We Don't Meet Anyone by Accident—3 Types of Cosmic Connections - Duration: 7:11.

We Don't Meet Anyone by Accident—3 Types of Cosmic Connections.

"Saying I didn't plan to meet you only means my soul knew something my mind wasn't aware of." ~ Kate Rose

. Nothing happens by chance.

In this world that we are blessed to live in, every single meeting and chance encounter serves a greater purpose.

Sometimes, we need people to wake us up and help change the direction of our lives; at other times,

we need people to uplift us and remind us who we are.

And sometimes, it's simply about those who are meant to hold space for us.

Ironically, we aren't meant to know the purpose of every person we meet in this life,

but we are meant to remain open to whatever each encounter will reveal.

In some ways, we have to look at the world as having connections running all through it—some threads are silken and

crimson, while others are roughened burlap.

Each thread depicts a different meeting that has yet to occur.

We are meant to interact with one another in this life and let our lives overlap.

It sometimes seems that social media is chasing away the need for those real life connections,

but something within our own minds begins to shift when we start to truly believe that every single thing that happens

does so for a reason.

Not all encounters are supposed to last forever; sometimes, those meetings come in for just a mere moment in time.

Perhaps it was to delay you, so that a car accident would be missed—or even to arrange a meeting for you with a

potential lover.

Sometimes, the universe sends us people to help us on our journey, even if they aren't meant to be a significant part

of it.

Life is a magical mystery of synchronicity, which is the belief that the universe sends us signs along the way to help

direct us toward our life purpose.

This can be the random meeting of people, angels, numbers, songs, and even feathers letting us know that there is a

plan in place that we are not yet aware of.

Sometimes it seems that the more amazing something is the less we can actually recognize it in our lives.

Perhaps we can't truly ever plan for destiny—but maybe we can prepare ourselves for it by making room for the

unexpected.

Souls who are meant to wake us up.

I suppose these are those individuals who come into our lives permanently, or at least for an extended period of time.

Sometimes, these are even soulmates or twin flames.

These individuals come into our lives to create a roadblock for us.

They ultimately stop us from living the life that we had been, and they make it impossible to ignore the call to awaken.

In many ways, these people are those who are rare gold, and we can sometimes sense them upon our initial meeting.

Usually there is a sense of recognition in our eyes as well as a familiar vibration between individuals,

yet this doesn't mean that they aren't meant to disrupt the status quo.

When we are young, we all have an idea of how we think our life will go—and then we get to the place where all we can

do is laugh because of the actual path that it is taking.

Nothing goes according to plan, but that's because things aren't meant to.

Instead, we sometimes receive divine intervention from these souls who are sent to us because of prior soul contracts.

In essence, we have agreed to meet in this life prior to being born; we have agreed upon the time and even the meeting

place.

All that is then left is for fate to play out, so that we can be directed back toward ourselves and the life purpose

that we have yet to fulfill.

Souls who help remind us who we are.

In life, it sometimes seems that we battle with growing away from ourselves.

We are these amazing children filled with fire and creativity, and somewhere along the way,

we forget what we used to believe in with such vigor.

We often sell out for being adults and responsible, and somewhere along the way, we forget who we were truly born to be.

This isn't about how much money we make, or even what kind of job we hold down—it's about our soul and inner compass.

Are we living each moment being true to ourselves?

Or have we instead adopted the ideals and expectations of others, in an attempt to be someone that we think others need?

The most difficult aspects that any of us face is the decision (and journey) to be ourselves, to break the mold,

and to live according to our own truth.

These types of souls come into our lives to help remind us of who we were,

so that we can begin to be more true to ourselves.

Sometimes, they will do it gently—and at other times, it will need to be more disruptive,

so that we can remember what it is we've so deeply forgotten.

Sometimes, the truth is that in order to become who we are meant to be,

we first need to remember who we were before we tried to be like everyone else.

Souls who simply hold space for us.

Often these are the ones who we simply cross paths with momentarily, who are meant to hold space for us in some small

way.

These are the conversations that begin instantly and last for hours while on a bus,

or those smiles as we walk with a coffee in hand, wondering how our hearts became broken once again.

Sometimes, it seems we believe that cosmic, soul connections have to be these big, lifelong experiences—but in reality,

we have them every single day.

Just because someone doesn't stay in our lives for years doesn't mean that their purpose isn't a fulfilling or

meaningful one.

Usually these types of souls don't know us well; perhaps, it may even be that it was merely us noticing someone who is

invisible to most, such as a homeless person on the street or that hitchhiker on the side of the road.

However, the beautiful thing is that we all have a story, and we all have a purpose in this life.

Sometimes people come in to change our lives and stay—and at other times,

they merely hold space so other changes can occur.

Our threads of interconnectedness are what make this planet as amazingly unpredictable as it is,

because the reality is that we just never know when we'll bump into someone who was sent to us to change our lives.

A message for fans (American Sign Language with English CC) - Duration: 10:52.

Hello everyone. My name is Crow_Se7en

Welcome to my vlog

This message is for everyone.. the fans

I should have to make the thank you video for 1,000 subscribers

but we're on 2,000 subscribers level now

It was awesome

Okay

I don't know how much I say thank you enough

A thousand thanks

I can't believe how much subscribers we got. 2,000! That's a lot of subscribers

I remember...

In March 2017, I started to make "Let's play" video

My first game was Bioshock

I was quiet, awkward, and nervous

Few days... Few months later...

I got better

Talked to the audience more

And make more gameplay videos

I got more subscribers slowly

10... 20... 30...

My YouTube channel was so quiet

In summer... I gained more subscribers

100... 200... 300...

That was good

I saw Ai-Media page on Facebook

I looked at the deaf people's videos

I thought if I can submit the video to them

"Who is Crow_Se7en?"

I think you saw my video, "Who is Crow_Se7en?"

I explained who am I and what is my purpose for this channel

I asked Ai-Media if I can send the video to them

and they sent me the instruction, how to submit the video and transcript

Using the closed captions

They got it

I was waiting for long time

I was asking them if everything was okay and they got my video

They said they got a lot of videos. They had to go through these videos including my video

It was fine

Finally, I got their message

Wait, hold that part. Before that

I thought... I was afraid because they will reject my video

But now... They got my video and sent me the message

They said their team loved it! I was really happy

Thank god

They asked me for the permission to edit my video little bit

Of course, they will add the closed captions

I said fine sure

Next day...

I woke up in the morning

I was looking at the news feed on Facebook

I saw my video... on Ai-Media's page

My background was green

Ai-Media added the awesome background

It.. looks like Daft Punk... Tron...

That was awesome

I was looking at it...

I did it... I actually did it

People finally noticed my YouTube channel

They started to click Like on my Facebook page

Following me on Twitter and Instagram

Subscribe to my YouTube channel

The notifications were exploded

For like two days

I read their comments

They said...

Oh! A deaf YouTuber plays the video games! That's awesome!

Finally, I found Crow_Se7en, the deaf YouTuber, and gamer. Yes!

I laughed at your videos and I really enjoyed it

And more warm comments

You made my heart becomes warmer

I'm glad that I made you become happy and made your day and night

I know it was hard for us to watch the YouTubers like

Markiplier, PewDiePie, etc.

They play the video games but they just use the voices

Some people can't understand what they say

They only can understand their reactions and actions

But... here I am... Crow_Se7en, the deaf YouTuber who plays video games with American Sign Language

and closed captions. That's awesome, right?

Can you imagine...

If I reached 1 million subscribers

They will finally notice us

Our deaf community

This... is our deaf world

It's very small!

Compare to the hearing world

It's big

A big world

Our world is...

small...

We're in the dark area where people don't notice us

My goal is to take the spotlight to shine our world

We should prove them that we can do everything except hear, right?

How do I reach - - surpass 1 million subscribers?

Remember I said...

Together we are more

What does that mean?

We should work together

Share my Facebook page.. and this vlog

Tell your friends, family, deaf people, hard of hearing, CODA, interpreters

and everyone who knows American Sign Language

I know it's really hard

It's impossible to get 1 million subscribers in one day, right

Compare to Markiplier and PewDiePie

They took around 4 years to surpass 1 million subscribers

I just started in March 2017

So far.. few months... 4 or 5 months

I have to take more than a year to get a lot of subscribers

Maybe one year later... two or three...

Or.. it will never happen

Who knows

Don't you want that? Me neither

That means we have to work so hard

Share... Work together

I have the list of social media in my channel and Facebook

Of course, I have Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, and

I don't use Twitch.tv often because I'm focusing on YouTube

Sorry

Again...

Thank you... very much for your support and time

I really appreciate it

Can you imagine...

If I didn't do this YouTube channel for our deaf community

We will be still in the dark area

Really dark

It's time...

To show our true talents to them

I hope you can help me

I will appreciate it

Share Facebook page, YouTube, Twitter, or whatever including this video

Thank you for watching

Please click Subscribe, Like, Share

or whatever that will help me a lot

See you in the next video

Remember...

Together we are more

Moms Talk Friday Night Emergency Preparedness ~Starting a Preparedness Plan ~ Noreen's Kitchen - Duration: 4:23.

Hi everyone long time no face-to-face. I hope you're all doing well

Have you heard there's a hurricane coming? I live in Eastern, North Carolina?

Thankfully the storm has switched trajectory and will mostly be hitting the western part of our state

that is not to say that we won't see any effects from hurricane Burma or

Hurricane Jose or the new one that's developed right behind it

But Heather and I were chatting last night

We thought it might be a good opportunity to do a Friday night Moms chat and tonight

We're gonna be doing that at 9 p.m.. Eastern, and we're going to be focusing on emergency preparedness

So I hope that you'll just come and enjoy it

It's gonna be a nice casual chat and we're gonna answer your questions

So you can join the chat section you can ask questions, and we're just gonna be taking them

We're gonna be sharing our own experiences. How we

prepare and keep our home stopped for emergencies you know Heather lives in Michigan and

She has lots of snow in the winter

Can't always get to the grocery store sometimes the power goes out and Heather actually lived through a summer

Blackout that lasted quite a long time several years ago

I live in hurricane country in 2011 Hurricane Irene came through and we had been

We had been prepping. I don't like to use that word

For a while at that point, but we learned a lot of lessons during that hurricane

So what we're gonna do tonight is just come together

we hope that you'll be able to stop by if you've questions if you're new to a

self-sufficient lifestyle

Maybe you're thinking about starting a little food storage or getting to a point where you can have your own sort of in-home

grocery store

Come on by even if it's not something you think that you

want to do maybe you'll get a little inspiration because just because we do it doesn't mean everyone does it and

we can offer you some insight as to how we do things and maybe take away any apprehension or

you know intimidation that you might be feeling of

Starting it. You know the best thing I can do is tell you in the event of an emergency

the time to prepare has passed and

if you

live in Florida

Please get the hell out

Because that's the only way you're gonna be able to save yourself and your family

Even if you have all the food storage in the world and all the emergency equipment. She is Irma

Currently a category 4 that is deadly

And I would not want any of you who are in the line of that hurricane to be injured or?

Mortally wounded so what?

I'm saying is I had someone today asked me in the comment section of a video

Are you preparing for hurricane Irma? That's coming your way, and it was kind of an urgent question my answer was no

I'm not preparing because I am already prepared and

If you are already prepared you don't have to worry the only reason we went to the grocery store yesterday

Was to get a couple of frozen pizzas and look at the empty bread aisle and the empty one Ryle

Because when you're prepared you have that confidence and that calmness within you knowing that that's not me

You also need to make sure that you check on your neighbors

But we're gonna talk about all of that tonight. I hope you'll join us it's gonna be at 9 p.m.. Eastern Time

you'll see it pop up in your feed as a live event and

The UM the page is already open you can go and join the check now and just put your questions in there

And we'll make note of it, so I hope to see you there and Heather will be there too and until next time

I'll see ya

Oh

Foods Guaranteed To Help You Sleep At Night - Duration: 4:15.

Some nights, sleep comes quickly and easily; before you even realize it, you're drifting

off to dreamland.

Other nights?

Well, you know.

While it can be tempting to turn to medication, meditation, or even more extreme measures

to catch some z's, the best solution could be a lot simpler: according to science, these

foods may be the key to a restful night.

Peanut butter

This sandwich staple contains tryptophan, the famous amino acid that makes you want

a nap after Thanksgiving dinner.

But since your body doesn't make tryptophan on its own, you have to eat foods that contain

it to enjoy its sleep-enhancing qualities — so try some PB on toast as a bedtime snack.

Tryptophan's power as a sleep aid is a one-two punch: it also triggers the release of serotonin,

the hormone that helps you relax.

Looking for more foods that contain this magical acid?

Try hummus or lentils, and sleep tight.

Yogurt

Once again, our old pal tryptophan is the secret to this sleepytime snack: dairy products,

including yogurt, all contain the amino acid.

But yogurt is also a good source of calcium, which helps reduce stress and stabilize nerve

fibers in your brain — and a stable brain is a well-rested brain.

Cherries

According to research, there's one useful way to increase the amount of time you spend

in bed, as well as how long and how well you'll sleep:

"Have a cherry."

Science suggests that eating tart cherries can improve sleep quality, while studies have

found that eating or drinking a cherry-based product from the Jerte Valley in Spain, specifically,

can help you sleep sounder and stay asleep longer — which is good, because there's

nothing worse than having your sleep cut short.

"Did you wake me up?"

Peas

These tiny green spheroids can be a big help at bedtime, thanks to a compound called pantothenic

acid.

It stimulates healthy brain activity during sleep, and helps your body produce melatonin,

which regulates your sleep cycle.

So if you've got insomnia, give peas a chance!

Popcorn

If you watch a movie before bed, don't forget the popcorn: it might just help you sleep.

This salty snack is chock full of carbohydrates, which help stimulate the transfer of the tryptophan

you've ingested over the course of the day into your brain.

Next stop?

Dreamland.

Edamame

Ladies, this one's for you.

Soy products like edamame can help alleviate menopausal hot flashes, which are disruptive

among… well, you know.

"Women of a… certain age."

These foods contain natural compounds that are similar to estrogen, which helps your

body maintain hormonal balance — and keep your cool overnight.

Almonds

According to the Cleveland Clinic, almonds can increase the levels of serotonin .

in your body, helping you to relax and enjoy a solid snooze.

The unsaturated fats in almonds are healthy all around, but watch out for saturated and

trans fats if you're concerned about your sleep quality; they can actually lower your

serotonin levels.

Bananas

Feeling tense?

Go bananas!

This portable fruit contains both potassium and magnesium, which help relax your muscles

and get you comfortably ready for dreamland.

Honey

According to the American Sleep Association, the natural sugars in honey help slow your

body's production of orexin, a neurotransmitter that makes you more alert.

The less orexin in your system, the easier you'll drift off.

Of course, that also means you should avoid honey altogether if you need to stay up all

night.

"Hey, you awake?"

Chocolate

According to a 2016 study from researchers at the University of Edinburgh, magnesium

is critical when it comes to regulating sleep-wake cycles.

And while many foods contain this essential nutrient, all you need to know is that dark

chocolate is one of them.

That's right: chocolate makes everything, including sleep, a little bit sweeter.

EM: 006 - 7 Figure Mentality - Duration: 20:41.

hi everyone Alexis parris here and you're listening to the empowered millennial

podcast episode 5 to teach network marketers and entrepreneurs how to

become an authority in their business virtually overnight become a top

producer and create a life of their dreams is the mission statement of our

upcoming guests alright guys welcome back so this week I'm interviewing John

Melton he is a seven-figure income earner successful network marketer and

he has created systems I've given him the ability to experience time freedom

and financial freedom and the best part is that throughout all of this he is

making a huge impact on the world positively impacting everyone that he

comes into contact with so I'm so excited that he's here to gain insight

and to share with you that things that he is doing to be the world-class

entrepreneur that he is today so John are you ready I'm ready you ready all

right so the first the first thing I like to ask everyone I'm really

interested about is your personal development story you know like we all

understand I think it's Jim Rohn who said for everything to change you first

have to change right in personal development gives you the ability to do

that so I'd love to know who were you before personal development and then who

did you chance form into being I remember watching one of your Facebook

live videos and you and you described yourself as being broke busted and

disgusted I was like wow who were you before and how it has changed you now

you know I think because I'm so young and I had no idea about business about

marketing I don't know what an MLM was I didn't know what being an entrepreneur

was I didn't know anything about traditional business network marketing

type of businesses you know online marketing wasn't really a thing 15 16

years ago when I got involved in in this space in this profession so before that

I mean I was just you know going to Community College

waiting tables hanging out my friends I was more interested in partying and

having fun then I was making money although it's like you know once I saw a

way to make residual income and build a business and be an entrepreneur and have

that freedom of not having to be at work at a certain time and not having you

know that that you know nine-to-five just boring type of career philosophy

like so many of my friends they just they had this this this opinion of going

to work or go to school getting a degree and getting a job and just working for

someone else forever and I don't know that philosophy that mindset just didn't

really excite me it just seems so boring to have this like you know this mindset

of just working for someone else you know from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for 40

years like that just did not excite me at all mm-hmm but I also I didn't know

what else to do so when I saw network marketing when I

saw the concept of residual income and being able to leverage your time through

the time and efforts of other people I got excited and over the last several

years we've really learned how to become much more than Network marketers you

know with all the different things we do but prior to seeing you know this this

world if you will I was just you know a waiter living at home with my parents I

was you know 20 years old had no real Drive or passion yet and was just kind

of you know hanging out having a good time

gotcha gotcha and what would you say like your first person about material

your first book that you read what was it um I think thinking Grow Rich was a

book that was heavily recommended back then I'm gonna have to admit I don't

think I actually read the whole book I definitely read some of it and I listen

to some of it on you know back then they have audible what they have back that

maybe you see or something I don't know what it was but I remember just some of

the philosophies and some of the the different ways they would talk about you

know how to make money and and you know kind of how a successful person just

just thinks differently does things differently it just blew my mind and I

think another that really impacted me back then was

Robert Kiyosaki know Dad Poor Dad kind of that you know that that whole series

of books that's come out over the years and and you know some of his trainings

so this were some of the early ones you know Jim Rohn I actually didn't hear

about until like 2006 like five six years later I never heard of him um you

know obviously Tony Robbins you know made up made an impact on me back then

and then just you know a lot of the mentors that were in the company we were

a part of you know going to seminars I think back then for me it wasn't reading

books still today I'm not a big book reader believe it or not I know they

always say leaders are readers and I even say that but I really don't do a

lot of like let me open a book and read it I just I'd rather listen on audible

and I'd rather attend seminars webinars watch someone on Facebook live like for

me that's how I like to learn versus reading I like hearing or watching right

so so there was monthly seminars in that company we were we would go to those

once a month and they were called EPS educational programs okay hey they were

anywhere from like 250 to 450 and I had no money so that was a little tricky but

yeah you just find a way to make it happen yeah and it would just always be

life-changing right yeah um and so okay how would you what would be the rough

estimate of how many people you have on your team so far well on our so we were

in a company that got shut down two years ago and I made it my mission to

really find a company that did things differently and you know a lot of a lot

of people say that but we really did find a company that was doing things

differently um which was also scary because I'm like I don't know this is

gonna work but the company was you know kind of in their their infancy stages

they were doing well internationally but here in the states not so much mom

but it really started to take off last year in 2016 and since then we built a

team of thousands of distributors tens of thousands of customers I think we

have on average on a monthly basis on a monthly basis about 3,500 active

distributors and that produces several million

dollars a month anywhere from from you know 2.5 to 3 million dollars a month on

average in sales and 80 percent of that volume does come from customers so it's

kind of cool because our business is now built all online and we just have a big

emphasis and focus on customer acquisition so it's not as much about

like building a big team although that is part of what we do you know we don't

want to just bring people in to bring in other people to bring in other people we

want people actually learning and focusing on customer acquisition right

so a thousands of people is a lot right and as the leader of that team how do

you stay energized you know as leaders you can't afford to be sick you can't

for it to be like sluggish or anything like that so what are some things that

you do to stay energized to make sure that you show up for your team every day

well I can tell you we have a lot of duplication on our team so if I was sick

or I do take a vacation it's not that big of a deal because we have a lot of

great leaders in our organization but I will say that there's also a lot of

value in creating systems and having people you know plug into those systems

but for me I I think you know it's always hard to explain motivation right

because so many people are like I need to get some motivation I mean motivated

um I just think certain people just have it it's just a thing like for me sitting

around and watching TV and watch it and other people pursue their dreams right

like if I'm watching a movie I'm watching someone else pursue their

dreams if I'm sitting now watching a baseball game and I love the Orioles

right I love the Ravens but you know and I will watch games once in a while but I

also know I'm watching someone else pursue their dreams so for me I'm just

very competitive I like nice things I like traveling I like putting my kids in

private school I like I like money not being an issue you know I like being

able to help out my mom I like that we were able to donate thousands of dollars

to the to the you know hurricane Harvey victims right Mike

you know for me I just don't know how else to live my life like I literally

just go all all the time I never really like even on the weekend

it's like I don't really turn off my motivation because I'm still thinking

about what I can do better I'm still interacting with my team I think I think

you just have to find something you love doing and find a way to make money doing

it you know I actually did hear an actor say one time that he thinks it's it's BS

that you should find something you love to do and then you know that's what you

should do for a living he's like I think you should find something you're great

at even if you don't always love it right he's like I don't always love what

I do but I'm great at it so so whatever that looks like for you but if you're

not motivated it's it's most likely because you're not really excited about

what you're doing right now I think typically if someone isn't motivated

they're having trouble getting up in the morning or they're having trouble really

being excited on a daily basis like they're just trying to get through the

day which isn't really the best you know mindset right like I'm just trying to

get through the day like oh man that sounds so fulfilling I think ultimately

you need to do something different you got to find something that does get you

excited like it's not thinking about it it's all you want to do so for me it's

like people might be like oh you work a lot be like I don't know to me it's like

a sport it's like a game it's like I freaking love it

and I'm actually bored when I'm not doing it when I'm not doing it is when

I'm like I'm like itching like I want to pick up my phone I want to help my team

I want to make some money right like I want to build my multi-million dollar

business and this will be our first year cracking seven figures so maybe maybe

you know part of me just knew that eventually we'd get to this point I mean

this is the first time we've made seven figures in our entire career so so 15 16

years into the business maybe I just knew that that was the the

destination right so for me my motivation was always there but of

course there's still times where you don't feel like doing something you're

tired you know you feel like you know maybe chilling for a day or two or a

week right that's normal as well but if you're not motivated to do what you're

doing and you probably don't love what you do mmm and I also hear to you for

those who are listening the importance of like knowing your core values your

core beliefs what you like to have because if you always keep that on the

forefront of your mind then it'll be worth doing the work it'll

be worth waking up early to be worth motivating your team and things like

that but if you're not connected to the things that make you happy like whether

it's providing for your family or traveling or having nice things you have

to be connected to that because that will help you continue to move forward

but if you don't have those things in sight then there's like what's the point

what's the point of showing up you know and also I heard that you said that

you've been doing this for like 16 years that's a long period of time to be able

to master a crop so how do you develop that sort of mindset that mentality to

stick with something for such a long period of time well I think ultimately

for me it's like I said in the beginning it's what else am I gonna do right like

for me I'm great at it I love doing it I'm always wanting to get better at it

and I don't know it's like a sport it's like a so I mean it's just like guys

that play football or baseball or basketball and then they retire because

you know a lot of these these pro athletes the truth is once you hit 30

right like you're not as competitive as a 22 year old I mean it's you know

they're already out of their prime maybe 35 right they spring in the upper 30s

and then when they retire what do they do they get into coaching or broadcast

they typically don't get out of the sport altogether why because they

freaking love it so to me it's like I don't know what

else I would do I mean you know I love being an entrepreneur I mean I have a

life insurance agency we do real estate investing we do affiliate marketing and

online marketing we have our own training academies online that does

really well and then we have our network marketing business and we do speaking

engagements and coaching and different things but you know for us it's just

like that's who we are that's it's not just what we do it's a part of us you

know and we just have a burning desire to help other people and make a

difference make an impact and and it's a lot of fun I mean what we do at least

for us it's fun for other people might not be fun and what they do for a living

to me wouldn't be fun right we all got our our opinions but for me it's just a

lot of fun doing what I do and I to me it's like I don't know what else I would

do and when I when I hear about what other

we'll do like I don't say this I don't make a face but in my head I'm like you

wouldn't want to do that and we're all we're all wired differently and I'm

assuming a lot of the people that tune in to your show are entrepreneurial

right they want to make an impact they want to change their life they want to

do more and for me that's that's always been maybe not when I was young because

I just didn't know but once I was exposed like I said to this space I just

couldn't turn it off I'm like oh my gosh to essential income man wouldn't that be

cool to make money while you're at the beach be this money mailbox money you go

to mail boxes checks the me it just sounded so much better

than having to go to work to get paid right you having to change time for

dollars time for dollars time for dollars

I wanted residual income and I knew it was probably gonna be harder especially

once I got into it a little bit I realized you know this is not as easy as

it sounded but I knew it would be worth it and to me that's more important than

than whether it's easy or not like easy is sleazy typically right like easy

money is sleazy money so it's hard it's not easy but to me it's been worth it

gotcha and I also heard that um if you're struggling with singing and if

you're struggling with staying in one particular thing for a long period of

time you have to ensure that what you're doing is a part of who you are already

Yeah right out so kind of you have to you have to be so self aware you have to

know who you are you have to know what your skills what your weaknesses are and

find something that aligns with that if you can find something that aligns with

who you are then it's more it's more it's expected that you'll stay in it a

longer period of time versus finding something that's not connected to you at

all sticking to it for a year and not really being able to get results I am

which is what happens to a lot of people right they they're not they're not

really excited about what they're doing and they don't have that hustle muscle

they're not willing to go through the grind it's part of the reason they're

probably not going to succeed because they they want instant gratification and

there's just not it's not the way it works

you don't deserve success yet you haven't grinded long enough

you haven't gone through the pain and torture right yeah you don't deserve it

so yeah you might say well you know I'd rather just have a job a steady paycheck

that's cool yo you'll never accomplish big things making 40,000 a year 60,000 a

year and getting paid every two weeks and I mean you could still have a good

life you know I mean look it's all about what makes you happy if you're happy

doing what you're doing great I don't know why you're listening

right like if you if you're already happy then what are we talking about but

if you're not happy you want more out of life you don't feel fulfilled you don't

feel like you have you know your goals or you know you're gonna be able to

achieve your dreams then you know you gotta do something different and

unfortunately different is uncomfortable unfortunately different is is a process

right it like it's true it's been quite the process for me because I I didn't

have a background in marketing I didn't have any influence I didn't have a great

reputation when I first got involved but I just worked my face off you know yeah

it's so interesting um just encourage people who are listening who have never

started out in you know business or anything like for me I

started in network marketing as well like that was my first exposure to

personal development that's where I learned about it when it was like you

don't come into any business venture any opportunity just as you are you don't

have to be perfect you don't have to know everything about everything to

start something new you just have to get started first so that you can give

yourself the opportunity to create results or to change your life or to

create freedom so yeah and then also I liked how in the beginning you said

you're not really a typical like sit down book reader and you never I like

audible it's great but I also understand the importance of always keeping

something in your ear whether you're sitting down drinking or you're

listening to something so I'd like to know what are you currently listening to

right no you know I've been listening to a lot of Gary Vaynerchuk you know I'm

always listening like so I'm not listening to like any particular book so

I listen a lot of his like you know when he puts out videos when he puts out

content I like a lot of his stuff Ray Higdon

is one of my my personal coaches mentors I like a lot of the stuff

he puts out so those are private to the people I listen to the most and probably

two of the best for what I do to the best guys that really motivate me and

give me great ideas for my businesses oh god did not get from that so Oh fine

people study people who do what you do right and kind of listen to their

content so I hate din and garyvee may not be for you but find the couple who

are for you the people who are in your you know area and listen to what they're

saying and the advice that they give you to help you on your journey awesome and

lastly who would you recommend to be on the show next

how about Ray Higdon oh okay I like it and also know this dad this really smart

Russian girl her name's Nadia yeah but I think she was on your show yeah but she

hasn't been on the podcast she's been on there you go get her need to get her on

the show for sure also I think there's a couple people in my network marketing

company know if I'd be really good to okay like some suggestions there too

okay awesome fantastic well that's a wrap that is uh thanks so much for being

on John a pre source I appreciate it so much

um and how can people connect with you what's the best way they connect with

you if they want to ask you questions or learn about your business book is real

John Melton yeah all right you also have to say like your final words before I

close out yeah all right well I mean look here's the thing if you really want

to be successful you have to be willing to invest in yourself you have to be

willing to take the time to learn to study to implement you have to be

willing to invest money in books seminars courses I think that's the one

thing that's that's been huge for us is we've been willing to invest in

ourselves and not make excuses not allow other people's opinions to stop us from

greatness good so good yes investing in you is

huge that's when everything started changing for me like the first time I

went to an event it was like whoa and then everything just started trickling

down from there so investing in you is definitely a foundational principle

yes all right guys thanks so much for listening I'm gonna close out by saying

when I always thought to say be great be awesome

and do you every single day all right I'll see you guys later

say bye John see ya

YOU GO WITH THE CONTINUING OUR ADVENTURE WILL

LET YOU LOOK AT OUR TRAVEL ADVENTURE.

STEVEN HEUMANN Thanks Ria/Chad. I'm here at Steadman's

Recreation in Tooele looking at motorcycles, which is appropriate

because today I'm taking you for a ride on one of the most amazing road

trips in the world. For a lot of us traveling is all about the destination.

What happens from point A to point B isn't so much of a concern so long

as we make good time. For motorcycle riders that is a different story. For

them the journey itself is the most important part.

(Music Up)

STEVEN HEUMANN There are a lot of famous motorcycle trips in the

US, like the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia, or the Pacific Coast

Highway in California. Each offers something unique and memorable that

can't be found anywhere else. Among those legendary opportunities is

Utah Highway 12; a route unlike anything else on earth.

RUSS STEADMAN Quote about Highway 12. where it is, what it's like,

etc.

STEVEN HEUMANN highway 12 was added to the Utah road system in

1914. At that time it only went from the Bryce Canyon junction to Tropic

Reservoir. today it is 122 miles long and takes travelers through eons of

history. The road has been officially dubbed the 'Journey through time

scenic byway,' and rightfully so as it decends into red canyons, and

winds along petrified sand dunes from ages past when the west was a

desert the size of the Sahara.

RUSS STEADMAN Quote about Boulder mountain and the petrified

sand dunes.

STEVEN HEUMANNFor Russ Steadman of Steadmans Recreation,

motorcycles are in his blood. As the third generation here at the shop,

Russ has ridden his entire life, and knows the thrill that comes with

climbing on a metal steed and exploring the asphault frontier.

RUSS STEADMAN Quote about why riding is cool.

STEVEN HEUMANN Part of the joy of motorcycles comes from the

comeraderie with other riders. While they seem very solitary at times,

bikers are all about the communion of the ride, sitting and talking

afterward, sharing thoughts. Places like Highway 12 are amazing, and

riders are inspired by the vistas and colors, but what is almost more

special than the experience itself is the chance to talk about it with your

fellow travelers; gaining their perspective and adding it to your own.

STEVEN HEUMANN Since that communion is so important, Steadmans

has put on an annual fall ride for the last four years to give bikers one

final chance to enjoy their sport with a group of like-minded explorers

before winter sets in and takes away their fun.

RUSS STEADMAN Details about the ride etc.

STEVEN HEUMANN Red, White and Road will set out of Torry Utah at

the junction of Highways 12 and 24 the morning of September 14th. The

route will hit all the hsitory and beauty offered on the route, including a

return drive along Otter Creek and Highway 22.

STEVEN HEUMANN When we hit the road for a vacation we think about

what we will experience when we arrive at our final destination. That's

normal of course, but when the trip itself IS the destination, that's when

you'll find an understanding of the road and the environments it traverses

that goes beyond just a blur at your perifery. The world fully takes shape,

and you see things you never knew you were missing. Such is life on a

motorcycle.

RUSS STEADMAN Motorcycles are awesome.

STEVEN HEUMANN If you would like to join Steadmans and AYL for

Red White and Road September 14th you can sign up now at

CHAD BOOTH: It's called the Sidewinder, and it is brand-new to this

market, and it is brand-new to Ray Citte RV. Hi everyone I'm Chad Booth.

Now this is the 3214 Sidewinder, the company that builds it is

called KZ, they've got a great reputation. They built a quality machine.

And it's got some fun features that you are going to like, let's check them out.

(Funky Beach Music Up)

CHAD BOOTH: You will find a lot of storage, they have done a lot on this

particular model with battery management. So they have a complete

electrical management system. And take a look at this! Your leveling

jacks are on a control unit that is right out here where you can watch

them. And it has an auto function where you can just press the button

and the whole thing levels itself. Really cool. They don't spring when

it comes to providing you with power options for your house. You will

not fall short of power with this. The storage bay comes through the other

side. It also has what you would expect, a water management center with

an outdoor shower. When I really like about these, is there is a bypass

valve for your hot water and the winterize valve for when you winterize

your system.

CHAD BOOTH: Ready to see the inside?

CHAD BOOTH: Okay, are you ready? Romeo, O, Romeo! Where so for art thou

Romeo? Take a look at this! The ramp actually converts into a deck,

you can put chairs out, you can put a barbecue out here. Can keep access

with the outside because as a pull down screen. So we're pretty close to

being in storage mode, or hauling mod. Now let's take a look at what this

looks like all laid out. You drop the couch down, but you need more space.

Well, here is how you get your sleeping space. One, two, three, four and five.

(Bed Lowering Music Up)

CHAD BOOTH: So now you have beds here and, stay with me, beds here!

So KZ actually puts really nice gear inside of their kitchenettes.

So you got a microwave combination up here, a three burner propane stove,

a full oven, a super big, industrial grade sink, and of course a

full-size Norcold RV refrigerator. Let's go on up to the master chamber.

CHAD BOOTH: Up in the nose where the master suite is, you'll find a

large bathroom. In the bathroom you will find: the shower with a glass

sliding door, and the linen closet right here in the bathroom.

Really nice. In the master bedroom you'll see that dark walnuts of come

back in, is very man cave like, so I really like it. You've got

great wardrobe space, this is a hanging locker here. And you've

got a shelf unit here. Of course, my favorite part of any trip,

is that at the very end, when you call it a day, and you lay your

head down to rest, with a nice big, padded leather, man cave,

ADVENTURE

REECE STEIN: I'm Reece Stein, At Your Leisure, in the Grand Canyon,

not the Grand Canyon you're thinking of, this one is further east

and while it's not as big as your Grand Canyon, it has a spectacular

beauty all its own.

REECE STEIN: BORN DURING THE LAST ICE AGE, AUSABLE CHASM IN THE

NORTHEAST CORNER OF NEW YORK STATE IS NICKNAMED THE GRAND CANYON

OF THE ADIRONDACKS. POURING OVER 90 FOOT HIGH RAINBOW FALLS,

THE AUSABLE RIVER CUTS INTO FAULTLINES IN THE 500 MILLION YEARS

OLD SANDSTONE BASE CREATING THIS UNIQUE TO MILE-LONG GORGE.

BEEN STEIN: It's surprising for the area, sandstone formation really

unusual so you get some cuts in the rock you don't see in new England

or North country area.

REECE STEIN: AUSABLE CHASM HAS BEEN A POPULAR TOURIST DESTINATION FOR

146 YEARS ONE OF THE OLDEST NATURAL ATTRACTIONS IN THE COUNTRY.

TIM BRESETT IS THE GENERAL MANAGER OF AUSABLE CHASM.

TIM BRESETT: the neatest thing about Ausable chasm is the rock formations

for sure. Explore place on foot. See all the rock places elephants had,

Devils oven, Mystic gorge, and all those types of things. Your mind

wanders as you start staring at all these rocks and you let go and

enjoying mother nature and what she has carved out for us.

That's definitely the neatest thing.

REECE STEIN: THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO ENJOY AUSABLE CHASM. WE CHOSE

THE POPULAR CLASSIC TO ORDER WHICH BEGINS WITH AN EASY WALK ON SEVERAL

TRAILS FOREST TYPE OF THE GORGE. THE INNER SANCTUM TRAIL IS CARVED

RIGHT INTO THE CLIFF FACE WITH THE RIVER 150 FEET BELOW. STEEL BRIDGES

WITH HIGH HANDRAILS AND SECURITY FENCES TAKE US ACROSS DEEP SIDE CANYONS

PROVIDING A SPECTACULAR VIEW OF THE CHASM WALLS. FOR FAMILIES WITH SLIGHTLY

OLDER AND PHYSICALLY FIT MEMBERS THERE'S THE ADVENTURE TRAIL OUR GRANDKIDS

ARE FEW YEARS AWAY FROM THIS VIA FERRATTA. FOR US, THE CLASSIC TOUR IS PERFECT.

GETTING THE KIDS INTO THE OUTDOORS AND AWAY FROM THE VIDEO SCREEN IS

CRITICAL TO A WELL-ROUNDED CHILDHOOD. ALTHOUGH MY OBSERVING GRANDDAUGHTER

PENNY IS NEVER TOO FAR REMOVED FROM ONE OF HER FAVORITE VIDEO GAMES EVEN OUT HERE.

PENNY STEIN: The sandstone formation is really interesting and also some

of them looked like they were from Mincraft. You could actually build

these landscapes in Minecraft. I'm pretty sure you could seriously do that.

REECE STEIN: A CHILD'S UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE THE CHILDPROOF BARRIERS MAKE

THE CLASSIC ROUTE FAMILY-FRIENDLY.

BEN STEIN: This is really wonderful for the kids. We have an eight-year-old

and a two-year-old and they were able to do the whole hike and enjoy

rafting at the bottom of the chasm.

REECE STEIN: THAT'S RIGHT, AFTER THE MILE OR SO LONG HIKE, THE TRAILS

DROP DOWN TO THE RIVER'S EDGE AND WE BOARDED A RUBBER BOAT FOR THE

SECOND LEG OF OUR JOURNEY. A QUALIFIED BOAT MAN GUIDES HIS RAFT THROUGH

THE NARROWEST PART OF THE CHASM. IF YOU HAVE RUN REAL WHITEWATER,

THIS IS MORE RELAXING THAN THRILLING UNLESS YOU ARE 89-YEAR-OLD

EXPERIENCING RAPIDS FOR THE FIRST TIME

PENNY STEIN: Well, the rapids were sooooo fun! They were just going

speedy Just going through the River just felt like I don't know,

it's an unexplainable feeling just bouncing around, then these

*splash noises* are especially fun. Being in the front seat was

the best part you got to see so much scenery.

REECE STEIN: TWO-YEAR-OLD JULIAN DIDN'T MIND TAKING

A BACKSEAT TO HIS BIG SISTER.

JULIAN STEIN: I got to go on the raft!

DAD: Was the raft bumpy?

JULIAN STEIN: Yeah!

REECE STEIN: Did you fall in the water?

JULIAN STEIN: No!

TIM BRESETT: Most folks who come here want activities.

So rafting, tubing the lower part of the chasm which is

much more placid. Then there are the adventure programs,

just one of the few via ferattas in the country.

REECE STEIN: THE VIA FERATTA, FOR I IN ROAD, IS A CLIMBING ROUTE

INVOLVING NARROW ROCK LEDGES, SWINGING BRIDGES, CARGO NETS AND STEEL STEPS.

SOUNDS SCARY, BUT YOU ARE ALWAYS TETHERED ON A SHORT LEASH TO A SECURE

CABLE THAT RUNS THE ENTIRE ROUTE. A TRAINED GUIDE LEADS EVERY GROUP,

JEFF BLACKBURN SAYS YOUNG AND OLD CAN HANDLE IT.

JEFF BLACKBURN: As long as you are physically able enough to get through

the initial cargo nets, not everybody is able to do it. Some people have

debilitating fear of heights which is the only thing you have to overcome

here just about anyone can follow instructions, and keep themselves safe

while going through the course.

REECE STEIN: THE CLASSIC TOUR COST $30, THE ADVENTURE TRAIL IS $50, AUSABLE

CHASM LIES DIRECTLY ACROSS LAKE CHAMPLAIN FROM BURLINGTON VERMONT.

IT ALSO OFFERS ROCK CLIMBING, REPELLING, MOUNTAIN BIKING, DISC GOLF

AND CAMPING. I'M REECE STEIN AT AUSABLE CHASM IN UPSTATE NEW YORK.
