I think it's one of the most popular mods on the vape market

And today our guest is Reuleaux RX GEN3 Dual by Wismec and JayBo
RX, how many in this word. I will not be surprised if anyone write a poem about it, because like I said before - every second vaper had RX
As you remember, RX always has been pretty big device and many people complain about it - it's big, it's heavy...
So later Wismec released RX Gen3, which was way more compact, than its predecessor
And recently, Wismec released a version of RX Gen3, which is powered by 2*18650
And I will say...Baby, you're worrying me
It wasn't being said to you. I said it to box mod
Overall, let's not delay the wonderful moment of close up. Let's dive down and see what this kit contains of - yes, we have a tank in the kit
Okay, here is the black packaging. On it is written Sample not for sale, Reuleaux RX GEN3 Dual and Wismec logo
On the sides we have a standard information, descriptions, logos and so on
On the rear side we have a description of kit contents, scratch code for authenticity check and manufacturers info
Under the cover we are met by the box mod and tank
And on the very bottom we see the rest of this kit content
Spare dark glass, MicroUSB-USB cable for charging and firmware upgrade
Individually packaged coil head with single coil and bunch of documents and manuals
Okay friends, now a little bit of technical specs. Let's begin with box mod. It's made out of zinc alloy and available in 6 colors
It's powered by 2*18650 and is driven by a familiar chip, which can give up to 230W and support with all modes we used to and it have all safety features
Also this chip have a familiar resistance limits - lowest resistance for TC mode is 0.05Ω, for Power mode its 0.1Ω. This device can charge the batteries via USB with 2A current. And the chip supports firmware upgrade
Besides, this kit comes with a Gnome King tank. This is sub ohm tank, but you can buy a rebuildable coil head for dual coils separately
This tank is available in 2 diameters - 22 and 26mm. The capacity is vary according to the diameter - from 2 to 6ml
That was regarding technical specs. Let's give it a detailed look. As always we start from the tank.
We've seen Gnome tank before, but this tank have slightly different design and, accordingly, different name - Gnome King. Apparently because of the top cap, which is made in shape of crown
On the top we have a plastic drip tip which matches the color of a tank. It can be slightly different in color or shade, but but initially it will be a certain color
This is 810 drip tip with o-rings. Non-o-ring 810 drip tips won't fit in here
Next we see the top cap, which is, as I said before, is made in shape of a crown. This top cap have a standard slider design with a mark, which shows where you should slide it. After sliding it we're getting access to a fill slot
This tank could be fully disassembled and after you take off the top part you are able to change the glass
And you're getting access to a replaceable coil head. The name of this coil head is WM01, it's 0.4Ω and it's best wattage is 40-70W
On the sides this coil head have cutouts for juice flow and it's single coil
Lower we have airflow adjustment ring with pretty wide airflow holes
On the bottom we have manufacturer info and the name of this tank
Saturate the coil head before use, make sure that cotton is wet to not get burn hit on the first draw
After this done, fill it and let it sit for couple of minutes to make sure, that cotton is saturated
Okay, let's give this tank couple of minutes so the cotton will fully saturate. And meanwhile let's talk about box mod
And before we're give it a detailed look, I want to compare Dual version size wise with Gen3 3*18650 and the first Evic which many still love
I think you noticed, that Evic is like 1cm taller and somewhere the same in terms of width
But battery life of our today guest is way better and functional is wider as well
This is similar models, but they differs by being powered by different amount of batteries and have different design. In dual version we don't have this angle, since there is installed third battery. But connector and all other stuff is the same
I voted with my own money for this box mod, because the first one I had on review I presented and bought another one, which I've been using for a fairly long time. And I can say that it's one of my most favorite 3*18650 mods
In here we have more compact version of it. This version is powered by 2*18650 but let's look on it closer
On the top we have a familiar 510 connector. Top part can fit atomizers with diameter up to 26mm
Spring-loaded pin and engraving with the name of this device
On the side we have a design colored inlay, a hole for cooling the chip. On the opposite side it's the same
On the front side we have a control panel. Fire button, the screen, + and - buttons and MicroUSB slot
On the rear side we have nothing but a painted inlay
On the bottom we have a battery door. On it we have Wismec logo, it says that its designed by JayBo and logo of the device
Battery door opens like so. It simply slides and it's opened. This door isn't spring-loaded, but it's folding back, so it'll be convenient to insert the batteries
Inside this cover have correct batteries polarity mark and numbers of the battery - 1st and 2nd
Inside of the battery slots we have polarity marks and spring loaded contacts
This is the version which I use - I have almost 2000 puffs on it. So let's insert the batteries and continue
One battery goes negative side up, one goes positive side up
After that close the battery door and we're getting fully working box mod, which is turn On automatically when batteries are installed
Yes, the screen is pretty dim, but it's very familiar. As you can see on the top we have wattage, next goes voltage, resistance, puff counter and battery life indication
The controls in this box mod is very simple and familiar - nothing has changed since previous version Gen3
To switch the modes we need to press Fire button 3 times
One Two Three
Top line has begin flashing. And now with + and - buttons we can scroll the modes
If we press and hold Fire button and + button simultaneously we're get access to a fine tuning - in here can turn On/Off the logo
Next we can adjust the Preheat. As you can see right now it's set on 95W and turned Off
Next tab gives us options to adjust the timer of turn Off the screen
If we press and hold Fire button and - button simultaneously we will enable Stealth mode. If we do it again we'll disable Stealth mode
If we press and hold + and - button simultaneously we'll lock them. If we press and hold again we'll unlock it
Box mod could be turned Off by pressing Fire button 5 times. The screen is faded and now we can do extra functional
If we press and hold Fire button and + button simultaneously we'll get into TCR mode - it's fine tuning of TC mode. Also we have 3 Presets, which you can choose while box mod is On
If we press and hold Fire button and - button simultaneously while box mod is off we will be able to see voltage of the batteries. As you can see right now voltage is 4.11 and 4.14V
If we press and hold + and - button simultaneously while box mod is off we can flip the screen. I don't know who might need this, but it's there. Do it again and it will flip back
And last thing i'm going to show is how to check firmware version. Click Fire button 10 times. Box mod will turn On but you need to continue clicking
One Two Three Four Five Six Seven Eight Nine Ten Eleven Twelve Thirteen...Well, just click it until this will appear - version of the firmware
Okay, friends. That's how 24mm atomizer gonna look like on this box mod. As you can see there's enough free space, because it fits atomizers up to 26-27mm in diameter
And I think I have nothing more to show you in this close up. It's time to get back to face-time and discuss this device

I'll say so, friends. This tank is not impressed me. This is regular sub ohm tank with some design. But it have standard functional and flavor for such sub ohm tanks
So we're not going to talk about it today. I reviewed Gnome before, now it's Gnome King, but they are no different except the design
Though it's very good, that Wismec make it in 2 diameters - 22 and 26mm. It's TPD version for EU and standard version with 6ml tank capacity.
And it's good that Wismec make a rebuildable coil head for dual coils for this tank, but it's sad that it's not in the kit - it would add versatility for sure
Okay, we're done with the tank, let's talk about box mod
Honestly, I see no point in discussion of pros and cons of this device - a lot of things being said about RX, and while time goes Wismec only improving it
It's the well known RX with familiar design, familiar functional, but in more compact size
I'll repeat - I voted with my own money for that version of RX Gen3 which is powered by 3*18650 and used it and enjoyed it because it's compact and have great battery life
In this version we'll have less battery life, but it's smaller as well
Overall, this is time-proven device with big credit of trust. And it's getting better with every year. I don't know what's gonna happen in the future, how RX gonna evolve, but this device is targeted to a fans of RX
So folks I don't even know what to say more. This device is getting to the Recommended section without any doubts. Let's talk about its price *NOTICE*By the way - I DID NOT noticed issue with overheating of the chip *
