How I Prepare Artwork for Large-Scale Printing · Painting, Scanning, Editing + Finding Printers · AD - Duration: 7:47.

Hello my loves and welcome back. I don't know if this will be the first video

that you see in the art room but it is the first one I'm filming in here so excuse

the mess, excuse the echo! As you know, I like to kind of close off a big drawing

project or challenge with a kind of final piece, a real culmination or

physical representation of the achievement of completing the

challenge. So this Inktober is no different. I actually wanted to do

something a little different. So in the past, I've done zines and I've had it in

my mind for a little while now that I've wanted to do a large poster for

something and I thought this would be a great opportunity to get that done. I

just think you know to bring together all of those 31 pieces of work into one

big cohesive piece to represent the finishing of this challenge. Now

obviously this is going to be a large undertaking and not least because I'm

starting a 31-day challenge on day 13 so I have a lot of catching up to do but I

thought I would take you along with me from you know making the art to

scanning it, editing it and optimising it for high-res, high-quality large

scale printing- I'm actually thinking to go around a1 size so we'll see how

that goes- and then obviously the next step of

actually getting it printed. So this video is sponsored by Intel; working on

this kind of scale with so many high res files in Photoshop, it really benefits

from Intel's optane memory and a good processor, but we'll see how my computer

ties into everything later on in the video. For now we have to make some art!

Now you can watch my 'First Half of Inktober' video up here or over here but

as I said, it's a daily drawing challenge for the whole month of October,

I'm just starting today because I've been dealing with the stress of moving

so I'm doing my own kind of version of the challenge, instead of drawing every

day which obviously isn't doable with my life so up in the air right now, my goal

is to finish the month with 31 finished drawings- ink drawings, and using limited

color palette which is going to be quite a challenge for me, but all-in-all that's

kind of my version of inktober for this year. And you can see in detail how I get

on with that in the video that I mentioned earlier. I'm drawing in

different sizes but with a general idea of how it will come together. I'm going

to digitally stitch each individual drawing together, just rearrange them on

Photoshop and I'm aiming to end up with a piece that will fit all of these

drawings into about an a2 size. As I said, I want to double that for the poster but

scaling up shouldn't be an issue if I make the right decisions when it comes

to scanning.

So that's where we're at now. Back in 'the office' which if you're new here is just

my old bedroom at my mum's house. All my tech stuff is still here at the

moment just because at the new flat we don't have the internet set up yet so

I'm back here to get on with the scanning portion of things. All the

art is done, I've got 31 individual pieces here; some hits and misses but

overall really happy with what I've ended up with. And I would have a similar

process at this stage with scanning even if I had just one large piece because my

scanner only scans at a4 size, I would still have to do multiple scans

and stitch those together. Yeah... with 31 individual pieces I'm gonna put

as many things in the scanner at one time as I possibly can and then just

stitch together as many files as I end up with at the end. It's gonna require

several scans and lots of stitching so wish me luck. A lot of scanning settings

come down to personal preference and also down to the software comes with

your scanner and things like whether you want to apply sharpness and whether you

want to do automatic colour correction or if you want to leave that all for

yourself to do once you're editing but one thing that you really don't want to

leave to chance is your dpi which is the pixel-like dots that make up a

whole image. So for a piece that I'm planning on scaling up, obviously the

more dots the better. The only issue with that is that you can end up with a much

larger and much more complicated file in the end- especially as I prefer to scan

things in TIFF format which means that I'm ending up with a totally

uncompressed file. You're getting all that pure, visual information crammed

into all those millions of billions of dots that you're then free to do

whatever you want with without compromising the quality. So in the end

I've got quite a few of these files that I'm gonna be working with, so the next

thing to do will be to load them all up into Photoshop, edit them, edit the colours

and adjust the sharpness, stuff like that. Just kind of optimise visually, stitch

them all together and then just get the finished piece looking right for that final

print. And that is why I'm really grateful to have a computer like this

one. It can do all that without making an issue of it. I know you guys will be able

to relate -or at least some of you will- working with loads of big files on

Photoshop and just essentially waiting for it to crash... thankfully I don't

really have to worry about that happening anymore.

The combination of working with large raw image files in large applications

needs a really hefty processor and some clever memory usage to allow you to work

seamlessly and just end up with the best quality that you could have.

So here I have the Lenovo IdeaCentre 520 and with it, I have a huge amount of

control over how I use large files, just not waiting for things to load or

struggling to pull files to and from different applications. So I have the

freedom to work with scans that are professional quality to my mind, much

larger than I ever would have thought of working with at home. So for example I'm

opening an a1 size canvas now on Photoshop, just making sure to optimise

the settings for prints, I think I went for 300 dpi, just making sure to switch

to CMYK for the colour profile just so there are no surprises when it comes to

printing and of course just making sure I've set up in the right dimensions,

right orientation. And now I've set up what in the past was quite a hefty and

complicated workspace, but it hasn't slowed down my workflow. Now the thing

about Optane Memory is that it's kind of tailored to my habits so it's

adapted to my regular practice of launching Photoshop straight after running my

scanning software, so it almost seems like Photoshop is ready to load before I've

even launched it. Right so as I said I'm just trying to get the colours as close

to the original as possible, position things in a way that I like them.

And I have to say, editing artwork is so much easier and possibly

actually quite fun when I have a computer that can handle everything that

I'm throwing at it regardless of file size and I can continue to switch and

add scans without the fear of crashing this software or just waiting around

while it is stutters and lags. One other thing I love about having a proper computer now is

the more physical aspect of things; the difference it makes having a large

screen and the lack of glare giving a true and detailed representation of the

finished piece. So obviously when I'm happy I will export the file and

different printers ask for different specs so I just treat each individual

project differently when it comes to which file type and exporting to. And

then when it comes to you finding printers I always approach it from the

point of view of finding someone that does the specific thing I'm looking

for rather than looking for just any old printer, general printers, the nearest to

me or the cheapest. I will set out on a search either online or just locally for

someone that will do what it is that I want for that particular project, be that

a7 size booklets, or in this case a1 posters with a matte

finish which is what I was looking for today. Before I take my files to them or

send them off with whatever information they're asking for, I will make sure to

do a test print myself at home - obviously on a much smaller scale- just

to make sure that everything is laid out properly and the colours are coming through how I

want them to, just to avoid any surprises once the final piece gets you and

then all I can do is wait. And here we are! The surprisingly pain-free project

and what to me it's a pretty impressive final product. I know you guys really

appreciate these in-depth behind the scenes videos so I hope this one hasn't

disappointed. Let me know if there's anything I've missed, if you have any

questions, as always don't forget to check out the description for any useful

links! If you want to find out what Optane Memory can do for you or you

want to learn more about this computer, there'll be links in the description for

you to follow but other than that guys, thank you so much for watching and I'll see you in

the next video! Bye!

invincible Grimma, please have a comfortable night. - Duration: 1:30.

If you live in an old house, you have a lot of troubles.

For example ... pest?

You know Grima? It looks like a centipede.

That's a lot of leggy, scary-looking thing.

But they say it's a good bug. I heard it eats cockroaches.

So when you look at it, you'd better not to kill it.

Pretend you don't see it. Just leave it.

One day, it comes out behind the TV ~

Good afternoon. Hello ~ Hello ~

Honestly, wouldn't it be hard to choose between centipede and Grima?

But the detestable thing comes out with a crunch.

Oh ... even if it was not a pest, the visual of it made me to eager to kill...

Oh, please do not think I leaved it because I was so scared!

I, I was not afraid. No, I was not afraid of the Grima.

Hi.

Please go and have a nice cockroach... I leaved it with honor.

It was a big boy, so very trustworthy~

And then, I forgot it all ...

But I found it ...

Grima's ...

I think you look nice on this angle.

I think this camera looks really funny!

I'm gonna bring a nicer looking camera next time.

Oh, this is the play that we're gonna go see! "The Hundred Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared"

We're gonna go see that play today.

Something that Jeewon has been longeing for! (Chocolate Chex Bingsu)

It's been a long time since I had Chex!

So delicious!

(Very Jeewon-esque review)

Is that the only thing that you can say?

Et tu Brute?

I could cry right now...

That's correct! I can only say delicious for food reviews

Could you express better yourself?

It's VERY delicous!

I'm gonna stop saying delicious.

It's really sweet!

Also very cool and refreshing

(We've arrived at the venue for the play!)

(The play has come to an end)

(Name of countries started flashing on the stage.)

Wait for me, unnie!

We've exited out of the venue after the play.

At the venue,

I found this!

A coupon voucher for future plays!

The play was based on a novel,

which I purchased but haven't read...

and I regretted not reading that before coming to the show.

It's not that the story was very convoluted,

but I wish I finished the book before

Bye bye, Daehakro!

Now we are on our way to Dongdaemun

Dongdamun seen through this camera looks very different. (Dongdaemun seen through Jeewon's camera lens)

Some shops here are proud that they're wholesale...

This area is concentrated with wholesale stores!

These wholesale stores,

Tons of tourists too!

since they're not regular retailers,

they do not cater for "regular" customers

However since Ji-ahn isn't so regular....

Jiahn is here for her work-related reason, and I tagged along with my camera.

(Wholesale warehouse sight-seeing starts now!)

So this is the place...

Hello~

Thank you so much, see you later!

Unnie, what's Janggi?

Receipt (a business lingo for it.)

We've arrived at the floor for ladies' clothes!

Can you tell me

what's like the basic bulk unit?

How many T-shirts would be a minimum order?

100?!

2... I see.

I see a little snack stand here... Don't stare at it you had lots of food already...

(Sight-seeing finished〜!)

(checking out children's section) They're so tiny!

They're so tiny, these must've fit me a long time ago...

Would my mom have been able to guess that I'd grow to 168 cm? (5'6")

The long day has finally coming to an end...

Guys..

As always, thank you for watching my videos!

I know this is very sudden....

but I'll see you guys next time on another video!

I'll research contents that you guys will enjoy next time as well!

I'm for real!

Until then,

(ENG SUB) Moschino X H&M shopping!! - Moschino [TV] H&M / #HMOSCHINO - Duration: 12:06.

Hi guys, and my Ryunas

It's Kyung-Ah from Ryu's Penna (Fashion Youtuber traveling life) &Tae-Kyung will help me shoot today!

Today is a really exciting day for me!

It's the day to go see the H&M and the Moschino Collaboration Collection!!

Wow! LOL

Actually, I really like Jeremy Scott.

But, frankly, Moschino's a little expensive.

So when I was a student, my favorite was Adidas and Jeremy Scott Collaboration.

So, the clothes I am wearing are still clean and fine since I saved some pocket money and bought them with overseas purchase! Hah!

Jeremy Scott is,

A designer whose attraction is Too-much.

So I am very excited!

The official launching day is November 8th and I can go to see in advance.

So I want to go shopping with you.

Would you like to go with me?!

Go Go~

Brilliant Collaboration Collection Pieces!

I'm looking at the collaborated products. It's all my style. Hah!

I think there are so many shiny things in this collabo, and there are so many gold products.

First, this dress!

This off-shoulder one-piece, when I saw it in Instagram, was the most frequently worn item by celebrities!

The overseas celebrities have already worn it a lot. I think it's pretty.

I'd like to try it on later, too!

And there's a lot of different styles.

When I looked at Instagram,

I thought there was a little gold and unique designs, but there were some cute Disney characters like this. (It is said that they celebrated the 90th anniversary of the birth!)

This kind of thing is far more normal than I thought.

There's also a lot of nomenclature designs for this kind of Moschino.

So there are many clothes that you can wear without burden!

Wow, this is cute!

Padding Skirt. It must be very warm, right?

What is this button? It is so cute.

Now let's look at some of the typical gold designs.

It is really colorful.

Wow... these pants...

This set is not a joke. LOL

How are you, Tae-kyung?

Tae-kyung: Wear a set and come to see me.

Tae-kyung: I'll pretend that I don't know you. LOL

Wow. This one is a real human gold bar. LOL

There's a crop t-shirt!

Pretty!

By the way, if you buy a T-shirt like this, you don't need a necklace. LOL

I think wearing this necklace would be really bad for me.

But you can do something like a choker again, right?

Oh, crop padding!

It's my favorite way.

A length which comes right down to his chest?

Oh, this is pretty, too.

You'd look really pretty to wear this in that jacket! You see?

Tae-kyung: Yeah!

But I think this is a set of panties and bras.

By the way, is it a design that can be worn over outers.

I'm afraid it's too good to wear in my underwear.

A design you'd like to boast about?L OL

Tae-kyung: Kyung-Ah's style!

Wow!

But this chest is a little stressed.

Some people may think this detail is too much.

And there is a quilt detail on the ribs!

Is it a good feeling to wear in fall and winter?

Those who love clubs would like to wear.

You can wear this fur as a set.Lol

Tae-kyung: Oh, great.!

And there's a thigh high boots. They're very long.

This isn't a Thigh High level.

It's my leg length. LOL

I don't think I can see the tip of my shoes if I wear something like a skirt after I wear it. LOL

Wow, this was worn on mannequin.

Tae-kyung: This is my style.

LOL Cuz it's short?

Tae-kyung: Yeah. Because it is short and denim.(perfect combination)

It's really a crop length for you.

This one's normal enough. You see?

These days, blue jackets are more flashy than this.

So I think it's pretty normal except for the length.

Wow, this tube top is really beautiful.

I should try this on. LOL

Oh, that's so peculiar.

I saw this earlier!

And the skirt in the mannequin, I see a lot of top-looking pants.

Lol Somewhat weird word though.

This is a hoodie-like skirt!

This is a little mediocre.

Top is a little plain.

Oh, there's also jersey ! It's pretty.

It's... it's carefully embroidered.

It's not just a slip of the tongue.

Beads embroidery?

It is made of that, so it's supposed to make me feel more luxury.

And since there are a lot of short tops, they are all my style.

Wow...

I think wearing a swimsuit and this will be really pretty.

So I've been hanging swimsuit inside jacket.

Isn't it pretty?

It is so pretty.

This is CD-printed.

It's a quite long considering jersey . Is that a one-piece dress?

I don't think it's that bad for me.

Is it because the clothes I'm wearing are too much? LOL

Tae-kyung: You're the most too much?LOL

No, there is also a puppy clothes. I can't believe it.

What is this... Oh, is it a dog's collar?

Can I use this as a choker?

Oh, this is a cell phone case.

Tae-kyung: Yeah? Awesome.

There's a bear in the Moschino product.

But it's a cell phone case.

Now, I'm gonna pretend I'm taking a selfie. LOL

It feels like she's taking a selfie.

LOL So cute~

It also has a price on it.

69,000 won will do! (Moschino bear is this price...)

Wow.. This is the moment I buy collaborated stuffs for!

What a beautiful hat!

Oh, hahaha

It feels like a little bit annoying if I wear it.

Beautiful!

I think it's okay to wear this and dance.

It feels like a little bit of a belly dance.

LOL already dancing!

No. I must do a belly dance with my neck.

What are you doing?

There's also a coin purse that can be worn like a key ring.

And this is an earring?!

Oh, this is an earring!

I can't get earrings because they're uncomfortable.

So if I buy this, I will change my needle, right?

And look at this. Look at the bag. I'm crazy.

It is very heavy.

Tae-kyung: This is like a real iron.

Hahaha it really is!

Wow... a lock bag.

It's supposed to be a magnet lock like this.

The price is 249,000 won!

It's a reasonable price for a Moschino and a little more expensive for H&M.

Quite Unique.

I really like it, but it's heavy without putting anything in.

I think I can... exercise! LOL

Isn't that pretty next to this, too?

It's small, so it's light!

But the price is the same.

249,000 won!LOL

Uh, like this is a little bit of a loss? LOL

I think I'll just buy a big one at a price like this. I am LOL

There's also a suspender. Cute!

What is this?

What is this giant glove..?

Tae-kyung: Isn't it a hat?

Like a beanie?

Attempt to wear a giant beanie! LOL

But this...

cute, right?

Tae-kyung: Strongly recommended for insiders. LOL

No, but it's not too unique when you put it down. You see?

Is the back cute?

Tae-kyung: Uh...

Tae Kyung: You look like a nun.

Oh really? Lol

There's also a slipper with a chain point like this.

Oh, it's lighter than I thought!

And here are a variety of accessories!

This is a bracelet.

That's another bracelet!

But this kind of feeling is also common in the market.

On the contrary, this is a bit good. boldly

TA-DA

Do you know what this is?

Condom necklace.

Oh, this weighs a lot.

In fact, in the West, this design can be laughed off and it feels witty.

A little bit.. I think it might be a bit inappropriate in Korean mood.

It's not a bad thing.

In Korea, I like Kitch, but I think I'll pass this even if I like it. (Recognition of people… it's... TT)

Cute!

Actually, I thought that the CD-printed ones aren't as unique as Jeremy Scott.

This line is pretty. It's cute.

Is this a suspender?

It's a suspender, and the front…Ah!

Usually there's a piece of suspenders up ahead.

It's a little bit like a Suspender(only straps)on the front part, and this is how the back part looks!

This padding is cute!

This part can be detached!

It's a little bit more unique as the details on the jacket and coat are in the padding.

It got all this stuff? LOL

Tae-kyung: the back is all spangled.

Wow, yeah.

Oh, there's a backpack.

There was a bag in stuffs that I passed by while crushed on that padding LOL

So big! Tae Kyung, you should wear this.

I think you can get into

LOL cute

You are bigger than your upper body.

How does it weigh?

Tae-kyung: It's really light.

Oh, really?

Tae-kyung: It's very light.

I thought it would be heavy because it looked like a quilt. lol

Besides, this zipper is pretty bold.

Look at this. The zipper is big.

Pretty cute.

How much is this? Pretty desirable. lol

The price is 299,000 won!

I think this is good for size and detail, right?

Besides, it's quilt. (And this is Moschino!)

I thought there were only female underwear earlier, but so did male underwear!

And the last!

The last piece is this super shiny padding!

The price is good. 39,0000 won!

There are almost 300,000 won paddings these days.

I think it's okay.

Very shiny.

There's not much light right now.

But there's a twinkle like this. LOL

Now, let's wear it on the cody!

TA-DA!

I even got a dog's leash. lol

This holds your chest well!

It doesn't run down.

It feels like he's holding me back.

With a good waistline.

Is the skirt a little H-line?

It's the kind of fit between A and H that can make you look good.

Oh, that's pretty.

I thought this would be better than Gold point, so I wore it with my accessories.

The top is like pants, and the bottom is like a hoodie.

So it feels a little bit like it's been changed up and down and I'm quite happy!

Guys, I like it better!

In fact, the reason why celebs wear that dress a lot is that

We can easily recognize that it was made by Jeremy Scott!

In fact, I like 'too much', but I like it just this much better!

You know, the uniqueness in the detail?

I brought gold and this to try on the last two jackets.

But it's a shame that we don't have all the collection items here. (I heard a lot are borrowed from magazines and so on!)

So this is the only skirt I have.

That's why it's so big.

Tae-kyung is holding it now. It's really big.

But jacket is really pretty. You see?

I think it'll be pretty to wear with this kind of high waist pants.

Gold is definitely more colorful.

It's a real jackpot.

But my taste is short!

I like High waist style, so I think that's my style.

It's really shiny and pretty, but I don't think I'll wear it often!

Yeah. So you saw the Moschino and the H&M collection, the Moschino TV H&M collection.

Oh, isn't there so many pretty things?

Actually, Jeremy Scott's Moschino products are really priced, right?

That's why this collection is more popular and popular.

Like me, who like the unique and the kitch, but Moschino products can be very expensive.

Honestly, this collection is quite a down price, isn't it?

It looks like it's priced from 100,000 won to 300,000 won.

So I'm really worried about what to buy. LOL

To be honest, if you were thinking about what to buy on the day of the launch on the 8th, I could see ahead because I might have difficulty buying.

I hope this video will help you make your choice, too!

When I was filming, my battery is flat, yet I couldn't take the extra battery.

So I was doing the finishing video alone, but Tae-kyung's opinion was the same.

From the more colorful things to the less burdensome details!

It was very various. Tae-kyung has a blue tube top that I have tried on? He wanted the tower.

I hope I can go there on the 8th and buy what I want!

Well guys, this is the end of this clip

Kiyomi Cook, Marcus Mariota's Girlfriend: 5 Fast Facts | Heavy.com - Duration: 12:51.

Kiyomi Cook, Marcus Mariota's Girlfriend: 5 Fast Facts | Heavy.com

Marcus Mariota is the quarterback for the Tennessee Titans.

On Monday, November 5, the Titans will take on the Dallas Cowboys.

It's going to be a big night for Mariota, as his team's 3-4 record this season could play a big factor in whether or not he continues his career in Nashville.

"To me, Marcus Mariota is in one of those places that I don't really like as a quarterback, so I don't really know how to judge it.

I don't know whether to say all of these issues are Mariota or maybe he's not going to be an elite player.

I don't know.

I just know the thing is not working.

I feel like he's a dynamic player.

I would like to see him in other systems, but I don't get to.

I see him in Tennessee, and until further notice, I am just going to hold off.

I am not sure who to blame for all of the ups and downs right now," Hall of Fame quarterback and ESPN NFL analyst Steve Young said.

Mariota will have the support of his girlfriend, Kiyomi Cook.

He and Cook have been dating for a couple of years now.

Cook was first linked to Mariota in 2015 and has been with him ever since.

She lives in Nashville with Mariota and works as a soccer coach.

Here is what you need to know:.

She & Her 2 Siblings Are Really Into Soccer.

Not too much is known about Cook, who keeps all of her social media accounts private.

She does have Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts, but she only allows her friends to see information and photos that she posts.

Cook hasn't shared any information about her personal life or about her relationship with Mariota and she has managed to keep her name out of the media.

Cook was born in Gresham, Oregon, to dad, Karl Cook, and mom, Carol Cook, (nee Tsuhako), who grew up in Hawaii.

She has one sister named Kerri, and an older brother named Kevin, according to FabWags.

Kiyomi Cook started playing soccer at a young age.

She was on the soccer team at Sam Barlow High School, where she was selected first team all-conference and second team all-state in 2008, according to the University of Oregon's Athletics Department.

Cook then went on to play soccer at the University of Oregon.

Both of Cook's siblings play soccer.

Kerri, 21, is pursuing a nursing degree at Middle Tennessee State University.

She is the captain of the school's soccer team.

Meanwhile, Kevin, 27, attended the University of San Diego for one year before transferring to Seattle University.

He graduated in 2012 with a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and is currently coaching soccer for Seattle United.

Kiyomi is the only one of her siblings whose name is traditionally Japanese.

According to Behind the Name, the name comes "from 聖 (kiyo) 'holy, sacred' or 清 (kiyo) 'pure, clean,' and 美 (mi) 'beautiful.' Kiyomi is also a Japanese citrus fruit, a hybrid of Miyagawa Wase mikan and a Citrus sinensis orange created in 1949.".

She Started Dating Mariota in College, But They Weren't Spotted Together Until 2015.

Mariota had been dating his high school sweetheart, Nicole Watase, well into college.

However, the two ended up going their separate ways and Mariota started seeing Cook a short while later.

The two actually met in 2014 while both attending the University of Oregon, but didn't take their relationship public until the following year.

Cook made headlines when she was spotted in Honolulu, Hawaii, with Mariota back in 2015.

The soccer star attended Mariota's NFL Draft party, marking the first time that they were photographed in public together.

Before she started college, Cook revealed that she had a celebrity crush on Trey Songz.

During a 2011 interview, she shared that she'd like to take the entertainer to her "favorite place," Red Robin.

In a Q&A years later, Cook revealed that if she could date any celebrity, it would be Marcus Mariota.

It's unclear if the two had already been dating at the time, or if she is just lucky enough to have her dream come true.

She Lives in Nashville & Coaches Soccer.

Cook moved from Oregon to Tennessee where she currently works as the girls' middle school coach for the varsity team at the University School of Nashville.

She took on the role in September 2015, just months after she graduated from college.

"Kiyomi Cook will serve as the Middle School girls' soccer head coach. Cook, a recent graduate of the University of Oregon, lettered four years for the soccer team.

Originally from Gresham, Ore., east of Portland, she won seven state championships with her club team.

Before devoting all of her time to soccer, Cook played basketball and volleyball and ran track," reads her bio on the school's website.

Cook also coaches the Nashville Football Club, a position that she has held since August 2015, according to her LinkedIn page.

Cook and Mariota live together in Nashville.

After inking a 4-year deal with the Titans back in 2015, Mariota dropped a cool $1 million on a penthouse at Gulch Condominiums.

"Mariota's two-bedroom condo features 15-foot ceilings, modern concrete accents, and a custom floor plan.

The neutral-toned bathroom has a bit of whimsy with tiling that evokes zebra stripes—but otherwise, the penthouse's design is serious, clean, and oh-so-luxurious," Realtor.com reported at the time.

In an interview with The Tennessean a few months later, Mariota confirmed that he and Cook had been living together.

"A lot of times I'm just kind of hanging around the house.

We don't have a whole lot of (free) time, but I went down on Broadway for a little bit, just to hang out at some of the — like Acme (Feed & Seed) and I think it's called Tootsies.

Anyway, we kind of just got to see Broadway a little bit and heard a lot of music at the country bars.

It was a lot of fun.

… We're still kind of exploring," Mariota told The Tennessean in February 2016, shortly after he purchased his new home.

Last fall, Mariota paid $2.45 million on a four-bedroom home in Kailua, Hawaii, according to the Los Angeles Times.

It's a nice spot that's close to his hometown where he and Cook can go during the off-season.

She Took Part in a Habitat for Humanity Build in Nashville.

Cook has spent some time giving back to the Nashville community.

In 2016, she joined Mariota and his parents, Alana and Toa Mariota, on a Habitat for Humanity build in Nashville.

They worked together in the Ewing Park area, helping build a home for Mohammed Berema, his wife, Khadija Aldom, and their seven children, according to The Tennessean.

"I just like being a part of the community and this is a great way to get involved.

We have some free time in the offseason and this is a good way to spend it.

I got to meet the family when we started working and it's all about giving them a roof over their heads and I'm happy to be part of that," Marcus Mariota told the outlet at the time.

Mariota and his family were joined by several other volunteers, including four other Heisman Trophy winners: Tim Brown (1987 Notre Dame), Mark Ingram (2009 Alabama), George Rogers (1980 South Carolina), and Billy Sims (1978 Oklahoma).

Catherine Driscoll - Why I did the Care Leavers' Challenge - Duration: 1:28.

We have absolutely fantastic children and young people who've been in care and

become care leavers, and they work with us through Speak Out and Who Cares We

Care, and one of the things that the young people had been talking about with

our staff was the challenge to us, as corporate parents, to live on the care

leavers amount. So, a number of us have risen to that challenge and, as I said

earlier, it has been tough, has needed a lot of thought and planning, and it

really reminded me of how important work is. If I hadn't been at work this week I'd

have found it much harder because obviously being busy means I'm not

thinking about going out and buying things and spending money, and also work

is the opportunity to earn money. So, I've reflected a lot on my own career, the

people who've supported me during that time and I just want to make sure that

we all as corporate parents are as supportive of our care leavers

in finding the apprenticeship, the training, the careers, the support, that

they need to have the very best careers that they can. So, a really important

focus this week and it's motivated me to work even harder on that.

Division, Jesus, Unity - Duration: 11:21.

You know in the first section of Ephesians 2, Paul talks about how people become Christians.

Then in the rest of the chapter, he starts to discuss how God takes those Christians

and He combines them into these communities that we call churches. And he essentially

tells us a story here that unfolds in three scenes. And if we had all day, I'd really

want to dive into this and unpack this. As it is, our time is short so, I'm going to

focus really on how it applies to us, today.

And that first thing we come to, we might title something like, division. It begins

right at the beginning, verse 11 there. So Paul is speaking to, largely to believers

here. And he asks them to do something. He asks them to think back in time, to before

God extended His grace to them, before they were saved. He tells the church, remember.

Think back to who and what you were before God's miraculous work in your life. He wants

them to remember, he wants them to remember first, that they were divided. In that state

there was deep division, Jews and Gentiles were divided from one another. The Jews, they

looked down on the Gentiles and they slurred them with that word you see in there, the

uncircumcision. It was very, very much an us and them mentality, where the Jews looked

down on the Gentiles and the Gentiles looked down on the Jews. Humanity was divided from

humanity. But it was even worse than that. Humanity was divided from God. And we see

this unfold. Paul uses these really poignant words. Verse 12, remember that at that time,

you were seperated from Christ. They were separated from Christ, separated from all

the goodness and all the grace that is in Jesus Christ. They were also alienated. They

were separated, they were also alienated. Alienated from the commonwealth of Israel.

God dispenced His blessings, His covenant blessings to those who are citizens of His

nation, and they were not citizens of His nation. Therefore they were strangers. Strangers

to the covenant of promise. It makes sense, verse 12 then, that they were hopeless. They

had no hope at all in the world. And finally, worst of all, they were godless, they were

without God. These people had forsaken God and been forsaken by God. That's an ugly scene.

It's an ugly place to begin a story. Do you see the horrifying state that these people

were in? Do you see the horrifying state that we are in without Christ? Scorned, seperated,

alienated, strangers, hopeless, godless. That's them, that's you, that's me. Paul wants them

to remember all this. Remember when that was their state, that was their condition. Why?

Because this is the great leveling. It reminds each one of us, we are all so deeply, deeply

sinfull. There's no people, there's no nation, there's no person that stands above any other.

If we are to enjoy any blessings at all, especially if we're to enjoy that gift of unity amid

diversity, it must, must be a gift of God's grace. God must act, God must move somehow.

And so that first scene is one of humanity divided from God and therefore humanity divided

from humanity.

Then the curtain falls and the curtain rises on a second scene and this scene is simply

of Jesus. Simply of Jesus Christ and His life and His death and His resurrection. We come

to these two precious little words. But now. But now, verse 13. But now in Christ Jesus.

So we're making a sudden leap here. We're going from the past to the present. To the

way things were, to the way things they are now. Verse 13, but now in Christ Jesus, you

who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. You see God did not

leave us in that state of warfare and that state of alienation. He sent His Son. He sent

His Son to reconcile us to God and to reconcile us to one another. That vertical reconciliation,

it brought about a horizontal reconciliation.

See if you can pick up the theme in the next few verses. Verse 14, He Himself is our peace,

who has made us both one. Verse 15, that He might create in Himself one new man in place

of the two. Verse 16, that He might reconcile us both to God in one body, through the cross,

thereby killing the hostility. Do you see what he was driving at here? This work of

Jesus is all about unity. The work of Jesus is about making us one. Which means that there's

still division between us. It's proof that we just haven't fully worked out the implications

of the Gospel. In the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ, God created one new race.

God created one new people. And this one supersedes all others. This means the core of our identity

is not Jew, it's not Gentile. It's not black or white or male or female or culture or place

of origin. None of that. The core of our identity. The one thing that unites us in the deepest,

most substantial way is Jesus Christ. See, all those other distinctions still exist and

they still matter. God has a glorious purpose in two genders. God has a glorious purpose

in many races. God has a glorious purpose in myriad ethnicities. God's purpose is not

to destroy distinction, but to destroy division. See, His purpose is not to promote uniformity,

but to promote unity. Our only hope for true and deep and lasting unity, unity in diversity,

is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And God receives all the glory. God receives all the glory

when He so transforms people that those deep divisions that once held them apart, they're

now just thrown aside, they're swept away in this great torrent of love. So our second

scene is Jesus.

Then we move to scene number three. The curtain falls, and it rises on a third scene. A scene

of unity. United humanity. You see the flow in the story? You see how it's being told?

We have division and then we have Jesus and then we have unity. Verse 19 begins with,

so then. On the basis of what Christ did, so then, here are the implications, here's

how this works out in your life. Here's how this works out in the church of Jesus Christ.

The scene gives us these three vivid images that we need to fix in our minds. Three vivid

images to stare at, to look at, to meditate on. It's like that curtain has risen, and

before us is a great stage. And on that stage are there different sets. On the left of the

stage, we've got a nation with its citizens. At one time there were two groups in this

country. This country had citizens, they were the insiders and it had strangers and aliens,

those were the outsiders. And these two groups in that one country were deeply, deeply divided

from one another. But now the strangers and aliens, they've been drawn in. They've been

granted every right and every privilege that comes with citizenship. They're full citizens

of this nation. And now the whole nation together stands there before their King. They're equally

standing there, honoring, praising Him. There was division, there was Jesus, there's unity.

On the other side of the stage, we've got a family. We have a nation with its citizens

here. Over here we've got a family, a Father, and His children. And we learn that some of

these children standing before their Father, some of them are adopted, some of them are

biological. Both are completely equal in the eyes of their Father. Both are equally loved.

Equally treasured. Equally cherished. Equally precious. The inheritance of the Father, it's

equally divided among each and every one of them. That's God's household. There was division.

Then there was Jesus. And now unity.

Then we look to the center of the stage and there's this great building there. This was

once just chaos. Just isolated bricks and stones and building material just scattered

around this construction site. Now, it's a temple. Now it's a temple worthy of God Himself.

The apostles, the prophets, they're the foundation upon which it's built. Through their inspired

instruction, they're it's foundation. Jesus Christ, he's the cornerstone, the stone that

holds it all together. You take that stone away, it will collapse, it will be malformed.

What's this temple made of? Us. It's made up of us, all of us. We are the stones, we

are bricks that make up the temple. From isolated bits of building material to this gorgeous

temple. There was division, there was Jesus, there's unity.

So there are our three scenes. We've got a nation assembled before it's King. A family

gathered before it's loving Father. And a temple that's been constructed as the dwelling

place of  God Himself. What has God done? He's taken us from division, all the way to

unity and He's done it all through the Lord Jesus Christ.

the crab is tasty but expensive as well

and preparing it is so hard

and here comes the benefits of the crab sticks

- let's show yuka that we support her by leaving a comment and smashing the like button - and this time we used the microwave that make cooking looks so easy to make crab sticks rice bowl using crab sticks

so, let's see how we made it now

the ingredients...

rice, crab sticks

eggs, soy sauce

sauce powder, black pepper

sesame oil and green onion

let's start with slicing the crab sticks

it looks like my cat LON smells the crab sticks

lon is excited

but because lon can't eat this kind of food, i can't give it to her

so, let's taste it

yummy

crab sticks is amazing

let's break the eggs in the bowl

i couldn't do that by one hand

and soy sauce

with some sauce powder

salt

- black pepper -

and we mix it

you can use chopsticks for a normal amount, but because the amount is so huge that's what i'm going to use

- put the mix in the microwave for 30 sec on 500 W - and now let's cover the mix

and during that let's cut the green onion

this kitchen knife is a gift from my friend, it's so easy to use

sorry for the green onion, but it's a berti knife

you can't buy it anymore here in japan

it cut so nicely

i used to have a cate shaped knife

it was so unique

and after that we bring the mix

i cooked it in the microwave for about 30 sec

and now let's mix eggs with sauce more

it's not solid at all

and after that we cover it

and we let it in the microwave until the eggs become half-cooked

5 min

the recipe said to cook it for 30 sec and mix it once

but i cook it for 5 min

i think after cooking for 5 min it's complete now

hay, like this

and now we add the crab sticks that we made our best to cut it

and i'll let a little bit for the topping

and after that we add sesame oil

and because i really like, i'll add plenty of sesame oil

jaan, i made today 7 cups of rice

and i'm going to top it with eggs

and crab sticks as well

and by adding the green onion...

the eggs is so jiggly and rich with the sauce flavor

it's so tasty especially with the aroma of the crab sticks

mmmmm

and i made today 1kg of miso soup as well

because the eggs is half cooked, i like it a lot

i was not sure about using the microwave at first but it was so easy

and the result is so good

the taste is moderate...

but it's so rich with flavors, and this is so good

this is so tasty

because the rice that i use recently is so tasty, this makes me so happy

this rice is really so soft and yummy

makes me eat huge amount of it

it really makes the taste of the dish better

mmmmmm

the weather is cold and i'm not wearing that much but i feel so hot because of the rice

i would feel really hot during summer, it's a tough period

the texture of the crab meat is so good and the flavor explode from it, and this is so tasty

using the real crab is so luxurious...

but the crab sticks is so convenient
