The Pixel 3 XL's mission is to offer the best experience with Android,
but in our tests, it didn't perform as expected,
and you will see now, with all the details.
Google's smartphone brings the same Snapdragon 845 found in its smaller brother
and algo the same amount of memory, but ended up delivering an inferior result.
In our speed test we put the device to open popular apps and games,
while timing to see how long it takes for it to complete the task.
On the first lap it took 54 seconds to open all apps,
the Pixel 3 was just a second faster, but if we compare it with the OnePlus 6T and the Mate 20 Pro,
the fastest Androids now,
the 3 XL took 17 seconds more to finish.
The worst time was found on the second lap - even with 4 GB of RAM,
the Pixel 3 XL failed to keep the apps opened, what made it take 55 seconds to reopen everything,
while the Chinese rivals humiliate needing just 15 seconds to complete the tass.
It's interesting to see that the 3 XL managed to be worse than the Pixel 3 in this test
even with both having the same specs and the same Android version.
If Pixel 3 XL's memory management doesn't work how it should,
its brute performance, at least, is not affected.
Contradicting what we saw before, here it surpasses Pixel 3 with ease
showing higher numbers in all of the tools.
It also stays at the same level from other Snapdragon 845 devices.
In case you mind benchmark numbers, the Pixel 3 XL leaves nothing to be desired.
Google reduced the battery size in its flagship comparing to the previous version,
like what was expected, the Pixel 3 XL ended up delivering a worse performance.
But it still surpasses the Pixel 3.
It's just a 2 hour difference regarding usage time between the 2018 models,
but it's enough for who doesn't have a heavy use pattern nor runs lots of games.
The charger delivers the same power, and because it has a smaller battery,
the Pixel 3 XL ends up spending less time conected to the power outlet than its predecessor.
Anyway, we still need to wait for almost two hours for that
what it a long time, considering that there are flagships capable of doing it in just one hour or even less.
Even with a battery considerably larger than the one found inside the Pixel 3, the 3 XL got only a few extra minutes
in the video playback test, delivering almost 12 hours of battery life.
When recording we had almost four hours and a half, this being a bigger difference compared to the Pixel 3,
and staying at the same level as many 2018 flagships.
In video calls using Skype we had almost the same battery performance found on the Pixel 3 xl,
but delivering half of that the OnePlus 6T and Mate 20 Pro are capable of.
If the Pixel 3 XL disappoints in RAM management and do de RAM and doesn't keep the apps opened
in the background for a long time, at least in games we didn't find any issue
with Google's device.
Here we had the best performance we could expect from a flagship
with PUBG, Asphalt 8 and Injustice 2 running at 30 fps, while others at stable 60 fps.
The battery also yields well when gaming, reaching an average of six hours.
The Pixel 3 XL is a potent smartphone that offers the purest Android experience.
It was mandatory for it to be the fastest Android on the market - or at least rank close to the top fastest devices,
but that doesn't happen.
A flaw on the RAM management makes it impossible for the device to hold an app opened in the background for a long time
and the weirdest thing is that the Pixel 3 doesn't behave that way.
If you're in search for the fastest Android on the market the Mate 20 Pro or OnePlus 6T would be the best options.
Not to mention that both Chinese flagships also deliver great a battery life and better autonomy than the Pixel 3 XL.

Google's smartphone brings the same Snapdragon 845 found in its smaller brother
and algo the same amount of memory, but ended up delivering an inferior result.
In our speed test we put the device to open popular apps and games,
while timing to see how long it takes for it to complete the task.
On the first lap it took 54 seconds to open all apps,
the Pixel 3 was just a second faster, but if we compare it with the OnePlus 6T and the Mate 20 Pro,
the fastest Androids now,
the 3 XL took 17 seconds more to finish.
The worst time was found on the second lap - even with 4 GB of RAM,
the Pixel 3 XL failed to keep the apps opened, what made it take 55 seconds to reopen everything,
while the Chinese rivals humiliate needing just 15 seconds to complete the tass.
It's interesting to see that the 3 XL managed to be worse than the Pixel 3 in this test
even with both having the same specs and the same Android version.
If Pixel 3 XL's memory management doesn't work how it should,
its brute performance, at least, is not affected.
Contradicting what we saw before, here it surpasses Pixel 3 with ease
showing higher numbers in all of the tools.
It also stays at the same level from other Snapdragon 845 devices.
In case you mind benchmark numbers, the Pixel 3 XL leaves nothing to be desired.
Google reduced the battery size in its flagship comparing to the previous version,
like what was expected, the Pixel 3 XL ended up delivering a worse performance.
But it still surpasses the Pixel 3.
It's just a 2 hour difference regarding usage time between the 2018 models,
but it's enough for who doesn't have a heavy use pattern nor runs lots of games.
The charger delivers the same power, and because it has a smaller battery,
the Pixel 3 XL ends up spending less time conected to the power outlet than its predecessor.
Anyway, we still need to wait for almost two hours for that
what it a long time, considering that there are flagships capable of doing it in just one hour or even less.
Even with a battery considerably larger than the one found inside the Pixel 3, the 3 XL got only a few extra minutes
in the video playback test, delivering almost 12 hours of battery life.
When recording we had almost four hours and a half, this being a bigger difference compared to the Pixel 3,
and staying at the same level as many 2018 flagships.
In video calls using Skype we had almost the same battery performance found on the Pixel 3 xl,
but delivering half of that the OnePlus 6T and Mate 20 Pro are capable of.
If the Pixel 3 XL disappoints in RAM management and do de RAM and doesn't keep the apps opened
in the background for a long time, at least in games we didn't find any issue
with Google's device.
Here we had the best performance we could expect from a flagship
with PUBG, Asphalt 8 and Injustice 2 running at 30 fps, while others at stable 60 fps.
The battery also yields well when gaming, reaching an average of six hours.
The Pixel 3 XL is a potent smartphone that offers the purest Android experience.
It was mandatory for it to be the fastest Android on the market - or at least rank close to the top fastest devices,
but that doesn't happen.
A flaw on the RAM management makes it impossible for the device to hold an app opened in the background for a long time
and the weirdest thing is that the Pixel 3 doesn't behave that way.
If you're in search for the fastest Android on the market the Mate 20 Pro or OnePlus 6T would be the best options.
Not to mention that both Chinese flagships also deliver great a battery life and better autonomy than the Pixel 3 XL.

Adamawa REC: Atiku Doesn't Even Know What I look Like, How Can He Give Me $1m Bribe?
Kashim Gaidam, Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has debunked a report claiming that was implicated in a bribery scandal involving Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
There had been reports earlier on Monday that Gaidam rejected an offer of $1million as bribe from Atiku. The offer was also said to have included a house in Dubai.
Gaidam, who threatened court action, emphasised that he had never met Atiku in his life.
"I've never had any contact with Atiku all my life. I can state without fear of contradiction that Atiku probably does not know how I look, because I've never met him personally, all my life.
I was shocked to read what was credited to me by some unscrupulous persons," he said. Gaidam further stressed that the report "reflects the handiwork of desperate politicians who want to achieve cheap popularity through blackmail".

I've actually been available for over 50 years today I'll be showing you five
bizarre cars you probably have never heard of and we're decades ahead of
their time if you're new here welcome to the channel my name is Christian if you

begin coming in at number one seemingly straight out of an episode of The
Jetsons is the 1959 Cadillac cyclone X P 74 with this distinct bubble dome canopy
indicative of the 50s America's Thailand the cyclone has a whole host of features
that would make you think it's designer Harley Earl was a time traveler from the
future she boasted a powerful 325 horsepower engine for air mounted
automatic transmission all-wheel independent suspension system had
exhaust that poured it out in front of the wheels and had those innovatively
design headlamps that would flip down from out of the grill here's where it
gets even more interesting though when you look at this car you'll notice right
away it has these eye-catching cylinders running down both sides of it this
feature was for more than just aesthetic purposes this is where the radar for the
collision avoidance system was housed yeah that's right I just said a
collision avoidance system I'll wait a few seconds to let that sink in this
cart was so ahead of his time that it had a collision avoidance system that
would actually warn you of objects up ahead and calculated based on speed you
were going how long it would take you to stop in order for you to avoid hitting
it it's hard to believe now when watching commercials for new cars
bragging about these new collision avoidance systems coming standard with
them that this has already been done and so long ago - the Cadillac cyclone is
certainly a standout for its pioneering blend of exquisite beauty inside and out
and his groundbreaking technological achievements in the era of the newly
developed atomic bomb Harley Aero working with GM decides to
fire back with his 1953 General Motors Firebird XP 21 this wagon of mass desire
was the world's first ever gas turbine car Harvey Earl the eccentric time
traveller he was decided to take the same engine that was currently allowing
air crash to take humans past the speed of sound for the first time in history
and stick it in a car this little aviation inspired toy packed a whopping
370 horsepower which by today's standard isn't too much but in 1953 that was a
pretty big deal this was one of only a handful of cars at the time that could
reach the ever so elusive 200 miles per hour mark
certainly captured the public's attention for achieving this feat this
concept car was designed and produced in an era where Americans were absolutely
obsessed with aviation in rocketry which was reflected in car designs at the time
you will see this aviation inspired theme repeat a few times on this list
but this bad mama-jama is the only car that looked like drove like but also
sounded like a jet hell it pretty much was a jet it's only real downfall is
that it was over engineered out of practicality because of course flying
through town at 200 miles per hour while creating a sonic boom with your world
fire turbo power gas turbine engine was a reality we all rather live without
even though each and one of us would marvel at the thought of owning and
driving our very own land missile car but a standard cop car in 1953 even
having chance of catching up with one of these to issue its driver a ticket
except analysts will be ruling it back into the tamer side of things this car
surely isn't a physics defying speed record brake and death machine but
offered a level of class luxury and elegance unrivaled in its day I'm
talking of course about the 1936 stout scarab this car was not only the first
minivan but also the only minivan ever created that didn't scream I've given up
on life and trying to get laid all jokes aside the Scarab was not well received
when it came out and was considered ugly over time however this gem ended up
becoming a hallmark of art deco design it was built around a living room on
wheels concept and took comfort to a new level in automobiles its front seats
would rotate 360 degrees backseat would fold out into a couch which also had a
table that folded out in conjunction with it creating a very cozy atmosphere
perfect for relaxing that pit stops on long car rides they also had a very low
floor plan in order to maximize the room inside of it which was the crowning
detail that really allowed the Scarab to achieve its living room on wheels
mission they say to be great is to be misunderstood and I guess this saying
holds true when discussing the Scarab it was just too ahead of its time to really
be appreciated and for the public to yearn for a vehicle more suited for
living on the road we wouldn't see this type of vehicle become popular for about
10 years and it would take another 30 for them to catch up to Scarab when it
came to comfort and amenities if you couldn't tell already by some of the
other cars on this list America was obsessed with aviation in the 1950s and
incorporated aircraft inspiration and cars quite often this next car is no
exception to the trend but arguably did it in a more eye-catching fashion than
anyone else say hello to the 1956 Buick Centurion among its other futuristic
design features one of Bo Centurions most notable it's his transparent roof
this was perfectly executed when it was period with front and rear vents to
allow cool air to flow through the car in order to combat its rapidly rising
temperatures from all the UV rays coming through the roof it also had a specially
designed hub cuts that would intake air while moving and direct them to the
brakes cooling them and increasing their stopping capabilities the feature that
really earned the Centurion a spot on this list what's its backup camera this
car had no mirrors and relied solely on its backup camera that we wouldn't start
seeing as a standard option again for about 50 years if that's not crazy
enough this car also had no gas tank either not because it was electric or
solar powered but because it was purely a concept car that never saw a
functional one be made it's a real shame too because I would love to live in a
world where the Buick Centurion was mass-produced
now before you nitpickers leave your comments yes I realized Buick made a
Centurion from 1971 to 1973 but this was a completely different car that only
utilized the same name as the one I'm talking about this next car would be an
odd man out of the list because of how young it is compared to the others but
its place here was certainly merited due to just 1 futuristic feature talking
about the 1986 Buick Ferrara this was the very first car to come standard with
a touchscreen no I didn't misspeak a freaking
touchscreen this in itself is such a mind-blowing feature for a 1986 vehicle
but it gets way more intense the more you dive into it yeah sure it did cool
things like control the radio climate control and what-have-you this screen
also had a trip odometer would tell you how much gas was in the car check your
brake pad status and even do a vehicle diagnostics test for you these are
features we're used to seeing on today's Tesla but a Buick from the 80s this
hidden little gem was truly back from the future the screen or the graphical
control center as he coined it was a tube design so essentially this was just
a small TV they jammed into the interior of the car the screen was actually
pretty big but because of his tube design it was pretty bulky and
cumbersome but hey it was the 80s wasn't everything like that obviously the
graphical control system was held as a groundbreaking step towards
technological luxury but it was also heavily criticized for being a negligent
driving distraction funny to think how this little screen could cause so much
controversy as a driving distraction in a day and age where drivers are
constantly tapping out novel sized text messages while driving
unfortunately the roverís sales plunged in 1990 and then it's lying far too soon
the sales drop was not tributed to the graphical control system
but rather a variety of factors at the time it's really ashamed to because
think of all the groundbreaking features Buick could have created since then if
they kept the line and focused in on keeping it

facing right now in the United States. Trump of course is asserting the the you
know brown people coming from Mexico with the drugs and gang tattoos. At least
in his mind. In his delusional paranoid mind. But that's our biggest crisis right?
That's worth them and a national emergency. Well if you're gonna have a
national emergency, what are what are the real crises? And and I think that this is
an important question because if Trump gets away with his emergency declaration.
And Congress and you know he kind of laid this out as did Alec Baldwin. And
Congress says "No it's not really an emergency, sorry".
And then he vetoes that congressional resolution which undoes his declaration
of emergency and then Congress fails to overturn his veto, that means that he
gets his emergency. And then he can move a few billion dollars around and he can
you know build part some more of his wall or whatever he wants to do. But the
question is, what are the real crises that we're facing? I mean if we're going
to I mean if Trump is gonna blow up the Constitution if he's gonna violate
article 1 section 9 if he's gonna if he's gonna say no I am like King George
the 3rd I am I am the one who decides how money gets spent and if I'm the one
who do you know tag takes his act tax money and spends it however I want. If he
does that, successfully, and you know McConnell and the other Republicans
kind of go along with him, and yeah okay all right no problem.
Then and a Democratic president comes in behind him and says you know this is all
well and good but we actually have some real emergencies here I mean the IPCC
says that we now have what 11 years 10 years to basically go to zero carbon or
we're going to see the destruction of much of what we call civilization and
possibly even the destruction of the human race we have you know schools that
are failing we have it you know in large part because of the the whole racist
history of funding schools with property taxes we have more than a half a million
American children suffering from lead poisoning there's an interesting piece
in The New York Times actually back a week or so ago that listed some of the
things that could be done with the five billion dollars that Donald Trump wants
for his wall and I'll just go through this list and as as possibilities but
what I'd like to hear from you at 202 808 9925 is what do you think are the
real emergencies that we're facing I mean if we're gonna if we're gonna
declare an emergency or if a year and a half from now two years from now a
Democratic president comes along and has a Democratic Congress and I think that
that's entirely possible by the way what what can you know which which of these
crises would you like to see us you know would you like to see a Democratic
president basically lay his presidency or her presidency on the line for to do
something about it and how do we fight back when we are being overwhelmed by
the GOP power structure and when the majority of Americans are one paycheck
away from you know having a crisis themselves so some of the things we
could do with the with the five billion dollars the Trump is going to take from
someplace we haven't we don't know yet probably out of the military budget
there was some discussion earlier that he was gonna take you know emergency
funds for California and in Puerto Rico and not Texas no no no no Texas a red
state but California Porter a but you know we don't we just don't know yet
right and we'll find that out as the week goes on but for example more than a
half a million American children suffer from lead poisoning every year this is
an epidemic of lost potential lead poisoning measurably reduces IQ and
increases the propensity for violence to solve that problem nationwide to
literally have have you know contractors whether they're government agencies or
people that we hire using government money to have contractors go through and
and get all the lead paint out of American homes and get the lead water
lines out 125 million bucks save the lives of a half a million children Trump
doesn't consider that important at all so that ain't happening for four hundred
and thirty eight million dollars we could put over a million long-acting
reversible contraceptives they're called lar CS IUDs implants things like that
for at-risk young women and that's based on the on the cost of four hundred and
thirty-eight dollars per person that's four hundred thirty-eight million bucks
we could provide comprehensive drug treatment for forty thousand mothers for
18 months we've got roughly the best best guess is right now that with
children under two years old there's about forty thousand mothers who are
actually addicted to drugs right now and if the cost of twenty eight thousand
dollars each for 18 months for drug treatment we could spend a billion
dollars and solve that problem we could we could save 40,000 children's lives we
could we could for 650 million dollars we could send visiting home nurses to a
hundred thousand pregnant moms and and their and their newborn children you
know shortly after they give birth and help them out for 311 million dollars
this again these are this is chump change compared to the
five billion that Trump wants we could give methadone treatment to forty seven
thousand narcotics addicts in the United States for four and a half billion
dollars we could provide Medicaid to three point seven eight million children
we could give them health care almost four million children for seventy three
million dollars we could give VA healthcare to seven thousand returning
troops for two hundred and fifty million dollars we could radically reduce gang
violence in the United States for 11 million dollars we could buy back a
hundred and eighteen thousand guns for two hundred million dollars we could
provide permanent housing for two hundred thousand homeless people for
seven hundred and twenty million dollars we could provide an employment program
for adults in public housing 90,000 people in public housing who in many
cases are functionally illiterate seven hundred twenty million dollars we can
give them you know an education for two hundred fifty eight million dollars we
could provide literacy programs for five million at-risk children that's $20 per
child per year literacy coaching and there's even a program to do it it's
called reaching out and read for six hundred fifty million dollars we could
provide tech ad a technical education and internships for fifty thousand
low-income young people give them a start
you know launch them into careers in their lives for two hundred thirty four
million to see none of these are even 1 billion dollars and Trump is saying oh
I'm going to get eight billion dollars for two hundred and thirty four million
dollars job training and life skill coaching for thirty six thousand
prisoners so when they you know are integrated back into their societies we
don't have high recidivism rates this is something that they you know every
European country does this we don't we could we could enroll struggling 10th
grade boys this is a particular at-risk group
for 322 million dollars for 11 percent of all our 10th grade boys which is you
know about the percentage who are in all probability gonna get on a high school
or maybe not even graduate from high school and end up you know with a life
that just doesn't work because they really didn't have that education that
they needed for a hundred million dollars we could fund research into
crime drug use in high school graduation rates in poverty we could the the
Treasury Department for our estimates that for every dollar that they spend
funding the Internal Revenue Service they get back six dollars in taxes and
the Republicans ever since Reagan have been defunding the IRS year after year
after year it's down to the point now where it's
very rare that the IRS even audits billionaires anymore they mostly just
audit average working people because you know it's easier and faster and they can
keep their audit numbers up to hundred fifty million dollars we could fund the
IRS for four hundred eighty 1 million dollars we could give a 6 percent raise
to to two hundred thousand teachers that would be all the teachers in Florida
Louisiana in Texas for example 6% raise we could provide financial coaching to
5.9 million struggling Americans for a little over a billion dollars we could
train five hundred thousand five hundred forty two thousand quote working poor
Americans for only forty three million dollars we could buy bed nets to protect
twenty million families from malaria now that would be mostly in other countries
but it would save twenty thousand lives I mean you know the the list goes on we
can provide vitamin A supplementation for a hundred million children prevent
blindness all over the world for two hundred seventy million dollars we could
purify water for twenty five million people for thirty three million dollars
I mean where should our priorities be if we're going to have an emergency and if
Trump is is successful in establishing this precedent
what should a Democratic president do if they're going to declare an emergency

Bose QC45 Wishlist - How Do The Bose QC35 Stack Up In 2019 - Duration: 10:19.
Even though there are a lot of great premium ANC headphones on the market right now, and
there's even whole bunch more on the way… the most common question I get in my comments
is WHEN ARE THE BOSE QC45's COMING OUT?!?!
Now I don't know if the Bose QC45's will be coming out next week, next month, or next
year…
But I thought I would make a wish list of what I would like to see from the Bose QC45's…
And showcase how the aging Bose QC35's stack up against some of 2019's top ANC headphones.
The original Bose QC35's were released around June 2016, and then the Bose QC35 Series 2
were released in September 2017.
The only technical difference between the original Bose QC35 and the Series 2 was the
addition of this action button.
So technically the Bose QC35's are over 2 and a half years old now.
Which from a product standpoint is a long time cause Sony has been updating their 1000X
headphones year over year, and were currently on the Sony 1000X Mark 3.
So the first thing I want to see upgraded on the Bose QC45's is the addition of USB
C, and I think this is pretty much a given.
Right now most $350 ANC headphones are coming with USB C. Now the reason USB C is a big
deal is because if you have an android device you can charge your phone and headphones with
the same cable, which is super convenient.
But USB C is also able to handle more power than a micro USB port, which as a result will
mean better fast charging.
Right now the QC35's have a rated fast charging of 15 minutes gets you 2 and half hours of
playback time.
Where as the Sony's get you 5 hours from a 10 minute charge.
So I would like to see the Bose QC45's at least match or exceed the M3's fast charging
numbers.
But Bose also has to step up the QC45's battery life.
The Bose QC35's have an advertised battery life of 20 hours, which is below average for
2019 but at least its better than the surface headphones.
But I would like to see the Bose QC45's to have a battery life between 30 and 35 hours
cause the Sony 1000XM3's have an advertised battery life of 30 hours and the Jabra Elite
85H's are slated to have a 32 hour battery life.
Now when it comes to design and comfort there are some minor changes I would like to see
from the Bose QC45's.
One of the best things the Bose QC35's has going for them is that they are perhaps the
most comfortable ANC headphones on the market.
Their ear cups are super spacious and they are without a doubt big head approved.
Obviously I would like the Bose QC45's to keep the same super spacious ear cups but
I would like for Bose to slim down the headband and make it more low profile.
Now something a lot of companies are doing these days is that they're throwing on touchpad
on to their headphones cause it makes them look fancier I guess.
And when they're implemented well, like on the Sony's I don't mind them.
But I personally think Bose should stick to having physical buttons on their QC45's
cause for some casual users choosing between physical buttons or a touch pad could be a
major deciding factor.
Some people just don't want to deal with finicky touch pads or phantom presses.
However, I would like to see Bose to add an additional action button on their left ear
cup.
When the Bose QC35 Series II were released they were the first ANC headphones with Google
assistant integration and you could interact with your voice assistant by using this button.
Now Im fully aware that if you press and hold on the multipurpose button you can also talk
to your voice assistant… but its not as efficient as having a dedicated button
And now since more and more headphones are getting
voice assistant integration, I think voice assistant integration on headphones is here
to stay.
You can even choose which voice assistant you would like to use these days.
But if you do want to have voice assistant integration in your headphones you end up
sacrificing some functionality.
On both the Bose and Sony's you give up the ability to manually toggle between your
active noise cancelation settings.
So if you want to turn your ANC Up or Off you have to open up the App every single time.
Which can be annoying.
So this is why I would like the Bose QC45's to have 2 action buttons, one for your voice
assistant and another one so you can still manually toggle your ANC settings.
You'd be surprised that nobody has been able to get this right yet.
And from a software standpoint Bose desperately needs to add a transparency mode to their
Bose QC45's.
Almost every other pair of premium ANC headphones has this feature.
Sony call it ambient mode and Microsoft calls it enhanced mode.
But basically the headphones will pump in the ambient sound around you so you can still
hear whats going on if you're walking around in the city or work in an office.
And I also think Bose needs to add a quick attention mode like on the Sony's so you
can talk to someone really quickly without having to take off you're headphones like
this.
And I think Bose could do this on their QC45's by pressing and holding down on the dedicated
ANC toggle action button I mentioned earlier.
But the most important thing Bose needs to improve on their Bose QC45 is their active
noise cancelation.
Plainly said, the active noise cancelation on the Bose QC35's struggles to keep up
with the ANC on newer headphones.
And just so you can see for yourself we're going to do ANC test with the Bose QC35's,
the surface headphones, and the Sony 1000XM3's running the latests 4.1.1 firmware update.
The Bose QC35's just aren't able to block out the same amount of noise as the surface
headphone and Sony 1000XM3 across the board.
So obviously the Bose QC45's need to improve the amount of sound they block out.
But it's also crucial Bose reduce the amount of cabin pressure in their ANC.
For some people like myself we just cant wear the Bose QC35's for too long cause we feel
this pressure on our ear drums that sometimes leads to headaches.
And these days cabin pressure in ANC headphones is associated with older or cheaper ANC headphones
cause newer headphones like the 1000XM3's or surface headphones don't have a lot or
any cabin pressure at all.
And finally, Bose also needs to rethink the positioning of their ANC microphones.
Since the Mics on the Bose QC35's are so exposed the Bose QC35's like to pick up
a lot of wind noise.
Where as the ANC microphones on other headphones are recessed into the body thus dramatically
reducing the amount of wind noise their headphones pick up.
Now when it comes to sound quality the Bose QC35's have a neutral sound signature where
the bass just isn't going to hit like some other headphones.
And since sound is subjective some people prefer neutral headphones over bass heavy
headphones.
But I would definitely like to see the Bose QC45's to have an adjustable EQ.
And again since sound is subjective people want to have the ability to adjust the EQ
on their headphones so they can make them sound however they want.
But in general Bose does need to improve the bass on their QC45's cause sometimes the
bass on the QC35's does bottom out in bass heavy music which I feel in unacceptable
for $350 headphones.
But finally I also want to point out Bose's multidevice connectivity.
The Bose QC35's can be connected to two devices at the same time.
Which is great, cause it means you can hot swap from your phone to your computer effortlessly.
Even though this might seem like a basic feature, some headphones like the 1000XM3's can't do
that.
Which is pretty annoying and I think it's a huge oversight on Sony's part.
So obviously I would like the Bose QC45's to have this feature but I would also like
them to improve upon it.
I think if the QC45's can get up to 5 simultaneous connections I think power users with multiple
phones, tablets, and computers would really like that.
But overall that's my wishlist for the Bose QC45, and I think everything is well with
in reason.
I'm not asking for anything over the top and I think these improvements would better position
the Bose QC45's to complete against 2019's newer Headphones.
Cause right now I think the Bose QC35's are lagging behind the competition cause of their
specs and feature set.
Cause as of right now, I'm a little hard-pressed to recommend the Bose QC35's over the Sony
1000XM3 unless you really need those super spacious ear cups.

good afternoon everybody welcome back to
another video here on February 18th 2019
here on your gorgeous Presidents Day
Monday here I am meteorologist David
Schlotthauer in this video we're
actually going to be discussing a couple
of things lots of ice, lots of rain
across the southeast that's gonna lead
to flooding and now we're beginning to
be concerned a little bit about too much
snow now for the Iowa for the Wisconsin
for the Minnesota area that part of the
u.s. also the four corners we're talking
a lot about snow here over the next 10
days so let's get on with the video
because we do have a lot of detail to
cover. So here's a look at the European
model here for Tuesday morning already
and you can see here what's what we're
seeing just a little bit of snow can be
light to moderate at times across the
four corners nothing much there but this
system and this system down here are
both going to be colliding to each other
and this is going to create a lot of
rain and a lot of ice for the parts of
Virginia West Virginia and it's because
of the surface high pressure system the
air the cooler air with it will try to
flow southward under the warmer air and
that's going to create freezing rain
you'll see that here for Wednesday so
you can see here for Tuesday afternoon
this is when I plan on going live on my
youtube channel I'll make sure I make
that today so I can warn I'll let you
guys know about several hours in advance
when that does know live and you can see
here light to moderate to perhaps
heavier rain all across the deep south
and also the south east here including
Georgia Alabama Louisiana Mississippi
Arkansas eastern half of Texas the
Oklahoma area and also for Tennessee and
North and South Carolina seen a lot of
that heavy
a little bit of shower activity there
for Florida alright this system is
really gonna get more mature though so
here's a look at Wednesday morning and
you can see here remember that cooler
air to the north of this this is going
to be the setup for a lot of cooler air
that's gonna underlie the warmer air so
the cooler air digging sneaking below
the warmer air and that's gonna create
an area of freezing rain as this high
moves through the area and that's gonna
create damming we call it pressure
damming when we see this taking place
and that's gonna create that freezing
rain again lots of rain I will have the
rain totals here in just a little bit so
here's a look at now Wednesday afternoon
you can see where that high pressure
actually is still producing a lot of
light to moderate freezing rain all
right so again these areas have had too
much ice this winter instead of snow and
technically instead of rain it's
freezing rain but falls under the
umbrella with the same thing but I'll
tell you what our height it's just not
looking good when you look at ice and
power outages difficulty driving
hazardous in fact dangerous driving
conditions are likely all right lots of
rain down here once again across
Tennessee the southeast their Georgia
Alabama Mississippi then we're gonna
keep an eye okay this is Thursday we're
gonna keep an eye on a deep trough
that's really gonna be taking place it's
located right about here okay it's a
huge trough
I mean it's digging pretty far south and
this is a setup for Colorado rocky lows
too deep in it pretty quickly all right
you'll see that here with the isobars
and with the all the dynamics gonna be
taking place there's also a threat maybe
for severe weather with this one also
all right so lots of snow for the four
corners here over the next four to six
days okay you can see that there for
Phoenix Arizona for the Albuquerque new
map
ago can get some very strong winds some
snow there also for the st. George Utah
area also for Colorado getting in on a
lot of that snow that's going to be
taking place now again here's that
surface low that deepens Saturday
morning now this is what the latest
European model ECM WUF okay models the
one of the most accurate models I could
show you guys and you can see with what
this model actually shows here lots of
snow and some freezing rain with this
too so to make matters worse it's not
looking good okay I've been keeping an
eye on this and I would tell you I would
told you already that I would and you
can see there lots of snow on the north
western and also western and northern
sign of this lots of rain and warmer air
with this that are again there is a
chance for severe weather as this takes
place here muggy warm kind of mild
weather in across the sector right here
where that warmer air is where all that
moisture lies okay so you can see there
may be again that severe weather and
look at that curlicue everyone just look
at the structure like probably a per
this is pretty good almost pretty much
classic here you got to the lower
pressure system here okay you got the
cold front actually you got an occluded
front that takes place right here
splitting off from that is the warm
front that's actually taking place you
got a surface flow right there actually
with that warm front that's going to be
taking place again lots of atmospheric
River moisture down here going to still
continue to bring a lot of rain all
right and this is for Monday and when
you think it's all over no it's not I
think you're gonna still get a lot of
rain over the next 10 days for the
southeast you don't need any more rain
everyone I am telling you what right now
this is gonna lead to a lot of problems
on roadways so turn around do not drown
please I want I'm looking out for your
safety
I worry about every one of you and I
don't want any deaths to occur because
people decide that maybe I'll drive
through the water it's not that deep
because maybe the road below that water
has worn away and then you're driving
through big thick mud and so you know
swampy stuff alright so that's a look at
the radar forecasts I hope I did a good
job on that and we're now gonna look at
the snow forecast here because again
it's now the Upper Midwest and also the
Northern Plains and and the high plains
turn to get in on a lot of the snow and
you can see here this big corridor here
with that snowstorm right now in the
next 10 days this is to change this is
to be announced again this is not going
to be the same but right now 10 to 12
inches across central Iowa northwest
Iowa strong winds heavy snow blizzard
conditions possible maybe 20 inches of
snow there all right Jacqueline Nelson
you live up here right right there it
exactly you're gonna get them on a lot
of snow for the nebraska area a lot of
snow probably 10 to 15 inches and then a
lot of snow here for northwestern
Wisconsin for central Minnesota maybe 10
to 16 inches of snow for the
four-corners here we're looking at 1
to 3 feet of snow just depending on
your elevation if you're in the Phoenix
Arizona area you probably won't see any
snow at all but if you get in the higher
elevations where it's cooler you're
gonna get a lot more snow obviously
there many areas here 6 inches all the
way up to about 3 feet of snow
possible that's that 36 inches that we
have right there noted on the graph okay
so here's a look at now the Cascade
Range more snow on the way but I do see
it being a little higher in elevation so
more above say two or three thousand
feet high more likely above maybe 15
maybe 2000 feet high we're expecting
about 1 to
2 feet of snow some areas maybe even
3 to 4 feet here so good snowpack
hopefully that continues for Oregon and
Washington you guys certainly need more
snow and more rain than we do here in
California obviously and again any areas
down here do not need any more rain at
all as you guys are gonna get flooded
significantly and also ice accumulations
we'll get to that in just a little bit
all right
how much rain over the next pretty much
ten days here again a 10-day forecast 10
days 10 inches of rain possibly for the
Alabama area in the bullseye for the
heaviest rain in here okay so you guys
don't need any more rain Tennessee good
news is they're not in the worst right
now at this point I think the heaviest
rain will be just south of you
but still don't let your guard down
could see maybe fine to maybe seven
inches of rain better than 10 inches
like what we were predicting a couple of
days ago but down here still I'm very
confident that there is going to be a
lot of flood problems on roadways and a
lot of concerns even in Kentucky and in
southern Indiana southern Ohio gonna see
problems out there North and South
Carolina Georgia the Louisiana Arkansas
Eastern Texas too much rain in these
areas alright so again that's the sort
of thing that leads to flooding and once
again I'm gonna let you guys look at the
map here over the next 10 days once
again just a closer perspective I went
through this already I don't want to
mention it again just like I said please
be careful if you are driving because
there could be some landslides some
mudslides and stuff over the
Appalachians you don't want to get stuck
in that obviously then down here I've
over the next basically nine and a half
to ten days here you can see where most
of the rain is in a closer sector off
you obviously we're seeing possibly five
to nine inches in some areas again this
is the
potential this is a 5% chance that you
will see 10 inches in the next 10 days
but it just gives you an idea that oh
maybe it is we're in trouble if we get
flooded out you can see the previous
model only so 9.2 inches this model
shows 10 inches sharps so we'll
certainly monitor this very closely
because it just means more flood
problems for your area all right now
this is not rendering very well for
Florida obviously we're gonna see what
we can do here and it only goes out to
174 hours but I've seen about a quarter
of an inch all the way up to about 3/4
of an inch of rainfall there over the
next 10 days at least for central and
southern Florida northern Florida could
get a little bit more now probably two
inches but southern Florida looks at
hang in there with below about a half an
inch of rain so if you don't like the
rain go down across the South where
there's not going to be any flawed
problems or go north where there's not
going to be any heavy rain concerns
there all right so we're gonna get to
weather models and we're gonna look
actually at the ice accumulation
forecast here for the South for the
mid-atlantic states here and this only
goes out actually 60 hours so this is
going to render further and further and
this is the latest model here I got the
latest model run here 12z run and you
can see with what the latest prediction
actually shows here between a quarter of
an inch all the way up to probably
getting close to an inch and a half of
ice accumulations right in here also
sleet sleet and ice and some snow
accumulations here really gonna make
travel very difficult to nearly
dangerous okay that's the whole threat
here that we're looking at so lots of
ice a little bit of snow lots and lots
of rain and you can see here in the
higher elevations here of the Georgia
and all
so the valleys three inches okay oops
why did I eat mean to click on that so
you can see they're even four inches I
thought I just saw four inches there let
me see here and yeah like they're 4

[Devlog #2 - Feb 2019] 🖋 Updates + Creative Journey - Duration: 4:37.
Hey friends it's me Jenni here happy to bring you a new video. At the start of
2019 I made a goal to post a dev blog update once a month to let my channel
know what I'm up to in case you're new here, welcome! I'm Jenni
I'm an avid streamer on Twitch who's learning Unity 3d and other skills
related to game development. My background is in art modeling, fire dancing,
performance arts but more recently I'm obsessed with learning how
to make games and yeah sharing the journey with my friends here on Youtube & beyond.
First thing I wanted to point out is that my voiceis in this cartoon Smash on the
Planet of the Congos" it's a Smash Brothers collab that I found out about
through Newgrounds, which by the way for anyone who's curious about getting
started in voice acting I definitely recommend the forums on Newgrounds they
have all kinds of collaborative opportunities I also submitted some
lines for an upcoming cartoon by the BEAR trap
I was in this one right here - I got to play the giraffe. This animator is really
cool I can't believe it's not famous yet because he put so much effort into his
cartoons, humor is on point sometimes, sometimes vulgar, but I liked it I
thought it was really fun to be a part of his cartoons in the past and I can't for the next one.
I even recorded my lines for the bear trap while live on Twitch, so that was
really fun too. Another cool thing is that I got to be a part of two podcasts
in January the first one was a podcast by Beauty Gamers hosted by @Coolkat_Terri
The BeautyGamers are a Gwitch community and team and it was so much
fun to be on the podcast. The other podcast I got to be a part of was with
Coin-Drop.com, a really cool site where they do reviews,
industry news, and they even made me their featured streamer on the front of
the website so there I am I'm on episode number 34 for this one so I
definitely recommend this website and check out that episode if you can.
As for game development updates: I got a programming lesson on improving
my indie game that I started a while back we did a live stream programming
lesson on how to make the inventory system for this game so let's let you
see right here. I was also able to put the granny character in my
project so she'll be the one delivering the quests in the game. I'm still working
on the actual storyboard for the game but trying to decide if I want to make
all the assets by hand or if I want to use some asset packages
so it looks good, or what. I even 3d modeled my first car from when I was a kid, a
1971 Chevy Nova and that's going to be in there as well. This game will definitely take
quite a while I'm not sure how long before it'll be out or anything but I'll
keep you posted it's an exciting challenge to try to
learn how to make video games because it's hard it's hard and it's fun and
it's a good challenge it's a good mental challenge and a creative challenge as well
one thing I did was finally make a second best clips compilation from my
Twitch channel I wish I could make these more often but yes finally got this
video done. As for other games that I've been playing on stream recently I
played quite a bit of Spider-Man but haven't finished it yet .. I played
through Alan Wake the action horror game, I downloaded and tried Omikron which
has David Bowie in it but I can't stream it yet because it's so old it kind of
messes with my gaming laptop's video driver so I need to figure out how to
get it to work well for streaming. Now that I'm local to the Seattle area
I was curious to see what types of opportunities they might have available
and yeah I saw that there was a talent agency around here so I signed up and
got these awesome headshots believe it or not I used to do quite a bit of our
model in San Francisco I even found this little card for when I got to model at Lucas Arts. pretty cool huh
last piece of news is they I updated my Patreon page and I just wanted to say
thank you very much not just to you my Patreon supporters but to everyone else

good morning good morning ladies and gentlemen welcome welcome to the truck
Rudy show you this fine morning we're getting a little bit of drizzle so I'm
having to use my wipers again a little bit this morning but that's okay right
but we have just gotten offloaded here a little bit ago and now we are on our way
to be called Illinois ax to grab a reload and then head back to Winnipeg
yeah everything goes according to plan I could possibly be home tomorrow night
and then leave out again I guess on Thursday but we'll see how that goes
according to the load offer I'm supposed to deliver that on Wednesday but I don't
think that's gonna happen probably we'll be dropping it at the yard tomorrow
night or maybe even at the customer who knows I don't know I keep wiping my
windchill and it keeps giving me like this layer of I don't know like a
brownish layer or whatever so it's like dirt or whatever on the windshield but
no well just going to have to constantly use the
windshield wipers that's all yeah looks like it's gonna be another miserable day
today very expecting another snowstorm or something coming through a year so
the weather is definitely not cooperating with us today in yesterday
my new yesterday morning it was pretty bad but then later on it started getting
much better at least I wasn't running in the snow was still cloudy but I wasn't
running in the snow right but yeah we filled up this morning after
I took off from the Iowa 80 truck stop only about 10 miles down the road there
is a love-struck stop there so I pulled in there real quickly and topped off the
tanks because I was down to a quarter of a tank already and so now I'm going to
go see if we can find another love's out here somewhere before we get to decomp
if not after I leave D called paranoia I'll be going to work so deployed right
and I know there's a lot there but I always stop in and
get me a shower I need one definitely today is the mandatory shower take one
yesterday but didn't really find a good place and didn't want to pay for it
either so today we filled and now we got a free shower at least up the love right
Tod's go down to d call to get our reload it's supposed to be ready to go
and make our way home just did our trailers switch ladies and gentlemen
that's right I'm really really happy about that
that means I can get out of here yes I'm looking forward to that that's for sure
continue on this world
I am trying to get out of here because there's another storm I don't know if
storm really but another system that's coming true right so I want to try and
get out of here as fast as I can and as far as I can so yeah I might go a little
ways before I make me a bit of a pit stop I got 5 hours and 13 minutes of
drive time remaining why not take full advantage of that right so that's hammer
down and go down the road a little ways and then we'll take us a break and
probably thinking they're close to portage Wisconsin there is another loves
up there I'm thinking maybe I'll just go up to there and then take a shower over
there but it's still fairly early in the morning right it's only 1046 Central
Standard Time so we still have lots of time in the day left so yeah I should be
able to make it down to Winnipeg tomorrow no problem that's what I'm
thinking unless the weather is going to be pretty bad but other than that I
think I should be just fine here we go guys
up to this love truck stop up here and we are finally
gonna go inside and sick as that much-needed shower but just before I got
here I started having some issues with my head
I don't know what's going on it just son started crackling
so I restarted it
that might be shot so I just got my padow was right to connect to that
I won't work on that one either but I am able to connect my phone to the radio on
the truck no problem there so
I'm pretty sure it's my headset some odd reason it's dying on me put let's go
take us a shower and take my half an hour break and continue on right I'm
telling you guys that shower was awesome and now we're back in the truck
and I went and got out my iPad out here because I kind of wanted to check to see
if my Bluetooth would connect to that and no luck and I got my laptop out here
as well I was just finishing updating my my website and all that and now though
he that's a good song right there I just finished heating up some lunch
right here so let's go ahead and that was a good lunch and continue on with
our journey guys time to get out of this loves truck stop guys yeah we had our
half an hour break and all that good stuff we had our half an hour break
earlier too but you know I needed another one to get a few extra hours
right but yeah we took and we taken our good shower and all that good stuff I
went and scheduled my video so this way you guys can watch my video today
updated my website and all that fun stuff and now we're good to go
had me a bit of a lunch or whatever you want to call it that was definitely nice
I like that man this is hard to try and keep this windshield clean it just does
not want to stay clean oh boy oh boy that's a it's a job and a half trying to
keep this windshield clean I'm telling you guys it really is but here we go
let's make our way closer towards Minneapolis I'm not sure exactly how far
we'll give tonight yet I didn't really look at that yet cuz I figured well it's
quarter after two right and I still have five and a half hours
remaining a drive time so I can you're a good little while yet before I need to
worry about finding me a parking spot somewhere right
so it's a day out I'm just gonna go ahead and hammer down it once I decide
it's time to quit and we quit right that's usually how I operate anyways but
I feel much better now after a a good shower and had me a bite to eat it just
gives you that energy you know and all like you you're dragging and you're
dragging and then you take a shower and have a white tea that just gives you
that little energy right and you know that's hammer down and get on down a
road and see what happens for the rest of the day
right all right guys it is the next morning and I hurried her as far as I
possibly could and that was Clearwater Manasota
and the reason being is because we are supposed to be getting some sort of
snowstorm and what you can see right now we got quite a bit of snow on our
windshield here already so yeah I'm just getting up here this next morning here
and getting ready to leave getting all my files out of the GoPros and all that
fun stuff right and then we're gonna go ahead and get out of here right so with

but in our tests, it didn't perform as expected,
and you will see now, with all the details.
Google's smartphone brings the same Snapdragon 845 found in its smaller brother
and algo the same amount of memory, but ended up delivering an inferior result.
In our speed test we put the device to open popular apps and games,
while timing to see how long it takes for it to complete the task.
On the first lap it took 54 seconds to open all apps,
the Pixel 3 was just a second faster, but if we compare it with the OnePlus 6T and the Mate 20 Pro,
the fastest Androids now,
the 3 XL took 17 seconds more to finish.
The worst time was found on the second lap - even with 4 GB of RAM,
the Pixel 3 XL failed to keep the apps opened, what made it take 55 seconds to reopen everything,
while the Chinese rivals humiliate needing just 15 seconds to complete the tass.
It's interesting to see that the 3 XL managed to be worse than the Pixel 3 in this test
even with both having the same specs and the same Android version.
If Pixel 3 XL's memory management doesn't work how it should,
its brute performance, at least, is not affected.
Contradicting what we saw before, here it surpasses Pixel 3 with ease
showing higher numbers in all of the tools.
It also stays at the same level from other Snapdragon 845 devices.
In case you mind benchmark numbers, the Pixel 3 XL leaves nothing to be desired.
Google reduced the battery size in its flagship comparing to the previous version,
like what was expected, the Pixel 3 XL ended up delivering a worse performance.
But it still surpasses the Pixel 3.
It's just a 2 hour difference regarding usage time between the 2018 models,
but it's enough for who doesn't have a heavy use pattern nor runs lots of games.
The charger delivers the same power, and because it has a smaller battery,
the Pixel 3 XL ends up spending less time conected to the power outlet than its predecessor.
Anyway, we still need to wait for almost two hours for that
what it a long time, considering that there are flagships capable of doing it in just one hour or even less.
Even with a battery considerably larger than the one found inside the Pixel 3, the 3 XL got only a few extra minutes
in the video playback test, delivering almost 12 hours of battery life.
When recording we had almost four hours and a half, this being a bigger difference compared to the Pixel 3,
and staying at the same level as many 2018 flagships.
In video calls using Skype we had almost the same battery performance found on the Pixel 3 xl,
but delivering half of that the OnePlus 6T and Mate 20 Pro are capable of.
If the Pixel 3 XL disappoints in RAM management and do de RAM and doesn't keep the apps opened
in the background for a long time, at least in games we didn't find any issue
with Google's device.
Here we had the best performance we could expect from a flagship
with PUBG, Asphalt 8 and Injustice 2 running at 30 fps, while others at stable 60 fps.
The battery also yields well when gaming, reaching an average of six hours.
The Pixel 3 XL is a potent smartphone that offers the purest Android experience.
It was mandatory for it to be the fastest Android on the market - or at least rank close to the top fastest devices,
but that doesn't happen.
A flaw on the RAM management makes it impossible for the device to hold an app opened in the background for a long time
and the weirdest thing is that the Pixel 3 doesn't behave that way.
If you're in search for the fastest Android on the market the Mate 20 Pro or OnePlus 6T would be the best options.
Not to mention that both Chinese flagships also deliver great a battery life and better autonomy than the Pixel 3 XL.
