How To Pass Driving Test - Duration: 21:23.

In this video, I am going to share with you guys why so many people fail in the driving test

and how you can pass your driving test the first time.

I use this same method to help my students pass their driving test easily.

Here's an example of one of my student who passed his driving test with a perfect score no critical errors and no general errors.

I am Mandeep Burmi, the owner of

Ace Driving School in Winnipeg Manitoba. We help people pass their driving test easily.

And today you are going to learn my secrets on how to pass your driving test.

A lot of people fail they're driving test.

They can drive fine but they still can not pass their driving test and

unfortunately most of the advice they get from their family members and friends does not work.

You know the advice I'm talking about -

don't go over the speed limit.

always do shoulder check,

go in a proper lane

Sure this advice can help a little bit but it's not going to

maximize your chances of passing your driving test. Why? Because it does not

cover all the critical errors in the driving test. You fail your driving test

if you get one or more than one critical error in the driving test. After working

for many years as a driving instructor, I discovered an easier way to pass driving test.

My students use the same method to pass their driving test, the first time.

Hi I am Jacky. I did my first road test with Ace it and I passed.

Now it's time to share this method with you guys and show

you exactly how we use it there are two kind of critical errors in the driving

test. Number one standard critical errors. Number two situation based critical errors.

Most of the time people fail their driving test on situation based critical

errors. If you understand the situation based critical errors you can pass your

driving test easily. Trust me.

All right folks in order to understand

the situational critical errors we will look at some different situations I'm

just going to take this intersection as an example we will turn left at the

traffic lights on this intersection about four or five times and every

single time the situation will be different I will point out what are the

critical errors in every single situation so as I am driving towards the

intersection I am asking myself these two questions question number one what

are the critical errors here question number two how do I pass my driving test

here now the both questions are very important two very important to ask

yourself because question number one if you don't know the critical errors that

means you're going to get one okay if you don't know what are the critical

errors here you're going to do something silly and you're going to get one

critical error the second question is how do I pass my driving test here it's

just more likely engagement it's more like it's going to remind you that you

need to stay focused on the road you need to stay focused all the time so

back to question number one what are the critical errors in this

situation now what I see we have a solid green light and there's no other car

established in the intersection so I am the first

car here and we are turning left if you are the first car you're turning left

your light is green you have to go in the intersection if you don't go in the

intersection that's going to be a critical error in the driving test so if

I stop before the stop line here and that's going to be a critical error

because I did not establish now the second critical error is if I stop in

the middle of the intersection now as I'm driving towards the middle of the

intersection I am observing traffic I am checking traffic

I'm checking pedestrian and cyclist on the sidewalk here now I see a car coming

but looks like that car is too far from me so that means I can complete my turn

without stopping in the intersection if I stop in the intersection when the

traffic was too far that's going to be critical added because it creates

interference with the traffic that's behind you and then as

I'm turning I am approaching the street here then I ask myself okay what are the

critical errors here how do I pass my driving test here now the critical

errors we have actually two lanes here there's no marking on the street but

it's a pretty wide street that tells me we got two lanes instead of taking the

first lane if I go in the second lane that's going to be a critical error okay

so now we are back onto that same intersection now this time same thing

I'm going to ask myself what are the critical errors here how do i pass my

driving test here. it looks like the lightest green same situation that we

had last time there's no other car in the intersection so I am the first one

so that means I don't stop behind the stop line I have to go in the

intersection but this time the now the situation is little bit different last

time we had a traffic coming from this side but the traffic was too far and we

did not have anyone on the sidewalk here but this time we got no traffic but we

do have a cyclist on the sidewalk here so that means I

have to stop in the intersection and let the cyclists go first now here's the

second question that I'm going to ask myself where exactly do I stop in the

intersection yes we need to establish but how far do we go into an

intersection if I go too far in the intersection instead of stopping before

the middle of the intersection if I stop on the right side of the intersection

here that's also critical error in the driving test so as I'm driving I'm

constantly asking myself what are the critical errors here based on the

situation and how do I pass my driving test here so here I'm going to stop I'm

slowing down and now the cyclist has gone that's when I complete my turn okay

we are going to turn left again on that same intersection so far as I'm

approaching towards the intersection I am checking the traffic light so far the

light is green sorry the light is red if it stays red that means I have to

stop behind the stop line but if it turns green that means I have to

establish so now as soon as I get there the light turns green and going in the

intersection this time we have a totally different situation I am still the first

car there was no other car in front of me but we do have oncoming traffic

so that means I have to stop before the middle of the intersection if I don't

stop for this traffic oncoming traffic that's going to be a critical error and

if I go too far in the intersection let's say when I establish if I go too

far in the intersection if I stop on the right side of the intersection here

that's also critical error in the driving test so now I am in the middle

of the intersection I am observing my traffic light I am checking traffic

before I go from here I have to remind myself that I also need to check

pedestrian cyclist to make sure the sidewalk is cleared so now looks

like after this car here that's when I go and if I don't go after this car

that's still going to be a critical error because then it becomes hesitation

so now this car is gone I am proceeding now here's another situation so I ask

myself again what are the critical errors here how do I pass my driving

test here now the situation is we are turning left but at the same time this

white car is turning right now the question is do we wait for this white

car or do we or should we just go now we don't we don't want to wait for this

white car because we got the right of way so this white car has a yield sign

here okay so that means now they have to wait for us if I stop for that white car

if I'm letting the white car go first that's going to be a critical error in

the driving test so now we are going to look at another example so we are on a

different intersection we are turning left so this time the situation is

totally different so we have a red light and we are just waiting for the

light to turn green and I do have another car in front of me and this car

is also turning left so that means I have to see what he will do when the

light turns green so here I ask myself okay what are the critical errors and

you know what how do I pass my driving test here so as as he is driving

in the intersection I have to see if he is going to stop in the middle of the

intersection or not if he stop in the middle of the intersection then I stay

behind the stop line if I follow that car that's going to be a critical error

very important point so let me say that again if this red car established if

this red car stopped in the middle of the intersection and I follow him if I

go behind that car when he stops in the intersection that's an automatic fail

basically what I need to do is as I am driving towards the intersection I will

be checking traffic on this side as well if I see we don't

have any traffic on the side that means I know this red car is not going to stop

in the intersection and one more thing we are also checking pedestrian

and cyclist on the sidewalk so we do see a pedestrian here but this guy is going

the other way so that means he's not going to interfere with us so we just

have to observe traffic right now there's one car that golden car is

already turning right looks like this black car we just have

to see which way he is going at this point I see this black car is turning

right looks like this green car is also pointing to the right side so he is also

going right but if that white car is going straight that means the red car

will actually wait for the white car and I have to stay behind the stop line and

that's why I'm increasing my distance here I am slowing down I'm staying

behind the stop line if I follow if I start to follow this red car that's

going to be a critical error so you are always asking yourself these questions

what are the critical errors here how do I pass my driving test and based on your

knowledge based on your previous experience you do your best to answer

these questions and when you do that for every single situation you are engaged

with the process and when you are engaged with the process it's nearly

impossible to fail your driving test you will pass your driving test easily you

will also stay safe on the road so let's see what happens in the situation as you

can see I am staying behind the stop line here it looks like the white car is

going straight now when the white car is gone the intersection was totally empty

after that light is still green that's when I proceed there's no pedestrian

cyclist on the sidewalk and I come into the first lane so as I am turning and

then I am again off in myself questions what are the critical errors

how do I pass my driving test so when I complete my turn the critical error will

be if instead of coming into the first lane if I go in the second lane all

right that's going to be a critical error so in order to pass my driving

test I will come in the first lane unless that lane is blocked for

some reason maybe there's construction going on or for any other reason or if

the first Lane is not available then I can go in the second lane because I

don't really have any other option but if the first Lane is available then I

suppose to go in my first Lane so let's look at a different situation now so

this one is we are just going to exit on this parking lot so here I will ask

myself what are the critical errors here how do I pass my driving test here now

the critical errors are let us say by the rules anytime before you exit a

driveway parking lot or a back lane and you always have to make a full stop before

the sidewalk or before you enter on the road and then you make a full stop

before the sidewalk you check on the sidewalk to make sure there's no

pedestrian or cyclist and if the sidewalk is clear then you proceed so in

this situation the critical error will be if I don't stop for this pedestrian

so I made a full stop and then I checked on both side I saw this pedestrian was

coming so I stopped for him pedestrian is crossed he's gone and that's when I

move forward check traffic on the left if it's clear then I complete my turn

now we are turning right here then I ask again now this one is yield so I ask

myself again what are the critical errors here and how do I pass my

driving test here so again based on the situation there will be you know few

different situations just like the left and at the traffic lights we can have

different situations when you are turning right in a yield so right now as

I'm approaching I have to remind myself that if I am turning right I have to

stay closer to the right curb here within a 3 feet if I'm going too far

from the right curb that's going to be a deduction and then I see a sidewalk

coming up then I check on the crosswalk here if I do if if I don't see any

pedestrian on the crosswalk then I check traffic on the left side if I

see somebody coming like if there is a traffic coming from the left side then I

wait for the traffic but let's say if there is no pedestrian or cyclist

there's no traffic coming and if I still stop that's going to be a critical error

because a yield sign means you just want to slow down keep your car moving check

for a pedestrian cyclist traffic and if it's clear then you don't stop so here

I'm slowing down I'm checking everything and it looks good so I am completing my

turn as you are turning you know you're driving you're asking are you yourself

all these questions what are the critical errors here how do I pass my

driving test here so based on the different situations so for example

let's say this school zone here it says maximum 30 below 30 it says on Monday to

Friday September to June from 7:00 in the morning until 5:30 p.m. so now then

I have to you know that's the only time when you drive at 30 kilometers so if

you are driving on weekends or if you are driving in in the month of July

or August or if you are you know driving in the evening time then the speed this

30 speed limit sign doesn't apply to you in that situation the speed limit on

this street will be 50 kilometers because in Manitoba if you don't see any

speed limit sign that means it's 50 kilometers

so now we see railway tracks coming up so again you know I ask myself what are

the critical errors here how do I pass my driving test here so the rule for

the railway crossing is I have to slow down

cover my brake check on both sides and I physically have to turn my head to

make it obvious to my examiner that I am checking on the railway tracks if I don't

move my head my examiner won't be able to tell if I'm checking or not so here we

are going to turn right on this intersection so same thing here I ask

myself what are the critical errors here how do I pass my driving test here now

the critical errors will be if I do not wait for this pedestrian okay that's

going to be a critical error because she is already on the crosswalk even like if

you see a pedestrian now you know that's already close to the crosswalk so maybe

there's another pedestrian here who want to cross this way right so you have to

wait for pedestrians they always get the right-of-way

now the next critical error is what this car is actually doing so this guy you

know the yellow sign means it's a merge so this guy actually stopped in the

merge lane so he's defeating the purpose of the merge lane

he's treating that pretty much as a stop sign or as a yield

so this diamond shape yellow color sign means it's a merge and which means you're

getting a speed-up lane so they are giving you it you know another lane

you go in your lane you speed up and then you change your lane so yeah so you

know in this situation what this guy did I don't want to do that because if I

stop here like this guy that's going to be a critical error so I now I see a

merge lane sign that means I go in the merge lane without stopping there and

then I switch my lanes so I would put the signal on shoulder check and when it's

safe to do so then I would move over to the left side see how easy it is to

drive when you already know everything now if you do this for every single

thing left turns right and lane change roundabout one-way streets parking lot

doesn't matter everything I promise you can pass you're driving test like

this easy okay now the big question is how would you you know all

the critical errors before you even go for you're driving test well

you have two options option number one is you can practice and practice for

hours and hours go through almost all the different situations and

understand what you should be doing and what you should not be doing you can

take driving lessons to do this but let's be honest here most people they

don't have time they got no money for unlimited lessons so here's the second

option for you guys you can simply buy this online training program that I put

number don't know back to Chinatown last time we talked about football shirts

three quarters of the way up Yawarat road on the right I mentioned before

there was some shops selling martial art knives and machetes and that sort of

thing but they also as I found out they sold lots of little knickknacks one

thing I mean you only have to find one product that is right that you sell on eBay

that makes money and you could be made jeweler's loops the little magnifying glasses

that fold out the jeweler's used to check the gold and

diamonds different magnifications some with lights and things and I've been

asked by this from a friend of mine who's a gold dealer back in the UK I

spotted them but they range from a hundred to three hundred baht which was a

lot of money i didn't know the market value resale value for them so by the time

I found them I took some photos and got the prices but at that moment as so

much a China time it's you suddenly find the secret alleyways and right in

between these two shops that I was looking at with a very narrow alley

people who have got these little units make use of every square inch of footage

to put products but I noticed it was only two foot gap I walked through and I

found a maze of very narrow walkways that was probably a hundred square

meters covered in the little units a lot of the units which slightly covered like

a wardrobe on the side a meter Deep two meters long and the seller

will be standing in that 2-foot gap it was a nightmare to get through pen

section we'll talk about that on another video all the Pens but then the one what

I call one dollar Chinese watches Japanese watches the plastic ones the

they just offer show they very basic battery quartz movement but there were

hanging on a wire that had all these watches they have a hundred watches on

one it's like thousands of watches hanging and on the display and this

alleyways went on and it was just full of these dollar watches as I called them

now it perked my interest because I've never seen these I've seen them on the

streets for sale and they were selling for about a hundred baht on the streets

so it was a back then was about one pound fifty less than two dollars but

they were just everywhere in these alleyways so many watches and as I

walked through made notes they were selling them between ten and twenty baht

each so there was money there but I couldn't work out if there was money

there after you packaging posting around the world as you go through them

everyone's got slightly different watches I came out in a clearing there was two

shops on a dead-end alley way but proper shops with thousands of watches and all

displayed properly really nice and after going into that one of those shops made

a contact there these little shops they'd give you a plastic basket and you

had to buy ten watches minimum the shop I went into you had to buy a hundred

watches however they were all every watch in

that shop ten baht each so that was it was pennies it was about twenty pence

twenty-five cents it was just ridiculous I couldn't resist having a go at them

and I bought 100 watches the first visit at 10 baht each i couldn't

turn it down so good and bad back to the apartment when I eventually got there

and I'm faced with a hundred watches that's a hundred photos a hundred

listings all the writing on eBay a lot of work investigating I could sell them

for three four pound each and by the way every what you bought they gave you a

new battery that you had put in yourself oh yeah

but i twigged I just sent out the watch with the new battery and that the person

put the battery in themselves good and that gave me a bit of feedback not so

good but pretty much it was it was accepted I listed these hundred watches

and as you can imagine they're all various colors and styles I didn't know

if the kids ones would sell women's the men's but out of the hundred watches I

think I sold about thirty and profited and let's say two pounds a watch now i

relisted the ones that didn't sell a couple of times maybe another ten or so

sold I started to realize that the certain type would sell the certain

colors the ones with the flags the ones with the football team names on and I quickly

learned and I sold these watches once you'd listed them once you could easily

set up to relist and without doing all the photos and everything and over maybe

two or three months I'd always drop in there and buy another hundred watches I

was a bit more picky but I did find myself a few months down the line with

boxes of these watches that haven't sold

the lady in the shop when I told her that I couldn't sell all this bought

them all back off me at Half Price so I had hundreds gimme 5 baht each

hadn't used them that was good that helped me otherwise I would have been stuck with

thousands of watches but is it worth selling these two pound profit per watch well

if you sell twenty ten watches in a day on eBay which couple of clicks of the

button it back then that was a thousand baht now you do that every day for a

month that's thirty thousand baht work it out that adds up and that's just a

couple of little items easy to parcel but the trips sigh the battery went as I said I don't

know how many trips I was doing I'm down to the post office things were getting

crazy in those early days I was doing the handbags as I mentioned purses these

watches football shirts now I did have a post office right next to my condo

however I soon learned as I possibly mentioned before that customs around the

world they see a stamp on a box pratunam Bangkok it flagged up and a lot of

boxes would be opened and checked and I was told also if I use the shipping agent

do it the different post offices further away so that was becoming a challenge

because I did lose a couple of parcels over the months which I was making

enough money to cover it so wasn't too much of a problem but it's not good when

you lose a parcel the customer gets unhappy the other end waiting so these

little cheap watches even if you did it with things like earrings jewelry all

this knickknacks and things so enough of the product it adds up

money was really coming in quite I was making a lot of money for a few months

on all the stuff but I was spending so much time on eBay and parceling stuff up

I didn't have a printer it was Hand writing everything and a lot of supplies

the stationery I was buying all these jiffy bags and boxes and things from some

paying as well in the stationery section I haven't mentioned yet but we'll go on

to that one but not of carrying stuff around could have done with a pickup

truck and a house somewhere and a huge big garage could have filled it easily

so again in this section all these cheap watches in Chinatown brilliant amazing

feeling in there and I soon learned which one was selling which and which

was selling you pick it up really quick especially when you start having loads

left up not selling my eBay costs were going through the roof all the selling

fees because almost like you keep on top then you pay it I was paying every day

so I didn't have a bill at the end of the month which was good and I was using

the PayPal to pay so I never even touch the money so that's good at that point

of finding that section of China's town that is where I discovered coming out of

the other side into this one SOI my favorite part I think of all my Bangkok

Chronicles and that was the proper replica watches now I will do a

whole video on the top end replica watches and what happened that

everything and then my wife the point I found these cheaper watches I've been

dating every Sunday and there might be got up and down to paramsom and mahachai the

places and shortly thereafter is where she started coming up and spending time

and knickknacks and ink pens I've been a Parker Pen man I found right in the

beginning of those watch section two or three stalls like the cupboards

beautiful pens and they just caught my eye and they were about hundred baht

each something that's quite expensive I haven't heard of the name mont blanc

didn't know anything about it there was other makes there as well a

lot of fountain pens with my naiveaty and not knowing the product I bought it

maybe two or three of these Mont Blanc pens and I made a mistake instead of

doing my research I put one on ebay for sale I thought 10 pounds is going to be the

cost of this pen I listed it put it on it went up to a hundred and sixty pounds now

at that point all the alarm bells were ringing and I oh dear what have I done

what happened and I suddenly right start investigating online what is Mont Blanc

and I spent a lot of time learning about the brand and I just realized that I put

a counterfeit pen of a famous brand on eBay it sold four

hundred and sixty pounds oh dear now i could not afford to lose my ebay

account with everything I was doing immediately got onto the buyer told them

what's happened certainly honest explain giving in to them apologized for wasting

their time but they actually wanted the pen they agreed to pay ten pound for the

pen as a counterfeit product and would leave me good feedback which works at

home so I send the pen I made a little profit end up putting counterfeit pens

on ebay but I got loads are messages from people who'd seen that I've asked

it about them so I could have easily bought those and sold them but over the

coming couple years I bought loads of those Mont blanc pens for myself because

they're so nice and I still got them great

but that taught me do your research before you list things so easy to get

bitten so pens i kept away from they even had

the boxes with the Pens that were all stamped correctly they had certificates

that all looked authentic everything looks original absolutely

perfect replica even the refills inside were all marked up properly

and since coming back to the UK I even took one to the jewelers that normally

sell these pens are so good and I took one into a jewelers when I was having a

battery Put into a watch and showed him and he looked he checked it over

and got an original out and show me Wow so close he struggled to tell the

difference but there was a serial number on the clip the the part that you put in

your pocket hangs over here on the side of the clip was a number and the couple

of pens I had had the same serial number on that gave it away

serial numbers watches pens quite often there I've got a serial number on it

if there counterfeit they all had the same number watch out for that but pens

love them couldn't sell them Jewellers loops i investigated and inside that

section of the watch passed with chinese watches i found more people selling them

and the price went down the further you went in I eventually managed to

negotiate 25 baht for the basic ones and 50 baht for the ones with lights for the

diamond magnifying ones I bought some shiped them to my friend in the UK who

absolutely loved them couldn't believe the prices because I had sold him to him

and just cost he then asked me to ship lots to him so he could sell himself

online and to friends and I shipped thousands I bought from this place I put

an order in beginning of the week for whole box of 500 in the box and I bought

a couple of thousand off this shop and shiped them heavy went to a shipping agent

at the end of my road by the condo and 25 kilo boxes were there was a over a

hundred pound but by the time I'd ship them all to him

he gave me 50 pence 50 pence every one profit after and the shipping costs and

the total profit but he was making two three four five pound an item that

gave me the insight Ok I can start shipping in bulk some items maybe if I

can find the people to buy them off me who can sell back in the country

that was my first entrance into shipping in bulk using the guy that gave me the

work permit ten kilo boxes was the way to go I made a killing on these eye loops

and he bought those he sold them so quick every month I was probably

certainly on for ten kilo boxes a month and making a lot of money I was great

brilliant just finding the right shiping agent but you had to put all the

shipping info on the invoices on the boxes and paperwork and customs stopped a

couple of the boxes and he got charged import duties but it wasn't much it was

it was a small amount a couple of pence on each item but he was happy he was

still making enough money and still gave me my 50 Baht profit but that was then I

was in like five thousand baht a box profit I was making twenty thousand-plus

baht a month just on jewelers loops very good anyway that battery gone I

don't know how long this videos go on for I've been rambling have we learned

anything today jewellers loops chinese watches and pens I'll see you

on the next one I must mention how I found a way of getting around Bangkok

without using taxes and the BTS remind me on the next video
