What Is A Life Coach? - Duration: 2:39.

In my last video I talked about offering life coaching advice.

This is because I'm studying to become a life coach.

So what is life coaching? Isn't it just like therapy lite?

Well, no but yes.

Sort of?

Let me explain.

Life coaching is sort of like therapy in that we help people live

happier, healthier lives but nothing like therapy because I do not diagnose or

treat any underlying mental health issues. It is my goal to focus on a

problem you might have like a fork in the road or a personal or a professional

hurdle that you might need help overcoming. My work is decided by the

clients goals and my role is more to lend perspective through effective

communication and offer personal insights, where appropriate, to help the

client who will ultimately make the decision and/or do the work themselves.

So much like a therapist I want to help people but unlike therapy it is YOU who

sets the goals and decides the agenda that we work on together.

So like why do you want to become a life coach?

I have always wanted to help people but I

never felt that the approach of a licensed therapist fit my personality

but when I learned about life coaching in this video here I was like, 'Sign me up!'

Don't get me wrong, I love therapy. I'm in therapy myself and I'm so much better because of it.

I just don't believe I have what it takes to do that particular kind of work.

But I still want to help people and be a guiding force for good

in the world, so I have started taking life coaching classes and it has felt

like the perfect fit for me.

I plan on specializing in working with

'creatives' since that is a niche that I am incredibly familiar with and have tons of insight on.

However, I am willing to work with anyone on almost any topic so

long as it is something that I feel confident to speak on.

So is life coaching or becoming a life coach something for you?

The current flag is based on the old flag of the Empire of Brazil created by Jean-Baptiste Debret in 1820. The changes were devised by a group of members of the Positivist Church, composed of Raimundo Teixeira Mendes, Miguel Lemos and Manuel Pereira Reis. The design of the blue disc was executed by the painter Décio Vilares. The flag was officially adopted by Decree 4, November 19, 1889 written by Benjamin Constant Botelho de Magalhães, member of the Provisional Government.

From the proclamation of the Republic on November 15 to 19 of the same month, another flag was used that imitated that of the United States of America. The current flags of some of the states of Brazil, such as Goiás, Piauí or Sergipe, are inspired by this design.

Current Flag

The current flag of Brazil originates from the flag of the Empire of Brazil designed in 1822, whose symbols represented the royal families of Braganza and Habsburg, to which the first imperial house belonged.

The blue disc of the current flag represents the sky of Rio de Janeiro the morning of November 15, 1889 (date of the proclamation of the Republic of Brazil). It is shown as seen from outside the celestial sphere. Each of the twenty seven stars represents one of the different states and the Federal District. The number of stars has been varying throughout the history as new states were created, from the original twenty-one.

The star that represents the Federal District is Sigma Octantis, whose position makes it visible throughout the country throughout the year; in addition, due to its location, the rest of the stars represented in the flag seem to rotate around her. The star of the state of Pará appears above the others because at the time of independence was the province with the capital, Belém, most north of all, near the line of terrestrial Ecuador (the states of Roraima and Amapá, which at present they are more to the north, were created just during the republican period).

The solitary star at the top of the sphere is Spica (Virgo Alpha) and has a double meaning in the flag: the first is to show that Brazil occupies territories in both hemispheres (north and south); the second, to make a reference to agriculture, because the Greek goddess Demeter (Ceres for the Romans) was represented by carrying a cereal (Spica, in Latin). Spica was also related to the discovery of the precession of the equinoxes by the great astronomer of antiquity Hipparchus of Nicea (190-120 BC), one of the greatest discoveries of astronomy in antiquity.

The Cruz (South Cross) is a souvenir of the first name of Brazil given by the Portuguese: Tierra de Santa Cruz. It occupies the center of the sphere, because on the day of the proclamation of the republic, this constellation passed on the meridian of the city of Rio de Janeiro (the meridian of the place or meridian line is the imaginary line that passes both at the same time poles and zenith and separates the eastern hemisphere from the west).

Underneath the Southern Cruiser, on the left, you can see the Canopus star of the Carinae constellation. Canopus recalls the legend of the Argonauts, and was set to symbolize the voyages of the Portuguese explorers during the period of great navigations.

The motto "Ordem e Progresso" ("order and progress") is inspired by the motto of Auguste Comte's positivism: "L'amour pour principe et l'ordre pour base; le progrès pour but »(" Love for principle, order for base, progress at last ", in French).

How to Land Your Dream Sales Job - Duration: 6:27.

There are good sales jobs and there are crappy ones.

And I've seen both sides of it.

Having worked with hundreds of different organizations

I see the very broad spectrum

of sales opportunities out there.

And if you are happy and well paid

at your current sales job then great.

Cherish the hell out of that job

because a great sales job,

at a great company, is a very special thing.

If, however, you are in a crappy sales job

but you think that you have what it takes

to really crush it at a different company

in a different industry, or in a different role,

then it's time to find something new.

The key though is to go into this

process with some real strategy.

Just like selling you don't wanna just wing this process

and you certainly don't want to use

that shotgun approach applying to just any job.

In this video I'm going to show you

how to land your dream sales job.

Check it out.

Number one, figure out what your dream job actually is.

This step is key.

You need to map out exactly what

your dream job actually looks like.

Answer questions like, what industry is it in?

What products or services are you selling?

What's the typical company size that

you'd like to be a part of?

Is the job virtual with travel or is it in the office?

Does that job have a lot of travel

or just a little bit of travel?

What's the compensation like?

Is it a big base or a smaller base with more commission?

Who will you ultimately report to?

What kind of a company culture do you want to be a part of?

And what kinds of opportunities do you want to be given?

You want specific answers to all of those questions.

Once you have that list now it's time

to come up with a list of 10 to 20 companies

that fit that criteria, definitely no more than that.

By the way it doesn't matter if

they're hiring right now, I don't care.

Be sure though to check their Glassdoor reviews

and ask friends, do your research,

just to make sure that that's really the type

of company that you want to work at.

Number two, focus your entire resume

on achieving specific results.

A resume is incredibly important when applying for a job

and having gone through thousands of them

I've noticed that they basically break down

into two categories when it comes to sales people.

Number one, lots of wishy washy bullshit,

or two, focused on achieving specific results.

If you haven't accomplished anything specifically

at your current or past jobs

then you might be in a little bit of trouble.

And you might wanna hang in at your current job

until you can have some specific results to point to.

You need specific achievements

that you can speak to in your resume.

Things like "exceeded quota every quarter",

or, "grew territory by 47%",

or, "exceeded sales goal by 28%",

or, "landed the three biggest accounts

"in our firm's portfolio."

Real specific.

Number three, stop reaching out to human resources.

Go directly to the decision maker.

People in HR are well intentioned people

but they don't know the first thing about sales

and hiring good salespeople.

In fact, I'm gonna say it,

they're really just glorified administrators.

They're also a waste of your time.

They're going to tell you to submit your resume

through career builder and then they're

never going to get back to you.

And it has nothing to do with how good you are

it's just that you're dealing

with the wrong level of decision maker.

They'll tell you that they're currently

not hiring and this is all crap.

Go straight to the source, go to the CEO,

or the VP of Sales.

I have literally never met a CEO or a VP of Sales

who doesn't love to be pestered by prospective sales hire.

It shows guts going straight to the source

and even if they pass you down,

now you've been referred in by the top dog.

These people are going to love you

for showing that kind of guts.

Number four, treat it like a sale.

Let's not mince words here, this is a sale,

and the people hiring you know it.

They're going to be looking to see

how you handle different situations.

So treat the entire hiring process

as if it's a monster sales opportunity.

Get clear on next steps in the hiring process

after each call that you have with them.

Be aggressive in meetings to find out what is their process.

Ask tons of questions to show you know

what you're doing and that you're interested.

Make sure that they see you as

the salesperson they wish were selling for them.

Number five, research the hell out of 'em.

This is one piece that so many folks miss.

Once you've actually got a solid opportunity

you should know everything you can about them.

If they're publicly held then you should know

tons from the details of their annual report.

Things like revenues, profit,

key achievements, benchmarks.

On the other hand if they're privately held

you want to go through every press release

they've ever put out.

Go through all of the content that they have,

even go so far as to present them recommendations

for how they might be able to improve their processes.

Decision makers love this stuff.

Also be sure that you've done your research

on every person that you're meeting with.

Know where they went to college, their home town,

their past jobs, and anything else

that you can find easily on places

like LinkedIn, or of course a Google search.

Show that you know what you're doing.

So there is how to land your dream sales job.

Our camp's mission is quite simple:

Improve behavior on our server.

If you play and win, you will receive prizes like chests and keys.

We are going to divide you into 2 groups.

Each group will have its health bar.

Every time someone receives a punishment

the whole group loses a little health.

At the end of the day, if your group has at least a little health on the bar, you win. Congratulations!

On the other hand if the bar dries, no one wins.

Inside the game you will know who is who because of this tag here.

Then when you see someone in your group losing the line, talk and try to calm then down,

after all if your partner is punished, the whole group loses points.

And check this out, in this game the goal is not to beat the other group,

but to take care of your own group health bar.

No one needs to lose, if both groups have a little health at the end of the day, EVERYONE wins.

If someone ends up receiving chat restriction or bans for unsportsman behavior

they will be out of that game day,

becoming ineligible for rewards even if their group wins.

Do not forget, stay positive and take care of your group regardless of which side you're on the battlefield.

What Is A Life Coach? - Duration: 2:39.

In my last video I talked about offering life coaching advice.

This is because I'm studying to become a life coach.

So what is life coaching? Isn't it just like therapy lite?

Well, no but yes.

Sort of?

Let me explain.

Life coaching is sort of like therapy in that we help people live

happier, healthier lives but nothing like therapy because I do not diagnose or

treat any underlying mental health issues. It is my goal to focus on a

problem you might have like a fork in the road or a personal or a professional

hurdle that you might need help overcoming. My work is decided by the

clients goals and my role is more to lend perspective through effective

communication and offer personal insights, where appropriate, to help the

client who will ultimately make the decision and/or do the work themselves.

So much like a therapist I want to help people but unlike therapy it is YOU who

sets the goals and decides the agenda that we work on together.

So like why do you want to become a life coach?

I have always wanted to help people but I

never felt that the approach of a licensed therapist fit my personality

but when I learned about life coaching in this video here I was like, 'Sign me up!'

Don't get me wrong, I love therapy. I'm in therapy myself and I'm so much better because of it.

I just don't believe I have what it takes to do that particular kind of work.

But I still want to help people and be a guiding force for good

in the world, so I have started taking life coaching classes and it has felt

like the perfect fit for me.

I plan on specializing in working with

'creatives' since that is a niche that I am incredibly familiar with and have tons of insight on.

However, I am willing to work with anyone on almost any topic so

long as it is something that I feel confident to speak on.

So is life coaching or becoming a life coach something for you?

I'm Matthew Rodrigues,

and welcome to the second episode of The World Of!

We made it!

Every week, we are releasing a new episode,

so don't forget to subscribe, so you don't miss it.

Last week, we tackled Amazons, Valkyries and Goddesses in Amaluna,

and this week, we're going on an adventure

into the topsy-turvy world of KOOZA,

where two circus traditions, acrobatic performance and the arts of clowning,

combine to create something very unique.

Let's pop the lid and unbox The World of KOOZA.

So this show highlights the physical demands of human performance

in all its splendor and fragility,

presented in a colorful mix that emphasizes good,

old fashioned, bold slapstick humor.

KOOZA's like… in your face!

It's, like, whoa! We're a big show, with lots of tricks!

KOOZA is about human connection and the world of duality

and good and bad and, like, all this stuff

and, like, yin and yang and black and white.

And really, just like me, it doesn't take itself too seriously,

but it's very much about ideas.

As it evolves, we are exploring concepts such as fear, identify, recognition

and power!

Casting Director… What's your name?

- I don't even know. - Yves.

Today, we have our main man Yves, here,

who was the Casting Director of KOOZA.

- Yep. - What was that like?

I imagine casting a show for Cirque is not only hard,

but it's so specific, what you need to find. You can't just cast anyone…

Yeah, well, this one, KOOZA, was directed by a clown, famous clown, David Shiner.

It's my specialty here at Cirque, so when they said,

"Yves, you want to collaborate on this one,

not only casting the clowns, but everyone from the artistic side?"

So musicians, singers and actors and dancers, I said, "Yes, for sure."

And it was building a tribe,

following the vision of David and Serge

—who was the Creative Director back then—

and then build something that was —that still is—a show that is in your face,

like, circus as the best as you can have it.

The acrobatic side is scary, and then the clowns are, like, funny as hell.

How many people do you audition for this kind of show?

I don't even remember now, but for every role,

yeah, you might count, for a creation process,

between 7 to 15 persons who would present, who would present to the Artistic Director,

so before that, I would say,

two times that, maybe 25… 30 per role, so.

Wow. Where do you even look for these people?

Do you look on Facebook?

How do you find them? You know, like?

It's not like you just put an ad in the paper, right?

It's got to be very hard.

Well, it's my job, and you know,

it's a small world—there's a lot of clowns in this world—

but there's not a lot of great clowns that do that, you know, all the time.

Clowns are like the best

—how do you say this—thermometer of what the era is right now.

Well, thank you so much for giving us some insight into the casting world.

Would you cast me as something?

- Yes, I would. - What would you cast me as?

You could… Actually, you would be a good trickster.

Sharp. A good trickster. All right.

- I can touch my toes. - Here we go.

Here are some fun facts about KOOZA.

You didn't know this, and I'm gonna tell you all about it.

There are more than 175 costumes.

That's, like, I mean… 1, 2, 3…

But these aren't actually in KOOZA. I'm just doing it for dramatic effect.

160 hats in the show.

1,080 items in all, including all the shoes, props, wigs, and so on.

I don't know if that counts popcorn, like,

each kernel, but I can count it for you.

And one of the army costumes features more than 400

—400!—individually sewn metallic flags

to create the effect that it is armor.

That's, like…

just a lot of work.

One of our favorite acts is the Wheel of Death.

It's, like, these big metal things that go like this,

and then there's people in it doing this, and this.

Just roll it. I feel, like, stupid.

Is that not insane?!

Trump Adviser Issues Threat: Politicians Who Support Impeachment Are Endangering Their Lives - Duration: 4:02.

According to a recent interview with TMZ, longtime Trump advisor and one of his closest

allies, Roger Stone, has warned that there will be some kind of civil war in the United

States should Donald Trump ever be impeached, but aside from that, which is something we've

actually heard from people on Fox News in the past, he didn't just go as far as to say

there's going to be a civil war.

No.

He actually warned that any politician that votes in favor of Donald Trump's impeachment

could be endangering their own lives, which is, depending on how you perceive it, pretty

much a death threat against people who vote for Donald Trump's impeachment.

Here is the exact quote from Roger Stone: "Try to impeach him.

Just try it.

You will have a spasm of violence in this country, an insurrection like you've never

seen.

The people will not stand for impeachment.

A politician that votes for it would be endangering their own life."

Now, I don't know that there are many ways to interpret that statement other than saying

that if you vote for Donald Trump's impeachment, you will be killed by voters, by angry Trump

people, by the alt-right, by Neo-Nazis.

He's not 100% clear on that, but just know that you're probably going to die if you vote

for Donald Trump's impeachment.

There are very specific laws in this country that deal with this kind of speech, and I

dare say that this is treasonous, traitorous rhetoric on behalf of Roger Stone, the kind

of rhetoric that should at least warrant some kind of FBI investigation into what this man

is saying and what he is threatening to do among his followers.

This is dangerous.

It's a very dangerous way to be speaking in this country, and yes.

We do have laws that govern this, and yes, it is very likely that if somebody were to

actually investigate it, and I know they weren't, or won't, excuse me, he could end up in prison

for saying things like this.

You can't warn or threaten of an armed insurrection here in the United States without it being

considered treason because that is exactly what it is.

Furthermore, 40% of the American public actually supports impeachment at this point, and we

haven't even gotten the conclusions of the Bob Muller investigation that increasingly

looks more and more likely to involve Donald Trump in some way, shape, or form.

The Trump supporters have lost their damn minds.

The people that he surrounds himself with, Donald Trump, are absolutely nuts.

Now keep in mind too, this man Roger Stone threatening this armed insurrection against

the United States, is the same man who just a few days ago, agreed with Alex Jones that

somehow Donald Trump is being drugged via his diet cokes so that he is more pliable

and compliant and less volatile in front of the American public, and that's why his mental

capacity seems to decline towards the end of every day.

Roger Stone is not a stable human being.

He is not someone that anyone in this country needs to be listening to, certainly not the

president of the United States.

He is a very dangerous person, and as such, should be treated like a very dangerous person

and should be locked away from society where he cannot cause any harm, or inspire his followers

to mount some kind of armed insurrection against the federal government of the

United States.

Why We Need To Be Talking About American Tail - Duration: 3:53.

- Hey, I'm Bridgett Greenberg, and if my last name wasn't

enough of a hint: Yes, I am Jewish.

And I am here as a member of the tribe to discuss one of

Stephen Spielberg's best cinematic tributes to our culture,

An American Tail.

It's a story of hope, family, and light stereotyping

that gave generations of young Jewish Americans insight

into our history, and made us believe in America

where the streets were paved with cheese.

The latter of which, I'll admit, is a bad lesson,

but it's important to learn some things the hard way.

Obviously I have my biases.

But An American Tail is a modern masterpiece

that everyone can appreciate.

Unless you don't find this guy cute, and then you're

just a monster, and I can't help you.

But for you non-monsters, stick with me, and I promise,

it will be as educational as it will be fun.

Not making an easy sell.

Our setting is an 1885 Russia.

Presumably, it's pretty much same as present-day Russia,

just slightly less cyber-crime.

The Russian government launched a series of pogroms,

which were state-sponsored attacks

on Jewish villages across Russia.

They start in the early 1800s when a misconception spread

that Jews were responsible for the assassination

of Tsar Alexander II, which is the kind of mix-up

that happens all the time.

Anyway, making up a major portion of the Russian army

were a rugged group of settlers known as the Cossacks,

and known to the characters of An American Tail

as the Catsacks.

Throughout the late 1800s and into the 1900s,

there were three major pogroms which later led

to roughly 2.5 million Jews leaving the country

between 1881 and 1914.

A percentage of whom managed to make it

to the US. of A. And in that percentage

were the Mousekewitzes, and the Greenbergs.

That's my grandpa.

The point being, this movie is

incredibly historically accurate, especially for one about

a singing mouse that illegally gets into

the United States via bottle.

Knowing your history is important, obviously.

But the people who lived through it don't always want to

talk about it because, and they only touched

on this lightly in the history books,

the past (bleep)ing sucked.

Sure, rent was probably cheaper back then,

but also, polio.

Rehashing the past can be understandably tough

for older generations, so having movies where kids

can learn about their past and their culture is helpful.

Especially if your movies and shows tend to fall

on one of two ends of the spectrum.

We don't have a lot of stuff for kids.

Maybe a couple special episodes of the Rugrats,

but those felt like kind of a reach.

When the Moskowitz family finally reaches America,

they quickly discover the dream they were sold

of an oppression-free America is not exactly reality.

- There are no cats in America.

- There are cats in America, in fact.

There are cats all over it.

They've been following me at night.

Like millions of other immigrants, the Mousekowitzes

were quickly disillusioned.

But did that stop them?

You bet your tiny cartoon mouse ass it did not.

They refused to be chased out of America

where they were promised freedom.

And instead of retreating, they band together

with immigrant mice all across New York

to stage a demonstration to let the cats know

they have a place here too, and they are

not giving it up so easily.

And leading the charge is a mouse named Bridget.

There's no point there, that's just a fun coincidence.

This isn't just a glimpse into Jewish history and culture,

it's a story about communities coming together to fight

to make America a place where we all belong.

It's a happy ending for a real sad movie.

17th if we're just ranking movies in general.

It goes, the opening montage from Up,

and then you go into your dog movies.

the presence of the other pooper

may lead to shyness.

Hence, the stalemate.

Be the bigger person and bomb away.

And finally, when using the urinal in an office bathroom,

don't ever, ever pee with no hands.

I don't care if it's

the Superman "hands on the hips" stance,

So you are not just thinking your thoughts.

You are thinking the thoughts of your father, mother, and then the great grandfather.

And they had somehow lived a life in poverty, and then you have inherited that, and this

Just as you have inherited biological genes, you have inherited, 'Soul' so to say,

So you have to change your thoughts.

So you have to first believe that you can do it.

The sound itself has the ability to change your negativity to positivity, poverty to

Because now you don't have wealth Consciousness, you don't even ask the question.

Once you have the wealth Consciousness you will look around.

There are opportunities everywhere, but then your focus is not on wealth, but on skepticism,

on your own habit.

And the habit is, "No, it's not all going to work."

Part of the problem is we have been raised with that.

You know, somebody joins a job, and then he already thinks about his retirement, and then

the pension that he's going to get.

There is no challenge in life except to go through a certain set reality.

The course is called, "Removing The Mental Block."

Everybody has a mental block.

I asked a person, "Can you think of 100 billion dollars? 100 million dollars?"

He says: "No, I can't.

I can think maybe a few million dollars."

But someone else cannot even think of a few hundred thousand dollars, most of you.

So there is a mental block.

I told Wayne Dyer.

And he was so impressed with this concept, he wrote a book and dedicated a book to me.

I said, "You cannot manifest that which you cannot conceive."

"You cannot manifest that which you cannot conceive."

If you cannot conceive of $10,000/month, you will never be able to make that money.

Why?

There is a mental block.

"I've been making only a couple thousand dollars a month and how can I go on and make

$10,000 dollars?

I don't have a skill set?"

Som the mind puts a road block right there.

So what do you do?

I taught Wayne Dyer a technique.

You can go and give a lecture from morning until evening.

It will be a good lecture, and then they will, you know, they will clap and say great lecture

and then go away.

But I told him, "What you need to teach is something which is very practical and which

is a technique that can convert your procreative energy into a creative energy.

That's the AH sound that I gave him.

Just by simply saying the sound AH and moving it from your lower Chakras to the Pineal Gland,

and then visualize whatever you want to visualize.

And that is how you manifest.

So this is a technology.

What we are here dealing with is just a technology.

All you have to do is, do it like mechanically.

You don't have to do anything, just sit down and then move the energy, this particular

technique that I gave to Wayne Dyer, and then move this to the third Eye.

So this is how that particular technique works.

In general, what creates is the Sound, the Sound.

Why does sound create?

Because, Sound is Intelligence.

And that is my contribution to the world.

I have come up with a definition, a mechanical definition of what intelligence is.

Intelligence is just a sound wave that is capable of going and opening up the brain

and enables you to conceive.

Only when you can conceive, you can deliver.

If you can't conceive, then you are finished.

So my job here is to enable people to conceive, and then realize it on a biological, psychological,

and at the soul level.

And once that is done, then everything is completed.
