How Blueface Became A Viral Star | Genius News - Duration: 3:04.

TIA: Los Angeles rapper Blueface is taking over the Internet—whether you like it or not.

TIA: He's only been rapping for about a year, but his music videos for tracks like

"Thotiana" and "Respect My Crypn" have garnered millions of views and a lot of hype.

TIA: In early 2018, "Dead Locs" parts 1 & 2 helped him build a local following,

and in June he dropped his EP 'Famous Cryp.'

BLUEFACE: Deadlocs part 2 was going stupid the first day, really.

So I'm like yeah I gotta drop something else cuz they listening right now.

TIA: Blueface has been big in California for a minute, and he's had some local high schools

turnt up too.

BLUEFACE: I wanted to touch base with my fans.

And I just had everyone comment their city it wasn't even a high school thing at first.

People just kept putting their high school in there.

So from then on I just pulled up to that school and that's what really started it.

TIA: Eventually, clips of his music videos started going viral on Twitter, and then came

the memes.

BLUEFACE: If you get in and get out, they gonna wanna hear more.

If they wanna hear more they gonna have to go to that next song.

TIA: Part of what got him so much attention was his voice.

BLUEFACE: I usually write to the beat.

So really the beat could make the song itself whether you think I'm offbeat.

I made the song to the beat or at least the beat I was hearing, shit.

TIA: And that just seems to be Blueface's style.

TIA: His flow has been compared to Juvenile's on "Ha" in 1998…

TIA: ...fellow Californian, E-40's old joints…

TIA: ...And even the fast-paced, smooth-talking Southern Californian, Suga Free.

TIA: His standout track "Thotiana" has well over a million views, but he isn't

the first rapper to use the nickname.

TIA: "Thot" was popularized by a number of Chicago rappers in the early aughts.

BLUEFACE: I'm not gonna say I started the word.

Thotiana has been around as long as the word "thot" has been around.

Thotiana was just catchy.

TIA: According to our data, Blueface's pageviews on Genius have grown quite a bit this year.

TIA: From August to October, total pageviews of the "Thotiana" song page increased

by 78%.

TIA: Hate it or love it, Blueface's following continues to grow--and he seems pretty dedicated

to his career.

Why Not to Buy Snap-On Tools - Duration: 4:59.

tools are worth the price, no not really, a lot of times, you know everything is made

in different places, they were always decent tools but they were always overpriced too,

and with the internet now you can get tools much better prices just about anywhere,

you know their, it's just a deal that they travel to the mechanic's shops and so the

mechanics see it as an easy way to get tools they don't have to go anywhere and if they

do a lot of business with the guy they give him credit and of course there's an interest

on top of it and they make money off that too,

there's many other places you can get quality tools at a fraction of the price that snap

on charges for them, nascar 1998 says scotty what are your thoughts

volvo and they had a lot of volvo technology a they ride nice, they run nice, their pretty

there's a burning smell coming from the engine, can't see any smoke and the belt seems to

look good, 9 times out of 10 it's a leaking valve cover gaskets, when the valve cover

gaskets leak, then oil gets on the exhaust manifold and then you smell it, because it

gets on them, now a lot of times it won't even smoke, but the oil on the exhaust gets

hot and smelly and you can really see it so, what you want to do is, look at the valve

covers first and when you are looking for oil leaks, I got a video, finding and fixing

car oil leaks, it's a real easy thing, you get one of these uv leak dye kits for like

$25, you put the uv dye in the engine oil, run it around the block and then you put on

these funky yellow sunglasses the kit comes with and the uv light and when you see the

green dye leaking out you know what's leaking out, it will pinpoint any kind of leak in

any car, I'm always using them when I'm working on customers cars,

that one gamer says scotty I got a 302 v8 in my garage, I'm thinking about buying a

foxbody 4 cylinder and swapping it with a 5 liter should I go at it,

ok you know realize if you're going to swap it a lot of stuff has to be changed from a

4 cylinder to a v8, if you live in an area where to car is old enough and it doesn't

have emissions inspection, like here in Texas if it's more than 25 years old it doesn't

have to pass emission anymore, go right at it because it will be street legal, all it

has to do is pass the inspection for safety not for emissions,

so if that's the case, yeah a lot of guys will do that in Texas, but if you live in

a place like California where it's got to stick to emissions, it would be too much hassle

for you to make all the emissions for the v8 go for what the 4 cylinder has on it, I

mean it can be a real rats nest, like I say if you don't have to do the emissions test

go right ahead you could have some fun with it,

jones says hey scotty what are your thought on a 1985 pontiac fiero 2.5 iron duke with

a 5 speed manual, it has 80,000 miles, ok those are odd cars, some people love those

fieros, they like the way they look, their kind of an interesting wedge shape, and since

it's the 2.5 iron duke engine, it can last a long time, it's not a racing car,

you know they went to those iron dukes because before that they had those horrible aluminum

ones where the engines just ate the aluminum up and burnt oil like mad, but the iron duke

engines actually could last a long time, you know they were never all that popular

and they stopped making them, because they didn't have much horsepower, but it's a manual

transmission so at least you can get the most power out it that you can shifting it by hand,

and if you like the look of the car, just don't pay a lot of money if your buying one

because it will never be a true collectors item that's worth a bunch of money, it was

just an econo box car when it was made to make it look a little sporty, but if you like

it and it runs good, why not buy it, it can be a fun toy,

The Untold Truth Of Sister Wives' Kody Brown - Duration: 4:04.

Kody Brown's polygamist lifestyle is well-documented on his TLC reality show, Sister Wives.

But there are still secrets fans don't know about this notorious husband.

"So today we're gonna be lookin at clips of Kody and tellin' you all of his dirty little

secrets."

Fans can't help but wonder how Kody, a dad of 18 and a busy reality TV star, can maintain

intimate relationships with all four of his wives: Meri, Robyn, Janelle, and Christine.

"So hookin' up…"

"Sex…"

"It's like fourth base, or whatever fourth base means…"

"That's just nasty."

"There ya go."

"That's a homerun."

"Homerun, I mean."

But according to tabloid rumors that swirled in 2016, Kody wasn't doing the dirty with

all of his wives at that time.

In fact, an alleged insider claimed Kody was only getting busy with wife number 4, Robyn,

according to Life & Style.

Another source told Radar Online,

"The idea that the Browns are a polygamist family is laughable at this point…

It's just Kody and Robyn who are truly together."

Considering Kody has stated in the past that he rotates his time equally between wives,

these rumors might come as a bit of a surprise.

"I think that in order to keep our marriages strong, it's very important that we be forgiving."

Any fan of Sister Wives knows that Kody can come off as a very prideful guy, which is

why it's a bit of a shock that he allegedly begged TLC execs to renew the series for Season

12, despite poor ratings.

An insider alleged to InTouch,

"Kody told them he'd be willing to have the network slash his family's pay from $180,000

for each adult to $180,000 total if it meant they could make Season 12."

"You're not being responsible with how you're behaving."

"I don't think you're being responsible with how you're behaving."

Fortunately for Brown, his bargaining for one more season worked.

And despite reports of spiralling ratings, by March 2018, Sister Wives got the green

light again for its 13th season, according to the network.

It's safe to say reality TV isn't for the faint of heart.

Showcasing every aspect of your life can put you in a vulnerable position and subject you

to widespread criticism from fans, a downside Kody learned early on during the run of the

show.

In fact, Brown revealed that he almost quit the show following the initial backlash from

viewers.

"I literally had it in my head that we were gonna change the world by going public about

our plural marriage."

Brown, who has grown to love his job with TLC, made the surprising admission in 2015

during a Sister Wives: Tell All, with host Tamron Hall.

When Hall asked Brown if he ever "wanted to throw in the towel" on the series, he replied:

"Yeah, I literally started talking to the family the week after that aired.

I started talking about, 'How can we get out of this show?'"

Considering Sister Wives has since allowed the family to live a seemingly comfortable

lifestyle, it's wild to think Brown almost cut ties with the show.

initially fled Utah in 2010 to avoid prosecution under the state's strict anti-bigamy laws.

"Polygamy, in Utah, it's a felony."

According to In Touch, this legal drama was at the heart of the early seasons of Sister

Wives, and has continued on for years.

"If we stay, there's a potential that our dad could go to jail, and our family would

be split up."

Though the criminal case against the Browns was dropped in 2013, the AP reported that

the family had already filed a civil suit, challenging the constitutionality of Utah's

polygamy law.

"Our lawsuit was chosen not to be reviewed or heard, I guess, by the Supreme court."

Although the Browns never got their day in court, that hasn't stopped Kody from advocating

for other polygamy-related legislation.

In August 2018, Kody was slated to testify as "an expert witness" in a Utah domestic

violence case against his polygamist friend.

According to The Salt Lake Tribune, Kody's testimony would be to refute the assertion

that the polygamist church he attended is "patriarchal."

Kody didn't comment on the case at the time, but it's clear that he has a serious interest

in legalizing the practice of polygamy.

"There's a number that is too many, and you have to know what that is.

Adventures in Home Improvement #1 - The Brown Bathroom - Duration: 4:06.

So, this is the project that I've been working on for the past couple of weeks.

This is the brown bathroom. This was my aunt's house and she was a

smoker, and about ten years ago, she decided she wasn't gonna smoke in the

house anymore. And, unfortunately, it's always either really hot or cold in

New Orleans. Just really no in-between. So when it was too hot, she couldn't

go sit out on the porch to smoke, and when it was...you know...when wintertime

came around, being kind of elderly, she was cold whenever it got

below sixty degrees. So when we got into winter time, and those frigid 50 degree

evenings, she wouldn't go out on the porch to smoke. So she decided she was

gonna smoke in this bathroom. And she did that for 10 years with no ventilation

just a window open. But no forced air ventilation. No exhaust fan. And so this

is what happens to a closed room that's constantly being smoked in.

And this is where I'm at now and I'm not a painter I've never been good at, but I

think I did a decent job here. I've got some cleanup to do because I splattered

paint all over the place. Gotta clean up the edges a little bit but this is what it

looks like with a couple of coats of Killz, and a coat of exterior latex paint.

I'll put up new light fixtures. That really illustrates what the

cigarette smoke does. I'm going to get a new switch for that, and new switch plates

I guess I've still got a lotta cleaning up to do. This door right here is the closet,

and that's paint. This was originally painted white. That brown there is just

from years of cigarette smoke. And so I'm going to strip this door down. Just strip

all the paint off of it and repaint it. And then I'm going to do the door frame,

because I didn't do a very good job of that.

Another spot where you can really see. I'm going to do this door frame separately

also. I got this door down already

It's actually freezing outside right now. The temperature hit 30 degrees last night,

so I'm here at 5 o'clock in the morning just to turn on some heat and get the house

warmed up a little bit because I don't want

I don't want to have to worry about pipes freezing. Another thing I didn't do was

this vanity. This has to be completely painted because it also used to be

white. Not the marble countertop. I think it's always kind of a yellow color but

this is brown. You can see where something splattered on it here and liquefied the

nicotine and left some dark splatters.

That used to be the toilet paper holder, and it had kind of a flower design on the part

that covers up the screws

So this is what I've been doing when I'm not working on 504 Road Trips.

so I get tons and tons and tons of comments on all my like LGBT videos and

one of them was about coming out at an all-girls school and hell yeah I can

relate to that due to the fact that I went to an all-girls Catholic High

School I'm not bashing on anything not bashing on anyone um but coming out as

bisexual at an all-girls school was kind of a big struggle not because of my

friends that I had during that time not because of anyone really but because

myself and how scary it is to really come out at a school that is all girls

like imagine just being like hey I like girls and boys at an all-girls Catholic

school yeah it's not the best thing it's not the funnest thing but it happened

and here is my story so in about secondary 3 which is grade 9 I believe I

don't really know we do things a little different here but in grade 9 I knew

that I liked girls too- I knew that I liked boys and I knew I liked the girls but I

kept it like my mouth shut just because 1 I was fucking terrified 2 because

I was scared tell my parents 3 because I went to an all-girls school and I did

not know how my friends or anyone would have reacted to this information so in

high school I didn't tell many people I just come out to some people in high

school but I didn't come out to my parents or anything like that yet I only

really came out to them in college but coming out to people in an all-girls

school was scary yet thrilling yet relieving um there

was a few people that went to my school that I knew that they weren't completely

straight themselves so I evidently came out to them um this was okay um they

took it well just just the fact that like they also we're not completely

straight um so that was fine but then when I went to college a lot of the

people that went to my all-girls school followed well they didnt follow me but

like they all went to college too at like the same one and that's when it started

I had some people comment like ooh I don't know if I want to be friends

with her anymore just due to the fact like she likes girls too and I don't

know like we went to an all-girls school like did she look I mean just to do this

like to fuck no you aren't even my type um but I didn't really come out at an

all-girls school but I came out to some people at an all-girls school that

travelled to my college with me and information went back to my school but

clearly I don't give a fuck because I don't go there anymore

um but the thing is coming out ay an all-girls school can be scary like I

said you don't know who to tell you don't know who to talk to you don't know

if people are like not going to be friends with you anymore because they're girls

too this also applies to guys schools if you're if you're gay and or bi and you

go to an all guys school same information be sure to tell to people that you

trust be sure to tell people that you're confident be sure to tell people

that you know wont go tell everyone and be sure to tell the right people um coming

out in an all-girls school could be scary it could be hard it could be

different it could it's really different coming out at an all-girls school literally

made me shit my pants almost not literally but like shit my pants um I

was just scared because there's no one to really turn to they're all they're all

fucking girls um they're all girls going through God knows what's happening in

their mind there's too much drama in that place um there's girls that are

literally too stuck-up and confident about themselves that they think that

whoever the fuck is gay or bi is going to fucking fall in love with them which is

not true and then there's the girls that really don't care and those are the

people that you need to go talk to you that you need to befriend that you need

to tell if you want to tell anyone so this video might be trash because I

didn't really come out in an all-girls school but like I said my number one

lesson my number one advice or tip is to come out to the people that you know

that will not judge you will not leave your side will not put this against you

and will not think that you're gonna fall in love with them so yeah I don't

know if is helpful but if you have any questions just leave them in the
