How to make an amazing DIY cat and dog house with plans tutorial - ep01 - Roland Master Maker - Duration: 24:16.In this episode we'll be creating the most amazing cat's and dog's house using inexpensive
materials and making them luxurious using Roland printers
Hi Folks, I'm Custom Cez and I welcome you to my new series "Roland Master Maker"
We will documents a number of DIY projects hoping to be a good source of inspiration
for your own activities
During the process I will show you to some of Roland's fantastic machines
Being this episode one I've decided to start with a BANG!
By the end of this video you'll have witnessed the creation of the most amazing cat and dog
house you have ever seen
I'm going to use some inexpensive material, OSB wood boards 18 millimeters thick
Although it looks cheap we'll make it look like a million bucks using Roland technology
But let's go one step at the time
Like with every other project we start with a pile of tools, building materials and lots
of hope for everything to work out just fine
In order to start we need some blue prints, if you'd like the dog house plans are available
for download at this episode's web page along with the arduino code and all the graphics
we'll be using for this project
Follow the link to our facebook page in the description to find them.
Before cutting we need to draw the part according to the dog house designs and you know what
they say: measure twice and cut once… so, I start measuring
There's no need for special tools, even by myself, with the help of a few clamps and
a wooden strip, I can draw some pretty accurate large designs
Now I need to draw a big arch, too large for my school size compass
But I have a trick
I need a rigid strip, like an old saw blade, I've drilled two holes on it, and the distance
between them is equal to the value of the radius of the arch
Now I can use one hole as a pivot on a small nail and the other hole will guide the pencil
Quick and easy
I have another simple technique that might come in handy to make straight cuts without
expensive tools
all You'll need a basic rotary saw, I start by measuring the distance between the blade
and the base edge
In my case 28 millimeters
Then I transfer the offset onto the piece I need to cut
Now by aligning a wooden strip to the offset line using some clamps, I can use it and a
guide for the saw
You do need to be careful to the side of the cut because in outside cuts you need to account
for the thickness of the blade
For curved cuts you'll need a jigsaw, just like for the top of the entrance way
But be careful cause one wrong move and you need to start over
The front of our amazing dog house is ready to go
When I finish a piece of any project I like to put a big x on the blue print, it gives
me a sense of accomplishment
To keep the waste to an absolute minimum the door hole is reused to make one of the two
pieces of sloping roofs
Waste not want not.
So, until now I've shown you the homemade way of doing very straight cuts, but if you,
like me, are so lucky to have a friend that can lend you one of these professional rotary
saws, then you really are in business.
This tool has a precise adjustment for diagonal cutting, a very clean cutting blade and its
own track so that aligning the blade to the cutline it's a breeze
These features make the job fast and accurate
The rest of the job was very easy with the new toy so now I can move on to preparing
the wooden studs I'll need to make the dog and cat house infrastructure
You might wonder why I need an infrastructure when I'm already using half inch thick board.
This is another of my money saving tips
Using metal corner pieces can be expensive and I definitely don't want to risk splitting
a board by running screws through it longitudinally
Using the studs, with a buying price of about 5 bucks for 4 meters, pretty much the cost
of one or two corner pieces, we can ensure a robust and safe connection between the boards
The two pointy studs that will support the roof of our amazing dog house are the last
two pieces that we need to cut according to the design
I should now have all the studs and all the boards to start assembly
The plans are full of checkmarks and the trash bin is so full of crap that is overflowing
onto the floor
Good!
It's a sign of accomplishment.
Lots of scrap...
Lots of accomplishment.
Let's keep it up.
I like to predrill the screw holes so not to stress the wood and even with the extra
step the structure is ready in a few minutes
Using the boards as place holders I find and mark the exact spots were the structure needs
to be placed.
As I've mentioned before I like to predrill all the holes because there is nothing worse
than splitting a piece right when you are placing the last screw...
Because you know that that's exactly when it is going to happen right?
Right!
Before assembling the walls I want to install the cat steps, it's much easier to do it now
that later.
Consulting the diy dog house plans available for download following the link in the description,
I find the position ofthe first step and prepare the 4 screws that will hold it in
place
As you can see this process is much easier with the wall placed horizontally… and the
steps are quickly ready to go.
Now the side wall can be installed onto the structure
And with the first screw the Roland Amazing Pet House assembly process has officially
begun
You'll notice that the screws positions have been marked with a pencil line
There are two reasons for that.
First of all having all the screws nicely aligned is pleasing to the eye, secondly this
way we know that is the right position for every screw to bite onto the structural studs
Once all the walls are up it's time to tackle the inside pocket that will hide the sensor
and arduino controlled pump that will feed the automatic water dispenser
Every time a pet comes close the water fountain will turn on
If you have a dog, and you might if you are watching this, you know that they love running
water
Our Roland amazing pep house offers a fully automated solution for that
Now that the facade is up we can begin to see the final shape.
Keeping up with the dog house plans, the right side is where I designed the raised area for
the water bowl and the reservoir that will be feeding the fountain
With a couple of measures and the help of a compass and a jig saw, the stainless bowl
finds its final placement
Any decent house must have a roof and an amazing one has to have a special one
After placing the flat board that will constitute the floor of the cat house, I proceed with
the installation of a charming sloped roof
It's supported by the two pointy studs we saw before and it has the secondary function
of providing a hiding spot for a kitty or two
But you ain't seen nothing yet, the real cat house I'm gonna build right now
I start by finding the side walls locations…
then I drill the screw holes…
and finally I screw in the cad house walls
Now I can place the roof by reading the measurements on the blue prints
Now it is time to build the scratch post
We all know how much better they are that our couches for our lovely little friend's nails
The core is made by a pvc pipe cut to measure
As a coupling I figured that a wood disk would offer a good surface for a snug fit with some
glue
On top of the pipe I've designed a nice platform for the cat to rest on, they like
to sit high up at an advantage point so that they can keep an eye on what is happening
around them
The same was done with the secondary scratch post on top of the cat house
We can finally see the actual shape of the Roland Amazing Pet House
On the left side you can see the cat wheel that we'll build in the next episode, but
for now, let's concentrate on the main residence
To recap I manage to build the dog house out of four cheap OSB boards
In Italy you can buy a 2 and a half by 1 and a quarter meters, 18 millimeters thick board
of this stuff for about 18 Euros
So now that we have built the pet house it is time to make it truly a mazing using what
Roland has to offer going from this…
to this!
Let's go.
We are here at the Roland DG mid Europe Laboratories
and this place is filled with amazing stuff
For this project though they are letting us use the UV printer
This printer can print onto a surface up to 1.6 by 1.5 meters and the bridge can be raised
as you can see up to 20 cm
We'll use this printer to print onto our economic OSB wood material which is very cheap, and
in the end it will look beautiful, texturized, you can even print with a thickness on it
and you'll see by the end of the episode this is going to be fantastic
The printing process is very simple
All we have to do is place the panel on the machine's flat bed
In this case is wood but it could be fabric, leather, ceramic, cement, plastic, metal or
even glass
Then we need to load the graphics file
Before coming here to Roland I prepared all the designs I want printed onto the boards.
Drawing vectors is the way to go because you can scale as much as you want without losing
quality
Once the graphics are ready the printer positions the head over the panel to start a calibration
process before beginning printing
The ink is transferred onto the surface with fantastic resolution and UV lamp dries it
instantaneously
With a bunch of consecutive passages it could even build up a thickness made out of many
layers resulting in a base relief
This is great for tactile applications like simulating wood grains
Here we have one of the two cat house walls, a relatively small piece
Now let's get to the bigger stuff starting with the front of our dog house.
This is Giuseppe Ponzanetti, we call him Peppe
He is the ultimate Roland machines guru and he helped me get stuff done the entire day
He starts by making sure that the board is aligned with the reference grid we printed
on the actual printer bed
Then… the printing shell begin
Depending on the project, density of the surface and the desired resolution, Peppe can adjust
many printing properties, like for example the speed or, for base relief prints, the
number of layers
In no time at all here is the final product
It's almost impossible to think that in just a few minutes this cheap board could
go though such a radical transformation
Now that I've got into the swing of things let's get the other boards done, but before
anything else
I've got to properly customize this Roland printer!
One by one all the parts of the amazing pet house are turned into pieces of art
When needed we did some tweaking right on the spot
The Roland Team gave me their best asset: their know how!
No wonder they call it the "Dream Team"
Just to give you an idea of the execution time, the larger panels took about 10 minutes
each to get printed
And while we wait for them to be done, Lilla, Designer extraordinaire, and I worked on a
draft of the series logo on a Wacom board
After a wonderful day spent with the Roland Dream Team all my parts are ready and and
it's time for me to get back to my shop to put everything back together. Let's go!
Since all measures have been already taken and the screw holes have already been done,
putting back the Roland now truly amazing pet house is quite easy
In just about half hour all walls are back up and the house's facade had a set of hinges
to simplify cleaning operations and to grant access to the automated water dispenser
All the surfaces for the cat house need to be carpeted, simple but laborious process
I'm sure that pro carpet people will be able to suggest the best way of doing it,
I did my best and this is what I did
Using some fairly inexpensive felt carpet, 5 Euros per square meter, I covered all surfaces
using mainly glue and staples
Just make sure not to staple where the cats will do their nails
I did the same for the scratching poles, to favor the adhesion of the glue on the PVC
plastic I first sent it with a coarse abrasive sponge
After cutting the carpet to size I liberally apply glue on both surfaces and roll them
up together
To keep some pressure on it while drying, especially on the joint, I use some zip ties
and a board
The roof of the cat house proves to be a bit harder than expected because I want the carpet
to cover up all construction screws
After a bit of head scratching the cat climber come out pretty good
The carpeting goes on the steps and the roof as well and by now I got everything I need
to complete the assembly process
The steps are the first to get on their final position
then the cat house
the flat roof…
and lastly the sloped roof
To make the Roland Amazing Pet House truly a-ma-zing I want to install the automated,
ultrasonic sensor operated, water fountain
To make this happen I've chosen some main components:
An arduino nano microcontroller, an ultrasonic sensor, a relay and an electric pump
Have I mentioned that the Arduino family of microprocessors is an Italian made project?
Just a bit of patriotic pride here…
Anyway, by following the link in the description to our facebook page you'll be able to download
not only the doghouse plans but also the circuit specs and the arduino code to make it run
Just remember to live a like
Let's do one thing at a time, first I need to put together the piping that will allow
the water to circulate
Believe me, it's easy
For starters the dog bowl need to be drilled in order to insert one of this garden irrigation fittings
It's made out of plastic and it features nicely rounded corners to make sure the dog
doesn't cut his tong while drinking
To make everything watertight I use silicon on both sides
A 3 liters tank will be the reservoir to ensure there is always enough water in the system
It needs to be open to get inside… then drilled… and finally I use the same fitting
I used on the dog bowl
Again, I apply plenty of silicon to ensures is watertight
So, the in has been taken care of
Now we need an out
I need a second hole for the hose that will lead to the pump
I decided to use the green cup cause is made of harder plastic
It's enough for the hole to be snug around the hose to avoid spillage
Now it's like the game connect the dots, but with a hose
It's enough to warm it up a bit to make it go easily onto the fittings
A simple hole on the side of the house and I can now install a fosset
Now that everything is connected I can power manually the pump to see if everything is ok
Awesome, the mechanics of it work
Now for the electronics
By connecting a portable computer to the arduino, the microprocessor that will handle both the
sensor and the pump, I can show you what is going on
I wrote some code that reads the distance perceived by the sensor (current) and compares
it with the distance I've set to trigger the pump (trigger)
If the first is lower or equal the ladder the relay is triggered and the pump…
well, it pumps!
The trigger distance can be set with a simple potentiometer
This is useful to fine tune the system and filtered out unwanted triggering
I figured that the best place to install the sensor is near the foset and once the circuit
is powered up with a battery I'm ready to test the entire system… cross your fingers!
Excellent, everything seems to work
But a test wouldn't be a proper test without the presence of a nimce little animal
I think I have just what we need!
Hahaha, I didn't mean this animal…
I meant one of the fury one…
At this point I can button everything up and take a step back to enjoy the result of the
hard work
On paper seemed easy but let me tell you, it has been quite a ride
It looks like Dexter the dog, Butch the cat and the kids are pretty
happy with their new play house
The automated water dispenser works like a charm and everything looks certainly amazing
The Roland UV printer has allowed me to turn some cheap and anonymous material into a canvas
ready to receive any creative idea
This was my vision but what about you, what will it be?
In the next episode I'll complete this project by building a cat wheel while exploring and
documenting what new and exciting opportunities Roland technology can offer us

Arsenal investor Alisher Usmanov: I will not sell 30 per cent stake to Stan Kroenke - Duration: 2:05.Arsenal investor Alisher Usmanov: I will not sell 30 per cent stake to Stan Kroenke
Alisher Usmanov will not sell his stake in Arsenal to majority shareholder Stan Kroenke. The Russian billionaire denied holding talks with majority shareholder Kroenke about a buy-out and insists he remains a long-term investor.
I see my 30% stake as an important aspect in protecting the best interests of the fans in the club, Usmanov said.
But he also claimed that if a buyer emerges who shares his vision for the club, he "could consider" selling his 30 per cent stake.
Usmanov added: "My interest in Arsenal from the beginning was long term and my intention has always been to buy additional shares should they become available.
I would like to assure supporters that I am open to various future scenarios - a constructive partnership with the majority shareholder, the purchase of his stake either alone or in a consortium, or if a party appears who shares my and undoubtedly the majority of fans vision for the club, I could consider the question of selling my stake." Reports emerged this week that Kroenke had made a £525m offer to buy out his rival, who has no seat on the board and no influence on the day-to-day running of the club.
That prompted Arsenal fans unhappy with the way the US tycoon is running the club to appeal to Usmanov to stay put.

Most Common Mistakes When Learning English - Duration: 7:39.Hi guys it's Lia here obviously not the usual background I'm not with Joel
I'm currently out in Borneo working as a volunteer which I'll speak a little bit
more about at the end of the video if you're interested in hearing about that
I don't usually make videos on holiday but I've noticed from my time here in
Indonesia and from when I spent some time in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia five
common mistakes that most people that speak English as a foreign language are
making so I just thought I'd outline the five mistakes and (oh my god flies everywhere)
so I just thought I'd outline the five mistakes that I've noticed and trust me
their English is a lot better than my Indonesian and Malaysian so this video
is purely to help correct those tiny mistakes and sound more fluent it's not
at all a dig so here we go number one the first thing I've noticed is that
people only say the main words in a sentence or the most important words for
instance somebody said to me itch mosquito bite? I kept itching all
of my bites that I've gotten this holiday I'm covered by the way and the
correct sentence would be 'is that mosquito bite itchy' or if you were trying
to offer an opinion 'that mosquito bite looks itchy' my advice to you would be to
just make sure you get those little connecting words into your sentence and
that way the conversation can just flow for longer if they'd have said try not
to itch that mosquito bite I could have said you're right I'm always getting
bitten and I'm always making it worse which would have made for a more
fruitful conversation the lighting is changing whoa that's exactly what I
didn't want huh
so number two the second thing I would say is that mixing up the
past the present and the future is something that a lot of people are doing
and it's a really easy mistake to make somebody said to me I wake in middle
night
two things wrong with that sentence it's the wrong tense
I wake is future
tense I woke is past tense so in for that I woke up in the middle of the
night and the second thing wrong with the sentence is exactly what I just did
they missed out the connecting words which we spoke about in the first point
so I wake in middle night changes to I woke up in the middle of the night
easy-peasy just literally a tiny change and suddenly you're sounding more and
more fluent I appreciate people who just have a go at it and like people that
just have a go even if they're getting it wrong it's actually better for you to
just say it and get it wrong than to just not say it at all which leads me on
to my third point nice and easy and it's just getting things the wrong way around
it's in loads of European languages as well the pen blue should be the blue pen
the knife sharp should be the sharp knife or in Indonesia and as they say
the Parang I'll show you a Parang it's terrifying the knives they use here they're
absolutely bonkers
sorry there's a fly on my leg there's a chicken walking
over there there's a dog chasing a cat over there and I'm finding it really
hard to focus on this video
okay point number four is expand your vocabulary
because I'm sure there's so many times where you've wanted to say something in
English but you just haven't got the words to say it so Joel and I have done a
video on expanding your vocabulary and I just want to stress it again so I was
speaking to a guy who said
my sister she has the feeling strong she has the
feeling strong what he was trying to say to me was that his sister is emotional
in comparison to his brothers who were all kind of like fighters he said my
sister she has the feeling strong and I actually thought to myself if there's
one thing that we English speakers can learn from the Indonesian it's that
they'd be amazing at writing song lyrics like everything's so poetic apologies
that the Sun has gone behind the clouds again so this video is totally all over
the place in terms of lighting
you don't have to learn
big complex language in order to sound more fluent I was really impressed when
somebody said the sky looks epic that's something you would hear a native
English speaker say because epic is not a big fancy word it's not loads of
letters it's kind of colloquial it's not slang but it's cool and I was just
really impressed by that so for instance somebody said he likes a lot to fight
you know you could just switch that up with he's aggressive he's argumentative
he's got a short fuse he's got a short fuse as a good one because it's a little
bit colloquial again it's kind of like oh he's got a short temper something you
would hear an English person actually say the fifth point is the ordering of
your sentences can I just apologize for the change in lighting settings
throughout this whole video I cannot control the Sun.
Our tour guide actually
tour guide is a pretty boring title for him he's more of a jungle tour guide
because he's actually been taking us around the jungle we call him che
guevara because he's like a total basically he is Che Guevara
he said to us very scared my father and the order of that sentence doesn't make
sense because I don't understand whether he's saying I am scared if my father or
my father is very scared okay kitty can you get out my video now please
from his sort of mannerisms and the way he's stressing 'very scared' suggested to
me that he's very scared of his father sounds dark the conversation was just
really innocent we were just talking about families and stuff okay the Sun
has officially gone behind the clouds again this is going to be all over the
place just by ordering your sentences correctly you can be understood better
on this end because I can just focus on the conversation rather than trying to
like unwind and unpick exactly what it is you're trying to say so guys I hope
you've enjoyed this video like I said I don't normally make
videos when I'm on holiday but if you if you found it useful be sure to leave a
comment in the description and subscribe if you haven't already subscribed to this
channel I've been posting on my Instagram page videos from my time at
FNPF and my time in Indonesia what I've been up to so be sure to check that out
@liahatz and make sure you follow Joel as well because he's just survived
a hurricane in America he's been on holiday in Florida and that's been mental
so follow him too on instagram and if you want to tune in on the 9th of October at
14:00 GMT Greenwich MAYBE time Greenwich Mean Time
maybe time I always say Greenwich maybe time Joel and I are gonna be doing like
a live Instagram just catching up because we haven't seen each other in
like a month and a half and it would be good English conversational practice for you
at home so thank you so much for watching to the end of the video guys
see you again next time for a normal lesson back at my house in
London

Review Makeup: Huda Beauty Desert Dusk Eye Shadow Palette (Bahasa Indonesia & English Subtitle) - Duration: 12:35.Hello beauty babes! Back here with me Erlina
In this channel, I'm sharing beauty tips
beauty hacks, product review and makeup tutorial
If you are new, welcome to my channel
And don't forget to hit the subscribe button down below
Also, please check the description box below
for notes and mentions in this video
In this video I will review a makeup product That is currently in hype
from Huda Beauty
Desert Dusk Palette
So, my friend brought this for me from overseas
and I have not opened it yet
I just received it today
and I want to unboxed this with you guys
also review and give my opinion about this product
Okay, let's get started!
So this is the box, shiny purple color
Written here Huda Beauty, Desert Dusk Palette
This is the back side
Written here made in Italy
This are the sides
There is the batch number right here
On this side also written "Desert Dusk Palette"
Nothing on the other side
If you are planning to buy, this is the original product
Let's see the inside
This is very pretty
This is the palette, and this is the look of its back
The package is made of cardboard
There is also the batch number right here
So this number on the palette is the same one with the one on the box
So the inside
comes with this plastic cover
The mirror is very generous
with Huda Beauty logo written on it
This palette holds 18 colors
For this color, I have watched a review on YouTube
Some got it just fine, but some also got it dented
It appears that I am not the lucky one I got this one dented too
This is like a pressed glitter
But, it didn't seem to get pressed neatly enough
I will swatch first with finger
then I'll compare it with using brush
I will swatch the first row
So the first color is Desert Sand
It is cream color with a little touch of orange
The second one, Musk
This Musk color shade is mocha
The third color is eden
sort of peach
The fourth color is Amber
it is brick orange
The fifth is Blood Moon
Woah! I liked this
The sixth color is Oud
it is simply brown color
This first row holds warm colors
Applied using finger, the color is vivid
Next, I will apply below each color using brush
First, Desert Sand
Hmmm...
Using brush it has to be applied a few times
The color is very light
Maybe, because the color is similar to my skin tone
so it doesn't really show
The second color – Musk
The third color – Eden
The fouth color - Amber
This fourth color is quiet pigmented
but it is pretty different with when it is applied using finger
The fifth color is Blood Moon
I think this Blood Moon should be applied using finger
'cause it is quite an effort to make it visible
Not as metallic as when using finger
The last one on the first row – Oud
So, this one is Desert Sand
Using finger and brush
Musk
Eden
Amber
Blood Moon
and Oud
Continuing to the second row
The first color is Celestial
It is duo chrome color
pink and gold
And then, Nefertiti
it is peach color, with gold glitter
The third one – Twilight
Woo!
My new favorite!
Duo chrome pink and purple color
The fourth color is Amethyst it is purple
The fifth – Royal
it is metallic dark purple color
The last of the second row is Retrograde
This color is light brown with purple glitter
I will now apply using brush
The first one is Celestial
This is Celestial
And then Nefertiti
The third one – Twilight
Still my favorite
The fourth is Amethyst
The fifth – Royal
The last of second row – Retrograde
So these are Celestial
Nefertiti
Twilight
Amethyst
Royal
and Retrograde
This second row, mostly are shimmer
These are duo chrome
This and this
For this one, if you look closely, this has sparkle
So the gold color is glitter
So the matte color is just this one, Amethyst
Continuing to the third row
The first one Cashmere
It like this
And then Angelic
Wow! This is also pretty!
Another new favorite
I think this beats the previous
The color is pink
Duo chrome with gold
And then, oh my God!
The third color is Cosmo, the dented color
When I touched it, it is moving
Like almost falling off
This is Cosmo
This is truly just glitter
Like a pressed glitter
And the fourth one is Turkish Delight
Wow! this is do pigmented
The fifth is Saffron
This one is matte
The last one – Blazing, also matte
The color is orange
Now I will apply again with brush
So I am now using brush The frist color – Cashmere
The second one – Angelic
my favorite
Woohoo! This looks just the same as the one that was applied using finger
This is truly pigmented
And, this third one is the glittery one – Cosmo
I think that this needs glitter glue
The fourth – Turkish Delight
The Turkish Delight is almost the same as Angelic
The color is vivid
However, the Agelic is immediately visible with one swipe
while this one needs 2-3 swipes to make it visible
But the color is so good
Next, to the matte color
Saffron
and the last one is Blazing
This Blazing is pigmented
On this row there are so many pigmented colors
These two are duo chrome
This one is Cosmo, the only glitter
This Turkish Delight is metallic
and the color is so nice
and these two are matte
So, after the swatch, my top 3 favorites are
Angelic, Twilight and Royal
My most concerned goes to Cosmo, the glitter
Because when I applied it using my finger
The glitter seems like almost falling off, not really stick to the palette
Seems like needed more pressure
So you might want to be careful with this color
Better using your finger to apply it
Press it against the palette
And it will stick
Next, I will use it on my eyes
I will apply the Desert Sand color
And I have used eye primer before applying this eyeshadow
I use this as a base, so that it will easily blended with other eyeshadow color
Then I apply Amber color
I apply it on the eye crease
and I blend it upwards
I blend it very lightly to make a gradient
Then I apply Oud color
I apply this to make depth
Next, I will add concealer on the front corner I am using Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
Then I will apply Twilight color
I am choosing the Twilight color, because I wanted to see the duo chrome color in action
The duo chrome color is better to be applied using finger
Because it is quite an effort to make it visible with brush
Damn, so pretty!
Again, I will apply the Amber color
I will apply it on my under eye
Next, I applied Oud color
and on the eye corner, I am using Twilight color again
Under the eyebrow or on the browbone I'm using Desert Sand color
Next, I will apply eyeliner
Then I am using fake eyelashes from Huda Beauty - Noel
So, this is the final look guys!
So, I am using this eyeshadow color – Desert Sand
Amber, Oud and Twilight
I'm using the Dessert Sand as base
Then applied the Amber on the outer eyelid leaving the center blank
I blended it outwards
Then I applied Oud
To make depth on the outer corner
Then I covered the front corner with concealer halfway through
and then I applied Twilight using my finger
Overall, I liked this palette
Because the colors are mostly vivid There are some fall off, but manageable
That's all for now Thank you for checking out this video

Questions to Ask Your Financial Advisor | No Dumb Questions with Nancy Graham - Duration: 4:41.In my last "No Dumb Questions," I took a swing at some of those tricky questions
that can be awkward to ask your existing advisor.
Like: Whether there's better financial advice out there than what you're currently receiving.
And how an independent advisor can be the equivalent of a personal Chief Financial Officer
for your family wealth.
But how do you find that ideal CFO to safeguard your best interests?
Today, I'm going to mix things up a bit.
For starters, we're going to film this bit from our off-site location at the Ottawa Hunt
& Golf Club, where we're proud to be supporting this year's Golf Canada and Canadian Pacific
Women's Open.
Also, in my next couple of videos, instead of answering a "No Dumb Question," I'm
going share some questions you can ask when interviewing financial advisors.
Keep sending me your own questions as well!
And don't forget to subscribe to "No Dumb Questions" for more answers to any awkward
financial questions you may have been afraid to ask.
If you've ever had the opportunity to be the boss of a business, you know how hard
it is to interview job applicants.
In a few, short conversations, you have to decide who you want to hang out with all day,
every day, for years to come.
Talking about potential water traps!
Thankfully, on the professional front, I think my hiring game has been above par.
This summer, "Team Graham" has even come together to attend the CP Women's Open at
the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club -- from where we're filming today's segment.
In this video and my next one, let's leverage some of the lessons I've learned as a business
owner to offer nine questions you can use to interview and hire a "Chief Financial
Officer" or CFO for your personal wealth.
And here's hoping you score a hole in one!
What are your credentials?
Just as you wouldn't hire an apprentice to be your general contractor, you can quickly
weed out any advisor applicants who simply don't have the chops for the job.
For starters, you should be able to disqualify anyone who lacks a robust résumé, including
at least a financial degree or two, key industry licenses and several years of on-the-job experience.
For example a CFP - a certified financial planner is a designation that requires some
basic training in personal wealth and income taxes is a minimum requirement for me.
Additional financial designations like CIM or CFA provide evidence of more significant
training in financial markets.
A CPA,CA designation is a big benefit for understanding and helping manage and optimize
the outcomes of your business/financial structure.
A TEP is a designation that shows experience and training in estate matters.
Next, what services do you provide?
Is your would-be advisor equipped to provide a lot more than an investment account, stocked
with the in house proprietary product offerings?
If you're going to pay an extra fee for advice about your total financial interests,
you'd best find someone independent who talks and walks at a higher level of client
care – like the kind I described in my recent video on getting your money's worth out
of your advisor fees. Next...
How much am I paying?
Speaking of fees, I've seen this become an especially awkward question if your prospective
advisor is also a friend or family member.
Put it this way: If you're uncomfortable asking about costs, or the advisor is dismissive
when answering this basic question, is it worth risking your friendship or your best
financial interests – or potentially both – by accepting a vague response?
Next...How are you paid?
I've covered this one before, in this summer's "Cautionary Tale" video.
Besides understanding how much you are paying, it's imperative to understand the sources
of compensation involved.
There are your fees that you pay clearly and directly.
Then there are potential commissions, incentives, bonuses and so on that pass between the advisor,
their employer and a host of potential third-party providers.
Let's just say the less of your advisor's compensation that's coming directly from
you, the less likely it'll be your best interests driving the play.
So … What are your credentials and what do you have to offer me?
How much are am I paying, and in what form?
These are four key questions that help eliminate the weakest players in an initial round.
From there, you can start asking more probing questions to narrow the selection further.
I'm Nancy Graham, and in my next "No Dumb Questions," I'll share five more questions
you can use in your "find an advisor" championship.

Floating Leaf Meditation | 10 Minute Guided Meditation for Racing Thoughts | Visualization - Duration: 11:01.Hi, I'm Christina and welcome to my channel ChriskaYoga! In today's video
We will be doing a floating leaf meditation this meditation is
perfect for releasing your mind from worry
I have done a similar meditation to this on this channel as well, but this one has a bit more
imagery and visualization
Involved so it's really awesome way to get rid of maybe a worry that you're having a particular. Worry if you're
Stressing about something this one is a great one to keep in your back pocket and do whenever you need to
Before we get started if you aren't yet subscribed to this channel

Every single week it is completely free to subscribe
There is no risk to you whatsoever and I would love to have you join our community
That is growing every single day of awesome amazing
Nice people and I would love for you to join us so let's get started
Begin by sitting in a comfortable seated position with
Your legs cross on the ground
Or in chair whatever it is most comfortable for you
Just be sure that your spine is straight
When you're ready close your eyes
Come inward and begin to deepen your breathing
Breathing in and out through your nose
Start to focus your attention on your inhales and your exhales
Notice the way your breath feels as it moves in and out of your body
Notice how every time you inhale
Your rib cage expands and your abdomen expands outward
And every time you exhale the ribs and the abdomen come back inward
Releasing the breath from your body
Remain here for several deep breaths focusing on your inhales and your exhales
You
I now invite you to join me for a visualization
Visualize yourself sitting beside a flowing stream and
Imagine that the stream has leaves floating all along the water's surface
As you're sitting by the stream
Each time that a thought comes into your mind
Take that thought
place it on one of the leaves those on the water's surface and
Watch the thought
float away on
the leaf
It doesn't matter what kind of thought it is whether it's happy or sad
Just take the thought place it on the leaf and watch it float away
If at one point your thoughts stop
Just continue to visualize and watch the stream
Watch it moving and watch all the leaves moving with it
As you're here be sure
That the leaves and the stream are going at its own pace you
Are not trying to rush the thoughts away
Or get rid of them quickly
Just allow them to come and go at their own pace
If for some reason your mind starts to place judgment
Saying that you are not doing this correctly
Or that you don't feel this is
beneficial to you
place those thoughts on the leaves as well and
Watch them pass just as the others did
If a leaf with a thought gets stuck or pauses just
Allow that leaf to remain for as long as it needs to
Until it's ready to float away, and you're ready to let it go
If that same thought comes up again
Just watch it float by as many times as you need to
If a difficult thought comes into your mind
That distracts you and makes you feel a certain way just
Be mindful and notice that that thought is giving you a certain feeling and
repeat the motion of placing the thought on the leaf and
Watching it float away
There may be moments
Where your thoughts completely?
distract you from this process
And you forget about the leaves and the stream
If this is the case
when that occurs
Just notice when you start to realize that you have stopped
Visualizing the water and the leaves and when you're ready come back
to the water
Come back to the leaves then place the thought on top of the floating leaf
You can remain here if you would like to run as long as you need or
If you're ready
Gently bring your attention back to your inhales and your exhales
Noticing the way the breath is making your body feel
And deepening your inhales expanding your ribcage
And releasing the air out completely with your exhales
When you're ready
Slowly begin to bring some motion back into your body
By gently moving your hands your fingers your arms
And slowly start to open your eyes by gently bringing the light back in

I'm sure that pro carpet people will be able to suggest the best way of doing it,
I did my best and this is what I did
Using some fairly inexpensive felt carpet, 5 Euros per square meter, I covered all surfaces
using mainly glue and staples
In the next episode I'll complete this project by building a cat wheel while exploring and
documenting what new and exciting opportunities Roland technology can offer us
Don't forget to press like, subscribe to our channel and if you have suggestions on
what the next projects could be drop us a line in the comment section
Thank you for watching,
I'm Custom Cez for Roland Master Maker and I'll see you next time!

Olive Box Fall Foliage Unboxing 2017| Pink Olive | Paper Goods and Stationary - Duration: 13:37.hello everyone welcome back to my channel my name is coral and I'm the
founder of coral joy travel a travel agency specializing in Disney vacations
today I'm going to do something a little different it's not Disney specific it is
stationary specific I not only love Disney but I love handwriting notes
I love thank-you cards I think it's something that is getting forgotten and
I value receiving mail and I love taking the time to write notes handwritten
notes to my clients my friends my family a week or so ago I went to a town in New
York called Cold Spring really cute town on the Hudson River and I fell upon this
shop very cute card shop called pink olive I had never been in pink olive
before it just had very creative gift cards stationery some unique gifts books
writing utensils just just quaint cute shop apparently they have a shop or a
couple shops down in Brooklyn in New York City I was fascinated I picked up a
few things for some of my friends not only that but because I mentioned I love
papers so much they said oh we have a monthly subscription box no no actually
it's not monthly its quarterly I believe a quarterly subscription box that
they're just starting up this fall called the olive box so yeah I got I
ordered it this is my first olive box it is for fall 2017 I'm in love with this
packaging actually I'm going to save this box and give it to someone I'm sure
I'll use it somehow I believe the olive box was about $50 every quarter and I signed up
for the year because if I sign up for the year I wouldn't have to pay for
shipping and handling otherwise shipping and handling would be
additional to the $50 and if I'm going to commit to this I might as well just
jump with two feet go do it I'm excited also I was able to use a promo code they
gave me a promo code for my first box oh yes
so the promo code that I received was 10% off my first box and I used the code
newbie NEWBIE so I'm sure you could use that too I don't get any
proceeds from it I just am sharing that information so you can save too if you
are interested in this oh so I'm really happy to see what we got inside you want
to be the first to see I will show you before me
how does it look does it oh my gosh it looks pretty fantastic it actually
smells really good so this is the fall foliage box it says it's about time
someone says fall is empirically the best season crisper weather cozy
sweaters stargazing in the night sky and pumpkin everything what's not to like
honestly send the best of spicy scents and pretty patterns with this foliage
folio uh sure in autumn with this carefully
curated collection of indie finds good for wide-eyed dreamers and kind-hearted
schemers I mean how how sweet is that note and it smells so amazing so what I
see right on top is this adorable little doggie on the olive box boxes that says
happy day and I'll be able to use this for someone so happy day and it would be
I'm assuming blank inside so this can be really for anybody just
to give an encouraging word or send something positive yep it's blank inside
but I mean I love the salmon color or maybe we could even just call it coral
colored envelope for the pink olive and this happy Day card I fantastic and we
have the crinkle paper Wow where to start
oh goodness gracious I really really am excited about this this is big
picture farm farmstead caramels alright farmstead caramels listen to the
flavors this is the field collection raspberry rhubarb bourbon cider and
chocolate mint caramels uh yes please I'm trying to see where this is made and
this happens to be made in handmade in Vermont just say the city in Vermont but
I used to live in Vermont up near Burlington which I love so big picture
farm is a Vermont goat dairy and farmstead confectionary committed to
making the finest and most delicious caramels in the world using fresh goat's
milk from our own herd I love Vermont oh yay clever creative unique two thumbs up
next I have here and opening up a pink olive pumpkin spice soy candle it's four
ounces and it smells like fall like autumn I wish I could capture the smell
and then just ooze it out to you in YouTube land it smells so good and I
love this brassy colored tin this is what it looks like on top nothing on the
bottom so this is the pumpkin spice soy candle Wow incredible the nice thing
with boxes like is you can keep some things and you can
share some things with your friends and family to kind of give them a taste of
whatever the season happens to be oh wow I'm going to keep these believe it or
not oh look at how adorable this is this is a super-sweet card it says falling
for you with this sweet little bunny and this is by a company called dear Hancock
we've got a gourd the fall leaves all piled up and let's pull this card out so
you can take a peek at it kraft paper brown envelope and here's the card nice
heavy cardstock - and then the deer hancock company this is so adorable
I will definitely you know I will use this and honestly it encourages me to
write more so that makes me really happy
there is so much more in this box I think the value is going to be just
amazing gosh you guys I yeah I want to keep all of these cards
this is these are my colors really subtle but there's on this card so this
is a thank you card which I seem to buy a ton of and it's I think it's either a
rose gold or maybe it's just a regular gold font that's just thanks I hope you
can capture I can capture that glimmer there but isn't that beautiful aren't
those colors beautiful and the same print goes on the back I think that's so
fun when they do that we have like a light grey envelope that that comes with
this can be used any time of the year which I love the other ones are more all
specific ooh what's this this is who I think this
is a soap a handcrafted soap a lavender and I never know how to say this yalena
lang oh wow it's called peace and poise and this is
an organic soap made with olive oil coconut oil palm oil water sunflower oil
and the essential oils of lavender and delaying delaying this I'm trying to see
I love to see where these are handcrafted from not sure where it's
from but the company is called keeps handcrafted calm and I will write that
information Wow just a very simple handcrafted bar again
the lavender smell is really what I'm getting I love lavender smells
I love diffusing essential oils I actually do that some in some of my
videos and sometimes I forget to stop diffusing and it looks really odd that
all this vapor is coming out behind me but it's just essential oils if I'm
doing that this is the peace and poise handcrafted soap by Keats handcrafted
calm says handcrafted up there and the company keeps on the bottom this might
be a nice gift to give someone you know sometimes we need a little pick-me-up
and smell like this can really brighten someones day I'm really excited about
what this is I'm trying to read we have here oh gosh three notebooks it's a
notebook collection Pendleton Pendleton woollen Mills since 1863 look at this
and what's getting me is the stitching on the side I need to see these up close
a little bit more again I'm a sucker for paper I love to do lists I write notes
all the time as an agency owner I'm constantly
writing notes these are beautiful so here's the first notebook kind of like a
Southwestern vibe and insides all lined paper and that all has the same unique
print with this font up here and then just the simple lines down here is okay
same we have a different notebook but it's the same exact inside this is more
of a darker color on the outside we have inside you can write who it belongs to a
nice mustard color there and then the same paper again that you saw on the
last one and the third one again with that southwestern font print art these
are all pendleton notebooks that beautiful mustard stitching on the
outsides and the same paper on the inside so these notebooks are really
really fantastic i think that's it from my olive box this month so let's recap
we received this month for the fall foliage olive box these three notebooks
the three greeting cards this incredible hand crafted soap these caramels
handcrafted in Vermont unique flavors too and last but not least this pumpkin
spice soy candle oh it's falls it's fall in a box this is my folio for the olive
box and like I said I'll be getting this quarterly if you're interested in
finding more information out about either pink olive their store or the
olive box I'll have all the information in the description box below and I will
include that newbie code thank you guys so much for watching my channel

حديث عبور المؤمنين الصراط - أحاديث نبوية - Duration: 3:25.It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira and Hudhaifa that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, would gather people. The believers would stand till the Paradise would be brought near them. They would come to Adam and say: O our father, open for us the Paradise.
He would say: What turned ye out from the Paradise was the sin of your father Adam. I am not in a position to do that; better go to my son Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah.
He (the Holy Prophet) said: He (Ibrahim) would say: I am not in a position to do that. Verily I had been the Friend (of Allah) from beyond, beyond; you better approach Moses (peace be upon him) with whom Allah conversed.
They would come to Moses (peace be upon him), but he would say: I am not in a position to do that; you better go to Jesus, the Word of Allah and His Spirit. Jesus (peace be upon him) would say: I am not in a position to do that. So they would come to Muhammad (ﷺ).
He would then be permitted (to open the door of Paradise). Trustworthiness and kinship would be despatched, and these would stand on the right and left of the Path and the first of you would pass with (the swiftness) of lightning.
He (the narrator) said: I said, O thou who art far dearer to me than my father and my mother I which thing is like the passing of lightning? He said: Have you not seen lightning, how it passes and then comes back within the twinkling of an eye?
Then (they would pass) like the passing of the wind, then like the passing of a bird, and the hastening of persons would be according to their deeds, and your Apostle would be standing on the Path saying: Save, O my Lord, save.
(The people would go on passing) till the deeds of the servants would be failing in strength, till a man would come who would find it hard to go along (that Path) but crawlingly. He (the narrator) said: And on the sides of the Path hooks would be suspended ready to catch anyone whom these would be required (to catch).
There would be those who would somehow or other succeed in trasversing that Path and some would be piled up in Hell. By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Abu Huraira it would take one seventy years to fathom the depth of Hell.
Sahih Muslim - hadith 195
