Spoilers for the final Digimon tri movie! Real ones this time! So what's up guys
Foxen here. Just got out of an early screening for digimon Tri our future.
The only catch to this was having to watch the fifth and fourth film right
before it. It wasn't all bad the fourth movie was much more interesting this
time since the director was giving live commentary for the whole one hour plus
movie. Anyway spoiler time for the final Digimon tri movie. Surprise it turns out
that a good chunk of those previous folders were too vague or just wrong. So
what did I think about this movie? I think you'll see right away let me just
say that one scene really made me want to scream fracking bullshit. I told
myself calm down you're in Japan but really I don't really even have this
character as one of my favorites but they did this person wrong. You'll see what
I'm talking about. Anyway I'm gonna go over everything that happened this is a
complete breakdown of the film in order if you have questions awesome I just ask
that you watch the full video first. By the way to give a digital LIKE to help
heal my digit scars from this! Okay so near the beginning of the movie there's
a lot of still images here and flashbacks if you cut out the flashbacks
and also the digivolution scenes you can easily cut out maybe 15 or 20 minutes of
the whole movie. In the previous movie that Meicoomon mega plus Ophanimon
fall down mode fused into Ordinemon. Near the beginning of this Kari
passes out after Tai is gone apparently she has a fever. I guess having both your
brother and best kitty friend gone that is terrible for you. Oh and a little bit
about the missing Tai. They spend a good amount of time showing you how everyone
is sad that he's gone although honestly the impact really isn't there. You've
already seen him in the trailers, the posters and even if you haven't you knew
he wasn't dead. On top of this Tai shows up pretty soon. We'll get to this. Next up
you have the Digital destined going back to the real world.
Once again they go through one of those random digital portals. For this I
actually don't recall whether it was a Kaiser who made that one of these things
appear but I think that he did. During this you have Ordinemon destroying the
whole real world. It's basically turning the real world into a second digital
world which is supposedly what Dark Gennai and by extension Yggdrasil wanted. Also
to some extent it seems like Dark Gennai has control of Ordinemon or at the
very least he could get this thing to start nuking everything.
Next up the action and battle scenes. I think there's a total of five main
action scenes and two of those involve the military. One of these you have at
the very start when ordina man appears in Japan you have everyone's digimon
going into mega form this actually got me pretty excited unfortunately it turns
out just like the previous movie when elf one turned them back into rookie or
dhinam on pretty much does that all of the Digimon go back into Riki super
quickly so everyone has to go back and regroup this then leads up to the second
action scene which involves the military attack and of course like you'd expect
the military is totally useless although funny enough animation why is
this is some of the most animation you'll see in the movie I got a feeling
that those animators for this movie just sucked I'm making actual animation for
Digimon but they did excel at stuff and like explosions helicopters tanks
because that's what you came to see alright so somewhere in between action
scene number one and number three ty appears and just timewise ty appears
maybe thirty to forty minutes into the movie unfortunately if you're a fan of
time you don't actually see him come back until maybe an hour and 20 minutes
into it anyway for this scene Daigo is also
involved in case you forgot Daigo and tie both of them fell into that pit when
ty awakens he finds this bloodied I go in this lab area somehow bloodied I go
to tie to their lab this is where some of you guys get what you wanted
seeing this 0-2 cast unfortunately it is how you expected he only sees a zero to
cast silhouettes they are in some capsules apparently in this digital
sleep mode apparently alpha man and by extension each rizzo did do something to
them somewhere along the way the Kaiser was also involved Mackey's whole
organization and which includes Daigo was keeping their supposedly to help
them at least that was what mockito Daigo as you know from a wall back Maki
was actually working with the Digimon Kaiser for a while as for that reboot
that happened back in the third movie a cornered I go Maki told him that this
was supposed to help the to the destin'd which of course you know
that she did not care at all part way through this the digimon Kaiser appears
in the lab he tells them that they're about to have some accident and then
there's some timer that appears on the screen which basically means in a few
minutes everything is gonna go boom dango goes ahead and tricks ty to get
him into one of the ponds the same one that deserved to cast R in it
Daigo then goes ahead and transports them to the real world and yes style
does die this guy was bleeding out super bad even before that explosion
killed him the last you see of dye go is him just doing this fist bump in the air
tourist time and before I move on to the next scene a couple of things worth
mentioning here first off Maki Maki does not appear at all in this movie well not
unless you count flashbacks reuse flashbacks if you recall the last you
saw of Maki was in the previous movie which was her in the water
so she very likely drowned although let me mention this they're most likely
keeping this vague since they do want to do sequels yep you heard me right I'm
gonna get to this oh so I guess let me just mention it here alpha mana alpha
man does not appear at all in this movie I don't think he even appeared in a
flashback next up the Digimon Kaiser slashed her
Jedi my god is this guy is such a troll in this movie that really seems to be
the reason why he's there I was trying to think of which anime character he
reminded me of although I really can't think of wanna just away you see him
moving around in this movie it makes me think of this little kid hyped up on
sugar although honestly it's not something I minded if anything gonna
help make the movie a little interesting alright so back to the real road while
all of this is going on Hackman appears in front of is the end other guys from
this is he realizes that he's Jasmine's rookie anyway Hackman is here this time
just to tell them about homeostasis new plan so get this homeostasis amazing
plan is to try to reboot again except this time there is a problem potentially
what the digidestined because of what that make them on fusion
thing is doing the real world now is way too in sync with the digital one another
reboot now would mean a complete reboot of the real world in other words you're
going back to the bang start over everything oh yeah and
Hackman does not give a damn at all he's like that's your problem
though any reason he's there is to really just tell them to get ready after
like five or ten minutes he's seen this ten minute counter on is his computer he
then see is he rushing back to his whole lab area to try to find out some
solution to this meanwhile while is he was talking to Hackman you see TK next
to Cori at the hospital or some bed the main thing here is that Kerry is woken
up both of them here have this little moment even Patamon points it out after
that they quickly rush back to the battlefield next to man next up action
scene number three this one better than the previous one sentence it actually
involves digimon unfortunately this is one of the frustrating parts about this
movie can you guess which digimon they decide to use the only one you see using
an ultimate Digimon is Matt using where guru Ramon right alongside him you see
champion Digimon like Pokemon Berchem Anika come on I don't think there's a
reason they cannot go into mega form right now
why use champions at pin 1 ultimate alright so recall that very frustrating
moment I mention at the start of this video this actually involves TK and his
Digimon so during whatever the hell Matt is
doing was work or room on T king car we are trying to rush over there par the
way there the Digimon Kaiser shows up through this digital portal he says
something to TK blah blah blah notice at this point that Panama is already in
ultimate form the Kaiser summons is devoman from the digital portal which
freaks TK out a little then he have this whole scene of Devon going to fight
Magna Angelman if you're like most people you would expect one specific
outcome to happen really quickly let me tell you you'd be wrong
devimon and not only is able to push back Magna angel mine Magna angel mine
actually gets a beat-down and buying devimon I'm not even joking like I
mentioned earlier this scene just made me want to scream out what the fuck they
really should have at least use something like myotismon anyway this of
course they saw the digidestined getting defeated again back to a rookie mode
this leads up to the fourth action scene another military attack
which of course is useless all right so in between this fourth action scene and
the final action scene there's a good chunk of stuff that happens
first off wizardmon all right so get this loserman appears for at most 10
seconds doesn't say anything he really just shows up to connect khari to Gotham
on and then is gone you then see that scene from the trailer which has got to
Mon talking Akari got to Mon mentions the light being
inside of may come on which at this point I'm really just thinking it's
referring to God to mind herself next up is e so it turns out that is he found a
solution and kind of recalling that back up either was trying to do at the end of
the third movie supposedly the back-up did work in some way it turns out that
may come on served as a backup for all Digimon not just at the Jesus and
Digimon but all Digimon right now all of that data which includes memories were
stored on Makos digivice all they needed was a password set by may come on which
was done Donna all right so in between this Hawks
planation you see the International digidestined for like ten seconds anyway
is he puts in the password and that big make Mon Fusion now let's out this big
light which is just may come on giving every Digimon back his memories
fortunately this helps reawaken God to man and separate his self or inside of
that thing this causes that ordina my monster to split into two halves a light
and a dark one this is where just one appears he shows up cuts that thing rest
he's got to man and then goodbye you don't see him again at this point that
dark half or of ordina man is somewhere in the ocean with this wings cut off
it's pretty badly injured so the digitus and think this thing is knocked out but
wait you then see this venom myotismon movement all of the dark digimon that
were around it go to it and basically revive and repair it this leads up to a
scene of ordina man going completely nuclear from the trailer soon after her
this is where ty makes this big return he rushes in to move me go out of the
way of our demons attack and saves her soon after he have Matt telling ty why
was he so slow to return they've all been waiting Matt tosses ty
the goggles and both of them run towards this may come on mutation at the same
time you have AG man c'mon going into mega form and then Omni
mana which leads to a negative for this movie they did reuse the omnimon
animation from the very first movie anyway you also have everyone else's
mega joining the fight oh and did I forget about someone so God to mine
wants to join the fight now that she's out and no that thing about using make
Mons data was wrong God to mom was able to go into holy Jomon no problem
solo so if you're free hooray you then see this montage of all the digimon
using their specials which is all reused animation to try to counter then is that
or dhinam on things shoots out this red laser Torres omnimon only Montblanc sit
and you have the other mega Digimon behind it pushing it back wall this is
going on you have Magnum on slipping in and then you're using your special fire
technique or ion or demons face up close honestly it was pretty sweet to see next
up the finale time Omni Mon merciful mode alright so you have all the mega
that you mind getting up close to omnimon they start glowing and they
either combine with Omni mana or just give it its power this is pretty unclear
I'm just gonna say a combination of all omegas right now at this point the movie
is basically over this new angel Omni Mongo side and slices some wings off and
then slices that thing in half for all of you may go and make them on fans you
do get one last scene with both of them and honestly have to say that this is
one of the top animations in the movie in this final moment Mako look super in
pain I think even if you don't like her you'll feel really bad for her alright
so just a few other things to go over first off the dark Digimon Kaiser in
this whole movie he's never really fully explained and by the way the director
referred to him as black gen I apparently this guy needed the Kaiser
get up to be in the real world so after make him on dying is do you see the
Kaiser and then you see this black cube in his hand the dark Digimon Kaiser
makes a mention of Diablo Mon in reference to the cube he then jumps into
this portal and disappears so really they want to make more sequels and just
a random guess seeing as how nothing was really done for the 0-2 cast
I really wouldn't be surprised if instead they did more seekers for try
maybe they'll cool them maybe they won't next up in the time-skip
there is this 30 months time see after the movie ECT k on his laptop just
hinting that TK will become a writer sora for whatever reason cut her hair a
little short they mentioned that I got greatly influenced by the dead dango as
form a coup she then moved back to her hometown and the cat may come on is
nowhere to be seen the last last scene of this movie is just a digit estin
teasing tied a collar everyone goes ahead and listens to thai while they
have their little moment in the credit scene you actually hear butterflies sung
my all of the Digimon and then at the very very end of the movie you only have
the sound of a digital eyes there are some rumors about there actually being
some type of real end scene in the full release and I think that really is
possible since they obviously want to do more of these movies alright so one
question that was there anything good just my quick thoughts though if I had
to say one thing ironically it might have been magnetron
if you're huge free you'll definitely get a kick out of her this go dragon
looks so fluffy and she also got one of the better scenes in the movie
thankfully not reused animation was there anything else
maybe the starting animation seen from ordina Mons first fight just seen this
thing flying around the city that looked really nice
unfortunately after that it doesn't really move much at all but anyway more
important let me hear from you question of the day what do you think about the
final Digimon tribe movie now and how do you feel about Digimon try in general
was it needed is anyone disappointed or mad about what happened to the 0-2 cast
they're basically forgotten would you like to see more tri sequence it's most
likely going to happen go ahead and post all of this and any questions down below
