On that basis, I feel the scrutiny is justified.Woodford has a history of going through long poor periods when his chosen stocks are out of fashion — most memorably in the tech boom of the late 20th century

But anyone who held his Invesco Perpetual High Income fund at the start of 2000 — as I did — would have seen their money double in the following six years

During that time, the technology bubble burst. A FTSE All Share tracker — which blindly follows the stock market — held through those years would only just have broken even

So Woodford's success was quite extraordinary.But those glory years are a decade behind us

And the numbers since the 2008 banking crisis suggest that Woodford watchers might have done just as well following a FTSE tracker

It's been a tough time for equity income managers generally, as growth stocks, particularly mining and oils, have been in favour over shares renowned for paying large dividends

Brian Dennehy, a financial adviser at FundExpert, compiled figures showing that in its first four years, Woodford Equity Income has returned 23

2 per cent, compared with 33 per cent for the average equity income fund.Over the 12 months to the start of June, it fell 9

76 per cent, while the equity income sector as a whole was up 6.69 per cent and the FTSE 100 Index is up 9

32 per cent. The past year has been tough for Neil Woodford's flagship Equity Income fundIncidentally, because its income is too low, Woodford Equity Income has been moved to the UK All Companies fund sector — but I think we should compare it with what it says it does, which is provide attractive income

Last year, Dennehy suggested that clients choose Schroder Income or J O Hambro UK Equity Income

Since then, Woodford's fund has lagged these by 27 per cent and 26 per cent respectively

Shopping on Ebay is certainly an option...

but coming to a Vintage Market like this is even better!!

Today I want to take a walk with you around this Topanga Vintage Market and see what kind of cool stuff we can find!

There is a lot of stuff here... certainly cool stuff to make a garage very nice!

This is a pretty large event, so lets get inside and check it all out!!

Survivor 2019 premieres with 18 contestants, but not all of them are new.

There are four returning competitors, hoping to end up the ultimate winner, and one of them is Kelley Wentworth.

When speaking about her decision to return to the show, Wentworth told Entertainment Weekly, "Enough time has passed, I just feel ready.

I feel like you can't always let opportunities pass you by.

And, still no kids.

I'm married now, but it's just like you never know in the next few years what might be in my life and this just seemed like the perfect time.

So, ready to try again." As for changes that Wentworth has gone through since she was on the show before, she said that she has gotten married and learned to have more patience.

She said she's also better at handling her emotions and relationships with others.

Previously on the show, Wentworth made it to the final four, so she definitely has a good chance at being the season 38 winner.

Wentworth certainly thinks she can win.

She told Entertainment Weekly, "This game takes so much out of you, so my only goal this time is to win so that I don't even have to entertain the thought of coming back.".

According to Soap Dirt, there are many reasons why Wentworth could be a front-runner this season.

Soap Dirt reported that Wentworth is the "idol queen".

When she was previously on the show, she found an idol and then cleverly buried it so that no one would know she had it.

She is also great at doing physical challenges.

The show's longtime host, Jeff Probst, has also said that he thinks Wentworth could end up a winner this season, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Probst said he thinks that she's great at challenges, she knows how to talk to people, and she is very convincing.

Probst stated, "She's who I would align with.

I just think Kelley has it all, and she's got just enough physical skills, great social skills, very aggressive in terms of finding idols, and she can lie like crazy.

I think it's her time.".

Probst also said, "I believe Wentworth is destined to win this game.

I have since we first met her and it's why we keep bringing her back.

She has all the skills and it has not gone to her head.

Every time she shows up, it seems like she's been sharpening that knife for months going, 'I'm ready to try again, get me back in, coach.'".

Wentworth was previously on Survivor San Juan Del Sur and Survivor Second Chance.

A 72-year-old Colorado man has been arrested in the 45-year-old cold case rape, kidnapping and murder of an 11-year-old girl in Newport Beach, California.

Linda O'Keefe was killed in 1973 while walking home from school.

James Alan Neal was arrested February 19, 2019, in connection to her death, prosecutors announced at a press conference.

The Orange County District Attorney's Office said Neal was identified as the suspect in O'Keefe's murder through a genealogical DNA database.

He has been charged with murder with special circumstances, kidnapping during the commission of a murder and lewd and lascivious acts on a child under the age of 14 during the commission of a murder.

Neal would have been 27 at the time of Linda O'Keefe's murder and about to turn 28 on July 28.

Neal lived in Orange County at the time using the name James Alan George Layton, which he later changed to James Alan Neal.

Jail records show he has also used the aliases James Albert Lyton, Allen George Gilstrap and James Albert.

Neal has been married for several decades, is a retired construction worker and a great-grandfather.

He moved to Monument, Colorado, from San Jacinto, California, in 2015.

He lived with his wife there.

The Orange County District Attorney's Office said Neal was identified as the suspect in O'Keefe's murder through a genealogical DNA database.

Neal left DNA at the crime scene, police said.

Advances in technology that allow investigators to enter DNA taken as evidence into public DNA databases to look for matches has led to arrests in several cold cases, most notably in the Golden State Killer case.

A nurse was arrested in the 26-year-old murder of a woman at an Alaska college campus last week after his aunt submitted DNA to a genealogical site.

Authorities have not released details about the DNA search that led to Neal's arrest, including which of his family member's DNA was matched with the evidence from the scene.

"As the Orange County District Attorney, I am committed to protecting the community.

My office will never forget about cold cases," District Attorney Todd Spitzer said in a statement.

"Our hearts go out to the victim and the victim's family in this case, having to endure decades without answers.

We will make sure that the defendant is fairly and justly held accountable in a court of law.".

The prosecutor's office said, "The Orange County District Attorney's Office would like to thank our law enforcement partners, the Newport Beach Police Department, Orange County Crime Lab, Federal Bureau of Investigations, Colorado Springs Police Department, and El Paso County Sheriff's Department for their assistance and commitment to this investigation.

Linda O'Keefe Vanished While Walking Home From Summer School on July 6, 1973, & Was Found Strangled to Death in a Brushy Area a Day Later.

Newport Beach Police have been investigating the cold case murder of Linda Ann O'Keefe for several decades and District Attorney Todd Spitzer praised the commitment detectives had to solve the murder.

In July 2018, on the 45th anniversary of her murder, police launched a social media campaign to highlight the case and attempt to gain new leads and information.

Linda was an 11-year-old resident of Corona del Mar.

She was walking home from summer school on July 6, 1973, when she was abducted and killed.

Her body was found one day later in the Back Bay area, but her killer was not found during the initial investigation.

Linda had last been seen talking to a stranger in a van around midday near the intersection of Marguerite Drive and Inlet Drive, Newport Beach Police Chief Jon Lewis said at Wednesday's press conference.

"Linda never made it home that afternoon.

Linda's family checked with friends, with neighbors, but no one could put their mind at ease.

They searched the neighborhood and her path home from school to no avail." Her mother then called police and reported her missing.

Authorities searched throughout the night and her body was found in a ditch along Back Bay Drive the next morning.

Police said Linda had been strangled.

Investigators then turned to a search for her killer.

"For 45 years the Newport Beach Police Department continued to search for Linda's killer," Lewis said.

"Generations of investigators worked on her case.

We never gave up.".

District Attorney Todd Spitzer said a DNA sample was recovered from the victim, but when it was previously run through CODIS, the national DNA database, there were no hits.

"Innovations in science and technology," and the willingness of detectives to use all available means, led to the break in the case, Spitzer told reporters.

He said after the indication that James Neal could be a suspect, police used "surveillance and other traditional detective techniques," to "get additional DNA which resulted in the corroboration of the DNA from the victim's body to the DNA sample that the suspect left in a particular location during surveillance activities.

" Spitzer said additional information would be unveiled later in court.

Chief Jon Lewis said in addition to the public awareness campaign on social media, investigators also reignited traditional "good old-fashioned police work" and turned to the "latest in DNA technology.

Our investigators used forensic DNA testing and an online genealogy website to identify the suspect's DNA as being consistent with DNA left at the crime scene.

Simply put, our investigators had our lead.

Which brings us here.".

The chief said, "Newport Beach Police Department is committed to the victims of cold case homicides and to their families.

We have never forgotten Linda or the tragic events of July 1973.

This was a day that made parents in our community think twice before they let their children walk to school, walk out the front door, bike down the street or play with their friends.

Linda's death changed the lives of the O'Keefe family forever when this little girl was taken from them.

It rocked their community and took root in the hearts of the men and women in their police department.

We never, ever, forgot Linda's story.".

Lewis thanked Linda's family, friends and schoolmates who never gave up hope and "everyone around the world who was touched by Linda's story.

Spitzer said the murder "rocked" the Newport Beach community for more than four decades.

City council member Brad Avery said at the press conference, "We're so proud of our police department, not that we haven't been all along, but today is something and it shows their resolve over the years.".

Avery added that it was a "simpler" time when Linda was killed.

"We are a little hardened today, but back in 1973, this was a huge deal.

It was such a collective loss and it was so difficult to reconcile that this case, as time went on, would never be solved.".

Cae gasto por ajustes en nuevo Gobierno - Duration: 4:29.

En diciembre, el gasto programable o público cayó 25.3 por ciento respecto a lo registrado el mismo mes de 2017, debido al ajuste de las operaciones de distintas áreas de Gobierno, señaló el Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos (IMCP)

De acuerdo con Moisés Alcalde Virgen, presidente de la Comisión de Revista del IMCP, este reajuste de la comunicación y coordinación entre los organismos del Gobierno es natural en los primeros meses de funciones

"Es común que el arranque de sexenio muestre desajustes y falta de ritmo en el ejercicio del gasto público", señaló Alcalde Virgen

El gasto programable se constituye de los recursos erogados por el Gobierno para proveer bienes y servicios, programas sociales y la operación de las instituciones gubernamentales

El especialista señaló que entre las razones por las cuales se ve disminuido el gasto público en el primer mes de gobierno se encuentra la curva de aprendizaje de los nuevos funcionarios públicos, así como el nivel del claridad respecto a programas y proyectos públicos

"Aún no existe un plan nacional de desarrollo ni de infraestructura, lo que hace que el gasto público sea lento", dijo

Alcalde Virgen apuntó que está disminución en el gasto público por la curva de aprendizaje ha sido similar en los anteriores cambios de Gobierno

Y recordó que el gasto público está ligado al desarrollo y crecimiento económico

"La importancia de la inversión del sector público resalta cuando se aprecia un crecimiento importante en infraestructura física que contribuye a impulsar la actividad productiva del País", refirió

El retraso en el gasto público, estimó, se podría prolongar por la intención del nuevo Gobierno de centralizar las compras federales en la Secretaría de Hacienda

"Puede haber una disminución de actos de corrupción mientras que los procesos de adquisición sean públicos y transparentes

Sin embargo, existe la preocupación de la eficiencia del proceso y de la rapidez que se logré hacer las adquisiciones", señaló

Alcalde Virgen afirmó que existe preocupación de que se genere un cuello de botella por la concentración de adquisiciones que ralentice los procesos y advirtió que la centralización de compras resulta un proceso complicado

"Entre más especializado sea el bien que se compre será más complicado centralizarlo por la necesidad de especialistas", finalizó

 Tottenham Hotspur youngster Marcus Edwards, on loan at Excelsior, has been hailed by team-mate Jeffrey Fortes, who, per Voetbal Primeur, says is the best player he has played alongside

 Edwards moved to the Netherlands in the summer and has made 14 appearances for the club in the Eredivisie, scoring two goals and laying on two assists

What's the word?  Edwards has been with Spurs since the age of eight but has made just one senior appearance for the club, playing 15 minutes in a 5-0 League Cup win over Gillingham in 2016

 A loan spell at Norwich City in 2018 was not fruitful but his move to Excelsior, however, appears to be working out and he has been in excellent form in recent weeks

 The 20-year-old scored once and provided one assist in a 2-1 win over FC Emmen last time out and Fortes says he has an unnatural amount of talent

   Indeed, Mauricio Pochettino, speaking in 2016, likened Edwards to Barcelona icon Lionel Messi, saying, per Sky Sports: "The qualities – it's only looks, his body and the way that he plays – remember a little bit from the beginning of Messi

"  Fortes said: "He is of a bizarre level, what he can do is really not normal, I have not experienced a better player in my career, and Mauricio Pochettino did not make that comparison with Messi for nothing

 "He was referring to his way of moving and there is really something in that."  Fortes is delighted that Edwards has chosen to move to the Netherlands, with Excelsior currently 14th in Eredivisie

 He added: "He is for many the Tottenham player, not Marcus Edwards, and of course it is also incredible that he is walking around here, let's face it

" A chance to prove his worth  Edwards has long been seen as a diamond in the rough

 He has been capped at numerous youth levels by England, playing for every age group between the Under-16s and the Under-20s

He has scored at least one goal for each team.  However, he has yet to make his breakthrough at Spurs, despite Pochettino's continued insistence that he will trust in youth

 Pochettino, of all managers, will surely give him the chance.
