Jurgen Klopp confident Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain can fulfil potential at Liverpool
Jurgen Klopp has addressed Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's stalled development at Arsenal, insisting he can fulfil his potential at Liverpool.
Oxlade-Chamberlain made the £35 million move from north London at the end of the summer transfer window, after six years with the Gunners.
Having been signed for a lofty £15 million fee as a 17-year-old in 2011, Oxlade-Chamberlain went on to make 198 appearances for Arsenal, but failed to develop as expected.
Joining Liverpool on deadline day, however, Oxlade-Chamberlain has set his sights on continuing his progress under Klopp, who believes he was hampered with too much pressure, too early.
"It's a judgment from outside that you don't develop," the German said.
"Probably when Alex was 18 or 19 people thought he could be 'the man', like people have thought a lot of times pretty early.
"Then you immediately put a rucksack [of pressure] on their back, it makes development [harder].
"Hide them as long as makes sense, send them out as soon as possible, that's the plan.
"Now he's in the perfect age and still able to make big steps, and how I thought he played in the last game [was] like a Liverpool player.
"Highest intensity, all good, was involved, was not fixed in a position, flexible, half left, half right, in the box, stuff like this.
"So I already saw a lot things, and at the end he didn't hit a goal so probably a lot of people will say that's a proper Liverpool player!.
"But I'm really happy to have him here, and I hope he is also happy to be here.
Speaking a year ago, Arsene Wenger addressed Oxlade-Chamberlain's slow progress at the Emirates Stadium, proffering that "maybe he doesn't completely believe in himself as to how good he can be.
While Klopp suggested he was not in a position to agree or disagree with Wenger at this stage, the 50-year-old said it made "complete sense" for the midfielder to leave Arsenal.
"I think it would be strange if I were to say something about a player after two-and-a-half weeks when Arsene Wenger worked together with him for six or seven years," Klopp added.
"But a new start is very often, kind of, a relief.
"You are in a situation with your old club—I don't say for Alex especially, but in general it's like this—you're in a specific position and you accept it on some point.
"It's difficult to make the next step, that's how it is.
I thought it made complete sense for Alex to change club, and especially to come here.
"So far, I can see that he's settled in perfectly.
He knew at least all of the England players, and a few others.
"And he's a really nice lad, so it's easy for him to settle into a team.
"He takes the situation like it is, he knows he played all the games for Arsenal from the beginning.
"And now he's coming here and sitting on the bench, it looks like 'oh, it was not the best decision'.
"But it's about a long-term thing, and we can already use him, that's good, but we also want to prepare him.
That's all, it's all good from this side in the moment.".
Oxlade-Chamberlain is set for his first start of the season on Tuesday night, when Liverpool take on Leicester City in the League Cup third round.
Klopp has been easing the 24-year-old into action as he adjusts to the demands of his system, and the trip to the King Power Stadium provides him with a vital opportunity.
It is another small step, after three cameos appearances so far, but it will be another hugely beneficial one as Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to make his name with Liverpool.

Liverpool face Leicester City in the League Cup third round on Tuesday evening; here are the key statistics and facts ahead of the clash. Liverpool's League Cup love. Liverpool's all-time League Cup has seen them win 140 games out of 233 played.
Should Liverpool lose this game it will be their 50th defeat in the competition. Last season Liverpool reached their record 17th semi-final but failed to add to their record 12 final appearances and eight competition wins, losing both legs 1-0 to Southampton.
Should Liverpool fail to find the net it will be the first time since August 1979 they have not scored in three successive League Cup games, when they went a club record five matches without a goal in the competition (the only time they have gone more than two).
Sturridge leads the goal hunt. Daniel Sturridge has scored eight goals in eight League Cup appearances for the Reds, and has 10 in 14 games in his career.
Two goals will see him become the 9th player to reach 10 goals for Liverpool in this competition. Sturridge has scored 99 goals in his club career, with 61 coming for Liverpool.
Last season Ben Woodburn became the club's youngest-ever scorer when netting in front of the Kop at home to Leeds. He was aged just 17 years and 45 days.
Ragnar Klavan scored his only Reds goal so far at this stage of last season's competition in the 3-0 victory at Derby. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has scored six goals in 13 career League Cupappearances.
Liverpool have scored in 20 of their last 22 games in league and cup. The Reds are four goals short of recording 200 in all games under Jurgen Klopp.

The teams have met only once in this competition. In October 1986 Liverpool won 4-1 at Anfield in the third round, with Steve McMahon hitting a hat-trick (having netted four in the previous round) and Kenny Dalglish scoring the other.
Gary McAllister was in the visitors' side that evening. The Reds went on to reach the final that season, losing to Arsenal.

ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN is finally set to make his full debut for Liverpool in the Carabao Cup against Leicester. After joining the Merseyside outfit from Arsenal for £35million on deadline day, Oxlade-Chamberlain has played only 57 minutes in three substitute appearances.

hey guys have cats 77 here with another video on the channel anyways let's get
straight into it welcome to the first part of our let's play through theme
park Tycoon 2 now this game is on roblox and I thought we might as well start a
mini series now since we have that minecraft series going I thought hey
what else could I possibly be doing right now just you know change it up a
bit have a little bit of fun on the channel and you know that kind of stuff
so what I think we're gonna do is we're just gonna have this as a mini series
off on the side it's not really gonna be that long I think it's gonna be
something like 4 to 5 parts and that's about it but anyways let's get started
here so we just need to press start a new game now I've been playing this game
a ton lately and it's just because this game is so fun I've been playing it so
much lately basically this game if you haven't played it already basically what
you do is you go ahead and you go around and you build yourself a theme park and
you build all of your stuff that you want to put in your theme park it's kind
of cool I do like it a lot and let's get started though so we are
going to get started by probably setting ourselves up some rides so I'm gonna go
with some roller maybe we want a roller coaster to start out I think that's what
we're gonna go for and let's go ahead and let's start raising that oh no I
forgot um remove pieces we need to put down the
chain left chain left there we go I was like wait a second what and so let's go
ahead and let's do that do something like this and basically this will just
lift us off the ground something like this I think what is this gonna be
let's go something like that and then we're just gonna start going up here
something like this we'll go up 1 and then we'll start turning so something
like this maybe more sharp I guess yeah why not something a little bit higher
let me go with something just going up and once we've hit a certain amount I'm
just gonna start leveling it out and after that we can get rid of the chain
left let's start by going this way going this way turned back around and
we're just actually gonna level out here because that's as high as far as we need
to go nope we want to actually go up a little more so we'll go straight and
it'll turn and is that far enough yes it is and then from there we're just gonna
go straight we're gonna level out and we're just gonna come back down to
something like this right here and level that out there we go finally and so that
is basically going to be our first little roller coaster here so I guess
then we need to add the entrance so the entrance will be right here and the axe'
don't be right here and then now we just need to build the paths so let's go
ahead and let's go to paths let's go ahead and let's set up our paths so
that's gonna be our exit and then our cue path needs to go right over here so
we're going to do something like that and that should be cool that's basically
all we need to do now we might as well go ahead and set this roller coaster up
darn it end of track item properties menu right
state open and there you go now obviously guys do let me know down below
what you want me to name this coaster because I'm not gonna be able to name it
right now I'm just gonna go all the way out in this direction and basically just
make it open flat surface where we can build ourselves a food court of some
sort right over here is going to be our food court now this is just for all of
our foodstuffs and everything's have a ice-cream stall a fries stall a slushy
stall a hot drink stall and maybe a candy floss stall why not so I guess
we're gonna go with the tables set it up so that it looks nice and that and brand
new so you know we're just gonna let these guys walk around either thing now
something that I always do build in my theme parks is one of these rides that's
actually very cheap it's the space rings and it's actually very cheap but so many
people want to ride this I think we might be able to build one more building
for now right we got the teacups which actually isn't a bad idea let's actually
add the teacups now because that is one of those rides that people do love very
fun now people can ride this ride too so we got plenty of rides for people to
ride we've got a one star rating weight right now which even
though you might think a one-star rating is terrible it isn't that bad in this
game you know why don't we go ahead and let's ride our roller coaster man all
right let's get on this ride into the vehicle and toggle the camera so that I
can actually look around like a normal person pretty cool and basically we're
just gonna ride this ride around check it out see how it is I think it's gonna
be pretty fun and all right so we're going up our chain left here all the way
up to the top and then obviously then we're just gonna come right back down so
cool view from up top you can see everything all around us and finally
then we're gonna slowly start coming back down it's not a crazy fast
rollercoaster it's great overall I do like that rollercoaster a lot pretty
nice it's a good starter rollercoaster to have we have $2,800 I think we could
probably do some stuff with that so let's try I do want to go ahead and
check over here because sometimes people get denied the food so let's check here
see no one is thinking about this everybody loves the pizza for some
reason the consumptions that pizza stall is still expensive let's bring it down
to eight bucks and let's go over here what do we got I know I'm just thinking
about that that's great no one is thinking about fries stall what do you
think over here nobody's thinking about slushy stall over here consumptions are
too high that means we need to bring it up a Bock I think that should be fine no
one's thinking about it that's fine that is totally fine just leave it for now
and oh trash right here why would you leave a bunch of trash right here of all
things there is a trash can right there come on man like why there's a trash can
right there man all right so we've got 3,500 bucks now so let's go ahead and
let's build ourselves that drop Tower so where do we want this do we want this
over here I guess we have all of our crazy rides over here don't we so we'll
go ahead and put the entrance in right here and then put the exit in why not
right there and let's go ahead and get ourselves some paths
well send them all the way over here and we'll just actually set up and connect
the path over to here cuz that makes sense and then we'll set up the exit
there okay and we're just gonna open up this drop tower perfect ah we missed the
first ride I've already rode this before but you
know for people who haven't this is how it goes you just go all the way up to
the top and once you've hit the top you basically just fall all the way back
down crazy fast something like that and went out another just a dead tree back
here in here there nope we need 33 more bucks to build this yeah this is gonna
be a problem from here on out I'm just trying to add a few more little rides
here and there that will add a little more revenue to the park 190 there we go
something like that and we'll have the entrance right here and we'll have the
exit right there and something like that and then we'll build ourselves the path
so our main path will go right here that'll exit out and then we will want
our cue path right here so something like this 45 visitors not too bad
this is one of those rides you definitely want to add some scenery to
something like that there we go few little things for scenery let's go ahead
and let's ride these vintage cars just for fun cuz we said that we were gonna
do that up and down yeah beef what do I want to build next I know I want to
build a rollercoaster but I just don't know which one so something like right
here build that right here go like that and then have the station continue right
here build that piece build that piece oh did we not put a chain left on this a
few moments later and we're gonna slowly ease off wait is that $300 are you
serious at 300 bucks third the last piece there we go
finally way there we go let's put the entrance right there and let's put the
exit right there and then let's go ahead and let's build
the paths and so the exits just gonna go out right to here and then the cue path
is going to go from here to here just let me have a path to get onto this ride
and for now we're just gonna set this to open first riders there is no test
dummies in this ride there we go we come all the way up there we go all the way
down and we come around and we stop there we go not too shabby

I'm very happy and glad that I can come to New York with Micahel Kors.
Then, I did try up different kinds of stuff.
And also show everyone many types of collection.

But also something that is related with some attitudes toward fashion.
Everytime there will be new things to show to everyone.
What type of handbags will I suggest to Hong kong girls?
When I go to HongKong everytime,
I notice that everyone will carry big handbags.
HongKong girls love to use bigger handbags.
So, I think that Michael Kors has lots of big handbags
that can be suggested to everyone.
They are available in different kinds of colours.
For examples, purple, green and black.
I think that they are all quite pretty.
How many handbags you have at home?
The handbags at my home.
I never count them

Bicycle Tour Denmark - Family European Tandem Bike Tour - Helsingør to Copenhagen - EU04 - Duration: 13:46.
in the summer of 2016 our family rode from Amsterdam to Copenhagen here's the
last leg of the trip in Denmark we started our ride in Helsingborg Sweden
and then took a short ferry ride across to Helsingør Denmark and the first
thing we did there is go to Kronborg castle. Which was super cool.
it was a really short day of biking only 20 kilometers from Nelson Gore to Runk
stood guard where we stayed in a beautiful hotel in the country we were
all starting to realize our trip was coming to an end and we were actually
wanting more cycling our legs were all ready to go I'm sure we would have been
happy to a cycle 80 or 100 kilometers on these beautiful roads
now this looks alright
in rung stuck dart the hotel was situated in a beautiful spot in the
countryside lovely setting for walks and the breakfast was awesome now we know
why the pastries are called danishes the next day we had to ride from Runk
Stuttgart to Copenhagen which was about 40 kilometres you can see improvements
in the works here on the right that's the old bike and pedestrian lane over
there you can see that used to be a very small and that whole bike and pedestrian
area became the pedestrian area and then they took over some of the road here put
that four cars on the other side they're laying brand new pedestrian and bike
lanes

here we are approaching our Airbnb where we stayed in Copenhagen for a few nights
Copenhagen is said to be the greatest city in the world for cycling and we'd
have to agree it has incredible cycling infrastructure like this amazing bridge
built just for cyclists also need to hear Kyle start to figure out one of the
reasons why it's so great to have the EU listen to what he says here

another common feature here in Copenhagen is parked cars parked to the
left of the bike lane so the parked cars you have added protection and separation
to the bike lane it's up on a level and also protected by parked cars no cars
seemed dead Park on the bike lane I do not think that would be well tolerated

lower level next level up and the top level for pedestrians you can see
there's two little smooth things those are for strollers so it's a smooth ride

not only are there lots of bike paths beside the roads in Copenhagen there's
also lots of bike paths all on their own like this beautiful path by the canal
it's okay there should be a panda sign I think
one of the most impressive things about cycling and Copenhagen is their
commitment to the bike lane even through large construction projects like this
you can still see there's a separated bike lane that was kept running even
through this major construction area then as we cross the street we rejoin
the existing cycling infrastructure here with a separated lane on the left here's
another great example of a temporary separated bike lane built right in the
middle of a construction area of course the result of all this amazing cycling
infrastructure is bicycles bicycles bicycles and more bicycles
Copenhagen was our last stop on our tour and we had a few days to enjoy the
sights of the city one of the things we did is go to Tivoli Gardens is very old
and very fun amusement part and we did rollercoasters and then bigger
rollercoasters
another thing we had time to do is visit a district in Copenhagen called
Kristiania which is an autonomous anarchist district inhabited by about a
thousand people in 1971 this former military base was occupied by these
people they've been living there ever since but they're kind of own anarchist
government going on there's been a lot of controversy about the area it was a
really interesting area to explore parts of the area we were forbidden from
taking photographs or video of because of the cannabis trade that goes on there
the Danish government is aware of what's going on there and there have been
conflicts with the police in the past
also in Kristiania there's some very interesting cargo bikes built and we
visited one of the factories that makes those we had a few days in Copenhagen so
we spent a lot of the time just riding around the city seeing what it's like to
bike in the greatest biking city in the world and one of the days was really
rainy but even on a rainy day like this the amount of cyclists was incredible
one of the things that's so nice about cycling in Copenhagen is the wide bike
paths allow people to interact with each other socially as the riding along as
you can see these two women just riding along having a nice chat with each other
we saw tons of whole families on single bicycles two on our last night in
Copenhagen I noticed that there was an interesting looking Club in the basement
across the street of where Airbnb was as it turned out it was an arcade an
old-school 1980s style arcade with all of my old favorite games so I finally
got to beat my kids at video games for a day well our trip was almost over it was
time for us to make our last ride and our last ride was going to be to ride to
Copenhagen Airport and pack our bikes up and head back home
but again Copenhagen did once again amaze us with its bike paths all the way
to the airport in fact it took us all the way to the front doors at the
airport
