EP01: A Bola - O início de uma grande paixão | DOZE - Duration: 15:48.

I have a photo from when I was a baby sleeping with a ball.

I used to take the ball everywhere.

I remember that at my grandma's house there was a corridor.

And I would get the ball and dribble the chairs.

She would pass by and I dribbled her as well.

I watched television sitting with the ball like this.

I would take the ball and spin it on my finger.

I took the ball everywhere with me.

And today, Enzo does the same.

Enzo takes the ball to birthday parties.

"Dad, can I take the ball?"

It's really cool.

I'm Marcelo Viera da Silva Junior.

I'm 29 years old.

I was born in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro.

I believe my passion for soccer,

started very early because my grandfather

has always played football too.

My uncle Delano got to play professionally for Flamengo.

Where I was born, people were playing...

beach soccer, indoor soccer, field soccer.

There was always a ball involved.

One day, there was a club called Guanabara,

in the neighborhood of Botafogo.

And the people who knew the area where I lived, Botafogo,

knew about a football pitch there.

And there was a place for a soccer drill.

So my mother took me to Guanabara club.

I was about four years old.

It was a cement pitch.

My grandfather went with my mother and I to see the drill.

My grandfather says I was throwing myself in the cement floor,

I wasn't afraid of hitting my head.

I was doing overhead kicks and doing jumps, as he said.

I would have no problem throwing myself on the floor.

I believe that is how my passion for soccer started to develop.

Because I had this desire to play, I had no problem hurting my shin.

I would bash my knee, hit my toe, torn my foot skin of.

But next day I was there to play again.

So at about four years old I started playing.

I was playing indoor soccer for Fluminense.

He arrived as the team's new player,

hired for that season.

Then for his first training, I was already at the changing room,

and our training uniform was handed out.

And I started to get changed,

and went to the toilet for a second.

When I got back, I realized my socks were full of holes.

I look to my side and he has brand new socks

and I started laughing.

I was like: "No way! He is already stealing my socks!"

From then on,

we were together all the time.

We used to live in the same neighborhood.

So we started going to training together.

He spent most of his weekends at my place.

We played on the weekends, Saturday evenings,

so he just stayed there.

It's how our friendship started, it started in the changing room,

and continues to this day.

Since Marcelo...

since he started playing with my brother,

they became close friends.

And he was always at my place. They were training at Fluminense

so he would come by for a snack before the training.

Then he started sleeping over.

Then he started traveling with my family.

We would go out on the weekends,

we had the same group of friends, so we were always together.

But before we started dating, we became good friends.

Go, Marcelo, go!

In Botafogo, we used to play in a clay pitch.

It was a pitch but with clay floor.

Now they have made it into cement. But it was made of clay.

And there, hell broke loose. The guys wouldn't let me play,

because I was too young.

Finally one day, they let me play.

There was a party happening, a barbecue.

And the guys allowed me to play.

They said: "Marcelinho can play now."

And then, it was party time for me.

I used all my tricks: the nutmeg, the rainbow flick.

And I was very short!

And after that, they let me join the games.

By the time I was a little older,

when I met Leo and Caio,

we used to play at Flamengo Park.

There, we already....

We played together for Fluminense,

trained indoor soccer at Fluminense club.

And on our free days,

we trained Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays,

Tuesday and Thursday we played at Flamengo Park.

Together, we were simply the best.

We practiced the moves we learned in Fluminense,

at Flamengo Park.

It was wonderful there.

I met Marcelo, the first time I saw him...

was when I went to see my brother play.

When they started playing together...

for Fluminense, indoor soccer.

I used to go to the games when I could,

like in the weekends, when there was no school,

I was always going with them.

When Marcelo, Leo and my brother were playing,

we used to go out together, we were a group of friends

watching the games and I would go with my mother.

And I remember on that day,

the game was in a place far way.

We had to take...

these other subway lines there were at the time.

And it took a long time to get there.

And on that day,

I met, like, three new friends from Caio's team.

And one of them was Marcelo.

And I remember the game was so far away

that we had a chance to talk, of getting to know one another.

But he was a shy kid, it sounds almost like a joke today.

But he was really shy.

So it was during a game, cheering for them.

At the indoor pitch that day he scored many times.

He was really proud of himself, joking around.

He would score a goal and run celebrating.

It was really funny.

After that we kept meeting up.

Every time I went to games we became closer and closer.

The boys I was hanging out with were in private schools.

But I was in a public school.

And I had to use a T-shirt from a public school,

but I didn't like wearing it.

So what I did was:

I would wear a white T-shirt over it.

You know? Like any other shirt,

to pretend I was rich, but I was going to my school.

But then one day, to enter the bus, I had to put the shirt on.

And on this day, I put the shirt and who do I meet on the bus?

Clarice! Man, what a shame!

And she still jokes about it: "You were embarrassed to see me."

And I was like: "Well." It was really embarrassing.

So many people to meet and it had to be her.

Shit, man!

You're hot, buddy!

The school was Presidente Arthur da Costa e Silva.

Man, I have a really good story.

I used to fool around a lot in school, I'm not gonna lie.

I remember being expelled from my classes all the time.

Man...

I don't know, I liked playing soccer, for real.

I had to study and stuff, I had to study until...

really late, and I hated it.

And my dad would nag me to study, my mom too.

And my grandfather said: "He has to study but also play ball."

I used to take a hidden ball to school.

And I would tell the guys, Binho, nice bro':

"Hey, It's in the backpack, let's play in the break."

'Cause we had a short break.

And then I would hide the ball, not take it to class,

take it out from my backpack,

and he would take the backpacks,

and set a goal marker with them,

I would go... while he was setting the goal marker,

with the backpacks, I would go and take the ball,

so we could play at the break, kids running all around and we like:

We had to have extra T-shirts because of the sweat.

Hell broke loose, man, it was so good.

Slide-tackle, man! On the cement floor.

Can you believe it?

He was attending classes in the afternoon,

and I was studying in the morning.

I finished my classes around noon,

and he started right after lunch time,

about 2pm.

So every time he...

After my classes I would call him and say:

"Hey, I'm going home, if you want to come by."

Then he would go to my place and skip his classes.

"I'm going to school."

He would put his uniform on, take it off and go to my place.

We stayed there all afternoon before training.

Everyone thought he was in school

but he was skipping classes at my place.

I have some bad news for you.

Oh, shit!

-I have lots of food here! -Wow, fuck! That's some good news!

-So let's put some reggaeton on! -Oh, man!

-MC Loma, please. -No.

You know Liam sings this song, right?

Romeu Santos is awesome.

The example I give to Enzo is that he has to study.

When I was a kid, I couldn't manage all my tasks.

Because I had to leave my place...

I was studying in the morning and I had to change to the afternoon.

Because I had to leave home....

At 6:30am, my grandfather would take me to the central station

and from there I had to take a van to Xerém.

And then...

Because when I was playing indoor soccer,

I had time to study because I studied in the morning,

slept in the afternoon and played indoor soccer at Fluminense at night.

When playing field soccer, my grandpa took me to the central station,

then I took a van and trained there.

I had lunch in Xerém,

took the van back,

then the subway until... where was it again?

São Clemente stop and I had to walk until...

all the way to my school. So it was very tiring.

When I arrived in school...

I slept, I couldn't handle it.

I had this routine for like, three weeks.

It was when I had to move from my house to Xerém

because it wasn't working. I had to move there to study there.

But it was still hard because...

when you are alone, there is no one to...

When I was home, my grandpa would tell me: "You have to go.

Maybe not today, but you have to go."

But alone, you just don't go.

In the end, I had to choose one thing or another.

Because it's really tiring.

But I always say... I've learned a lot from my life experiences.

Of course we have to study, and learn many things,

but I had this privilege to...

learn a lot from life.

Not from school, but from life itself.

KPOP IDOLS DANCING SALSA - Duration: 15:55.

Hello~

We are Rainz!

Episode 2 will be

our dance study time!

Have you seen someone dance Salsa?

Of course we have

I've seen it, too

Is there someone who knows what kind of dance Salsa is?

Maybe me? A kind of wriggly dance?

Wriggly?

As far as I know

Salsa is a Latin American dance

which uses a lot of fast steps

I haven't tried dancing it yet

so I'd really like to start now

Should we call our teacher?

Yes!

Enter the stage please!

Hello, I am José - And I am Erika

What kind of dance is Salsa?

Salsa is a popular form of social dance

It originated in the Caribbean

It's sexy, really fun and it's especially for couples

But you can also do solo

Couples!

A pretty-looking, quite sexy dance

You understood that? -Yes, I did

Could you show us a bit?

Yes, of course

Do you think we can do this?

We've never tried this so it might be quite difficult

We now know what kind of dance Salsa is

Is there maybe a basic step you could show us?

Yes, that's possible

One, two, three

Turn

One, two, three

Turn to the right

Please show us a second step again

One, two, three

Now with partner

Turn

Rais your leg

You dance so well

Really great to watch!

Now we learned three figures

It's more difficult than I thought

and it's a couple dance, too

A couple dance...

So if we want to do this right

we should decide on couples through a game

But that would mean that we have one couple with three people

Right, we're seven, so one person is left

So what could he do

Maybe he could dance with the teacher?

Now that we have our teams, I hope you like your partner

So should every team show their moves once?

Now the last team

Salsa is a lot fun

Really a lot of fun

It'd be a waste to stop here

So we got a task

We have to use the steps

and turn them into sketches

Situations?

Yes, a reality show

And our teachers will be the judges

The best team will receive a reward

What is the reward? -Well, it's ~~~~?

I don't know either

Our teachers prepared it

First team

Please begin

Situation 1: Make the boss who makes you mad dance!

(PD) In this situation your boss is driving you mad

and you have to make him dance

What is this?

What are you doing?

I'm speechless, so rude

But boss

we should dance together

Second team, please

Situation 2: Get the waitress that fails at work to dance

(PD) Have the failing dance with you

Ah, so she's a waitress

I'm checking if my employee is doing her work right

Your order

This is not what you ordered?

Get over here! What do you think you're doing?

How should I do it?

Follow my lead

One, two, three~

And if there are more people

You turn and from there you can serve the next guest

So I just have to follow you

Okay, one more time

That's right, that's right

Like this

Very good

One more thing

You make a pretty woman

I feel weird

It's okay, it fits you well

I do feel like I became a girl

Pretty! -Really?

Yes, really pretty

Now it's our turn

We will present you a story, too

I sleep so tight, I don't wake up

My girlfriend wants to go out and dance

But he just keeps sleeping

So the girlfriend tries to wake her sleeping boyfriend

and will do this by dancing Salsa

The story you will see now

is a story about a couple who end their fights by dancing

Oh, the girlfriend doesn't seem to like this

Are they fighting?

Oh he's trying to get her back! But she's mad at him

What is this?

The atmosphere is turning!

Help me up

Situation 4: Make another guy's girlfriend dance!

(PD) A girl is waiting for her boyfriend

and a young man who is passing by tries to get her attention

Excuse me

One second~

Do you know Salsa?

Who would have know that Salsa is so practical?

You can even use it in everyday life

Our lesson is ending

And the teachers have to pick the winners

How high do you think are your chances of winning?

We did well, right

I think I should get the title of Salsa Queen

Salsa Queen and Salsa King, here

So please, pick the winner

Everybody did a really really good job

You have the rhyhtm

But we have to choose one couple

And we already decided, congratulation guys

But the couple who acts well, who dances with passion

who has a lot of creativity in its performance was

Couple number

Three!

Here we have

Salsa!

Chips with Salsa!

This is my first time trying these

Really? I used to work in a restaurant who sold them

As a part-time worker

It's been forever

So yes, I knew a bit about Salsa

How does it feel to first dance Salsa and then eat salsa?

It's delicious, but a bit spicy

Today at ZanyTV

we received a reward and got to taste salsa

and got to learn Salsa in a fun lesson

Having spent such a great time, we feel great!

And we would like to thank our teachers

José and Erika, who came here today from quite far away

It was a lot of fun

For me it's the first time speaking to Latin American people

So today was a very special day for me

And I've always wanted to learn Salsa

Even if just once

So I really had a lot of fun today! Thank you

If we ever get the chance

it would be great if we could go to Latin America together as Rainz

I really enjoyed our lesson today!

It seems like our members grew closer

by dancing Salsa together in couples

It was really good to see that

Next time maybe we could learn Samba and many other dances

and will grow and learn more togetehr as Rainz

Thank you

So this was Rainz!

Ciaoooo~

Eliminate White Hair Without Spending Too Much Using Only 2 Ingredients! - Duration: 4:02.

As soon as the first white hair appears, not everyone was excited.

Although currently the white hair more accepted and more and more people

prefer to maintain the natural color of hair, the appearance of these white wires still causes

uncomfortable in many things.

This is especially the case for the most young people, who are increasingly seeking ways to

these wires.

But why does the hair lose its color?

Like our skin, the hair receives its coloration of a pigment, melanin.

As we get older, we losing the ability to produce this pigment,

and the appearance of white wires is inevitable.

The activity of melanocytes decreases with age and the body gradually stops producing

melanin.

In addition, factors such as predisposition genetics, malnutrition, hormonal fluctuations,

smoking, pollution, stress, use of products inadequate hair and certain diseases such as

chronic constipation, sinusitis and of the thyroid can be the cause of the problem.

According to scientists, each hair follicle has a kind of "melanogenic clock",

which slows the production of melanin, causing loss of hair pigmentation.

Instead of covering the gray wires with colors try this natural remedy.

with only 2 ingredients:

Aloe vera in gel The aloe vera gel is excellent for

scalp because your vitamins have antioxidant and can soothe an irritation

on the scalp.

In addition, the gel reduces hair oiliness and repairs damage caused by hair products.

Vitamin E Some researchers defend the idea of

that the aging process is on to oxidative stress.

Vitamin E plays an important role because it can help protect against free radicals,

which cause problems to our body.

In addition, it promotes healthy growth of the wires.

Here's how:

Put 2 teaspoons of aloe vera into a canister

Add the contents of one capsule of Vitamin And the canister

Mix the ingredients until Massage this mixture into the

scalp and let it act throughout the night Wash the hair the next morning To

obtain good results and restore pigmentation hair, it is advisable to apply this

recipe 1 or 2 times, every day.

Try and tell us the comments like this remedy helped you!

Is Cyberpunk 2077 a First Person Shooter? - Duration: 5:43.

Long answer: fuck no

And I started like this because if you're here only looking for a quick answer, you

have it, you don't need to watch the rest of the video

Greetings Earthlings!

Welcome to the MadqueenShow!

I am your host the MadQueen!

On today's menu, we have a new Cyberpunk 2077 news video for you, and today we're going

to talk about this "leak"

oh, boy

reported by GamePressure.com, link in the description, according to which, Cyberpunk

2077 will be a first person shooter

This new information comes from an inside source that also claims, and, honestly, I'm

trying not to laugh here, that the studio is working on a fragment of the game the action

of which will take place on the moon

Guys, I promise this is not an April Fool's news

And, yes, I suppose that you realized that I used the international symbol of quotes,

"leaks", yes

Usually, I'm not this sarcastic with leaks, I try to respect the work of my colleagues

but in this case, we're talking about a leak that contradicts every single piece of information,

every single piece of official information, that we have regarding Cyberpunk 2077 so,

I must confess that this new info has me a little shocked, not to mention that I honestly

don't believe it, and here are the reasons why

Still, we are talking about an Open World RPG

This is true RPG

Yes, this man that you just saw is Adam Kiciński, CEO of CD Projekt, the Polish developer that

is now working on Cyberpunk 2077

and, well, if I was to accuse Adam Kiciński of lying, I would wait until I have proof

First of all, in this conference, we were given some information regarding Cyberpunk

2077 and one of the first things that we were told about it, was that we were talking about

a true RPG, a solid story with a lot of ramifications and, you know, again an RPG, that is not a

First Person Shooter

We know from previous interviews that the heads of the Polish developer CD Projekt are

people that have a lot of experience playing pen and paper roleplaying games, so, it's

very difficult for me to believe that people that have such experience in these games cannot

know the difference between a first-person shooter and a roleplaying game

second, we know that Mike Pondsmith is supervising the project

Mike Pondsmith is the original creator of the world of Cyberpunk, and he said in an

interview that he was requested many times before to make a video game on his universe

Cyberpunk, but he refused, but CD Projekt was the perfect studio to do so because they

weren't just going to create a universe that was more or less cyberpunk just to put the

brand "Cyberpunk" on it, but, that we were talking about a studio that really understood

the meaning of the universe that Mike Pondsmith created

Again, this universe is not a universe of a first-person shooter

We fought to find somebody who was enough of a fan of the world and the game to not

wanna go changing around, or to stick a label of "Cyberpunk" on it and then do something

totally different, so when CDPR approached us what we realized really rapidly is that

these guys are fans, these guys know the material, they were quoting things back to me that I've

forgotten, they got it

As we mentioned several times in the past, we're talking about a game that's going to

have both options, first and third person

so, honestly, I don't really know where this information comes from, but it's not the first

time that we see a lot of leaks that allegedly come from inside sources but they've been

already debunked in the past

I honestly don't know what else can I say about that, because with a very little check

I believe that it was easy to see that this information is incredibly, incredibly unlikely to be true

But, one channel I do trust when it comes to leaks about Cyberpunk 2077 is The Triple

S League who have proven in the past a lot of accuracy

they have a rate of a 100% accuracy right now, everything they leaked has been confirmed

so, yes, you're going to find a link in the description to visit the Triple S League because

I am sure that they will have some insight regarding this subject

Well, folks, thanks for watching

I hope you found this information, I don't know, useful?

Is that useful?

Not even amusing

Don't forget to take a look at our Cyberpunk 2077 lore Playlist to know more about the dark future

See you in next videos and stay being amazing!

Mick Mulvaney TERRIFIED Of His Own Agency's Power - Duration: 7:31.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's acting director is asking Congress ... listen

to these words, he's the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's acting director, Mulvaney.

Of course, you've heard his name, he's the nutcase.

He's asking Congress to rein in the agencies that he's supposed to be leading.

He's in charge.

He's saying, "Congress, please rein us in."

Mick Mulvaney, the Leader of CFPB, thinks his organization has too much power, and while

he's there he wants Congress to take away as much power as possible.

Well, first of all, look, we both know the history.

Give us the background of Mulvaney.

I mean, tell us a little bit about him.

Most of Mulvaney's professional career has been financed by the payday loan industry,

those predatory payday lenders.

They've given a ton of political money to Mulvaney.

And so the first thing he did, obviously, when he came into office, before he wrote

this report asking for less power, was he dropped a bunch of lawsuits against the payday

lending industry for all of their predatory practices, ripping off consumers, creating

endless cycles of debt.

So Mulvaney last week issues his first report to Congress, and in this first report, which

was supposed to be about what his agency is doing, about the only thing he says is, "I

have so much power here to actually hold banks accountable that you've got to take it away

from me.

I don't need this.

I don't want it.

Let's cripple this agency, and you can help me do it, Congress."

Well, you know there's only a couple ... You can either read it like, "I, Mulvaney, am

so stupid, and I'm afraid that you've given me all this power, because I'm a fool, and

I'm going to use the power in the wrong kind of way."

Or you conclude the obvious, and that is he's joined at the hip with the very industry that

he's supposed to be ... he's supposed to be in charge of making sure that this organization

does their job and protects consumers.

There's been some good results that this organization has gotten, and now all of a sudden he says,

"Well, you know, consumers really aren't that important.

Yes, I was involved in an industry that ripped them off."

The payday lending process was such a scam.

As a matter of fact, people went to jail because of it.

I'm surprised, frankly, he didn't go to jail because of it.

It's so funny too, because he wants Congress to come in, because this is the group that's

supposed to be regulating those big banks, the Wall Street bankers, holding them accountable.

And so by bringing Congress in, by saying, "You have to share this power with me, because

it's too much for me," it's going to let Congress once again regulate the banks, come up with

the rules, come up with the penalties and punishments when they break the law.

Not if, it's a when.

We know it's when they break the law, and Congress will do nothing.

We'll end up in the same tailspin we were in 2007-2008, and the cycle will continue

to repeat itself, because-

What he's really doing, he's creating a record.

That's what he really wants to do.

He wants to be on the record as saying, "I'm the insider.

I'm the guy that's supposed to know most about it.

And yeah, I'm either too stupid ... you've given me too much power and I'm way too stupid

for that power ... or you know what, consumers really don't matter."

They did a couple great things last year, if you remember, before Mulvaney took control.

This agency has potential to really get some things done, don't they?

It absolutely does, and those lawsuits against payday lenders were going to be huge.

You could have shut down the industry, or at least fixed it, and Mulvaney steps in,

says, "Nope, not good enough for me.

Take away my power, because I'm too stupid to know what to do."

Yeah, "I really am a dummy."

A Michigan agency has approved Nestlé's plan to boost the amount of water it takes from

the state, even though more than 80,000 residents had asked for the state to refuse Nestlé's

request.

And so, again, it comes down to an agency that's packed with political hacks.

We know the ending to this before it even starts.

I want you to think about something.

When we saw all of the Koch brother activity ... remember the Kochs?

They were getting involved in school board races and county commissioner races, and everybody's

scratching their head, saying, "My God, you're spending billions of dollars on these dogcatcher

kind of races.

What's up?"

Well, this is what's up, you see.

This is what's up.

Now the agency in Michigan is going to say to Nestlé, "Oh sure, we're water-starved,

our water is poisoned, you've taken ..." Nestlé, as you know, has stolen water from California.

They've stolen water all over the world.

I claim it's stealing, but really from the standpoint of the way it all takes place,

it takes place with political favors, it takes place spreading money around.

In California, for example, what was it?

For years, was it 20 years?

Right, in San Bernardino, I believe.

No, it was 40 years, they were operating [crosstalk 00:05:12].

40 years.

They were pumping water and paying not a dime.

Okay, so let's talk about this story here.

What's happened here is that Nestlé was already taking water away from Michigan, which is

one of the most water-starved states in the country.

They were doing 250 gallons a minute at current rate.

They wanted more.

250 gallons per minute was not enough.

They wanted 400 gallons per minute.

So the agency in Michigan does what they're supposed to do, they open it up for public

comment.

80,945 people came out publicly and addressed the agency and said do not let Nestlé do

this for reasons X, Y, Z. 75 people in the State of Michigan ...

Said it was okay.

... said okay.

75.

They couldn't even get to 100 who said this is a good idea.

Farron, I can't ... Look, Nestlé ... we know what's up.

Okay, first, anybody watching this show before, out of all of the water companies, out of

all of the bottled water companies, they're finding plastic garbage inside water bottles,

okay?

It's just plastic that comes off inside the bottle or in the process, but it's plastic

that ends up in your system, stays in your system once you drink it.

Out of all of the water companies, the average number of plastic shards were something around

300.

With Nestlé, it was more than 10,000 pieces of toxic plastic garbage that was in ... what

was the name, Pure Life?

Pure Life, [crosstalk 00:06:38].

Pure Life.

They make a product called Pure Life, 10,000 shards, little pieces of plastic that are

microscopic, they have to use dye to find it, but it was the highest of all of them.

It was, and so you have to wonder, obviously, when they pump this water out of the earth,

out of the springs, it doesn't have plastic in it, so what point along the way are they

putting this plastic in there?

How is it getting in there?

But more importantly with this Michigan story, Flint, Michigan is still a disaster.

They do not have clean water, and Nestlé comes along and the state, controlled by Republicans,

says, "You know what?

Take more of our water.

What do we need it for?

The poor people in Flint?

No, no, no.

They like their leaded water.

You take what you need, Nestlé."

Let me point out, they're doing it all over the world.

You need to watch this story.

This is a very ugly story.

It's going to get really, really ugly once they own all the water aquifers.

Why Tammy From NCIS: New Orleans Looks So Familiar - Duration: 5:44.

NCIS: New Orleans' newest Special Agent, Tammy Gregorio, has quickly became a favorite with

fans, some of whom were surely left wondering where they'd seen actress Vanessa Ferlito

before.

"Put your hands up!

Now!"

NCIS: New Orleans definitely isn't Ferlito's debut — here's where we've seen this Brooklynite

before.

24

Ferlito scored an early breakout role on the hit Fox crime drama 24, appearing on 11 episodes

of the show's third season as Claudia Hernandez, Hector Salazar's girlfriend and secret lover

of the show's protagonist, Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland.

Claudia agreed to help Bauer in exchange for passage out of Mexico, but she was killed

in the process.

According to Ferlito, Claudia wasn't originally supposed to die, and she and Jack would have

ended up together.

But her character was killed off after Ferlito was cast in the 2005 Tommy Lee Jones crime

comedy called...

Man of the House

Given the movie's abysmal nine percent Rotten Tomatoes score, Ferlito may have ended up

wishing she'd stayed on 24.

Then again, Ferlito may have taken some small comfort from the fact that her performance

in Man of the House was one of the few things in the critical and commercial dud to earn

positive notice.

While strenuously urging potential viewers to stay away, Variety noted that she stood

out among the ensemble supporting Jones,

"…mainly because she's the only one who gets enough to do to make a strong impression

as a distinctive personality."

Spider-Man 2

Like most hard-working actors, Ferlito has occasionally appeared in projects that only

featured her briefly.

Take, for example, her part in 2004's Spider-Man 2.

In the superhero sequel, Ferlito played Louise, Mary Jane's friend and shopping partner.

It's a small part, but at least Ferlito fans can enjoy this extended scene featuring her

chatting with Mary Jane that was edited out of the theatrical cut.

"What about that perfect kiss you had once?

The guy you believed in?"

"That was a fantasy."

Shadowboxer

In 2005, Ferlito landed a role as Stephen Dorff's pregnant wife in the crime thriller

Shadowboxer — and like her other big-screen feature that year, Man of the House, it was

critically panned.

Slant dismissed it as, quote,

"...a faux-art-house crime thriller, and the closest approximation the movies have offered

audiences this year of feeling trapped inside a rancid toilet bowl."

That's some pretty scathing criticism, but Ferlito was hardly the focus.

Shadowboxer had some far bigger names attached, including Academy Award winners Cuba Gooding

Jr. and Helen Mirren.

CSI: New York

NCIS: New Orleans isn't the first primetime crime drama to prominently feature Vanessa

Ferlito.

That honor goes to CSI: New York.

Ferlito appeared on 26 episodes of the long-running spinoff series before her character, Aiden

Burn, was murdered.

She later claimed that it was her decision to leave, telling TV Guide,

"I had no intention of doing an hour TV show.

I had just wrapped the movie Man of the House with Tommy Lee Jones, so it's not like I had

nothing going on.

But it was CSI: New York!

You don't say no to that."

Death Proof

Ferlito's first few big-screen roles may not have turned out the way she'd hoped, but all

that early experience paid off in 2007 with a part in Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof.

Ferlito played Arlene, aka "Butterfly," one of three friends killed by Stuntman Kurt Russell

and his "death-proof" stunt car.

In an interview with ACED magazine, she claimed Tarantino wrote the role of Butterfly specifically

for her.

Ferlito is responsible for one of Death Proof's most talked about scenes, in which Butterfly

gives Stuntman Mike a lap dance.

She told ACED,

"People still go crazy over that lap dance.

It has a cult following now."

Madea Goes to Jail

After working with Quentin Tarantino, Ferlito stepped in front of the cameras for a different

sort of auteur, playing a heroin-addicted prostitute named Donna in Tyler Perry's Madea

Goes to Jail.

Ferlito later told Trailer Addict she loved working with Perry, specifically because she

appreciates working with directors who are also actors.

Like most of Perry's directorial efforts, Madea Goes to Jail proved profitable at the

box office, so it's safe to assume that more than a few NCIS: New Orleans viewers recognize

Ferlito from this big-screen hit.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps

Sharing a few minutes of screentime with Michael Douglas and Shia LaBeouf, Ferlito returned

to theaters in 2010 with a brief supporting role in Oliver Stone's Wall Street: Money

Never Sleeps.

In Stone's Wall Street sequel, inspired by the 2008 financial crisis, Ferlito plays a

character named Audrey — a tough, no-nonsense type.

It's a role that the Brooklyn native was uniquely well-suited for.

Stand Up Guys

Those who saw 2012's Stand Up Guys, starring Al Pacino and Christopher Walken, likely remember

Ferlito as Sylvia, the woman the protagonists find in the trunk of their stolen car.

The film's subplot involving Ferlito's character didn't help Stand Up Guys' critical reception.

As the victim of brutal abuse, her role moved the plot, though not everyone felt her character

was treated with sufficient respect.

TIME magazine put it like this:

"It's nice that the stand-up guys rescue and avenge her, but her suffering is trivialized

in a grossly insensitive way."

Graceland

Ferlito returned to her television crime drama roots in 2013, joining the cast of USA Network's

Graceland as FBI agent Catherine "Charlie" DeMarco throughout the series' three-season

run.

To prepare for the intense role, Ferlito told PopSugar that she sat down with a number of

real undercover agents to discuss what the job is actually like.

Though she looked to real-life agents for inspiration, Ferlito said she didn't study

other actors.

"When I jump into a role, I just kinda go fresh.

I just jump right in, because you can't focus on what other people do, or then it's just

not natural."

Graceland benefited greatly from Ferlito's natural affinity for crime dramas, which is

ultimately the genre in which the actress truly shines — as NCIS: New Orleans fans

can certainly attest.

Pallet Wood Pipe Clamp Workbench Vise - Duration: 7:35.

so I built these work benches a couple years ago in my Rhode Island shop out of

a couple dozen pallets now these benches are rock-solid but

there's been one thing I've been meaning to add to these and that's a bench vise

so I'm gonna make a sliding Moxon style vise along the edge of one of my work

benches but I'm gonna make that out of pallet wood as well because apparently

that's what we do around here. So I'm gonna start by cutting off the edge of this

bench and then I'm gonna do one of my classic pallet laminations and turn it

into a bench vise

now with the overhang on the bench cut off I just need to keep working it until

it is flat and square so that the bench vise lines up perfectly with the edge of

the table

check this out, I found this beautiful birch pallet wood so I decided to do the responsible

thing and hide it under the bench where nobody will ever see it

not to support this bench vise I'm using pipe clamps with three-quarter

inch galvanized pipe supporting it and to drill the holes I had to order a

special one and 1/16 inch Forstner bit now this exactly matches the diameter of

the pipe

hey thanks for watching this is my new bench vise made using pipe clamps and

built entirely from pallet wood of course this was a modification that I

made to my existing pallet wood work benches that I built a couple of years

ago I actually just put some plans together for this workbench including

the optional bench vise I'll be sure to link that on screen as well and check

all the links down in the description for everything relating to this project

tools and materials on this build will be linked down below and while you're at

it go check out my kit I took the time to fill that up with a categorize list of

all the top tools that I recommend and use in my shop all the time and even my

camera gear so if you're ever wondering what I'm using you can probably find it in my

kit alright that should keep you busy for a little while thank you for watching see

you next time

ALLIES TO ENEMIES: McCabe BLASTS Comey Amid Latest Book Tour Statements - Duration: 2:10.

ALLIES TO ENEMIES: McCabe BLASTS Comey Amid Latest Book Tour Statements.

The more Comey goes on his Nationwide book tour.

The more he implicates himself!

Recently, disgraced former FBI Director, James Comey appeared on The View!

During the interview, he states that HE was the one who ordered the investigation into

the "McCabe" case.

This is in direct opposition to what McCabe's attorney states! It begs the question…who

is the fibber, McCabe or Comey?

The finger-pointing has officially begun!

During The View interview, the Washington Examiner reports Comey as stating the following:

"The McCabe case illustrates what an organization that's committed to the truth looks like."

Specifically, he says, "We investigated — I ordered that investigation.

We investigate and hold people accountable," Comey said Wednesday morning.

"I still believe Andrew McCabe is a good person."

Comey continues, "But the Inspector General found that he lied, and there are severe consequences

in the Justice Department for lying as there should be throughout the government. This is

in complete opposition to what McCabe's lawyers say on the same day as Comey's comment!

The McCabe attorney's contradict with this: "Neither Mr. Comey nor the OIG is infallible,

and in this case neither of them has it right."

With the Peter Strzok and Lisa Page texts, Michael Horowitz concluded in the Inspector

General report that "when asked on four separate occasions who provided the information

to the Wall Street Journal, McCabe said he did not authorize the disclosure to the reporter,

which was not true" per the Washington Examiner.

The Examiner also reports that, "McCabe also misled Comey about what he authorized

the FBI aides to tell the reporter" according to the Inspector General report.

NFL Star Posts Daughter's Prom Pic, Liberals Freak When They See What He's Holding - Duration: 4:20.

NFL Star Posts Daughter's Prom Pic, Liberals Freak When They See What He's Holding.

Liberals are freaking out after former NFL kicker Jay Feely posted a prom night picture

with his daughter and her date.

The left's meltdown will make complete sense when you see what Feely was holding in his

hand.

American values often get trampled under the feet of the militant left as they push their

hypersensitive politically correct agenda.

In this case, former NFL kicker Jay Feely posted a picture on Twitter showing him standing

between his daughter and her prom date while holding a gun.

What was intended to be a joke, quickly turned into a firestorm for Feely, according to Fox

News.

Feely posted the controversial picture on Saturday, April 21, 2018, just before his

daughter and her prom date headed out for their big night.

Feely decided to make it memorable by appearing to be the "overprotective father" and

hold his handgun while standing between the two high school kids.

For many, the humorous gesture was well-taken because most of us remember what it was like

to be in high school getting ready for the prom.

However, for the super sensitive liberals on Twitter, the picture was more than they

could bear.

Feely's tweet set off an avalanche of backlash and hate.

Feely's daughter can be seen looking up at her dad while her prom date smiles in a

very comfortable fashion.

You can tell from looking at the pic that no one felt threatened.Instantly, snowflakes

from every corner of Twitter started responding to Jay Feely's picture with nasty messages.

The amount of effort that liberals will put into telling other people how to live is hilarious,

despite their proven track record of bad morals and lack of logic.

One Twitter user who freaked out over Feely's tweet was Lorianne Gilmore.

"Can you imagine seeing these pix of your son for the first time?

Omg I would call the cops on that guy!" she wrote.

Another person on Twitter with the username "Wayenin" wrote, "Let's see…Daddy

poses for a photo by standing between daughter and her date, while holding a hand gun!?

The clear message is what?

That you own a gun?

You make a strong case that MANY GUN OWNERS SHOULD NOT OWN A GUN!!

Totally irresponsible."

In my opinion, it's "totally irresponsible" to let people like "Wayenin" have a Twitter

account.

I think it's safe to assume that this respondent would have the same reaction if Feely were

holding a butter knife.

Twitter user Danielle added her worthless two cents as well.

"so you're cool with your son coming home and telling you his girlfriend's dad held

a gun to him as a 'joke'?" she wrote.

I wonder if Danielle actually looked at the picture before opening her mouth.

Nobody held a gun to anyone.

It was pointed at the ground.

There were no fingers on any triggers, but don't let anything like facts get in your

way if you're a liberal.

After Jay Feely discovered that he had panicked thousands of snowflakes on Twitter, he attempted

to reassure everyone that it was only a joke and that the gun wasn't even loaded.

"The prom picture I posted was obviously intended to be a joke.

My Daughter has dated her boyfriend for over a year and they knew I was joking.

I take gun safety seriously (the gun was not loaded and had no clip in) and I did not intend

to be insensitive to that important issue," he wrote.

Jay Feely should never have given the snowflakes the time of day in my opinion.

He didn't owe them an explanation or anything else for that matter.

Notably, there were many people who chimed in with comments in support of Feely's "protective

father" prom picture.

Leave it to liberals to make a big deal out of nothing.

It's ridiculous that all of the social justice warriors on Twitter felt the need to bash

Feely for what I think is a great and memorable pic of him and his family.

There's no doubt that the left hates the pic for so many reasons.

In addition to guns, liberals hate anything that resembles a traditional family or old

fashioned values.

There was a time in this country where a guy like Feely would have just told liberals to

pound sand, which is exactly what they should do.

Power "can't believe" IndyCar restarted in "very dangerous" conditions - Duration: 4:15.

Power "can't believe" IndyCar restarted in "very dangerous" conditions

The rain had been falling harder under yellow flag conditions for Charlie Kimball's stranded Carlin-Chevrolet, but it was still restarted on Lap 16.

Leader Josef Newgarden almost lost his Penske-Chevrolet on the standing water on the right-side of the track, while right behind him his teammate Power lost traction, lost second to Sebastien Bourdais' Dale Coyne Racing-Honda, and then lost control.

Power told NBCSN: "I could not see a thing – and I had just one car in front of me! It just hydroplaned on me and was out of control.

"I just can't believe [IndyCar] went green with how bad it was and the amount of standing water.

So yeah, very disappointing, and to me, very dangerous.".

Asked if the drivers had said anything about not going green, Power replied: "I don't know.

We were talking about it and my spotter said it was getting bad.

You can see it was getting really bad and I kept saying to Roger [Penske, team owner and Power's strategist] that I can't see a thing in front of me.

I couldn't even see my hand in front of my face.".

Power added that the puddles "always seem to be sitting in the worst spots.

They were in various high-speed areas and on the back straight as well.".

Power, who has shunted in three of the opening four races, but finished second at Long Beach last week, said: "It's the last thing we needed, very disappointing, and kind of disappointed that we went green….

"I don't know what you do in that situation, because if you completely back off, somebody will hit you and it becomes really dangerous.

If you try to keep in the throttle, you will do like I did and just spin.

It's just a really difficult situation to be put in.".

Following Power's shunt, the race was put under yellow and then red.

After 35 minutes of sitting in pitlane IndyCar let the drivers run five laps behind the pace car, but it was not restarted.

IndyCar is now aiming for a local 4:30pm local time restart, and will attempt to get at least a total of one hour of running.
