Pick the Most Beautiful Flower and Learn an Astounding Secret of Your Personality - Duration: 6:04.

Pick the Most Beautiful Flower and Learn an Astounding Secret of Your Personality

Flowers are one of the most beautiful and symbolic things that nature brings.

Additionally, we have learned that aside from having medicinal properties, flowers are recognized to have many different meanings.

Pick the Most Beautiful Flower and Learn an Astounding Secret of Your Personality

Similar to an amaryllis you also come to life around Christmas time. In a while before the holidays you get up and start organizing a remarkable party for your loved ones.

You're always bounded by friends, not just because you're a fantastic entertainer but also because you're always there for them.

Most of the time, you have the right words to console them and you have great advice for any problem; be it big small. This flower symbolizes superb beauty and is often used to signify worth beyond beauty.

Akin to a lily, you have tons of energy. Your powerful impression draws people towards you. You motivate people with your energy and imagination. Things wouldn't be as much enjoyable without you.

The Lily also signifies cleanliness and sophisticated beauty. You're best described as positive, inquisitive and courageous. Though you're always enthusiastic to start a new project, you're not always great on following through as you prefer to come up with great concepts and leave the hard labor to other people.

Just like a rose you're gorgeous and can show your thorns if somebody gets too close to you. People love being around you because you don't beat about the bush and utter what you think.

Aside from that, this flower also shows that you're sociable, courageous and a very genuine person. You're always organizing for the future and you have huge plans for yourself.

You know what you want and you're not scared to go after it but keep in mind that sometimes you have to take a moment to breathe and delight in the present.

The black rose is an uncommon plant and distinctive just like you. No one can duplicate you because you're simply one of a kind and this is what makes you extraordinarily valuable!

You think in a different way than everyone else and you're always a leader and never a follower.

You attract people to you but you are exceptionally independent and you tend to depend on yourself and not on other people.

Nevertheless, keep in mind that sometimes it's okay to let people in.

Tulip signifies prominence and perfect love and you represent both. You're well-known for your warm heart and affectionate nature but can be run by your emotions and be very subtle.

When you fall in love, you love with your whole heart and you tend to be with your significant other for life. Always keep in mind how wonderful you are and don't let your anxieties get in the way.

Similar to an orchid you feel at home anyplace in the world. The queen of flowers is reflected as one of the most beautiful flowers.

You have one thing in common: you both are truthfully astonishing. The orchid signifies delighted and splendid femininity – important pieces of your personality.

You work hard and always reach your goals because you put in 110%. You're a natural problem solver – your friends often come to you for advice.

There are times that you feel like you don't fit in but that is because you were born to be notable!

20 Things to do in Glasgow, Scotland Travel Guide - Duration: 12:48.

In today's video we're going to be showing you around Glasgow, Scotland.

This is a city that we visited last autumn and then again this summer, and on both visits,

we ate like kings and queens because it turns out, Glasgow is a great destination for foodies.

Since we never got around to making a travel guide on our first visit, today we're going

to be combining the footage from both of those trips to show you some of the best things

to do in Glasgow and also some of the best places to eat and drink it.

So let's get started!

So I'm excited for this next attraction we're actually going into the Kelvingrove Art Gallery

and Museum and last time we were in Glasgow (Glesga) it was closed.

I think we got here a little bit too early and we had other things scheduled so we totally

missed it.

So yeah, this time we're checking it out.

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is divided into two main sections.

On the right-hand side you have the museum which focuses on natural history, world cultures,

and archaeology; and then on the left-hand side you have the art gallery which showcases

paintings, furniture, and Scottish art, which makes it very easy to explore based on your

interests.

While I found myself drawn to the museum side, it wasn't long before I was lured over to

the art gallery by the Floating Heads, a one of a kind installation that's hard to miss!

So that was a really cool experience.

I am so glad we got to do it this time around.

Yeah.

And it is the kind of attraction where you'll want to budget a few hours because it is big

inside.

And it has a very eclectic mix of different galleries.

So we just finished visiting the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and it is just a skip

and a hop over to Glasgow University so we couldn't resist coming back seriously look

around.

It looks like the set of Harry Potter.

Even though it is probably not.

Tada.

The University of Glasgow was founded in 1451 and it's one of Scotland's 4 ancient universities.

With that in mind, you can count on some amazing architecture especially around the cloisters.

Seeing as it was almost lunch time, we hopped in a taxi and rode across town to the Drygate

Brewery.

This is a place that I had been to on our last trip to Glasgow (Glaschu).

This time around, we signed up for the "Through the Glass Tour" for a quick lesson on the

art of brewing, and while we were at it, we paired our beers with lunch.

So it is right around lunchtime and we have just arrived at the Drygate Brewery here in

Glasgow and we're going to be doing a through the glass tour.

So our beer has actually arrived.

Let me lift this for you.

How cool is this?

And when I'm talking through the glass check out that.

These are oh yeah.

That is through the glass.

So cool.

Through the glass literally.

In total we sampled 4 beers; my favourite was called Disco Forklift Truck, and it was

a pale ale that was fruity and tropical thanks to someone's genius idea to add mango juice

Then for food, I had fish and chips, and Audrey went for something a little bit more adventurous.

I got Ox Cheek.

And I've only had Ox Cheek once before in Laos in Luang Prabang.

Yep.

And I really enjoyed it.

I haven't seen it on a menu since.

So I figured you know what?

You're going to make a sandwich for us.

Yeah.

My work of art.

Let's see how it tastes.

I'm just going to have the Ox first.

Hahaha.

You've got a giant piece of leaf.

What do you think?

Good?

It is really nice.

Is it?

It has a nice sweetness to it.

Okay.

And it kind of looks like pulled pork.

Yeah.

So yeah, the meat just breaks apart.

Super tender.

Really really good.

I can't wait to try that.

Our adventures continued the following day with an amazing meal at A'Chailltain in

the heart of The Barras.

It is time for food again and today we're at BAD which stands for Barras Art and Design.

And it is a really cool space.

For starters there is art everywhere.

They have these amazing murals.

But also once you go inside you have like little shops, restaurants, bars.

Sometimes they have art exhibitions, they host music gigs, markets.

So it is really cool.

It is a versatile space but now let's go see if our food is ready.

Yeah, we've come here for lunch.

Well the appetizers are here and it looks amazing.

We went for the risotto with squid ink and seabass.

So I'm going to dig right in.

That does look amazing.

I love risotto.

Oh my gosh.

Chives.

Mmmm.

Isn't that good?

And I love risotto too.

That is actually what I've ordered as my main coming later.

Then Sam ordered the roasted red pepper pearl barley risotto for the main, and I had the

lamb leg steak with baby carrots, beetroots, and turnips.

It was a fantastic meal!

Next up, it was time to check out the gin scene and for this, we visited the Glasgow

Gin Distillery over on the Southside.

We got to tour the place, learn a bit more about gin production, and then at the very

end, it was time for the good stuff: a gin tasting!

So we're the Glasgow Distillery Company.

Glasgow's first single malt distillery in over 110 years.

Since 1902.

And we are a proud crafters of Glasgow's only Gin.

Makar original gin.

Time for the gin tasting.

You're used to having that with tonic.

I am it is quite strong on its own.

But yeah, it has got a nice aroma.

Obviously, juniper berries dominate here.

But it is nice.

Fragrant.

Aromatic.

Floral.

Later that evening, we went on a do it yourself food crawl where we visited a few different

bars and restaurants along Finnieston, which is in the city's west end.

First up, we visited The Drugstore Social, a bar that is set in an old-fashioned pharmacy.

I've ordered myself something called the heartbeat.

And it has arrived.

Viola!

So describe it.

I'm going to read you the ingredients because I don't know my alcohols that well.

But this one is a beetroot infused mezcal with sake so that is an interesting mix.

We've got Mexico and Japan happening in this drink.

Yeah.

Check it out.

And it has a big cube of ice.

And it kind of looks like a heart honestly.

Yeah, yeah.

Sam chose the Goodnight Kiss, which had pisco and coconut liqueur - I liked his drink the

best.

And then we ordered one more drink.

So this next one.

Yes, we got a third drink it is called Smoke and the Water.

And it was a really dramatic drink.

Like they bring the glass flipped upside down and out comes the smoke.

And then they reveal the smoke.

Um, so yeah I've already poured myself a little bit.

That looks good.

It smells nice.

Mmm.

Is it good?

Ooh.

That is good.

Yeah.

Thank you.

Our second stop of the night was The Finnieston, which specializes in gin and seafood.

Audrey tried her first oysters, and then we had a couple more drinks, as you do.

Next drink of choice is the martini.

But look at how they serve it here.

This is so creative.

This is the alcohol and they keep it chilled it in this large glass with ice and once you're

ready you just keep topping up your glass.

Just pour a little in.

Got a little cucumber.

And yeah, this is a lot of fun.

Lastly, to wrap up the night, we went to Porter & Rye for dinner, this is a steakhouse specializing

in aged beef.

Alright, we've had drinks, we've had appetizers.

Now it is time for dinner.

We've popped over to Porter and Rye where the thing to order is steak.

We've ordered two different steaks.

Yes.

This one right in front of me has been aged for 50 days.

And the one in front of Sam has been aged for over 100 days.

So this is a first for me.

I have never ordered an aged steak before.

So let's just dig right in and see what it tastes like.

Completely new culinary experience happening over here.

Mmmmm.

Is it good?

Does it tastes different?

It is very tender.

Yeah?

You taste the beef.

I mean I feel like it kind of enhances the flavors.

It intensifies it a little bit.

But yeah, this is really good.

Cooked medium rare which I think is to perfection.

Mmmmm.

Good stuff huh?

This is wonderful.

And for our last breakfast in town, we ate at Cafe Gandolfi, a cozy spot that serves

up a delicious breakfast.

I went for the Gandolfi Vegetarian Breakfast with halloumi and field mushrooms, and it

was amazing!

Now that we've shown you what we got up to on our most recent visit to Glasgow (Glesga), let's

rewind to last year's trip.

One of the first places we visited was the Glasgow Botanic Garden in the city's west

end.

My favourite part of the garden was the Kibble Palace, which is a 19th-century wrought iron

glasshouse, which features beautiful sculptures amidst the foliage.

For a completely different vibe, we also hit up Buchanan Street, one of the main shopping

thoroughfares in Glasgow (Glaschu).

We were there on a weekend so it was full of shoppers and buskers, and it was buzzing.

And right along Buchanan Street, we came across the Willow Tea Rooms where we had a little

afternoon tea.

So what are we up to on this sunny day?

So on the southside of Glasgow you can get out into nature and we're just exploring the

countryside and apparently there is going to be some hairy coos we can spot.

Hairy coos.

Yeah.

Let's go find them.

And just a short drive from there, we visited House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park,

where they have some cool sculptures around the garden.

We also visited Glasgow Cathedral and the nearby Necropolis, which is a Victorian cemetery

located on a hill just east of the cathedral.

And not too far from there, you also have Glasgow Green, a nice park in the city's east

end that is also home to the People's Palace, which tells the story of the city and it's

people.

And last but not least, it was on this trip that we discovered one of our favourite restaurants

in Glasgow: The Crafty Pig.

This place specializes in pulled pork sandwiches, delicious fries, and the most decadent of

milkshakes, so we found ourselves going back time and again.

So Glasgow is a city for foodies.

There is so much great food and today we're bringing you to one of our favorite restaurants

The Crafty Pig.

Basically everything on the menu is amazing and we've only been here a few days but we

just keep coming back and we're going to show you why.

Take a look at this main.

Dudes, this is the pulled pork sandwich bun.

Oh my gosh.

This is amazing.

Like take a look at that.

Can you see that pulled pork.

Yes, I've tried it before and it is mouth watering.

You know what just so I can show you guys what the pulled pork looks like I'm just going

to take it out like this and take a bite.

Mmmmmm.

How amazing is that?

Magic.

That is magic in the mouth.

And that's a wrap for our visit to Glasgow, Scotland.

We loved our two visits and we'd gladly return for a third.

This is an amazing city for foodies and there are so many great bars, restaurants, breweries,

and distilleries to visit.

Also for your information if you're already visiting Edinburgh, Glasgow is just a short

50-minute train ride away, and it's a city with its own unique vibe.

Now you guys know the drill, if there are any other fun things to do in Glasgow that

you'd like to share with travellers, feel free to leave your suggestions in the comments

below.

In the meantime, wishing you happy travels and until next time!

Ordnance Factory Board expects to order for 700 more T 90S in 2018 - Duration: 1:50.

India's state-owned Ordnance Factory Board (OFB) expects to receive an order in early

2018 to licence-build a total of 700 T-90S main battle tanks (MBTs) for the Indian Army

(IA) by 2022, R K Khanna, the OFB's director general, told Jane's on 15 September at

the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2017 exhibition in London.

The order will provide the IA with enough tanks to equip two new regiments and replace

the retired T-55 MBTs. The move will also allow the OFB to increase its production share

of the tank to 96% by manufacturing most of the electronics and mission systems, said

Khanna, adding that a few essential elements will remain with external suppliers for the

time being.

The OFB has completed a technology transfer from Russia for the tank, which is designated

the Bhishma in Indian service, and is already capable of manufacturing 74% of it without

external assistance.

The order, which is expected to be placed in April next year, will require a maximum

capacity effort to produce 140 tanks a year and meet the completion date in 2022, Khanna

added.

Plans are also afoot for the 'Bhishma 2', which is a comprehensive upgrade programme

proposed for the T-90S and also forms part of the 700 platform order. The upgrade will

include the installation of a new panoramic sight and fire-control system for the tank

commander, along with the installation of a completely digital architecture to ensure

that the tank can be upgraded in the future.

Crazy Facts You Didn't know About Giraffes - Duration: 6:10.

If look at a giraffe long enough, you'll start to suspect there's no way it can actually

exist.

With those long necks, spindly legs, and weird tongues, they look like they defy at least

a couple laws of biology and maybe even one or two from physics.

But they do exist, and it turns out there's more weird stuff going on with them than you

think.

Here are some crazy facts you didn't know about giraffes.

Giraffe lullaby

Giraffes sleep so little it was once believed they didn't even sleep at all.

In the 1990s, however, the University of Zurich spent 152 nights watching eight giraffes sleep

and discovered they get their Z's in bursts ranging from 35 minutes to as little as one

minute.

Usually they sleep standing, but sometimes they do lay down to get much needed REM sleep,

curling up in a position that makes them look extra cute.

So what do they do at night instead of sleeping?

Well, they hum.

But they do it at such a low frequency, many people can't even hear it.

The human hearing range runs from about 20 hertz up to 20,000 hertz, with a giraffe's

hum barely registering at frequencies as low as 35 hertz.

Researchers have no idea why giraffes hum or if the sound has any meaning.

But knowing that they do it sure is creepy!

Those crazy necks

You've probably wondered why giraffes have such insanely long necks.

And you're going to have to keep wondering, because nobody actually knows.

It was believed for a long time that giraffes evolved those huge necks so they could more

easily graze on treetops, but it turns out they actually prefer eating from lower shrubs,

which makes the neck a liability instead of a benefit.

Some scientists now think those necks evolved because male giraffes get in violent necking

fights to determine primacy, but that theory isn't widely believed either.

So for now, it's a big mystery.

One thing we know: it's not designed for urban travel.

But because their necks are so long, giraffes have had to evolve special circulatory systems.

The walls of their hearts are extra thick to deal with increased blood pressure, while

a giraffe's blood vessels can expand and contract, and also contain valves to make sure the blood

flows in the right direction even when they bend their huge necks.

And they need it: a human exposed to the same kind of pressure change would pass out.

Giraffes through history

Julius Caesar brought the very first giraffe to Europe in 46 BC, and according to contemporary

records, the creature was so mellow it was walked like a dog on a leash.

The Romans gave it the name camelopardalis, because they thought it looked like half camel,

half leopard.

The fate of Caesar's giraffe wasn't recorded, but by the second century AD, giraffes were

being killed for sport in the gladiator arenas, because those people were monster jerks.

Giraffes were treated a lot better in China after being brought to the country by an expedition

in the year 1413.

That's because the Chinese believed giraffes to be the mythical qilin, a beast said to

be part horse and part dragon, with one to three horns, a deer's body, an ox's tail,

cloven hooves, and a gentle nature.

So, y'know, they weren't wrong.

The emperor Yongle even kept a giraffe around to legitimize his shaky claim on the throne,

because having a legendary mythical beast in your entourage is always dope, right?

Giraffe sex

If you haven't spent much time thinking about giraffes having sex, well, we're about to

change that.

Unlike many animal species, giraffes don't have mating seasons.

Instead, female giraffes are potentially fertile all year long.

Male giraffes figure out whether or not their potential mate is fertile by tasting their

pee.

And if they can't find a mate?

No problem, as male giraffes have been noted for their high rate of same sex encounters.

Once a female giraffe does get pregnant, though, it's a real process, as the gestation period

can last up to 460 days.

And birth takes place standing up, so babies are just dropped from a height of six feet.

Pow!

Welcome to the world, kid!

One problem with giraffe sex, however, is that there are actually four subspecies of

giraffes, and they only interbreed while in captivity.

That's because weather differences put each species on a slightly different seasonal breeding

cycle, so they're just not horny at the same time.

That exclusivity has become an issue, as the giraffe population has declined by as much

as 40 percent over the last 30 years due to — you guessed it — people killing them.

It's estimated there are now fewer than 100,000 giraffes left in the wild, and the Rothschild's

giraffe is on the endangered species list with fewer than 700 left in the world.

The white giraffe

In 2015, Wild Nature Institute reported seeing a newborn giraffe in the Tarangire National

Park in Tanzania.

She wasn't an ordinary giraffe, though.

Thanks to a condition called leucism, her skin doesn't produce color but other parts

— like her eyes — still do.

Tour guides named her Omo, and s he's beaten some serious odds.

She'd had about a 50-50 chance of seeing her six-month birthday even as a regular, boring

old giraffe.

And her awesomely unique appearance made those chances even worse, since she became a target

for both human and animal predators.

So when she was seen again in 2016, people were pretty excited.

You go, little Omo!

We're all rooting for you.

Giraffes in SPACE

In the 1980s, NASA was having problems with astronauts returning from space, as the increased

gravity on Earth was pulling blood down to their lower extremities, leading to fainting

and dizziness.

Enter the giraffe!

According to Mental Floss, a physiologist named Alan Hargens realized baby giraffes

suffer through the same problems when they're born, and he and his colleagues studied their

blood vessels as inspiration for creating the Lower Body Negative Pressure Device.

NASA also studied the circulatory system of adult giraffes to design space suits that

could adapt better to different gravitational forces.

To boldly go where no giraffe has gone before...

The Threat to Space Travel That No One's Talking About - Duration: 3:57.

We first covered space junk way back in December 2012, things have changed around here, but

in space?

They've only gotten worse.

There are more than half-a-million pieces of pieces of space junk floating around above

you, totalling over 7,500 tons [6.8M kg] of stuff.

It's not just spent rocket stages, or dead satellites.

There are bolts, flecks of paint, bits of shrapnel… and no matter the size, they're

all going thousands of meters per second waiting to collide with something important!

Size doesn't really matter.

There are more than 20,000 pieces of space debris larger than a softball, but so many,

about 500,000, are just marble-or-larger-sized pieces.

If any of these hit a spacecraft, they could cause some serious damage.

So, we have to clean it up.

And when we talk about cleaning up space we really mean one thing: nudging fast-moving

space debris so it falls into Earth's atmosphere.

From there, friction with the air will burn it up or it can fall into the sea.

But that's not easy.

Any spacecraft planning to de-orbit some junk will have to: match the target's orbit,

burn fuel to catch up to the speed of the junk, then grab it (which could be hard if

it's tumbling out of control), then burn more fuel to slow down the now two spacecrafts,

and put them both into a decaying orbit that will cause the burn up or splashdown of the

junk.

Whew.

The European Space Agency is diving into this problem headfirst -- launching a new robot

spacecraft in 2024.

It's called e dot deorbit.

Pronounced e-deorbit.

The ESA's craft will have a robotic arm (or maybe a net -- they're still planning

this one out) and will catch one of their 8-ton derelict satellites.

From there they can slow, redirect and burn it up.

They're not the only ones thinking a net would be the way to go.

A new space-junk-cleaner-upper called Brane Craft takes this way further.

It's basically just a membrane of solar panels and plastic with tiny rockets.

Like Aladdin's carpet!

The 1-meter square craft is designed to envelop and redirect smaller pieces of junk.

But you get all that.

The incredible thing is just how thin it is!!

It's essentially the thinnest possible design… two special Kapton plastic membranes with

the fuel for the ionic liquid thrusters trapped in the 10 micron-wide gap between the 'branes!

The total weight?

35 GRAMS.

They could stack these like pizzas and launch them all at once.

It's ingenious.

But of course, is still in planning stages.

Which is why this last one is the most exciting, for us at least.

The D-Sat is a tiny Italian-made cubesat launched on an Indian rocket in June 2017.

It's basically a cubesat with a d-orbit decommissioning device or D3 on it.

The D3 is like a death engine!

It has independent communications and power systems and that way sat manufacturers can

slap this little box on their satellites -- pre-planning for the sat's death.

Once the sat is dead, the D3 powers up and sends the craft to Davey Jones.

It's not a solution to the junk up there now, but could reduce for future junk.

Of course, these are only proof-of-concepts.

That big ESA mission?

The 2024 launch is just a test… to see if a net is the way to go, and how best to burn

up the tech… then (maybe) a private company will take on the challenge!

And let's hope they do.

There are tons of other plans out there, these are just some of the more fun ones.

According to Benjamin Bastida, space junk expert for the ESA: even if we stopped going

to space… in 200 years large pieces will break into hundreds of thousands of pieces.

This could potentially make space unusable!

Luckily for us, some of the most creative, and perspicacious minds on the planet are

working this shiz out.

Even if we stop going to space now, we'll still have to deal with all this.

So, do you have a favorite plan to stop space junk?

Tell us about it in the comments.

Did you know Mars could maybe have an atmosphere again?

There's a craaaazy NASA plan to do just that -- watch our video about it here.

I really love this video.

Republicans Vote To Keep Trump's Tax Returns Hidden From The World - Duration: 3:56.

In a very under reported story from last week, Republicans in the House of Representatives

on the Ways and Means Committee voted to shield Donald Trump's tax returns once again from

the American public.

The vote in committee was strictly along party lines.

All of the Democrats, who were in the minority wanted to release the tax returns, all of

the Republicans, the majority, said absolutely not.

The argument here is that Republicans say that Donald Trump, if we release his tax returns,

if we force him to release his tax returns, well that's a pretty gross invasion of privacy

and the party that brought us the Patriot Act and allowed the NSA to spy on every single

one of us, they wouldn't want to invade somebody's privacy, would they?

The Democrats, on the other hand have correctly pointed out that Donald Trump, as President

of the United States is not a private citizen and there are different legal thresholds for

the right to privacy over someone who is serving has the President of the United States.

Nonetheless, Republicans voted to block these tax returns from ever making it to the public

and the big question is why?

Well, we know one reason.

There is likely evidence within those tax returns that's going to point to some pretty

shady stuff that Donald Trump has done.

Maybe not illegal, I'm not saying it's definitely illegal, but probably pretty shady and unsavory

and things he doesn't want the public to know, otherwise he would have released them or it's

going to show that's he's not worth as much as he claims and it's going to hurt his ego.

There's something hiding in those tax returns, otherwise they would have been released.

Again, that's not necessarily the question of why are the Republicans doing this.

The reason I want to know why the Republicans are doing this is because Donald Trump treats

them like crap.

He has been nothing but a bully to this Republicans.

He berates them all the time on Twitter, during interviews, every opportunity he gets and

yet they are still so loyal to this guy who's so mean to them that they won't even force

him to release those tax returns.

God, that is a level of loyalty that even money can't buy.

Either that, or it's a level of stupidity that only exists in the mind of a Republican

because these people are not ... Donald Trump is not going to protect them if something

happens to them.

We already know that Steve Bannon is trying to primary a lot of Republicans because he

wants people that are going to move further to the right.

Donald Trump has no power without the House of Representatives and the Senate and as long

as he continues to berate them, but they still protect him, Trump has nothing to worry about,

but if these collective Republicans somehow find a spine, they could take him down in

a matter of weeks.

They could be the people who come out and save the country from Donald Trump, instead

of emerging from this as cowards, as the people whose party put Trump in office and then subsequently

went down hill from there, they could be the people who step up and get him out of office

and then get viewed as heroes by the American public, but they're too stupid and too spineless

to realize that.

That is why they're going to take the constant bullying and the constant abuse from Donald

Trump because they don't know any better, when in realty they hold all of the power

to take this man out of office, they're just too stupid to know how to use it.

13 SLEEP HACKS To Fall Asleep Fast! - Duration: 9:12.

13 Sleep Hacks To Fall Asleep Fast

13.

Keep your room cold- It's obvious that if it's too hot in your room, your body will

try to regulate its temperature resulting in wasted energy and leaving you to toss and

turn the whole night.

But sleeping in a cooler environment will help you fall asleep faster because your body

isn't trying to regulate itself and can contribute to decreasing insomnia too.

Sleeping in temperatures between 60 to 68 degrees allows your body to release melatonin

and also reduces the risk for diabetes over time.

The best method to keep cool is to purchase a programmable thermostat, since running the

AC the whole year isn't the smartest option.

But a programmable thermostat allows your home temperature to alter throughout the day.

12.

Drink chamomile tea- Not only does chamomile tea help you sleep better at night but it

also helps you lose weight at the same time.

Chamomile is a natural detoxifier and helps get rid of the body's excess water, toxins

and waste.

It helps reduce bloating and stress too.

Some benefits of drinking chamomile tea include decreasing anxiety, inducing food cravings

and minimizing stress.

Since it is a herbal tea and contains no caffeine, this is a natural remedy.

When making tea just be sure to keep the flavor smooth.

Also don't drink too much as a full bladder can cause you to wake up and use the restroom

in the middle of the night.

For the best results, drink a cup an hour or an hour and a half before your designated

bedtime.

11.

Use a breathing technique- Set aside at least five minutes before sleeping to practice the

4-7-8 breathing technique.

Also known as "The Relaxing Breath," it is based off an ancient Indian practice that

promotes better sleep.

Translating to "regulation of breath," it helps transition the body into a state

of relaxation and calmness.

This five step procedure is easy and can be completed anywhere.

It is recommended that you sit straight forward with you back straight.

Now place the tip of your tongue on the ridge of tissue behind your front upper teeth for

the whole time.

You will be exhaling through your tongue and mouth.

Start by exhaling completely through your mouth, making a whooshing noise.

Then close your mouth and inhale through your nose for four seconds.

Then for seven seconds, hold your breath.

Afterward, exhale thoroughly through your mouth, making a whooshing sound for eight

seconds.

Now in one breath, inhale and repeat the cycle again for three more times equaling a total

of four breaths.

10.

Read a book before bed- Between binge watching on Netflix and the constant notifications

on your iPad, it is quickly forgotten how beneficial it is to read a good book before

bedtime.

In a 2009 study done by the University of Exeter, it was discovered that reading was

quicker and more efficient at minimizing stress than walking or listening to music.

So by clicking off that tv and reading a good novel is an excellent way to get a restful

night's sleep.

It also doesn't matter what kind of book you read either.

By allowing yourself to escape and get into the mind of the author's imagination can

help relax you and put your mind at peace.

In addition, reading reduces the body's cortisol levels.

At an all time high, cortisol can create chronic stress leading to fatigue.

So by reading before sleeping, it also allows you to cope with tomorrow's stressors more

calmly.

9.

Snack healthy before sleeping- A late night snack before bed never hurt anybody right?

But you might want to think twice about what you're eating before hitting the sack as

some foods could mean the difference between staying up all night and getting a good night's

sleep.

Contrary to popular belief, many people might sip on a glass of wine before bed, but while

alcohol does help you to doze off, it disrupts deep sleep.

Also, avoid spicy food like curry or pepper than makes it harder for your body to regulate

temperature.

Cut out any fatty foods that make it difficult to digest and can cause heartburn.

Some foods that are perfect for snacking before bed include bananas, which are chock full

of magnesium and contain melatonin and serotonin, encouraging sleep.

Almonds boost steady heart rhythms and cut down on nerve function.

Oats like oatmeal are great for promotion insulin production and full of vitamins and

minerals while one teaspoon of honey can help you wind down by shutting off orexin, which

keeps us alert.

8.

Set a regular bedtime- Between hanging out with friends, spending time with family and

other side projects, getting 7 hours of sleep a night can be hard to achieve.

While you might think that getting enough sleep through the evening is important, it's

not quite that simple.

Inconsistency on what time you sleep is just as bad as not getting enough sleep.

In fact, getting some shut eye at different times confuses your body and with inconsistent

bed and wake times results in people missing out on critical stages of the sleep cycles.

So a few hours before going to sleep, give yourself some time to unwind since the body

is still recuperating from work or dinner.

By setting a regular bedtime routine, this will help your body slow down and get ready

to sleep.

You can also set a bedtime alarm as a warning to head to bed.

This consistency indicates that your brain is conditioned to feel sleepy at a certain

time each day, making it much easier to sleep.

7.

Eliminate the caffeine- This is an obvious tip.

Everyone knows that to get a good night's slumber, it's best to avoid drinking caffeinated

beverages.

In the morning, you might need a hot cup of coffee or a Red Bull to help kick start the

day, but how late in the day is it be consuming caffeine before bedtime?

To be safe, stick to a 2 o'clock cut off time.

Late afternoon consumption can disrupt sleeping patterns.

So if you have to down a cup of joe, make sure to drink it before 2 pm hits.

Also, start off your day with the most highly caffeinated drink and go easy on the caffeine

as the day goes on.

You can switch to tea for an easy transition but be caffeine free by mid-afternoon.

Lastly, skip the large drinks!

Supersized energy beverages might be a simple fix to wake you up, but a 20 plus ounce soda

or Monster delivers twice as much stimulant than normal.

It's best to stick to an 8-ounce cup instead.

6.

Shut off any electronics- In a technology driven world, it can be hard to set aside

any cellphones, tablets, computers or electronic gadgets.

Especially during bedtime, checking an email or text is one click away but surfing the

web or playing a videogame is affecting your sleep more than you think.

The blue light transmitting off your electronics limits melatonin production.

This makes it difficult to fall asleep.

Also, the technology can manipulate your brain into thinking that it needs to stay up.

Give yourself a moment to step back and get settled into the night.

Plus keeping your cell phone next to your bedside can also keep you up, due to the alerts

of calendar reminders and phone calls.

So do yourself a favor and keep the technology used to a minimum for better sleep quality.

Your body might just thank you!

5.

Practice yoga before sleeping- Yoga is a great way to release tension and slow down our nervous

system.

Not only does it lower our stress levels but it's an effective sleep remedy as certain

poses can help fight insomnia and restlessness.

Even if you don't have time to make it to yoga class, you can try these simple poses

at home.

It can't get easier than the corpse pose.

It focuses the attention of the body and your breathing allowing you to take your mind off

stress and bring in awareness to yourself instead.

The easy forward bend is suitable for beginners.

You can sit on top of a pillow if it helps.

But it opens up tension in the hip area and calms the body.

The reclining butterfly aids the body to get into rest mode.

You can lay down a blanket and apply one hand to your heart and the other hand on your stomach.

Breath deeply while focusing on breathing in and pushing the breath out of your body.

4.

Purchase some black out curtains- Complete darkness is one of the best ways to get some

great sleep, but once the sun comes peeping through your window, it can be hard to go

back to sleep.

Aside from keeping the dark in, black out curtains provide a little extra warmth and

prevent any onlookers too.

Exposure to light activates a nerve pathway from the retina to the brain.

Similar to an internal clock, it alerts the body to wake up.

Even the smallest amount of light can suppress melatonin in the body, which is why a simple

flick of the light switch or cell phone lighting can awake us immediately.

3.

Take a hot shower- A hot shower in the morning is a wonderful way to wake you up and ignite

creativity.

However, taking a shower at night is also a good way to de-stress and unwind.

But the most important tip is to not shower too late into the evening.

You don't want to heat up your body right before sleep because your body's temperature

plays a crucial role in telling your body when it's time to sleep.

Showering earlier in the evening can trigger your body to relax and gives it a chance to

cool off.

As a bonus, not only do night time showers clear your skin and minimize breakouts but

a 20-minute shower is just as effective as taking a sleep aid.

Time your shower at least about an hour and a half before hitting the sack so by the time

you're snug in bed, you'll be dry and cool when you sleep.

2.

Nap intelligently- While you might think taking a quick nap can help you catch up some z's,

napping at the wrong time or napping for too long can hurt you more than help you.

Sleep occurs during stages, and when we dream, our brain has a harder time waking up.

Even sleeping for 25 minutes to an hour can make us tired when the rapid eye movement

stage occurs, since this is when we are in our deepest stage of sleep.

Some suggest that 10 to 20 minutes of naptime are easier because our mind is trained to

wake up after a certain amount of time.

However napping closer to our bedtime should be avoided.

Researchers suggest leaving no more than a minimum of four hours between napping and

bedtime to keep sleep disturbances to a minimum.

1.

Meditate- If you've ever tried to go to sleep only to worry about a problem or tomorrow's

task, then these racing thoughts are to blame for a good night's rest.

However practicing mindful meditation just 20 minutes a day can bring a sense of ease

and relaxation to help you sleep faster and better at night.

Start off by choosing a calming focus.

Good examples are selecting a sound and repeating aloud or silently as you inhale and exhale

slowly.

The most common sound is "om, " or you can pick positive words like "peace" or

"relax."

Mindfulness meditation also decreases many stress-related ailments like high blood pressure,

pain, and depression.

BODYBUILDING SINGING!..? - Duration: 4:21.

^Joe!

I just want to say that I love you and I'm so proud of you and you're going to kill it tonight and...

look at all the butts behind me...

Alrighty so first things first, before

I get this video started...

I have some super great news!

I got cast in the fall play at our school, we're doing a play called "The Shape of Things"

it's written by Neil Labute.

Another piece of good news, I also got cast in a Cabaret?

It's kind of in collaboration with the school.

We're doing like a role reversal so I'm going to be, I guess, singing the part of a girl...

So that's extremely good news; however, this video... this video's not about me.

No this video is about MA GOOD FRIEND JOE.

So Joe just came out with a new song called "Real Love" that he's been working on for

a really long time and he's performing it here at the Belasco Theatre.

It's kind of like a Black Tie Bodybuilding Event that he's performing at.

So I'm super excited to see him perform.

JOE!!

That's Joe!

JOE!

^What's up guys!

Hi Jared!

^Anything you want to say to Joe Olvia?

^Yes Joe!

I want to wish you good luck this is such a great opportunity for you and I know you're going to kill it.

This is just the start of your career and I wish you the best of luck.

^Alright Joe we've working on this for so long and we're just going to go out there and kill it and we're...

YUP!

^Waddup Jared?!

^Are you excited to go on?

^I'm very excited!

I'm slick kind of nervous but I'm really excited.

And I love the fact that there's Relativity people here, you know from my school.

This is my first time performing this song live.

Preparation really does meet opportunity.

Because I was not expecting to perform this live.

But then my friend was just like, "Hey! there's an event we're looking for entertainment."

And I was a little scared at first.

And this is a lesson to be fearless.

I was a little scared and I was like no this is the year that I'm going to be fearless.

And I hit the lady up, she heard my song, she liked it, then she was like,

"Yea come on! I want you."

So that's how it all happened.

^He's going to be performing his new single called "Real Love" So please put your hands together for...

JOE THOMAS CARTER!

(singing) "...you were vibing with a new boo.

I get so lonely while thinking we could be something special..."

^Joe congratulations man you did it!

You're a pop start dude!

You got your album, you got your new video coming out, and you got your live performance.

Got it all.

^JOE!!!

WE ARE...

I am, especially proud of you!

Muah!

^We did it!

^You did it Joe!

^We did it, "Real Love."

the journey is basically over.

it's just the music video next.

September 15th it's going to be lit, it's going to be great, and I'm excited!

^So I wish I could've gotten some more interviews for you Joe but that's the best I could do.

Everyone ended up taking off and all that...

But Joe, you did amazing.

The reason why I wanted to make this video is because you inspire me Joe...

and you inspire me to better myself and to get better at my craft.

I remember when you first told me about the song, and you were - you were nervous about

it you we're like "Oh I don't know how it's going..." and all that you were still getting

it figured out...

And now you're here...

And you performed it...

And that alone is something great.

You're always focused on helping out other people and that inspires me to do the same...

so Joe this video's for you.

I hope you enjoyed it.

You did amazing.

Don't beat down on yourself.

It was an amazing performance, and everybody there had a great time.

that's going to be it for this video.

Have a dream.

Believe in That Dream.

And Never Give Up.

New Voice Actor - News about Five Nights at Freddy's... 6? [PL/ENG] - Duration: 4:33.

Hello, Ponguj's here and today I've got a short episode about Scott's upcoming game,

it's most likely about FNaF6, but we can't be one hundred sure about that. It's about a new Voice Actor.

As usual, the leaks about voice actors are super easy. Scott is hiring someone, that person does his job, they give 5 stars each other etc.

That's how we get some interesting info, and through the case number, we can from time to time get some more details, like this time too.

Of course, Scott is completely aware of that situation, and so during Sister Location, he gave some false news.

Kellen Goff, who had a role of Costumed Entertainer, but it was totally fake, as his role was Funtime Freddy.

So we can't be completely sure whenever it's legit or not, but you could see something is wrong when you read Funtime Freddy's role description.

Now, we have a job performed by Dave Steele, which is Instructional Technician. In short - Phone Guy.

The description of his job says, that he has to leave messages for the employees using the tape recorder.

The person knows what he's doing, he did that a hundred of times, so he doesn't feel anyhow special about that, lack of enthusiasm etc. But the voice has to be clear and direct.

So that's how the situation looks like, the description suggests we are talking about a Phone Guy.

But not our basic, original Phone Guy from FNaF1, as he's being voiced by Scott. He isn't Phone Dude too, it's a completely new...

Phone Guy 3.0.

We can create a lot of theories about that, but the most important fact about that is, that we've got completely new news about a new voice actor, more information regarding the game in works.

For me, there is a possibility that Dave Steele's words aren't about FNaF6, but about a pizza tycoon game Scott mentioned, but there's a tiny chance about that.

I would say, that there is like 90% that it's about next FNaF game, but I'm not denying a possibility about Pizza Tycoon.

About the new Phone Guy, we can create a couple of theories already.

The description completely doesn't work with Phone Dude-like character, it's not someone who is creating something new - it's a person working a long time in one place.

Just like Scott's Phone Guy, but knowing that another person is voicing him, it cannot be this Phone Guy.

That's why it's good to think, where Phone Guy 3.0 could appear and the most basic and obvious version would be Fredbear's Family Diner - a worker from the original location.

Especially as the description mentions a tape recorder. We know that Scott can give us false information, so I wouldn't take tape recorder as an undeniable evidence, but if it's important, it's suggesting that we're talking about some early years, so either Fredbear's Family Diner or first Freddy's.

And as Phone Guy 1.0 worked in Freddy's, I would think Fredbear's Family Diner is more likely, yet it could be any other sister location to Freddy's as well.

I generally don't think, that it gives us anytime boundary regarding the game, as I think William could have some old cassettes from the previous locations.

The better question is - what are they for, it's difficult to determine what mechanics would William need them to explain. There was a similar situation to what I have in mind in FNaF3 - it was pretty well showed there.

If they are really about Fredbear's Family Diner, we will have to deal with something created in that location. But I don't see much options about what could that be, so it's really intriguing.

It would make more sense if Phone Guy 3.0 was explaining something more lore-relevant, more like a cassette to find during the gameplay that one starting at the beginning of the night.

It would clear up stuff regarding Fredbear's or something like that. It gives Scott a possibility to explain the 83-87 debate,

but I'm guessing he would just confirm Fredbear's existing in 1983 and give tiny more details about it, but without confirming anything regarding the bite. That sounds like something Scott would do.

But yeah, that's a short simple analysis, there are a lot of possibilities, but I think that from our perspective, Fredbear's is most logical and basic one, that's just my opinion about that.

Thank you for watching, don't forget to leave a comment, even in English, your thoughts about that case, but before that, see you soon in the next episodes, bye!
