Oh my God! A titan class figure! Monster! A monster came to our home!
Huge box! Really, very big box, the biggest box I have ever seen from close!
Titans Return Fortress Maximus, Emissary & Cerebros.
Huge box. As you can see here is Fotress Maximus in his robot mode.
On the right of the box it says "Transformers". Top and right, the Generations logo.
On the top side of the box you see an Autobot symbol over here.
Here you see the Headmaster. Here you see Cerebros. Fortress Maximus here and some of his gimmicks.
On the bottom side of the box, nothing special.
On the side of the box you see a bio about Fortress Maximus, you can now pause the video to read it.
On the other side of the box you see Fortress Maximus in his robot mode.
And on the back side of the box you see some product shots.
I am bringing in MMC Overlord so you can understand how big is this box!
Fortress Maximus comes with these stickers. We won't put these stickers on the figure.
We will put the Reprolabels stickers, we will make another video for the stickers.
He comes with this card.
Tech specs on the other side of the card.
And of course he comes with the instructions, here they are.
I really don't understand why Hasbro gave us a big leaflet.
They could simply do it as a booklet... -_-
Enough with the accessories, let's see the figure from close now!
And here we have Titans Return Fortress Maximus in his awesome robot mode!
First of all, I would like to apologize to you because our set is visible
but as you understand this figure is huge and it will be a little bit difficult to show it to you.
My buddy Stefanos is near me who will show you the figure, Stefanos?
- Hello from me as well. As you can see it's a huge figure.
First, I will show you a 360 to see him from all the angles.
It's a very big figure! Let me show you his articulation now.
His head can turn left and right. His arm is on a ratchet-joint, it can rotate 360 degrees.
There is double-jointed elbow. It can rotate at the elbow, ratchet-joints as well.
There is fist rotation. His fingers can move individually.
His thumb can move only up and down. And the hand can move up and down.
Because Fortress Maximus is based on.... ....uuuhm....what was his name... Stathi?
- Metroplex? - Metroplex, exactly! They have some similar parts.
This area here is similar, his feet as well, his legs also with some minor changes.
Also, these bars here can move up and down but they're not tight to stay up, so they always fall down.
There is waist rotation.
His leg can move back and forth.
It can move up until here. He has tight ratchet-joints.
It can bend at the knee. Unfortunately there's no articulation to the foot.
- Is there any rotation at the leg? - It can rotate above the knee.
- Above the knee. - Exactly.
That's all about his articulation. So let's see now some of his gimmicks.
One of his gimmicks is this button here, if you press it he makes some sounds.
Unfortunately, I don't have any batteries at the moment, we might hear these sounds in another video.
This piece here can open. It has a gun in here, it can rotate.
It is used mostly in the base mode but if you want to have it opened, that's ok.
No other gimmicks in this area, so let's move on to his feet.
The gimmicks on his feet are these cannons here where you can bring them up like this.
There is another weapon over here, you can lift it up as well.
Also, I won't do it in front of the camera because it's not comfortable from the angle I am,
but you can remove this weapon if you don't like it by pulling it out, in case you want a more clear view on his leg.
- And a size comparison now. Here you see Fortress Maximus next to a leader class figure, Generations Jetfire.
Next to a legends class figure, Titans Return Seaspray.
Next to a deluxe class figure, Generations Sky Shadow.
And next to a hyper-leader class figure, MMC Overlord.
As you understand, Fortress Maximus is a titan class figure.
- So let's transform Fortress Maximus in his jet mode...yea anyway...
First, remove the head. Bring this piece down.
Close his antennas inwards. Turn it upside down. Fold out the legs.
And here you see the Headmaster. Leave it aside for the time being.
As for his arms, straighten the elbow and bring the hand down.
And now bring the arm completely up. Do the same thing to the other side as well.
Open this piece from here.
Why did it pop-out?
So, open it and bring it up, like this. Connect it like this.
Disconnect these pieces from here and bring them to the front.
Now connect them.
As it is now, lie him down.
The next step is to disconnect the feet and bring them down, like this.
It has a small issue here, they don't connect easily. Probably because of the heat?? (wtf?).
Anyway, I will do it later. Lift the cannons a little bit up.
Take Cerebros. Bring this piece down. Now take Cerebros and place him in here.
Remove the Headmaster. Zoom in so they can see it better.
Transform it into the robot mode.
And if you want, you can tab the Headmaster
wherever Fortress has pegs, because under the legs of the Headmaster there are holes.
And this is Fortress Maximus in his jet mode.
One of his gimmicks in his jet mode is that you can lift up the cannons.
Also, because he has the same legs as Metroplex, you can slide them inwards to be closer together.
If you like this look, you can do it.
So let's transform Fortress into his base mode. Remove the Headmaster from here.
What you have to do is to open his legs wide.
Bring this piece backwards, like this. Rotate the cannon to the front.
Bring this bar down.
And if you want you can open these panels from here which you can connect other figures who transform into bases.
You can also place the Headmaster inside this cannon. And Fortress is ready in his base mode!
As you can see his base mode is quite big, it takes much space.
As for his gimmicks, his weapon can rotate. As I said before you can open these panels to
connect leader class figures who tranform into bases.
You can take a legends class figure and you can place it here but it would be better if you'd put an aeroplane here.
Or you can place it in here and it can roll down...
As we said before, his cannons can move up and down. Let's take a look at Cerebros as well. Let me remove him.
Close these pieces so there won't be big gap here. Bring these pieces down to create his feet.
Open the shoulders from here and connect them. Rotate the arms.
Now take the Headmaster and transform it into head. Place it on the body.
Also, it has a switch here, everytime you push it, it makes sounds.
You can put the batteries in here. Unscrew this screw and place the batteries.
So this is Cerebros. As for his articulation, his head can turn left and right.
It can move a little bit up and down.
His cam can move up until here, it can rotate 360 degrees.
It can rotate at the elbow because it's on a ball-joint.
It can bend at the elbow. No waist rotation.
The leg can move back and forth, up until here,
and if you want you can see the joint of the transformation to bend the leg like this.
Rotates at the thigh, bends at the knee, no articulation at the foot, they can only move upwards due to the transformation.
So this is Cerebros, we will show you a size comparison now to see his size.
- And a size comparison now, here is Cerebros next to a voyager class figure, Generations Roadbuster
and next to a deluxe class figure, Generations Sky Shadow. As you can see, Cerebros is a voyager class figure.
- So let's transform Cerebros into a head. Rotate the arms so these gaps are facing forward.
Close the shoulders, like this. Close the heel and the foot.
Fold the leg inwards, there is a peg here it will tab with this hole here.
Turn it upside down. Open the antennas from here.
And bring this piece upwards. And the head of Fortress Maximus is ready!
So let's transform Fortress Maximus now into his robot mode!
First, rotate the cannon, now close it. Close this bar as well.
Bring the feet up and connect them like this. I will rotate him 360 degrees.
Bring his legs down.
Disconnect these pieces and bring them back, they will tab securely.
Lift him up.
Bring his arms down.
Rotate the hands.
Disconnect this piece and bring it down.
Finally, take the head and connect it here.
And Fortress Maximus is back into his robot mode!
- Final thoughts... Fortress Maximus is a very impressive figure because of his size.
First time in my life I see a titan class figure. I must admit I am impressed.
We didn't put his stickers because as I told you before we will put the Reprolabels stickers
so we will make another video about it.
As for his articulation, it's normal, not the best articulation but not the worse either.
As for the plastic quality, it's normal, it's not bad, though Fortress Maximus is hollow.
He has very easy transformation. All of his modes are very easy to transform.
Generally, I think it's a very nice figure, that's all from me, Stefanos?
- A very impressive figure for its size.
Something that I forgot to tell you is that he has small wheels underneath so he rolls fine as you see.
I think he is a little bit overpriced for the plastic quality they gave us.
Personally, I found him on sales, it costed 150 euros shipped. So I thought it was a good deal for his size and quality.
Other than that, I don't think he is worth the money.
But he is very impressive because of his size, that's all from me.
- Thank you all for watching, if you enjoyed this video please leave a comment or hit the like button and subscribe.
We are Stathis and Stefanos, and until next time, I'll see you around! :)
