And today our guests is box mod by Lost Vape - Paranormal with DNA250C on board
And many of you may experience sort of dejavu - it's already been a review on this mod, the visual appearance is the same. And I will tell you...Yes
The appearance of this mod compared to Paranormal DNA75C and DNA166 is absolutely the same
Lost Vape didn't change the design at all, so it's the same as previous Paranormal mods
So I don't see a point in discussion of its design. Today we will talk about new function in DNA chips, which was released recently. This function is called Replay
Friends, the ones who subscribed for a long time and watch my videos more frequently knows how passionate I was about TC mode
And at this moment, every regulated box mod have TC mode. This is sort of mainstream
Every manufacturer adds TC mode and adding something to it or restrict it, but DNA was the first company who gave us TC mode
And with after some time my interest to the TC mode is faded. I stopped using it. I begin using Power mode and completely ignored TC mode
But I think that Replay function in DNA chips is a new life for TC mode
And this is TC mode without any troubles, when you don't have to worry
So, Replay and Paranormal DNA250C. Let's dive down and see how this function works
Well, we've seen this packaging before - Paranormal, DNA250C, logos, name and picture of the device
On the opposite side we have description of the main features of this device. Also we have manufacturers info, warnings, kit content and certificates
Under the sleeve we are met by the main packaging with the logo of the device and color mark, in this case Gun Metal is the main color, and additional colors
Let's open this chest and inside we see the box mod itself
Also we have MicroUSB-USB cable for charging and working with Escribe software
OTG cable to use this box mod as powerbank
Black suction cup for replacing the panels
User manual and warranty card
And individually packed carbon fiber panels
Friends, like I said we won't be discussing the design of this mod, since it didn't change since release of Paranormal with DNA75C or DNA166
It have a top panel for fitting 22 atomizers, because 24m atomizer will overhang
Hybrid inlay. Over here we have soft carbon fiber inlay and over here we have wooden panels, which could be removed with suction cup like so
And replace it with the one we have in the kit or with the one you purchased separately
For matchy-matchy let's use carbon-fiber panel. Though I think it looks more interesting with wooden panel

On the front side we have control panel. Fire button, LED light, which will notify us about certain events, screen of DNA250C, +/- buttons, menu button and MicroUSB slot
On the bottom we have a battery door and slot for 2*18650. This battery door opens by slide and it's spring-loaded. Very convenient
Inside we have spring-loaded contacts with correct polarity marks
Okay, let's do it. Let's insert the batteries, close the battery door. This door is closes perfectly. These screws....
And turning On the box mod. One two three four five. And it's on
Friends, I won't be wasting your time and tell you how the DNA C screen looks like. It's absolutely the same as DNA75C
For example this is DNA75C and this is DNA250C. As you can see they are identical
Mode selection didn't changed as well. With that white line you can change the modes. TC mode, Settings...Also in this mod we have that separate menu Watt Boost - it's Preheat adjustment for Power mode
Power mode and the most interesting - Replay mode
At the moment this mode isn't active. On the top we have resistance, battery life in %, the inscription Replay, adjustable wattage, blank box and settings
To make Replay mode work we need any wire, which is supported by TC mode
For example SS, Ni or Ti - the most common wires for TC mode
Besides, it's unnecessary that the wire was of the same material. You can use mixed material coils, for example SS/Ka1, SS/Ti, SS/Ni or SS/NiCr
In all those scenarios, where we have TC supported wire - Replay mode can work
Right now I have SS coil in Berserker - it's fused clapton, with the help of which we will test it
After we press the Fire button, mod will ask if this is new resistance or old
We select new
Put some cotton and liquid
Let's see what's gonna happen next. To make Replay mode work properly it's better to do like 5 standard puffs, so the mod could gather statistics
Next you can adjust the wattage, let's set it on 12W, because mod initially will offer us Preheat option, which will adjust automatically
Later you can adjust it manually
Okay, let's do it. Press fire button
Here we have inscription Firing and mod give us option to save puff
I recommend you to do at least 5 puffs, so the mod could gather statistics for more precise work of Replay mode
We will not waste the time and save this puff. Now the information on the screen has changed - here we have inscription Playing and 12W
And now, when you press Fire button, mod will replay this puff and will monitor the resistance of the coil, thereby will limit the opportunity to get burn hit
For mode details we can go into Puff info and watch what's happening after you pressed Fire button
As you can see at this point liquid is became less, so the mod has dropped the wattage. At this moment it's 17.9W
You will ask - why 17.9W? We've set 12W. In this case the mod has automatically adjusted the Preheat
As you can see in Atomizer menu tab - here we have Replay mode settings, adjustable resistance and wattage
Replay, Boost(preheat) and Punch
Punch is like a boost and wattage increase. I don't know how much %, but we have 18W while we set it on 12W
Let's disable Boost, we don't need it, and get back to Puff info
Pay attention - the less liquid will be in the cotton, the less power mod will deliver to the coil
So the mod will drop the wattage if the cotton will be dry
This means that TC mode is working correctly. Wattage is dropping, liquid in the cotton is decreasing
But as you can see the cotton isn't burning, so we won't getting burn hit
Cotton is slightly darkened, but It's impossible to call it burn hit
If we get rid of the cotton completely, mod will try to do something, will try to test something. But after it says - guys, something wrong, here's Check Atomizer and 2W for you
Overall, this is how Replay mode works. And I will repeat - this is TC mode without troubles. You simply save the puff and after mod do everything for you.
You don't need to adjust any temp limits and do some other stuff - this box mod will do everything by itself and this is why this Replay mode is great
So, TC is back! And we're going back to face-time and will talk more about that mode

I don't know if I should discuss the cons of this device, because, unfortunately, Lost Vape ignored the cons that I mentioned before
Yes, on this device 24mm atomizers will overhang
That's why only 22mm will look good
The screws that are messing up the design is still here. As well as playing panels
Overall, the cons we had in Paranormal DNA166
Let's discuss the pros
I'll give it a pro for its appearance. It looks great. Lost Vape have their own style in design. Lost Vape support their products, they look gorgeous and quality is great
Obviously, next pro I'll give for DNA chip. I always give a pro for DNA chip one way or another, because EVOLV continues improving their chips and add some new modes and functions
I will repeat - Replay mode is TC without troubles. You don't need to adjust any temp limits and do some other stuff - the chip do everything for you
DNA is like Apple in vaping world. This guys do something new or modify something old and present it like something new, but they do it better than everyone else
What the hell you are talking about?
Who I can recommend Replay mode to? To everyone. To advanced vapers, who already used TC mode and they didn't like it for some reason
And to beginners, who don't quite understand how much liquid they have in the tank and not monitoring, how much liquid left
In that cases, when you don't monitoring how much liquid left you can get burn hit - nobody needs it
With Replay mode you will not get burn hit even if you try - the chip will be dropping wattage when the cotton is dry
So with Replay mode you can forget what burn hit is. And it's great, convenient and simple
Also I'll give a pro for the fact, that you can adjust all of this on the mod itself
Now you are not tied with Escribe software, because all settings are stored in the chip itself and displayed on the screen. It's convenient and it's good.
And last pro I'll give for OTG-cable and the powerbank feature. I don't know who will be using it, but it's working. I tested it by charging another device
Unfortunately it couldn't charge my iPhone, but it works with other mods. So I'll give a pro for powerbank feature, though I don't need it at all
Now let's discuss the price. And it's obviously on the expensive side, because all Lost Vape products cost over 100$
So the price of this box mod is 150$. It's standard price for Lost Vape products, so it's not surprising
Anyway, this box mod have features that other box mods don't
If you are a fan of DNA or you're beginner who don't know what's going on - take a closer look on this box mod and spend this money one time, but you will get good product
