How to Get Your Airbnb Listing Reviewed by Richard!! - Duration: 4:47.

YouTube friends and Team Short Term Rental Secrets how are you it's Richard

a few months ago when we were thinking about ways to increase the value that we

add to our audience and also increase the number of videos that we provide at

the same time as I went on my epic 55 day journey we thought about content

that was sustainable and repeatable and added the most value one of the things

that we tested was this Airbnb review listing where we asked viewers like

yourself if you wanted your listing review to go ahead and give us your link

turns out that was wildly popular we had tons of interest and it's been really

encouraging and that the people who have their listing reviewed are like

benefiting their reviews or increasing their conversions are increasing they're

putting more money in their pocket as one might expect what I didn't expect to

be so popular was the people that are watching these even though it's not

their listing they're incorporating the same sort of thoughts or methodology and

their own listing and making minor tweaks and they're also benefitting

tremendously so it's been a wildly popular segment and I'm committed to

continuing doing it so the first problem we have is that we have hundreds of

people who've submitted their listing for reviews and that's great however

we're committed to doing this one time per week we don't want to turn the

entire channel into nothing but listing reviews we think there's a ton of value

but we don't want to take years to cycle through our current queue the second

problem we have is of those hundreds of people we don't know who's serious and

who's going to actually take action and listen to the advice and like be

proactive and make changes and monetize it first is who's just like simply

putting their listing in and figuring like heck why not

so the third problem is this is by far without question the longest piece of

content that we produce on this channel the average finished video is about 20

minutes so you can imagine that the you know raw footage is maybe twice as long

as that we're not only filming me we're also filming the screen and then Charles

has to edit between the two and flip back and forth and so it takes a ton of

my time it takes a ton of Charles's time to edit everything and then of course a

you know uploading a 20 minute video takes longer than a 3 or 4 minute video

so here's what we've come up with we think this is a great solution we've

created a landing page the link will be below if you're really serious and you

want to take action you want your listing reviewed we're gonna allow you

to jump to the front of the line go ahead and fill it out give us your

listing and we'll go ahead and review it we're only going to take 10 people right

now because that's the amount of time that both Charles and I can dedicate to

this and what we're going to do is we're going to send you to your private review

in advance of the release on the YouTube channel that

ishes two things you get to make the changes like immediately instead of

waiting you know two three six months for it to be released on the YouTube

channel and to the YouTube audience continues to get all the other content

on our channel without being inundated with the constant reviews now we only

have capacity to do ten of these right now so that's what we're gonna take and

if you don't make the first ten don't worry about it go ahead put your name on

the waiting list and we'll get there we're gonna open and close and cycle and

periodically update it we'll see what ten looks like if that's the right

number we'll stick to it if we have more capacity will increase it but the main

thing is we want to make sure that we serve the people that want to make

changes immediately fastest we want to give them a way to get to the front of

the queue and we also want to make sure that the entire channel grows and

everyone benefits and it's not just like a service that we only review listings

so here a couple thoughts one because these are the longest videos - for us to

produce and create and so on and because we have such a long line we want really

want to work with the people that want it most and we want to give you an

opportunity to cut the line so we're gonna introduce a $49 price point we're

going to take ten people right now that's all that you know I can commit to

it's going to be my face and my voice and everything that you've seen on the

channel before that you've requested we're not outsourcing this there's no

shortcuts that's exactly what it is that you've seen but instead of waiting like

two years to get to your listing we're giving ten people right now the

opportunity to cut to the front of the line and then others on a wait list so I

hope you find this a cool way to support us we're asked all the time like what

can we do and so on and so forth and we want to continue to commit to giving you

content we think this is really useful and actionable and so the people that

are gonna benefit the most hopefully you're willing to pay for it and offset

some of our costs remember there's only ten spots that are gonna open and close

and then after that we have a wait list so even if you don't get there first so

you didn't get to this video quickly in time go ahead and put your name on the

Having Ideas But No Motivation · Inktober Day #4 - Duration: 4:30.

Alright you lot, we made it to day four of inktober!

Today's lovely old house is haunted by a group of unruly vandals who've trashed it

inside and out.

I enjoyed this one, though it didn't come without any issues, you'll see at one point

I attempt to use gold ink and fail miserably, but I'm happy with how it looks without.

This was also one of THREE, yes three, inktober videos that I filmed today.

I thought it time to get ahead of myself a little bit, prepare myself for the weekend

where I might not be able to draw- or more of an issue, film- around other commitments.

Anyway, I'm letting you know that the next two videos are pre-recorded, just to kind

of break the illusion that everyone out there taking part this month is managing to do it

day in, day out without compromise.

Like we talked about in yesterdays video, it's okay to bend the rules to a point where

you still feel you're achieving your greater goal.

My goal is to be consistent and driven enough to fill this sketchbook and put out a video

every day.

That in itself will be an achievement for me.

And figuring out how to work that kind of goal around my real life is so far becoming

a really useful experience.

Anyway, I'll still be editing each video the day I put it out so if you still have

a question, feel free to leave it below and I might answer it in tomorrow's video.

Today's question was a popular one in the comment section of the first video.

It's from Elena and she wants some advice for dealing with having ideas but not the

motivation to follow them through.

Or having ideas but not the skill to put them down onto paper.

There was a similar question from Ronnie who deals with the familiar feeling of being unsatisfied

with a piece of work, which leads to a complete lack of motivation to create again.

I think it all ties in together really.

I had this feeling today when I was about to start drawing.

I've known since last night, and had a vivid image in my head of what I wanted to draw.

But I spent half my morning procrastinating, it even got to a point where I was aimlessly

wandering around the house, looking out the window to see if the postman was coming.

At one point I was lying in bed staring at the ceiling with my inktober sketchbook in

my hand.

A lot of the time, what stops us from taking that step from idea to execution is a kind

of fear.

Fear of getting it wrong, and fittingly, fear of not having the skills to do it properly.

For me, a great way to get past that is to do a fake 'test run' of the drawing in

mind.

Fake because I'll call it a test run in my head, but put as much effort in as I would

for the real thing.

Even though the ultimate goal is for that drawing to be THE drawing, when you approach

it as a kind of practice or first round, it takes the pressure off it having to come out

just right, because you're just using this as a way to figure out what you're doing,

get to know your tools, get to know what areas you might need to improve on.

And that's essentially how you get better at art anyway.

Every piece you create has it's own little lesson to learn and take into the next.

So for you Ronnie, rather than be discouraged by what you see as shortcomings in your work,

try to take more of an objective look at it.

Pin-point the parts that you don't like and almost get excited to learn more about

that thing, so you'll be able to use it in all your artwork into the future.

You're mistakes are just potential to grow and learn and take your work to the next level.

Sometimes I genuinely do get excited when I realise I need to spend more time on a certain

aspect of my art, I can kind of imagine how much better it'll be when I just master

that one thing.

I'm waffling a bit today, but the point I'm trying to make is, if you've got the

ideas but not the motivation, try to get that idea down on paper even if it's not the

finished piece.

Get it down in some form and work from there.

And if it doesn't turn out how you want it to, instead of shrinking away, telling

yourself I told you so and convincing yourself not to try again, be objective, be methodical,

zone in on the mistakes and look ahead to learning more and creating art closer to what

you had in mind.

for medically-necessary generators under FEMA's Individuals and Households Program.

After a disaster, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

offers financial assistance to survivors

with certain disaster-caused miscellaneous expenses under Other Needs Assistance (ONA).

Assistance for these items is limited to the amount established for the item

by your State, Territory, or Tribal Government.

If you owned a generator before the disaster and it was damaged by the disaster,

FEMA will consider the generator under Personal Property Assistance.

If you purchased or rented a generator to power medically-necessary equipment,

including a medically-required refrigerator, FEMA may be able to reimburse you

for the purchase or rental of the generator.

The generator must have been purchased or rented

between the day the Governor declared a State of Emergency

and the date the disaster ended, or the date power is restored,

whichever comes first.

You must provide an itemized receipt or equipment rental agreement.

The cost of the generator must not be covered by insurance or any other source.

The generator must be purchased or rented to power a medically-required piece of equipment.

The generator must have been purchased or rented due to a disruption

in electrical utility service as a result of the disaster.

You must submit a statement from a medical provider indicating the equipment is medically necessary.

The reimbursement amount for generators is limited to the prevailing retail

or rental rate for a 5.5 kw-sized generator, as identified by FEMA.

For generator rental, you may only be reimbursed for the period until power is restored to your home.

so I decided to buy it and try it and the instructions are on the back

so I'm going to try this on camera and see

if this really works

I don't really have blackheads that much but let's see if this thing can surprise me

if you have medical or dental insurance, so FEMA can determine which of your medical or dental expenses

are not covered by your insurance.

If you do not have medical or dental insurance,

you must submit a signed Medical or Dental Statement of Insurance,

which will be provided to you in a Request for Information letter.

FEMA sends this letter to you automatically

if you indicate when you register with FEMA that you have medical or dental losses.

The letter will also explain what documentation you need to send to FEMA

for medical or dental assistance.

If you did not receive the letter and you have disaster-caused medical or dental expenses,

you can get this letter sent to you by calling the FEMA Helpline

or going to a Disaster Recovery Center

and letting them know you have medical or dental expenses as a result of the disaster.

After a disaster, we know one of the first things you want to do is to go home

and make sure everything is okay.

Here are some tips to help you prepare and stay safe.

Wait until local officials tell you it is safe to return home.

Before hitting the road, let your family and friends know you are planning to return home.

Call or text someone when you are leaving and when you arrive.

Text can work when calls do not.

Leave with a full gas tank and consider downloading an app to your smartphone or tablet

to check for fuel outages along the home.

There may be gas stations that have lost power or may not have fuel available.

Before you leave, know which gas stations are open and have fuel.

Pack your car with supplies like water and non-perishable food,

because heavy traffic may increase your travel time.

Make sure you continue to charge your cell phone, tablet, or laptop and have backup batteries

in case your house still does not have power.

It may take a few days, weeks or months for the power to come back on in your neighborhood.

Your neighborhood may have been seriously affected by the disaster,

so please be prepared to return to a possibly damaged home.

There may be major disruptions to your daily life due to the disaster.

Roads you normally take may be blocked with debris.

Your kids' school may be closed because the building is damaged or has no power.

Your local grocery store may not have power or enough food after the disaster.

It may take a long time before your daily activities start to feel normal again.

Remember that going home before local officials have been able to clear storm debris is dangerous.

There are many wonderful ways to show your support and generosity.

Cash donations are the best way people share their support,

and this is the most common way to contribute to the disaster relief process.

Organizations that help during a disaster know what

and how much is needed to be able to support survivors as they begin to recover.

They often buy supplies from local businesses to help support the local economy.

When you make a cash donation, make sure that you are donating

to a recognized and trusted organization.

If you prefer to donate supplies instead of making a cash donation,

it is important to confirm with the organization what supplies are actually needed

as critical needs change every day.

They will tell you how to pack and label your donations,

confirm where you can drop off your donations,

and then arrange transportation for your donations to where they are most needed.

Please check with the organization you plan to donate to before starting to collect,

because donating things that survivors do not need takes away

valuable volunteer labor, transportation, and warehouse space.

It is also important that you do not travel to the disaster areas to help deliver supplies,

as this could also interfere with the organization's mission of supporting survivors.

site so this image just confirmed that this place will actually be in the movie

and it could actually be where the final battle happens and it could actually be

superheroes have to nuke it with Steph with Steppenwolf and his army parademons

dark opening scene that will be set hundreds if not thousands for the Wonder

Why This '90s Star Got Dropped By Hollywood - Duration: 5:14.

In the early 2000s, Rachael Leigh Cook seemed poised to hit the big time.

She starred in The Baby-Sitters Club, appeared as young Jackie O in The House of Yes, and

became a household name in the cute teen comedy She's All That.

It should have been smooth sailing to stardom from there, but instead of taking her rightful

place on the A-list, Cook just kind of disappeared.

Why did she drop off the radar?

Looking back at her career, it all starts to make sense.

Still trapped in the '90s

Starring as the geek to chic girl in She's All That was both a blessing and a curse.

The movie earned her '90s "it girl" status, but she could never really break free of that

status.

Nearly 20 years after She's All That, it's still arguably her most recognizable role.

Perhaps the reason she's still so associated with that role is that she doesn't appear

to have aged much since the movie's release.

That might be good for reprising her old "this is your brain on drugs" commercial, but it

could also be holding her back from securing more serious roles nowadays.

"Like, I'm trying.

I'm trying my best over here."

Genre jump

A lot of rom-com starlets return to the genre once or twice before attempting to hop into

more serious film fare.

"I'm done!

I don't deserve this.

I really do not deserve this."

But Rachel Leigh Cook eschewed the genre entirely and opted to make a home on the indie scene

right away after She's All That.

The starlet has since admitted that part of the decision to diss her star-making scene

was naivete and an attempt to emulate the career choices of her House of Yes co-star

Parker Posey.

She told SheKnows, "I quickly identified her as the coolest person I had ever born witness

to.

And what she mostly did was edgy, smaller films.

As soon as I had options in my career, I almost immediately swung my career in that direction."

However, Cook never managed to nail the kind of gritty roles that would have established

her as a serious presence in Hollywood.

In 2004, after making a handful of low-budget indies and formulaic thrillers that never

found an audience, she pivoted to take on a darker, different kind of role as a schizophrenic

pop star in the film Stateside.

It could have been an attention-getting move that proved her range as an actress, but unfortunately

Cook's performance was off-key and couldn't transcend the film's poorly-written script

or slightly ludicrous premise.

Bummer.

Box office bombs

Nothing saps a promising star's momentum like a terrible movie, and Cook had a spate of

them.

Although she stayed busy after She's All That, appearing in a total of nine projects over

the next two years, virtually none of them performed as hoped.

Get Carter, a promising ensemble drama, made only $19 million against a $63 million budget;

and Josie and the Pussycats couldn't even earn back its modest budget of $22 million

and was viciously panned by critics.

And the corporate techno-thriller Antitrust didn't just put a big dent in Cook's Hollywood

cachet — it seems to have cursed the careers of basically everyone in it, including Ryan

Phillippe and Claire Forlani.

Without the ability to draw crowds at the box office, Cook's clout in Hollywood began

to fade.

Primetime bust

Like many actors who couldn't quite find their footing in feature films, Cook's next big

move in 2012 was to reinvent herself on prime time TV by taking on the role of an FBI agent

in TNT's quirky crime drama Perception.

It was a smart choice for Cook and a great chance to get back on Hollywood's radar in

a new way.

"I'm small, I come from indie dramas and romantic comedy.

I just never really thought I could get a sort of hard-hitting role like that…"

Unfortunately, the series didn't score the kind of ratings it needed and was cancelled

after three seasons.

Mom first

Cook gave birth to two children in 2013 and 2015, and all signs point to her making motherhood

a first priority.

The actress relocated with her family to Atlanta while her husband Daniel Gillies was busy

shooting his vampire drama The Originals.

Although Atlanta is certainly a hotspot for certain Hollywood projects, it's still not

very close to Tinseltown where all the auditioning magic tends to take place.

She also told SheKnows that she tends to think twice about whether a gig will be worth it,

in light of her new childcare needs and locale, saying, "I know the hardest part is the sheer

number of people I have to inconvenience when I want to go to work.

Logistically it's just plain complicated .. Also, deciding if a project makes sense not only

as a career, but financial sense, now plays a role.

A lot of the fun, smaller movies will cost us money to do by the time we pay for additional

care."

Not too late

In 2016, Cook did make an unusual pivot by agreeing to star in two separate projects

produced by The Hallmark Channel.

While feel-good TV movies have a bad rap as the place where Hollywood careers go to die,

for Cook, it sounds like making a couple of less-serious films could be a first step toward

rediscovering what kind of actress she really wants to be.

In a 2016 interview, she admitted, "My desire to be cool is constantly pitted against my

actual taste.

I tend toward the sunnier side although I desperately want to do no budget edgy things."

In other words, if Cook stops trying to make herself fit the mold of an edgy indie actress

and just starts making the kind of movies she likes, there should be no shortage of

roles for her.

Add to the fact that Hollywood is all about nostalgia projects these days, she's perfectly

poised for a comeback in She's STILL All That.
