Youtube daily report Mar 26 2017

Hi, this is Joan Londoño Art!

In this channel I show my drawing process

from different artistic techniques

like graphite, oil, ballpoint pen

and I give some tips

First of all I want to show you

for a moment the drawing that was made

in the previous video and this is another is today.

Here I leave a link

for you to enter to watch this video if you wish

and I show you a short

of this drawing made with pen (ink).

In this drawing I used a mechanical pencil,

graphite pencils from 4H to 6b,

a diffuser, eraser,

cleanty (limpiatipos) and paper durex.

Today I want to comment on three tips

that allow us to make more enjoyable

the realization of our artistic works

which carry a lot of dedication,

while at the same time I make this drawing to graphite,

a technique that I personally like a lot.

The first, is the execution of two or three works at a time,

I've even heard of artists who perform up to eight works at the same time,

but if we are beginners it is best

to develop this method with caution

so that we have the target in sight

and so step by step we achieve our goal.

Therefore, it is advisable to perform

two to three works together to start,

although there are always more possibilities

and also depends on the pleasure of each one.

By using this method we can slide

from one work to another, which allows us to continue

the drawing that gives us more taste at that moment

in specific and if for some reason

we want to see or do something different,

you can rest and also find

motivation again in a job

that is being done at same time.

The second method is similar to the previous one

but in addition, the works that will be carried out

jointly will be carried out

with different artistic techniques,

that is to say one based on graphite, another with oils

and a third with pens, pastels, watercolors, etc.

This depends on the techniques you like

and that you are currently practicing

or want to learn.

This method is the one that I use most today,

, since on occasions

besides the fact of wanting to slip

between two or three works,

I also like to change the sensation

between the execution of one and the other.

So when I have desire to perform

or feel a particular technique

is only a matter of developing

the one I most desire at that time.

Which gives me a greater sense of freedom.

And third, I recommend that when

you finish one of the works

you can start another in your position

which will keep you connected to your work.

While testing, verifying or experiencing

what or which techniques you like the most.

The idea is to enjoy what you are doing!

I hope I have been of help and if you know

other methods that allow us to carry out our works

in a more fun way

please comment and share it with us.

Remember to practice constantly!

Thank you very much for watching the video,

Regents Exam | Algebra I (Common Core) | August 2016 | Problem 35 - Duration: 3:50.

Regents exam algebra 1 august 2016 problem number 35.

A drama club is selling tickets to the spring musical.

The auditorium holds 200 people.

Tickets cost 12 dollars at the door and 8 dollars and 50 cents if purchased in advance.

The drama club has a goal of selling at least 1000 dollars worth of tickets to Saturday's show.

Write a system of inequalities that can be used to model this scenario.

If 50 tickets are sold in advance, what is the minimum number of tickets that must be

sold at the door so that the club meets its goal?

Justify your answer.

In this problem we need to write the system of linear inequalities that models the scenario.

We also need to determine the minimum number of tickets that must be sold at the door if

50 tickets are sold in advance; lastly we need to justify our answer.

In order to find the system of linear inequalities we first need to determine our variables and

use the facts given in the problem to set up an algebraic relation between the chosen

variables and the quantities given.

We know from the problem that the drama club is selling tickets and the auditorium can

hold a maximum of 200 people.

From this fact we know that the total number of tickets sold has to be less than or equal

to 200.

We also know that there are two types of tickets those that cost 12 dollars and those that

cost 8 dollars and 50 cents so we can use two variables to represent the quantity of

each ticket in this case the variable x will represent the 12 dollar tickets and the variable

y will represent the 8 dollars and 50 cents tickets.

So the first relation can be written as x plus y is less than or equal to 200.

The problem also states that the club's goal is to sell at least 1000 dollars worth

of tickets.

This means that the monetary value of the tickets sold should be greater than or equal

1000.

To write an algebraic expression we take the number of each type of ticket sold and multiply

them with their respective cost in this case 12x plus 8.50y should be greater than or equal

to 1000.

So this is the system of inequalities that models this scenario.

Next, we need to determine the minimum number of tickets that must be sold at the door if

50 tickets were sold in advance.

For this scenario we are told that the number of tickets that cost 8 dollars and 50 cents

is equal to 50 this means that y is equal to 50.

We now need to use this value along with the linear inequality that models the cost, to

determine the number of 12-dollar tickets we need to meet the 1000 dollars fundraising

goal.

So we substitute the value of y with 50 and simplify the inequality, next we go ahead

and solve for x by subtracting 425 from both sides of the inequality, then we divide both

sides by 12 in the end we obtain x is greater than or equal to 48 after rounding to the

nearest whole number since we cannot sell a fractional portion of a ticket.

The total number of tickets is also well below the number of seats that the auditorium can

accommodate.

So the club has to sell 48 12-dollar tickets in order to meet their goal.

So this is our final answer.

There is a gray cloud following in my footste

It's obvious that I did not care about my life.

In my head appear moments that I left behind

It's late cuz I'm dead but alive...

Sorry, forgive me, I want to escape.

The words, waning, I do not want to suffer anymore

I was so hard, I rather die

I was a monster with you just let me go

I was so hard, I rather die

Why do not you leave me behind

What was the last word we had

On the future we wait that night

But everything turns to lies

Cuz in the end we left

Sorry, forgive me, I want to escape.

Moodle To Canvas - Duration: 5:06.

This short tutorial will show you or illustrate how to move or copy content from your Moodle Course to your Canvas Course

Before you begin, however, be sure that you've created your shell in Canvas where you'll be copying the contents to.

So, after you've logged into your Moodle course, scroll down to the bottom and on the left side of the page, click the "backup" link.

When you've clicked the "back-up" link, unselect anything to do with users. So where it says "Include enrolled users," deselect or unselect that.

So all the information that you want has nothing to do with users... just the content. So click the next button.

And scroll down to the bottom. Click next again.

Scroll down to the very bottom again, and hit "Perform backup." This may take a few seconds.

Now... it says "The backup file was successfully created." So click "continue."

And now you'll see that the backup files have been downloaded or appear here in the backup area.

So what you'll need to do is download this file to your computer. So click "download" and look for it in your download folder.

Okay, so there it is. So now, log into your Canvas account.

And locate the course where you want to copy the content ... ahhh your Moodle content to.

In this case, I want to copy it into a course shell that I've created. It's called Practice Course.

So I would access that course. I'll scroll down and click "Settings."

Now to the right of this page, there's a link that says "Import Content into this Course."

So you would click that. Where it says "Content Type," click Moodle.

Now where it says, "Source," choose the file. So in this case, go to your Downloads folder, select that Moodle file.

Click "Open." And where it says "Content" here, select "All Content" and hit "Import."

It may take a few seconds or a few minutes depending on how much content was in that course

So you can see, this process is "running" and it may take a few seconds, ahh or a few minutes. So let's give it a few seconds.

So, now it's done. Notice it says there are 2 issues. When you click "2 Issues," it will show you exactly what those issues are.

And these are the two issues. So make note of these two issues, ahh when you start to modify, adjust, or edit your course.

So, let's make sure that all the content has been copied into your Canvas shell.

So, the next thing that I would do is go to "Modules," and you can see the various Modules that have been copied over.

So this is probably the best place for you to start and start modifying or making adjustments to your course.

The next tutorial will show you how to make these adjustments.
