so we got together and started looking at what he could do to bump his car
count and get I can't say instant results but get things started right
away remember I said he was you know in a
spot he was struggling it wasn't like he had the bailiff knocking at the door so
we went to work and here's you know what happened before I tell you what the
message was about let me tell you it sure a simple strategy that I used with
him and hopefully this will help you and a simple strategy is this number one
identify your low-hanging fruit number two go ahead and pick that fruit go
ahead and you know reap the rewards from that fruit number three make sure it's
repeatable and you do it month after month after month in essence I wanted to
build him a little car count machine so here's what happened
I got him to sit down and generate a simple report from his system and create
a list of all the customers that he has not seen from 90 to 180 days old so in
other words if you were a customer on his list and you had not been in his
shop for 90 to 180 days or you know from 3 to 6 months we generated a list and

that yes here was a list of people we had 256 people on the list so now we
just have to write the letter so the letters were personalized and it
basically said hey I was thinking about you the other day and realized it's been
a while since I've seen you I thought I'd write you this letter just to be
sure everything's okay nothing sales e there is it great letter went on to say
I was hoping you'd be able to stop by even it was just say hello and while
you're here I'm gonna offer you this crazy bribe now that's basically the
gist of the letter and it was just a simple letter nothing serious long story
short he was able to calculate all the revenues generated by that letter over
the last month he sends me a message this morning he's all excited that
letter generated four thousand six hundred and eighty dollars so my
question to you is would you invest that two hundred and fifty six dollars to
generate four thousand six hundred and eighty dollars worth of business I'm
thinking you probably would so the formula is simple identify that
low-hanging fruit which is generating a list of customers who you have not seen
from 90 to 180. Second go ahead and pluck that fruit
sending him a letter just like that hey I was thinking about you hope
everything's okay stop by and say hello and while you're

replenish this because every month you're gonna go into your records and
dig out the people who you have not seen from 90 to 180 days or somewhere in that

Hello and welcome to Pensions 101, a series designed to help you make sense of pensions.
Today we're going to talk about pensions and divorce.
Finances play a big part in divorce and your pension is no different.
A couple's pensions are usually included in any financial settlements alongside any other
assets.
To start, you'll need to find the total value of your pensions including any personal and
workplace pension pots.
Once you know the total value of your pots, you have a few options for splitting your
pension.
First of all, you can share your pension.
This means that one person can take a percentage share of their ex's pot immediately.
This separates the pension into two pots.
Each person can then continue to save into their own individual pot.
Each person can then decide whether they want to stay on the existing scheme or transfer
to a new scheme.
Another option is pension offsetting.
This is where you use the value of your pension to offset other assets.
For example, one person might take the entirety of the pension while their ex takes a larger
share of another asset, like a shared property.
If you choose to offset a pension, remember to plan ahead to make sure that you'll have
enough money for retirement.
A third option is obtaining a pension attachment order.
This means that when one person starts to take their pension, their ex is paid a share.
Finally, you can take a deferred lump sum or deferred pension sharing.
These options are not available in Scotland.
A deferred lump sum is where one person receives a lump sum when their ex retires.
Deferred pension sharing is usually used when there is a significant age gap between each
person.
If one person is already drawing a pension, their ex can delay taking their share of the
pension until they reach retirement age themselves.
Be aware that if you live in Scotland, only the pension amount saved during marriage will
be counted for the split.
Pension claims can be made at any time after the divorce, until your financial settlement
has been formally agreed.
In order to make a financial settlement legally binding, your solicitor needs to draw up a
consent or court order.
This order then needs to be approved by the court.
Once the order is finalised, no more claims for money can be made.
Different rules apply for the state pension.
Remember that pensions are an investment.
As with all investments, the value of your pot can go down as well as up over time.
Your capital is at risk.
Sorting your finances during a divorce can be messy.

We decided to go with Cambium, because earlier solutions failed to provide the level of service that we needed.
We tried to multiply the number of our AP's several times, we didn't reach significantly higher bandwidth results.
And after a point this approach became useless.
We purchased our first Cambium sector in a set with 3 CPE's and the software has seen many upgrades ever since,
which we can experience in the increased bandwidth and the higher quality service.
We are using the GPS synch on all base stations. I think this is a must have in todays modern networks.
Our sectors are deployed in the classical back to back configuration that's advised by Cambium,
using "A" and "B" frequencies which utilzes the same frequency and channel size
at the same time, in a very efficient way.
All base stations come with an Elevate license which we can use any time.
The Elevate software makes it possible to connect CPE's from other vendors to a Cambium base station.
It also supports the GPS synchronization.
The clients can be easily upgraded remotely over the air with a 3rd party software
Which makes it (also) possible to use our legacy M5 series equipment from Ubiquiti with our Cambium AP's.
This works also wit devices that have a digitally signed firmware.
In essence the legacy unit becomes a Cambium CPE after the firmware upgrade.
We are saving lot of money and time by integrating the existing old equipment to the brand new AP's.
With Elevate, we can immediately see the difference in radio communication and data transmission quality.
We could reach 31 Mbps aggregated throughput between a Rocket M5 and it's CPE with the earlier configuration,
while we could reach 87 Mbps aggregated throughput between a ePMP 1000 and the same old CPE using Elevate firmware.
Ping times are straightened out, and the legacy equipment is now part of the Cambium system.
We purchased the licenses from AccessPoint Kft,
Licensing has a specialty: the clients can be upgraded with Elevate without any restrictions
The license procedure is happening in the AP's.
Cambium Networks offers two types of licensing: The first one is the so called Offline License
where we have to upload the purchased licenses directly into the AP,
so this AP can serve as many Elevated clients as many licenses we have uploaded.
The other solution is the License Pool, which handles all AP's managed by cnMaestro as one,
and it will let as many Elevated clients on these AP's as many licenses we have in the License Pool.
It is very important, that in case we use the License Pool than the AP's need to have a continuous web connection
so they can connect to the Elevate license server which than can check how many licenses does the network use.
Cambium Networks has truely elevated the wireless market to the next level with this solution:
we can use the old legacy equipment basicly as a new device which offers higher bandwidth and robust internet service.

with the SideKick in the 3rd generation
which improves the turn initiation,
an extra float on powder
and also for a better handling in rough terrain.
There's an update of the wood core,
which is a lighter one,
implemented with bi-axial fiberglass, so called carbon stringers in between the bindings
which provide a lighter board
and more power.
Additionally we got carbon placements
centered, two layers build
which are going to help you to ride the board with the maximum power output.
