David Foster Wallace's Infinite Jest. These novels are like puzzles, and it

can be rewarding to uncover nuggets of wisdom from the big picture they provide. Literary

fiction aims to make us question social norms and everyday feelings, to explore our own

minds.

Going back to the character-driven vs. plot-driven idea, it seems silly to claim that any novel

has absolutely no character development or plot. What these terms really mean is that

genre fiction focuses more on large-scale drama and external conflict, while literary

fiction is about small-scale drama and internal conflict. A large-scale drama in genre fiction

might entail a Big Bad—a villain the hero must defeat. Since the threat comes from outside

the hero, that's external conflict. A genre hero will usually face an internal conflict

as well, such as a lack of confidence in their own strength, but that's secondary to the

plot action. These stories whisk the audience into a sequence of exciting events.

In literary fiction, the small-scale drama usually involves relationships, whether with

family members or romantic partners. There might not be an obvious villain or even an

obvious plot. Instead, the conflict arises from the emotions within the main characters

and how those clash with the people around them. In novels, the story might span across

a long stretch of time, showcasing an entire life. Imagine someone diving into your head,

into the deepest parts hidden even to you, and bringing them to light. That's the type

of in-depth character study literary authors want to achieve.

So, these two types require different ingredients to fulfill the reader's expectations. Generally,

genre fiction is faster paced while literary fiction is slower. Genre prefers a page-turning

plot structure, and literary concentrates on emotional nuance and authenticity.

To that end, when editing a fantasy novel, I'm more likely to emphasize the importance

of the plot structure: an intriguing opening, an exciting climax, strong chapter endings—all

the delicious morsels that push the reader to stay up all night reading.

Literary novels have more freedom in how the plot is arranged; it's less about big, showy

events and more about the quieter-but-still-significant moments in everyday life. Instead of explosions,

the climax might involve one character finally revealing the truth to another, or even having

the chance to do so and failing. The spotlight is on exploring something about the characters'

inner lives and evoking true emotions.

Beyond purpose and plot scale, to me the most distinctive marker between the two categories

is writing style. Genre fiction often uses more accessible prose that reaches a wider

audience and doesn't distract from the story being told. Literary fiction values carefully

crafted sentences that can take more work to understand, but they attempt to capture

precise images and feelings; they are often lyrical and layered. As writer Kate Dylan

put it, "Simple, commercial prose isn't bad—it's just designed to draw no attention

to itself whatsoever. Literary prose is an exercise in language—you can't help but

notice it." This descriptor even applies to literary authors with minimalist styles,

like Raymond Carver and Ernest Hemingway—they are conscious of how the precision of language

impacts their work.

There is a misconception, though, that a more accessible writing style is less worthy of

praise. As the saying goes, "Easy reading is hard writing." In addition, plenty of

genre writers—past, present, and future—craft sentences with flair.

Let's observe the stylistic differences between a genre and literary novel in action.

Brandon Sanderson's high fantasy epic Mistborn involves a heist and a magic system based

on the consumption of metals. George Saunders' Lincoln in the Bardo is an experimental novel

about Abraham Lincoln's grief over the loss of his son and features 166 narrators.

Listen to this excerpt from the first chapter of the Mistborn audiobook:

"Kelsier had heard stories. He had heard whispers of times when once,

long ago, the sun had not been red. Times when the sky hadn't been clogged by smoke

and ash, when plants hadn't struggled to grow and when skaa hadn't been slaves. Times

before the Lord Ruler. Those days, however, were nearly forgotten. Even the legends were

growing vague."

The opening to Lincoln in the Bardo:

"On our wedding day I was forty-six, she was eighteen. Now, I know what you are thinking:

older man (not thin, somewhat bald, lame in one leg, teeth of wood) exercises the marital

prerogative, thereby mortifying the poor young— But that is false.

That is exactly what I refused to do, you see.

On our wedding night I clumped up the stairs, face red with drink and dance, found her arrayed

in some thinnish thing an aunt had forced her into, silk collar fluttering slightly

with her quaking—and could not do it."

From those excerpts, we get the sense that Brandon Sanderson is more interested in the

world and George Saunders in the character details, although the third- and first-person

narrators contribute to that. But I find it interesting that the two authors receive similar

types of praise. Mistborn is said to turn the genre on its head, while Lincoln in the

Bardo is touted as a "thrilling new form." In terms of theme, they're described as

tales of love, loss, and hope. It's easy to see the similarities in what makes both

good genre and good literary fiction: they surprise us in some way, and they explore

universal experiences.

Most writers would agree that genre and literary fiction are not mutually exclusive categories

but are better viewed as a spectrum. Countless authors toe the line between classifications,

among them being David Mitchell, Margaret Atwood, Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Susanna

Clarke, and Neal Stephenson. Neil Gaiman's style has a more literary feel than most fantasy,

too. Aforementioned literary author George Saunders showcases sci-fi elements like love

experiments in his short stories. Mary Shelley's classic Frankenstein is considered one of

the first sci-fi novels, and dystopias like Brave New World maintain critical acclaim.

Jane Austen's novels adhere to many romance tropes, with themes of class woven throughout.

Some say that literary and genre fiction are blending together more and more, but my opinion

echoes Lev Grossman's:

"They have their own generic identities, their own distinct sets of conventions, and

to smoosh them together would be to sacrifice some of our precious literary biodiversity.

But I've become very suspicious of their arrangement in a hierarchy, one above the

other."

Still, we writers can borrow elements from both styles. Literary fiction could embrace

plot and fantastical elements more openly without it lessening the intellectual value.

Genre fiction could incorporate more character complexity and creative prose, without it

decreasing the entertainment value.

As readers, we don't need to pick a side, and as writers, we shouldn't feel boxed

into a category. There's no point in shitting on other people's tastes. Write what you

want to write, and strive to tell the best story you can. The books, regardless of genre,

that withstand the test of time are usually those that push boundaries.

And remember that some of the most influential stories out there are those one might call

genre fiction—because "fiction is never real, but feelings always are."

What's the DIFFERENCE between English prepositions ON TIME vs. IN TIME - Duration: 5:56.

Hey, naturals what's up gabby, wallace here with a go natural english lesson to solve your doubts about

Some confusing challenging topics in english now i know a lot of you, want to know more about

Prepositions so in this lesson we're. Gonna talk about

What's the difference between on time and in time

on

Versus in with this specific example of time so we often use the preposition on?

With time and we often use the preposition in with time so what's the difference anyway they seem so

Similar let me explain there is a slight difference

In time if you'll just imagine with, me the biggest difference

Is that in time makes me

Think of when you're hurrying

You're, already late you

Don't have very much hope of being on time because something already happens maybe

You, took, longer than normal in traffic

maybe there

Was some other delay maybe you saw a friend and you started talking and you know it was hard to say i have to go

Anyway, there's already been delays so you're already, worried you're already sweating you're already

walking faster trying to get to your appointment on time

In time is when

You're, watching baseball and

The the, baseball player the batter has just hit the ball and

The ball has been

caught and

The outfielder, is throwing it to first

Base but the batter is running running running running and he dives in and he just

Touches he just just touches that first

Base just in time in order to stay on first base and not get out

So in time is a bit more

It's a bit more dramatic

It makes me anxious to say, about am i going to be there in time

Am i going to get to the meeting in time to

Not be late to not miss the agenda am i going to get to the bus stop

In time to catch the bus

am i going to

Be at the dinner party in time to eat dinner or am i going to get there after

Everyone, else has eaten all the food already and i just get leftovers

That is in time now?

to, be fair

Enzyme and on time are often used for very similar situations but the biggest difference for me

Is that enzyme is a bit more stressful and there's this

span of time where like, you're already late but you're hurrying, and you're trying to get to a place in

time

to

Take advantage of an opportunity

Whereas on the other hand on time is a bit less

Stressful it's an agreed-upon time you know that to be to work on time you need to be there at

7:55 a.m.

you know that

The train is going to be on time?

Well if you live in japan i lived in japan for three years the train is always on time like

99% of the time it's always on schedule on time

So it's predictable it's scheduled it's on time, make sure you get to work on time or your

Boss might be upset now

Bonus there's a, bonus phrase there's a common

Idiom in the nick of time this goes back to in time not on time but in the nick of time is like

so close to the very last chance to get somewhere or to show up to be

Somewhere in time for something

Like just in the nick of time, means you

Had like a half a second where if you had not shown up at

That time you would have missed that thing let's say, you're going to a, baseball game and

You just arrived at the baseball game in the nick of time to see the most amazing

Play, it happened just like that very quickly and you just caught it in the nick of time

Let's say that you need to catch the bus and you see the bus coming and you're running to the bus stop

You're, you're hoping the bus, doesn't just run by

Well the bus driver sees you you see the bus driver and it's this wonderful moment, where he stops for you

And you catch the bus in the nick of time

You could, have just missed it but you caught that bus in the nick of time

Congratulations so i hope that this clarifies some of the difference between on time in time and then the most

Extreme in the nick of time so use these if you're, always running late or if you

Want to talk about how

You're, always on time, also it's a great way to use these let

DIY Barbie Wine Bottle Lamp Decor | Decoupage - Duration: 6:11.

Welcome back to DIY No Need To Cry with Ivelisse.

Hi, my crafty family, this week DIY is this cute barbie wine bottle lamp I made for my

niece.

DIY Barbie Wine Bottle Lamp decor using the Decoupage technique

Please turn on your notification bells so that you can get notified every time I upload

a video.

Let's get started.

After you have your bottle lamp all put together it's time to decorate it!

If you want to know how I turned the bottle into a lamp the link is in the description

box below.

Okay so before I decorated it, I sealed the hole where the cord comes out of the bottle

with hot glue and added sand so that the bottle would have some weight to it.

Don't do this as it came off while I was decorating it.

I believe they sell something for that called a grommet so use that instead.

Using a sponge brush and white matte acrylic paint, I painted the whole bottle.

You can take the light socket out, paint that section and put in back in.

Let that dry and give it another coat.

While the bottle is drying, cut out the designs you want from the napkin.

I cut barbie out first.

Then I separated the plies of paper.

I then cut out all the individual hearts but I found that taking the plies off first was

easier because the hearts were so small.

I used more than ten napkins to get all the hearts.

Now it's time to decoupage.

Using a brush, place some Mod Podge on the spot where you'll be placing the image.

You want a nice even layer of glue but work quickly as you don't want the glue to dry

before placing the design.

Place the design and using a piece of plastic wrap, smooth out the wrinkles the best you

can.

And add one more coat of Mod Podge to seal it in.

I also added the Barbie logo and let it dry.

And then added the hearts around the logo.

Next, I fixed the bottom of the bottle so her skirt went all the way down by adding

paint.

Using a black paint marker and the lines already on her skirt as a guide, I just made them

longer.

I then added a darker pink and let it dry.

I added some diamond glitter paint to the white part of the bottle, you can give it

as many coats as you'd like, I gave it two.

then added yellow glitter paint to her hair and let that dry.

Using Mod Podge and rhinestones I blinged out her necklace and that's it for the bottle.

For the lamp shade, I randomly decoupaged gold hearts to all four sides.

I then did the same thing to the middles but using both the pink and gold hearts.

Fill in the area with the gold hearts, with pink paint, on all four sides.

I painted the trim with a gold metallic paint marker

Added the diamond glitter paint to all four sides and let that dry.

and finally, using a sharpie add polka dots and outline the gold hearts on the sides.

This is the Barbie bottle lamp all finished and I couldn't be happier!

Now let's just hope my 8-year-old niece loves it as much as I do.

She's a tough critic so I'll get the real review from her for sure!

This was my very first lamp and I'm so happy you guy's kept requesting it!

I was so nervous to drill into the bottle but now I know it's not hard at all.

Thank you so much for helping me push past my comfort zone because this just opened up

so many creative possibilities.

If you don't want to make the lamp just add all the hearts to the bottle instead and

you'll still have a beautiful piece!

Remember that you can decorate with anything, it doesn't have to be paper napkins or barbie

themed.

Use what you want and as always, have fun be creative and make a mess!

Thanks for watching!
