to reuse the panettone box first, he reports on a sheet of

23일 국내 동물보호단체 유엄빠(youumbba)는 인사이트 취재진과의 통화에서 "덕구가 생명의 고비를 넘겼다"고 근황을 전했다.

덕구는 지난 10일 전라도의 한 가정집에서 염산 혹은 뜨거운 물로 추정되는 화학물질에 테러를 당해 흘리고 있는 모습으로 발견되었다.

사연을 알린 주민은 "2살 짜리 강아지가 짖는다고 지나가던 사람이 해코지를 했다"고 설명해 충격을 더했다.

이후 심각한 염증을 앓은 덕구는 갈림길에 섰으며, 지난 19일에는 덕구가 네 발의 70%를 절단하는 수술을 받았다.

동물보호단체 유엄빠는 병원비를 후원받아 수술을 무사히 진행했으며, 덕구의 상태를 알렸다.

다행히 최근 덕구의 상태가 한결 좋아진 것으로 알려져 지켜보는 이들의 마음을 한결 가볍게 만들었다.

유엄빠 측은 현재 덕구가 제 발로 일어설 수 있게 되었으며, 혼자 힘으로 밥을 먹고 변을 보게 되었다고 전했다. 또한, 빈혈수치도 적게 나마 좋아졌다.

또한 많은 누리꾼들이 힘을 보태 덕구를 도왔다며, 소고기, 기력 회복에 좋은 북어국을 보내준 이들에게 고마움을 전했다.

다만 덕구의 고생이 끝난 것은 아니다. 의료진은 덕구의 수술 부위에 살이 차오르지 않는다면 다시 잘라내는 수술을 해야 한다.

또한 의료진들은 앞으로 2달간 입원치료를 받으면서 수술을 최소한 2회 더 받아야 할 것이라 전했다.

유엄빠 측은"범인이 잡히면 법적 책임을 묻겠다"면서도 "현재 동물보호법으로는 범인이 실형을 받을 확률이 낮다. 이번일을 계기로 동물보호법이 강화됐으면 좋겠다"고 전하며 안타까움을 더했다.

이어 "2개월이 지나면 덕구도 퇴원할 것이다. 퇴원 후 사랑으로 보살펴줄 새로운 입양처를 찾으려고 한다"고도 밝혔다.

It's safe to say Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had a successful first NFL start in Week 11.

Although some weren't exactly in love with the fact that the rookie quarterback had more rushing attempts than passes thrown, it worked out in the end.

The Ravens topped the Cincinnati Bengals in a crucial AFC North game 24-21.

Now, it seems Jackson is set to start his second career game in Week 12 when the Ravens play the Oakland Raiders.

As ESPN's Jamison Hensley revealed, starter Joe Flacco sat out practice again Friday due to a hip injury.

With this being the case and Jackson posting a solid stat line last week, he finds himself squarely in the mix as a fantasy football option.

We're going to break down whether the Ravens signal-caller is a name to start or sit in Week 12, one which is likely a big one for many fantasy players with playoffs approaching.

Should You Start or Sit Lamar Jackson?.

In short, I have no problem looking at Jackson as an option in quite a few fantasy leagues for a variety of reasons.

Although he didn't throw (or rush) for a touchdown in his first start, the upside as a runner gives him an incredibly high floor.

He tallied 26 rushing attempts last game for 119 yards while completing 13-of-19 passes for 150 yards.

Considering Jackson had roughly 14-16 fantasy points (depending on your league's scoring) when he didn't find the end zone and threw for just 150 yards, there's a lot to be excited about.

His upside is a big selling point, and if he manages to find the end zone even once against a poor Raiders defense, he'll be in for a big fantasy day.

The Raiders have been poor against opposing quarterbacks, allowing 2,460 yards and 23 touchdowns this season.

In turn, Jackson becomes an option in all fantasy leagues with 12 teams or more, but it largely depends on your other options at quarterback this week.

Eric Berry Injury: Could Chiefs Safety Practice Soon? | Heavy.com

The last year and a half have been rough for Kansas City Chiefs star safety Eric Berry.

After going down with a heel injury during week one of last season, Berry has yet to take the field for any games, or even practice.

As surprising as it sounds, Berry may practice for the first time this season, as we wrap up Week 12 after Monday' game next week.

The Chiefs haven't been very informative with Berry's injury this season.

Week after week, they threw out the word of a potential return coming soon, but the team wouldn't put an official timeframe on his return.

Finally, we could see some positive progress though.

According to Sam Mellinger of the Kansas City Star, Berry is expected to return to practice next week to prepare for Week 13's matchup against the Oakland Raiders.

Don't count on him getting back onto the game field right away just yet though, the Chiefs are still taking baby steps.

While Berry will more than likely practice, he will still be doubtful for the Week 13 matchup.

When Will Berry Return?.

Still, the Chiefs won't say when Berry will return to game action, but they are pretty much sure that it won't be next week.

Right now, the Chiefs are in a win-win situation with Berry.

As they are in first place, they don't need Berry to return in order to stay at the top of the AFC, since they are still a dominant team without him.

However, when the Chiefs do get Berry back, it fills a much-needed hole in their game on defense.

Even though the Chiefs are one of the NFL's best teams, they still have a weakness, and apparently, Berry will be the answer to their problems in the secondary.

Now, the Chiefs look like geniuses for holding him out for all of this time, rather than rushing him back.

So, don't expect to see Berry playing next week, but know that he will surely be a part of the late-season stretch, and will lead the secondary for the Chiefs playoff run that will be clinched any week now at this point.
