I was really looking forward to this moment!

driving the new countryman Works

In sunny Limburg (NL)

On these beautiful roads..

There was just one obstacle..

the new cooper S Plug In Hybrid

A car which I did not

look forward to..

But..

We started in the city centre of Maastricht

city traffic..

with that hybrid..

and after a few km's

It surprised me!

We've driven the normal Cooper S as well

with a 2.0 Turbo.

The hybrid has a 1.5 Turbo

with an electric motor

A bit like the BMW i8

But then with 224HP

136 petrol horses

and 88 electric

If you drive in the city

It mostly uses the electric engine

it feels torquey

and powerful..

It drives really nice

No sound..

really comfortable..

But when you need to merge

or take an exit

and you hit the throttle

You feel the 224 HP

and it then feels more powerful

than the normal cooper S

Which is fun!

What I don't like

They styled and positioned it

as a hybrid cooper S

But they've chosen

to give it just one exhaust tip

To make it look efficient as well

So aesthetically

I think it's better with two!

But that's not a big issue

So

it's a comfortable and nice car

for every day

And I think

a better car then the normal cooper S

It just coops better with the weight

the new Star Wars toys from the new 2017 movie the last Jedi's so let's go ahead

and take a look at some of these I'm sorry if the recording ain't perfect

there was about a hundred people shopping there so I have to sort of stay

out of people's way but these are the new toys so enjoy them

was it too much I would say there was a under different place so I'm sure

there's lot more that's a cool Millennium Falcon one

there's a cool bb-8 like playset so there was some cool stuff but other best

stuff was the lego ones ah like you've seen at the beginning of this video I

went ahead and showed you the Lego since I bought so I will be doing a stop

motion stop motion animation video using professional software to build those

sets right they will build themselves right in front of you it's gonna be

awesome so I'll keep watching my channel this is Saturday morning this one is

being released Saturday night I'm gonna have the first one which is kylo Ren TIE

fighter so that is a really cool set

and also they were giving out free t-shirts and a poster well here are the

Lego set I already showed you these in more detail they are really cool

and here they have three of the big lego sets already built in display case you

can see there was the leader smoke which was actually the first time that they

had him gonna said a big lie catnap Walker another one that sets I got that

one too I'll be putting together so they are some really awesome sets guys and

I'm gonna have a lot of fun building and here I'm making a second run at the toys

you seen earlier it's just there was less people so I had a little more time

and make like noises so it's a lot of fun

okay then here is another one of the really big Lego sets also from the same

last Jedi movie this is the first-order heavy assault Walker 75189 with 1376

pieces for this is a huge set so I guess it's similar to an app app fought much

more much bigger and more rugged and this comes with five characters you've

got ray resistance trooper captain Poe Dameron first-order Walker driver and

the first order storm let's check out the options

it looks totally awesome so there you have like a firing Gatling gun looks

like the pops off fires missiles from the head so you could rotate the front

to tab it legs here you've got so if you got like

a Popoff area where the stormtroopers could fire and then up there you've got

like an area that is like storing bombs so this guy is huge illegal company guys

you see that you see that guy popping off the other guys like riding there in

the head and then you see the characters on the bottom they're firing awesome

this and then you got the big one from the

same movie this is the biggest set the outlaw right now this is the first-order

Star Destroyer 75190 1416 pieces but it is also $160 so it's kind of limited who

could afford to buy that but ah this comes with the first order officer first

order shuttle pilot first order stormtrooper first order stormtrooper

sergeant supreme leader snoke which is the first

time they actually include him and then be b9e so hopefully Lego is gonna be

making ship of set of smokes actual shift because if you look online that

ship is huge the biggest ship in the Star Wars universe by far well let's

check out the options of this one so you got like a holographic image projector

looks like some type of elevator system flip the sides flip open you got a nice

big cockpit there that'll fit several characters it does fire a bunch of

179 so this one comes with kylo Ren BB 90 which is the evil bb-8 first order

stormtrooper and first order type pilot so cool so this is kylo Ren's TIE

fighter this is the first time it's in a Lego set so it does fire the missiles

there here is a sure of this set all complete with the

guys the cockpit opens and closes and their fires missiles here - cool let's

check out the other ones so here is the next one this is the lego star wars 1 ah

this is the resistance bomber 75 188 so it's really cool and it comes with five

characters you've got resistance bomber pilot resistance Bombardier vice-admiral

whole dough resistance gunner page in Poe Dameron cool so this is a pretty

decent sized set 780 pieces Ian let's go ahead and check out the options so you

go ahead and load in cannonballs there looks like the cockpit and area in the

back we put up you've got plenty of room to put the characters inside that from

gunner Park rotates you could drop the bombs

characters going in the cockpit they're so cool and here's a really cool graphic

picture of the whole set and then here is another cool set from the last Jedi

this is the resistance transport pod 75176 so it is a really cool looking like

battleship 294 pieces so it is one of the smaller sets and it comes with three

characters you've got ROS fin and bb-8 so you have bb-8 and then with the other

set you have the evil bb9 so let's go ahead and check out some of the options

it looks like a rotating cannon it does fire missiles it's got a place for a

bb-8 to sit and it's got a cockpit that'll fit both characters and here is

a really cool graphic picture of the entire set okay

and this is the actual t-shirt that we're handing out on force Friday - so

it has a Chewbacca and Ray on it and resistance symbol I'm not really sure

How to Paint Freehand Watercolor Flowers & Banner - Duration: 8:22.

- [Voiceover] Hi everyone Kristina here,

welcome to another video at my YouTube channel and vlog.

Apologize if my voice is a little scratchy today.

I'm gonna use a sentiment from the Kitty Stacks

stamp set from The Greeting Farm today.

And I'm just using the words,

I'm not gonna be using those cute images,

although I do want to make a card with

those Kitty Stack images at some point.

I'm just gonna stamp this hello there

in some VersaFine onyx black ink.

I'm stamping this on some Strathmore cold press

water color paper.

And then I'm going to use a pencil

and roughly draw out a banner shape.

So today's video is part of a blog hop

for my friend Kathy Racoosin.

She has a really fun coloring challenge

on her blog and Instagram a few times per year.

And throughout the month of September,

it is her coloring challenge.

It's the latest one and it's a 30 day coloring challenge.

And I've done some videos for her challenge

before in the past.

If you're new to it, it's basically just challenging you

to do some coloring every single day.

And whether that's just you know five minutes here and there

or if you want to do something a little bit more involved.

So I was looking for something to color.

But I really wanted to just paint some flowers.

So I'm going to take the coloring challenge for myself

and sort of extend it to challenge myself

to do more water color painting and coloring that way,

because I don't do a whole lot of freehand

water color painting.

Also because I'm mostly coloring images,

stamped images, or things for cards.

So I don't really challenge myself

artistically like that all the time.

And so I thought it would be kind of fun

to do that this month and see where it takes me.

So I've started out with some pink colors

and then now I'm bringing in some purple.

And the paints I'm using today are from Prima.

This is the tropical set and I haven't used

their watercolors in a while.

And I've forgotten how wonderful they are.

They're really really great watercolors

and I really like the colors.

I didn't have to do a ton of mixing of colors

for this particular piece here, but it was really fun.

OK so that dark purple was really dark.

If you notice them I came and sopped

some of that up with my brush.

I basically dried off my brush

and then brought it over to those areas

that had a lot of paint and picked it up

with the dry brush and it kind of sops up

all that extra paint so I was able to soften that color.

So now I'm going to paint some flowers.

And these are, I don't know if you wanna call 'em peonies,

or maybe almost roses.

They're not a real flower.

It's just kind of one that I've seen people paint,

and it's kind of my own take on it.

But basically you do a lot of C shapes.

And you wanna use the darkest like kind of

full strength color in the very center of the flower.

And then as you add additional C shapes moving out

and radiating out from the center of that flower,

you want to clean off your brush,

and just get a little bit of water,

and let it kind of touch that area

that has the most paint.

And then it kind of wicks away that color from the center.

That'll make even more sense in this next flower.

So like I said before I'm gonna start in the center,

just little C shapes, and I'm gonna clean off my brush.

And I'm gonna come back, and it still has a little bit

of the paint on it, it's just more diluted with water.

You can see that it's really pale.

But when I touch it to that really dark area,

it pulls that really saturated paint.

So this is the way you can get flowers

that have a more saturated center,

and then kind of fade out to more pale colors

on the outer petals.

So I'm adding more of these C shapes

and kind of filling in these gaps.

I'm gonna do one more flower,

I am gonna speed up the video process here though

while I paint it.

And I'm using kind of like a yellow gold shade.

Actually I'm not gonna speed up the painting,

I'm gonna show you this one more time.

I'm using a kind of a palish gold shade.

I mixed the kind of muted ochre shade

that's on the top row in the palette.

I mixed that with just a tiny bit of the purple

just to dull it back just a tiny bit.

Or actually no I mixed it with the brown.

There's a brown in this palette,

and it just softened it up a little bit.

I then dropped in just a tiny bit

of that reddish coral shade just to give the center

of that flower a little bit of something different.

So now I'm going to bring in some leaves.

And I've mixed a couple of different

colors of green for this.

And I'm basically pressing the brush,

I'm letting the brush really make the leaf shapes.

So really watch as I paint the leaves.

You'll see that I really press the bristles

of the brush down and they fan out,

and it creates a nice leaf shape.

So I'm gonna do that a few more times,

and you can see how I do that.

Pressing the brush down,

and I'm using those brush strokes to create leaves.

And I'm dropping in some other shades of green

just to keep this interesting.

Gonna add in some more leaves.

I'm gonna add more of that green shade.

I mostly just wanna make sure I have green

in a few different spots around this banner.

I don't want all the leaves all in one area,

so I am gonna kinda move around and add more elements.

Gonna add some berries, I really like to add berries.

They're a great way to add little pops of color in areas.

And then I made sort of like a bud of a flower

instead of a full blown flower and I just did that

with kind of like three little C shapes.

I'm gonna do another one of those buds

over on the other side of the banner as well.

I'm tryna decide what I'm doing here.

Then I decided I'm going to do a,

kind of a few different,

kind of like four different leaf shapes all together,

and then it creates a flower.

So I'll add in some leaves over there on that one side.

And I'm pretty much done with this.

I'm just going to darken up that banner just a little bit.

It was looking a little bit pale for me.

So I thought I'd bring in a little bit more purple

at the very bottom of that banner,

just to add a little bit more shading.

So I'm gonna do ahead and dry this.

And I'm gonna move on with the rest of my card.

Trimming down that water color piece

so that it is five inches wide by three and 3/4 tall.

And then I'm taking some Neenah desert storm card stock

and I'm scoring that at five and a half

to create a side folding card.

I put some foam tape on the back of my watercolor panel.

And then I'll press that down onto the card front.

And I did wanna mention that the watercolor paper

I'm using today is a five by seven precut.

And I didn't know entirely what I was doing with this piece

when I painted it so it just worked out

that it was kind of centered in that area.

So now I'm gonna use the Starry Colors

Gansai Tambi palette from Zig.

And I've just mixed up that light gold color

and I'm going to drop in some little circles of color.

I'm being very minimalist with this,

or very sparse with these gold shades

because I don't want it to overtake all of those

really soft pale colors from the flowers.

I did switch to a really small paintbrush,

and add some stripes on that shaded area on the banner.

I think if I was to do this again,

I probably would've skipped that,

'cause it doesn't really add to the card,

but it was just kind of a fun element.

So that's the card for today.

New Star Wars The Last Jedi Force Friday II 2 Toys Lego Sets Midnight opening Toys R Us

Jedi movie keep watching as we go ahead and take a look at these six sets and we

go to Toys R Us for force Friday to the midnight opening so I had a lot of fun

there free t-shirt free poster guys it was really cool and keep watching to see

these six awesome sets and the trip to the store all the new toys from the last

Jedi movie that comes out in 2017 okay you guys it's almost midnight Here I am

outside the doors of Toys R Us for force Friday 2 or force friday II - we're gonna go ahead and see

the new Star Wars toys from the new 2017 movie the last Jedi's so let's go ahead

and take a look at some of these I'm sorry if the recording ain't perfect

there was about a hundred people shopping there so I have to sort of stay

out of people's way but these are the new toys so enjoy them

was it too much I would say there was a under different place so I'm sure

there's lot more that's a cool Millennium Falcon one

there's a cool bb-8 like playset so there was some cool stuff but other best

stuff was the lego ones ah like you've seen at the beginning of this video I

went ahead and showed you the Lego since I bought so I will be doing a stop

motion stop motion animation video using professional software to build those

sets right they will build themselves right in front of you it's gonna be

awesome so I'll keep watching my channel this is Saturday morning this one is

being released Saturday night I'm gonna have the first one which is kylo Ren TIE

fighter so that is a really cool set

and also they were giving out free t-shirts and a poster well here are the

Lego set I already showed you these in more detail they are really cool

and here they have three of the big lego sets already built in display case you

can see there was the leader smoke which was actually the first time that they

had him gonna said a big lie catnap Walker another one that sets I got that

one too I'll be putting together so they are some really awesome sets guys and

I'm gonna have a lot of fun building and here I'm making a second run at the toys

you seen earlier it's just there was less people so I had a little more time

so

set you have the evil bb9 so let's go ahead and check out some of the options

it looks like a rotating cannon it does fire missiles it's got a place for a

bb-8 to sit and it's got a cockpit that'll fit both characters and here is

a really cool graphic picture of the entire set okay

it has a Chewbacca and Ray on it and resistance symbol I'm not really sure
