Donald Trump Is Killing White America | The NFL - Duration: 5:37.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Donald Trump is killing White America.

I should probably clarify what I mean.

Despite my deep-seated racism I'm not talking about White Genocide or something ridiculous

like that.

I'm talking about the death of a certain mid-20th Century version of white identity.

I think this is a good thing.

Identities are constantly changing.

Being a "White American" means something very different from century to century, and

even from decade to decade.

We may be ready for a new set of identities in the United States, hopefully ones that

have more to do with the content of our character than the color of our skins.

Donald Trump destroys whatever he touches, and this week it's the National Football

League.

People have tons of theories for the decline in NFL viewership and profit.

Some say it's concerns about brain injury.

Trump claims that it's because of Colin Kaepernick's tendency to take a knee during

the US National anthem to protest the oppression of African Americans.

All these theories ignore the fact that it's the 20th century business model that hurts

the NFL more than anything else.

In 21st century America, there are fewer and fewer things that require you to sit down

at a certain time and watch something for three hours, while being force fed ads.

Everything's on Demand Now.

It's surprising the NFL has lasted this long in its current form honestly.

Until Friday Evening, it looked like the NFL had survived the national anthem controversy.

Kaepernick was not signed to a team this year, and the other protests had been fading away.

The NFL owners had already done what Trump requested on Friday, and American Football

was once again becoming safe for white fragility.

Until Friday Night.

SON OF A BITCH Trump brought the controversy roaring back,

and it's quite possible that this time it will do serious damage to the NFL.

Instead of two or three athletes, we've now got whole teams skipping the national

anthem.

Trump has imposed real costs on the NFL owners, all but one of whom is white.

As aging plutocrats the owners are also very natural Trump supporters.

Or at least they used to be.

Turning the NFL into an arena for race politics isn't good for business.

Despite the race of 80% of the players, the NFL's audience is 83% white and skews heavily

Republican.

A Trumpkin boycott could seriously damage the NFL, a very old school white America institution.

The President's influence on the Confederate statue issue has been just as bad for old

school white America.

The parks of many Southern cities feature statues of generals from the losing side of

the US civil war.

This controversy had been brewing for a while.

I kind of liked Baltimore's approach.

They kept the Statues, but put up plaques documenting how they were symbols of white

supremacy.

Which they absolutely are.

A month or so back Donald Trump weighed in.

Beautiful Statues.

So how did that go?

The statues are quickly coming down across the country, Baltimore included.

Do you see a trend here?

I still believe that Trump's election had a lot to do with economic insecurity, and

that it would never have happened if the Democrats had picked a halfway decent candidate.

But it's getting harder to ignore the fact that his most solid support comes from Trump's

loud advocacy of an outmoded vision of White America.

Ta-Nehisi Coates has famously called Trump America's First white President.

While I don't agree with all of Coates's critique I think that's probably right.

I think Trump is America's First White President.

I also think he's the last.

From the NFL, to the Southern Statues to coal mining, Trump is presiding over the last gasp

of older whiter ideas and institutions in the United States.

Trump is actually accelerating the demise of these ideas and institutions.

Conservatives held their nose and voted for Trump because they thought he'd be able

to enact their agenda.

How's that going?

Though I consider myself a conservative it's hard to deny that the Republican party forwards

an agenda that's better for Wealthier White Americans.

Trump's disastrous failure to lead has actually managed to drive up sympathy for ideas like

socialized medicine.

In this arena too, Trump is over-seeing the death of old ideas, not their resurgence.

Trump isn't making His White America Great Again, he is speeding up its end.

Start by outlining the panel with sc.

Hook n. 2.5 and rope yarn

Initial loop

2 sc for each hole taking the leather and the reinforcement panel

If necessary, make increments in each corner (3 sc).

2 sc for each hole taking the leather and the reinforcement panel

Cut and hide the thread.

Now make the sides, then put aside the panel.

Same yarn and hook n.3

Choose what you want to do your large bag in centimeters / inches,

and starts the chains until it reaches the measure.

I decided to do a 7cm wide bag

so I will do so many chains up to about 7 cm.

Start 11 ch

1 sc in each st (x31 rows)

1 sc in each st (x31 rows)

Outline the panel with sc, making (1 sc, 1 ch, 1 sc) in each corner.

1 ch, close with 1 sl st in first st. Don't cut the thread.

Sew the side to the panel with sl st.

This will have to be the result.

If you make a lower side, you can turn this bag into clutches, folding the top

but by removing the reinforcement panel.

For the lining, just cut a fabric of the same shapes and sizes of the panel and sew it along the edge.

Follow the steps of the video

Cut and hide the thread.

To apply the sides perfectly, bend the panel in half, matching all corners

Place the side to the center of the panel (where the fold is formed)

fix the corners to the panel, and then start sewing.

Now we have to apply the chain!

Same yarn and hook n. 2.5

Initial loop

Point in the chain, in stitch of the corner, and make 1 sc.

*1 ch, skip next st. point the hook in next chain and in next st, and make 1 sc.

Repeat from *, until the end.

Leave the chain free for the handles.

Repeat from *, until the end.

Join the chain

In this part I did sc in each st below.

Now cut and hide the thread.

The Risks Associated with the OJP's Management of the Crime Victims Fund Grant Program - Duration: 3:35.

Hello, I'm Michael Horowitz, Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Justice.

Today, our office released an audit of the risks associated with management of the Crime

Victims Fund by the Office of Justice Programs, or OJP.

The Fund is an account supported entirely by federal criminal fees, penalties, forfeited

bail bonds, gifts, donations, and special assessments.

It is used to support crime victims through DOJ programs and state and local victim services.

Over the past 3 fiscal years, DOJ has provided nearly $8 billion in funding for these programs.

Today's audit is part of the OIG's strategy to provide oversight of DOJ grants to programs

supported by the Fund.

Our report today concludes that OJP had sufficient controls in place for the solicitation, selection,

and awarding of the Fund's grants.

We also determined that OJP has made progress toward meeting new congressional requirements

for grant recipients of the Fund.

However, we identified risk areas where OJP's management of the Fund's grant programs

needs improvement, including its onsite monitoring of state administering agencies, understanding

of grant and financial monitoring procedures, training for staff, and use of performance

measures.

Today's report makes 11 recommendations to OJP to address the risk areas identified

in its management of the Fund.

I encourage you to listen to a podcast that we also released today, which features a member

of our Audit Division discussing the report's findings in greater depth.

The OIG is committed to robust oversight of the Department's administration of the Fund

as it continues to grow.

We have issued 16 audits since January 2016 of programs that received grant money from

the Fund, and we have 16 audits ongoing.

As a result of those audits, we've issued dozens of recommendations to improve administration

of the Fund and enhance the performance of its programs.

We've also identified over $2.4 million in questioned costs and nearly $200,000 in

money that can be put to better use.

Our ongoing Fund-related audit work includes:

Assessments of how state administering agencies' are managing the Fund's grants;

Evaluations of state administering agencies' practices for monitoring the performance of

grant sub-recipients; and

Audits of grants that provide funding for victim services and for financial assistance

and reimbursement to crime victims for certain out-of-pocket expenses.

Finally, in fiscal year 2018 and in future years, the OIG plans to perform audits of

the Fund's grant sub-recipients to evaluate these organizations' performance in achieving

grant objectives to provide services and assistance to victims.

To learn more about today's report, or the OIG's ongoing work in this area, please

visit our website, oig.justice.gov.

Thank you for joining us.

Why 23 million Americans don't have fast internet - Duration: 7:16.

"I want to tell you my secret now..."

"I see..."

Do you want to know what Haley Joel Osment

says in The Sixth Sense?

What about this noise?

For many Americans,

slow internet or no internet is still a reality,

and the internet speed in Nashville, Tennessee,

might not be as fast in Nashville, Kansas.

Besides missing "Stranger Things,

having a slow connection

can mean increased health risks,

a limited education,

or having less money,

all of which, creates a divided country,

because the fact is:

all American internet is not equal.

In 2015, The FCC defined "broadband" as internet with

download speeds of at least 25 Megabits per second

and uploads of at least 3.

That basically means, a constant connection

capable of streaming videos,

sending messages,

and transferring data.

On multiple devices.

Overall, 10 percent of Americans don't have broadband.

But rural areas suffer most.

39 percent of rural Americans,

about 23 million people, don't have high-speed internet.

This map shows where broadband is available

and areas it has yet to reach.

In places where broadband adoption is higher,

so is the number of people

who've earned a college degree.

Fewer people are unemployed,

and the rates of poverty are also lower.

Without fast internet,

rural Americans have a difficult time

accessing government services, like Medicare.

And as education moves online,

students struggle to complete assignments at home.

In a few rural districts,

superintendents have loaded school buses with wi-fi

and parked them overnight in neighborhoods

where kids need it to do their homework.

These communities would benefit from broadband,

so why don't they have it?

In cities, most broadband is "wireline",

which typically means it is delivered through

fiber optic cables that have been laid in the ground.

Laying cables is expensive,

but there's an incentive for providers:

high population density means hundreds of people

pay to access the same network.

In rural areas, that's not the case.

So large telecoms, like AT&T and Comcast,

don't prioritize extending cable lines

if they only reach a few people.

But there is an alternative,

and that's "wireless" broadband:

which is either beamed from a satellite, or relayed

from the nearest fixed wireless point by antennas.

In places like Appalachia or The Rocky Mountains,

a wireless system can be

an effective way to provide internet.

But its quality is not as reliable as wireline.

Outside of traditional providers, a few tech companies

are trying to create new wireless options

that could be used in rural areas around the world.

This video is from Project Loon:

Alphabet's internet-beaming balloon system

designed to connect people in remote areas

using wireless technology.

Like Loon, Facebook also has

its own wireless project:

a solar-powered drone called Aquila,

which Mark Zuckerberg hopes will help reach,

"half the world's population -- 4 billion people --

--[who] still can't access the internet."

And then, there's Microsoft,

which is focusing on rural broadband, here in America.

Their plan is to send wireless internet

using unlicensed television frequencies,

called "white spaces".

While these companies pursue futuristic projects

that focus on wireless,

a proven example for providing wireline connections,

in The US, lies in the opposite direction:

The Past.

In 1935, President Roosevelt created

The Rural Electrification Administration, or "REA",

to deliver electricity to rural America.

Before then, most Americans receiving electricity

got it from private companies.

But The REA changed that.

It loaned federal funding to electric cooperatives

that built power lines private companies wouldn't.

Within a few decades, most of America was electrified

and now some of those same co-ops

are providing internet.

But unlike electrification,

which relied almost entirely on co-ops,

there are many models for deploying broadband.

For example, the city of Cedar Falls, Iowa

built its own municipal network

and later used a portion of a federal grant

to extend the network to nearby rural communities.

"We are seizing the potential of the internet

and other technologies."

For the past two decades, presidents have been

allocating federal dollars for high-speed internet.

"We must bring the promise of broadband technology

to millions of Americans."

But rural broadband has been an evolving challenge.

"When you look at the speeds we're going to need

for all the apps and the videos,

and all the data,

new software that is constantly coming onto market.

We've got to keep pace.

We've got to be up to speed."

President Obama increased funding and enabled

municipal networks like the one in Cedar Falls,

which are prohibited in other states.

Now, President Trump is calling for

even more investment, while also

scaling back Obama's policies.

Standing near a tractor in June,

President Trump announced his new infrastructure plan.

"That is why I will be including a provision

in our infrastructure proposal --

$1 trillion dollar proposal,

you'll be seeing it very shortly

to promote and foster enhanced broadband access

for rural America, also!"

The speech drew a big applause in Iowa, but

but Trump's commitment may have been misleading.

Not only because the proposal has not arrived yet,

but, less than two months after his speech,

The FCC outlined priorities for the new administration,

Including a suggestion to set

a lower mobile broadband benchmark

of 10 Megabits per second.

That's roughly equivalent to 4G mobile phone coverage,

which most of America

already receives from major providers.

So if the broadband benchmark becomes 10,

nearly all of America would be covered

and the government could claim they've

fulfilled their promise to increase rural broadband.

But in reality, all they've done is redefined

what it means to offer high speed internet.

It would be a standard sufficient for social media

and other apps, but falls short of the

high speed service that can help schools,

businesses, and rural healthcare facilities.

On an international scale, it would signal that The FCC

is fine with connectivity slower than mobile speeds

in Kenya or Greece, both of which

rank higher than The United States.

Dropping the benchmark lowers the broadband goal,

but using electrification as a funding model

could help reach it where it is.

Expansion is expensive.

But history and research show that

providing equal internet for all Americans

is worth it.

Learn to Read: Words with T, B & A - Duration: 4:54.

Hi!

I'm Miss Kris.

I'm so glad that you could come to my reading time.

I was just reading The House at Pooh Corner.

And the title has the word AT in it.

And we're going to read that word today.

We're going to put together the letters that we

learned and read words.

So you can see there's a T.

And we learned that letter.

T says \t\, t says \t\.

Our tongue taps when we say \t\.

\t\

And we learned the letter B.

B says \b\, b says \b\.

And our lips pop when we say \b\.

And then we learned the letter A.

A says \a\, a says \a\.

Now you remember we learned some different A's.

We learned that sometimes

often times in books

A is wearing a hat.

And I showed you my hat.

Well, the other thing I want to show you today

is that sometimes A has a tail.

This A has a tail.

And sometimes A doesn't have a tail.

And either way is fine and we can know

that we can recognize the letter A

whether or not it has a hat and whether or not it has a tail

because I bet you knew that I was Miss Kris

even though I have a tail on today. Didn't you?

Here's our first word.

A says what?

\a\.

T says \t\.

\a\ \t\.

At.

Just like...

The House at Pooh Corner.

If we put our \b\ in front of \a\ \t\,

what do we have?

\b\ \a\ \t\.

\b\ at.

Bat.

I have a bat right here.

My husband got this bat when he was a little boy.

His mom gave it to him.

Isn't it interesting with all of its carvings on it.

It was from Mexico.

It has the word Mexico right on it.

You can hit a ball with a bat.

Another kind of bat is a bat that flies.

Can you make a bat with your hands?

A bat flies around at dusk eating mosquitoes up.

Now if we put the B

at the end and the T at the beginning

and the A in the middle we have

\t\ \a\ \b\.

\t\ \a\ \b\

Tab.

In this box,

I have some folders.

And on a file folder,

there is a tab.

A little thing that sticks out and identifies what's in it.

I have different ideas in here

for stories that I'm working on.

This is another kind of tab.

A tab on a can of juice.

So it's something that sticks out

that you can use to hold it

or to make something happen.

I'm going to pop the tab.

It is a hot day today with the sun coming in.

mmm Yummy juice.

So we can read \t\ \a\ \b\.

We just read three words with our three letters.

We'll see you next time and we'll learn some more letters

and read even more words.

Goodbye.

7 CANCER CAUSING ITEMS YOU NEED TO REMOVE FROM YOUR BEDROOM RIGH - Duration: 6:37.

7 CANCER-CAUSING ITEMS YOU NEED TO REMOVE FROM YOUR BEDROOM RIGHT NOW

There are so many easy switches we can make in order to prevent cancer: from the foods

we eat to the products we put on our body, its important to be informed on what to

buy and what to avoid.

Some of these things are more obvious, like eat less McDonalds and dont

use chemicals you cant pronounce, but many other cancer-causing products could be

hiding in our houses and we dont even know it!

This article isnt meant to scare you, but rather to keep you informed.

If there are ways to prevent getting sick, why not take advantage of that knowledge and

do so?

After all, your body is your temple, and you cant enjoy your wonderful life without

taking care of it.

With that being said, lets take a look at some common cancer-causing items that are

hiding in bedrooms:

1.

Cotton Pillowcases and Sheets

Conventional cotton is one of the most pesticide-ridden crops that exists, and one of the most commonly

used herbicides sprayed on them is Monsantos Roundup, the active ingredient in which is

glyphosate.

Glyphosate has been linked to cancer time after time, yet people are still consuming

and using things that have known glyphosate residue on them.

There are tons of alternatives to conventional cotton, including bamboo and organic cotton.

I recently switched over to organic cotton bedsheets, and my life will never be the same.

Theyre equally as soft and do not pose the same health risks as conventional bedsheets

do.

2.

Fake Leather Furniture

Dont get me wrong, I do not condone using animal products and skin whatsoever.

I wouldnt want to have leather furniture in my house, and Im not encouraging others

to purchase these items either!

However, fake leather thats derived from PVC (an endocrine disruptor) and other chemicals

often contains toxic ingredients linked to a wide range of health issues.

Whats more, there are often flame retardants in sofas, regardless of whether or not its

fake leather.

Many flame retardants pose health concerns, including but not limited to cancer, hormone

disruption, and negative effects on brain development.

3.

Paints

Oddly enough, I sort of like the smell of a freshly painted home.

However, that pungent smell doesnt come without a cost.

One of the most common sources of volatile organic compounds in homes is paint, which

is a known carcinogen!

Whats worse is that exposure to these is even more potent when indoors.

The EPAs website reads: Studies have found that levels of several organics average

2 to 5 times higher indoors than outdoors.

During and for several hours immediately after certain activities, such as paint stripping,

levels may be 1,000 times background outdoor levels.

4.

Electronic Devices

Do you sleep with a cell phone next to your bed?

If you do, obviously youre not alone, as tons of people use their cell phones before

falling asleep or as an alarm clock for the morning.

Plus, if you have any other electronic devices in your bedroom such as televisions, hairdryers,

and alarm clocks, or even just outlets, WiFi, and dimmer switches, youre further increasing

your exposure to EMFs.

EMF exposure has been considered a probable carcinogen for a long time, and a lot of science

now backs up this claim.

Some easy fixes would be to either turn your phone on airplane mode, turn your phone off,

or leave it outside your bedroom entirely.

Youll improve the quality of your sleep and reduce your EMF exposure.

5.

Mattress

Unfortunately, tons of mattresses are also doused in flame retardants.

As previously discussed, flame retardants are associated with a variety of health issues

including but not limited to cancer, hormone disruption, and negative effects on brain

development.

Though the most efficient alternative would be to purchase an organic mattress, it is

said that flipping your mattress can at least help keep things clean!

6.

Stuffed Animals

Another item commonly sprayed with flame retardants is stuffed animals.

This is especially disappointing, as children would then be exposed to these toxic chemicals

at a very young age.

Many of us tend to keep our stuffed animals, but after learning this, you may want to toss

them!

7.

Relaxing Room Sprays

Air fresheners are all over peoples houses; from bedrooms to bathrooms to cars, people

love them.

Typically theyre made with synthetic fragrance, otherwise known as parfum.

Parfum is basically a cocktail of toxic chemicals, but instead of listing all of these chemicals

on the back of products, its conveniently labelled as parfum so that companies

can keep their signature fragrance a trade secret.

Unfortunately, this also allows companies to hide harmful ingredients, many of which

are known carcinogens, in their products without the consumer even knowing.

For a more natural alternative, try brands like Saje Natural Wellness or DoTerra, or

make your own using essential oils and water!

For a relaxing blend try using lavender and chamomile essential oils.

Final Thoughts

We do not publish articles like these to inspire fear amongst the public, but rather to empower

people to make more informed choices.

Its incredible that we have this knowledge and that we can use it to actually better

our health!

So, rather than worrying about what these products could do to you, just use this information

to make smarter decisions in the future.

I understand now you are attracted to

greatness because greatness is all in

you but it's easier to watch greatness

it's easier to go see greatness than is

to put in the time to put in the energy

to discipline yourself just sacrifice it

easier and so that's why you average

I've been doing the same thing you had

the same job you're experiencing the

same things and you're like nothing has

changed everything about you is

phenomenal but you consciously made a

decision to be average you are average

in school you're average at your

workplace like everything you do is

average and not because it's average but

because you made a decision you made a

choice to be average why cuz the people

around you our average or maybe you grew

up in an average environment or went to

an average school or you work for an

average company and so you decided you

decided to go against who you are

no one else feel sorry for you only you

do that's the type of mindset when

people are successful at life they sit

there and they feel sorry for themselves

and they will all this fucking sympathy

from everybody else yet they're not

willing to go out there and make shit

happen for themselves because this is

not for everyone this is not for the

faint at heart

this is for people will have goals and

dreams they want to achieve everyone

seems to think that this world this

government somebody owes them something

nobody owes you shit if you want

something go out there and get it go out

there fucking take it that's all there

is to it

you could be great if you just showed up

get in ok quit stop playing you deserve

to see what your life would look like if

you gave a hundred and twenty pretend

you got a song out cheater this kind of

a fine

he's got a solid after you this he's got

him run after your Destin you gotta run

out to your Destin you gotta run after

your destiny

you gotta run after it you gotta run

because success is never an accident and

if you don't want it get out of my way

because there are some people who want

to do something with their life

the choice that we have though is either

to give up or keep on going I want to

ask you what are you gonna believe are

you gonna believe in yourself you're

gonna believe everybody else's judgment

on you like I want your dream to be so

clear so vivid right that when you wake

up in the morning all you got to do is

step in your dream I didn't get it until

I got to this age but I go start running

I messed up junior high but now I'm

gonna start running I messed up high

school but nine will start running the

moment you dip the word you wanna run

the Bible said the day you hear my voice

harden not your heart with God give you

a chance at a nice day don't be cute

proud

[Applause]

you might be taller than me you might be

bigger than me you might be stronger

than me but I was coming and I'd rather

die try I'd rather give a year I'd

rather put in work and fail the harder

you work the harder it is to surrender

and that's in every aspect of life stop

acting like this is your last day on the

planet I deserve to see what my life

would look like if I gave a hundred

percent I would rather aim for the stars

and not get them then to not aim at all

I would rather go after it and not get

it did not go after it at all I'd rather

try and sail did not try at all I don't

want to live with the idea wonder what

would have happened and I took ball with

my life

go for it come hell or high water

after my destiny you gotta run after

your destiny you can't stall

walk after your destiny you gotta ride

[Applause]

don't be shy

[Applause]

[Music]

if you did wrong after what's in front

of you you will escape what's behind you

don't spend all your time trying to fix

what's behind you because you'll never

be able to fix what's behind you you

have to run after what's in front of you

[Music]

you

[Music]

I think that among the things that

prevent us from acting is the fear of

failure and if you've already failed you

don't want to fail again the pain of

that the disappointment many of us don't

act because we want other people's

approval we want everybody to like us

and to accept us we'll settling for less

than what we actually deserve we don't

feel good about it but we make it work

in our minds we'll come up with some

kind of excuse to make it all right

[Music]

mostly would like to feel like their

king in the area of their comfort zone

they only want to do those things that

they know how to do well so there are

many reasons why we don't act there are

other things though that affect us is

that not wanting to take personal

responsibility we want somebody else to

do it and that's not possible

and when you go through life like that

something in you dies you need to start

asking yourself some questions what do I

really really truly want

don't wait around for things to be just

right

don't wait for things to be perfect

don't wait for the ideal situation it

will never be ideal

the date is opportunity you have they

might not be here next year you might

not be here two year after next it might

not be hitting year after that this is

the only moment you've got

[Music]

fine then when you decide to act when

you decide to take life oh and let me

warn you it can be painful it will be

uncomfortable and that's where the

growth

never be satisfied with yourself always

know that as you invest the effort and

time on you that's the greatest ability

that human beings have above animals see

adult can be anything but a dull tree

can't be anything but a true human being

you've got unlimited potential you can

put effort on you and by concentrating

on you and developing you you can

transform your life wherever you are

right now

[Music]

[Music]

many people will leave the universe

without a trace no one will know they

were here

what will you leave what will be

different because you came this way

[Music]

listen to that still small voice within

you don't try and make everything

logical there are some things about life

that defies logic see there's some good

out there for you in the universe that

has your name on it and nobody can get

your good

it has your name on they can't take your

stuff it's your stuff so when you know

that when you know that whatever you're

seeking it's also seeking you you don't

worry you don't run scared you don't

think somebody's gonna take it from you

[Music]

[Music]

you've got to say yes yes to my dreams

yes to me yes I can make

yes I can

[Music]

you don't need anybody to approve your

dream that was given to you if they

can't see it is because it wasn't given

to them it was given to you you're gonna

get thrown to the ground again and again

and again but when you have

determination and you know that what

you're doing is right that gives you

your life it gives us special meaning

and power to you

I refuse to be denied and I'm gonna go

all out

I'm going to be with Nikolas I don't

care how many knows I don't tell doesn't

matter how many failures about me

mistakes are the dual

doesn't matter but like the peach

nothing

yes

we all get knocked down in every aspect

of life we all get hit on the Blind Side

knocked upside the head at some point

everything's gonna go south and you're

gonna say this is it this is how I end

[Music]

during those down moments that's where

the growth takes place

and you hear me summer you have been

knocked out my life

the real challenge of growth mentally

emotionally and spiritually comes when

you get knocked down

my daughter back I'm her father

unfortunately that's not enough remind

you but you were born in the dark shape

by a doctor molded by a pair so what do

you do when you fall down we can fight

our way back into the light recycle your

case get something for me you already

pay use it do something with it allow it

to take you along your pain to push the

date you know

you know sometimes in life you have to

hit back everybody's trying to stop you

everybody that tried to kill your brain

it will prove all of them wrong

I don't care what the scoreboard says

we're gonna be winners

so now you got the boy let's Seoul ended

on a difference reached now that was

five minutes ago

is your time

go out there and take it

you know what you're worth the glottic

Telmex you're worth

get it again the lights are cut off but

you still looking at your breed

reviewing it every day and save yourself

it's not over until I win make a

declaration to yourself I'm unstoppable

this will not get me down

live your life now live your dreams now

you

[Music]

there's something about the way we

perceive success that results in one of

the greatest tragedies of our time and

that's the belief that successful people

the ones at the top of their game the

talent is what punched their ticket that

destiny is what brought them to the

finish line and that's wrong it's wrong

because it takes the journey it takes

the struggle the scratching and clawing

that it takes to get to the top of the

mountain and it throws it out the window

right it completely mitigates what's

most important in the real world the one

we're living in it doesn't matter who

you are you are never entitled to a

result victory is a product of the fight

and the biggest favor you can ever do

for yourself

as you progress through life's ups and

downs through the good the bad through

rough times is know that you are going

through what every successful person

every champion every innovator in the

history of mankind has gone through

struggle is perfection in progress it's

a sign that you were in the midst of

what separates the great from average

it's a necessary step and it's the most

important step you will ever take

because 99% of people cannot see past it

the world see struggle

hardship has the time to pack it up to

walk away to be intimidated but the best

I'm telling you they look at struggle

differently just like you can't get fit

without the blood the sweat that tears

the gym you can't make deals without the

hustle you can't make things happen if

you don't move forward in the face of

adversity when the word no is staring

you in the eyes that's all part of the

process

winners walk

from Lincoln to Jordan to Oprah we've

heard the stories but so often were

hesitant to implement the work ethic the

winning formula

it doesn't change and it never will but

part of that is not being afraid to fail

right not being scared of rejection

welcome that allow you to tempt any

small failure that comes your way to

stack up so at the end of the day you

can stand on them and reach levels of

success that simply were not there a

year ago two years ago you know we

didn't decide to put a human on the moon

and expect it to happen the following

Tuesday excellence takes time

achievements take patience learning

reassessing it's a pursuit that must be

tenacious right we're getting knocked

down isn't a detriment it's a blessing

because it's refining our approach we

want that we need it overshooting your

potential will never be a problem

because if you want it bad enough you

will stress yourself you will find a way

it's aiming low that kills us that

destroys greatness at its roots because

we kill it before we even give it a

chance to grow then the safe road my

friend holds no victories only regrets

you can ask me 100 times and I will

answer the same way every single time I

would always trade discomfort now for

victory later it may seem like a lot to

ask it may appear tough but trust me the

price is much steeper later on to sit

back let life go by then wish that we

turned our opportunity into something

real so your questions your anxiety

she'd never revolver on whether or not

you're comfortable because if you want

something bad enough you know that being

uncomfortable isn't ingredient your

question should be whether you are

giving enough whether that person

next to you who wants the same thing you

want by the way we'll be able to give

the effort that you can we'll be able to

man up and make the sacrifice that you

have if you want to be the best your

mindset needs to reflect the best you

need to think differently than ordinary

people right let others focus on the tip

of the iceberg you know that excellence

lies in everything underneath the

surface in what cannot be seen that's

your gold mine that's your ticket

so take mediocrity and make it

excellence take what's yours and hold it

up for the world to see because what

hurts now in the present is the very

same thing that will transform your life

down the road

you

Veteran In Tears As He Reads 70-Year-Old Letter He Wrote To His Future Wife

Whether it's chance or fate, this World War II veteran has just had the surprise of

a lifetime thanks to a coincidental find at a thrift shop.

Ilene Ortiz was doing some thrift shopping one day when she stumbled across a letter

that was tucked inside an old record.

After reading the emotional letter, Ilene knew she had to do what she could to find

the man who wrote it.

When the letter reached its author, the man immediately broke down in tears.

That man was Bill Moore, 90, who served in the war with Patton's Third Army in Europe.

He originally wrote the letter to his eventual wife, Bernadean Gibson, 70 years ago.

While Bill read the old letter he couldn't help but laugh through the tears.

The letter read: "My darling, lovable, alluring, Bernadean, I ran out of space, but I could

have written a lot more adjectives describing you.

You are so lovely, darling, that I often wonder how it is possible that you are mine.

I'm really the luckiest guy in the world, you know.

And you are the reason, Bernadean.

Even your name sounds lovely to me."

The letter had been written in 1945.

Little did anyone know, the two would spend the next 63 years married and raising children

together.

Bill commented on the letter saying, "When you're apart for the reason, not knowing

if and when you'd ever see that person again, every chance you got to communicate was just

wonderful."

An incredibly heartwarming reminder was also a little bittersweet for the gentlemen.

It served as a reminder of their love but also as a more somber reminder of his wife's

fairly recent passing in 2010.

"It's difficult talking out loud about it to other people," he said.

"But I loved her, and she loved me.

That's all I can tell you.

It's a heartache not being with her all the time," Bill explained.

Ortiz found the letter in a record cover after a purchase at her local thrift store.

She contacted the local news hoping they would help in her search for the family connected

to the letter.

She then was lead to Melinda Gale, 48, one Bernadean and Bill's daughters.

When she read the note addressed to her deceased mother, she couldn't hold back the tears.

She claims the flowery language her father used is far from anything she would have expected

from him.

She said, "My hands were shaking when I finished reading it."

"It truly was a window into how deep their love was.

And obviously, they were married for almost 63 years.

We knew they loved each other very, very much, but as children, you don't see that.

Where it came from, that deep connection, and this was a window into their story.

He was a mechanical engineer.

I cannot believe he shared these deep emotional words with her," Melinda stated.

Melinda and her sister Gale had always had a fascination with the service their father

gave during the war.

They even planned a special trip to see the places he'd been.

"Mom had never gotten to see everywhere he had been.

We did this amazing trip so I can picture exactly where he was on December 29, 1944,

sitting in this miserable, cold, dark forest in the northern region where France, Germany,

and Belgium all meet."

Trying to explain the placement of the letter, Gale believes her mother put it there for

safekeeping since it meant so much to her.

The woman who found the letter can't remember which record it was in but Gale has a pretty

good idea which one it may have been.

She explains that her mother's song dedicated to her father was "I'll be Seeing You"

from the Broadway musical, Right This Way.

and if I close my eyes I can almost hear you song

A picture of you

A picture of you

I remember every day that I have spent with you

the look you had upon your face when I said goodbye

I don't know why I let you go but I was young and dumb

and all that I have left from that time, is a picture of you

I could talk to you for hours

and we'd stay up all night

and when morning came we'd make breakfast in bed

I don't know why I threw it all away

Lose Your Weight Without Starvation And Exercise: Lie Only 3X A Day For 5 Minutes, But In This Way! - Duration: 3:45.

Lose Your Weight Without Starvation And Exercise: Lie Only 3X A Day For 5 Minutes, But In This

Way!

It sounds so impossible but there is a fast and effective way to lose your weight that

is very easy.

Without any diet, hard exercise or spending money, Japanese physician Fukutsudzi helps

women to loose weight as soon as possible.

The Japanese described this method in his book that is sold in Asia, with a circulation

of six million copies!

According to the doctor, you don't need any special tools for loosing weight, you

only need a big towel, twine or ribbon to fasten the towel in roll, and flat surface.

You should practice three times a day for five minutes.

You just have to lie in the right position 3 times a day for 5 minutes, so easy to perform,

but very effective.

Doctor Fukutsudzi found out that the main cause of fat in the waist area is just in

variance pelvic bones and subcostal bone.

After discovering this, he devised this method to be a quick and easy way that you can solve

the surplus around the waist.

The procedure is as follows:

Towel bent to roll and wrap some tape to secure Sit on a firm surface, preferably on the floor

Bent towel put under your back, in level with the navel and then lie down (towel should

be slightly wider than the width of the back) Legs spread apart at shoulder width and bend

your feet so that they can touch only thumbs Fully extend your arms above your head, turn

the palms down and connect the small finger of your right and left hand

It sounds very simple, but this position is neither easy nor comfortable.

First few times reach out as far as you can, because it is difficult to reach the end of

the hand, but be sure to connect small fingers and thumbs on your feet.

Lie down in this position, for five minutes, three times a day.

If can't bear the pain, you can shorten the treatment to as many you can stand.

If you want to see some results try to apply this exercise every day.

Remember not to get up suddenly after completing the treatment.

First turn on side, then to the upright sitting position, and than you can get up.

Warning: You must consult your doctor if you have problems with the spine or a bone disease,

before you use this method.

This method is not difficult but it's a little uncomfortable since your bones start

returning to their natural position.

If you can't stand 5 minutes in this position, start with 1 or 2 minutes, but increase them

every day until you reach 5.

It is a kind of stretching.

If you want a perfect result you must not miss a single day.

If you want to have the effect of lifting the chest, you should move the roller or towel

under the chest.

If you want your waist to be more pronounced, put the towel on the part below the ribs.

Bones and joins, even in five minutes lying in this position, can move, so be careful.

Get up slowly, first on the side, then sit and finally stand up, avoiding sudden movements.

Maybe you don't believe in this method, but it won't cost anything to try, You should

measure your volumes before and after the treatment and you will be very surprised!

For me, after the fifth time (I don't measure after the first) is missing 2 cm in waist,

2 cm below the breast and 2 cm on the belly, and the height increased by 0.8 cm.

It's hard to believe but it's true!

In a time you will have a healthy feeling throughout the body, the pain the back stops,

because it corrects the posture.

Korean gov't announces a new comprehensive set of measures to tackle fine-dust issue - Duration: 2:13.

A comprehensive set of measures aimed at tackling the country's air pollution problem has been

announced by the environment ministry.

It's designed to help cut down the level of fine dust by 30 percent in the coming five

years... by shutting down aging coal power plants... and reducing vehicle emissions.

Cha Sang-mi outlines the plan to efficiently improve air quality.

The Korean government has promised to reduce fine dust levels in Korea's air by 30 percent

by 2022 -- the end of President Moon's five-year term.

The Environment Ministry is to suspend aging coal-fired power plants in spring when the

fine dust concentration usually peaks.

The plan involves the shutdown of seven coal plants that are over 30 years old.

(KOREAN) "We are in the process of negotiating the

conversion of four coal-fired plants into liquefied natural gas-powered plants.

We will move forward with shutting down seven old coal plants by the end of our term."

As for vehicle emissions -- another major contributor to fine dust -- the government

will impose tighter regulations and with the aim of scrapping over 75 percent of some 2-point-2

million diesel cars, and increase the number of eco-friendly and electric vehicles to up

to 2 million units.

The anti-fine dust initiative will be overseen by a task force under the Prime Minister's

Office.

The government will issue "bad day" advisories when the concentration of ultra-fine dust,

or PM 2-point-5, exceeds 35 micrograms per cubic meter.

Currently, advisories are announced when it reaches 50.

This is the same standard as in developed countries such as the U.S. and Japan.

When it comes to Korea's neighbors, like China, the environment minister said the fine dust

problem is serious enough for countries to address it not only on the minister level

but through a summit between their leaders.

The OECD has ranked South Korea the lowest among 35 advanced countries when it comes

to air quality.

To achieve the goal of a 30 percent reduction in emissions, the government will allocate

nearly 6-point-4 billion U.S. dollars.

Korea to expand playground for all children - Duration: 4:31.

The playground.

A place where time fly by as children interact and make new friends while having fun.

Unbeknownst to many of us, the common recreational features are unreachable to some.

On our news feature tonight Lee Unshin introduces to us a new wave of playgrounds that are more

inclusive, catering to the needs of kids of all abilities.

From the 1st grade to the 12th,... students at Myunghyun school are thrilled.

An outdoor playground with a sandbox, a swing, and spring rides... has arrived at last.

(Korean) "For outside activities, we take the students

hiking on the nearby mountain so they can build up their strength, or go to museums

or art centers.

But I'm so happy there's now an outdoor play area for them right here."

The school provides special education for kids with learning difficulties.

Most of some 120 students here have neuro-developmental difficulties... but there are a few who carry

physical disabilities... and for them, enjoying the rides won't be the same as it is for their

friends.

(Korean) "It breaks my heart that the students who

are in wheelchairs or walkers can't quite use the standard swings or slides like the

others."

For many, a playground is something that they grew up with, an adult-free zone to meet new

friends and play outdoor games,... and it's often taken for granted.

(Korean) "For any kid, to play is to live.

A playground is a necessary place for their social, emotional, and cognitive growth, along

with physical and coordination development through the equipment."

For that reason, Children's Grand Park in Seoul has opened a playground that's designed

for kids of all abilities to enjoy.

(standup) At a glance, this playground isn't that different

from any other one.

But when you look closely you'll notice small details, such as this wide open pathway instead

of stairs, leading up to the slide, so any child can either walk or climb up in a wheelchair.

The slide is wide enough for an adult and a child to ride down together.

There's a merry-go-round with a corner to secure a wheelchair,... basket swings that

are spacious enough to get on lying down... and a sandbox with a place for kids in a wheelchair

to come in and play.

(Korean) "This playground was built through extensive

research and lots of trial and error.

As a result its features are very safe and kids really seem to enjoy themselves here.

This is what a playground should look like, companies came here to benchmark the model.

But coming to the park can be quite a hassle, especially for those who have physical disabilities

who come here by car."

The lack of THIS kind of kid-friendly space across the nation is linked to legal matters.

Korea's anti-discrimination act for persons with disabilities and children's safety regulations,

don't specify anything about playground features for kids with disabilities.

Legal guidelines to deal with accidents or insurance problems are needed for such equipment

to be made.

(Korean) "This is long overdue by lawmakers.

So I proposed a modification act to take care of any incomplete legal or regulatory matters,

so that any child, handicapped or not, gets to enjoy the playground.

"

Kim's proposal includes providing support for the production of recreational equipment

for kids with special needs,... with the required budget backed by the government.

Something that various institutes, including Myunghyun school, have long waited for.

(Korean) "To purchase such equipment, schools, especially

private ones like ours are often met with budget issues.

If the government can appoint companies to manufacture them it will bring down prices."

So that no child is left out of the joy of playing outside.

The move is expected to lead to more inclusive recreational grounds like the one at Children's

Grand Park,... an area for all kids to just enjoy being a kid.

(Korean) "When working on the design of the playground,

I made sure the features are feasible for them, but at the same time just as enjoyable

for others.

And I wanted to highlight how adjusting small things from the conventional playground can

accommodate all children, abled or disabled."

Emotional weekend VLOG - Duration: 15:39.

It's Saturday!

Where are you going?

To run a race.

The MO-race.

Master Olofsgardens annual race.

Axel and Harry will come as well. But Harry's asleep so we'll go before them to Old Town.

We are dressed in fast clothes. But your shoes aren't great Alma.

No, you have to rub the velcro so it stick.

You're dressed in camo wear.

Yeah, I can hide behind a rock.

Exactly.

We'll bring the camera with us. And we'll see you there later.

That's great.

We're here now at the big square and the grown ups are going to run very soon.

Harry and Axel wont make it in time for this race. Here's Alma's friend Sophie.

I'm going to run now.

I'm done. Alma filmed my start but not when I crossed the finish line.

A mother of a friend filmed it though.

Who won Alma?

Alma is going to run now. Harry and Axel have just arrived. Are you excited?

Yes, I'm excited. Come on Alma!

Breath.

What a fall Alma, my darling.

That was so unexpected. Can you show me your mouth? Don't you want to show it? I'll switch the camera off.

It was messy on that square. I ran first, Alma fell over, then Harry ran. The whole day passed.

I won!

Did you?

Good.

Alma is ok. She is staying the night at a friends house. She wasn't keen to film after she fell over.

And we totally respect that.

Our filmed material isn't the best today.

A bit messy. Sorry about that.

It's like that with two young kids. You plan for one thing to happen and then something else happens.

I mean Harry was still asleep at home when the whole thing started. But best of us all today was...

Harry.

Look he's eaten his gold chocolate medal.

It's Saturday, what would you like to do this evening?

What do you think Harry?

What?

Cinema.

Would you like to watch a movie?

Yes.

Let's make a cinema in our apartment.

Yes. I know how it will end up. Me and Harry will watch the movie.

It's Sunday morning, 9:30 AM.

My stomach hurts.

Really? Don't drink anymore juice. I'll give you some milk instead.

The kids are usually not allowed to sit infront of the screen during the morning.

But since Alma's away we let Harry watch YouTube during breakfast.

It's interesting because the pace of the cartoon is slower than usual when Harry decides.

This is the best thing with Sundays. To be able to lye in bed all day.

It's so cozy, and we can build a hut.

Let's do something.

We're on our way to a clothes sale. After that we'll head out in the nice weather. Maybe a park or the forrest.

The park, the park.

He wants to go to the park.

We're going to answer the Question of the day, at the end of this vlog.

We've received loads of good questions from you guys.

Quite a few have asked about our ages. We answered that in a Q&A video not that long ago.

But I can understand that it might be boring to watch an old video if you're a new subscriber.

I mean it's a few weeks back so we'll answer it again now.

Jonathan, Julia, SweLucke, Eric, Annisen, Lena, Kajsa, Elin H, Fabian, Malte + The Sweet Alice.

And possibly a few more that I can't find now have all asked about our age. So let's tell them now.

I was born in June 1983.

How old are you then old man?

34.

Harry how old are you?

Three.

Harry is 3 years old. He was born in September 2014.

Alma was born in April 2012, she is 5 years old now.

I'm the oldest one in the family. I was born in August 1982. I'm 35 years old.

An old troll.

We've been shopping clothes for the rest of the year.

How does it feel to have only one child today?

It's double. I miss Alma, but it's nice to have alone time with Harry. I've missed spending time with him.

I've missed spending time with only you Harry.

Not much of a reaction. He doesn't know what to say.

It was different when Alma was Harry's age. She could express her emotions.

She would say; I've missed you too daddy.

If I traveled with work she would cry because she missed me.

She was in touch with her emotions although she was very young.

Harry's not like that. I can say "I love you" and he replies "ok". He doesn't know what to do with the "I love you".

Watch out!

Feel the rytm, feel the rytm.

We're back home and we've picked up Alma.

Harry and I fight a war.

Do that elsewhere, I want to spend time with Alma.

What? I'm not playing with the kids toys.

Watch out.

Get out if you're going to shoot.

Out. Close the door.

It's good to have you back.

Let me look at you.

Show your upper lip.

How does it feel after you fell yesterday.

I'm ok.

I filmed it. Would you like to see that?

Yes.

Are you ok with it being in the vlog?

Yes of course.

Do you miss us when you sleep elsewhere?

A little bit.

Alma's been staying over at friends since an early age. You like it, right?

Yes I do.

What are you up to?

Zombie war.

There are shots everywhere.

The kids have had a bath and it's time for a Sunday movie.

A viewer called Isabelle is asking; what's your favorite movie?

Shrek.

Zootopia.

What are you watching now?

Please Harry can we watch Zootopia?

No, I like Shrek. We can watch Zootopia after Shrek.

You've seen Shrek many times. I've only seen Zootopia 1,5 times.

I don't want to watch that movie, it's stupid.

What are they watching?

Hocus Pocus Alfons Aberg. It's an hour an 9 minutes long and we'll put them to bed after.

The kids are asleep and we're going to answer the question of the day.

Quite a few questions are about Alma + Harry and before their arrival.

How we chose their names. If we found out their sex before they were born. If we want more kids etc.

I've previously talked about making a video about when Harry was born. So we're going to put it all together

and make a storytime video. So we'll save those questions for a storytime with the titel...

"Becoming a parent" or something like that.

And we'll share our thoughts on having more kids. So that video will come!

We can't promise when, but we'll do it.

Ok, this is the question of the day.

It's fun, several people have asked the same thing.

Yes, 4 people. They're called: Elvis Playz, Sofie Marell, Axel Hellström and Joanna Abrell.

Nice name.

They are wondering....

Why Harry is wearing a hospital gown to bed in our last vlog.

We could do a whole storytime about this but let's tell it quickly.

Harry got febrile convulsions one night when he was a baby. His fever was so high that he cramped.

It was very scary and I called the hospital who sent an ambulance.

After examining Harry they decided to take him to hospital. Me and him went in the ambulance.

When we arrived at the hospital he threw up over himself and they gave him a gown.

That gown. It was large for him back then.

He came home in that gown and we never returned it.

Harry still sleeps in it some nights. He finds it comfortable. So that's why.

That's the answer.

Keep asking questions, we will answer at least one in every vlog.

We will probably do a Q&A again as well because you seem to wonder about things and it's fun to see.

Thank you for watching this video.

Give us a thumbs up or down so we now what you think of this video.

Subscribe if you want, you can find us on Instagram; Swedish Family.

The Swedish Family.

That's true, we talk about that. Should we have THE or not?! We'll see.

Take care until next time. Bye!
