Has State of Decay 2 Been Downgraded? // MrStainless001 - Duration: 6:07.Hey everyone Sam here also known as MrStainless and apparently people are already wondering
if State of Decay 2 has been downgraded after seeing the gameplay that IGN has released
over the past month due to their IGN First programme, so today I want to take some time
and just chat about this a little bit, give my thoughts, but before I do if you want to
join the community here on the channel do feel free to join my Discord, there's a
link to it down in the video description.
Now for me, I first heard about this downgrade conversation due to a post over on the State
of Decay subreddit, it came from a Redditor called ZurvivorLDG who simply shared this
image and said 'people are saying downgrade…I don't think so.'
As you can see the top image is showcasing a still from the E3 2017 gameplay trailer
(it's been wrongly labelled 2016) the one below is from the IGN First coverage where
they played some 4 player co-op.
Now more or less universally over on Reddit myself and the other fans of the game have
all agreed that this isn't really anything to worry about for a number of reasons.
Firstly, these are two completely different locations in-game, the only way to truly see
a comparison is to have both locations side by side which by all means we can do once
the game comes out to see the differences.
Another thing that I wanted to point out is that in the IGN first video theres a big difference
in visual quality between each of the players because they've all got their own individual
settings.
They even mention at the start of the video that they've all got different gamma settings
which is why the image you see in the comparison is pretty washed out and flat colour-wise.
I noticed it looked that way primarily on the IGN staff's gameplay perspectives whereas
on the footage from the Undead Labs players it had a lot more contrast in them, they looked
a lot better, the colours were a lot richer, it just looked nicer.
So basically, taking reference from imagery where the colour and settings are purposely
different again doesn't really make sense to me, but we've still got one controversial
point to cover.
This is kind of a normal thing to do.
I know a lot of you are going to be annoyed at me saying that but having a visual and
graphical difference between the trailer you show at E3 and the final product is completely
normal and actually makes sense.
For those of you who are old enough, way back when when games were being promoted and marketed
to us, we only saw cinematic trailers or we would've seen live action trailers, we very
rarely saw any footage of the game until we picked it up or if we saw screenshots in a
gaming magazine.
Rest assured we all knew, the game would look nothing like it did in the cinematic trailer
but we knew they had done that because, at the end of the day, they're trying to sell
a product.
Now I'm not saying that's what Undead Labs have done but when you're showcasing
a game at a massive gaming event like E3 you want to make sure that the game looks as good
as you can make it because you want to draw people in right from the get-go.
Very often what you're seeing, whether it be gameplay trailers or even a hands-on experience
has been specifically crafted for that even, it'll look amazing because it's only a
very small portion, it doesn't need all the features or map size of the final game
and as such they can put more power into making that small section look good.
What usually happens as a developer nears launch is that they need to start making their
game work on all the platforms that they're going to release on, they need it to work
on low end PC's to high-end PC's and consoles and whatever else their releasing on and as
such they need to optimise.
Maybe they can't have every blade of grass in the game be it's own unique object that
is affected by physics because of how much CPU that would take and they make cuts accordingly.
They're not making the game worse per se, their making the game in such a way that more
people can have access to it.
So that everyone doesn't HAVE to have a high-end PC in order to play it, they're
making it more accessible, and as long as they don't take the piss with it, I don't
see a problem with it.
If you're only playing a game because of the graphics I think we may be missing the
point.
Equally the number of games that have done exactly what I've just described may shock
you, games like The Witcher 2, Dark Souls, Rainbow Six Siege the list goes on.
Very simply, I'm not saying that State of Decay 2 has been downgraded, but if it has
been slightly, I don't really care.
I'm really looking forward to this game, I equally would love for as many people as
possible to experience this game, and if that means there isn't as much grass, or I can't
make out EVERY brick on the exterior of a house….I'm ok with that.
In the meantime though let me know what you think down in the comments, do you care about
things like this?
Or have you been let down by a game that had a pretty severe downgrade, let me know in
the comments.
In the meantime if you want to be kept up to date with all of your State of Decay 2
news, hit the subscribe button down below and ring the bell to be kept notified.
Until next time though folks have a great week and I'll speak to you all soon.

INTERVENÇÃO - Duration: 2:11.-What is this? -A military intervention.
-What? -President's orders.
-Is this Rio's right-wing party? -Yeah.
-It's here then. -Are you arresting us?
We're not here for that.
We just need to keep you in here.
Meirelles, stay on that side, Marcolino, on this side.
I'll block the door.
If they make any sudden movements, you know what to do.
The military intervention is in the slums.
Where do you think we were? We just came from the slums.
We went to all of them.
We've been to Vidigal, Mare, Cidade de Deus, Rocinha...
This is our last stop.
We're intervening the intervention.
You can't do that here!
The feds told us to go to conflict areas.
Where are there more conflicts than in here?
You have Cunha, Cabral, Pezao, Eduardo Paes, Picciani...
This is a conflict area!
-You won't find anything here. -Sir, I found a pen.
Son of a bitch! Open that shit!
What's the matter?
Any document you guys sign in here
have repercussions to the entire population.
Take their phones and computers too.
I'm calling your supervisor now.
See if there's anyone under the table.
These people love to hide.
Sir!
They have Wi-Fi in here!
For the love of God, cut that cable!
Giving them internet access is worst
than handing a loaded gun to a monkey.
Oh god, this congressman's phone is ringing.
It's Gilmar Mendes.
Everybody on the floor now!
Meirelles, I'll put you in quarantine!
I'll put this one out.
Regarding Rio's congressmen,
you need to know where they're from
to understand where the problem starts.
-This one is from Realengo. -Oh, Realengo...
Realengo. You think he's ok. You don't find anything in here.
Then you look here and what do you see?
-Diesel underwear. -Diesel.
You, go that way.
This one here... Hey! Please.
Guess where he's from.
-Nova Iguacu. -Nova Iguacu.
Nothing here, no Diesel underwear.
-Then you check the back... -Yeah?
You assume it's baby powder since he's old.
-But what is it really? -Cocaine!
There you go. Nova Iguacu!
This one here is from Gavea.
Upper Gavea.
He's allowed to have sex toys.
Right, but if you unscrew the tip here...

Letter Cookie Cake Tutorial and a Lavender Shortbread Recipe - Duration: 5:38.Hi everybody it's Lorelie at Wedding Cakes For You. Welcome to my channel and
welcome to my tutorials.Today I'm going to show you how I made this little cake,
you know these trendy little cakes that you see everywhere. I'm going to share
with you my Lavender shortbread recipe. So stay tuned. To make a letter template
do a search for letters, download the one you like and then open it in word, or a
similar program. Resize it, print it and cut your letter for the shortbread.
You're going to need 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt,
one cup unsalted butter softened, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1/4 cup of sifted
powdered sugar, and one teaspoon of lavender. Place the softened butter into
your mixing bowl along with 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Using a paddle
attachment mix it ar medium to high speed for about one minute. Scrape down the
bowl to make sure to incorporate all of the sugar. Now you can add the extract.
Add the salt, add your flour, and then add your powdered sugar. Stir to combine.
Scrape down the bowl and then gather up the dough into two pieces. Wtap and
refrigerate for about one to two hours. Roll your dough out onto a floured
surface. As it warms up it will roll out a little easier. Roll to a quarter inch
thickness and place your number or letter onto the rolled out dough and cut
around it with a sharp knife.
Repeat for the second layer. Carefully move your letter onto an ungreased
cookie sheet. Bake in a 300-degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes. Here is what they
should look like. I made some little cutout cookies to add as decoration.
You can use a simple whipped cream for the filling and topping. One cup of heavy
or whipping cream and 1/4 cup of confectionery sugar, and also one
teaspoon of vanilla. Whip that until firm.
Fill a pastry bag fitted with a star tip and pipe stars to cover the cake or
cookie.
Place the second cookie on top and repeat the piping. You can make the same
thing with a cake, and I'll put the link to that because I do have a video on
making number cakes with cake batter instead of cookie batter. Choose your
decorations ahead of time. I bought a bouquet and snipped off the smallest
buds and flowers, some candy covered chocolate eggs, small cookies and dragees
Have fun decorating your letter cookie or cake.
Thanks so much for being here. I just really appreciate your comments, your
likes, your shares, and I truly, really and truly love making these videos for you.
So just let me know if you there's something that you really want to see
let me know in the comments below. And also underneath each video are links.
And the links take you to various places and I just want to let you know you can
get a free download. It's my ebook. My Five, Top Five Buttercream
Recipes, and there was even a bonus one in there, so really you're gonna get six
buttercream recipes in my free ebook. So look at the links below, go check it out,
and then also remember that I have a book. And then if you buy the book you
will become a member of Lorelie's Cake Crew. Here's my book it's Wedding Cakes
with Lorelie Srep-by-Step and you can get it on Amazon. So thank you so much
for being here and I'll see you next week for your weekly, or my weekly video,
and maybe even a bonus video. Alright bye :-)

The Real Reason You Don't Hear From LeAnn Rimes Anymore - Duration: 4:58.In 1997, at age 14, LeAnn Rimes became the youngest person ever to win a Grammy.
Her career skyrocketed and she quickly rose to be one of the most popular country singers
of all time.
Considering her early fame, one would think Rimes' star power would linger for years,
but that wasn't the case.
Here's what happened to Rimes' once-bustling career and high-profile lifestyle.
Real Housewife drama
Rimes and actor Eddie Cibrian met as co-stars on the 2009 TV movie Northern Lights.
"We've been shooting now for about a week, and she's fantastic."
"We've become really good friends.
He's a very sweet guy.
And um, he's my pool partner actually, off of set.
We've been playing a lot of pool."
But a real-life romance reportedly bloomed while they were both married to other people.
Cibrian's other half, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville, is
currently still struggling with the situation.
For Halloween, in 2017, Glanville dressed up as Rimes for a "Scandalous Celeb Couples"
party theme.
As for Rimes, she's been keeping a low profile through it all.
And considering Glanville's volatile behavior, as they say, silence is golden.
Dirty laundry
Rimes' 2009 divorce from her husband of seven years, backup dancer-turned-chef Dean Sheremet,
was explosive.
"Keeping a low profile is almost impossible when you have paparazzi sitting right outside
of your gate."
Sheremet was supposedly blindsided by Rimes' affair with Cibrian and discovered that something
was amiss in his marriage while Northern Lights was filming.
He told Nat's Next Adventure,
"There was this bar that everyone hung out at [...] and I remember coming down the stairs
and seeing [Rimes and Cibrian] shooting pool together.
I could just tell by the body language that everything had changed."
That account was not only embarrassing for Rimes, it also earned her negative attention
from both the press and her fans.
"No one can quite understand why you hurt so badly.
But, I'm not gonna cry."
Considering Rimes' affair took a toll on every aspect of her life, it's no shock that she
retreated from the spotlight.
Netflix and chilling
Since Rimes and Cibrian got hitched in April 2011, Rimes has shifted focus from her music
career, to being a wife and step-mom.
"I think I'm a really good wife, I'm a really good friend, I sing… that's like the least
of things that I think people that know me think about me."
She told People,
"We respect each other; respect is a big deal, and once you lose that, you've kind of lost
everything.
He's a wonderful father and a really good man.
He's kind to me, and I reciprocate."
Rimes reportedly keeps the spark alive by planning romantic vacations to gorgeous locations
across the globe.
In January 2018, the couple jetted to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Reality show bomb
When Rimes' VH1 reality show with Cibrian, LeAnn & Eddie, was cancelled in June 2015
after just one season, the news hit her hard.
What made things even more difficult was that the show was intended to rehab the couple's
post-affair image.
Rimes told Hollywood Life,
"We had this idea of poking fun at almost everything.
[...] The situation is not laughable, but at the same time, everything that has been
written about the situation is hysterical."
"It's more of a comedy than anything."
"You have to be able to laugh at yourself and take the p--- out of yourself."
But audiences weren't feeling it.
According to Deadline the show premiered to a mere 374,000 viewers.
Rimes has not appeared in a major television project since.
Kids first
There's no denying that Rimes adores her stepsons, Jake and Mason.
And that may be why she's doing less "Tinseltown," and more "stay-at-home-mom."
She told Refinery29,
"It's been really rewarding to see them grow up, and know that I have a part in that.
[...] They bring so much joy to my life, and it's a new experience every day."
In April 2017, Rimes wrote a touching wedding anniversary tribute to Cibrian in which she
described herself as Jake and Mason's "co-soul protector."
Letting go of her ego
In February 2017, Rimes gave an emotional interview about what she has "let go" of in
life, to achieve a sense of well-being.
She told Billboard,
"Well, my ego.
That is something I've gratefully let go of.
I started in the industry so young.
I look back and I don't even know how I am alive at this moment."
Long gone are Rimes' days of selling out arenas and touring around the world.
And she says her new perspective has helped her artistically, telling the mag,
"Once it wasn't about my ego anymore, I became human.
To be able to create from that place is incredible."
She's blogging it out
Launching a blog can be a big undertaking, and that's a lesson Rimes learned when she
launched her website, Soul Of EverLe, in May 2017.
According to a statement, the site aims to, quote, "awaken and heal the spirit through
connection, community, joy and Love."
Rimes told Refinery29,
"I didn't realize how much work a blog is.
But it's so fun to be creative in a totally different way."
A different kind of music
In 2017, Rimes released her new studio album, Remnants, in the U.S.
She told Rolling Stone Country,
"What I hope people get out of it, is some sense of healing.
I'm not attacking anything; it's from a settled point of view.
And, yes, it is vulnerable.
I'm scared to death."
No doubt the project touched some listeners, but by the numbers, it hasn't measured up
to her past releases.
Perhaps she's swept up the remnants of her music career and packed them away for now.

When Dodge Bought Ford | WheelHouse - Duration: 10:55.Ferrari vs. Lamborghini, Mitsubishi vs Subaru, BMW vs. Mercedes… the list goes on.
"Wait, wait.
How 'bout we settle this on the blacktop huh?"
There's about as many automotive rivalries as there are cars… and they all had to start
somewhere.
In fact, the first rivalry in American automotive history- a rivalry that's still alive today-
dates back to detroit as early as 1900.
Today on Wheelhouse we're talking about the strange origins of Dodge vs Ford.
John and Horace Dodge were born in Niles, Michigan about 200 miles west of Detroit,
a city they would help turn into an automotive Mecca.
Much like my own dad, their father was teaching them to be machinists.
Horace invented a dirt proof ball bearing and shared the patent credit with his brother.
The red-headed Dodge bros were super tight, and a had a twin-like bond despite the 4 year
age difference.
They started their own shop building bikes and automotive components, until they got
so much business building car parts that they ditched the bikes and just focused completely
on cars.
A guy named Ransom Olds employed the Dodge brothers to build engines and transmissions
for his new automobile company: Oldsmobile.
Ransom needed some good machinists to get that done, and the Dodge brothers were really,
really good machinists.
The partnership between Olds and the Dodge brothers made them pretty wealthy, but the
Dodge brothers were just getting started.
They wanted to grow their newfound money by investing in more companies.
Meanwhile, a 33 year old Henry Ford was also pursuing his passion of engineering and fabrication.
Like the Dodge brothers, Ford was born in Michigan and worked as a machinist.
And like the Dodge brothers, Ford quit his day job at the Edison Illuminating Company.
In 1896 Ford completed work of his first vehicle, the Quadricycle.
Ford opened his first business, the Detroit Automobile Company in 1899, it was the first
automaker with headquarters in Detroit.
Unfortunately, it only lasted two years.
Today, we think of Henry Ford as a marketing genius who brought cars to the masses...
But the Ford of 1899?
Not so much.
Back then Henry was an engineer, a brilliant one, the kind of engineer who forgot to tell
people to buy his cars.
The Detroit Automobile Company went belly up in a matter of months.
But Henry didn't give up.
Two years later in 1901, He built a racecar to prove his worth as a car designer. The two
cylinder racer he built set a speed record at a horse track, a feat for which Henry was
awarded $1000 cash, fame and for some reason- a punch bowl.
With his renewed street cred, Henry Ford founded the Henry Ford Company, with big investors
backing him up.
The investors wanted Henry to design a lightweight passenger car they could sell for cheap.
But Henry had caught the speed bug and got to work on a four cylinder race car to break
his old record.
The investors were like "no, that won't make us any money you weirdo," so Henry
Ford left the Henry Ford Company in 1902.
With Henry gone, the investors restructured and renamed the company to honor the founder
of Detroit: Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac.
Cadillac.
So by 1903, Ford starts another company.
Despite the fact that he builds great race cars, nobody wants to give him any money,
because they think he might just blow it on race cars again.
He's going around town, looking for cash, but Detroit back then was a small place…
people talked, and the word was that if you invest in Henry Ford, you're going to lose
money.
But there were two young rich guys who didn't care what people said… and those guys were
the Dodge brothers.
They've got that Oldsmobile money burning a hole in their pocket and they want to expand...
The Dodge boys knew that Ford had his back against the wall- he was in debt, he lost
all his money leaving what was now called Cadillac, and couldn't get anybody else
to give him money for his new car company.
So the Dodge Brothers worked out a deal to give Ford $10,000 worth of cash and materials
for his new Ford Motor Company.
And in return, the Dodge brothers demanded a ten percent share of the company, AND the
rights to all of Ford's assets in case of another bankruptcy.
Effectively, the Dodge Brothers owned Ford, both the company and the man.
Work began on Henry's new cars.
Dodge supplied the chassis complete with engine and transmission, and the rest of the car
would be finished at Ford's plant.
As the Ford Motor Company grew, Henry slowly became increasingly more eccentric.
He began to think of his own body as an automobile.
He Reasoned that if his cars were designed to run off the best fuel, the same should
true for himself.
He adopted a nearly vegetarian diet, eating veggies from his garden and "roadside greens"-
roadside greens are weeds.
People thought this was kind of weird, I mean can you imagine, seeing your boss pull weeds
out from behind your building, and throw them into his salad?
I've seen Pumphrey do some weird stuff but nothing like that.
In fact…
I've never seen pumphrey eat ANY vegetable.
Except pickles of course, but are pickles vegetables?
Anyway, the Dodge brothers didn't seem to mind Ford's weird eating habits because
he was making them buttloads of money.
Plus, they were too focused on climbing Detroit's exclusive social ladder to care.
But polite detroit society didn't want them.
John and Horace were known for hanging out with their employees after hours, hitting
the bars and getting crunk next to the same people who built their engines.
This made them unsuitable for Detroit high society.
"Oh those Dodge brothers, do display most contemptible of behavior."
"Oh I agree, I agree wholeheartedly.Shall we hit the brothel down the street then?"
"Absolutely."
"Splendid."
So what do you do if you want to be high society, but they won't even let you go to the symphony?
You buy the symphony.
John and Horace Dodge assumed the financial liability of the Detroit symphony, effectively
buying their way into the Detroit elite.
Oh, you won't let us into your club?
How 'bout we just buy your club?
How you like them apples?
How 'bout you lick my apples dude!
America!
That's how we do it.
Capitalism.
Both Ford and the Dodge brothers were aspiring industrial titans, with their own strange
eccentricities: Ford with his dandelion eating ways, and the Dodge's chips on their shoulders.
Naturally, a partnership between the two would not last.
For years, the Dodge brothers had been giving Ford suggestions on how to improve the Model
T; but Henry's pride and stubborn nature got in the way of listening.
He just thought they were trying to screw him for more money.
It started to become clear that Ford was a little paranoid.
They also soon realized that Ford was prejudiced… against redheads.
Yeah… the Ginger-haired Dodge Brothers were 10% partners with a man who thought they were
evil because of their hair color.
Tired of being ignored by Henry, Dodge completed construction on a massive new facility in
1910.
Their plant featured a floor to floor assembly line, medical wing, and a machine shop called
"the Playpen" for workers to invent stuff in their spare time.
The Dodge Brothers even served beer on the assembly floor when it was hot.
Honestly, doesn't sound like a bad place to work.
By contrast, Ford had a "Sociology Department" within his company that was almost like a
secret police.
They'd show up to your house to make sure it was clean, they'd ask you about your
marriage, and made sure you weren't drinking.
Safe to say there wasn't any beer being served at the Ford Motor Company.
Ford was suspicious.
Why were those Dodge brothers building a factory to rival his own?
"Henry they're not even Irish they just have red hair."
"I don't care, I could smell them for miles."
Initially, the plant was cranking out Model T components, as the Dodge Brothers had been
doing all along.
But Henry suspected the Dodge Bros were planning to do something against him, so he preempted
their preemptive strike with a new factory for himself.
The River Rouge plant allowed Ford to rely solely on his own employees, and would be
cheaper than outsourcing his work to Dodge.
Ford might have been a weirdo, but his suspicions were correct.
The Dodge Brothers were finished with being ignored and decided they were gonna make their
own damn automobile.
In 1913 John Dodge resigned from his position of Vice President at Ford, and announced the
Dodge Brothers would stop building cars and parts for the Ford Motor Company so they could
make their own.
The Dodge Model 30 made more power than the Model T, it had an electric starter, and a
steel body.
By almost every measure it was a better car than the Model T, but about twice as expensive.
True to form, when asked about the price difference, John Dodge proclaimed, "Just think of all
those Ford owners who will someday want an automobile".
That's talking shit, 1900s style
But remember, the Dodge brothers still owned 10% of the Ford Motor Company… while they're
building, and making money selling Dodges.
They were using the dividends from Ford to run Dodge.
Henry Ford was directly paying for the operations of a competing company.
And he really hated that.
What's a Ford to do?
He just stopped paying them, even though the Dodge bros were rightfully entitled to their
dividends.
Ford was like, "I don't care.
I'm not Paying."
So John and Horace sued for their missing money, and Ford lost.
He ended up paying them 19 million in back dividends, AND had to resume paying them quarterly.
"Well that sucks."
Ford needed the Dodge Brothers to disappear… from his company.
To coax them into selling their stake in Ford, Henry leaked a story to the Los Angeles Examiner
that he was going to leave Ford and start a new company, that would sell an even cheaper
car.
If this was true, Ford undercutting himself would tank the Ford Motor Company value.
But nobody believed it, because it was stupid, so the company DIDN'T lose value.
THEN the Dodge brothers got a mysterious phone call from an anonymous party, offering to
take the stock off their hands for a good price.
"Hey I don't know you, but I'd be willing to take that stock off your hands for a nice
price because I know, and you know, that it's going down.
It's going way down.
That's what the newspapers say.
Uh my name?
It's uhh, Fenry..uh Kenry Dord uh Henry gah"
Again, they still didn't believe it, and weren't going to sell for anything less
than what they thought their 10% stake was worth.
It wasn't long however, before the Dodge boys got tired of getting weird phone calls
late at night from "Schmenry Schmord," or Fenry Hord, so they just auctioned off
the stock themselves for what it was worth, making 25 million dollars in the process.
And Ford was finally free from Dodge.
The Dodge Brothers had turned an initial investment worth about 250 thousand dollars today, into
the equivalent of 760 million dollars.
Not bad for a couple of boys from Niles.
If you're from Niles, that's cool.
Without the Dodge Brothers, Henry Ford might never have built the Model T. But without
the Model T, the Dodge brothers might not have built the first Dodge.
And the craziest part of all is that the rivalry that started between Ford- a conservative
teetotaller and Dodge- the Maverick outsiders is still raging over a century later.

Trevor Doesn't Do Diapers - Between the Scenes | The Daily Show - Duration: 1:47.- Diapers, I hate changing diapers.
(audience laughter)
I don't have kids, but I just hate changing diapers.
I have two younger brothers, so I changed their
diapers when I was growing up,
and then at some point with my youngest brother,
he's 20 years younger than me,
I was just like, you just, you're gonna keep shitting so,
just don't wear pants.
(audience laughter)
And I was like its easier to pooper scoop this person
than it is, like...
So my little brother would just come - I'd teach him -
the thing was he'd just come running up to me
and then be like "Trevor, poo-poo".
And then I would be like "alright",
and then we'd just run outside,
and then I'd make him shit in the garden.
(audience laughter)
I would like fold him; I would hold his legs and his body,
and then like, I would hold him like this,
and then he's like, like a little turtle in my hands,
and then I would hold him, and then he would shit,
and then he'd be like "doo-doos, doo-doos",
and then I'd be like "finish",
and then he's like "doo-doos",
then I'm like alright cool and I shake him a little bit,
(audience laughter)
and then I'll take him,
yeah, and then I'll take him and he'll stand
and then I would spray him down with a hose pipe.
And he loved it, he wasn't, he was like
"this is the greatest experience ever".
And then I would be like,
"just don't tell mom what we're doing",
and then he'd always tell mom.
He'd always be like: "ah mommy Trevor sprayed me
with the hose pipe".
Then I'm like "Jesus kid you're killing me here".
He would love it, it was like a fun...
And then I remember, like one of the funniest things was
like, like a year or something later
we're sitting together watching TV,
and we're watching footage of police
spraying people with a, like a,
like protesters with water hoses,
and then he looks at me, he's like:
"Trevor did they doo-doos?"
(laughing) And I'm like, I'm like no, no.

Quantum Supremacy Explained - Duration: 8:30.Quantum supremacy's that moment when a quantum computer beats the best supercomputers at
solving some kind of problem, and it's a very exciting time right now in quantum computing
because, as of recording this video we're on the brink of having quantum supremacy,
maybe it's already happened.
So I'm going to explain what quantum supremacy is and why it is so exciting.
So to explain quantum supremacy it's worth me explaining how quantum computers work.
Us physicists, we call normal computers 'classical' computers, and classical computers work with
binary.
There's loads of bits that can either be in a state of zero or one.
In a quantum computer you have quantum bits, qubits, which can be in the state zero, or
one, or they can be in a special intermediate state and that's called a superposition.
It's a special phenomenon in quantum physics that quantum computers take advantage of.
Now when you measure a qubit the result you get is based on a probability, so if you set
this superposition state to be in the middle, you've got a 50% chance of getting a zero
and a 50% chance of getting a one.
But you can tune that state so you can make it so that you are more likely to get a zero
than a one, or the other way around.
So that's the first phenomenon of quantum physics that quantum computers take advantage
of.
The second one is called entanglement, and this is where you bring together several qubits
and you join them together, and now that whole thing has to be treated as one object.
So if you take two qubits and you join them together, now this object can be in the mixed
state of four states, so zero zero, zero one, one zero and one one.
Each time you add a new qubit, you double the number of states that this thing can be
in, and that goes up exponentially.
So if you want to search through a whole load of different states, a classical computer
has to search through them one by one.
But in a quantum computer you've got these special quantum algorithms where you can enhance
the probability of the state that you want, and diminish the probability of it giving
you back the state that you don't want.
So those two phenomena: entanglement and superposition are what give quantum computers their power.
So, what kind of quantum computers exist in the world today?
There are a whole bunch of different companies trying to make a quantum computer: Google,
Intel, IBM, Microsoft, D-Wave, amongst others.
And to complicate matters, there's not just one kind of quantum computer there's actually
a whole load of different approaches.
I've broken them all down here.
An important thing to point out here are Universal quantum computers.
Universal quantum computing can theoretically simulate any quantum system and so it's
the fundamental computing machinery of the Universe.
There's other approaches that aren't Universal like quantum annealing and ion trap systems.
What they're focused on are solving certain nice problems better than classical computers
by taking advantage of quantum physics and they're a valid approach if those kinds
of problems are valuable.
They can be used as a good stepping stone towards a Universal quantum computer, because
Universal quantum computers are very difficult to build, and it's good to learn stuff along
the way.
I've also included the number of qubits in these quantum computers as of today.
Now qubit number is just one measure of how good a quantum computer is.
Just as important is how low the noise is in the qubits, so how high quality the qubits
are, and also how well the qubits are connected together.
So let me describe a bit more about how you'd do the experiment to prove quantum supremacy.
Actually measuring when it has happened is quite a difficult thing to do.
So you take your best quantum computer and you take your best super computer and you
need to give them a problem to solve and then compare the results.
And to begin with the quantum computers can't do anything better than a supercomputer except
for one thing, and that's be a quantum computer.
Which might sound absurd, but the logic is this.
You can simulate a quantum computer on a classical computer, but it gets more and more difficult
to do so the more qubits you have.
Now IBM has got the current record for simulating a quantum computer with 56 qubits, so people
are seeing this as the target, that if you build a quantum computer with more than 56
qubits, you can't simulate that with a classical computer, and so the quantum computer can
do some thing better than what a classical computer can do.
So the problem that they are looking at showing that the quantum computer can beat a classical
at is a certain problem called a sampling problem.
Now if you remember back when I was talking about a qubit being in a superposition state
between zero and one that gives you the probability of which one you'll get back.
Imagine if you've got fifty qubits and they are all entangled together, they are simultaneously
in about quadrillion states, that's a million billion states at the same time.
But when you measure that computer it just gives you back one state which will just be
a bit string of zero, zero, one, zero, one, one, one, corresponding to each qubit.
Now if you keep measuring that computer over and over again, you'll get different bit
strings back, so different states back, but over time you'll build up a distribution
of those states, the more likely ones and the less likely ones, and that's a probability
distribution.
And each time you measure the quantum computer that's like taking one sample from that
probability distribution.
Now quantum computers do that completely naturally, whereas simulating that whole thing on a classical
computer is incredibly difficult.
So that's the problem that they are looking at proving that a quantum computer can do
it better than a classical computer.
So what's that problem good for?
Absolutely nothing.
To begin with.
I mean there's some crossover between this kind of sampling problem and a sampling problem
you get in machine learning.
But the shapes of those problems in quantum computing and machine learning are very ver
different, but they come from the same sort of underlying physics which is called statistical
mechanics so there is a tentative overlap there which people like Google are very very
interested in.
But I don't undersell this achievement because, if you think about it, classical computers
have been around for seventy years and they've had literally trillions of dollars worth of
money pumped into research and development to reach them to the incredibly sophisticated
machine they are now.
Quantum computers have been around for twenty years-ish, and have had say a hundred million,
maybe a billion dollars worth of investment, for that technology, this new novel technology
to come along and beat the classical computers at even one narrow thing is a, is a huge achievement
and that's only going to progress in the future and I'm really excited to see how
that whole thing evolves.
And finally I just want to end with a fact which I think is incredible.
You know I said that you can simulate, using our best supercomputers, you can simulate
a quantum computer with fifty six qubits.
Now if you raise the number of qubits up to two hundred and sixty, the size of the computer
you'd need to simulate that would need more bits then there are atoms in the entire known
Universe, which I think is just absolutely bonkers, but I love it.
Thanks so much for watching, that's all I've got for you today.
And thanks also to the sponsor of this video brilliant.org they're a website where you

TV Shows You Won't Believe Actually Exist - Duration: 4:14.With hundreds of shows hitting the small screen each year, there are bound to be some strange
ones that slip under the radar - and a few that will have you wondering how they were
ever made in the first place.
Here are some of the most bizarre TV shows you won't believe actually exist.
Vanilla Ice Goes Amish
If you've been hoping to find a TV show in which a dressed-down Vanilla Ice moves in
with the Amish, the D.I.Y.
Network has got you covered.
In 2013's appropriately titled home-improvement spin-off Vanilla Ice Goes Amish, the rapper
assists his Pennsylvania Dutch hosts with a variety of tasks around the house.
The rest of the time, he basically just sits on the porch, tells jokes, and does everything
but embrace the Amish lifestyle.
If that isn't good television, what is?
The Swan
Reality TV has really scraped the bottom of the barrel a few times — and you'd be hard-pressed
to find a better example than The Swan, a two-season beauty pageant featuring so-called
"ugly ducklings" who receive extensive plastic surgery, life coaching, and psychological
therapy.
Unsurprisingly, some contestants were left both physically and emotionally scarred, and
the show has rightfully been chastised for exploiting women with pre-existing personal
issues.
No matter which way you try to spin it, The Swan was ugly, exploitative, and just plain
awful.
Thankfully, the planned Celebrity Swan revival never made it to the air.
Ramez in Control
Egypt's Ramez in Control is like Punk'd on steroids.
Well-known television prankster Ramez Galal isn't afraid to take things to the absolute
extreme.
He once gave socialite Paris Hilton the ride of her life by staging an emergency airplane
landing — though speculation has arisen that she was in on the prank all along.
According to CNN, Galal once ran a prank called Ramez the Desert Fox in which he and a group
of armed men hijacked a bus before kidnapping and blindfolding the passengers.
Yikes.
The Puppy Channel
Long before videos of keyboard playing cats were only a few clicks away, there was a short-lived
television pilot called The Puppy Channel.
According to Upvoted, it actually tested well, too, with 38 percent of one focus group claiming
they'd probably watch it at least once per day.
Unfortunately, The Puppy Channel never did become its own full-fledged channel — but
at least we still have Puppy Bowl.
Sunset Daze
In 2010, WE TV launched their own geriatric Jersey Shore in the form of Sunset Daze — a
reality show featuring baby boomers gone wild.
According to the LA Times, the show was a success among older viewers, but the under-50
demographic found the show's many age-defying one-liners cheesy, and the first episode's
discussions regarding going commando struck many as cringeworthy.
As a result, the show was put out to pasture after only one season.
Prince of Poets
Abu Dhabi's competition show Prince of Poets focuses on wannabe wordsmiths reciting their
best lines to an enthusiastic crowd and panel of judges.
Unlike the United States, where poets are largely confined to open-mic nights in coffee
shops, the Arab world really digs its poetry — poets in some parts of the Middle East
are bona fide pop stars, filling stadiums with eager ears excited to hear some verbal
bliss.
Cop Rock
Have you ever found yourself watching a cop show like The Shield or Blue Bloods and wishing
it was actually a musical?
Probably not.
But if you have, definitely check out 1990's musical police drama Cop Rock.
ABC's bizarre cross-genre show only lasted 11 episodes, and has since found its way onto
more than its fair share of "Worst TV Shows of All Time" lists — but no one can deny
the fact that the show is a lot of fun to laugh with and laugh at.
The show also deserves credit for trying something new in the industry full of recycled ideas.
After all, when's the last time you've seen a singing baby merchant on TV?
The Flying Nun
It's hard to imagine a major network greenlighting a show about a flying nun.
What's even harder to believe is that such a show would make it through more than 80
episodes.
The Flying Nun aired on ABC from 1967 to 1970, and featured Sally Field as a novice nun whose
small frame and stiff cornette made her susceptible to gusts of wind.
As one might expect, the comedy is fairly mediocre — in fact, as Field told Oprah
Winfrey in 2008, she didn't even want to do the show.
Fortunately, she transcended the ridiculous role, and went on to enjoy a long, award-filled
acting career.

How You Can Avoid Premature Grey Hair - Duration: 3:47.It is said that the loss of our lustrous hair – it's sad decline into limp grey, lifeless
strands – is genetic.
Simply put – there's nothing you can do about it.
But there are a few things we can do that contribute to our premature grey hair, and
other actions we can take to slow the process – even if it does make us look more "distinguished."
Normally hair turns grey as it loses its ability to synthesize melanin pigment.
People with dark hair have eumelanin pigment and people with light hair have phaeomelanin.
Either way, these pigments keep hair either blonde, brown, red, or black, instead of grey
or white.
Melanin is made up of specialized pigment cells called melanocytes.
These cells position themselves at the hair follicle close to the skin's surface.
Every decade we age, it is 30% more likely that we won't make us much of the specialized
pigments we need to keep our hair color.
This has been called the melanogentic clock.
It slows down as we get older, but there are other factors which can cause premature greying.
Genetics, climate, toxic exposure, diet, the level of antioxidants in our bodies, stress,
and more can contribute to a person's "pigmentary potential."
Harvard scientists have found that a person who greys prematurely has failed melanocyte
stem cells that aren't able to produce enough melanocytes.
If you want to prevent premature greying you need to alter your genetic expression and
improve your body's ability to create melanocyte cells (MCs).
Balancing your mind-body constitution by lowering stress can increase your MCs as can eating
a high antioxidant diet.
Other methods for delaying grey hair include lowering acidity in the body.
You can accomplish this by abstaining from alcohol and caffeine and reducing the amount
of refined sugar you consume.
Eating more leafy greens and fresh, organic fruits can also help as can juicing lettuce,
carrot, capsicum, and alfalfa.
You should also rid your bathroom of items such as shampoo, conditioner, hair gels, hairsprays,
etc. if they contain toxic chemicals like parabens, phthalates, synthetic colors and
perfumes, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, toluene, propylene glycol, and formaldehyde
– just a handful of toxic additives that you might find in hair care products.
These all contribute to premature greying and hair loss while also damaging your overall
health.
Finally, consider getting regular scalp massages with essential oils to stimulate the movement
of blood through the scalp and oxygenate the hair follicle.
If you want to keep your hair looking young and vibrant follow these tips and you won't
turn grey prematurely.

Know What You Want In Life - Duration: 1:03.Hi I'm Lou Stoops. You know in life you're always going up, you're climbing.
You're walking up the steps, you're going someplace,
at least you hope you are. You want to be sure though, that the steps you're
climbing in life, especially early on, lead to some place you want to go.
Sometimes we waste a lot of time thinking that certain things are really
what we need, and what we want in life, only to find when we get near to the top
it's not where we want to be at all. Be sure that you know what you want in life.
Be sure that you think before you climb, otherwise, you're going to spend a lot of
time going nowhere. But understand this, even if you're in the midst of that now,
and you've come to that conclusion now, there are still lessons to be learned that
can be positive, now you know what you don't want, and that's almost as good as
knowing what you do want. This has been Lou Stoops with a motivational moment.

2020 Census: A conservative case against the citizenship question | IN 60 SECONDS - Duration: 1:23.Conservatives should care about the 2020 decennial census. For one, it's mandated
in the US Constitution. And right up top. Fidelity to the Constitution implies
fidelity to a fair and accurate census. In addition, the census is critical to
American business. The best way for a free market to work efficiently and
fairly is for businesses of every size to have access to accurate information
to help them make critical decisions. If conservatives want businesses to make
the best decisions possible, they should want a fair and accurate census. A major
threat to the accuracy of the census is underfunding. Why? Due to rhetoric coming
from Washington, members of some immigrant and minority communities have
already shown concern about answering census questions. The commerce
secretary's unfortunate decision to include a citizenship question makes
matters worse. The more reluctant people are to answer the survey, the more money
census will have to spend to get their answers. In addition, census is
employing new technologies for the 2020 count that will save taxpayers money in
the long run, but those technologies need to be tested and protected against
threats. An accurate census is in all our interests. Congress needs to step up.

Roman Reigns REGRETS Undertaker WWE Retirement Match! | WrestleTalk News Apr. 2018 - Duration: 3:50.Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News - I'm Oli Davis.
April Fool's Yesterday was, of course, the 1st April.
Also known as both the day CM Punk finally announced his WWE return and...
'April Fool's Day'.
In true trolling fashion, the wrestling world partook in the festivities - with Kenny Omega
finally realising how to improve his in-ring style:
So...
I think I'm gonna start doing more chain wrestling and multiple step up enzuis.
This emotional stuff isn't real pro wrestling.
Before quickly backtracking, remembering that time zones are a thing:
"Forgot that it may not be April 1 everywhere....
😂 My bad, guys and gals!
(Also, let's face it, I don't even know how to chain wrestle)"
While his former Bullet Club buddies capitialised on the joke day in the only way they know
how: with merchandise: "Like we're already not busy enough, we
decided to start a new band!"
Move aside, Bullet Club name and logo.
You were never that cool anyway.
Because The Young Bucks, Hangman Page, Marty Scurll and Cody Rhodes are now also known
as II Sweet, the new pop music sensation from New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
The gag was all really to launch a new range of t-shirts at Hot Topic, which, unfortunately,
doesn't include an accompanying album.
And II Sweet / The Bullet Club might soon be adding a former WCW World Champion to their
ranks.
Tweeted a day before April Fool's - so this could just be normal trolling rather than
annually recurring trolling - David Arquette responded to The Young Bucks by saying he's
"All In".
All In is the name of the Bullet Club-run pay-per-view this September, suggesting the
actor and - just in case it didn't anger you enough the first time I said it - former
WCW World Champion might be at the show.
John Cena Still Calling Out The Undertaker John Cena also got in on the April Fool's
fun, tweeting: "Woke up and phone alerted that I had a
#WrestleMania answer from The Phenom!
My phone's been doing this for 3 hours now.
#AprilFoolsDay Undertaker 1 Cena 0" with the typing image on an iPhone.
This is just the latest post in Cena's social media campaign to bring the Deadman out of
retirement for a WrestleMania match this weekend, previously sharing a photo of Mark Calloway's
pre-Undertaker gimmick Texas Red on his Instagram.
Because none of Cena's gimmicks look stupid in retrospect.
It's a challenge that Taker seems set to answer, either tonight on Raw, as late as
WrestleMania itself, or just in a throwaway tweet from Kurt Angle.
It will give the Deadman at least one more match on the Grandest Stage of Them All - which
could be welcome news for Roman Reigns.
Roman Reigns Blames Himself For Undertaker's Last Match
Undertaker's 'retirement' match against Roman at WrestleMania 33 last year was widely
seen as disappointing, and Reigns has spoken to CBS Sports about how he feels that's
his fault: "For me, what made it so hard was how heavy
it was.
You know, if I wrestled The Undertaker 20 years ago at the beginning or the middle of
his career, probably not.
But the positioning I found myself in, it just felt really heavy and so much more emotional
than I was ready for it to be, so I think that was the hardest thing…
I just feel like maybe I wasn't good enough or maybe it could have been better on my behalf,
but I always hold The Undertaker in so high in that regard that I just feel like maybe
I could have done better."

called Keep It Spotless.
Cue it!
Ready for Game Two, The Bodyguard.
Playing simultaneously, one team mate is tied to a pole.
They are the target, the other is the bodyguard
and their job is to keep the target spotless.
A sequence of color coded lights will show the bodyguard
which paint jets will fire.
All they have to do is memorize the sequence
and be in the right place to block the paint.
After three rounds, only the target will enter the scanner
for the chance to score up to 100 points.
Round One. A four color sequence.
- Purple! - Purple!
- Pink! Purple, pink. - Purple, pink.
- Orange. - Orange.
- Blue! - Blue!
In three, two, one.
Play!
- Purple! - Purple!
Eww!
- Ah! - Orange, orange!
Pink, I meant pink!
Orange, pink, they're all colors!
Orange now!
[laughing]
Go blue!
End of Round One.
- Oh, yeah, I'm a living mosaic! - Wow.
It's not just my fault, it can't be all on me.
It isn't all your fault, I know I said that a few times but it's not.
Round Two.
Let's make this a little more interesting.
A five color sequence.
- Pink! - Pink!
- Purple! - Purple!
- Blue! - Blue!
- Pink! - Pink!
- Orange! - Orange!
Three, two, one!
Play!
Pink!

Looks like everyone's a living mosaic now, huh, Beau?
- Pink, orange! - Orange!

Block the vents!
End of Round Two.
That was horrible.
Final Round.

- Pink! - Pink!
- Purple! - Purple!
- Blue! - Blue!
In three, two, one.
Play!
[music playing]
- Orange! - Orange!
Ahh!
Is it just me or could they block this paint more
if they stopped running in slow motion?
- Blue! - Blue!
Orange!
Oh, never mind, it didn't go off.
Game over.
It's scanner time.
First up, it's Hugo.
Beau didn't allow any huge hits but plenty of paint slipped through.
Hugo walks away with a Spotless score of... 58.
Well, it's better than 50, so that's good and 50's half.
Yeah, it's more than half, which is great.
- We did great! - Amazing!
Oh, scary voices!
Now, let's see how Dariana did.
Dariana's short term memory loss sent Alyssa the wrong way,
which meant a massive body blow.
Dariana finishes with a Spotless score of... 58!
The same as the boys!
- We tied the boys! - We tied the boys!
Nice!
Think you can stay squeaky clean?
Play dirty, get messy!
But keep it Spotless!
Don't miss it!

How to Make Pickled Red Onions | The Stay At Home Chef - Duration: 4:07.Today on The Stay At Home Chef
I'm showing you how to make
Pickled Red Onions
Making pickled red onions is actually super easy
Today I'm going to show you how to make
basic pickled red onions as well as give you
a number of flavor options that you can mix and match
to customize the red onions to your own
personal taste preferences
Pickled red onions are great on tacos, in salads
and pretty much anywhere you'd have a regular red onion
but instead they're pickled and have that
extra bite of zingy flavor
To start we'll head on over to the stove
Pour 1 1/2 cups of white vinegar into a small saucepan
And then you'll need 2 tablespoons of sugar
which you can leave out if you're watching your sugar
and 1 tablespoon of salt
and we're going to bring this to a simmer
I like to add the sugar because it makes your
pickled red onions a lot more interesting
You have that contrast of flavor between
sweet, salty, and that zingy zip of the vinegar
Once it comes to a boil you'll want to remove it from the heat
and set that aside for just a second
Then you're going to need 1 sliced red onion
and I like to slice mine on the thin side
You want to stuff your onion and all the little slices
into a mason jar
You want to press them down in there nice and tight
One red onion should fit in there quite nicely
Then we're going to take our hot liquid
and pour it right over our red onions in there
Fill it all the way to the top
Now at this point you have yourself simple pickled red onions
You can just screw a lid on
let it cool to room temperature
and pop it in the fridge
but I wanted to show you different flavor options
you can use to spice things up.
I have some fresh thyme leaves
some fresh rosemary
some garlic cloves
a hot habanero pepper
some black peppercorns
some whole cumin seed
and some whole allspice berries
These are all great flavor combinations
to pair with the pickled red onions
You can do each individually or you can mix and match
This first one I'm going to keep nice and simple
and add about 1/2 teaspoon of black peppercorns
Just put on the lid
and then I just give it a little shake to
mix up those black peppercorns
and that's it
this is a really simple pickled red onion
Now this next one I'm going to keep simple as well
and you can see I don't have the liquid in yet
but I'm going to tuck in those thyme leaves
and then I'm going to pour more hot liquid on top
It's a lot easier on some of these to add the liquid last
Then we'll pop the lid on
With some of these it's just easier to add the
ingredients in first rather than try and burn yourself
tucking them in later
This next one is a bit of a Mexican inspired flavor profile
I'm going to add in 1 teaspoon of whole cumin seeds
3 cloves of garlic and you want to use whole garlic
Then I'm going to tuck in a habanero pepper as well
to add a little bit of spicy heat
and pour the liquid right over the top
And of course it's totally okay if you spill
because you should have enough extra
And that's it for that one
The next one I'm going to add some garlic again
Get those tucked in there
as well as some fresh sprigs of rosemary
so we have a little bit of rosemary garlic going on
Once again just fill it up with the pickling juice
pop a lid on
and there you go
a cute little jar of pickled red onions
with a rosemary garlic infusion
Sounds delicious
For this last one, we'll keep it simple
and add about 10 whole dried allspice berries
and that's it
Give that one a little shake too and that's it!
5 different ways to make pickled red onions
so that you can keep everything nice and flavorful

5 Best Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Stretches & Exercises - Ask Doctor Jo - Duration: 7:32.hey everybody its doctor Jo and the pups, and today we're gonna show you the top
five stretches and exercises for carpal tunnel syndrome. so let's get started.
The first stretches are just more of a
warm-up. so just make a fist with both hands. most the time it's usually in both
hands. if it's not it's still pretty good to do both. and once you make a fist you
can keep your elbows bent. if you want to put them straight out you can, but this
is more of a warm-up, so I usually keep them bent. and just bend them down as far
as you comfortably can and then up as far as you comfortably can. so almost
like you're revving a motorcycle up, but just to kind of a continuing to stretch
back and forth. so this is a little bit more just getting it as a warm-up
instead of a full stretch, but you'll feel that stretch in there, so I would
say maybe ten each way. but just going up and down just kind of getting those
wrist moving a little bit. especially if you've got that carpal tunnel syndrome
in there where that that numbness is coming down into your hands and you feel
it and your fingers and in your hands, that's a good way to kind of warm it up.
then you're going to turn your hands up this way where your thumbs are on top,
and then you're going to go into radial and ulnar deviation. so just up and down.
so same thing, this is really just to kind of get that wrist loosened up. it's
kind of a continuous motion going up and down. you don't have to go super fast. you
don't have to go super slow. just kind of a continuous motion just to get
everything nice and loosened up in there. and again that you know that carpal
tunnel is right here, so that median nerve that comes down through there is
the one that usually gets compressed and giving that nerve pain. so if you're
having nerve pain up here and even up into your neck, that's not carpal tunnel
syndrome, that's something coming from your neck or your shoulder. if it's
higher up sometimes it radiates a little bit this way, but it's not going to
radiate all the way up into your shoulder if it's just carpal tunnel
syndrome. so then the next ones are going into a full stretch. so this is going to
be for your wrist flexors and your wrist extensors. so the first one, this time
you're going to put your arms straight out. you can do kind of a
modified version and then you can do it a little bit more. so you're going to
kind of come up into a stop sign position like this. this is the bigger
stretch here. if you don't want quite as much of a stretch you can start off with
your fist straight out, but if you want a little bit more of a stretch under here
for those wrist flexors then put your hands up into that stop sign position. if
you need even more of a stretch you can put a little bit of over pressure with
the other hand. and alternate back and forth, or you can go up against a wall
and put a stretch in there, but this one's a full stretch. so you want to hold
that stretch for thirty Seconds, and you want to do that three times. what I like
to do is alternate back and forth between your wrist flexors and your
wrist extensors, so instead of doing all three at one time, now you're going to
come down, but it's gonna change. so if your fingers are straight out you're
just gonna have a little bit of a stretch on those extensors up there, but
if you want more of a stretch curl them in and you'll really feel that stretch
through there. and then if you still need more of a stretch you can either push on
each side, or take your hands and kind of push them up against the wall and just
get some more pressure in there. so again thirty Seconds, three this way.
so if you just alternate back and forth there'd be a total of six times, three
each way for that thirty seconds. so that really gets it nice and loosened up. then
the next one is going to be a prayer stretch. that really stretches into that
carpal tunnel area, so what I like to do is put my palms together. to start off
with with my elbows kind of close together and then keeping your palms
together, bring your elbows out and your hands down. so it kind of looks like
you're going into a prayer. but you really want to push those elbows out and
you're going to get a really really good stretch in there. now this going all the
way down. if you have carpal tunnel syndrome this might be just a little bit too
much. so bring it up a little bit if you need to. thats stretching, you want it to
be tension. you want to be that good hurt, hurt so good feeling, but you don't want
to just be pain pain. you might get some of that numbness tingling feeling in
your fingers when you're doing this. you're putting that compression on that
nerve, so as long as if you let it up it goes away that's fine, but if you're
stretching and you feel it and you let it up and it's still getting that numbness,
some tingling, you might be to doing a little bit too much. but this is another
one where you're holding it for that 30 seconds and then you're doing that three
times. so really just getting that good stretch. if you need to take a break in
between and shake them out and again, if it's a little numb, but then it kind of
goes away if you move it a little bit that's fine, but if it stays numb that's
when you probably really need to check in with a doctor or physical therapist
because it might be something else. it might be coming from your neck, your shoulder,
your elbow, or your wrist. so that's why it's really important to find out
exactly what's causing it first. so the next one is going to be for your pecs to
stretch out those because even though this is the carpal tunnel syndrome, that
whole chain goes all the way down. so sometimes those tight PEC muscles in
there do cause that numbness and tingling. so if you're not quite 100%
sure, doing a PEC stretch is really good stretching out that chest area. and an
easy one to do while you're sitting down is just take your hands and clasp them
behind you. and so basically what you're gonna do is you're gonna push down and
out and then just push your chest forward as you stretch. and you should
really feel that stretch right through there. so again if you feel a little bit
of numbness and tingling while you're doing it, it's okay as long as once you
let go that numbness and tingling goes away, but if it continues after you hold
that stretch, don't keep doing it because that might be something else going on
that you really need to get checked out. so pushing down and out and then pushing
your chest out and for it and again holding that for 30 seconds doing that
three times. so then another good one to stretch is your anterior scalene muscles
in the front and again if these are tight a lot of times it will pull up in
this area and put pressure on the nerves going out
this way. so sometimes it's like a thoracic outlet syndrome pushing on the
brachial plexus something like that where you're having that numbness and
tingling in your hands that you might think it's carpal tunnel syndrome, but it
might not be. so another great stretch to do is to stretch out those anterior scalene muscles.
so what I like to do is just kind of place my hand on my collarbone here, that
just helps kind of hold it down to get a little stretch, and turn your head the
opposite way. so if I'm stretching this side and then bring that ear up towards
the ceiling. so I'm stretching right through that area right there, and I get
a nice good stretch. I feel it again it should be super comfortable, not painful.
holding that for 30 seconds. and then I would actually do each side even if
again you're only really feeling it on one side, I'd stretch out both sides just
to get everything nice and loosen up. so again 30 seconds, three times on each
side. holding the collarbone or that clavicle turning away and then looking
up pointing that ear towards the ceiling. so there you have it those were your top
five stretches and exercises for carpal tunnel syndrome. if you'd like to help

How To Pick The Perfect Watermelon - Duration: 2:12.How To Pick The Perfect Watermelon
What's a summer picnic without a juicy, delicious watermelon?
But before we slice it open, let's back up to when we first decided it was the right
one to purchase.
If you're like most people, you could use a few tips when at the market.
And in today's video we'll highlight 5 tips on how to pick the right one.
1.
Field Spot
This is the creamy or yellow part of the watermelon's shell that rested on the ground.
What can that color tell you?
It's almost as if it's an inside peek, indicating that it basked a long time in the
sun, ripening.
Avoid ones with white spots, as they needed more sunbathing time before being plucked
from the vine.
2.
Webbing
We can thank bees for playing such an important role in this process; their pollination is
what kicked things off.
Excess pollination will create lots of brown webbing.
A large amount of webbing is your clue that the inside is ripe and sweet.
3.
Gender
Yes, a watermelon has a gender.
The tall – or long ones - are males.
If the watermelon is plump, round or stout, it's classified as a female.
Take a moment to guess which one is the sweetest.
It's the girl!
And if it's a bizarre shape, it indicates its growth was not an easy process as it probably
struggled for sunlight and water.
4.
Size
In the case of the watermelon, the largest ones aren't necessarily the tastiest.
The best ones are average in size.
Rule of thumb; don't pick one too large or too small.
5.
Tail
Taking a final glimpse of the watermelon, we must examine its tail.
If it's green, skip it.
That is an indicator that it isn't quite ripe.
Instead, go with the one that looks dried.

How Many Suits Does A Man Really Need? & What Suit Style & Color To Buy - Gentleman's Gazette - Duration: 14:05.Welcome back to the Gentleman's Gazette!
In today's video, we once and for all, definitively, answer the question on how many suits a man
needs.
The answer is between 1 and 100, there is no simple number.
It all depends on your environment, your budget, and other considerations that you have to
make.
So that's not very helpful and because of that, we put together four different profiles
of different men with different needs and requirements, and we walk you through exactly
what kind of suit you need, what style, what color, what fabric, so you always look the
part and you have exactly the right suit for the right occasion.
Of course, some people think, is it really necessary to still own a suit in this day
and age?
I have to unequivocally say yes.
We all go to interviews, we go to weddings, we go to funerals, maybe sometimes galas,
or evening events, where a suit is required.
Also, it's not a good idea to just borrow a suit last-minute because that will always
go wrong and an ill-fitting suit even if it's a $10,000 suit will just look really bad and
disadvantageous.
For example, just the other day, I got a call from an entrepreneur friend who had to attend
an evening event that we required at least a suit.
Now, he didn't have one.
He had a sports jacket and he just thought he can walk into a mall, buy a suit, and that'll
be it.
The problem is, a suit always requires tailoring and alterations which in turn take time and
so it pays to always have at least one suit in your closet that fits you at any given
point in time.
So what are the four archetypes of men?
First, the person who normally never wears a suit.
Second, the person who sometimes wears a suit.
Three, the person who wears a suit very regularly
and then
Four, the suit lover who doesn't really need suits but who simply loves them for their
own sake.
So one, the man who normally never wears a suit.
You're a student, maybe an IT professional, or just in a job where a suit is not required
of you, ever.
Maybe you work in every casual office, or you work from home, but a suit is just never
something that has come up.
In that case, I suggest you invest in one dark suit.
I suggest you go with a single-breasted suit in a medium to lightweight that you can wear
year-round so I suggest between 270 and 300 grams or about 10 ounces.
You also should invest in a worsted wool which is a very fine wool but it's very different
than a flannel wool and to understand the differences, I suggest you check out our guides
on the website.
So why do you need a dark suit and not something lighter?
Well usually, the only events that require you to wear a suit are in the evening or they're
quite formal such as a wedding or a funeral in that case, dark is always your friend.
Because of that, I suggest a dark navy suit or a dark grey or charcoal suit.
Pretty much between those two colors, you should choose.
Do not go with a black suit because black is harder to combine with other items and
in a suit, it looks bad when combined with blue tones which are very predominant in menswear.
To learn more about why black is an overrated color in classic menswear, please check out
this video here.
If you choose a suit that is too heavy, it will drape well but you'll be too warm in
the summer and if it's too lightweight, it will wrinkle too easily and you look disheveled.
Because that, invest in a solid dark suit make sure you get notched lapels not peak
lapels with your single breasted one because it is very traditional.
I suggest you go with two buttons, you can also go with three buttons that roll on two.
It's a very classic silhouette.
For your trousers or pants, I suggest you go with either a pleated front or a flat front
and cuffs because the weight of the cuffs pulls down the pants.
If you want to, you can also add a matching vest or waistcoat which allows you to wear
a three-piece suit which is more formal.
You can also skip the vest and just have a two-piece suit and it simply gives you more
options but it doesn't cost a whole lot more to upgrade.
Unless you go with a custom tailored suit, you will always have to have alterations.
They'll cost you usually between 50 and 200 dollars depending on where you live and what
extent you need in alterations.
You should check out the video and how a suit should fit so you buy something that's right
in the first place that with minimal alterations can yield a very respectable fit and look.
Now let's talk about the second type of man.
You are someone who rarely wears a suit, you maybe work at a very casual office but every
once in a while, when you have client contact or a business event, you'll need to get out
some suits.
In that case, it pays to have at least three suits otherwise, it would look like you only
have one suit and you wear the same outfit over and over again which is never advantageous.
So the three suits you should invest in are one, a dark navy suit and two, a dark charcoal
suit.
I suggest you get one of them in double-breasted because it's more formal and another one single-breasted
with notch lapels because it's less formal.
Ideally, you want maybe the navy suit to be double breasted because you can wear it as
a blazer separately.
With those two suits, you're covered for summer and spring weather, as well as for fall and
for a winter, they work very well, they're unpretentious, they're very professional,
and you'll always be well respected and look at the part.
For the gray flannel, you want something a little heavier about of 350 to 400 grams.
For the worsted navy suit, you go something with a little lighter about 270 to 300 grams
just like in the other suit before.
The third suit to invest in for you is something that's a little more casual.
It's not as formal and dark and brown tones are ideal for that.
It could be a Glen check with an over plaid, it could be a small houndstooth or just something
that's a little lighter in color that has a pattern.
Of course, to learn more about tweed, you can check out this guide and for flannel and
worsteds, you can check out these guides.
The third type is men who wears a suit to work every day.
Because of that, you need a larger rotation of suits because you can always get them stained
and if you let your suits rest, they will actually last you longer.
No, by that I don't mean that they just last longer because you wear them less frequently
but let's say you have a rotation of 10 suits, they will last you about twice as long as
if you would buy an individual suit, wear it out, and buy nine more.
Yes, you invested the same money in the same number of suits but with the rotation, that
will last you just longer.
That aside, you will also look better and that's the reason we wear a suit in the first
place.
So if you are a VP, an executive, or a white collar professional, suits are your office
attire, or your uniform, or the Wardrobe that you have to wear.
For most men in this category, it's enough to own 10 business suits because that's a
two week rotation.
With ten suits, different shirts, ties, and shoes, you can create many outfits and it
will never look like you're just repeating the same one over and over again.
If you're starting out, you may not be able to afford 10 quality suits right from the
bat and because of that, it pays to slowly build up that rotation, starting with the
most versatile solid ones that we mentioned earlier.
So what are those ten suits?First of all again, the charcoal flannel suit, may be in single
breasted or the navy worsted suit in double-breasted.
They're just staples and classics that you can wear over and over again.
So if the first suit was Navy and single breasted with notch lapels, the third suit should be
Navy with peak lapels and double-breasted.
You always want to maximize a different kind of looks you have and being able to choose
between those two, you can just make a difference on how it's perceived.
Peak lapels look more powerful and are more formal, notch lapels or a little less formal.
The fourth suit should be a not too oversized Glenn check which is a very traditional menswear
pattern.
Sometimes you can see them with an overplaid in a color such as blue or pink.
If you want versatility, I suggest going with a more muted overplaid or without one in the
first place.
Also, I think it's a good idea to go with a worsted fabric here and whether it's single
breasted or double breasted, is up to your taste.
Ideally, you have an even number in your wardrobe but of course, you can choose if you prefer
double breasted, you can have maybe seven double breasted and three
single breasted or the other way around.
Some people even go all single breasted or all double breasted.
It's a preference.
I suggest though that you have at least one double breasted at least one single breasted
suit in your wardrobe that way, you're just more flexible.
The fifth suit should be a medium grey, can either be a solid or a fresco or maybe a herringbone
pattern.
Suit number six should be either a lighter gray or a lighter shade of blue.
Again, it can be in a fresco if you're in a warmer climate or something with a little
more texture such as a sharkskin or hopsack.
Suit number seven should be striped.
Generally, I suggest to go with a lighter stripe on a dark background, a very popular
one is a white or off-white stripe on navy, sometimes you also see gray, but Navy is definitely
a classic.
If you go with a double-breasted pinstripe or rope striped suit, a lot of people will
have associations with the 30s or some gangsters, so keep that in mind when you make your selection.
If you want more subdued stripes, I suggest going with chalk stripes which are less pronounced,
softer, but very elegant, sophisticated, and classic.
Suit number eight should be a brown suit.
If you want to wear it more to casual outings, I suggest to go with a medium brown maybe
with a herringbone pattern, something that is distinctly different from your dark office
suits.
On the other hand, if you still want to wear it to the office, maybe a charcoal Brown suit
with a needlehead or pinpoint is the better choice.
The ninth suit to invest in should even be more casual.
If you live in a colder climate, a tweed suit is really perfect.
If you live in a warmer climate, again I suggest going with a fresco suit or a linen suit or
a cotton suit.
In terms of colors, you can be a little more daring; you can go with something in green,
or petrol blue, or maybe cream, or beige.
Keep in mind that lighter colored suits are more prone to stains and adjust your selection
accordingly.
Last but not least, suit number 10 should be a tuxedo because if you're in this position,
chances are you'll have to go to evening events where black tie is a dress code and then a
tuxedo is the right thing to wear.
To learn more about black tie, please check out our in-depth black tie guide and for a
selection of our evening wear accessories please check out our shop here.
The fourth type of men is the suit lover.
At this point, we can't talk about need anymore and the sky is the limit.
It's all about how many suits you want and the limiting factor is likely the amount of
closet space you have.
You guessed it, that's me and I'm a suit lover.
My goal has always been to build a complete wardrobe not just for suits but overall.
So I have a complete white tie outfit, I have several black tie outfits, I have several
morning coat outfits, I have a stroller outfit, I've suits, overcoats, and so forth; and to
me, dressing and clothing in suits is just a hobby.
Of course, it's also a big part of my business so it's very easy to justify more purchases.
If you enjoyed this video please check out our other suit videos and subscribe to our
channel so new stuff like this comes right here Inbox.
in today's video, I'm wearing a double-breasted flannel suit which is grey with a white windowpane
it's a fabric from Vitale Barberis Canonico that was custom made in a suit for me it has
a very high buttoning point and because of that you don't see much of my tie here I'm
combining it with a white dress shirt with double cuffs as well as a white linen pocket
square from Fort Belvedere and as you can see this is a quite loud suit and because
of that I chose to tone down the accessories this is a blue madder tie with light blue
and red tones the red is picked up in my cufflinks and my shoes on the other hand are black to
simply tone down the entire outfit that being said they are actual two-toned Balmoral boots
black calf leather combined with black suede and I chose a gray pair of Fort Belvedere
boot laces that work with the suit to tie it all together for all the accessories including
the red carnelian cufflinks with sterling silver the tie the pocket square and the socks
with clocks please check out our shop here.

The 'Dickey Amendment', why the U.S. doesn't study its gun problem - Duration: 2:49.38,000 people died from gun related injuries in the United States in 2016
and there is very little research into why and what can be done to change it.
For over 20 years the U.S. Government has purposely restricted funding for gun control research.
That's because of a little-known obstacle, the so-called 'Dickey Amendment.'
In 1993, a study funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,
created an uproar when researchers examined data and came to the following conclusion:
Having a gun in the household made someone more likely to be a victim of homicide.
In response, the National Rifle Association and Republican lawmakers
tried to eliminate the arm of the CDC that had funded the study.
That effort failed, but in 1996 Jay Dickey, a Congressman from Arkansas
who called himself the NRA's 'point-man' in Congress, succeeded on another front.
He introduced a rider in the U.S. spending bill that would prevent the CDC from
using any funds 'to advocate or promote gun control'.
After this became law, public funding for firearm studies dried up.
That means there is a scarcity of research into the nature of gun deaths in the U.S.
which in turn affects how to make policy around guns.
After the massacre in Newtown in 2012,
President Obama urged Congress to allocate $10-million dollars to the CDC
for research into gun-violence. The money was never appropriated.
In 2015, 110 Democratic members of Congress, signed a letter calling on the government
to remove the amendment.
But in December of that year, Congress passed its spending bill for 2016.
The Dickey amendment was still in it.
[Hello?]
[Marjory Stoneman Douglas Highschool is being shot up.]
[It's being shot up?]
Following the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, that killed 17 students and staff,
some members of Congress sent a letter to Speaker Paul Ryan urging him to repeal the amendment.
[The motion to concur is agreed to.]
The most recent budget package passed by Congress,
includes language stating that, 'the CDC has the authority to conduct research
on the causes of gun violence', but, it leaves the Dickey Amendment untouched.
Since the amendment remains in place, it will likely continue to have a
chilling effect on the research conducted by the CDC.

Massage This Point On Your Body To Instantly Relieve Stress And Anxiety - Duration: 3:44.Stress is a serious health issue that can have significant negative effects on your
health.
Research shows that one quarter of Americans regularly experience what they would describe
as, "a great deal of stress."
This ongoing stress breaks otherwise healthy people down over time.
Our bodies are designed to confront serious danger on rare occasions.
We have a coping mechanism that's known as the "fight or flight response" that
tells us to do one of two things, depending on several factors.
In these intense situations, we either stay and face the problem head-on or we run.
Hence, fight or flight.
Naturally, our bodies respond by producing a reaction sufficient enough to deal with
the danger.
We experience an increase in adrenaline, our heart beats quicker, and our muscles prepare
to either defend ourselves or run as fast as possible.
But, what if we're not really in danger?
What if our bodies are telling us that we need to fight or flee in situations that don't
require a physical response?
That's called stress, and the more that we experience these issues, the more strain
that we are putting on our bodies our heart, our lungs, our adrenal glands, and our muscles.
People who are constantly under stress are more susceptible to heart disease, high blood
pressure, and a number of less serious ailments.
So, what can you do to reduce your stress level and its negative consequences?
First, you can practice good habits.
Eating right and getting the proper amount of sleep will help you better cope with stressful
situations those that trigger your fight or flight mechanism.
A healthy diet includes drinking plenty of water, cutting out alcohol and tobacco, which,
over time have become poor coping devices for a stressful lifestyle.
Eating more fresh fruit and vegetables and cutting back on processed junk food will also
make you feel better and keep the excess pounds at bay.
Finally, try limiting your caffeine and sugar intake to reasonable levels.
That's just the beginning.
Once you have adopted these healthier habits, consider adding a fitness regimen to your
daily routine.
Physical exercise goes a long way to reduce stress and relax those muscles that have remained
tense for so long.
It will also do wonders for your high blood pressure and elevated cholesterol.
Exercise is step two.
Step three involves something called acupressure.
It involves a deep firm massage of specific points to relieve pressure and improve circulation
in certain areas of the body.
Many people who are under heavy workloads complain of headaches and sore muscles in
the neck and shoulders.
Using acupressure in this area will alleviate tension and allow your body to relax.
In acupressure, this upper shoulder area is known as the GB21 acupressure point.
When treated, it can reduce facial pain, toothaches, headaches, and neck pain.
Getting an acupressure massage will feel great, but it could have long-lasting benefits that
go further than the release of tension.
It doesn't take long, but could make you feel so good that stress will soon be a distant
memory.
