Debt Collection 101: Episode 11– CFPB's Take On Licensing - Duration: 6:01.

Alex: Hey everybody, it's Alex and Spencer again with Debt Collection 101 on Arbeit U

Spencer: Yeah we have a very, very special episode today not only is it our

Halloween episode, we're joined by a very spooky guest. Alex: Two guest Spencer: Two guests yes

Two idiots Alex: Yeah our very own Ashley Campanella Spencer: Who you guys have probably

gotten phone calls from her, better answer, she recently returned from the

ACA in Alex: Arkansas Spencer: Yes Arkansas, Little Rock Arkansas Ashley: What a cute little town that was

Spencer: Yes and then our other guest is Alex: A little pumpkin head

Spencer: So while Ashley was away at work she learned something new right? You're gonna

tell all the fine folks at home what you learned from the ACA in Arkansas. Ashley: I would love to

tell you guys what we learned in Arkansas so one of the

biggest things we talked about was licensing actually so the number one

complaint they had in the state of Arkansas was unlicensed agencies or

phantom collectors Alex: Who, the CFPB? Ashley: Yes

Spencer: So yeah this is the number one complaint they got right? Was unlicensed agencies. Continue

Ashley: Yeah okay so we I just wanted to reiterate that the renewal process is

not a one-time deal every year you need to renew your license which is good for

legitimate agencies so you guys should want this to be enforced. Another

thing is some people don't renew so you have these agencies who are getting

penalties for not renewing and in Arkansas the penalty is actually

up to $10,000 so I'm sure no one wants to pay $10,000 to not be renewed

and it only cost $125 in Arkansas I think they range from like $125 to $200

Spencer: And there's different so they get they get a warning that they're getting over and if

they need to redo their license right that's one thing they talked

about and then they get a second letter after Ashley: After the date that they should

renew by saying that they didn't renew and they kind of give you

a warning saying like you need to do this so what Arkansas was actually

talking about doing is basically based on how long you wait to renew after that

day the penalty should be greater Spencer: So they were trying to find a, they were

trying to come up with a penalty system almost for people who don't renew their

license Alex: So the CFPB was asking the ACA Arkansas group for their feedback

Spencer: Correct Alex: Which is good yeah and one of the one of the things I mentioned was

it's gonna play roll-off people who have gone the longest without renewing their license

right the fines can be great for those people Ashley: Right but for like first time

offenders who have this was their first time not renewing their license they

could possibly just get a slap on the wrist next year if they don't renew it

obviously they would have that penalty so I think that's a great system that

they're doing that and they're not just right off the bat you got to pay $500

they're giving you an ultimatum Alex: Right so the moral of the story is

licensing is important Spencer: Yes don't don't operate your business without a license

Alex: Right and I think well it's not even a lot of people aren't doing it I think it

happens sometimes just unintentionally Spencer: Yeah like and that's

one of the things they talk about right but the they work really hard to

like let you know your license has run out and that's one of the things

they touched on Alex: So you I mean you need that if newer agencies I think don't

they don't understand this maybe they just get a license where they are and

assume now there can collect anywhere but that's not how it works you need to

be licensed in the states that you're calling and collecting debt in

Spencer: And there's companies that actually specialize in helping agencies get those

licensing Alex: Yeah there's a ton of these companies at all the bigger ACA events

there's three or four of those vendors always there so Spencer: And you could always

partner with someone who's licensed in that state Alex: Yep and have them collect debt for you

Spencer: It's an easy way of getting out of having to license

Ashley: Yeah and if you guys do continue to collect debt without a license they can

actually subpoena you and Spencer: Yes thats a great point yeah so they can actually

subpoena you and get access to more information that way so anything

Alex: So you're setting yourself up for a bigger issue

Spencer: Yes everything is now public information if you get that subpoena Ashley: Right and don't

if you do have to renew your license don't make up some lie like you have Ebola or something, thats what they said

Spencer: That was one of their excuses why they didn't renew their license, I got that ebola going around

Ashley: So just be honest and hopefully the penalty will just be less if you just be honest

Spencer: Always be honest. Alex: So in this instance the CFPB was working with the

ACA International in Arkansas going over you know realistic scenarios like just

saying "hey listen we appreciate when your honest because then we just we can

work with you to fix this problem" right? In some cases they just say okay like a

slap on the wrist just get licensed right if it's like something that

probably overlaps a little bit of time but the end of the day licensing is

important especially as you grow as an agency you need to make sure they're

licensed in every state that you're calling if you're not like Spencer said

find an agency that is to collect that debt for you or just don't collect it

but you're opening yourself up to huge issues if you're not Spencer: And this is something

Ashley touched on is this is something everyone should be concerned

about right because it's the unlicensed agencies that are the ones that

give collections a bad name Alex: They call it, what do they call that? Ashley: Phantom Collectors Spencer: So this is something the

whole collection industry needs to get behind in support Ashley: Yeah I agree

Spencer: Well thank you Ashley Ashley: Yeah this licensing make sure you renew Spencer: Yes and if

Dragon Ball Super Episode 115. Provisional title: Goku vs Kefla (Goku vs Kefura)

Kafla means Kefura, and, in the synopsis, even though it's not 100% confirmed, we can assume the name comes from the combination of Kale + Caulifla

What does that mean?

Yes sirs, we will probably see the fuse of Kale and Caulifla in Dragon Ball Super Episode 115.

How will these 2 characters fuse?

Gokú is the responsible!

He'll teach them how to fuse.

We all know Caulifla, she likes to surpass her limits and she's getting new transformations so easy.

That's why Goku will teach her the technique.

Then a new Super Warrior will be born!

Her Power will be incredible, even will surpass SSJ Blue Goku

There is another Spoiler I'd like to talk about ..

There will be another fusion, the robots from Universe 3 will fuse into one, check below images ..

Each robot can control one part of the fuse.

Koitsukai would be arms, Borareta would be legs, and Panchia would be the head, turning into a single strong Warrior.

That's why there is another theory as of why Goku will teach the saiyans how to fuse, as this Warrior will just be too strong for them.

Hence Gokú will be forced to teach the girls.

How is the health during this autumn aura?

Today we have Storytelling.

went to Częstochowa to perform a concert.

went to Częstochowa to see than concert.

The concert was really good.

Of course, the proAge repertoire I heard more than once and I know.

But for the first time I heard the band 2late

which has really cool rock songs.

On Saturday morning, Padre with proAge went to Warsaw to performe another concert.

While Agnieszka and I went to the plot, prepare it until the end of the season.

I was able to record some quick shots, because it turned out that there is a lot to do and the little time we had.

Hi everyone and welcome to the channel update video for September and October 2017.

Just like in every other update i will tell you about some news around the channel,

show you the new kits i bought and talk about the progress of my ongoing projects on the bench.

For me there are no more model shows left this year, so i do not have any appointments to share for you guys.

I hope there are some shows around your area where you can go to.

In August i was on vacation in the USA. It was a pleasant and new experience for me.

I saw and did a lot there and i also met plenty of nice people there. All in all an excellent trip there.

I walked inside the U 505 submarine in Chicago for example,

had the chance to ride on a Jagdpanzer 38 in Illinois,

in Texas i spent some time visiting various aircraft museums,

and even took part in a model building club meeting of the North Texas Plastic Modelers.

The coolest thing at the meeting there was, that i was allowed to sign a diorama built by Robert Smith.

Robert is a fan of my work and a great supporter of my channel for many years already.

It was awesome to meet him in person and to see and sign the diorama he has built in my honor.

Of course it features a Panzer III, just like it should be!

That was a very special event for me, i bet for Robert, too!

Of course i did not return with empty hands from the USA.

My host TacticalJackalope, or Andy, who is a great friend and a long-time supporter gave me two kits.

I could barely fit things into my suitcase.

The first one is a 1/72 scale Flyhawk Panzer II L.

It is a marvellous kit, i might review it for you guys soon.

The second kit is Tamiya´s 1/48 scale Ki-61. It is a brand new kit of a very interesting plane.

Awesome kit. It is different for me, i normally do not build Japanese subjects very often.

In late September the Augsburg Model Building Days took place.

It was a fairly small exhibition, which was organized by the club i am a member of.

It was very nice to meet some of you guys there, who i only know from the comment section of my videos or on Facebook.

It was a nice experience to get to talk with you guys in person, as always.

It is not a given thing that people drive there a long way just to visit a small show and talk to me.

Because of that i really want to thank you guys for showing up.

It would not have been a complete model show experience for me without spending some money on the model kit flea market. Let´s have a look at the things i brought home.

Recently i was at the model show in Ried, where i also displayed my models.

For me it is always the highlight every year, because it is a really big show with lots of visitors and shops. Always interesting to be there.

Again i´d like to thank all of you guys, who showed up and said hello to me. I am always happy to get to talk to you guys.

It can be quite interesting to see who is behind some usernames.

In Ried i decided to take part in the model building contest. I was pretty successful and won a silver medal for my Tunisia-diorama.

I am very happy about that. I´m not a guy who is keen on winning in a competition.

I just enter something into the competition as a contribution, otherwise it would be a boring thing with only a few models in the competition.

Anyway, it is a great thing for me and a nice gesture of appreciation. Makes me happy.

Since i bought a lot of stuff at the show in Augsburg already, i decided to restrain myself a bit in Ried.

I only bought this tree and some shrubs by MiniNatur.

Besides that i received this kit and a few other bits and pieces as a donation from a young fellow model builder who is watching me.

That is some awesome support. Thank you very much, you know who you are.

It is a neat kit. I almost bought it at the model show in Augsburg.

I´m glad that i was able to withstand the temptation, because now i got it for free.

Now i have something nice to say about my YouTube channel: Recently i reached 24.000 subscriptions.

I am glad that my channel still attracts so many viewers and subscribers.

It is an awesome thing and i am really honored by that.

Besides that my Facebook group also crossed a barrier, there are over 500 members now.

That is so cool. I was always under the impression that Facebook would be hard to deal with, but it is actually not true.

Everyone behaves very nicely in the group, a very positive environment all in all.

A big thank you goes to all of you, who bother to watch and read what i put out there.

I am glad that i am able to provide you with interesting content, which makes you actually return again and again.

Recently i also received a donation by Christof. He had some kits left over and wanted to get rid of them.

I am chuffed about that, thank you very much Christof.

I can put these things to use, like this accessories set by Academy. Always useful to have that stuff.

The other two kits will be used for the children model building workshop next year, because these kits are not quite suiting my interests. The kids will love it for sure!

One kit is a small submarine model by Hobby Boss.

The other one is Tamiya´s Rover Ambulance.

These are ideal kits for the children. I will host that workshop next year again, so that is a good use for the models.

Now let´s have a look at the projects on the workbench.

Here you can see the StuG III G which belongs to the "Famo-rama" diorama.

It will act as cargo for the special trailer of the Famo.

I did the following thing with the model since the last update: I added a stowage rack on the rear.

The rack is made out of photo-etched parts coming from this Verlinden set.

The kit features two different type of stowage racks and a bit of cargo. A pretty interesting set actually.

Instead of gluing the parts i soldered them.

A while ago i bought a soldering station and now i wanted to see how this all works.

It did work afterall. I am not the world´s greatest soldering expert, but maybe i will become an expert one day. It is all about exercise.

I also did some progress on the cargo of the Famo, it is pretty much complete now.

I don´t want to add more, it looks fine the way it is.

I just added a few more boxes, oil cans and some other small bits and pieces.

One part of the cargo is the motorbike, which is in fact already painted and weathered.

I used it as a demontionstration piece during the Augsburg Modelling Days.

I did a workshop about weathering there and this was the demonstration piece.

It turned out pretty nicely. The people coming to that workshop were quite amazed by the simplicity of the process.

The diorama also requires some accessories.

I painted a few of them already. This paint set by Vallejo called "old and new wood effects" was very useful here. The paints get the job done.

This is a wheelbarrow by PlusModel.

The ladder comes from a MiniArt set and the wheel is by Royal Model i think.

With the exception of the ladder all is resin. The details are nice all in all.

Should look fine on the diorama.

One question i can not yet answer is, which cargo the Opel Blitz truck will carry.

No useful idea comes to my mind right now.

Of course i could just pack it with various things like i did with the Famo, but it would look weird if both vehicles had pretty much the same type of cargo.

I don´t like that, i want to see something different in there.

So far i haven´t found something that convinces me.

I will have to think about this a bit longer. I am sure in the end i will come up with something that meets my ideas.

As you can see i also managed to make some progress on the diorama, too. A lot happened here since the last update.

The retaining walls are finished and some guide posts by Model Victoria were added. They have the correct shape of those, which were common in Italy back then.

Some stones got glued on around the hills and the streambed, in order to achieve a rather mountainous look.

Then i proceeded with painting the walls and stones, along with the shed.

I started to work on the flora as well. The shrubbery/small trees are by MiniNatur.

They look very convincing to me. I glued them in after drilling holes. That way they are securely attached.

The diorama is not far away from getting finished.

The next step will pretty much be the completion of the diorama base, which means putting on earth and grass and all those things. That should not be too time consuming.

Then i will deal with the vehicles, paint them and weather them. The finish line is not far away.

Since the last update most of my work time was spent on the Famo.

This means that i did not make any progress on the other projects. I apologize for that.

I want to finish the "Famo-rama" fairly quickly, because it consumes a lot of space in my workshop. It will be cool to see it all done.

As soon as the Famo is out of the way i can continue working on these will full force, especially when it comes to the building review of the Schneider tank.

Alright, now we take a look at the other kits i bought since the last update.

As you can see i am well supplied with modern kits.

I want to review one or the other kit for you in the upcoming weeks.

Before you feel compelled to say something silly about the Sherman kit i am going to explain it for you right away:

This kit is reserved for the Sherman group build hosted by Shane Smyth.

It is quite an interesting affair, especially for those who are not into the subject, like myself.

One likes to broaden his horizon a bit, maybe a Sherman kit is a good starting point for that.

Besides that i want to try out some more Hobby Boss kits. Their 1/48 scale kits look very interesting to me.

5 Must Read Books For STRANGER THINGS Fans with GirlReading | #BookBreak - Duration: 5:44.

Hi guys! I'm Kate from the YouTube channel GirlReading and I've spent the

past year pining for season 2 of Stranger Things to start. Whether or not

you've watched the show you're probably at least somewhat familiar with Stranger

Things but if not, very simply put, it is a Netflix original series that premiered

in 2016 and it is set in a small town in America

and basically follows the disappearance of a young boy and the strange

circumstances in which his mother, the chief of police and his misfit group of

friends have to face in order to get him back. There are secrets and superpowers

and murder alongside family, friendship, love and humor and it is basically a

total emotional rollercoaster. So, if you're like me desperately waiting for the next

series to start or you're watching this having already watched it and you're not

entirely sure what to do with yourself anymore, today I thought I would share

with you some bookish recommendations that hopefully may help to fill that

Stranger Things hole in your heart at least until you inevitably decide to

binge watch it from season 1 all over again. I have a somewhat eclectic mix of

books to recommend today: from young adults to adult to graphic novels but

each recommendation I do have is based off one or more specific element of

Stranger Things so hopefully I'll have something in here that contains an

aspect of the show that you especially love. My first recommendation is based

on the Upside Down, alternate reality aspect of Stranger Things and that is

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch. This follows Jason Desson who is a father, a husband

and a scientist as his world is turned completely upside down as one night,

after a night out Jason is followed home and knocked unconscious. When he is woken

up by a masked stranger, he finds himself in his life, but a life that has

completely changed. He is now a celebrated genius instead of a teacher,

his wife is not his wife and his son was never born. We follow Jason as he tries

to untangle the mess he's found himself in whilst also tried to work out which

of these words is real and trying to get back to the world he once knew.

Dark Matter plays with the idea of an alternate reality in a way that will

totally mess with your mind and make you question and think about everything your

life is and everything it could have been and all the what-ifs of life. It's

basically perfect if you were looking for a more scientific, realistic

explanation of the possibility of alternate universes and the Upside Down.

My next recommendation is one that I genuinely, the entire time I was reading it,

couldn't stop thinking about how perfect it would be for fans of

Stranger Things and that is The Call by Peadar O'Guilin: this is a young adult novel

set in an island that has been cut off from the rest of the world and is

basically a place where at any moment children and teenagers are at risk of

being Called and disappearing into a horrific other world in which they have

to spend the entire day fighting for their lives against the Sidhe who are

essentially these kind of evil fairies and this basically follows a group of

teens at a boarding school where they have been trained to fight to survive in

this ruthless other world, despite the fact that the majority of the people

that do end up being Called are either murdered whilst there or they've returned

extremely injured or mutilated in a multitude of ways. This is bizarre and

creepy and gruesome and surprisingly disturbing for a young adult book and

honestly if this and the show hadn't have been released around the same time,

I would have thought one had inspired the other and that's not because they're

exactly the same but they both do have very similar elements to them. If you

enjoyed the show I'm certain you will love this and if you enjoyed this I'm

also certain that you will really enjoy the show. If the 80s setting and group of

badass kids fighting monsters is what sucked you into Stranger Things then i

110 percent recommend Paper Girls which is a graphic novel, following four 12 year

old paper girls on the morning after Halloween in 1988 when they essentially

encounter an alien invasion. There's time-travel, vanishing

townspeople, spacecrafts, these giant flying dinosaur bird kind of things. The

art style and colors in this are absolutely gorgeous. You're basically

dropped right into the action from the first page. It's incredibly fast paced

plus it is the start of an ongoing series so although you will probably get

through this quite quickly, there are currently three volumes out with more to

come. For those of you looking to read something with magic and elements

similar to Eleven's powers, I have Gilded Cage by Vic James. This is a YA novel

set in a modern-day Britain in which the magic users control everything; from

wealth to power to politics and the people. If you are not one of the magical

elite, the ultimate one-percenters, then you owe them ten years of your service.

If you do those years when you are old, you'll never get through them but if you

do them when you are young, you'll never get over them. This follows two families

that have absolutely nothing in common except that they each have three

children but after one family enters the service of the other, their destinies

begin to entwine. This is another one that is the start of a series so

you'll definitely be able to get your alternate-reality, special power Stranger

Things fix from it for quite a while. For my last Stranger Things inspired

book recommendation, I couldn't not mention IT by Stephen King. It follows a

gang of kids investigating a horrifying force terrorizing their town. It is set

in the 80s. It is dark, it is twisted (even more so than Stranger Things) and I'm

going to be honest, I have not watched nor have I read IT by Stephen King because I

have enough trouble sleeping as it is. I have seen and heard it being compared to

Stranger Things so many times even I can't deny the similarities between the

two stories plus the new movie adaptation has just been released, giving

you even more opportunities to get your Stranger Things fix. So those are the

books that I would most definitely recommend to any Stranger Things fan

looking to fill that Stranger Things void and I really hope that I have

mentioned something that has intrigued you. If so, I would absolutely love to

what are some of the perks to staying in a Walt Disney World Resort down in

Orlando Florida well in the next few weeks to come I'm going to be sharing

some of those with you in today's video I'm going to be sharing a perk that is

very beneficial especially when you're going to Walt Disney World in the busier

times of year and that is securing your Fastpass plus reservations 60 days in

advance of your check-in date hello everyone and welcome back to my

channel my name is coral and I am the owner of coral joy travel a travel

agency specializing in all Disney vacations and yes today I'm going to be

talking a little bit about Fast Pass Plus reservations if you don't already

know what Fast Pass Plus reservations are I will link to a video that will

help you explain what they are but a perk that guests staying at Walt Disney

World Resort Hotels get is the ability to have first access and all of these

rides that have the Fast Pass plus reservation line Disney Resort guests

can snag these reservations for most of these popular rides 60 days before their

arrival date at Walt Disney World guests staying at a hotel off Disney property

or if they're just visiting for the day from Florida they can make their

reservations 30 days in advance what does that really mean just do 30 days

really make that much of a difference for Disney Resort Hotel guests the

answer is absolutely there are some very popular rides and especially now that

pandora is open it's been open since May of 2017

these Fast Pass reservation rides will be snagged up by most Disney Resort

Hotel guests and then guests staying off property will not be able to get a

Fastpass reservation for those rides and will have to wait in the regular standby

line some people don't mind that but others who are on a time constraint and

don't want to be waiting hours for one ride will realize the value in staying

at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel so this is a perk in these next couple

weeks I'm going to be sharing the perks to staying at a Walt Disney World

Resort Hotel let me talk about the most popular rides right now to get a Fast

Pass Plus reservation form if you can number one is flight of passage that is

right in pandora this is the hottest ride right now and that's an animal

kingdom the next probably hottest ride I would say is frozen ever after in Epcot

as well as soaring around the world in Epcot test track in Epcot for Magic

Kingdom the most popular ride seemed to still be Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Peter

Pan's flight Space Mountain Splash Mountain those are the big ones in Magic

Kingdom and those tend to get snagged up first and in Hollywood studios it's

definitely Toy Story Midway mania and rock and roller coaster as well as Tower

of Terror those are the most popular rides that you can get Fast Pass the

sports if you do stay on Disney World property you can make these Fast Pass

reservations 60 days before you arrive on your vacation and you can make it for

the entirety of your vacation actually up until 10 days if your vacations

longer than 10 days you can only make it for the first 10 days what ride is your

favorite ride to get a Fastpass core let's put it that down in the comments

Oh, It sure wouldn't be fun if everybody did it!

If we all threw our trash on the ground?

There'd be no room to run and play The trash would be piled in mounds!

The air would be smelly and filled with flies Every day, the garbage would double in size

Using Earth as a dumpster just wouldn't be wise
