불과 두 달 만에 훌쩍 커버린 아기 고양이들이 작아진 침대에 발을 빼꼼 내밀고 낮잠을 청하는 모습이 포착됐다.
최근 온라인 미디어 로켓뉴스24는 서로의 곁에서 한시도 떨어지지 않는 쌍둥이 고양이들의 귀여운 일상을 소개했다.
일본에 살고 있는 쌍둥이 고양이 아메리(Ameri)와 카누레(Canure)는 올해 2월 태어난 아기 고양이들이다.
아메리와 카누레의 주인은 두 녀석의 탄생을 축복하는 의미에서 조그마한 이케아 침대를 선물했다.
푹신하고 포근한 침대가 마음에 들었는지 녀석들은 눈이 살며시 감기기 시작하면 곧바로 침대 위로 올라가 잠을 청했다.
하지만 아메리와 카누레는 눈에 띄게 빠르게 성장했고, 곧 다리를 쭉 뻗으면 침대 밖으로 발이 나오는 상황에 처했다.
그럼에도 녀석들은 아기 때부터 사용한 침대가 주는 안정감을 포기할 수 없었는지 늘 좁은 침대 위에서 부둥켜안고 잠을 자곤 했다.
주인 또한 어느새 녀석들에게 한없이 작아진 침대를 보며 세월의 흔적을 느꼈고, 앞으로 다시는 돌아오지 않을 아메리와 카누레의 어린 시절을 카메라에 담았다.
이후 아메리와 카누레의 일상은 SNS에 공개돼 큰 인기를 끌며 수많은 팬들을 보유한 인기 스타로 거듭났다.
공개된 사진과 영상 속에는 지난 2월부터 올 11월까지 두 쌍둥이 고양이들의 귀여운 일상이 담겨있어 눈길을 끈다.
해당 영상을 접한 누리꾼들은 "진심 힐링 사진", "아 침대 사주고 싶다", "발 삐져나온 거 봐 완전 사랑스럽다", "심쿵이다" 등의 반응을 보이며 귀여워했다.

경기도에 거주하는 유기견 봉사자 정예름 씨와 동물보호단체에 따르면 태어난지 2개월 밖에 안된 믹스견 아기 강아지를 입양할 사람이 나타나지 않으면 된다.
길거리에서 배회하고 있던 아기 강아지는 유기견 봉사자와 동물보호단체에 의해 구조돼 현재 보호시설에서 지내고 있다.
아기 강아지가 키우던 주인으로부터 버림을 받았는지 아니면 어미견 뒤를 따라다니다가 길을 잃어버렸는지 현재로서 확인할 수 있는 방법이 없는 상황이다.
다만 분명한 사실은 입양할 사람이 나타나지 않을 경우 조만간 당할 위기해 처한다는 것이다.
현재 동물보호센터로 들어온 유기동물들은 10일 이내 주인이 찾으러 오지 않거나 새 주인에게 입양되지 않으면 대상이 되는 것이 현실이다.
수년째 유기견 봉사활동 중인 봉사자 정예름 씨는 인사이트 취재진과의 인터뷰에서 매회 급증하고 있는 유기동물에 대해 안타까움을 감추지 못했다.
그 이유에 대해 "유기견을 돌보는 사람이 있다는 이유만으로 그 지역에 버려지는 유기동물들이 늘어난다"며 "반려동물을 키우는 사람들이 늘어나면서 버림 받는 유기동물들도 늘어나고 있다"고 설명했다.
유기견 봉사자 정예름 씨는 또 "일부 경우 유기동물 입양에 대해 샵에서 분양받는 것과 달리 '돈이 안 든다'는 인식이 있어 입양을 너무 쉽게 생각하는 경향이 있다"고 실태를 꼬집었다.
애견샵에서 반려동물을 입양할 경우 분양비뿐만 아니라 기타 등등 비용이 발생하지만 유기동물을 입양할 경우 비용이 절감되기 때문에 일부러 유기동물을 입양하려는 경우도 있다는 것이다.
유기견 봉사자 정예름 씨는 "유기동물을 입양하시려는 분들께 경제적인 면이나 생활적인 면 등 여러가지 조건들을 따져 입양 절차를 밟고 있다"며 "하지만 일부는 사생활 부분이라고 하시면서 꺼려하시는 분들도 있어 어려움이 크다"고 고충을 털어놨다.
하지만 이보다 더 심각한 것이 있으니 유기동물을 키우겠다고 동물보호센터 등을 통해 유기동물을 입양했다가 도로 강아지 공장이나 개고기 시장에 내다파는 경우다.
유기견 봉사자 정예름 씨는 "실제로 유기동물을 입양한지 얼마 안돼 다시 팔아 넘기시는 분들도 있다"며 "입양 절차 밟을 때 그런 부분까지 꼼꼼하게 확인하려고 애쓰지만 사실 확인이 쉽지 않다"고 말했다.
끝으로 유기견 봉사자 정예름 씨는 "추운 겨울 따뜻한 사랑으로 아기 강아지를 입양해 키워주실 분을 애타게 찾고 있다"며 "태어나길 잘했다는 생각이 들 수 있도록 강아지의 가족이 되어달라"고 유기동물 입양에 작은 관심을 가져줄 것을 부탁했다.

It seems Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco's injury hasn't progressed the way originally hoped.
In turn, fans are likely going to see rookie first-round pick Lamar Jackson make his first NFL start in Week 11 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
ESPN's Jamison Hensley was the first to reveal the news.
This comes due to Flacco's lingering hip injury, which came to light prior to Week 10 and in turn, opened the door for Jackson to potentially start this game.
The Ravens are obviously high on Jackson after swinging a deal to trade up in the NFL draft and select him.
In three seasons at the University of Louisville, Jackson threw for 69 touchdowns and racked up an impressive 4,132 rushing yards and 50 touchdowns on the ground as well.
Jackson also saw extended work in the 2018 preseason as well, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing for three more, but completing just 50 percent of his passes over five games.
The struggles with accuracy are obviously a concern and something to monitor if he does draw the start.
Key Game for Ravens vs. Bengals.
The Ravens find themselves in a tough spot entering Week 11, losing three straight and four of their last five games.
In turn, they've fallen to 4-5 on the season and are looking up in the AFC North at both the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-2-1) and Cincinnati Bengals (5-4).
A win over the Bengals puts them right back on track in a push for the division title or at the very least a wild-card spot.
On the bright side, the Bengals have struggled against quarterbacks, allowing 2,911 passing yards and 21 touchdowns to the position this season.
They've also given up 183 rushing yards and three scores on the ground to opposing signal callers.

California wildfires continue to rage on, and although 63 people have died and tens of thousands more displaced due to the fires, that hasn't stopped some criminals from trying to take advantage of the chaos and loot burned and vacant homes.
California police have arrested several criminals already, including a man and woman who stole and entire mobile home after the occupants of the home evacuated.
Some celebrities are also threatening looters, warning potential criminals that some locals are prepared to "shoot on site," to protect their property.
"It's unfortunate that some people take advantage of others in a crisis," Carey Hart, motorcross legend and Pink's husband, wrote alongside a black and white photo of a dozen masked men cradling handguns and shotguns in front of a "looters will be shot on site P.D.C.

It is unclear if Hart was among the masked men.

"While the malibu fires have been burning, some locals have been fighting off and defending their property against the fires," he added.
"There have been sightings of looters breaking in to homes.
Well, if you are a looter, think twice if you are heading back into malibu.".
At this time, there have been no reports of anybody shooting at potential looters.
However, several arrests have been made of men and women found with property that didn't belong to them. The Butte County Sheriff's Office said in a news release that two arrests were made Monday and four more came Tuesday in three locations — Chico, Paradise and Butte Creek Canyon — all under mandatory evacuation due to the raging Camp Fire.

& Tracy Sizer Were Arrested For Stealing a Motor Home After The Owners Evacuated The Area.
A man and a woman from the Northern California town of Magalia stole someone else's motor home after the owner had evacuated, the Butte County Sheriff's Office said.
Officers on patrol in Chico on Tuesday spotted the motor home that had been reported stolen, and, after pulling the vehicle over, noticed the motor home had a "damaged" ignition and no key.
Shayne Tinnel Jr., 22, was at the wheel of the RV and Tracy Sizer, 42, was sitting inside when deputies stopped them Tuesday and arrested them, officials said.
They were charged with vehicle theft, possession of a stolen vehicle and looting.
Two More Arrests Were Made The Same Day – Teddy King & John Brown – After The Pair Was Found With a Stolen Laptop, Ski Masks & Drugs.
Teddy King, 27, and John Brown, 38, were arrested in Paradise, a town that was completely devastated by the Camp Fire.
At least 63 people were killed in and around Paradise, which was virtually incinerated by the blaze.
The pair were found with a laptop that did not belong to them, in addition to a ski mask, drugs, and drug paraphernalia, the sheriff's office said.
King and Brown were both arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into the Butte County Jail.
Two More Looters Were Arrested After They Were Found Hiding Out in an Empty House With Guns, Drugs & Stolen Tools.
Jason Burns, 41, and Michael Salisbury, 48, were found hiding in the bedroom of a home that belonged to a relative of Burns, according to the Butte County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office said that the pair were found with a handgun, drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, heroine and loaded magazines for the firearm.
Inside the garage of the home, police said they located an AR-15 rifle, in addition to several chainsaws and other tools suspected to be stolen.
Outside the home was an ATV that was also reported stolen, the sheriff's office said.
The pair were arrested and booked into Butte County Jail, where they are facing multiple weapons and controlled substance charges, and the investigation into the stolen property is "ongoing.

TURKEY... It's WAY more than we EXPECTED - Sailing A B Sea (Ep.043) - Duration: 17:02.
We are arriving in Turkey and it's just pretty it's really pretty. The
architecture is so different to the Greek architecture that we've just left.
Well here we are in Turkey it's Friday the 12th of October
we're in Bozburun, a little sort of harbour kind of marina-ish. It's beautiful
its charming it's absolutely gorgeous. Yeah. We're just about to have a stroll
around the town there's I don't know really what to ... words escaping me at the
moment because it's just all so different
yeah last we got here yesterday afternoon about 2:30-3 o'clock something
like that, checked in, got all our visa and paperwork sorted out easily very
easily using the agent that Mike knows It was 215 euros for the pair of us to
be have our paperwork administered by the agent and that included the Turkish
visa that we needed as well We're travelling on British passports
and we needed a Turkish visa so that all got handled by him and that visa gives
us three months stay in Turkey. We may or may not extend that we haven't made any
secure plans yet really our plan up until this point has been to get to here really
Yeah. So this this is a great little place easy to do stern to mooring here
it's only three metres deep in the middle of this harbour and
yeah it's it's very nice so we're gonna have a wander around town and take a
look at things. Yeah just do it
Just opposite where we are berthed here in Turkey is Osman's Place the
restaurant and we're eating here and drinking here on a daily basis. The cost
is very inexpensive compared to most of the European countries in fact we're
just about to go and have a full English breakfast and I'll have a liter of fizzy
water and Aannsha will have an Earl Grey tea because that's her requirement in
the morning. It will cost us 14 Australian dollars for both of us
to eat that and wait till you see the what the breakfast looks like. So we did say
we'd show you the breakfast mine's a full English and Aannsha's is a Turkish
And Osman's Place understanding the finesse of the English breakfast, does of
course have
HP sauce. If you do come here on the boat they've also got showers lovely hot
clean showers in there and yeah so it's great.
Tomorrow we leave here and take a
very short three-hour trip just slightly south and around the peninsula and so we
got the fuel guy here with his little truck and we're fueling up both boats so
Phil's getting his done first and he's estimated that he needs a hundred litres
we did a lot more sailing the motoring this time around so I'm estimating I
need 60 litres. It's a little game we play to see who's estimating their fuel correctly

Okay. So that was two hundred and forty seven lira for fifty five
liters of diesel off the top of my head I couldn't tell you what that is but
I'll put the stuff on the bottom of the video here converting it to Australian
dollars. Now I need to go and find somewhere where I can exchange more
euros for Turkish lira. Today is Sunday and we are leaving
Bozburun in Turkey and taking a very short trip just three hours down the
road to another little place but we're going to be tying up there stern to with
the added luxury of lazy lines ... that's going to be a bonus so I just got to get
the anchor up, Aannsha's going to take us out of here and it'll be a nice motor
there today because there's absolutely no wind at all of course it will be nice
and flat which means we can put our Gory folding prop in to use in
overdrive and get that fuel saving which is always good so yeah this has been a
great place we've loved it here been a great introduction to Turkey and now
we're going to explore a bit more.

We are about 25 minutes away from our destination, this camera won't pick it up
too well but just over here this headland and on top of the headland you
might be able to pick out some fortifications war fortifications. It's a
castle and it's better viewed from the other side where we're going to be
stopping and we're going to get the drone out and we're gonna fly the drone
but yeah quite excited about getting to this place and I think I mentioned that
tonight we are going stern to but they have lazy lines so that will make life a
heck of a lot easier looking forward to it

We've got a Gory folding prop which means on long runs you can actually put
it into overdrive and save diesel or go faster. To get it into overdrive you
basically put it into reverse and when you've got way over the prop then you
put it through neutral and into forward the problem is is when Barry is going
stern to and this puts the engine from reverse to forward to slow it down or
stop the boat the Gory prop goes into overdrive
it's kind of a bit of an issue anyway so I'm sure we'll be able to find a way
around that that works for us.
It's pretty special up here great views and imagine on a windy day you might get
blown away. Don't know when this place was built but just coming up here and
looking at it must have been a big structure when it was complete. I wonder how many
soldiers were housed here and for how long they had to stay on guard.
I'm going to the toilet and the boat is behind me I walked up the hill through the
restaurant and the toilet's up the hill just behind me.

Since we and our buddy boat arrived four more boats have pulled in luckily we got
in first because well we only we obviously got a nice spot but we also
managed to order five lots of lamb for dinner so that's what's on the menu
tonight. Looking forward to that
