it lopsided it that's up to you if you want to do it that way

but what I'm going to do is be working across 13 stitches across the center

here so I just like to have an idea and kind of count and eyeball it 1 2 3 4 5 6

7 8 9 10 11 12 13 so right about here that looks pretty good so I'm going to

attach it right here like that work a chain 1 now I'm going to work right over

this previous strand like that and work across 13 1 2 3 4 5 8 9 12 13 now I'm

going to turn and I'm gonna cut this off because it's just gonna be in my way

work a chain 4 skip one single crochet work a double crochet in the next chain

1 skip a single crochet work a double crochet in the next chain 1 we will do

this for a total of 7 times and this is going to be the creepy-looking mount

we've completed 3 4 5 6 and so this is what it looks like right now at this

point we're going to turn work a chain 4 and then work a double crochet chain 1

in each stitch across that's number 2 3 4 5 6 and right here on the edge I had

to crochet through the chain because the first chain counted as my first double

crochet with a chain one I'm going to turn and then work a single crochet in

double crochet single crochet in the space and do this all the way across

with a single crochet in the double crochet and a single crochet in the

space and then when I get here to this the last chain I'm going to work for

single crochet now we're working up the side and then I'm working to through the

side here and then I will just be working one single crochet and I'm

working them very very loosely around the whole head

now I'm down here and I'm going to work one more row of single crochet across

the bottom and then when I get over here then I'm working a slip stitch here on

So I'm vlogging I feel like I start off every single vlog by saying that I'm vlogging

And I don't know what happened with my voice

Anyways, so it is Saturday morning?

And I'm starting the vlog off a little bit earlier

This because I'm gonna have to stop vlogging throughout the middle of the day. I do have ballet rehearsal

So I'm going to have to stop vlogging for a couple hours, but then I will resume the vlog afterward

So yeah, I'm trying to get as much footage as I can before I go off to ballet rehearsal

So yeah, I'm vlogging just for the heck of it

You know why not I do really like vlogging so I was like you know this Saturday

I'm gonna vlog and the lighting is really good. It's always really sunny on days

I don't film so I'm going to again I

Have no idea what's wrong with my voice, but I'm going to get my hair

And she's some sort of bun. It's really messy right now, so I'm gonna set you guys over here somewhere

And then I can put my hair up, and then I'll be right back

So hair is done

It honestly took way longer to do my hair, then it should have because so many weird things were happening

My door kept on opening by itself

It was like creaking and I would look back

Hey, BookTube, it's Sylwia!

So I'm doing this "Archived Top 5" thing.

I have a list somewhere in the card where I go all the way back in time and I'm going

through every single Top 5 Wednesday topic we've ever had.

So one of the topics in 2014 was ... Top 5 Books You Devoured.

Off the top of my head, books that I read in one or two days were: The DUFF.

I read this in one sitting throughout one entire day and I adored it and I'm looking

forward to re-reading it because I remember it very fondly.

The Glass Castle, I read over one weekend on audio and I really, really enjoyed.

This was recent so I know for a fact I can recommend this to you.

If you've been thinking about this, please pick it up on audio and enjoy your weekend

with it.

I read Fairest of All in one day, I feel like in a couple of hours.

This is a very short book with incredible writing style.

I have a review of it which I'll link in the card.

I adored it.

I devoured it.

I also read Winter by Marissa Meyer in a weekend and this is probably the longest book in that

series but I just did nothing but read it to finish off the series and I remember it

was Christmastime so it was, like, fun to sit with a book all day and that was all I

did.

And I remember that experience fondly.

Do I recommend The Lunar Chronicles?

I don't know that I do.

I don't know that I don't, but I don't know that I do.

And Attachments by Rainbow Rowell.

So I read this before I joined BookTube but, like, right before I joined BookTube.

My friend lent me her copy and I devoured it but I was so disappointed by the ending

that I never rated it.

And I just get angry whenever I talk about it and now that some time has passed, and

some more conversation about the romance in that book comes to light, like, some more

discussion is happening and it's getting my wheels turning, I'm wondering what I would

think of the book now.

So I think I'm going to re-read it.

Because they're much more for the concept of 'Art' and I'm much more for the practical side of things

And I had a tremendous respect for his work

In fact, that was one of the first Portuguese animation movies I ever saw

So I really wanted to know more about his new movie

I wanted to meet him

And then, for some reason, it didn't work out I think I couldn't work for him

I can't remember why

And then we ended up working on Saari, at Sardinha em Lata

It was for Barcelona and it was super cute

There I met Diogo, we were a 4-person team

We were so many

The animation industry in Portugal

It was me, Diogo, Jorge and Vanessa

And it was great

I love working there, we were like a small family And then the project was over

I was really sad because I was so happy to go to work every day

I loved the atmosphere and the studio and finally not being working at home

Watching TV and drawing

Being able to work alongside other people I loved the team's spirit

And when I realised that's what I was going to have for the next few years, I thought...

I wanted to work for TV, I was sure of it

I thought that animation movies were too far down the line

So TV was my next goal

So I sent CVs everywhere

France, UK It was really...

But I never had...

I had no real connection to Ireland, so I didn't really have to come back to Ireland

If I had the chance to come back, fine

Everyone said 'no', or that I didn't have enough experience, or they weren't looking for anyone

Until Rob Cullen's email said 'yes, we're starting a new project soon

And I love animation and I thought, Why don't I make flipbooks?

This was before I even knew when there was the next market

I just thought I wanted to do something different for the next time

And because I love animation I thought of making the flipbooks

People who have nothing to do with animation, they wouldn't want to buy a flipbook just by itself

I think I wouldn't like my profession

I started to learn by myself so I could draw more easily at home

Because I felt I had gotten to a stage where I couldn't grow any further

When I got the Animation Director role, I had more

I understood... Sometimes you don't know why something doesn't work

If someone is animating something and you don't know why it is isn't working out

Because I studied at home, from my own initiative, drawing, which is so important for animation

It improved my way of talking to the animators

At work I was able to explain why a pose isn't working or why a key wasn't working

Why this animation isn't working Because I had done my homework at home

With pleasure

And then it ended up affecting it

Because I had to learn colour theory and everything

And as a director you have to master so many things, not just animation
