Sermon Clip: "Don't be hard on Judas, be hard on you." - Duration: 2:10.You and I in our life have to be very careful because it's not the big dramatic things that Satan is
influencing in your life. It's the subtle things.
It's the everyday things you give him an opening
the things you watch, the ways you behave,
the way you function
in normal everyday things of life.
That's where he has influence and you have to be very careful.
We let him and we invite him in not necessarily with our words,
but in our actions, by our attitudes, by our behaviours. That's what actually happens.
Think about the way adultery works. Rarely does somebody have an amazing marriage,
killer marriage, 30 years in the game, everything's perfect.
Then the guy goes to a grocery store and all of a sudden wakes up beside another woman it goes,
"I don't know what just happened." That's pretty rare.
How does adultery end up happening?
There's a slow corrosion of your marriage
and then you're too proud and your ego's too big to go get counselling for it.
You start to stray sexually from one another, there's not a good sex life.
Some people start to fantasize. You start to have emotional connections to people.
And there's all these tiny little steps along the way
and all of a sudden you get into a rhythm, in a pattern, and an emotional connection
that you have with somebody else, and that's how affairs happen.
They're not all of a sudden. They're slow corrosions where you've invited something into your life.
This is how Satan actually works. This is not the first time Judas and Satan have got along.
He's invited him in through his actions, behaviours, attitudes.
So here's the question for you and me,
don't be hard on Judas, be hard on you. What are the things in your life right now, the doors?
The invitations that you are allowing evil to actually come into your life?
What are the things about you right now, the things you're doing that actually not by words
but by by your life are inviting evil to destroy you and destroy the people around you?
That's what the story of Judas is about for you and me.
It's about us going, "Man, what is that thing right now?"

OMG, IDK, MFT. This is how to do a Las Vegas interview. - Duration: 10:26.MFT coming up next why are there always three letters in these things idk
Hey there it's the shootin guy and just shootin kid, thanks so much for joining us today
We do appreciate that a lot if you are subscriber thumbs up to you guys
You guys are awesome if you're just swinging by to wonder what we're doing today, and you're visiting well consider subscribing
Please do so recently about two months ago. We did a video
Maybe it was a little longer than that we did a video on this thing here the foregrip from mission first tactical
And we loved that thing well I'll put a link down below
so you can take a look at that it was a whole lot of fun we had a great time and
You don't want to miss that video yeah
And I got a chance to interview Andy at shacho 2018 and we got to check out their new products
So let's go down to the floor right now and check them out. Let's go
Hey guys
We're here at Chad field
2018 with mission first hat school if you guys remember a few videos back and we ran over a mission first tactical
Forearm with the lawn mower so we might be breaking some more stuff here soon
but
I'm here with Andy and he's going to be telling us about some of their holsters that they've been coming out with so Andy all
Right here. We go. We'll start with our outside the waistband holster, so it's a two-piece design
It's made from a bolt-on composite, so it's a little bit stronger a little bit more durable than what standard Kydex would be
We got our top 25 models already for this year and growing about two models per month
Everything that you see here is cut for an arm our relief with a high sweat band retention here very comfortable to wear very sleek
We have a built in retention for this whole so some people want an adjustable set
We want to take it to another level and make this a very very high-end high-quality future so all
This is built into this holster. Nothing to lose nothing to fail
Still a very good solid retention coming out
But a good audible click when everything goes back together for a positive fit
These are a very highly engineered mold to make something like this
So when the gun goes into these holsters were here. There is no move
It is very solid very tight inside of it
So by doing so a constant in and out and when you're wearing the gun all day
From no movement you get very low holster wear on anything here for what would be a plastic holder
So a great quality piece. They retail at $69.99 with a map of $59.99
With that we'll move into our iwb series
This is brand new for this year
It is an ambidextrous both left and right-handed carry holster
So if you want to wear it on your left side you would just take this off and move it to the opposite side
Now you can wear this straight as an appendix or this can tilt 15 degrees to come to a strong side carry
Again, these are all cut with a sweep for an arm are set and if it's something that's smaller like a shield or your single
Stacks it just adds for a quicker out and draw
These do have a retention set on them just because if it's on the inside you're gonna pinch the gun a little bit more so
we want to give you the ability to adjust that setting a little bit, but
Just like the oh the owb this again does not have any movement whatsoever
inside of there so when that goes in same low holster wear
And very tight very good feel
Finish out our line. We do have our series of magazine pouches
So from the wall here
You can see we got some doubles and some singles and we're going to start with our 9 millimeter and 40
generic set so these will fit about
75% of the nine-millimeter size 40 caliber magazines our doubles will come with
Belt loops these will be an inch and a half size belt loop
Our singles will come with a clip that was just like on our iwp models
So we'll have these four 1911 a couple of 380 calibers the ar-10 the ar-15 in the ak-47 magazines
These will retail rate at about $39
All right, we got another tooth in for mission first hats cool
We got four compensators in one flash suppressor and Andy's going to tell us about it right now
So Andy all right here. We go. We'll start with our very first flash hider. It's a very simple
three-prong design
But we did add a small porthole on top so when this is timed in place
You get a little bit of extra gas pressure to help keep that muzzle climb down this will reduce about 95% flash
All at the same time by keeping a thin slim profile. This is six hundred and twenty thousand s
Which is the same profile as the barrel on your AR?
So if you want to fix this in place and slide a gas block over that you can
There's no need to take this on and off in order to change anything out on your barrel
So that's gonna carry over to some of our muzzle brakes as well
Starting with our first one here
Again, you got a tiny little three prong in the front, but it is still a compensator
It is not a flash either the two ports on the side will help with a little bit of recoil reduction
Where our four-pole design on top will help keep that muzzle climbed down just a little bit where these three prongs will help keep
Some of that blast mitigated to the front where you still have some coming out the side
So it should still be a very comfortable brake to handle
for some of our
Lesser American states we have a compliant compensator that can work in all 50
It's a simple birdcage design on a 360 all the way around with a deep crown in the front
so again it may still be a little bit loud to fire you can still put this on any gun in any state and
Use it as you may same dimension. You can slide gas blocks straight over that if that's fixed to your barrel
Moving down we got something for a little bit of the shorter barrel
This is a four prong design in the front with two large ports on the side
And two small directly on top when timed so on a shorter barrel you're gonna
Have a lot more flash coming out the end and a lot more gas pressure
we want to be able to cone that gas pressure and keep it moving forward a
little bit easier for if you're shooting indoors, or if you're shooting on a firing line with your buddies
this would be a break that would keep your buddies friends and not enemies make them run away from you and
Then for our heavy hitters something for a little bit of a longer barrel a little bit more of target shooting
this is a full recoil reduction and muzzle climb device this will take a
Significant amount of recoil and climb down so if you're laying prone
or
If you're taking those long shots in any kind of sitting this is gonna be a very comfortable break to run for you guys
It's got a real nice deep crown on the front
Good three port design there and these holes are actually angled at a 45 degree back towards the shooter
So a very controllable break
So these will run in this line from $29.99 to $99.99 in retail
Alright, so there you all have it
mission first at school the new holsters and
Let me tell you what they are awesome
And their muzzle brakes and flash pressors
Awesome products Andy where can we grab some of these products you?
Can grab them from any one of our distribution wide should have all our products so there y'all have it mission first hats cool

Movies You Should Watch By Yourself - Duration: 5:16.Movie-watching can be an enriching communal experience, but some films are better enjoyed
solo.
Contemplative dramedies, slow-burning thrillers, dialogue-free dramas — certain films are
best absorbed all by yourself, with zero distractions.
For example ...
All Is Lost
Robert Redford's ability to grip audiences with a compelling performance has never waned
throughout his long career.
That gift is particularly evident in J.C. Chandor's All Is Lost, an acclaimed 2013 drama
in which Redford's unnamed sailor endures a litany of increasingly life-threatening
mishaps during a solo ocean voyage.
Watching this film alone is a transformative experience.
There's only one character and he hardly ever speaks, which makes sounds that ordinarily
might not be noticed all the more intriguing.
With most of the sound coming from the main character shuffling around, what would normally
be an ordinary background detail becomes a key factor in the film's immersion.
Every detail in All Is Lost requires your full attention.
Gravity
Alfonso Cuarón's hit 2013 space drama Gravity is a film that filled theaters for weeks—but
in order to truly exert its devastating impact, it needs to be seen alone.
For one, the filmmakers do an excellent job of projecting panic onto the audience after
Sandra Bullock's character is marooned in space.
Fear is alleviated somewhat in a group setting, so truly putting yourself in her position
requires watching the film alone.
Whether or not there's sound in space is up for debate, but Cuarón's command of Gravity's
soundtrack is the second reason you should watch it by yourself—and with the volume
high.
It's the type of film in which the intensity continuously builds, amplified by the skillful
use of sound.
Even the crescendo in the score allows audiences to feel the emotional weight of Bullock's
character's struggle to reach Earth—and survive.
It's a thrillride best experienced alone, with nothing to distract you.
Into the Wild
Based on the novel of the same name by Jon Krakauer, Into the Wild tells the true story
of Christopher McCandless, a recent college grad who braved the Alaskan wilderness in
the early '90s and sadly passed away a few months into his trek.
Into the Wild's judgment-free dramatization of McCandless' doomed pilgrimage offers a
perfectly introspective example of a movie that makes the view think about what they
would do in a similar situation.
Who knows, maybe you'll be inspired to abandon materialism and go on a solo adventure of
your own in the Alaskan wilderness.
It's an incredibly dangerous proposition, but you wouldn't be the first.
The Fountain
Darren Aronofsky's filmography is studded with Biblical symbolism, and The Fountain,
starring Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz as star-crossed lovers, offers a particularly
absorbing example.
The film is a visual spectacle, to say the least, but its three storylines are just as
finely crafted—and easy to lose track of if you aren't paying close attention.
Lose concentration and you could easily miss details crucial to grasping the story as a
whole.
The Fountain is an exceptionally emotional story, but watching it unfold with a group
of friends might very well take you out of the moment.
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
It may be slow at times—okay, most of the time—but this dramatization of the titular
infamous killing never stops building in intensity, due in large part to the stylized directing
style of Andrew Dominik and the masterful eye of cinematographer Roger Deakins.
The train robbery scene, in particular, is an excellent example of just how hypnotic
cinematography can be.
Do yourself a favor and tune out chatter during a masterpiece like The Assassination of Jesse
James by the Coward Robert Ford.
Lost in Translation
Featuring one of Bill Murray's greatest performances, along with exceptional work from Scarlett
Johansson, Lost in Translation earned Sofia Coppola the third Best Director nomination
offered to a woman in Oscars history.
It isn't that taking in Lost in Translation with a crowd will make you lose sight of the
story—there isn't much of a plot—but the self-reflection the movie motivates stands
to be lost in a group.
Like Johansson's character learns in that unforgettable final scene, there are some
secrets you only learn when you're leaning in close enough to hear a whisper.
Any of Hayao Miyazaki's films
Legendary Japanese filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki has done more for animation than many casual
filmgoers might realize.
His movies may not be as well-known to the general public as Disney's library of hits,
but from The Castle of Cagliostro to The Wind Rises, Miyazaki and his Studio Ghibli have
expanded the animation genre to make room for sophisticated storytelling and exceptionally
beautiful visuals.
They aren't event movies, though, and they aren't made for watching with a group of friends.
Tackling thought-provoking themes in their own distinctive style, Miyazaki movies demand
the type of emotional room you can only get solo.
No Country for Old Men
Based on the Cormac McCarthy novel of the same name, this modern Western thriller won
Best Picture and Best Director at the Oscars.
It's considered one of the greatest films of the century, as well as the Coen brothers'
masterpiece…and that's saying something.
If you're unfamiliar with the form, Westerns can be slow, punctuated with intermittent
bursts of heightened action, and No Country for Old Men is a prime example.
The tension, suspense, and thrills never stop building, yet the film as a whole is eerily
quiet.
If you're forced to deal with distractions during the movie, you'll be taken right out
of the story—breaking its spell and ruining the experience altogether.
"Yes sir.
I got it under control."

A Couple Saw This Lifeless Creature Clinging Onto Rocks But As They Approached They Heard A Noise - Duration: 7:17.The Ohio couple raced down the Central American beach, on a mercy dash for a displaced baby
creature in great distress.
They had heard the elements raging around their visitor lodge the previous night, and
knew that the wild weather had wreaked havoc.
The pair saw the soaked victim of the storm, seemingly motionless, on the rocks of the
shore.
And then they heard the pitiful noise.
Was it telling them that they were too late ?
Lori and Dirk Morgan of Morrow, Ohio, own their own business called Morgan's Canoe,
and Outdoor Adventures in nearby Oregonia.
In addition, up until January 2018, the 50-something couple also ran a Central American extension
to their enterprise called Morgan's Jungle Lodge.
And it was there, in a remote part of Costa Rica, that the Morgans had an outdoor adventure
of their own in early 2018 which swiftly went viral.
The story began on January 15, 2018, at their visitor lodge on the Osa Peninsula, near the
eastern town of Puerto Jiménez.
By Dirk's own admission the location is isolated, but the Morgans marketed the property
as an ecological destination.
In fact, the couple were playing host to a pair of guests that day who had gone down
to a nearby beach to explore.
But the visitors had made the acquaintance of a local down there, who had lost their
way and needed urgent help.
Apparently, while the guests had been walking along the shore that morning they had spotted
an out-of-place baby critter on the rocks.
They returned to the lodge owners with the news, and the Morgans wasted no time.
The couple knew that a storm had lashed the coast the previous night, and that this animal
was probably a victim.
As a result, they dashed off down to the beach to do their best for the stranded youngster.
A baby animal separated from its mother, and out of its natural habitat would be defenseless
on the exposed beach.
Not only would it be at the ocean's mercy, but the infant would be an easy and tasty
treat for any passing predators.
"I took off," Dirk recalled in a interview with USA Today afer the incident later.
Indeed, it appears that Dirk dropped everything in his haste to help.
"I've still got my cooking apron on because I was doing bacon that morning," he elaborated.
"I'm literally sprinting down the beach barefoot, with a kitchen apron on and a box
with a towel in it".
Luckily, he also had a camera on him and was able to film the moment he first saw the unfortunate
creature.
Dirk reported his discovery to the video distributor ViralHog on January 18, 2018.
"We found the rare, young, two-toed sloth that survived the high tide, and a storm overnight,"
he said.
The term for the species is actually a misnomer – two-toed sloths actually have three toes,
while they sport two finger digits.
Furthermore, sloths do not walk in the conventional sense.
Instead, they use their hands to pull themselves along the ground.
This is an extremely slow method of locomotion, hence their name and reputation.
But in fact this ungainly way of getting around does not present much of a handicap to sloths,
since they live most of their lives in trees.
Indeed, the critters use their claws to hang upside down from branches, whether they are
awake or asleep.
Their bodies have adapted to this lifestyle to the extent that a sloth's fur grows upside
down too.
In addition, the pelt attracts algae, which gives it a greenish hue, which aids with the
animal's camouflage.
However, away from tree coverage a sloth is mostly defenseless, and if the Morgans had
not made their mercy dash, the vulnerable baby may not have survived.
As it was, Lori and Dirk had to frighten away a couple of canines who were showing a keen
interest in the sloth.
Dirk spoke soothingly to the distressed infant, and he told USA Today about what happened
next.
"It started making that pitiful crying sound, like a baby," he said.
"And it just… it totally melted my heart.
I needed to help this poor creature out".
He described how the seawater of the recent high tide had soaked the young sloth, and
left him understandably terrified.
The first thing the Morgans did was look around for the sloth's mom, who was nowhere to
be found.
Dirk's camera swept the nearby tree line to no avail.
Perhaps the storm had displaced her too.
Whatever the case, the baby sloth had apparently escaped the rising tide by clinging to rocks
on the beach, and was now petrified in position.
The Morgans knew there was no way they could just leave the infant there.
"With no adult sloths in sight we carefully placed him in a box with a towel," Dirk
explained .
"Then we took him back to the lodge and rinsed the salt water off his face."
They also cleaned the beach sand out of his eyes.
Although they did their best, the Morgans also knew that they could not care for the
orphaned baby themselves.
With this in mind, they next sought out expert assistance.
Dirk continued, "We then took the baby sloth to the animal rescue center at Tranquillity
just down the road".
Dirk concluded, "He seemed to be fine and happy to be dried off and safe".
The Morgans informed news sources that carers at the Tranquility Rescue Center in Puerto
Jiménez planned to look after the sloth for a while.
Apparently when he is strong enough, the sanctuary staff intend to release the two-toed sloth
into the wild again.
Meanwhile, the YouTube footage of the baby critter's rescue had received more than
100,000 views on ViralHog alone.
Some people were critical of the Morgans decision to delay the rescue by filming the sloth's
distress first.
Nevertheless, others appreciated their altruistic actions, and were just as affected by the
animal as Dirk was in his voiceover.
"OMG, that baby sloth is the most precious, innocent thing ever," one commenter cooed
among the plentiful postings of praise.
Nonetheless, Dirk does not think of himself as a hero.
"I think all I did was what any responsible person would do," he maintained to USA Today.
"To rescue a poor animal that obviously had a really rough night".
However, although the story ended happily for the baby sloth, fate had other ideas for
the Morgans.
Indeed, there was no good karma for the couple after they came to the poor critter's aid.
Just a week on from the rescue, a fire broke out at Morgan's Jungle Lodge, and unfortunately
the property was razed to the ground.
The silver lining is that no-one was hurt in the incident.
On the other hand, the fire claimed everything in the lodge, and left the Morgans devastated.
"We are saddened and shocked at this," Dirk told Tennessee newspaper The Jackson
Sun.
No-one knows what caused the fire, but the Morgans have set up a crowd-funding page to
help recover their losses.
The couple have also pledged to donate some of the proceeds of their online appeal to
the Tranquility Rescue Center.
But what happened to the baby sloth the sanctuary took in?
Well, he has now been given the name Guanabana, and apparently he is doing great.
In a news story on the website Cincinnati.Com, Dirk is quoted as saying, "I feel fortunate
that this wonderful little creature touched my life and that I could make a difference
in his".

Does Stamp-on Makeup Really Work? | To The Test - Duration: 4:14.So, makeup is very therapeutic for me, but I don't always have the time I need to give
myself a proper beat.
So I'm trying to look for a quick fix, and today, I'm gonna try out this stamp makeup
situation over here, which will allegedly solve all of my makeup woes.
I picked up this lovely, little eyebrow stamp kit from Kiss.
So, step one in this process is to make sure your skin is moisturized and primed — and
obviously, because nobody's walking around here looking ashy.
Then, we're gonna take this stamp and dab it into this.
My natural brow is thicker than this, so I'm not too optimistic about how this is gonna turn out.
Now that was just the first press, so I'm going to try another one.
With a few applications and my eyebrow spoolie, I was able to make these brows come to life.
I'm going to give the i-Envy by Kiss Brow Stamp, 4 out of 5 stars.
Now that my eyebrows are as set as they are going to be, I'm going to move on to eyeshadow.
Now, I'm a neutral, smokey shadow sort of girl, and I admit that I sometimes spend a
little too much time on my eyes. So I'm hoping that this Amazon find is going to be a good
option.
Sometimes, you never know when you order beauty products on Amazon, but this one was actually
a win.
It's not some cheap, throwaway eyeshadow.
You're actually going to see it.
It actually does slide right on.
Eye Majic Instant Eyeshadow gets a 4!
And now it's time to move on to everyone's favorite part...
eyeliner.
But I found this tool that's supposed to fix that issue.
Introducing, the Vamp Stamp.
Now this is very scary and intimidating, because you know what happens when you mess up your
eyeliner.
You've gotta wipe it off, which means you're wiping off your eyeshadow, which means you're
wiping off primer and foundation, and concealer, and you basically have to start your whole
face over.
Let me try it on my other eye.
GIve it a fair shot.
It gave me a good outline for my winged liner, but I still have to go in and clean it up.
So, it's not really the most time-effective.
I'm going to give the Vamp Stamp: 3 stars!
It has a lot of potential, I love the packaging, I love the design, and I love what it does
on other people... but it's just not right for me.
This is the Kill Cover Stamp Foundation from Clio Professional.
Great packaging, great concept, and I actually use cushions like this from other brands,
in real life.
That's it!
I'm not even gonna go any further with this on my face.
This one just didn't do it for my skin tone, so I can't really say much about that.
We're just gonna act like that foundation bit didn't happen, ok?!
We'll keep that between us.
I know you've seen your favorite makeup artist put a little star right here.
A little icing on the cake.
And this just makes that super quick and easy.
This, I will use on a regular basis.
I will wear this on a Friday night, I will take this with me to Coachella, I might pop
up with it on Wednesday, on payday, 'cause I'm feeling extra fancy.
I have to give it 5 out of 5 stars.
This cute little Tattoo Stamp is definitely a keeper.
Ok, I've got a bonus for you guys.
I feel like I'm gonna get some questions about these.
No, it's not a manicure, it's a press-on.
You guys should really get these.
These press-ons from China Glaze are a legit 10, ok?!
I tried my best.
I found five stamp makeup products across the Internet, and used them to see if I could
give myself good face.
But if you guys have any recommendation on tools that I should use to make my makeup
routine that much faster, let me know... in the comments down there!

VERSUS - SAN YAN 1911 Vs. MARUI 1911 | AIRSOFT - Duration: 6:02.Time to compare!
A cheap and cheerful Chinese copy to a plastic fantastic Japanese original.
I have unboxed both of these replicas in previous videos,
but let's see how they compare to each other.
The SY 1911 is a downright copy of the Marui 1911 MEU.
While the Marui replicates a World War 2 Colt M1911A1.
So one is a copy, the other is a copy of a copy...
I don't like to talk about money, but here it is:
The SY cost 66 dollars.
The MARUI is 162 dollar, and I paid for it with my own blood, sweat and tears.
There.
Are you happy now?
Let's have a look at the exterior first.
The SY 1911 is completely made out of a cheap chinesium alloy of unknown blend and strength,
except the grips which are plastic.
Marui's replica, on the other hand, is made out of high-quality plastic.
However there are a few exceptions like the
mainspring housing, grip safety, thumb safety, hammer, magazine release,
trigger, slide lock, barrel bushing, recoil spring plug and plunger tube,
which are metal.
Now over to the markings.
SY opted for the minimalist approach with next to nothing on the replica.
The only visible marking is the serial number on the frame,
and a caliber marking on the barrel.
Marui in contrast went full regalia with markings and engravings.
It has everything you would expect of a proper replica, and then some!
The fake wrap around grips on the San Yan are… really awful.
The grooves are shallow, and the plastic is really shiny and slippery.
On the Marui 1911 grips the diamond cuts are deep,
providing good friction to hold on to.
The grips look like wood, but are plastic, and on the inside there are metal weights
to add heft.
Lies up on lies up on lies.
Speaking of which, let's have a look at the approximate weight.
The Marui weighs 604 grams sans mag.
The mag weighs 192 grams.
TOTAL: 796 g.
The SY weighs 531 grams sans mag.
The mag weighs 182 grams.
TOTAL: 713 grams
How can the plastic gun weigh more?
The culprit is the two aluminium weights inside the MARUI grips.
Weighing a combined 152 grams.
This is completely redundant, since the magazine compensate for the light
plastic feeling.
Both pistols operate pretty much the same.
Half-cock, full-cock, thumb safety, grip safety, slide lock
and mag release works as they should.
But Marui's controls feel more solid.
On the SY 1911, the trigger reset is beyond critique.
Pretty much non existent.
The Marui pistol trigger reset is both felt and heard.
SY has exaggerated tolerances, causing it to rattle.
This is especially obvious with the slide, barrel bushing,
and at the rear of the slide.
The Marui pistol in contrast is very stable with low tolerances.
The barrel bushing won't move unless you force it.
Even the rear of the slide is stable, just like the rest of it.
TIGHT!
TIGHTTIGHTTIGHTTIGHTTIGHT!
In conclusion
The SY has cheap metal parts in abundance, but the quality control guy could use a swift
kick in the rear,
since bits tend to fall off or not be included at all.
The weight is on the low side, the grips are a nightmare,
and EVERY corner was cut to make the replica as cheap as possible,
consequently making tolerances high, and sacrificing reliability.
However, the SY is a functioning 1911, and stuff happens when you pull the trigger.
Given the price, I'm not even mad.
That's amazing!
The main components of Marui 1911's are indeed made out of high grade plastic,
and the quality control guy is on top of his game.
Tolerances are tight, grips have good friction, and everything works flawlessly.
But the weight is artificial, moving the balance point rearward.
And it is way more expensive than the SY.
But the craftsmanship is reflected in the price of the Marui,
so if you take good care of your replica, it will probably outlast you.
I don't regret buying either 1911, even for a second, but when I enter the field
I want a dependable sidearm.
I want the Marui in my holster.
So…
Which one will you choose?
Let us know in the comments below.

How I learned to organize my scatterbrain - Duration: 13:05.How many of you have ever walked into a room and wondered,
"Why did I come here in the first place?"
Or maybe you left something behind, your pencil case, for example,
and you have to circle the entire house
before coming back to the place where you originally started
only to find it sitting right there?
Anyone had any similar experiences?
Great.
Fo me, it's things like this that define my life.
My friends know me for continuously losing my water bottle, among other things.
I am, in every sense of the word, a scatterbrain.
And I was feeling pretty foolish about it myself
until I read this article about this book called,
"Where Good Ideas Come From: The Natural History of Innovation."
And in it, the author Steven Johnson compares settlements of different types,
so like cities and towns,
noting that as cities get bigger, they generate ideas at a faster clip.
Why? Because of the increase in the number of ideas in a fixed area.
So in our context, a scatterbrain can be seen
as a metropolis with bits of disorganized information
floating around, constantly crashing into each other.
It's messy.
But it is also more likely for two unrelated ideas to collide
giving rise to new innovations,
like hip-hop – ballet fusion
or the use of math to formulate a harmonic melody.
So in essence, a scatterbrain then,
becomes a source of creativity and innovation
and therefore, it's just as Steven Johnson said:
"The more disorganized your brain is, the smarter you are."
Now, considering that I had the potential of being the queen of scatterbrains,
I was feeling pretty good about myself.
But another part of me started to wonder,
"Hold up. If you're such a genius then how come none of your ideas ever take shape?"
And that brings us to the greatest disaster faced by all scatterbrains:
flooding.
It happens internally and externally. Let me explain.
Now, I don't know about you,
but 90% of the best ideas I have ever had have come to me when I'm in the shower.
So, I might have an English Literature essay due the next day,
and I might be shampooing my hair when all of a sudden this line pops up in my head
"Despite his high status, Othello, the tragic hero,
eventually falls to his doom due to jealousy – his greatest hamartia."
And I'm like "Yes! This will make a top-notch literature sentence."
So I quickly finish showering,
get my clothes on,
seat myself at my table, pen and paper in hand,
read to write that golden essay.
And I reach into my head to find that line
only to find lyrics to a Michael Jackson song
or images from the last movie I watched.
In the end I'm just left there thinking,
"Hmm, I had this really nice way of saying Othello dies. What was it again?"
My mind is so flooded that I can't find that sentence
I came up with just two minutes ago!
The second type of flooding happens externally
by people putting things in your brain.
So, for example, I might be on my way to school and my mom would say,
"Hey, why don't you buy this chocolate from this particular shop
because apparently, it tastes really good."
And then I'd go to school and I'd get attacked
by an arsenal of math equations.
And then I might go to lunch
and my friends would give me this list of movies
to remember to watch over the weekend.
And the day would go on and on with things piling in my head
until finally, it looked something like this.
This, my friends, is what a scatterbrain looks like.
All those pieces of paper are bits of information that people put in your brain.
And sometimes they go in, sometimes they don't.
And in this mess, the chances of remembering to look at the information
that says "remember your bottle," well, that's pretty slim.
Yet, strangely enough, my memory becomes flawless
when it came to things like remembering dialogues from a movie,
or random facts,
for example, did you know that the word for pineapple
in a lot of the languages of the world
sound something like "ananas?"
So, for example, in Hindi, its "ananas,"
in French its "ananas,",
in Indonesian it's "nanas."
It's a completely useless fact,
like I'm probably never going to use it, maybe I might, I don't know,
but I remember it super clearly.
And that got me thinking, "Why?"
Why is it I can remember the translation for pineapple,
but I can't remember a sentence I came up with just two minutes ago?
Forget that, I can't even remember not to leave my water bottle behind!
So after a lot of frustration and contemplation,
I was able to condense it down into three main points:
sequence,
association,
and iteration,
S.A.I.
What does it mean?
Well, sequence is your ability to find a logical pattern
in the information you have to remember.
Association is when you link that information with something
weird, striking, memorable to make it stick in your brain,
and iteration is when you repeat it so many times
that it automatically gets stuck in your head.
That's why when I go, "Hello, can you hear me?"
I bet half of the people in this room are able to sing along
because they've heard it 1,000 times.
Or when I say the word "frozen,"
you immediately think of a blonde girl in a blue dress
singing, "Let it go, let it go."
Your brain is able to pick up that specific information
and display it at the right moment.
So that's for things we don't really need to remember.
How about the things that are really required?
Well, we apply the same three rules.
In fact, man has been using it throughout history.
Before the time of writing, there was the oral tradition
where the history of civilizations was passed down through songs and hymns.
Forget history, think about yourself!
Back in nursery, your teachers used nursery rhymes
to teach you things like alphabets, parts of the body, numbers.
All these rhymes had sequence,
could be associated with something interesting,
and if it was iterated enough times,
it will automatically get stuck in your head.
The first time I was formally introduced to memory techniques
was when I was in sixth grade,
and I was going through a phase where I had somehow gotten it into my head
that I could not continue living unless I learned Japanese.
So one day, I was in the kitchen with my mom who was cooking,
and I was trying to learn the numbers one to ten in Japanese.
Emphasis on the word trying.
I.e. I was going nowhere.
But I wasn't about to give up anytime soon,
so I was rambling on and on,
and my mom must have gotten fed up because at one point,
she gently interrupted me and she was like,
"Trishna, why don't you make a story out of it?"
And I was like, 'Mother, how the heck am I supposed to make a story out of this?"
And she was like, "Okay, think of it this way.
One in Japanese is ichi and two is ni.
Together, they sound something like an itchy knee."
And I was like, "Okay, I see what you did there."
And I went ahead and I created a story of my own.
And it goes something like this:
Once upon a time, there was a kid named Meg.
Now Meg, had a very "ichi ni."
And it was a very "san"ny day, so she was feeling really sleepy
and she began to "yon" a lot.
So to wake herself up, she decided to "go" out and play,
so she went outside and she started playing with some "rokus,"
but then she decided "nana,"
I've got to stop because it had begun raining and she had caught a cold
and she was sneezing like, "hachi!"
So, she went to find shelter in the nearest store, but when she got there,
she found a really long "kyuu,"
but the shop owner who was this "jew"
and he was really nice and he let her go in first.
The end.
It's a completely weird useless story but that's kind of what made it stick.
There was a sequence of events,
I associated each word with a homophone,
and if I repeat it enough times, it will automatically get stuck in my brain.
Perfect, right?
With a technique like this, I could remember anything!
Unfortunately, no.
I couldn't remember things when I didn't remember that I had something to remember,
my water bottle, for instance.
So while I was excelling in class,
where I had to remember things like lists and definitions,
outside, I was still a complete mess.
And then, when I entered junior high, the BBC Sherlock Holmes TV show came out,
and its protagonist, Sherlock Holmes, had the one thing I had always longed for,
an awesome memory.
He called it his "mind palace."
He could do this thing where within a matter of seconds,
he could come out with the exact date, place and time
a murder happened 20 years ago.
I was blown away.
So I did the first thing any girl of my generation would do; I Googled him.
And I found out that his memory technique was quite a commonly used one
called the Method of Loci.
It uses what's known as spatial memory,
which is your ability to remember geographical spaces in detail.
So, for example, you know every nook and cranny in your room,
or maybe something bigger,
you know all the roads in a certain area.
So when I found out I was ecstatic and I wanted to put it to immediate use.
And the most current problem I was having at the time
was my tendency to lose things I was carrying with me,
my water bottle, for instance.
So I developed a routine wherein before leaving a place,
I would take a walk around school in my head.
What do I mean?
Well, the first step to creating a mind palace
is picking a location you are really familiar with,
and for me, personally, I know all the rooms in my school,
so I made the school my mind palace.
And I associated each room with objects I tended to lose a lot.
So, for example, the calculator I would associate with the math room,
my USB with the computer room,
and my bottle with the lost and found, and on and on,
So before leaving a room, I would mentally take a walk around each of these rooms
and check to see if I had the associated object on me at the time.
So for example, I would first go to the math room associated with the calculator-
Do I have it? Yes, and then move on the next rooms
checking to see if I had each object
until finally I reached the lost and found associated with the bottle-
Do I have the bottle? Yes. Complete.
Obviously, this is a highly simplified version of the actual thing,
but it's one way of putting the technique to use.
And here, too, we can see S.A.I.
We can see the sequence of rooms,
and how each room is associated with an object,
and if I walk through these rooms enough times,
all of it will automatically get stuck in my head.
So that's the bottle problem solved.
And I also manage to retain my scatterbrain genius
of being able to find anything I need in the metropolitan mess of my mind
using these memory techniques.
So let's come back to the present.
Hello everyone.
My name's Trishna, I am 17-years old, and I am a complete scatterbrain,
but I manage my life pretty well using my new and refined memory techniques.
Well, it's not 100% foolproof, but at least I can say with confidence
I will never have to ask myself this question again.
Thank you.

JUSTICE FOR OFW JOANNA DEMAFELIS (BODY FOUND IN A FREEZER) - Duration: 9:26.Justice for OFW Joanna Demafelis (found in a freezer) Stick Around!
Hello my friends, this BobbieD, coming to you form Talamban, Philippines.
I'm having an awesome time in the Philippines today, hope you are as well, wherever you're
from.
Hey, today, I want to talk to you about Justice For OFW Joanna Demafelis (body found in a
Freezer).
Justice For OFW Joanna Demafelis (body found in a Freezer) Yah.
Now when we talk about the Philippines, you gotta understand this is a country where OFW's
Overseas Filipino Workers are abundant.
There are approximately 200 million Filipinos in the Philippines, in this country alone
and of that number, 10 percent are Overseas Filipino Workers.
Yeah!
And so OFW's are very important to this country's economy, and to this country's development
and future development as well.
This is a continuation of our series on crime.
And so today we're looking at the case of Joanna Demafelis.
A29, year old Filipina.
Joanna was the sixth of 9 children in the family and was raised in the Province.
Now Joanna was like most Filipinas, always wanted to help her mamma and papa and her
family.
So in 2013, Joanna's family was a victim of the huge typhoon called Yolanda.
It practically demolished their house.
And so Joanna wanted to do something to help the family recover from the typhoon damage.
She wanted to go and be an OFW to help her family renovate their home, help her family
re-purchase their mortgaged farm, and to help one of her siblings finish schooling.
So Joanna signed up with an agency and the next thing you know, She was on her way to
Kuwait.
And there she was employed by Nader Assaf and his wife Mona.
Now, Nader was a Lebanese national and his wife a Syrian national.
There Joanna worked for approximately a year and a half where she sporadically communicated
to her family and sent money home.
There was a time where the family had no communication with her for over a year.
And the family became very very concerned about this and reported Joanna as missing
to the OFW authorities.
Lo and behold, approximately a year later the manager of the apartment where Joanna
was employed, came to the apartment opened the door and found that the couple had left
the apartment empty.
And they searched the apartment and lo and behold, they found the body of Joanna, stuffed
in a freezer.
What a sad situation.
So, The manager reported it to the police and the authorities put out an international
manhunt for Nader and his wife Mona.
They were found, in Syria.
Damascus, Syria.
Nader was transferred to Lebanon and his wife now is in custody in Syria.
As a result of this heinous crime, President Duterte placed a ban on deployment for OFW's
to Kuwait.
Now, this ban is still in effect.
It doesn't affect those that are already there.
There's approximately 250 thousand Filipinos working as OFW's.
This ban affects future deployment to Kuwait.
This crime was so heinous, that it caused an international outcry from Human Rights
activists.
How could this happen to an OFW that was just trying to do her job?
It, it's imperative that the countries that OFW's work in protect the OFW's.
Arab nations handle OFW's under the system called KAFALA.
This is a system that's administered through most Arab nations.
It allows the employer to withhold visas, passport, cellphones, any computer equipment,
anything that would allow the OFW to communicate with their relatives and friends back home,
the employer has a right to withhold those items.
Not only that, if the OFW wants to change jobs, they have to get permission from the
employer.
It is thought that Joanna's communication may have been limited, due, due to her being
under the KAFALA system.
So, this is a terrible system.
It lends itself to abuse.
Because when you think about it, the employer of the OFW has pretty much total control of
the OFW.
When they have the ability to withhold their visa, when they have the ability to withold
their cellphone, and other communication devices, where they can't communicate to their loved
ones, that's control.
So this type of system contribute to the abusive environment of OFW's.
So, what am I saying?
Here we have a young lady, 29 years old, beautiful young lady, who was simly trying to help her
family and she volunterred to be an OFW.
She did'nt volunteer to be abused, She did'nt volunteer to be hurt, She did'nt volunteer
to be damaged, She did'nt volunteer to be brutalized and, and and mistreated.
Yet that's what happened and this is some things that, thank goodness, President Duterte
is working on to protect the rights of OFW's.
So what am I saying?
The bottom line is.
And I repeat in the words of Joejet Demafelis, which is Joanna's brother: Joanna did not
go to Kuwait to be killed.
She went there to help the family.
And it's good that th governmment eventually helped the family get their house repaired,
they helped the family repurchase thir mortgaged farm, and they helped the family send their
sibling to school.
It's good that all that happened, but it's terrible that it had to happen at the expense
of Joanna's life.
That's it for now my friends.
This is BobbieD saying take care, God Bless, and Peace!

Update on the New Bipartisan Joint Committee Tasked to Solve the Pension Crisis - Duration: 1:46.Today we held the second hearing of the very critical and important pensions committee
that I've been appointed to.
Congress, in the continuing resolution, authorized a 16-member special pensions committee that
will study the challenges with multiemployer pension systems.
And had a great, pretty wonky, but pretty essential hearing talking about some of the
economic challenges moving forward.
We can talk numbers all we want, the important part is we need to talk lives.
We need to talk about what happens in a family when their pension is cut in half, what happens
in a family when the pension is only 30% of what they anticipated, and we need to talk
about where we as the United States people need to support our pensioneers and we need
to support the commitments that were made to these pensioneers.
We have a guaranteed system for a reason, let's make it work.
And so I'm proud to be on the committee, I will continue to do everything that I can
to promote the interest of the men and women who have worked so hard their entire life
and have depended on this pension system to work for them.
But we need your help.
We need you to reach out to the committee, and that's why we're excited that the committee
has put together a special email address to take your comments.
Get them in, tell the story, let people know how devastating this would be to your community,
how devastating it would be to your family.
So, as you can see on the bottom of the screen is the email address; send us your comments.
If you wouldn't mind sending them along to us as well at my Senate office that would
be great, so we know the kind of North Dakota comments that are coming in.

Dog Finds Newborn Baby Girl In Storm Drain - Duration: 3:54.In a despicable act, someone left this young baby girl behind to die in Port Elizabeth,
South Africa. The baby was completely naked and left behind more than six feet underground.
To make things even worse she was sitting nearby a dangerous a red ant colony.
Luckily, the baby was saved thanks to the efforts of a sweet pup.
The 63-year-old Charmaine Keevy was just doing her usual morning walk along with her sausage
dog Georgie. Suddenly, Georgie started barking continuously at a nearby drain duct.
The woman didnt think much of it at first but decided to check it out after she heard
a noise coming from there as well. Charmaine bowed to take a closer look and couldnt
believe her eyes when she realized it was a baby that was in desperate need of help.
When Georgie first started barking at the noises I thought it was a cat but then I realized
it was a baby and people must have thought I was mad because I was trying to stop all
these passing cars.
Immediately, Charmaine started waving at passing cars for help. Cornie Viljoen pulled over,
and he confirmed that the baby was making noises. Because the drain structure was six
feet under normal ground level, the two werent able to rescue her immediately.
In addition, there was a very heavy concrete slab right over the drain, so they couldnt
reach her.
Luckily, the driver had a steel bar laying around in the trunk of his car. After a couple
of minutes, the two were able to remove the concrete slab and try and reach her.
I dont know what would have happened if this guy had not stopped to help me. He
got a steel bar from the boot of his car and we lifted the cover off the drain and then
he dropped down inside.
When he handed me this tiny crying baby I immediately wrapped it in my jersey and
kept her warm. The ambulance came and assisted me and then they took it off to the hospital
for treatment.
Cornie then dropped directly into the drain and immediately felt small bites in his leg.
They didnt realize it at first, but the drain was the home of a red ant colony. The
man was stung multiple times when he grabbed the baby girl. Luckily, the baby was laying
just a little bit higher than the colony, or things couldve gotten much worse.
When I got into the hole it was higher than my head and it was so narrow that I had
to go down on my knees and I couldnt bend over so had to feel down for the baby below,
Cornie said to the Daily Mail. The baby was lucky the red ants were higher up in the
drain and not down at the bottom where she was.
I didnt know if the baby was injured so I tried to pick her up very carefully and
very slowly and she was so small. I just wanted to hold her for a while but I knew that she
needed urgent medical help.
I just do not know why anyone could do this to a new born baby but I was just
so glad that we were able to help her and save her life. I told Charmaine to call the
emergency services right away the man said.
The emergency services quickly arrived and the baby, named Grace April, needed to be
taken to the hospital to receive emergency treatment. Further diagnosis revealed that
the baby was dealing with hypothermia, severe respiratory issues and even had her umbilical
cord still attached.
It was clear: this baby was dumped in a despicable act.
A local spokesperson for the police told the press that someone likely deliberately opened
up the slab covering the drain and put the baby there. Unfortunately, no one has been
apprehended as of this writing.
However, it looks like baby Grace is on track to make a full recovery.
The baby is OK at the moment but picked up a bit of a viral infection because of exposure
to the cold but shes a fighter and getting stronger.
She is not out of the woods yet but she is breathing on her own now and the nurses
say she will make it. Cornie assured.
Charmaine now hopes that whoever did is takes responsibility for their actions and wants
this little baby girl to have a loving home.
I hope if the mother does not come forward that Grace April finds a loving family and
makes her mark on this world.
