LADA 2114 from Murmansk with music by LOUD SOUND - Duration: 14:15.Tigran!
What the fcking heck is this?
You just received that video with the Novorossiysk car, and you go and put up this snake party all over again?
You got a wire out. It's just falling out. The monoblock's numb, and we need to get on with this video.
Who hooked this up?
The wiring?
This is no fcking Loud Sound.
Hey, everyone. We're having a usual review of a usual car today.
From a very unusual location.
We had one car from Murmansk already, tho.
It was one Volkswagen Touareg.
This is the second farthest car. The runner-up. The farthest one was from Shushenskoye, just recently.
It is in Krasnoyarsk kray. The guy drove 4,500 km (2800 mi)
And this car came 3,500 km, if I got it right.
And even more. The owner went to past us to the seaside, right?
Then they came back to us. It's been, like, - what? - like, 2 weeks since we've put the sys together.
And this time was the testing drive-in time. The system works okay. Went down to safety mode only once.
even though the predictions were plenty of fall-offs.
The arrangement is quite regular, however the components are rather rare and hi-end.
For mid-bass, for example, we have Italian 8NMB420. Those are some kickass mid-bass speakers.
They are very expensive, with tons of patented stuff in them
There was about 5 things patented for those speakers' schematics.
They hit it perfectly well for both lower-mid range and the very middle frequencies.
But we have chopped them quite heavily on the top so that they splash it harder in the lower range.
On the bottom, they're filtered off at 80 Hz, and they play up to some serious business mid-bass.
Like all the other components, there is a pair of these. In the doors, we got a complete doubled 3-way.
On the upper side, in the middle frequency range, to be precise, these are backed up by 6ND410 mid-ranges,
the very legendary Violets.
They are extremely loud. I guess they are THE loudest mid-range speakers on the market eligible for car use.
They have been massively cloned over time.
Tweeters are not Italian.
Let's call it Chitaly. Those are Alphard T-35. Not bad ones.
And they never burned, like everything else in here. Even though they are fed some big time power.
All the other hardware goes by Alphard.
For the sub, we have Deaf Bonce's 153, the lower line subwoofer that has seen some sht.
This is not that sub's first car. And the quality of sound is quite nice for the money.
And all the amps are Deaf Bonce, as well.
One Deaf Bonce 2K for the sub I've mentioned, and two counts of DB 180.4 for the mid-range and the mid-basses
What's noteworthy is that the DB feeding the mid-bass speakers has a double bridge arrangement.
The owner asked for it. I'll be honest I never dug this idea.
But he turned out to be right. There never was a fall-off. Unless he is hiding something from me.
You can imagine the kind of power this very strong AB-class amp gives out with two bridges on it.
Each bridge works at 4 Ohms.
The 8's, the mid-bass speakers in the doors, are parallelled.
They are 8 Ohms, each, but with parallell circuit arrangemet, we get 4 Ohms.
Gotta say the control remained quite manageable.
What I hate about bridges most is that you lose control over the speaker and you can't make it work at its top power.
Many think, the more ower the easier. But that's not always the case.
Sometimes it's uncontrollable power. And the speaker gets clipping.
And you get the opposite of what you need. You struggle with turning the volume up,
and you're limited in the way your speaker starts exceeding the drive the moments you need it least
In here, we seem to have found the golden mean, but I still believe we would've pulled out more power
if we favored the channel-on-channel arrangement over the bridged one. But this is enough for you, right?
This is one hack of a sound.
For the feed, we have 3Excide batteries.
One 75-er under the hood, and two 95's in the trunk.
To back the batteries up, there is the stock alternator for 115 A.
We decided not to replace it. And gotta say it, it's enough for the system.
The minimal power loss on the way, no lower than 12.1 A with the engine off, correct?
Under the hood we have this sports beam that kicks hte HP count up by 18 horses.
There's a turbine here, 16 V.
It's all the regular stuff, pretty much. Snakeskin, heat shrink. No need to show that closely.
This is a good thing, see? It's quite convenient hiding wring in it.
Like a cable harness.
Gotta also note that apart from being 16 V the engine comes from a Lada 2112.
So we got a swap kkind of thing going on here. A '14 with a '12's engine.
And the kick is unreal, right?
Does it go 120 at least?
Here, we have the most legal tanning I've ever seen. It's on magmets, look! Convenient.
They stop you, and you're like - whoop! - What tanning?
The doors turned up reasonably heavy.
All the control organs remained in place. We can open it, and lift the window from here.
The electric drive for the mirrors is still here, too.
This is a '09-er tuning, huh?
The covers are donewithout any flaws, and they house everything they were supposed to house.
On the rear seatback, we have the DB 2K amp sitting. There's anothr sports beam. Plus 18 HPs more.
The wiring is very carefully laid.
Aren't they just perfect? Now, Tigran knows neat. Well, this is a covert element of the install.
This is pretty hardcore. And if you're gonna troll anything, here you go. Knock yourselves out.
4 lays, 75 sq each, are laid to the back. That was a challenge.
And here's the 153 sub. It's seen some shit already. You can see how strong the lip is.
Must've hit against something pretty badly in the previous car.
And under the raised floor, we got all the amps and batteries.
Two 4-channel amps, and a 2-chalnnel one
The HU is our fav, Pioneer 80. Let me show you the settings now.
On idle, we see 12.8 V which is a good figure.
The subwoofer is clipped at 50 Hz. I just did it now. Used to be cut at 63 Hz.
If, let's say, there's not enough humming, we can raise the clip.
The mid-bass speakers arestarting at 80 Hz, as I've already mentioned.
Sometimes we even go down to the third order. At the moment, we have the fourth on.
So they are playing pretty low range.
On the top, this band is clipped at 5 KHz.
And further on, the tweeters kick in.
The latter start up at 8 KHz. You must be wondering what's between 5 and 8 KHz.
'Number experts' always do that.
If we clip a band at 5 KHz, it does not mean that there is silence after 5 KHz. It starts slowly fading.
If we have a frequency responce hump between 5 and 8 KHz, setting like this does not remove it
but rather makes it quieter.
So it's not uncommon that you even need to clip it at 4 KHz. So never trust these numbers.
Many think that if this one's clipped at 5 KHz, and the next band kicks in at 8 KHz, there's silence in between.
Which is wrong.
The HU, let me remind you, is on top of the middle sector. It has no analogues.
There's only the Pioneer 99 better, and the cost is thrice as high there.
The 580 is worse, and it's twice as cheap.
And in the middle, there are no substitutes with neither Pioneer nor competitors.
So if you can't afford a Pioneer 99, and you want something that's better than a 5-10 K rub worth processor HU,
Pioneer 80 is your best bud. At the moment, the cost is around 20-24 K rub.
It has almost the full package. Bluetooth, time delays, a well'developed Xover.
I keep forgetting if it reads FLAC. I feel like it doesn't, right?
That's too bad. Everybody loves flac. You only listen to flac, don't you.
Btw, we've been uploading setup CDs in .flac on loudsound.ru in the Downloads section.
People have been asking about it. There's EMMA, there's AMT, there's Focal.
And we're gonna add more so we end up with a collection of setup CDs in the highest quality possible.
For the most exquisite ears, there will even be HiRes tracks.
And there will even be CDs with not just music but special tracks created to help you set time delays,
tonal clarity, stage width, stage depth etc.
We got carried away a pinch. Gotta turn that tonal clarity on and time delays now.
Coming up in a sec. We'll play some now.
Tigran!
What the fcking heck is this?
You just received that video with that Novorossiysk car, and you go and put up this snake party al over again?
You got a wire out. It's just falling out. The monoblock's numb, and we need to get on with this video.
Who hooked this up?
The wiring?
This is no fcking Loud Sound.
Yeah, well, unfortunately we can't show you the bass because--
Yeah, this is an '09. To reach something here, you need to open, then open again, and open some more.
So a wire here fell off. This wasn't done by Loud Sound, bc Loud Sound don't do it like this, right, Tigran?
Someone forgot something and failed. I'm sorry, pal, but I'm showing this.
Because this needs to be shown.
That's why we're listening to the front only. Although we could stub it in nice and easy.
And turn on the sub set with a firework of sparks here.
But we're not gonna do that.
We'll have to kick up the power for the mids.
So if the mids burn, it's all on Tigran.
You don't even need the subs! It's okay without it.
For your understanding -- With the engine off, huh? It's just when this meter shows 1 irl it's 0.
And 2000 is 900.
[O]: We can start it.
Right.
The feed is there.
Well, the project turned out nice. Tigran did a great job.
And crappy at the same time.
The wiring is a bummer. I mean, we gotta troll ourselves when failures like this pop up. No other way.
From now on, I'm gonna look specifically for flaws. If I can't find one flaw, then the job is done well.
[O]: There is some kickass playing footage, btw. Misha did some.
Right, sure. Misha Moskalenko already made a review of this car. Check out his review.
A bit of a promo for Misha. Hey, man, bring some wine... Just kidding! Don't!
You ask Misha to bring wine as a joke, and then that's no way back. Everyone gets hammered.
'cuz he brings like a tank of it.
That's al, guys. This was LOUD SOUND. You know what to do and whom to subscribe
Bye, everyone. Live LOUD.
Wait a sec. Let the car pass.
I got some tan already.
And you're fresh off the seashore, right? You're got used to this.
Clones, copycats, knock-offs.
Another car.
And here's just the time to troll my sweaty shirt. Oh, wait. I'm gonna sweat even more in a moment.
6ND410, mid-range speakers.
Fcking shit!
This is not a good setting we've picked.
Gotta note the alternator is enough for the sys. The power loss is mini-- fcking flies!
The HU is - let me remind you - one of the most --
The H--
The H-- Holy fck! What's with my face?
There's a snake party going on here. There must've been too many wires -- FCKING FLY!
Shit! And they bite!
Many think the more the power the louder you can get you system to play. Screw your guts, man!
Gotta do another take. This bike was one fck too loud, right?

Joe Quadrilatero, Department of Kinesiology - Duration: 1:29.Throughout our life damaged structures build up in our cells. In healthy cells
we're able to remove and recycle these damaged structures through a process
known as a autophagy. If this process does not work properly, disease can develop.
My name is Joe Quadrilatero and I'm a researcher in the department of Kinesiology.
If we can understand how and why cells die we can develop better
strategies to keep ourselves healthier ultimately by keeping ourselves
healthier and preventing them from dying we can potentially prevent and treat
diseases as well as slow down the aging process. In the department of Kinesiology

Sunday Vlog: Hill Park & Del Frio Meetup - Duration: 12:10.hello everyone
so it is yet another Sunday
and we are going to hill park
ah so basically
on Sundays u go to the hill park or u go to the beach
if it is a monsoon season
and well
a funny story that happened yesterday
was i twisted my own wrist
like this one
and that's why i had to go and put brufen on top
and now i can not do anything with this so
that's why my hair are all like this
and thanks to my hair my hand got twisted
ya i actually forgot that when my hair get
to a certain length
so i really have to get them cut because
otherwise my neck hurts, my back hurts,
and my wrist actually gets twisted too many times.
the only thing sad is that there is
a lot of
garbage
and all and somehow i dont know
why they don't clean it up
and ammi jaan is very sad about it
momo aap ko dukh hua hai?
haan buhat dukh hua hai iss kadar gandagi hai
and look they are drinking water
that is dirty so ya thats sad
abu jaan is trying to pick this rock
kisi nay uthaya hi nahi
tu aap daikhain andar hi woh ho gaya
wara issi ko wapis laga daitay
hmm
ok lets go
acha this is the park
and this is the view
the trees are very beautiful and unique over here
the shapes of the trees are very nice
and there is me walking
actually im filming with my iPhone
so i dont know how the quality is going tobe
also i'm pretty sure its going to be
very shaky
and i told u guys i just
twisted my wrist last night
just because of my hair
actually i decided to workout and
ya this is the reason why i always get my hair short
i went to the kitchen and i told ammi jaan
amma i just twisted my wrist
and she was like
this shows your bones are weak
so this is also a thing
so abhi hum kis tarf jain gay ammi?
woh uppar
chalin lets go
oh look there is a gulahri
also u can see the entire Karachi from here
which is kinda cool
so its a bit dirty dirty
but oh well thats how we live
i used to climb all the way on this one
like that one and i use to stand up on top of it
i still remember
as a kid
when our parent's used to go like
its a workout so we used to do it
and anything for that matter
be it swings, be it any household work
umm
any given day
our parents used to tell this that this is
going to build up your muscles
so we used to go
like yes
and we used to do that work
so ya those are just small little things that
we used to do
from here
if u look down
so u can see the entire Karachi
apparently
which is highly populated now
and we are back
so um
later today i have to go and meet a friend
and the main issue is that
i dont know how i will
u know
make my hair because i usually make
my hair with my like using my left hand
and the problem is that its not fine it's hurting
so bad
its really hurting a lot
also i wanted to show u guys this thing
so its not complete
i actually went and got this organizer
and i had to fix it actually
so right now u can
see these two
umm
body creams
but i'll make a stand for this
and then i also have to fix this
i dont know what happened
when i got it it was like this
so thats a bad thing
so its like a jewelry organizer
so i kept my bangles in it and basically these all are
bracelets and u know the stuff i like to wear
and i had to fix them like i had to rearrange
them
because it was not
umm
the way i liked it to be so ya it just closes like that so
had to fix it but i just wanted to show u
guys that was doing this diy
also the other day
we were out shopping
and something abbu jaan got me
u can see a barbie doll over there
is this
she has long hair i'll open it up
then ill show u guys
and ammi jaan was laughing at that time
so she was like
oh my god
u are so
big and u still like barbie dolls
and i was like
yes
so umm
actually i think she resembles me
amma she resembles me?
haan
so ammi thinks she does resemble me
but i dont know she has really really hair
hmmm
also
this swing happened
it was
something that ammi jaan wanted
but
actually
now its
my favorite place to be
so i sit over here
sip my kawa, tea,
and
water most days
because i love water
so ya thats also a thing
this is something that amma jaan did
she diy this
like this
these are cds
and ya it just is very magical and
its very pleasant when u look at it so ya
so i'll see u guys in a bit
let me show u guys my outfit
so my cab is just about to arrive
but i just wanted to say
does this happen with u guys like you
say Khudafiz to your parents and they go like
why are u going?
so this happens with me
and i always go like i will be back
so
ya let me know
and
that is all
i hope
i guess its here so
i'll see u guys later
hello
so i am back
and it was a very
nice
day
and a very well spent time
i could not vlog a lot because the thing is that
del frio somehow has very loud music
so
but its a very nice place and i am so happy to
meet ayesha
after months because i was not here
then i came here
and then Ramadan happened
so ya
i met her
and it was really really nice
wait
let me come over here
so it was very
nice and actually she liked the
gift a lot
but the thing is that
i actually gifted her
a size
that is bigger on her
so thats a thing
so she will have to alter it up :(
my lip color is basically
cha cha by benefit
u know the lip tints
so its that
and
ya
so i think so abbu jaan is here
so i will catch u guys later
also i wanted to show u guys
it's a bit like that but
this is the perfume that i wore today and i really
love this one
its flora by Gucci
and its one of the best ones i actually
umm im almost out of it
so if ever u want to gift somebody something
and u are like this person is very nice
and is very dear to me
so give that person
this perfume it is
it smells like very nice flowers
but its a bit
spicy,
floral
salty i dont know
but its something like that actually i really
have to clean my room like anything
so ya
so it is that but its a very good perfume
also
last thing is that
umm
it is so nice to actually meet ur friends
and ayesha is
my college friend
she is a gem of a person like
ayesha is that one person who is very
pure at heart
and
i mean she is amazing
she's just amazing
she is one of
those people who
u do want as ur sister or somebody who is
just ur twin
so ya i think so ayesha is that
to me
she's not my best friend
because she already i guess she has a best friend
and ya
best friends are u know
something that we all used to have as kids
i guess
i never had one as a kid as well
but ya
umm
so that is something that i wanted to share
and like azaan is happening
so ya i'll catch u guys later
i tried my level best to bring u guys
in my day and
take u guys along everywhere
i could not film a lot
at del frio
but it was amazing
to meet my friend
and we spent a very good quality time over there
so take care of yourself
and take care
of all the people
who love u dearly
and
who u love dearly
as well
god bless u all
RAB RAKHAA guys
RAB RAHAA girls
and ya my wrist is going tobe
alright pretty soon so ya
bye

HEIGHTENED SENSES: WHY I SHRED | CARA MILLS - Duration: 2:54.Female Siri Voice: 'Heightened senses: Why I shred.'
Siri do you have any ideas for me?
Siri: 'This is about you not me.'
I think most ideas I come up with a really rubbish.
And I think that's why this work came about.
I'm just interested about ideas as a form.
What makes a good idea, what makes a bad idea? Could a bad idea be a really good idea?
I have ideas all the time.
There's nowhere special that I go to write
that I kind of just think about things or observe things and come up with different ideas.
They're just of all a stream of consciousness
Siri what's the best idea generator?
I find myself often harvesting and collecting ideas that I'm inspired by online.
Shredding them allowed me to get all of these ideas
from the internet into a physical space.
I feel like I've created an ecosystem where I've turned my digital ideas into something tangible,
which are then put back on to the online platform for other artists
to be inspired by.
I sought comfort knowing that all of my ideas were going to be in an amongst the same pile,
with no better or no worse idea.
That's why I shred

How Call Centers Made Us Hate "How May I Help You" Phrase? - Duration: 6:03.In today's world, we take it for granted that we can connect with people all over the
country and even around the world.
It's a salesperson's dream.
But big businesses were able to do this before the digital age, thanks to a thing we love
to hate; the call centre.
Call centres are synonymous with unwanted intrusions, infuriating wait times and a Kafkaesque
nightmare of bureaucracy, where you are bounced from operator to operator, never getting the
answers you need.
But is this an accurate reflection or just a stereotype?
Today, we're going to look at the history of call centers and how they grew after an
innovation by Rockwell International.
We'll see the benefits they offered customers, how public opinion changed over the years
and we'll finish with a few examples of how they are used well in the modern world.
Let's jump into it!
When the first telephone systems appeared, operators would have to manually move wires
around, in order to connect a call.
And when businesses adopted the phone, they would need their own operator to pass the
incoming calls around the building.
If you only have one incoming number, there was a hard limit on the volume of calls you
could process.
Rockwell International likes to claim they created the first ever call centre, but in fact
this isn't true.
It's hard to really pin down a true first, since there were so many small steps before the
call center was actually invented, but it's often said to be a UK organisation called
Birmingham Press and Mail, back in 1965.
A team of agents sat in rows of desks and they took calls through a private automatic
branch exchange, a piece of electronic equipment that could automatically connect external
callers with various internal extensions, so you could deal with multiple calls to a
single number.
You'd still need an operator to manage calls but it could be done much faster as they weren't
physically moving the wires around.
But it was when Rockwell created an automatic call distributor or ATC when things substantially
moved forward.
They invented it for Continental Airlines, who wanted to replace human operators and
greatly increase their call capacity.
They had asked AT&T but the phone giant told them it would take 8 years to create the type
of system they wanted so Continental turned to Rockwell.
The system went live in 1973 and the benefits to Continental were obvious from the beginning.
Now, customers wouldn't need to go into branches to deal with issues and check information,
they could do it easily on the phone.
And with the ATC, customers would be dealt with quickly and efficiently, keeping them
happy and keeping wait times low.
So, almost every major company followed suit, building call centres across the world.
And the technology kept on coming.
Touch tone phones gave customers an input method so they could answer automated questions
at the start of the call, making it easier to manage their customer service experience.
Interactive voice responses were giving people information like their bank balance, all the
way back in the 70s.
And 1-800 numbers greatly increased the number of people calling in since they didn't have
to bear the cost themselves anymore.
However, although all this innovation helped grow the capacity of call centres, customers
became increasingly frustrated by the interactions with automated services; listening to long
recorded messages, typing out codes on their touch dial phone, crying in annoyance when
they got cut off again.
To save money and cut down on that issues the next step was outsourcing, where, for
English speaking customers at least, they would call in and discover they were talking
to an agent in India, China, Eastern Europe, South America rather than their own country.
This created a lot of communication problems, partly because of accents but also due to
a lack of cultural knowledge, such as local geography, local businesses and so on.
The training manuals also forced a lot of these customer service personnel to stick
closely to a script which led to even more frustration.
When you combine this with the growth of cold-calling from telemarketers in the 90s and early 2000s,
it's no surprise that call-centres became hugely unpopular with the general public.
That led to a huge backlash with the invention of do not call lists and a lot of different
products that were invented to stop spam callers.
So, where are we now?
Well, most businesses have seen the importance of local knowledge.
Since we have tools like online chat and email available, companies have realised that if
a customer makes a call, it's because they want that human interaction and understanding.
It's all about the customer service agents.
Sure, there's some great technology out there to speed up wait times and properly
allocate calls but the real value to the customer is in great service.
There has been a major shift away from the old rigid performance indicators that led
to those robotic annoying calls, where each agent was pushed to deal with everything as
quickly as possible and stick to a formulaic script.
Because why bother?
We can do most of that with automated voice response now anyway.
Thankfully, good centres now focus much more on resolving problems and customer satisfaction,
and base performance incentives around those.
Agents also get better data, so they are prepared for the type of call that's coming in.
There are warnings now when a service has gone down or a fault has been found so that
agents can be prepared for the type and volume of calls coming in.
They'll be able to meet them head on rather than being caught off guard.
There's also a lot more cultural training going on for outsourced call centers and a
resurgence in American call centers especially with the major credit card companies who have
opened up call centers recently in Illinois, Delaware, Utah and all over the United States
to better offer that American customer service experience.
Zappos, the shoe company is also famous for bringing their offices to Las Vegas to better
hire cheap labour out there.
The most successful customer service departments are the ones that allow the customer to tackle
the problem on their own terms, with the communication form they are most comfortable with.
As technology evolves people have moved to live chat, using AI to better answer customer
service messages and also detailed FAQs to help people help themselves, but for a lot
of issues most people would still prefer to talk to a person and that's where the training
at the good old-fashioned call center comes in.

Arsenal transfer news: Arsenal vs Chelsea Community Shield kick-off time changed to avoid clash - Duration: 3:34.Arsenal vs Chelsea Community Shield kick-off time changed to avoid clash with women's Euro 2017 final
THE Community Shield will kick-off an hour earlier after the FA decided to switch timings to avoid a clash with the Womens European Championship final.
England play Netherlands in the semi-final on Thursday night looking to book a place in the final in Enschede on Sunday. England are hoping to be in the European Championship final on Sunday.
England captain Steph Houghton jokes around in training ahead of the semi-final against Holland.
That match kicks-off in Holland at 4pm, and the FA are eager to avoid any focus being taken off the Lionesses as they look to win their first ever major trophy.
So the Wembley showpiece between Chelsea and Arsenal has now been switched from a 3pm start to 2pm to ensure it doesnt clash with the big game in the Netherlands.
Both Arsenal and Chelsea were consulted about the change, along with BT Sport who will be screening the Community Shield live.
None had any objections, so the FA have been able to make the adjustment which is aimed at ensuring the England side get maximum exposure.
Mark Sampsons team are big favourites to see off host nation Holland on Thursday night as they look to secure a place in the final. The quarter-final victory over France saw them overcome one of the strongest nations in the womens game.
Prince William scores penalty and goes in goal with England womens football team, the Lionesses. And with Germany also already out of the competition, the tournament has opened up for England to finally get tournament glory.
But the Lionesses have been dealt a major blow ahead of their semi-final after losing goalkeeper Karen Bardsley through injury for the rest of the tournament.
Scans have revealed Manchester City stopper Bardsley suffered a broken leg during the second-half of Sundays last eight win over France. Karen Bardsley suffered a broken leg during the quarter-final win over France.
Siobhan Chamberlain is ready to come in from the start in goal for England on Thursday. It means Sampson is expected to turn to 33-year-old Siobhan Chamberlain for the Holland match - one of two enforced changes to his team.
The other is to cover the loss of key midfielder Jill Scott, who will have to sit out the last four match through suspension. Keep up to date with ALL the latest transfer news and speculation with our live transfer feed.

4 Easy, Healthy Breakfast Ideas | Gluten Free Breakfast Recipes - Duration: 5:07.Hey friends, Tiffany Dawn here, and I have a really fun video for you all today! A
few weeks ago one of you asked for some breakfast ideas and we're gonna do that!
These are my favorite, super easy, super healthy, and gluten-free breakfast ideas
that are perfect for summer. Are you ready to get hungry? So first we've got a
breakfast shake. And I know you've all heard of breakfast shakes, but I'm gonna
take this to a whole new level! At least for me it's a whole new level.
And really the best thing about this shake is you can do any of these
ingredients or totally different ingredients and it will taste awesome.
But here's what I do. So I start off with my berries and I just dump a few in. I
don't really measure I just kind of go for it, eyeball it.
That'll probably be enough for 2 cups of this shake. My husband usually drinks it
with me. And I'll put a little bit of Greek yogurt in. You don't need a lot, but
this is your protein. One of the big keys for me is having some protein in every
meal, otherwise I'll be hungry super fast afterwards, and to have carbs in every
meal, otherwise I won't feel full. Then I add a little bit of almond milk so
that it can blend together. And you could use regular milk, coconut milk, soy milk - I
just like almond milk personally. A little bit of flaxseed - this'll give me
some omega-3 fatty acids I think is what's in here. It's really good for you.
Then I add some honey to sweeten it. You could use maple syrup; I just like honey
better. I just love a little bit of peanut butter, or you could use almond
butter. You don't need a lot, again this is just a little more protein. And then I
like adding some chopped walnuts. And adding some shredded coconut is seriously
like one of my favorite things to do ever, but I can't really eat a lot of it
or it gives me heartburn, so I'm not gonna put it in, but if you want to add it, it
is so good! And then I add just a little pinch of the Himalayan sea salt and some
spinach. And then I take it over to blend and I bring my almond milk with me
because I will probably need some more liquid to get the blending started.
Okay number two are these pancakes. And I actually got the recipe idea from the
thekitchn.com online. If you love gluten-free pancakes that are super easy,
these are for you. And they're high in protein and have fruit in them! So for
these pancakes you just take a banana that's as ripe as you can get it, and then
you add two eggs. I like to use cage-free eggs. And then you can compost eggshells,
so that's pretty cool. My sister got us this awesome composting
for Christmas, because we were just putting it in a bucket and it was like smelling.
So this one has a compostable bag and everything, and it shuts. This banana isn't
quite ripe enough so it's a little more difficult. So for this you want to spray
the pan. You can also use butter or coconut oil. You just put the mixture on
like you would a pancake. Oh man I'm making like one big pancake. Okay I
didn't mean to do that. So look at that, like a pancake! Hey there we go. My
favorite way to do pancakes of any kind is to put peanut butter and maple syrup
on them. It's sweet, salty, and protein filled. These I mean with the eggs and the
peanut butter this is like ridiculous amounts of protein. That's amazing.
Pure maple syrup. There's literally nothing like it. Delicious. So the next
idea is granola with fruits and yogurt. And this is what I have for breakfast
almost every single day. I have this awesome recipe. The way I do it is I put
three cups of oats with 2 cups of slivered almonds with 1 cup of coconut
flakes and I mix it all together. Set that aside and then I melt either
1/4 cup of butter or a quarter cup of coconut oil and then mix 1/3 cup of
honey into it and then add in 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla and 1 teaspoon of
cinnamon. Mix it all together, pour it over the dry ingredients, and get real dirty
mixing it all with my hands, so it's all thoroughly mixed. And then it put it in a
greased pan at 400 degrees in the oven and after 15 minutes I stir it and after
10 minutes I stir it and then every 5 minutes I stir it until it's done. And it
is just absolutely delicious. And then you can add
cut up dried fruit like apricots and dates, or you can even add other nuts to
it or pumpkin seeds or other seeds. I love washing and cutting up the fruit
ahead of time and putting it in Tupperware in my fridge so it's just all
ready to go during the week as I'm eating my breakfast each morning.
Something else you can do that's really cool and actually is a different meal
idea is using quinoa instead of granola. So quinoa is this like super grain of
the Andes and is a really good source of protein. You cook it just like rice. And
then I would just keep it in my fridge all week and I'd put it in with yogurt
and berries for breakfast in the morning. So that's another idea is quinoa instead
of granola. And then the final recipe which I'm not actually gonna make today
but it is oatmeal. So you just make oatmeal,
you know old-fashioned oats, you just cook it up with water and oats on on your
stove, and then you add in peanut butter and honey and mix it all together.
So it gives you that protein boost from the peanut butter and it just tastes
like really cool and awesome and amazing. Sounds a little weird but it's great. You
should try it. So I hope you have enjoyed these favorite delicious, easy, and
healthy breakfast ideas that I love! And please comment below: What are your
favorite breakfast ideas? I can't wait to hear what you say and try some of them!
Thanks for watching and have an awesome breakfast today. Bye guys!

In the department of Kinesiology
graduate students are really the people making research discoveries. It's my goal
as a teacher and a supervisor to provide graduate students with opportunities
tools and some direction that allow them to make novel discoveries. Teaching is
more than just providing students with facts and information. It's really an
opportunity to get students excited and spark their interest in science.
Our world-class faculty and state-of-the-art research laboratories and institutes
really allow innovative research to be possible.

Baza de tratament - BĂILE JIGODIN - Treatment Center (Miercurea Ciuc, Transylvania, Romania) - Duration: 7:35.At the southern edge of Miercurea Ciuc town, the valley of Olt narrows between two volcanic peaks
This area is very rich in sparkling mineral waters, bicarbonatated, sodium, ferrous
We see the former Perrier-Vittel bottling plant for mineral water under the "Ana Vie" brand
On the other bank of Olt, in the back, is the mineral water pool from Baile Jigodin (Jigodin Spa)
We see the chimney smoking for the heating of the mineral water in the "Treatment Center" at the Baile Jigodin
"The Treatment Center" Jigodin Spa is open all year round, from Monday to Friday
Hot mineral water baths are indicated for the treatment of some locomotor system affections,
of the cardiovascular system, the peripheral-vegetative nervous system and post-traumatic conditions
The treatment center has individual bathtubs and a heated mineral water pool, mofette, saunas and a salt room
Patients benefiting from the effect of baths come back here year after year, some even from remote countries
Through the left window we see the pool of heated mineral water
In the peak of the summer season may be a bit more crowded, but the waiting time is only a few minutes
The water temperature fits according to the wishes of the patients and they are immediately invited to the booths
There are currently 11 booths with individual bathtubs
In the bathstubs comes sparkling mineral water from the drilling in the immediate vicinity
The water mumbles strongly due to the expansion of dissolved gases in the sparkling mineral water
The treatment session at the bathtub lasts for half an hour
The bathtubs are carefully cleaned after each use
Heated mineral water intensifies the metabolism and has a vasodilatory effect
The baths treats rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, spondylosis, discopathy, abarticular rheumatism,
myositis, tendinitis, tiny arthropathies; hypertension, stage I-II,
varicose disease, obliterating arteritis, Raynaud's disease, neuralgia, neuritis, neuro-vegetative dystonia
post-traumatic osteo-articular, muscular, and peripheral nervous disorders
Each bathtub has a hot mineral water pipe, a cold mineral water pipe and a drinking water hose
Through the window from this booth we see the moffete
At the end of the corridor is a cabin with a larger bathtub for two people
From the corridor, passing next one of the saunas, we head to the pool
The pool is filled with heated mineral water
The basin is not so deep, but enough to swim
Periodically, medical gymnastics are made in the pool under the guidance of a specialist
Mineral water is perfectly clean, but has this brownish green shade because of the oxidation of dissolved iron
We return to the sauna next to the pool
This sauna is dressed in faience
From the reception hall, we head towards the other sauna, to the moffete and to the salt room
The sauna here is made of wood
The stones on the stove are hot and inside it is very hot
We got to the mofette, and the lady makes a "scientific" experiment with soap bubbles
Mofettes are natural gaseous, post-vulcanic, cold emanations
Mofetic gas is made up of more than 95% of carbon dioxide (CO2)
Soap bubbles float on the surface of the mofetic gas, marking the limit with the breathable air
Mofettes intensify metabolism and cause peripheral and cutaneous vasodilation
Because of this, shortly after entering the mofetic gas, we will feel the skin "warming up"
The mofette has a favorable effect on the vegetative nervous system and is indicated for the treatment of many diseases:
rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis, arthrosis, spondylosis, discopathy, rheumatism, gout
hypertension, peripheral arthropathies, nephritis, asthenic neurosis, neurovegetative dystonia
eczema, psoriasis, post-traumatic osteo-articular, vascular, neurological sequels, etc.
Bending and mofetic gas inhalation is strictly forbidden, this can cause instantly respiratory blocking
In order to save the victims, the mofette is equipped with a gas mask and a hook (fang)
In a small neighboring building, a hall for halotherapy (saline therapy) is arranged
The walls and floor of the room are covered with natural salt plates
The treatment consists of inspiration of aerosols released by salt
Halotherapy is used in various respiratory diseases, but also preventative to strengthen the organism
Since the aerosols contain Ca, Mg, I, Br, there is also a very good cellular mineralization
At the entrance to the small park in front of the Jigodin treatment center there is a spring with mineral sparkling water
In the internal cure, mineral water from Jigodin is indicated for the treatment of several diseases of the digestive system
The iron is laid down from the mineral water, thus coloring the stone gutter and the pots
This continues the tradition of this spa since the end of the 19th century

3 Things Astronauts Need to Survive in Space - Duration: 5:31.I believe space travel represents the best of humanity - our ability to develop complex
tools, to work together and accomplish what no one could do on their own, and to survive
in environments that are completely hostile to us.
But what does it take to survive in space?
I'm not talking about the stuff the obvious stuff, like a pressured oxygenated atmosphere,
protection from ultraviolet rays, and comfortable temperatures.
I want to talk about what it takes to survive psychologically in space.
Scientists have spent decades understanding space psychology and I want
to share with you 3 of their most important findings.
Number 1: Build An Effective Team
Astronauts work in suffocatingly small spaces, work long days, and rely on each other to
complete their missions.
Small conflicts between crews can quickly escalate into serious life threatening problems.
That sounds like the plot of every Alien movie…
This is why teamwork is the number one priority for mission control.
When it comes to putting together a crew, the most important criteria NASA psychologists
look at is the health of a candidate, how well they sleep, and how they work with others.
NASA creates mixed gendered crews because they preform better than single gendered crews.
When a multinational crew, space programs make sure everyone gets the same training,
regardless of where they are from.
Training includes classes, simulations, and virtual reality.
NASA focuses on helping a crew learn how to communicate with each another, make decisions
together, support each other, and deal with unexpected situations.
Along the way crews get to know one another, develop a common language, and begin trusting
each other.
In space, crews work to maintain their teamwork by eating together at a table and celebrating
each other's customs and holidays.
Number 2: Create Earth-like Conditions
Our biology developed to survive on Earth and the same is true of our psychology.
This is why space creates so many problems for our internal clock—the suprachiasmatic
nucleus, SCN for short.
The SCN regulates circadian rhythms, which wake us up in the morning and make us sleepy
at night.
Because the SCN is located right next to the optic nerve, sunlight has a big impact on
our sleep patterns.
More sunlight, you feel alert.
More darkness, you feel tired.
The problem with space is astronauts don't get the same exposure to light that they're
used to on Earth.
The International Space Station orbits the Earth every 90 minutes.
The SCN isn't built for a 90-minute orbit; it's used to a 24-hour cycle.
This gives many astronauts a feeling of constant jet lag.
Combine that with the loud sounds of machinery on the space station
and it's no wonder so many astronauts suffer from insomnia, chronic drowsiness, and need sleep medication.
The solution is recreating as many Earth-like conditions as possible.
NASA recently replaced the International Space Station's lights with a new LED system that
creates colors similar to what we get on Earth.
It's kinda like how we use light boxes to treat seasonal depression, the smart lights
you can buy for your home, and the mood lighting found in most modern airplanes.
Number 3: Develop Rapid Brain and Behavioral Feedback
NASA's mental health team meets with astronauts in space and their families on earth on a
regular basis.
While astronauts can reach out for help anytime, it's too impractical for the ground mental
health team to check in on a daily basis.
The astronaut's schedules are just too full.
This is a problem because the people astronauts usually rely on for support, their friends
and family, aren't there with them in space.
Sure, the crew will check in on each other, but what if they're also feeling sleep deprived
or irritable?
Or what if an astronaut is experiencing a problem with another crew members?
This is why NASA is developing remote brain and behavioral feedback systems.
The goal is for ground crews to intervene with problems in space before they compromise
mission goals.
This is the kind of stuff that could have really helped Matt Damon in Interstellar…
On future missions, a badge will measure an astronaut's heart-rate, speech, and their
distance relative to other crew members.
Ground teams will be alerted if the crew is experiencing problems or if someone is isolating
themselves.
NASA psychologists have also developed tests that remotely measures an astronaut's mood
and stress using behavior, saliva, and facial recognition.
All of this information will one day be integrated with artificial intelligence that will provide
therapy to help astronauts and help them get back on track.
Understanding space psychology doesn't just make you a better astronaut, it can make your
life easier here on Earth.
There's so much more we can do to build better teams, bring the right mix of people
together, and help productively deal with conflict.
We can create environments that work with our psychology instead of against it by changing
the colors of our monitors, screens, and outdoor lights according to the hours of the day.
Creating behavioral monitoring systems on our schools, campuses, and workplaces could
help identify people who are in need of help at the first sign of trouble.
I've barely scratched the surface of space psychology.
