MTB accessori Luce notturna Magicshine MJ 902 12% sconto - bike light combo mountain biking tube - Duration: 7:36.

hello to everyone. Like maybe some of you already know, before going to work

I like to ride about 30 minutes with my MTB

I get up at 6am, and at 6:15am I'm on the bike regardless of the weather conditions.

Pass the first five minutes of shock, where I regret for not being in bed,

everything else is pure libido

I love the sparkling air in the morning

Why am I doing it? Why the day start thinking first about myself,

my own necessity, to my passion, and then I think of what I'm obliged .

to do, that is, work. Said this, the more you go in the cold autumn and winter,

and more the mornings become wildly dark. To pedal

in security ,you need to think of one adequate illumination. The past

season I used a light which illuminated as a cemetery lamp.

this year instead, thanks to you and to channel growth,

I was contacted by Banggood, a well-known e-commerce store

who proposed me to review some of their products

I was delighted, but not completelly sure about, in fact I did not accept it right away,

but I waited four five months, because for the evaluation of products

should not have any kind of forcing, and the honesty with you

must be maximum. As soon as Banggood has given me complete

freedom of evaluation, I accepted and I presented him a list of 250 articles

I would like to review. Mr. Banggood said to me, "My Friend,

stay calm, dry the boil, and start slowly".

So I got it thought of my pity, and I took a bike light

Magishine MJ-902

it is consisting of two frontal lights very compact led with four modes

three stable and one flashing, plus a small one rear light. Well guys, I think

this is what I was waiting for

It arrives directly from Hong Kong and this will help me to ride.

earl in the morning in the dark. Let's see if that's what I say

Here it is, it's here finally. Let's open it.

And here is the complete set.

We start from the instructions, a guide very simple and very intuitive explains

in detail everything you want to know in a few words. The two lights,

front and rear, are really small and powerful

This is the battery to attack at the bike and then you have to plug the lights

in this adapter, you plug the 2 wires of the lights to the adapter.

For recharge the battery you use the

transformer. It has a led indicator, if red means it's in charge

when it becomes green it means that charge is complete. You connect it to the battery

and then to the classic plug so as to load everything.

These are the elastic for the lights. And this is to fix the battery to the bike

then we have a remote control for the light. You can change the power of the light.

30%, 50% and 100% plus flashing mode. This is wifi

And here is the complete final setup. The light

is really tiny. Look compared to my hand as it is small. Then

there is the switch to turn on or shutdown, which honestly is not needed

because you can turn on from here

this is needed if you put the light on the helmet. Going on

there is the battery mounted and fixed on the boat. Finally we have the back light

really tiny with functionality flash or fixed.

To turn on, like said, you can use this button.

An explosion fantastic, 3 hours of autonomy at 100% of intensity.

50% intensity- 5 hours of autonomy

At 30% 15 hours of autonomy and then there is the blinking feature

for seven hours you could use it a disco light effect

What I'm going to do now is to compare the dead light I used for a year, this one from the cemetery

With the new one

So this is the light of the cemetery

and this is the new one

what a difference. Let's try again

This is the light od the cemetery

and tzhis...

Ok, now be serious otherwise Mr. Banggood could get pissed

A perfect light, wonderful! Recommendation, the headlights

for classify as sufficiently powerful must have

at least a thousand lumens. This one has 2000 lumen, but there are

some with 8,000 lumens. The light can be mounted either

on the helmet on the handlebar. Because the path I ride

in the morning is very linear, I mounted it on the handlebars, but it would be

preferable on helmet, so the light will follow the direction of our head

and then of the look. The result is that the direction you look at will always be illuminated

The overwhelming solution would be two lights, one on the helmet and one on the

handlebar. There are shadows that do some special effects.

Latest information. In description you will find two links. The first relative

to this bike light, in case you want to see it all the specifications

the second link will open the web page of Banggood site. All over

the menu "Sport and outdoor activities"

you can get 12% discount using the coupon

you'll find in the description that is: sportO with the final o uppercase. There are no

Shipping costs. As you can see I bought a small bell, I inserted the

coupon: sportO, the discount has been applied automatically and then I closed

the transaction without additional charges. I'll get all in two three weeks

To be clear, I do not gain anything

in the sense that if you buy they do not give me a percentage

the only advantage I will have is that perhaps in the future I could send me

And that is it. I must admit that

riding in the forest at night is really special, adrenaline and

even puts one some apprehension, because the light shadow effect is a bit disturbing

What the hell is that?

...and with this, we can say good bye to the collaboration with the online store

Cheers and have a good Halloween

How To Replace Your PenTouch Nib - Duration: 1:37.

Let's review how to replace your PenTouch paint marker and Calligrapher nibs

You'll need Sakura's PenTouch replacement nibs, which are available at selected art supply stores

We offer 5 different nib sizes, including PenTouch extra fine, fine, and medium

as well as PenTouch Calligrapher fine and medium

Each replacement tip will only work with its corresponding barrel

For example, the 0.7mm extra fine nib is only compatible with the extra fine PenTouch marker

First, hold the marker vertically with the nib facing upward and remove the cap

Next, use a folded tissue to pull out the tinted nib

so the permanent ink doesn't get on your fingers

Most replacement nibs have different tips on each end

so make sure the nib is inserted the same way the old one is removed

Lastly, insert the replacement nib into the nib holder

and gently push down on the nib to place it into the valve chamber

It is important NOT to insert the nib at an angle

because it may unseat the internal holding mechanism of the marker

Now, shake the marker with your finger on top of the closed cap and point the nib upwards

The paint is sufficiently mixed when you hear

the clicking sound of metal agitation ball inside the barrel

Remove the cap and depress the nib downward until the ink flows out

Your PenTouch marker is now ready to use

CRANCHI CSL 28 [test in acqua] - Duration: 8:30.

Cranchi CSL 28: the union between an elegant boat and a sport one. It was not

easy but Cranchi did it really well. It has a lenght of

almost 8 meters, this sport boat has two powerful engines

which will entertain you during your summer holidays. It has sportiness,

elegance but it is also designed in order to

to enjoy it with your family. In fact you have a lot of space where to relax.

It has a big sundeck in the back, another big one in the bow and

furthermore a cabin with a separate toilette. Now let me

show you all the details of this boat.

Today the sun is not at its best, it is half covered and the light is not

amazing, but this boat really is, in fact everything is brand new here.

The stern platform has a really easy access and as a consequence

it is very comfortable to get in and out from the water, but I'm not gonna

show you that today. Surely a very important think on this boat is its

sun deck in the back, a classic for a sport boat.

It is a very comfortable double sun deck which you will surely use a lot in the

hot summer days. As you can see this boat is characterised by exellent finishing. In fact

it is finished with tech which is really good looking and very comfortable

to the touch. The advantagne on having

a sun deck of this size and length is that it gives you enough space

on the side to walk comfortably on the boat without the need of climbing over your guests

that are maybe sunbathing or just relaxing.

Furthermore you can also get in the boat without walking on the

cuscins, through this comfortable passage. The back of the boat is

equipped with one very big couch that can fit 4 people and is placed

next to the sun deck, in the cockpit, where you spend most of the time.

Here you also have the possibility to add a central table

which already comes with the boat and makes everything more comfortable and

enjoyable. However, if you don't want to spend all your time here

sitting on the couch with the risk of burning your head

you just have to open this bimini top that covers

all the central area of the boat and stay under the shade.

I told you about sportiness and elegance but

what about comfort?

In the cockpit, behind the driving seat

there is also this little kitchen with one

induction hob, a little kitchen sink and obviously a little fridge

for all your beers . A particular feature that only this boat has is

the central roll bar, this peninsula

that helps you holding the antenna or the lights,

to light up the cockpit during

the night. It is really good looking and

useful. Here you have the dashboard of this boat

that is obviously fully equipped. From this dashboard

you can control all the instruments Volvo Penta. In fact this boat is equipped with

two 220 hp Volvo Penta 4300.

Furthermore it is also equipped with one depth gauge and one electric speedometer.

This is a really new electronic instrumentation. It also has

one Garmin gps fishfinder that

gives you all the informations you need to sail besides all the

switches you can use to control all the equipment of this boat.

To get on the sun deck in the bow there are

two very comfortable steps just here under my feet.

I just open the windshield, hold these handles in order not to fall

and hurt myself. So here I am

on this very large and comfortable sun deck where I can enjoy my day out in the sea.

Few seconds ago I told you about a cabin. This is a sport boat so it is not very high

but nevertheless it is

a very beautiful, elegant and comfortable cabin.

You can get in thanks to two steps that are inside the cabin, follow me,

I'm going to show you it all. If you want to spend the night here

you can use this very big double bed, lie down, relax and sleep so you can sail again

the day after. Look at

all the space you have here. You can easily go for a vacation with this

boat. Don't worry for air and light, here above you there is a

a big porthole that can be opened and furthermore you also have others two sideways.

Behind this door on the right side there is

the separate toilette.

Look how beautiful and spacious it is inside.

Well, as usual I have talked too much and I can't wait to test this boat

and make you feel all the emotions that I feel sailing it.

This is my friends' favourite boat, especially a friend of mine is

totally in love with it

so let's go have some fun, follow me.

Wow, this has been an amazing test on the lake. Today I really had so much fun,

I felt safe. This is a boat equipped with two very quite and powerful engines.

We reached the speed of 35 knots but it sails well even at 21-22 knots.

At this point you just have to come here and see it with your

own eyes and touch it with your own hands.

This boat is on the Garda Lake, at Barche Bellandi in Desenzano, near Lonato.

You just have to contact us and to do so you can find all our contacts in the description

down below.

So if you want you can contact us, call us, e-mail us and make an appointment to come,

see it and make it yours soon.

Don't be a Shy Guy! - Mushroom Detection Contraptions in Super Mario Maker - Duration: 7:51.

When people see mario they see a heroic character.

Mario is an unbelievably great guy, the best jumper in the world, a superhero who saved

the whole galaxy, twice.

Mario is a hero.

But what people don't know is that what they see of Mario is only a facade because

deep inside Mario is a shy person.

A person lacking self confidence.

While Mario is able to defeat the most dangerous monsters he completely fails at doing his

day job and just got fired recently and while Mario is willing to jump through castles filled

with lava in order to save princess peach he still hasn't found the courage to ask

her out for a date.

Because deep inside Mario is a Shy Guy.

It's finally time for mario to fight his shyness.

The national psychological mushroom research center for shyness related personality disorder

designed a therapy in cooperation with bowser to help our poor plumber.

They designed a Mario Maker level where Mario has to defeat his inner shy guy in order to

proceed, a mario maker stage where mario has to avoid to reenter the behavioural pattern

of a shy guy with which he has lived his whole life up until this day.

It's a therapy stage which might finally help Mario to overcome the shy guy in himself.

But he has to be careful, because if he transforms into a shy guy once again, everything collapses.

So are you ready?

Let's do this!

The therapy is a six step program.

The first step is rather easy for our plumber.

He finds himself as a shy guy in this room.

To his right is a door which leads him back to the beginning of this room.

This represents Marios inner circle of fear which always puts him back at the start when

he believes that he achieved something.

The only way for our shy plumber to break this vicious cycle is by being brave for once.

Here he has to take all his courage and to jump directly into this cannonball in order

to defeat the shy guy in himself at least for a moment.

If he succeeds he will learn that new paths open up if he is brave.

This was the first step.

The next step is meant to teach mario not to drop back into his old patterns again.

Here Mario is confronted with situations which usually lead to a backslip into his shy behavior.

This lesson uses operant conditioning via punishment.

If mario drops back into his shy behavior the whole stage collapses and our plumber

makes a horrific experience.

His only chance to proceed is by completely avoiding the shy guy behavior in himself.

It looks like Mario made it, wow what a therapeutic success.

Hooray, only four steps to go.

Now Mario has to learn to fight his shy guy behavior back fast whenever it occurs in him.

He is transformed into a shy guy once again and unable to proceed through this therapy

stage until he learns to get rid of his shy behavior fast.

The only chance mario has in order to fight against the shy guy in himself here is to

reach this ignited bob omb fast, so that the explosion damages the shy guy in himself and

his real inner self comes free.

This allows him to proceed through this therapeutic stage since, this opens up new paths in marios

live.

In the previous step Mario had to learn to leave the shy guy behind as fast as possible,

and now it's all about not becoming a shy guy when he is not able to command the speed

at which things move forward.

Mario has to avoid all the possibilities of becoming a shy guy here once again, because

if he fails, everything collapses.

Literally, because it makes the ceiling collapse and drops munchers onto our poor plumbers

head.

Wow that's really rough.

I'm really happy that shyness is considered to be a completely normal part of a person's

personality in our real world because I'm not sure if I would have been able to survive

such a therapy.

Anyway step five is all about internalizing the lessons which mario learned during step

three.

Here he has to get rid of his shy guy behavior fast once again.

There is a sawblade at the top, if mario manages to bravely jump into it he is able to leave

the shy costume of his personality behind, but if he isn't fast enough the path to

the wonderful sawblade becomes blocked and he has to retry the challenge since the path

to the final and last step of this stage only opens up for mario as mario.

The last step has no punishment.

It s all about marios inner wish not to be a shy guy any more.

He is confronted with yum yum shy guy mushrooms, a chance to drop back into his old behavior,

but he is free to decide to completely ignore them once and for all as well.

It's mario's free choice how he wants to end this therapy stage as a shy guy or as

a heroic plumber.

If he decides to end it as a heroic plumber he is rewarded with tons of 1 up mushrooms

and allowed to touch the top of his old friend the flagpole.

If the therapy failed however he is still allowed to end the stage, but no one up mushrooms

are granted to him.

Okay, after this huge therapeutic success there is only one question to answer.

How does this stage work.

Well it's actually surprisingly easy, but really clever.

So a while ago I played through a couple of levels you wonderful people left me in the

comments and I stumbled over this really clever stage made by Zach.

In this level eating a power up is lethal for mario since it makes the floor disappear.

The reason why this works is because of the mushroom to fire flower power up.

So if we drag a mushroom onto a fireflower it becomes either a fire flower or a mushroom

once loaded depending on whether mario is currently small or not.

We can abuse this mechanic to create a door which only opens up if mario is small.

This small mechanism does the trick.

If this contraption is loaded when mario is small the mushroom triggers the note block

which activates the shelmet which triggers a pow block.

Hooray.

But if this contraption is loaded while mario isn't small a fire flower spawns instead

of a mushroom and nothing happens.

This is how the small mario only door works, but how do we collapse the stage if mario

ate a mushroom?

Well we use the same mechanism but the other way around.

Here the contraption only gets triggered if a fire flower is loaded.

If a mushroom is loaded the mushroom travels on top of the conveyor belt and gets entrapped

behind a one way door which deactivates this contraption.

But if a fire flower is loaded the fireflower travels to the left triggers the note block

which triggers the shelmet which triggers this brick block which triggers a p-switch

which triggers the floor and makes it collapse.

This works really reliably but there is a small problem, this contraption only works

once, once the room is loaded and only resets when the room is reloaded.

Okay so that's mainly it but before we end this little video I have to reveal our latest

magic trick!

So we took a look at this stage where bowsers are shooting fireballs out of an unloaded

area.

The reason why there are bowsers, is really simple and many of you actually guessed right.

There are stacked bowsers on top of a block on tracks when the room is loaded.

This track travels above the current screen border and places the bowsers outside of the

current border.

That's actually a really interesting trick with a lot of potential because this allows

us to get basically all enemies outside of the camera border, and there has to be something

crazy possible because of this.

I don't have a new magic trick for you this week, because tomorrow super mario odyssey

releases (hype train noise) and the next couple of videos on this channel will be odyssey

related.

I hope you enjoyed this little video, if you enjoyed it leave me a thumbs up and maybe

you feel especially not like a shy guy anymore today and want to hit the subscribe button

as well.

I hope that you have a wonderful day and to see you soon, goodbye!

Halloween Lookbook (For When You Can't Wear a Costume) - Duration: 6:29.

- Hello, hello, hello my friends!

Kaitlyn here and let's do a Halloween lookbook.

I feel like if Wednesday Addams was going to pick some

glasses from my collection, she would pick these.

(spooky music)

So you wanna know what sucks?

When you get out of like elementary school,

but definitely middle school,

essentially, by the time you get to high school,

and then college, and then definitely the working world,

it's kinda frowned upon to wear costumes

to whatever you're doing on the day of Halloween.

So I wanted to create something for people

who can't necessarily wear a costume

when they go to school or to work

but they still want to celebrate the holiday.

So for outfit number one,

we go straight into cutesy Halloween.

No one is gonna be able to tell you that

you cannot wear this outfit to school or work.

So I've had this orange,

jack'o'lantern shirt for a few Halloweens

and I always love pairing it with some kind of skirt

and this year, I discovered, from ModCloth,

this adorable pumpkin and cat skirt.

So, basically, put them together

and it is the most magical and adorable

Halloween outfit that I could've come up with.

(peppy Halloween tune)

♫ Spooky, scary, skeleton send shivers down your spine

♫ Shrieking skulls will shock your soul

♫ Seal your doom tonight

♫ We're so sorry, skeletons, you're so misunderstood

♫ You only want to socialize but I don't think we should

♫ Spooky, scary, skeletons shout startling shrilly screams

♫ They'll sneak from their sarcophagus

♫ And just won't leave you be

For outfit number two,

we went with the classic inspiration of Wednesday Addams.

So, basically, you've got to go with some sort

of black dress or top that has a white collar.

Also to make the dress longer,

because I don't want to show everyone my butt,

I put under the dress this tulle black skirt.

One of my favorite styles for shoes to wear

are these super high, wedge Mary Janes.

And then add to it these cutesy cutesy cute

little white hose socks.

There's just something about it that makes it look

extremely lolita, and just adorable and I felt like

this is something that my Wednesday Addams version

would wear.

And I would've put my hair in braids

but I recently got it cut

and there're a whole bunch of layers

and it just doesn't really braid right now so

I went with pigtails instead.

(Addams Family theme)

♫ They're creepy and they're kooky

♫ Mysterious and spooky

♫ They're all together ooky, the Addams family

Outfit number three is Hocus Pocus inspired, of course.

Now you could choose whichever of the witches to draw

inspiration from but I knew that I had purple and green,

kind of flowing styles in my wardrobe,

so I went with Winifred.

I've got a purple lace dress, which underneath

I layered a kind of similar colored lavender tulle skirt.

I have way too many tulle skirts.

That was very popular a few years ago

and I bought them in all the colors

because it helps me extend regular dresses

and give them kind of the "poofiness" that I enjoy.

But it looked really great with this.

And then I put an olive green duster vest over top

and cinched it together with a cool, corset style belt.

To round out the green and purple,

I wore some olive, heeled, lace up booties.

The lace up ankle boots in that style just

look like witches shoes to me.

Also I tried doing my hair in double buns

but it just didn't really work out.

It didn't look the way that I wanted it to.

I couldn't get it to tease out as much as I wanted

so I just scrapped that and went with

kind of a pooffy top to my normal curls.

♫ I put a spell on you

♫ And now you're gone

♫ Gone, gone, gone, so long

♫ My whammy fell on you

♫ And it was strong

♫ So strong, so strong, so strong

♫ Your wretched little lives have all been cursed

♫ 'Cause of all the witches working, I'm the worst

♫ I put a spell on you

♫ And now you're mine

And, finally, we have outfit number four.

Which is inspired by Jack Skellington

from the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Now the questions always is,

is the Nightmare Before Christmas a Halloween movie

or a Christmas movie?

This was actually the last outfit that I picked out

because I have this black tee

with a silver ribcage on the front of it

and I was like, I really want to wear it!

But I didn't know what character

or kind of style that I could go with

and I was like, wait, Jack Skellington is a skeleton.

So, from there, I paired it with

a black and white, striped skort,

plus some black tights,

and then I have these super cool, metallic, silver boots.

And I was like, yes!

I feel like Jack would wear this.

I also have a white, cape blazer.

But I felt like since Jack is the pumpkin king,

he would definitely wear something like this.

♫ This is Halloween, this is Halloween.

♫ Halloween

♫ Halloween

♫ Halloween

♫ Halloween.

♫ In this town we call home

♫ Everyone hail to the pumpkin song

♫ La-La-La-La-La Halloween

♫ La-La-La-La-La Halloween, Halloween

♫ La-La-La-La-La Halloween, Halloween

♫ La-La-La-La-La Halloween

Whoa!

Okay, that was a lot of Halloween and fashion and music

and it was (screams).

So, yesterday, before I filmed this video,

I saw a bunch of my friends and they were like,

"So, Kaitlyn, what are you gonna be for Halloween?"

And I was like, "I don't know,

"I don't really have a costume.

"Like I made the Emma Swan cosplay earlier,

"so I guess if I went to a party I could wear that."

In the process of making this video,

I realized how good some of these outfits were.

They're not just inspired but with a little bit

of creativity with hair and makeup and stuff,

you could really make them into costumes if you wanted.

So this is not just a lookbook.

It's also a, you know, if you wanna

have a costume for Halloween (clicks tongue)

I got you covered!

Whoo whoop!

So, which was your favorite look?

Make sure you tell me, down in the comments.

I really loved them all,

but I think the Hocus Pocus one was my favorite

because when I was picking out things

it was my least favorite but once I put the outfit on,

I was like, wow!

I look really awesome in this!

And I feel like, witchy and cool.

So that's my favorite.

I may try to wear it.

Like actually on Halloween or something (laughs).

Plus remember that you can check me out on these other social media sites.

Come hang out with me and my cat and my coloring projects!

Thanks for hanging out with me today guys!

I hope this video made you smile! And I will see you guys on Thursday! Bye!

25 Uncomfortable Things You Need To Do If You Don't Want To Regret Your 20 s - Duration: 5:57.

25 Uncomfortable Things You Need To Do If You Don't Want To Regret Your 20s

1.

Have the courage to say when something isn't working.

2.

Have the courage to commit when something is.

3.

Take a look at yourself and ask: If I stopped growing tomorrow, is this the person I would want to be for the rest of

my life?

4.

Decide what doesn't matter, so you can invest your time and money into what does.

5.

Think regularly about how you would live your life if social media didn't exist,

if you weren't documenting your every move, or if you didn't have glossy, edited pictures to compare yourself to.

6.

Stop overreacting.

7.

Have something to talk about that isn't other people, and your judgments of them.

8.

Stop worrying about inane things like whether or not you are "fat." Nobody will be at your funeral blessing your life

because you maintained one pant size.

How you look is not an accomplishment.

9.

Ask questions about other people more than you make statements about yourself.

10.

Stop trying to have the most nuanced, complex opinions more than you try to be the kindest,

most empathetic person you know.

11.

Cut yourself some slack.

One of the biggest regrets most people have about their 20s is that they didn't enjoy them more.

And I'm not talking about "buy more expensive dinners, take another trip to Thailand" type of enjoyment.

I mean having the ability to take a deep breath and sip coffee in the morning knowing that you have done,

and are doing, your best.

12.

Read books.

13.

Learn how to be nice.

This is the most insanely powerful life hack, and yet the most overlooked.

Learn how to genuinely be nice to people.

This will get you farther than anything else.

14.

Live so death has nothing to steal.

Leave everything on the table.

Don't hold back your thoughts, your love, your creativity for another day.

That path leads you to becoming a fraction of the person you were meant to be.

15.

Stop saying you want to be in a forever relationship, and be in one.

Your soulmate relationship is something you build, not something you stumble upon.

If you don't figure this out, you will be perpetually disappointed by the person you end up with.

16.

Live within your means.

If you don't learn to do this when you have little, you won't be able to do it when you have more.

High-earning people can also be the most indebted and financially unstable,

because they are always living just a bit outside of what they can afford.

17.

Accomplishments don't change your life, habits do.

18.

Write a mission statement and use it as your guideline.

Define your most essential values and make sure your thoughts, actions and decisions align with them.

This is how you live an honest life.

19.

Don't burn bridges.

Learn to bow out of friendships, relationships, jobs and parties with grace.

20.

Ask for the truth.

21.

Be in the discomfort that's leading you to your bad habits.

Whatever it is that's holding you back in your life is actually a symptom of some unmet need.

Figure out what it is, and feed it in a healthy way.

Your external issues will start to dissolve as you do.

22.

Recognize the ways in which you've projected blame onto others.

"What you love in people is what you love about yourself; what you hate in people is what you can't see in yourself."

23.

Learn to seek purpose more than you do pleasure.

Pleasure does not change your life, it makes discomfort bearable.

Purpose makes discomfort worth it.

Don't let comfort be your first virtue.

24.

Home is where you make it, so make it somewhere.

25.

Break free from the illusion that what you see on Instagram is "real life." It is not "real life." It is a highly

curated, aspirational, photoshopped, filtered vignette.

Bonus!

26.

Learn to be happy here, now, today.

If you do not learn how to be happy in the present, no job, no partner, no success, no trip, no money,

nothing that you are working for will be as enjoyable as you think.

You cannot save up your happiness to be released when you think you deserve it.

You either have it now, or you have it never.

Bernie Sanders And Democrats Team Up To Lower Prescription Drug Prices - Duration: 3:42.

A group of Senate Democrats along with Independent Senator Bernie Sanders have introduced legislation

that would finally allow the federal government to negotiate drug prices for their Medicare

Part D program.

Now, this is a program that the federal government puts out there that allows senior citizens

to use this program to buy their prescription medications.

As it was written, the government is not allowed to negotiate the prices of these drugs that

they pay for with the pharmaceutical industry.

That was specifically written into the piece of legislation.

Bernie Sanders, Elijah Cummings, and Peter Welch are actually trying to undo this.

Why?

Because the federal government shouldn't be ripped off for the price of prescription drugs

when they're paying for nearly 75% of the RND for these drugs to begin with anyway.

Now, don't get me wrong.

Nobody in this country should be ripped off the way we are when we have to go buy prescription

drugs, but this piece of legislation is a phenomenal start to allowing the federal government

in general to negotiate the prices of drugs for all American citizens.

They have to start with Medicare because it's a program that they control, and hopefully

we're going to see it expand as time goes on, assuming it passes the Senate.

Here's why we could assume that it should at least pass the Senate.

This was something that Donald Trump himself actually campaigned on.

This legislation is an attempt not only to lower prescription drug prices, but to force

his hand and the hands of Republicans in the Senate.

If they do not support this piece of legislation, if it fails, this is a great thing to take

back to their constituents at home and say, "Look what your senator voted against.

Look how your senator voted to not just screw you over, but screw over the federal government.

This is what this particular person stands for."

Now, this is a brilliant move by Democrats, because it is a win-win situation.

If the legislation passes, then senior citizens are going to get cheaper prescription drugs

and the federal government's going to save money.

There's literally no downside to that whatsoever, so you'd have to be some kind of heartless

monster not to support that legislation to begin with, but secondly, if it fails, this

will become a massive campaign issue in 2018 with Democrats able to go back to their constituents,

like I said, and say, "Look what your senator, look what your representative voted against.

They want you to pay higher drug prices."

Again, this legislation is not something that's unheard of.

After all, that's how most other countries have far cheaper prescription drugs.

Their governments negotiate prices with drug companies.

We don't do that here.

Maybe it's because the federal government likes to screwed over.

I don't know.

I can't answer that question for them, but all we know is that Americans pay a higher

price for their prescriptions drugs than any other developed country in the world, and

we finally have some people, Bernie Sanders, Elijah Cummings, Peter Welch, that are out

there trying to put an end to the screwing over of American consumers at the hands of

big pharma.

4 Toughest Cyclists Ever - Duration: 5:57.

- The following cyclists didn't just walk the walk,

they talked the talk, or maybe it's the other way around.

But anyway, these cyclists were tough, make no mistake.

Here's who, and here's why.

(upbeat rock music)

Now we could not include the Cannibal in our list

of toughest cyclists, could we?

Although, undoubtedly Merckx is one of the finest riders

of all time, that doesn't necessarily mean

he's one of the toughest.

But when you factor in 525 career wins,

including five Giros, five Tours, two Vueltas,

and three World road titles,

it may actually suggest otherwise.

Anyway it was the manner of the way he set about winning

that sets him apart.

Hence the nickname, the Cannibal.

Merckx wanted to win every time he got on his bike.

Driven by an insatiable appetite for success.

And he once said, "The day when I start a race without

"intending to win it, I won't be able to look at myself

"in the mirror."

His style was simple, attack.

And generally, when he did, the results

were catastrophic for his rivals.

As well as immense strength, the grocer's son

exemplified a fiery, single minded determination,

which was illustrated at its best in the

1974 Giro d'Italia, where in a one particularly hard stage

he attacked from the gun in atrocious, awful weather

conditions, while still suffering from a bout of pneumonia

to topple one of his fiercest rivals Jose Fuentes.

And that ride laid the foundation for the win in the

overall of the Giro that year, and also it meant that he

went on to win the holy grail of cycling,

the triple, the Giro, the Tour, and the World championships.

(peaceful upbeat techno)

Known as the badger, or (speaks foreign language),

Bernard Hinault was as equally renowned for his

tempestuous nature as his physical prowess on the bike.

During a career that netted him a quite incredible

five Tour de Frances, three Giro d'Italias,

two Vuelta a Espanias, and a World road title.

The Breton was respected and feared by his rivals,

and was a true patron, or boss of the peloton,

imposing discipline and order, and going so far as to often

dictate when riders could and couldn't attack.

He took pleasure in a style of aggressive attacking racing

that often demoralised his rivals, the 1980 edition of

Liege-Bastogne-Liege being a fine example.

In sub-zero snowbound conditions, Hinault attacked with

80 kilometres to go solo, and ended up winning

by a quite astonishing 10 minutes, and that was despite

suffering from frostbite which has permanently

damaged his fingers to this very day.

But the man's character is probably best summed up

by himself with this quote, "As long as I breathe, I attack

"and I race to win, not to please people."

(dramatic orchestral music)

Italian Gino Bartali wasn't just a prodigiously

talented professional cyclist who won the Tour de France

twice and the Giro d'Italia three times, he was also a

noble, tempestuous, kind-hearted man,

who put his own life at risk for others.

During World War II, he transported counterfeit identity

documents secreted in the tubes of his bicycle frame and

handlebars to the Italian Resistance in order to try to save

the lives of Jews who risked being sent to concentration

camps, as well as hiding a Jewish family in his cellar and

leading Jewish refugees across the Swiss Alps.

Following the war, he overcome mental and physical illness

to win his third Giro in 1946, and his second Tour de France

in 1948 cementing his god-like status

amongst the Italian people.

It wasn't until his death in 2000 that

his heroic exploits during the war became known,

leading to many posthumous honours.

Now Batali was a man who essentially transcended

his own sport, and once said to his son this,

"If you're good at a sport, they attach the medals to your

"shirt and then they shine in some museum.

"That which is earned by doing good deeds is attached

"to the soul and shines elsewhere."

(upbeat rock music)

Sean Kelly is one of the true hard men of professional

cycling, a thoroughbred with a single-minded focus

and the ability to suffer far more than most,

and undoubtedly it was his upbringing that contributed

to his hardy attributes.

He quit school at 13 to work on his father's farm in

rural Ireland, then he was a bricklayer before embarking

on an 18-year career as a professional cyclist,

which reaped a quite incredible 193 victories.

Kelly was a rare breed, a rider who could sprint,

climb, and time trial.

But most importantly, he could endure the harshest

of conditions that cycling often imposed on a rider.

In fact he once said of Paris Roubaix, which he won in

1984 and 1986, "A Paris Roubaix without rain

"is not a true Paris Roubaix.

"Throw in a little snow as well, it's not serious."

Whilst leading the 1987 edition of the Vuelta a Espana,

he had to pull out with only four stages to go,

in tears and in agony, succumbing

to a very nasty saddle sore.

But a year later, he returned to the very same race

and won it overall, his only ever Grand Tour victory.

A stark illustration of his determination,

grit, but most of all toughness.

Now we are gonna do another toughest riders video,

but we want to know who you think should be in it.

How to Turn "Friends with Benefits" into a Real Relationship - Dating Advice for Women - Duration: 6:32.

Are you hooking up with someone, but wonder if this could be something more?

So many people are stuck in the "friends with benefits" stage, but want to turn it

into a real relationship. How do we do that though? That's exactly what we will

be discussing in today's video.

Hey everyone, welcome back to TLC Thursday. I am your host and coach for

today. My name is Christal Fuentes, Author of "How

to be H.O.T. - Your Guide to Becoming Happy, Open and Trusting in Your Relationships"

as well as the founder of TheLadiesCoach.com. A site that gives women free

resources that can make their life a little easier. Today we are going to be

talking about how a friends-with-benefits relationship can

turn into the real deal. So many women ask me if it's possible, and what I think. First of all I

think friends-with-benefits usually gets a bad rap. I think the common

misconception is that women are incapable of having sex without emotions

getting in the way. And although that could be true to some extent, that is a

very generalized statement. I think people forget that women are also sexual

creatures, and a lot of women are sexually wired. Meaning more than

anything for these women, sex gets the priority. Who's seen Sex in the City? We

all know and love Samantha right?

"Yes it was. Now if you'll excuse me I have

another tour group coming through my vagina in ten minutes."

Truth is she's not an unrelatable character, in fact lots of women relate

to her sexual drive. Everything about Samantha was the benefits of it all. With

that said, even Samantha turned a friends with benefit relationship into

real love. Now I know this is a fictional character but like I said before, she is

actually very relatable. So for all of my "benefits" babes, I want you to know that

it's definitely possible to turn a sexual relationship into true love, but

there's definitely some things we have to know and that's what we're going to

be chatting about now. Before you turn your booty-call into Prince Charming, you

have to tell the truth about what's real and what's not. If he or she is not on

same page and you know this to be true, then forcing a relationship is not going

to work. A relationship is a choice two people make to be together, not just one.

One way you could put your feelers out there, is to see if your "friend" is

initiating any quality time with you. Especially if you're dating a masculine

man, a man will usually show his interest in someone he's pursuing. But don't be

afraid to do some initiating yourself. It's obvious you both have aligned

sexual interests, but it's important to see if you guys have shared non-sexual

interest. You can do this by inviting your friend to be a part of some of the

things you enjoy doing. If you notice this person is also inviting you to do

the same, then that might be a good sign. Once you start spending more time with

each other outside of the bedroom, the next thing you can do is get to know

each other on a real level. What does this person value in life, and is it congruent

to your values? What matters most to this person and is it something you can

support? Where does this person see themselves and does it conflict with

your own vision? It's important we get more clear about who we are wanting to

jump into a potential relationship with, because the number one thing that kills

relationships most is the illusions we create about our romantic partners. The

stories and false realities we make up in order to persuade ourselves that it's

okay to jump into a relationship that may not

be right for us. So pretty much what I'm saying is tell the truth. Get to know

this person, without getting stuck on the outcome you want. When we get too

attached is when we play ourselves, and that's exactly what we don't. You

want this person to see your most authentic self, so you know they are

falling for the real you and not an illusion. Okay so now you are starting to

spend more I'm outside of the bedroom. You're

participating in each other's interests, and have aligned values and visions. The

next thing I recommend you do is ASK. It doesn't hurt asking this person where

they see this relationship going. In fact it gives you clarity for where you could

be directing your energy. Again, don't get too attached to a specific outcome

because at the end of the day you really want to make sure it's not one-sided, and

both of you are choosing to invest in this together. Even if they don't want

a committed relationship, at least you have gotten clear and aren't prolonging

a one-sided relationship. But since I like ending videos on a high note I will

say some of the most beautiful relationships I know started from a

friends with benefits. Does this help? I want to hear from you.

Top 6 Swim Cap Hacks | Wear Your Swim Cap Like A Pro - Duration: 2:34.

- It might sound obvious but you'll be surprised

at the method some people use to try

and put on a swimming hat.

Now, I've still got childhood memories

of my mother trying to scrape my hair

into a latex hat and it usually ended in tears

and that was until I learned how to do it myself.

(playful music)

If you've bought a brand new swimming cap,

you'll find that it sticks to itself,

your head and your hair.

Now, the best way to avoid this is add

a little talcum powder on the inside and the out.

Give it a rub and then it'll be nice and comfortable

and ready to wear.

It's down to personal preference

but I like to just tie my hair in a bun

at the back of my head

and then I put my hat on from the back to the front.

Now, you can try going from the front to the back

but you're usually left with bits sticking out the bottom.

The race organisers will usually provide hats

that must be worn throughout the race,

so don't go swapping it before your event

as a colour will have been assigned specifically

to your swim wave

and don't panic if your race hat splits or gets a hole

as the organisers will usually have spares.

You'd be surprised that the variation in position

of caps on some swimmers heads.

Now, most hats have a line running down the centre

and the idea is you want that going from the front

to the back of your head,

not across because let's face it,

we don't really want to add any extra drag.

Now, another thing to bear in mind

is making sure your hat's far enough down

over your forehead

because there's nothing worse

than it gradually creeping up

and taking your googles off with it

when it falls off in a race.

When buying a new hat, consider choosing a bright colour

for open-water swimming,

so you can be seen easily if you're training alone

and it's important to be clearly visible

to boats using the same water

and in the worst case scenario

if you do get into trouble, you'll be found more easily.

Now, another little extra tip

if you're heading to your first race

and you want to look

like you know what you're doing,

put your usual hat on first

and your goggles just as you would do normally

and then put the race cap over the top.

This protects your goggles

and stops them getting knocked off by other swimmers

in a mass start.

If you've enjoyed this video,

give it the thumbs up like

a swim wrecky like a pro,

just click at the top

and if you want to watch a video

on how to look after your wetsuit,

just click at the bottom.

How Alien Life Might Evolve in Outer Space: Dinosaurs, Kiwis, New Zealand | Jonathan Losos - Duration: 3:21.

So there's a lot of discussion of what might life look like on other planets, if life has

evolved there.

Will it diversify in a way like the world today?

And there's a lot of speculation about that question.

But we actually don't need to go to other planets to ask that question.

And that's because there are different places on Earth that have had different evolutionary

histories.

And so we can ask on different places in the world, has life evolved in the same way under

similar conditions?

And it turns out that we're very well set for that, because there are isolated islands

that have been their own evolutionary theaters, if you will, that life has evolved very differently

or very independently for a long time.

The best example of that I think is New Zealand.

Now New Zealand broke off from Australia about 80 million years ago.

And this was before most modern mammal groups had really diversified.

And, in fact, today there are no native land mammals on New Zealand.

There are some seals that come ashore on the beach, there are a few species of bats, but

there are no rodents, there are no carnivores, and so on, except the ones that humans have

introduced in the last couple hundred years.

So the question is how did New Zealand evolve in the absence of land mammals?

Well it turns out that birds in particular have taken advantage of that and they've

evolved to do many of the things that mammals do elsewhere in the world.

And there are carnivores and herbivores and all kinds of birds.

Now if we thought that evolution is deterministic then we would expect New Zealand, even though

it's dominated by birds, to have species very similar to those elsewhere in the world.

But that's not at all the case.

The best example is the kiwi.

Now people know the kiwi, it's a bird this big.

It turns out that it has no wings.

It runs around on the ground.

It has an extremely good sense of smell, which is very unusual for birds.

It also has little whiskers, very similar to mammals.

Basically a kiwi does the same thing that a hedgehog or maybe a badger or an armadillo

does.

It goes around rooting through the leaf litter looking for worms and other invertebrates.

Yet it has adapted in a very different way.

And, in fact, the entire cast of characters in New Zealand is very different.

There are carnivorous parrots, there are parrots that are completely flightless and walk around

on the ground looking for seeds.

There was a ten foot tall moa, a land bird that can't fly, that is the dominant herbivore

that looks nothing like a deer or a bison or its ecological equivalence elsewhere.

So New Zealand is an alternative world if you will.

Almost an alternative planet in evolutionary terms.

What has evolved there is completely different from the rest of the world.

And this is true of other places.

Australia in at least some respects is very different.

Madagascar – or go back to the age of the dinosaurs.

Well the dinosaurs came, they went extinct.

If evolution is so deterministic why don't we have t-rex and brontosaurus-type dinosaurs

today?

It's because evolution has gone in a very different direction.

So we don't need to go to other planets to see how deterministic evolution is.

We can just look in different places on Earth and we can see that the outcome often is very

different.

>> STATION THIS IS HOUSTON.

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS EVENT?

>> HOUSTON STATION, WE ARE READY

FOR THE EVENT.

>> STATION THIS IS THE VATICAN.

HOW CAN YOU HEAR ME?

>> VATICAN, THIS IS SPACE

STATION.

WE HEAR YOU LOUD AND CLEAR.

>> VERY GOOD.

THANK YOU.

I NOW HAND OVER TO HOPE FRANCIS.

>> GOOD MORNING, YOU ALL.

>> HELLO, WELCOME TO THE

INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION.

WE ARE THE CREW OF THE 52, 53

SPACE STATION.

>> Translator: HELLO, GOOD

EVENING.

>> I CANNOT HEAR.

[ SPEAKING ITALIAN ]

>> Translator: IT IS A PLEASURE

TO MEET YOU, AND I THANK YOU FOR

ORGANIZING THIS MEETING IN

ADDRESSING THE CREW, I WOULD

LIKE TO BEGIN WITH THE FIRST

QUESTION.

AS YOU ARE CONTEMPLATING THE

[ INAUDIBLE ] OF THE UNIVERSE

THAT MAKES US THINK ABOUT WHERE

WE HAVE COME FROM AND WHERE

WE'RE GOING.

IN LIGHT OF YOUR EXPERIENCES IN

SPACE, WHAT IS YOUR -- WHAT ARE

YOUR THOUGHTS REGARDING THE

SPACE [ INAUDIBLE ] OF THE

UNIVERSE.

>> Translator: HOLY, FATHER THIS

IS A COMPLEX QUESTION.

WE -- I FEEL LIKE [ INAUDIBLE ]

EXPERIMENTS [ INAUDIBLE ]

EQUIPMENT [ INAUDIBLE ] MUCH

MORE INTERNAL QUESTIONS OF WHERE

WE COME FROM, I REMAIN RATHER

PERPLEXED.

IT IS A MOMENT THAT IS A

DELICATE DISCOURSE, BECAUSE I

THINK THAT OUR OBJECTIVE HERE IS

THAT OF KNOWING OUR -- OUR BEING

AND TO FILL OUR KNOWLEDGE TO

UNDERSTAND WHAT IS AROUND US,

BUT ON THE OTHER HAND AN

INTERESTING THING IS THAT THE

MORE WE KNOW, THE MORE WE

REALIZE HOW LITTLE WE KNOW.

I WOULD WISH SO MUCH THAT PEOPLE

LIKE YOURSELF, NOT ONLY

ENGINEERS, AND PHYSICISTS, BUT

PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF, CAN ALSO

[ INAUDIBLE ] THIS CERTAINLY IS

WHAT THE FUTURE WOULD PROVIDE.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU HERE TO

EXPLORE WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE A

HUMAN BEING IN SPACE.

WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE A HUMAN

BEING IN SPACE.

>> Translator: WHAT YOU ARE

SAYING IS TRUE.

IN THIS HALL, FROM WHICH I'M

SPEAKING TO YOU, YOU -- WE HAVE

AS YOU CAN SEE AN ARTISTIC REN A

DECISION OF WHICH IS BASED ON

THE DIVINE COMEDY THAT LOVE

MOVES US TOWARDS THE STARS.

WHAT SENSE DOES THIS STATEMENT

HAVE FOR YOU AS ENGINEERS?

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT

REFERRING TO AS LOVE THE FORCE

THAT MOVES THE UNIVERSE?

>> Translator: HOLY FATHER I

WOULD LIKE MY COLLEAGUE,

ALEXANDER TO SPEAK TO YOU ALSO

IN RUSSIAN.

THANK YOU.

>> Translator: GOOD MORNING,

YOUR HOLINESS.

IT IS A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION,

AND OF COURSE, IT WOULD BE MUCH

MORE IMPORTANT FOR US TO KNOW

WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THIS FOR US

AND FOR EVERYONE, BUT IF YOU ASK

ME, JUST A SIMPLE MAN, I WANT TO

TELL YOU THAT NOW HERE IN MY

FREE TIME, I LISTEN TO AUDIO

BOOKS, AND ONE OF THEM IS CALLED

"THE LITTLE PRINCE," AND THE

BEST EXAMPLE OF WHAT IS LOVE IS

PERHAPS SHOWN IN THIS BOOK,

BECAUSE THERE'S A LITTLE BOY,

AND HE WAS READY TO GIVE UP HIS

LIFE TO RETURN AND TO PROTECT

AND TO CARE AND TO LOVE FOR HIS

ONE AND ONLY FLOWER, THE

CREATURE THAT WAS CLOSEST TO

HIM.

AND THIS IS LOVE IN MY

UNDERSTANDING.

THANK YOU.

>> Translator: HOLY FATHER, I

HOPE THAT WE [ INAUDIBLE ]

RUSSIAN, YOUR ABILITY TO HAVE A

TRANSLATION, WE HAVE TO SORT OF

SUMMARIZE IT RAPIDLY.

>> Translator: TO QUICKLY AND

RAPIDLY SUMMARIZE.

>> Translator: MY COLLEAGUE

ALEXANDER [ INAUDIBLE ] IN

RUSSIAN, WHICH I WILL NOW

TRANSLATE A LITTLE BIT, QUICKLY,

HERE.

HE MAKES REFERENCE TO A BOOK HE

IS READING THESE DAYS

[ INAUDIBLE ] TO REFLECT THE

PRINCIPAL OF [ INAUDIBLE ] HE

REFERS TO THE STORY OF THE BOY

WHO -- WHO WILLINGLY, OR WOULD

WILLINGLY GIVE HIS LIFE TO BE

ABLE TO RETURN SAFE

[ INAUDIBLE ] PLANTS AND ANIMALS

ON EARTH.

AND IN SUBSTANCE THE

LOVE -- LOVE IS THE FORCE WHICH

GIVES HIM THE CAPACITY TO GIVE

YOUR LIFE FOR SOMEONE ELSE.

>> Translator: I LIKE THAT

RESPONSE, AND IT IS TRUE.

WITHOUT LOVE IT IS NOT POSSIBLE

[ INAUDIBLE ] LOVE FOR SOMEONE

ELSE.

THAT IS TRUE.

WE CAN SAY THAT [ INAUDIBLE ]

YOU HAVE UNDERSTOOD AN IMPORTANT

ASPECT [ INAUDIBLE ] POETIC

MANNER EXPLAINS VERY MUCH TO US

THAT YOU, THE RUSSIANS HAVE IN

YOUR BLOOD, IN YOUR HUMANISTIC

QUALITIES AS WELL AS RELIGIOUS.

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL THING, AND I

THANK YOU FOR IT.

>> Translator: ONE THING I'M

CURIOUS ABOUT, YOU SAY THAT ONLY

[ INAUDIBLE ] ARE CURIOUS.

WE MEN ALSO ARE CURIOUS

[ INAUDIBLE ].

WHAT MOTIVATED DO YOU BECOME

ASTRONAUTS?

WHAT IS THE MAIN THING THAT

GIVES YOU JOY IN THE TIME THAT

YOU HAVE IN THE SPACE STATION

[ INAUDIBLE ]?

>> Translator: HOLY FATHER, I

WILL GIVE THE MICROPHONE TO TWO

COLLEAGUES [ INAUDIBLE ] THE

RUSSIAN AND TO RANDY BRESNIK THE

AMERICAN COLLEAGUE.

>> WE ARE REPRESENTING HERE

DIFFERENT COUNTRIES, DIFFERENT

PEOPLE, PEOPLE OF OUR PLANET.

AND EACH OF US HAS ITS OWN

STORY, ITS OWN WAY TO BECOME

ASTRONAUT AND ITS OWN HISTORY.

MY STORY STARTED WITH MY

GRANDFATHER, WHO WAS MAIN CHIEF

ENGINEER IN THE -- PARTICIPATED

IN THE FIRST MAN-BUILT SATELLITE

SPUTNIK, AND FOR ME IT'S GREAT

HONOR TO CONTINUE WHAT HE WAS

DOING TO FULFILL HIS TREATMENTS,

BECAUSE SPACE FLIGHTS IS FUTURE

FOR HUMANITY, AND SPACE FLIGHT

IS ALWAYS FRONTIER FOR NEW

TECHNOLOGIES, NEW SCIENCE, AND

NEW APPROACHES.

>> Translator: [ INAUDIBLE ]

INSPIRATION WAS HIS GRANDFATHER.

HIS GRANDFATHER WAS ONE OF THE

FIRST PIONEERS IN SPACE.

HE WORKED ON THE FIRST SATELLITE

THAT FLEW AROUND THE EARTH.

SO HE WAS INSPIRED BY HIS

GRANDFATHER.

HE WANTED TO FOLLOW HIS EXAMPLE,

BECAUSE [ INAUDIBLE ] AND

BEAUTIFUL, BUT ALSO VERY

IMPORTANT FOR US AS HUMAN

BEINGS.

>> AND YOUR HOLINESS, IN MY

PERSONAL OPINION WHAT GIVES ME

THE GREATEST JOY EVERY DAY IS TO

BE ABLE TO LOOK OUTSIDE AND SEE

GOD'S INSPIRATION MAYBE A LITTLE

BIT FROM HIS PERSPECTIVE.

PEOPLE CANNOT COME UP HERE AND

SEE THE INDESCRIBABLE BEAUTY OF

OUR EARTH AND NOT BE TOUCHED IN

THEIR SOULS.

>> Translator: [ INAUDIBLE ]

AMAZING PERSPECTIVE

[ INAUDIBLE ] A LITTLE BIT EYES

AS GOD WOULD SEE AND TO THE SEE

THE BEAUTY AND THE INCREDIBLE

NATURE OF THIS PLANET.

>> AS WE SEE THE PEACE AND

SERENITY OF OUR PLANET AS IT

GOES AROUND, AND THERE'S NO

BORDERS OR CONFLICT.

IT'S JUST PEACEFUL, AND YOU SEE

THE THINNESS OF THE ATMOSPHERE,

AND IT MAKES YOU REALIZE HOW

FRAGILE OUR EXISTENCE IS.

AND AS WE WORK HERE ON THE SPACE

STATION AND OUR INTERNATIONAL

PARTNERSHIP, WE HOPE THAT

EXAMPLE OF WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE

TOGETHER IS AN EXAMPLE FOR ALL

OF HUMANITY, SO AS WE WORK TO

GET MORE ACCESS TO SPACE AND

MORE PEOPLE CAN SEE THAT

PERSPECTIVE FROM SPACE, THAT

MAYBE HUMANITY'S FUTURE IS A LOT

BETTER THAN THE ONE WE HAVE NOW.

>> Translator: [ NO

TRANSLATION ]

>> Translator: THIS RESPONSE,

WHICH I LIKED SO MUCH, WHICH THE

TWO OF YOU HAVE SAID

[ INAUDIBLE ] TO EXPLAIN THIS.

YOU WENT TO YOUR GRANDFATHER,

AND YOU COME FROM AMERICA, HAVE

SUCCEEDED IN UNDERSTANDING

[ INAUDIBLE ] IS TOO FRAGILE.

IT IS A MOMENT THAT PASSES.

SIX KILOMETERS PER SECOND, IT'S

A VERY FRAGILE THING, VERY FINE

AND THIN ATMOSPHERE, THAT IS SO

CAPABLE OF -- OF DESTROYING

ITSELF, OF DOING [ INAUDIBLE ]

THINGS, AND YOU WENT UP AND YOU

SAW WITH THE EYES OF GOD, YOUR

GRANDFATHER AND GOD, OUR

[ INAUDIBLE ] AND OUR HOPE AND

OUR STRENGTH.

WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET OUR

ROOTS.

IT DOES ME GOOD TO HEAR THIS,

AND THANK YOU.

THANK YOU.

>> Translator: THE VATICAN,

SPACE STATION, ARE YOU THERE?

FROM THE VATICAN TO THE

INTERNATIONAL SPACE CENTER -- OR

SPACE STATION.

ARE YOU THERE?

>> THIS IS THE SPACE STATION.

HOW CAN YOU HEAR ME.

>> NOW WE CAN HEAR YOU, JULES WE

THOUGHT WE LOST YOU FOR A WHILE.

>> OKAY.

>> PLEASURE IN SPACE CAN BRING

TO OUR VIEW, SOME OF THE THINGS

WE TAKE FOR GRANTED ON EARTH.

WE WANT TO ASK YOU IN

PARTICULAR, THAT REALLY

[ INAUDIBLE ] SPACE STATION HAS

[ INAUDIBLE ] AND YOU CAN TELL

US SOMETHING THAT HAS STRUCK

YOU,ESS SPECIALLY BECAUSE YOU

FOUND CONFIRMATION THERE AS WELL

IN SUCH A DIFFERENT CONTEXT.

>> Translator: THANK YOU, HOLY

FATHER FOR THIS QUESTION.

I WOULD LIKE MY AMERICAN

COLLEAGUE MARK VANDE HEI TO

SPEAK.

>> HOLY FATHER WHAT SURPRISED ME

IS HOW APPROACHING SOMETHING

FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE CAN

MAKE SOMETHING THAT IS VERY

FAMILIAR SEEM UNRECOGNIZABLE.

SOMETIMES WHEN I'M WORKING ON

SOMETHING VERY CLOSE TO ME, I'LL

GET FOCUSED ON THAT, AND NOT

REALIZE THAT I HAVE ROTATED IT

AROUND, THEN WHEN I GO TO

ANOTHER MODULE, WHEN I APPROACH

IT FROM A DIFFERENT SIDE THAT I

DIDN'T EXPECT, THAT

PLACE -- IT'S KIND OF UNSETTLING

AT FIRST WHEN I'M TRYING TO

UNDERSTAND WHERE I AM.

[ TRANSLATING ]

>> SO THAT'S BEEN VERY

INTERESTING.

WHAT HAS BEEN SURPRISING TO ME

THAT HASN'T CHANGED IS THAT IN

THIS ENVIRONMENT WHERE WE HAVE

TO -- WE DON'T REALLY NEED THE

CONCEPT OF UP AND DOWN, TO GET

MY BEARINGS, I STILL HAVE TO

DECIDE WHICH DIRECTION TO

PERCEIVE AS UP IN ORDER TO BE

ABLE TO MAKE SENSE OF THINGS.

[ TRANSLATING ]

>> Translator: SAYING THAT IS

[ INAUDIBLE ] ABSOLUTELY HUMAN

[ INAUDIBLE ] THE CAPACITY TO

DECIDE TO MAKE DECISIONS, IT

SEEMS TO ME AN INTERESTING

RESPONSE, BECAUSE IT GOES BACK

TO HUMAN ROOTS, AND NOW IF YOU

WOULD HAVE THE COURTESY TO

LISTEN TO ANOTHER QUESTION.

OUR SOCIETY IS VERY

INDIVIDUALISTIC, BUT INSTEAD

WHAT IS ESSENTIAL TO LIFE IS

COLLABORATION.

I THINK TO ALL OF THE WORK THAT

LIES BEHIND AN ENTERPRISE LIKE

YOURS, COULD YOU GIVE ME SOME

EXAMPLES -- SIGNIFICANT EXAMPLES

OF COLLABORATION IN YOUR

ENVIRONMENT, IN THE SPACE

CENTER -- SPACE STATION?

>> Translator: HOLY FATHER, IT'S

A AN EXCELLENT QUESTION, I

BELIEVE IN RESPONSE TO MY

AMERICAN COLLEAGUE, TO HIS

PUERTO RICAN DESCENT.

>> Translator: HOLY FATHER IT'S

A GREAT HONOR TO SPEAK TO YOU.

>> THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE

STATION IS A GREAT EXAMPLE OF

INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION, AS

YOU CAN SEE FROM THE CREW

MEMBERS THAT WE HAVE UP HERE

FROM VARIOUS COUNTRIES, AND THE

WORK THAT WE DO EVERY DAY

TALKING TO THE DIFFERENT CONTROL

CENTERS AROUND THE WORLD.

WE HAVE UNITED STATES.

WE HAVE CANADA, JAPAN, RUSSIA,

AND THE NINE COUNTRIES FROM

EUROPE.

SO WHAT I FIND VERY INTERESTING

IS THE INDIVIDUALS THAT MAKE UP

THIS COLLABORATION.

IT IS OUR DIVERSITY THAT MAKES

US STRONGER, AND I THINK WE NEED

TO EMBRACE WHO WE ARE AS

INDIVIDUALS, AND RESPECT THOSE

AROUND US, AND BY WORKING

TOGETHER, WE CAN DO THINGS MUCH

GREATER THAN WE CAN DO AS

INDIVIDUALS.

[ TRANSLATING ]

>> Translator: YOU ARE A LITTLE

GLASS PALACE, AND THE TOTALITY

IS GREATER THAN THE SUM OF THE

PARTS, AND THIS IS THE EXAMPLE

THAT YOU GAVE US.

THANK YOU SO MUCH, MY DEAR

FRIENDS.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY, DEAR

BROTHERS, BECAUSE I FEEL YOU

[ INAUDIBLE ] OF ALL OF THE

HUMAN FAMILY, AND THIS GREAT

PROJECT OF RESEARCH THAT IS THE

SPACE STATION, I THANK YOU FROM

MY HEART FOR THIS COLLOQUY, THIS

CONVERSATION WHICH HAS GREATLY

ENRICHED ME.

GENTLEMEN, MAY THE LORD BLESS

YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES.

I ASSURE YOU WILL PRAY FOR YOU,

AND I HOPE YOU WILL PRAY FOR ME.

THANK YOU.

>> Translator: FATHER IN THE

NAME OF ALL OF US, I WOULD LIKE

TO THANK YOU FOR [ INAUDIBLE ]

FROM THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE

STATION IS THE PLACE IN WHICH WE

CONDUCT SO MUCH RESEARCH, WHERE

WE GO TO SEARCH FOR THE THINGS

THAT -- ON A DAILY BASIS

ARE -- I THANK YOU FOR HAVING

BROUGHT US TO A HIGHER LEVEL,

AND TO HAVE PULLED US OUT OF

THIS DAILY MECHANIC ENVIRONMENT

AND MAKE US REFLECT ON THINGS

THAT ARE GREATER THAN WE ARE.

THANK YOU, AGAIN.

Exploring the Deep Sea for Ship Wrecks and Plane Crashes - Duration: 2:32.

(dramatic music)

- Searching for a ship or airplane in the ocean

is technically more challenging than going into space.

You're essentially dealing with one atmosphere of pressure.

When we go to 6,000 meters, we're dealing with pressures

that would crush you.

I'm Steve Saint Amour, the co-founder of Eclipse Group

and a subsea explorer.

We specialize in ultra deep water search and recovery.

When we go out on an operation, we find crashed ships

or airplanes in the ocean.

Then upon finding them, we recover the object.

Over the course of my 32 year career,

I participated in 100 plus high profile

search and recovery operations, like Air France 447

and a number of military aircraft.

The reason these investigations occur is

to prevent the future loss of life.

Hello Horizon, Steve Saint Amour speaking.

The first step is receiving the phone call.

When we get the call, we go out with the ship,

we deploy the side scan sonar to search the area

where we think the object is.

Upon finding it, we would deploy the remote operated vehicle

which would go down and recover the object,

and all the information that's collected by the vehicle

you're getting the results of that information in real-time.

And after everything that we have to go through

to assemble the equipment, go out, perform a search,

when it finally breaks the surface of the water,

it's a phenomenal feeling.

It's even better when we get it up to the deck of the ship.

The proof is there that you've done your job right.

As a kid, you want to make a difference.

You want to find and, you know, discover new things

and tell people about them,

and that really was, you know, the driving force.

I dreamt of spending the rest of my life

exploring the oceans.

Now I'm living my dream and every day is

a unique challenge and an adventure.
