First thing in the morning, coffee.
It's gotten colder, but I must have it iced.
milk
Waking up with the coffee
Simple salad for breakfast
Rinse the salad greens under running water and remove water.
I've been enjoying these easy portion-sized salad packs.
bacon
Add white balsamic vinegar and olive oil; toss lightly with chopsticks.
tomato
grana padano (cheese of choice!)
Tada, bacon salad is done.
This is my recent go-to recipe.
Chicken breast will do instead of bacon!
I changed my bedding for autumn! *so proud*
Grilled cheese for lunch
butter
bread
cheddar cheese
Toast both sides until golden brown.
Anything tastes amazing fried in butter!
Making some tea to go with the sandwich.
I'm going for Rooibos Orange.
Simple, yet delicious combo. This is the best!
Maybe should've added one more cheese slice.
The grilled cheese from lunch got me crave spicy food, so kimchi-jjigae for dinner.
kimchi (My mom made it last year. It's delicious!)
With good kimchi, kimchi-jjigae is bound to be good. Good kimchi is the key.
Pork cuts for stew
pepper
Fry the pork in a pot.
Add kimchi and keep frying.
Add rice water or water and cook on low heat until kimchi is soft.
green onion
tofu
5 eggs
salt and pepper to taste
Roll the egg using chopsticks when the beaten egg is 90% cooked.
Let it cool for a minute and cut into bite-sized slices.
Egg roll, done!
Cook equal parts soaked rice and water in a pot.
Bring to boil on high heat and simmer for 15 min on low.
When the rice is cooked, turn off the heat and keep the lid closed for 15 min.
Season the kimchi-jjigae with dark soy sauce. I added red pepper flakes for extra heat.
Lastly, add tofu and green onion, bring to a boil and serve.
A friend came over.
It's been a while since I last had such a full dinner table.
Tangerines for dessert.
Testing donut recipes (Maybe uploading it next week)
Beer... the eating never ends...
