Youtube daily report Sep 15 2017

Today I'm going to build this shoulder rig that will allow us

to record higher quality videos with DSLR cameras.

As you can see it's collapsible, making transportation easier,

and also allowing greater ease of use on a tripod.

I'll assemble it to show you how it works.

This is the follow focus calibration tool.

When I turn it, I move this cable side to side,

focusing without taking my hands off the handle.

Other systems I've tried force you to take one of your hands off to focus,

making footage more unsteady.

It's a very simple system, but after a few tries, it's turned out to be quite efficient.

I've developed this attachment system for my tripod's quick release plate

so that I can swap cameras without changing the plate.

Mounting the camera is quite easy.

We only need to insert it from behind, place the focus wheel over the cable and lower the

camera until the cable is a bit tighter.

I've left some leeway in order to use lenses of various sizes.

Here I can adjust the distance between the eye and the camera screen, and also the counterweight.

Although this does make the set a bit heavier, it also makes the recording process easier

and more stable by distributing the weight on the shoulder.

I can also adjust the distance between the handles and the follow focus control for my convenience.

I've made a few tests in my workshop and I'm finding it very easy to use.

The weight is more distributed, causing less vibrations, and I can focus without making

any abrupt movements.

The cable is enough for almost the entire focal length of my 24/70mm lens,

although I rarely use the whole length in a single take...

At any rate, we should try to focus automatically on the halfway point of the depth of field

we're working with, with the focus control in the middle position.

This will give us enough leeway to focus as we record.

This is the 3D file included in the plans on my website.

You can see how simple the design is.

All we need to build it is some pieces of plywood, four V-groove bearings and a few screws.

Another interesting feature is that I can remove the battery

without having to detach the camera.

Now I will show you how I made it.

First I printed the templates to glue onto the wood and cut more easily.

I mark and drill all the holes with bit of the appropriate width.

I also countersink where necessary.

With a jigsaw I machine all the adjustment grooves and cut along the outline.

I'll sand the edges now with a disc sander.

I mark the rebate on the bottom to couple the two parts, adjust the height of the column

drill and using a 40mm bit I drill a few holes that will help carving out the material.

I finish the process by hand.

With the table saw I cut the remaining necessary pieces.

This is the part that rests on the shoulder.

I mark the adjustment canals and machine them just like before.

Now I'll cut the rest of the pieces with the jigsaw.

I glue these two pieces together to make the shoulder rest thicker.

I machine the follow focus control and here I drill with a bit 0.5mm less wide than the

inner diameter of the bearings I'm going to use.

These rebates are for the threaded rod of the lower bearings.

And now I screw in the piece onto which I'll screw the upper bearings.

I cut and machine all the parts for the camera's attachment system.

With these pieces I can lift up and lower the camera without risking it falling.

The system must run smoothly to make this easier.

Now it's time to machine these pieces at an angle to fasten the quick release plate.

The hole must be one millimeter less wide than the release plate,

so we need to be very accurate.

Using plywood leftovers I will make the handles with this hole saw bit.

I drill two pieces for each handle with the diameter of the threaded insert,

without drilling the whole way through.

After gluing all the pieces together I sand them a little.

I finish making the hole and place the threaded insert.

Of course, we can also make these handles with wood and in one piece.

Now would be a good time to sand and varnish all the pieces.

And now I can start assembling the entire device.

First the follow focus control.

This piece of steel pipe will help me turn the control more easily.

The last nut must be a locking nut.

I put the bearings in place, first the upper ones, and now the lower ones.

I'll glue the threaded rod with cyanoacrylate.

I'll make the hole in the wood eye screws smaller and put them in.

Now I'll put the cable in place, I'll use a clamp like this for convenience.

I put a brake in the control.

Before moving on I inserted a piece of heat-shrink pipe

and at the end of the cable I use this bicycle brake stopper.

The inner mechanism of a choc strip could do the trick, too.

I'll use an bicycle brake cable, although I could also use any twisted steel wire.

At any rate, it should be very flexible and no more than 1mm wide.

Now I heat up the pipe so that it will shrink around the cable and try it to see if it works.

I also glue a bit of cushioning material to protect the shoulder rest.

I will use these weights I had lying around in my workshop,

although I think I'll need more weight in the future.

I could also use a 2kg weight plate, like the ones you'd find in a gym.

It depends on the weight of your recording equipment.

I hope I can record a video outdoors to try this support soon.

See you next time!

Shattered Glass! The LBB Almera Never Ceases to Impress - Duration: 23:01.

Nice! Like, real nice!

[A]: The safety kicked in.

Oh, did it?

Wow, what'd you think! Right on time!

1 minute earlier

You ready, Ando?

Everyone is ready. You can start now

Hey there! It's Loud Sound, and we're testing out the cam. Ando got in the frame by accident.

Makes a nice start for the review, huh?

This is Ando, and this is Ramazan, he's the camerahomie today.

Today we're reviewing their Almera which has become an item of cult in Russia,

and on our channel, too, actually 'cuz ths is - what? - one, two, three - the fourth review

Ando and Ramazan changed something in their Almera again, and it became a bit louder.

Have you crossed the 165 line already?

[A]: Yeah.

What's your current max result?

[A]: 165.2 dB

For those new, the car is known to be exploited as hell.

It's been torn many times, it's rolled around half the country

And one of the unique features is that its SP is something not every armourcar has.

And this is actually a daily use car, and a sedan.

Today we're gonna show the car i a slightly closer prospective than in other reviews.

We're gonna ask Ando some questions and we'll take a look at all the injuries the ar's gotten over its life.

And, for sure, we'll turn it on. We don't know what's gonna go down in these premises

Alex has agreed to handle all the breakage costs

Or was it Ando? Dunno. Ah, let them sort their business out in their brotherly Armenian way.

But we'll sure kick it up.

Let's start under the hood, right? Is there anything to show at all?

Here are the bananas. Y'all know where the bananas root from

It all started with our reviews and up to this, see? They've even made their way up to logos.

I get the bananas. But why the monkey?

Hey, is it smoking a joint there?

Hey, look, it's a roll-your-own.

Wow, that was obvious.

There's still no battery in the hood. This is basically a transition between the alternators and the rear batteries.

Pure wrong SPL.

There ae three alternators here, with the total power of almost 1K A.

The engine is 8-valve, right?

48 valves?

Oh, it's 48 Liters. The volume, right.

It's a 16 V emgine. Ando's cheating.

Okay, now we can see right away that the car is green.

And here we see its not green at all. How do you explain this color to traffic cops?

I mean, look. Green on the one side, and not green on the other side.

There are still these ris that are really pretty but are really hard to get to the competition site alive.

The door's gotten torn a little. Just a teeny bit.

And here's some more, too.

Alex, can you by any chance fix this crack? Maybe with ceramics or somethiing?

Here, it's blue, and green here. You now you're never selling this to anybody, right?

Neither are we selling the Hummer, tho.

The front's had some changes. Used to be Ruby here, now these are Pride Solo. Are these the v.2?

We've recently had one of these on review, and the one alone made me deaf.

I heard whistling in my ears for 5 minutes. And here, there are what? 12 of them?

12 pairs. And here are those tweeters you won't find anymore. And dunno if they'll be ever produced again.

The covers have gotten tor a little.

Well, not /have/ gotten but rather are being.

[A]: We've tried tons of stuff, glues and compounds.

FYI, this is probably one of the loudest cars in the world. I mean among the daily systems.

Sure, gotta draw a line between daily and SPL. Clearly, some make 170 dB with their sub only.

But this here is a completely different buddy. You can jus hop in it and hit the road.

Almost comfortably.

It would be dishonest of us to say 'comfortably'. Arty, for one, can't fit in here.

He goes like this.

Really, he sits like this in here.

We still have this cozy couch.

And 6 STs. Initially, there were two 15", then there were four 12" ones.

And now, there are six 15" subs.

In the rear we got Pride's Violets.

People on the stret can hear you loud and clear.

But not always they enjoy it.

The rear doors -- well, the interior was hardly ever altered.

You can have pasengers there. They'll have to be really flat, tho.

You can get some flat chicks there.

And this - they probably had some extra spray paint, so they gave it to a stoned Chinese guy who painted their digits.

Or is it an inscription? Oh, it says somerhing!

[A]: Yeah.

Right. Well, your handwriting is way off.

[A]: You just shouldn't give spray paint to Ramazan.

In the trunk, we still have these speakers. From what I get they're just accessories now, right?

Or do you use them?

[A]: They work.

It's just I feel like there's nothing you can hear behind this front.

[A]: Not really.

So they do add to it, huh?

In the trunk we still have six 5500 amps.

So this makes for three bridges, right?

[A]: Yep.

Each bridge --

[A]: We've rearranged the commutation scheme.

And how is it now?

[A]: An amp per a sub.

So each amp feeds a sub.

This is some crazy ass cooling. We turned it off 'cuz if we didn't you wouldn't be able to hear me now.

It humms big time but there's no other way.

Because this many amps in a close trunk space - that's impressive.

Some don't get why you need cooling. Well, your amp has certain efficiency.

If the efficienct rate is, say, 70% thten the remaining 30% is the heat it emits.

You can calculate how much heat it emits if there are six 5 KW amps of 70% efficiency

And if there's no cooling the body heats up and the air around the amps heats up.

And in any case the hot air goes up.

And the air will heat up until the amps go into safety mode.

Many get scared when amps do that. Safety is okay. When there's none - that's a trouble.

It's bad when it doesn't kick in.

And this body change we omited last time.

You're welcome to leave your suggestions on what this is in comments

Those to have seen it must've gone nuts.

But most - trust me, tens of thousands of people have no clue what that is

This is a part of the enclosure. So it's a part of the arrangement.

The guys lacked space to fit six 15" subs in there. And even now they had to tighten up a bit.

And so the decision was made to remove the rear glass.

And the arrangement was extended there. So this is the port, and inside, it's like this.

So here's how you place six 15" in a sedan.

The box construction helped a lot here.

They are not round, they have these filed off edges. Without those, it would be impossible to place 6 subs.

They are stuck here by a hair. It's really difficult to place these subs here.

And the installation order, too.

With the seat, extreme measues were taken. Brand-new seats were crafted.

They may not be the most convenient in the world but people can get in them. Not all people, but they do.

Arty can't fit in there.

There's the 701 processor. And this is its RUX. This is the reote control unit.

And there's also this Alpine 137 HU.

Those who missed the previous reviews may have noticed the custommade steering wheel.

There is pretty much no steering wheel but another sub in its place.

Ando, do you get in some competition classes? Don't they say, like, 'You have a sub here'?

Are the judges smart enough not to?

Well, this is a steering wheel made to look like a sub.

[A]: We've reconed it recently.

Oh, even so! Well, it's a passive radiation source, too.

If I didn't like you and I were a judge, I'd get up your asses for this.

It is a sub! Look! It has a basket. Okay, there's no magnet in it.

As for the format readability, it turned out pretty cool for this level.

I mean, this is an SPL install but many SQers could envy here.

So we have a processor and a ton of sources. We have iPhone, BT, a USB-drive, and we even have an iPad here.

It doesn't come off, does it?

[A]: We've glued it. Used to come off.

Okay, so you can listen to music from it, or just watch movies, right?

[A]: Or run guidance on it.

Yeah, or a guidance.

I found a flaw in this install. There's o way you can see the speed on the speedometer.

[A]: It's tanned.

Check this out. Look how I'm sitting here.

I'm stuck with my head against the roof. And here's how I see the road and the steering wheel.

And here is the dash panel.

In EMMA they would've probably deprived you of a couple of points. Dunno if the covered dashboard counts

but if tweeters block the side mirrors, they do fine you. These doors, however, don't block anything.

I'm looking straight at the moment.

Well, if I raise my head and stick out of the window I might see something there.

This really turned out to be a nice pillbox. One piece of battlecar.

Took a lot of sacrifice, tho.

But there's hardly a SUV - in fact, there is no SUV in Russia that can

Some might win in some points like in stability or use convenience

But in total, it does beat up many sedans and even some of the armourtrucks.

We're checking out the frequencies.

We're sound chacking the premises. See where we goy? We're not checking cars anymore.

We just need to make sure we don't break anything here.

Or it would be too bad if we broke something. Right, Alex?

It's okay. Turn it on for now. Nothing's happened yet. I think nothing will.

Meybe this --

How much was it now?

Wow! Look! It started snowing!

Stop. What the hell is falling here, Alex?

Dunno. Somrthing's falling. Is it plaster? Where would it come from if you have a metal roofing?

Let's turn it on again to see where this comes from?

Alex, you're the boss. You tell me. Do we turn it on again? Okay, let's try it.

Today we got a usual review of an unusual car.

Btw, we never mentioned this thing, did we, Ando?

Ando wouldn't cheat like Nick the Termite who loaded the thing with batteries and now is riding around with no batteries in the car.

We discussed that matter later. If you carry batteries in that thing, those batteries are not in your car, are they?

Ando, on the other hand, carries there their socks and undies, right?

This is quite an unusual car. And this is a huge respect to you, guys, 'cuz you -- it's still falling on my head!

'Cuz you've made 100% of use of a sedan. And when the 100% was over you did this. It takes balls to do this.

Just recently, somebody wrote me, an arrangement like Ando and Ramazan's is either unique or does not work wih anyone but them.

And 165.2 dB result is really kickass.

[A]: It's not the limit.

Well, yeah, I keep sating sedan, but usually people mean in sedan it's in the trunk.

But the point is still people tend to use hatchbakcs for walled or BP arrangements, and here --

[A]: It's inconvenient to do it in a sedan.

Yeah, they wouldn't take up the easy way here.

[A]: We didn't even have to build a BP, nothing like that.

This is really cool.

Out of the flaws, I'd troll the seats for sure.

Well, this is a kind of a compromise beteen daily and competitions 'cuz you had to sit in it somehow

but there was no place, so you had to go with this.

So you can still take a joyride along the city, but --

ut you'll need to be like Ando or me, not really tall.

Arty will have to bend his head like this.

And his neck will kill him.

[A]: I have another car so in the summer, I always ride that one.

Anyway. Thanks, Ando, for coming down again. I think we've done reviews of your car most of all.

And make sure you subscribe to Alex. I'll e honest, I don't give a damn about that CeramicPro,

but Alex is the kinest man. Not only he let us in to make the footage -- Hey, look, they're up to something there.

What are you up to?

They're about to throw a tantrum, huh?

We've shattered some glass here, and he's not even saying a word to us.

Okay, that wsn't us. That was probably there the whole time.

Now he'll need to check it up. If this fell down, you never know for sure water won't leak.

Yeah, subscribe to Alex. Here's your link.

Just subscribe because you know why?

Why should they subscribe to you?

[Al]: I'm a straight-up guy.

'Cuz you?.. I mean, yeah, he is a straight-up guy but you need to subscribe to his instagram

because he's got some cars here. Some cars you won't even see in Jeremy Clarkson's Instagram.

He's not even on Instagram.

Yeah, subscribe to CeramicPro. But those bottles - don't buy them.

Because what the heck so you need them for? You can't use them anyway, right?

You need to come in, and he will do the job for you

Let's try and apply it, huh? He said it could cure this crack here.

Can you fix this, Alex?

How?

[Al]: You grab this compound.

Let me see.

[Al]: And, like...

And there's this WOOSH Cat, right?

That's it? Oh, this is tuning, Armenian style.

Hey, bro, don't look there. Look here. It's good here, huh?

This was LOUD SOUND.

Ando and Ramazan came by. Ramazan is behind the cam, as usual. Oh, Alex got caught on tape.

Bye, everyone. Live LOUD.

Oh, here comes Ramazan. Say something. Was it difficult to put this car together?

I know it was. Ah, we can't here you anyway. The mic only hears me.

Hey, Arty. Let's show them how I can play it up with my foot.

So this is SPL, 80 lvl already.

You've never seen anything like this We've installed the JL Audio processor,

we've got an Astell&Kern player. No optics for now, so its via aux.

So the point here is, I can play it with my foot. Check this out.

For that, you need to clamp it like this

So I clampm it here, kick up the bass, and now check out my foot.

It's off now, and now --

it's on. And if you press down the whole foot --

Look. Here goes a single toe

So at the moment I'm the feed source, and I'm earthed.

We don't know yet why this is happening. For now, we're just playing around with it. Maybe we'll burn something.

But this is the fub we're having.

Setup is fun, they said.

What are you, guys, doing?

[K]: Brazzers.

Brazzers thing going on here, huh? Look, Tigran's head is there. If Kolya lets go now

Tigran won't stand a chance to get out on his own.

[K]: So he's not going to the seaside.

Fibra de Carbono varillas Tienda Tent Carbon Fiber Poles (Subtitles) - Duration: 3:41.

Usually I don´t bring trekking poles

I bring some when I need them depending on the tent

but I don´t like them, because I don´t use them

I carry half a kilo just for the tent!

this poles are made from Carbon Fiber

they are really light

usually are expensive

they where sent to me to test them

I got 2 poles

125 cm each

you can compact them in 3 parts 42 cm each

in this case trying them with the Lanshan 2

with the 2x 125 cm each

carbon fiber, each one weights just 60 grs

so both 120 grs

they have 1 cm diameter

that´s 10 milimeters

that´s the right spot

less diameter will be too thin

more, they will gain too much weight

I´m very happy with them, as they reduce weight and space

and for now, they work great

this one is

an Axemen tent

In the past tried the Black Hawk

but this one, still don´t know the name

it´s similar, but with just one layer

The tent will try it out another day with more humidity

to see how terrible the condensation will be

today just wanted to show you these poles

I'm sitting in the YouTube Lounge and I was just asking Mirrah and Zig what I should be talking about in this video *laughs*

Mirrah's sitting off-camera right there. Zig is standing over here.

This is the behind-the-scenes breakdown of how shoot happens like this. Nothing fancy.

No special tech setup. This is raw. VidCon's been a great experience, you know.

As musicians going into a space with other YouTubers, I didn't know what to expect.

but we kicked off at the launch party Friday night. Bumping shoulders with the

who's who of Australian YouTube. We got to connect with a bunch of other

YouTubers and then we just been hanging around. Well, hang on. I gotta say this story.

We were at the launch party, right. At the back wall, they had these wooden

boards propped up on a wall and it had art all over it and people were signing their

name on the board. And you know hip-hop graffiti principles... it's all about

getting the right spot the right position on that wall so your name

stands out and it's remembered, right.

I felt like Rumi from The Get Down.

I felt like Shaolin Fantastic from The Get Down coz Zig helped me get a chair

we set it up and I tagged my name right on top like a boss. Taking over

YouTube I told you man, a couple videos ago. I told you taking over YouTube. Watch out YouTube.

So I signed my name on the top and then Zig got rid of the chair before

security even know what happened.

That's why we say it's like Shaolin Fantastic from The Get Down.

I was wearing my blue and grey Timberlands with paint dripped all over

when I was tagging cuz I'm an amateur. I'm amateur. I don't tag but...

L-FRESH The Fantastic Grandmaster Zig. In the blink of an eye.

So that's how we kicked off VidCon. I got to speak on a panel. Well, I got to speak

as a guest of YouTube's keynote presentation on the opening day of

VidCon, which was pretty special for me. I got to speak about my involvement in the

Creators For Change program and also my journey from being a musician and what

that's been and most of what I do is in the offline world you know it's it's

outside of this what we are in now so it was great to kind of be able to talk

about that journey of the offline space and now moving into the online space as

part of YouTube's keynote, where they were revealing their new features, you know.

Talking about YouTube VR, talking about the app, their changes to

the app and the desktop functionality and to be with the execs and the program

managers, the managers of YouTube talking about that so that was that was really cool.

And then from there I've been hanging out and getting to meet awesome

people around YouTube. I think the highlight for VidCon is being able to

hang out in the YouTube Lounge and meet the awesome creators from Australia and

around the world and the people who work at Google and YouTube were really really

nice people and very supportive of creators. But the Australian creators, man.

Shout out to the community here. Moving into this space, it's like okay

now I've been introduced to new peers. It's not just now music and music

industry. I'm now in the YouTube space and in the creator space and everyone's

been so welcoming and so supportive. It's been really great to be a part of that world.

So what I've learned, some key learnings, I suppose that I think

resonate not just on platforms like YouTube and the digital space but in the

real world is authenticity. Being yourself.

Everyone highlights that non-stop. Be yourself and don't try to be like

somebody else. I think that's been reinforced again and again every time

I've been at a YouTube event and just be genuine about it. Connect and engage with

the people who support you so hence why I'm doing stuff like this: to connect

with you, to people watching and the people who've been supporting my musical

journey from day 1 or wherever it might have been that you

jumped on this musical journey. To be able to better have this dialogue, you know.

So we can continue to build, grow. You can see my journey and I can be

shown your journey, your world. So you know, that's been a key takeaway.

The other thing, I think, has been just realizing everybody's individual journey

or collective journey, whether they're groups or individuals who are making

stuff for YouTube and for online. Everyone's got their own journey and it's been

great to meet people from different backgrounds from across the country, who

represent where they're from and their story and they do so in a way that's so

authentic and true to them. That's been really cool and that's been great

to see. Just again, appreciating the peers in this space. What else have we been doing?

We've been hanging out around Melbourne, getting around. Oh man, we went to

Zig. What was the name of that place? Abyssinian? Abyssinian in Kensington

Shout out Abyssinian in Kensington. Yo! I swear. I lived in Melbourne for like 2

or 3 years, right. And in that last year in particular, I worked out of Footscray

and I got exposed to Ethiopian food. I must have been Ethiopian in a past life

because as soon as I found Ethiopian food... my God.. My world changed.

I would buy injera bread and make some Punjabi dal and eat it. You eat the dal with

injera like it was roti, you know. I love it. It's amazing so we went to the

Abyssinian last night in Kensington and pigged out on some vegan Ethiopian food.

My God, it was the best. Mirrah's been busy busy busy making her own videos

Mirrah come say hello to the people. Mirrah's been busy making her own videos Hey guys!

She's made a vlog of her journey here at VidCon and she... man, get this right.

Making a handful of videos... she's already got YouTuber HankGreen in a video.

That was an honour dude. I swear to God. You know what's beautiful

about when you meet people from the YouTube world, everyone is humble and it was

just wonderful at the end of the day I met Hank Green not because he's the

VidCon co-founder nor the legend of old-school YouTube. He just

happens to be a great human so again what L-FRESH The LION was saying about

authenticity, you know, you're meeting people that are

authentic and just themselves and love to share their world and it just happens to

be on a social network so... And you know what else like when you go up to people

I've noticed this, Mirrah has this magic, right. Where you can get to, you can

go up to anybody it doesn't matter who it is, where you're from, what status you

might be at, Mirrah breaks down all those barriers just by being her. A goofball. Basically.

And people like they want to get down with that. No matter what, you know. So she had

Hank Green. She had Jamie and Nikki. So big ups to Jamie and Nikki, Hank Green,

L-FRESH The LION even featured. Like hello I'm gonna take advantage. He's my friend like

why wouldn't you take advantage of your own superstar, next to you. Aw come on now.

And then I met an amazing fellow creator. Her name is Sarah Chedra. Shout out to Sarah.

Brand new as well like myself, so it's beautiful, and then... she calls herself

the queen of awkward. Yeah the queen awkward and I love that. The Mind of Sarah Chedra.

Because she knows who she is and she's being authentic and comfortable with who she is, you know.

And that's the beauty about YouTube. Another person, though actually...

The twins. Persons. No Frills Twins who I met actually at Female Creators, so big up

to YouTube for introducing me to fellow YouTube creators that are females and

part of Share Some Good which is why we're here which is actually why

we're doing this. Share Some Good guys has exposed us to this world, you know and so shout

out to the Share Some Good family, to the Love Frankie family. We love you.

But you know what. He's been talking all around this thing.

We came here because, not only is it a YouTube event, and yes he's been doing

YouTube stuff. He actually was just guest speaker yesterday, so mr. humble over here

Oh I already spoke about. Oh you did? Oh good. He's coming out of his shell and being brave and

letting people know his proudness. I'm the shit... *laughs* Like a boss.

No but it was really exciting. I always get excited to see my friend get on stage and be heard cuz then

throughout the day we had beautiful people coming up to him and saying

Hey man. We love what you said. I love what you shared and I think that's the beautiful

thing when you hang around people with positive energy and have a lot to say

but intellectually and a very conscious and aware of their movements, you know.

especially his movement is music through lyrics but it's now through

YouTube which is a whole new different movement that you're gonna be introduced

to and it's beautiful to see that other people are about to get to know you.

So back to L-FRESH The LION

I'm gonna leave now and do my nerdy editing because I have things to do

She's been making videos. Yeah keep an eye out. Subscribe. Subscribe.

And we got Zig. The man behind the scenes. Ziggy you gonna get in the shot?

Zig's the man behind-the-scenes making the magic happen. What's up YouTubers? He's been talking about

potentially doing... can we talk about potentially making the

channel and...? Yeah, I've been inspired. I have to say

I've been inspired. It's been a good day VidCon. VidCon Australia. Seen a lot of

YouTubers. It's a different world. Totally different world. Well, it's different

in that like thinking about things differently. Like you were saying you

have a film background, right. Yeah. So you come from high production.

Yeah, just stripping things back and you know humbling yourself to not knowing

about this world a bit and just kind of stripping back and making it really all

about the content, you know. And not so much about the production. I think what

you said yesterday was dope, when you were like the humbling

thing about it is you've been on film sets, you've been on music video sets

from LA to Sydney and you've worked as your own film agency.

Yet you can stand next to a 16 year old who's now schooling you about

filmmaking with just a camera and a phone and that's the empowering thing

about the new way in which we connect with people via video, right?

Yeah it's beautiful. I mean, I think a lot of times you can know too much about something

and sometimes it gets in the way. If I was to approach it like that without

coming to something like this, I would probably get in my own way, you know, so I

definitely have a different perspective. And a big reveal. I think I've come up with

a name for my channel. Oh oh oh I don't even know this. Drumroll please...

Wait... *L beatboxes terribly*

That was terrible!

The Zig Perspective. Heeey! The Zig Perspective.

You know what that means? When it's made. You have to subscribe to it.

(Mirrah in background: I like it babe)

She likes it. It's got wifey's approval.

Done. The Zig Perspective.

(Mirrah in background putting on a male accent: That sounds dope, man!)

It's coming from everywhere. That's it man. But yeah, I appreciate the invite.

Like I said, I've been inspired, you know, it's time to actually do, you know, instead of talking

about it. Let's create. So subscribe. Yeah. The Zig Perspective. Thanks man.

So... to wrap it up. Key learnings: being authentic. I mean that continues to

resonate no matter where I go in the spaces I'm in. Being authentic is huge!

Being you, nobody else. Tell your story. Don't try to be like anybody else cuz

then you're just an imitation, a copy and who wants to get down with a copy.

And the second thing is get up and do it. Mirrah is over there editing a video

Zig's coming up with ideas for new stuff I'm here filming this, you know, I didn't even

know what I was gonna be talking about. Now we've been talking for 15 minutes

And I can't shut up now. You're gonna have to reach through the camera and punch me in the face

to shut me up now, but yeah... Much love. We signing out from VidCon.

Thank you VidCon. Thank you YouTube. Thank you to the YouTube community. We'll um...

See you soon, I suppose... *laughs* Peace!

EP04 170308 ADELAIDE FRINGE - what am I doing here? - Duration: 8:00.

Hello Adelaide, hello Australia!

I had about four hours of sleep... Yesterday was about the same...

But I guess it doesn't matter.

After getting lost - again - I got to my hostel.

After a short rest...

I'm going to Fringe! Finally!

Very excited to see everyone!

Kinda a bit nervous as well.

I need a drink. Or a coffee.

Or a coffee and a drink. No, just a coffee

I do recognise quite a lot of places.

And I'm having a coffee.

And it didn't do me much good.

Here it is! It's so weird, I thought I'd never make it!

And yet - I'm here! I'm here again

Looks quiet so far. Probably nothing's happening yet.

I think it's still closed.

Every time I can't believe we've met again!

So, what happened with the Sideshow is...

Three years ago they were in London.

There was a festival - much smaller than this one. And I went there...

It was like a fairytale!

I haven't seen fairgrounds as a kid. It's always been something that doesn't exist anymore.

I had this fairytaleish idea, I guess, from

"Phantom of the Opera", funny enough. Phantom himself performed in a freakshow on a fairground,

and Christine used to sing with her father

on fairgrounds.

"Phantom of the Opera" is a fairytale for me,

and it used to be a very big thing. It kinda still is, partly.

And now I came to this fairground in London.

And it was just incredible. It had that atmosphere.

It was teeny tiny. It had two rides and

a freakshow.

I've never seen anything like that. Like, I had seen

other shows: I've seen Circus of Horrors,

I've once seen a ventriloquist...

So I've seen some weird shows, but

This is kind of different.

Because, I guess, the whole atmosphere of a fairground partly contributed to it.

So it was literally like stepping into a fairytale.

I was obsessed! I couldn't think of anything else!

I kept seeing it and hearing a voice in my head.

...human oddities, marvellous medical monstrosities and the strangest performers alive today!

And I came back every day.

I just couldn't go away, and I wanted time to just

stop and to be forever there.

In "Faust" he had a pact with the devil,

that he can have everything and live forever until he asks a moment to stop.

Like, that would have been one of the moments in my life where I would have been caught.

I would have said "Yeah, time, stop, please! That's so great!"

And then one of the guys, Chayne – The Space Cowboy - came up to me

and asked how many shows I've seen.

I thought they didn't notice me – but they did!

It was.. kind of... a bit awkward.

Because I am.

And he gave me free tickets.

Pretty much he said "Come again", smiled and ran off.

So I ended up coming again and again, meeting everyone, talking to everyone...

Then Chayne taught me fire-eating and whip cracking.

I took some photos and videos and...

It actually inspired me to go back to photography very much.

Because I didn't photograph people... yeah, I actually didn't photograph people at all!

Fairground and a freakshow...

It, like, defies logic. And that's the beauty of it!

I love thing that defy logic. Things that are weird, out of place...

'Cause I always felt out of place.

It's like some kind of crossroads of cultures and of times.

Weird little stalls, and music, and people...

What am I doing here?

Maybe I shouldn't have come?

Maybe I shouldn't have come.

Maybe I'm trying my luck?

Coming again and again.

I don't belong here.

I don't belong anywhere. This is part of who I am.

an outsider. I've always been one.

"Third time lucky, fourth time embarrassing..."

I would have loved a power of invisibility.

Do I look like a bush? I suppose not.

'Cause then you could be anywhere and not be awkward.

Not have to feel like you need to belong or earn a right to be somewhere.

Do I have a right to be here?

Do you need a right to be on a fairground? No, you don't.

Look at all those people.

I think the thing with fairgrounds is that I really like them.

So, I am an outsider somewhere I really enjoy being.

Makes me heel like I shouldn't be more then if I just was a passerby.

Maybe I shouldn't have come.

I suppose you can't be part of something without destroying it for yourself in a way.

Can a storyteller white a story for himself?

What am I even thinking about?

Why am I thinking that?

But It's been bothering me for years actually, that question!

I wonder who is gonna be in today?

Who's gonna be in, who's gonna be in?

I see lots of familiar faces and a few unfamiliar faces on posters.

I am really, really, really looking forward to seeing the show!

It's gonna be amazing! It's awesome, they're always awesome!

I have seen Donny. He's actually opened the tent.

Yeah, I should probably go.

Say hi, finally!

Human marvels doing the unbelievable!

When you walk inside, you're gonna be gobsmacked by our extraordinary entertainers!

Entire cavalcade of human curiosities!

You'll be telling your friends about this show for the rest of your life – if you live that long.

So don't walk away without seeing the show.

If you're ready for a good show – say "Yeah!"

YEAH!

We are happy you came inside to spend time with us today...

I RAN ACROSS A BIG YOUTUBER RANK AT #4 FOR THE HIGHEST PAID SUBSCRIBERS RUN INTO SOME COPYRIGHT - Duration: 7:34.

hey guys before I start this video always remember to check out my

description there might be a suggested video a shotout a channel i'm featuring

or related similar or somewhat different search term or other videos to watch

enjoy

hey guys I wasn't gonna do another video today I have to finish some editing on

some other videos and get that out but I was watching this on video with

PewDiePie and I had noticed the last couple of days him doing a lot of

apologies he's a very big channel for some of you that don't know who he is

even if you're not familiar with him I can just give you some background on him

he used to be with Disney but they dropped him because of some

controversial videos that he created a while back he's like the biggest

youtuber on YouTube he has about 57 million subscribers and he gets on a

daily the average amount of views of 5.4 million views a day so he's doing big

things he makes an estimate earning of and this fluctuates 243,000 it's at the

low point because I had went into socialblade and about 10 million views

were deleted probably from maybe maybe takedown videos or videos he took down

himself maybe they were videos that were offensive but the last couple of weeks

he's been under fire and more so because of the content he's been making and has

made in the past that he continues to make that people are getting sick of

in this video somebody's firing back you can see the guy in here Sean Vanaman Va

naman and whoever this guy is he's on Twitter and he's fighting back for some

copyright material that PewDiePie has had in his video it's a gaming video and

PewDiePie in this video states the guy had said down here you can't really see

it I'm sick of this child getting more and more chance

to make money off of what we make so they strike him back you know people

just getting sick of these big channels getting away with copywriting or even

not even copyright and just community type stuff that needs to be striked and

they're not getting community strikes for like vulgar language and you know

like hate speeches or just some of the things that people are saying on videos

and it being all about the numbers and the money that they generate while their

channels are not being taken down but in my opinion and this is just my opinion I

can see the sincerity in the also the worry in PewDiePie about his channel

because even though he has made millions and millions of dollars this is a part

of his life and if YouTube was to say enough is enough and take down his channel

you know it would be devastating to even it's devastating for a small channel or

medium-size channel but people think oh wouldn't be a big deal if he got his

channel taken and he made millions of dollars we don't know how PewDiePie

invests his money I'm quite sure he does investments and I'm quite sure that he's

doing well for himself but we don't know how well he's doing

for himself and even if he's doing well it still was money that he's otherwise

not gonna get anymore if she if YouTube decides to take his channel down I'm not

here saying that pewdiepie channel is going to be taken down I'm just trying

to say that I'm starting to notice through PewDiePie's voice from his self

from the horse's mouth that YouTube is not going to tolerate this they don't

care if he's a big channel or not you know there's certain things that you

know he cannot do up here on the platform and he has to basically be like

everyone else and follow the rules it doesn't matter if you're a small channel

a big channel a medium-size channel the rules are the rules and if you break the

rules you're going to get copyright strikes and those three copyright

strikes that you get say if you get three of them your

channel gets taken down just like anyone else's or if you get three community

strikes your channel gets taken down just like anybody else's you know in

it's it's it's I don't hate on anybody I'm not trying to say I want PewDiePie's

channel to be shut down but I'm glad to see that YouTube is finally listening

I'm not trying to say that they've changed the rules any because I think

the rules have always been the same but they just were real lenient for many of

years now they're putting their foot down and that's a good thing because now

smaller channels like myself and you who are watching we're thinking about

starting YouTube channels or have YouTube channels it gives you a chance

the opportunity to get up here and make your videos do something that you love

and earn money from it and be treated fairly equally among the big youtubers

and the middle sized youtubers and the small youtubers everyone if we're all

that a fair playing ground if we're all treated fear equally if the rules apply

to everyone the same and not by who makes the most money who generates the

most most traffic or who has the bigger subscriber list if they don't focus on

that and just focus on being fear it's going to be a lot of harmony that's

gonna come on YouTube for the better and also to grow YouTube and also for people

to be able to grow their channels so I'm not complaining about what's going on

here I'm glad that YouTube is cracking down I honestly was tired I just got off

of work and I wasn't gonna do a video on this but I said to myself this needs to

be out there that YouTube is not going to tolerate this from anyone who's on

this platform with the mayhem this video is not that long but please subscribe

share this video make sure you share this video get this message out that

change is about to begin on YouTube change has already began on YouTube

and this is not gonna be tolerated on this platform with any of us so with

that all being said please subscribe share this video again like and make it

a favorite and I'll see you guys in the next video bye for now and always look

in my description by the way too because I leave relative search terms of

other videos to watch people you might want to subscribe to who have similar

videos that I make or maybe way off different but with that all being said

see you guys in the next video bye for now

how i deal with panic attacks | Vlog 161 - Duration: 4:54.

hello.

this one is going to be different.

captions should be on by default.

this is me about to go into a panic attack.

i can feel when it's about to happen.

music?

and it begins

i have so much to do

but creating is the only guaranteed way

to make me feel better.

so i told myself i could create but

i had to keep it simple.

no thought, no planning.

just go with what i'm feeling in the moment.

which was get out of my apartment as fast as i can.

check if the door is locked yo.

run.

which way am i going?

i have no idea what i'm filming.

things are going good, don't get me wrong.

but it's always overwhelming,

having so many paths i can pursue.

how do i know which one is worth it?

this is when i want to take off the boss hat

and put on the employee hat.

so i can just ask boss heather,

just tell me what to do and i'll make it happen.

do i do this or that?

there's not enough time to do everything.

everything keeps getting carried on to the next day.

more stuff gets piled on.

am i wasting time?

pssh how would i know?

there's no right or wrong answer.

no one can tell me what to do.

it's weird having so much freedom to choose.

i bet i'm gonna get sh!t for not wearing a helmet.

and probably for running the stop signs.

please let me panic in peace, kthx.

breathe yo.

alright what do i have to do before i go to bed?

nah. don't think right now.

clear your mind.

i'm scared of dark water.

that's why i run to it when i'm anxious.

it helps transfer the fear in my head to fear of the water.

dude don't drop your ish in the water yo.

ha, the camera went out of focus.

how poetic ;) ok goodnight.

one I took a look at the list of musicians

you worked for and you work the width and it's amazing Bruce Springsteen Bon

Jovi Michael Jackson Madonna Roger Waters Eric Clapton and many more so the

question is who didn't you work with that's really funny I mean seriously you

know what's amazing I mean I I would love to work with Peter Gabriel and I

never worked with Peter Gabriel these days they're probably you know few

people I'd like to work with - but then that's really funny I I never expected

to have so many credits and you know some of the credits were just one

session on my Madonna credit which Donna doesn't mean you know what what she used

session which signs that these in living here and knowing people who are working

all the time you end up you know you can end up working with a lot of people and

I was I was very fortunate to be able to work with all of those people and then

some of the people I worked with tons of times you know so I see so I'd like to

go back to when you were a kid and I'd like to know if there was music at home

and were your parents musical people and what kind of music so your first

approach with music yeah that's very easy for me to answer

my parents were not musicians but I grew up in the desert in the southwest

Albuquerque New Mexico an AM radio was on all the time so my love of music

comes from top 40 radio in the 60s I was born in 1958 so when I was about five

years old I already thought music was magical but I wasn't you know I was

hearing the Beatles and Elvis Presley and then in the 60s all the great bands

dimension Glenn Campbell and then in the late 60s I was at just the right age 10

years old 12 years old Woodstock and Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton the birth

of classic rock and so it was just excellent timing my love of music comes

from Radio AM radio in the 60s I see so you partially answered my next

question so talking about guitarists who are your basic idols so you mentioned

Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton someone else first and foremost it was Jimi

Hendrix and and a lot of people my age who are guitar players will say the same

thing I'm not unique in that so Jimi Hendrix Eric Clapton Billy

Gibbons from ZZ Top there's another blues guitar player named Johnny Winter

it was very you know meant a lot to me and then you could move on to like Grand

Funk Railroad Mark Farner there was a band called wishbone ash

that had great guitar players I was a big fan of BB King also and there's

there a lot more but I would say Eric Clapton Jimi Hendrix Billy Gibbons those

would be my primary once and then in the 70s I fell in love with Steely Dan and

Larry Karl I see a lot of those good there's a strong blues kind of yeah

bass yeah the simpler forms of jazz you know simple I see and another question

about the artist you you worked for it was there anybody particularly demanding

someone but secret particularly hard to work

with any anecdotes well that there you know that I remember working with Tracy

Chapman once and she we found a guitar part that she liked so we found the part

and then she wanted to hear it on every guitar that I owned and that was in the

days when you would bring a lot of gear to the studio these days you don't bring

that much to the studio which is actually a relief but I think I had

about 30 guitars there and I had to try the park on all 30 guitars and I think

she may have even had me try it a second time on a lot of those guitars and and

you don't fault an artist for doing that these days

the recording process happens much quicker mostly because it's it has to

because people don't have the money or time to spend like they used to but that

kind of demanding is just based on her trying to make the best record she could

possibly make and it's you know as a musician you have to you have to any any

kind of ego or resentment that you have up with something like that you really

have to put it away and let the artist you're there to make their dream come

true and sometimes it's hard not to get frustrated because you you might you

might go okay I know this is the right guitar but she wants to go through that

and hear all that stuff I see I see perfectly what you mean and

I see that you also worked with Italian artists such as Vasco Rossi eros

Ramazzotti and have you ever met someone in person or were just distance works

well I made a little list we took a vacation in Italy which was amazing last

April and I made a little list of the people I work with because we I met some

local people in Italy because of you know in your musician I know lots of

musicians who toured in Italy I've gone to Italy done records and I so eros I

did I did work I've met Eric carros is usually there so I worked on a lot of

eros Ramazzotti and and he really with Trevor Horn in the early 2000s I think

one of his biggest records that was with Trevor Horn and he was

there and eros is always there and then when I work with their ups I think it

was three years ago it might be four years ago now I did I went his personal

studio and I I was you know he was kind enough to put me up in his small hotel

and he was there every day it was a wonderful host we out to lunch every day

was great um Zuzu Caro is always there bazarov she is always there but

generally they'll come at some point during the day because you know the

recording processes is it's very tedious something these artists are so

experienced they there's so many times that they're not there all the time but

they always are there at some point during the day

now there's one exception ELISA which I did with Glen Ballard she's there 100%

of the time absolutely all the guys you mentioned

are musicians musicians they play instruments they are people music very

musical people they are not just singers so that's why they are present yeah yeah

so it is wonderful now that the thing that happens now is that I work for a

producer named Mikhail Ivanova you might know you might not but now I do records

for I've got the names here Luka Carboni Tiziano Ferro Ignacio Antonacci patty

Bravo jovanotti Georgia Markham and Joanie these are the

people that I do that I haven't met because Michaela does these projects and

I go to Mikael a studio where is it and at last week it was an artist named

annalisa and that was at McKinley studio here in North Hollywood so most of the

records IQ now that are Italian I don't meet the artist because we do i do them

which is Michaela and that Edith eat he's with the artist later okay I see

and another question you started working in music industry I suppose in the late

70s or in the 8th is something like that am I correct

how did the market change is there a crisis we talk a lot about crisis

how do you see the market today well the thing about the crisis you're talking

about is that we went through it a long time ago and so now it's the aftermath

and what it means now is there's just not a lot of opportunity for people

coming up I did well because I had an independent clientele and an

international clientele that was in place when the actual kind of American

record business changed radically and also when guitar stopped being so

there's a lot of elements to this we could talk for two hours about this

alone but the other thing that happened with guitar is it stopped being the end

behind popular music it's it's more of a seasoning now rather than the you know

the the engine behind it it's more of an add-on but because I had a reputation

and was working out of my own home studio when everything changed

I actually I did well even when the business collapsed in some ways and then

seven years ago I started a YouTube channel and I have a monetized web

business where I sell memberships to guitar players and it's going really

well I have a full-time film editor and some part-time employees and I did that

actually for a couple of reasons so I could brand myself and be part of this

visual medium but also so that I would have something going forward that was a

business that would grow rather than you know shrink so the crisis you're talking

about was there for us a decade ago and we were in crisis now we've come out the

other side and everybody has adapted and we all do the best we can with budgets

that are sometimes 1/10 of what they used to be everybody is very efficient

and everybody tries really hard to do as well as they can on a much leaner a

budget scale so this is we're after the crisis we went through this already and

and the record companies are actually profitable now but they did that at the

expense of creators you know I am very unhappy with the fact songwriters don't

get paid what they used to get paid and that's a whole nother discussion but

for us it's the aftermath we've all its you know we've all figured out a way to

survive and some people have gotten out the problem the crisis is the fact that

if you're a young person coming up it's much harder to make the kind of money

you need to pay for an apartment at food absolutely I agree with you so you

mentioned your YouTube channel it was one of my next questions I'd like to

invite all my followers to check it out and subscribe to me because it's amazing

I follow it it's really it's really amazing and you make your videos in your

beautiful studio so I'd like to talk about gear for a while and I imagine you

have loads of guitars and arms and and effects so my question is we are

abandoning planet Earth and we have to head to Mars and you can bring with you

one guitar one arm and one pedal what do you pick up well I gravitate towards

these small boutique amp and guitar builders I have finished guitars but I'm

a little unusual as a guitar player because I'm not really obsessed with a

lot of the guitars that other guitar players recessed with there are two

guitar builders that I favor once a guy named Michael Tuttle and another guy

named Tom Anderson they make brand new guitars that for me play and sound the

best so I would take one of those guitars and then the amp I use I can do

this without us losing the internet is divided by thirteen RSA 23 that was

designed by rusty Anderson and Frederick Taccone and it's my favorite amp I use

it for most of my sounds and a lot of people have bought that because they

earned it and they want to have that sound so it's a particular model by

Frederick that everybody liked pedal wise I'll just expand a little bit I use

a micro amp and it makes our micro amp and the version of that that I you

I'm just gonna unplug it here so you see it it's this is a dual pedal but the

side of this that I use all the time it's just basically a cleaned-up FMX our

microwave updated not expensive I use that to push the amp and get distorted

sound okay I all love the nobles OD r1 which I'm gonna try and show you really

quick here okay it looks like it looks like a tube screamer yeah it does but it

sounds much warmer and badder than that it's it's it's best to get one from the

early 90s and so I've limited I changed your question to what two things I would

take you know and reverb pedals are very very essential now and tremolo but but

really I would say you know Michael Tubman guitar / 13 and the mxr micro

have so that that's how I get distortion I get it from the kind of distortion I

like is is a boost pedal that basically explodes the front end of the app and it

sounds bad yeah yeah I see I see what you mean

and talking about teaching I'm sure you have a great experience also as a

face-to-face teacher as an in-person teacher besides your YouTube channel so

my question is technology's helped a lot I'm talking about new guys learning

guitar today and the question is is it good is it good thing is there something

that I don't know something missing how do you see what we do because I I have a

youtube channel myself is it a completely positive thing or not I think

it is completely positive I I taught only two times in my life once

when I was 18 and once when I was 25 so a very long time ago and I don't have

time to teach privately I get a lot of requests to teach on skype but those

hours have to go into my web business making content or for session clients so

I take on absolutely no private students at this point I just don't have time

we're doing the web business my session work which is really strong still and

marriage family and a little bit of exercise that's kind of it I have found

and I would not have known this that teaching online lessons are actually

preferable to students at this point because if you even if you get it for

free that's fine too or if you choose a website to pay and get get lessons you

can do it at your own pace and your own time you can rewind you can slow down

the information that's always there it's on your mobile phone I certainly believe

in a perfect world if you had a teacher down the street and an online program

then you'd be set completely the one thing about having a teacher is they're

they're not always great teachers out there and not that they're not always

that great but the guy who teaches guitar down the street might be a

shredder and he might like invading Bay the most and you may want to learn dobro

blues guitar so you can't it's very hard sometimes to find the right teacher so I

would say never stop trying to find a local teacher that you can use but also

I have learned that people really favor this online I think it's ideal online

learning is ideal for people I really do it no matter what it is I see and again

about technologies but in music production I you a a digital guy I mean

do you use software like Guitar Rig or stuff like that and are they really used

in today's production or when it comes to serious stuff you still mic and amp

and how does it work today I'll try and break that question up into two things I

use Pro Tools at home and I've loved it for I've used it you know I'm very fast

at Pro Tools and I use it at home all the time and Pro Tools

sounds great as does logic and any of them they all sound great the problem is

the end user once it gets produced to you know down to the end product that it

doesn't sound as good but in our realm where we live and what we listen to it

sounds great it really does if that actual sound could be given to the

customer correctly at that sample rate and that level of quality then it would

be marvelous maybe someday soon and the other thing you were talking about is

modeling I exist when I describe it to people if you use

a Kemper which mine is right back there or a plug-in you might be able to get

90% of the way there but I exist I exist in this sound realm that's basically the

last five percent like all of the digital modeling units and all the stuff

that simulates guitar will give you 95% of the way there myself and my clients

in my career I exist in that 5% above the 95% so I can still hear the

difference between my modeled Kemper sound and the sound I get from my

ancestors and it's usually in the top end if you use emperor to do a part and

you hear a slightly artificial top end that's okay but once you start

overdubbing you do three opals you start hearing that same high end then you go

okay I hear the difference it's a great tool I take the Kemper with me to other

studios and use it people love it it's fantastic you just have to accept that

it's only 95 percent there now in five years maybe it'll be 100 percent there I

don't rule that out but the the actual sound and touch of tone that happens

when you use a guitar into a real amp into a real speaker to a real microphone

eat or no mic read it still has a warmth and body to it and particularly with

distortion it still has it's still favorable and still sounds better I

totally agree with you and one last question Tim

do you have a piece of advice that you would like to give to young musician

that would like to be successful today I know we are in different countries but I

think that you know a good advice works independent of the of the country I yes

I do have advice first of all you need to do everything well if your first love

is guitar and if you can program drums really well that will allow you to get

into situations where you'll be able to play the guitar make money playing the

guitar if you can sing and get on stage that will give you an edge to getting

gigs that will allow you to play guitar artists if you can write songs and

compose music that will allow you to use your guitar on that music so I tell

young officials to do everything you need to be able to program compose

perform do everything you possibly can to create value in addition to being a

guitar player or whatever instrument you're on most you know be able to do

everything out there but I did have a thought I had a guitar player approached

me about he wanted to be kind of like a Steve Vai a guitar player Joe Satriani a

guitar player and when I tried to stress to him is what is your value to other

people what do other people seek you for because a lot of times musicians they

only think about what they're putting out into the world Here I am aren't I

great but I always came from this little nest town of old school where I wanted

to be chosen by somebody who needed my guitar playing for a saw and I would

look at what do you offer that other people need what do you offer that

people are going to call you for they're gonna email me we want you for this

and that's something musicians don't always think about what what is going to

draw people to you collaborators composers artists singers other

musicians drummers how many people are seeking you and that that's my advice

now and it's new I've never actually said it before it's something I thought

about be the kind of person that other people want simple that's a very good

advice so thank you team would you like to

greet our followers finally hello everyone I love Italy I love California

because it's our version of Italy it's the best we can do and I can't wait to

come back I love you so much and I love your music I'm very grateful to be

played to be playing on Italian music it's beautiful and romantic and thank

you thank you it's been a pleasure can't wait to come back to Italy great thanks

bye bye

Hello!

We're here for another LTDM360 with...

- Bingo! - No!

- With Adam Evald.

We recorded it in a kind of crazy room scenery,

because it's a song about dreams, you know?

Iris is sleeping in the bedroom,

and then she wakes up in the middle of a crazy verse he sings.

Then she starts playing that auto harp.

They want me to play this little beauty.
