Ballastro ETI Clase 2 - 400/600w. Vídeo tutorial - Duration: 3:52.

Hello. Today I'm going to show you

how to connect an ETI Class 2 Ballast

to two kinds of reflectors: one with a Plug & Play cable,

and another with a simple terminal strip connection.

Let's open the box of the Class 2 ETI, in this case it's 400w,

but there's also a 600w model. So carefully,

we open and take out the ballast, mind, it's fairly heavy.

The instructions to one side, the transformer

on the other side, which comes with, look…

a supply cable and a male Plug & Play.

In this case, we're going to connect to a Stuco, a reflector

that already has the male Plug & Play to connect to the ballast,

which as you can see also has a female Plug & Play.

It's as easy as connecting the male to the female

and we've connected the ballast to the reflector.

The second step, which we can also do before connecting,

is to take the bulb and fit it in the reflector.

Taking care, always holding it by the metal parts.

If you have to hold the glass, then use some paper to protect the bulb,

this will mean the bulb lasts much longer… and firmly

but without forcing it too much, we screw the bulb into the socket.

Perfect, now we simply have to connect

the supply cable to the mains electricity

so that the ballast switches on, as you can see…

We've disconnected the Stuco Plug & Play reflector. We'll leave the cable loose,

and what we're going to do now is connect it with a smooth reflector,

which as you can see comes without cables, it simply has

a terminal strip connection. We're going to use a Plug & Play cable,

in this case a male, and wire it into the reflector.

We're going to follow the colour coded wires. The blue to blue,

on the terminal strip… the green/yellow to the green/yellow, which in this case

is the Earth connection, and the brown to the brown, also in the terminal strip.

Try to tighten them firmly, and take care

that no wires are protruding, that could cause a short-circuit.

It's also important important to have the Earth connection, to avoid these things.

The domestic circuit-breaker will trip the fuses

in the case of any problems like crossed wires or short-circuits…

Very good, let's tighten the brown cable, firmly,

so it doesn't come out. I'll leave it like this, so you can see it,

and all that's left is to connect the Plug & Play to the ballast.

Step two, we take hold of the bulb, and take it out of the box,

as I mentioned earlier, taking care not to touch the glass

with our fingers, we screw it into the reflector

and now all we need to do is connect the supply cable.

Simply fit the plug into the mains socket

and we can see that the light is already working.

So, we've seen that it's not complicated to connect the ETI Class 2 Ballast

to a reflector, whether it's Plug & Play or direct cable.

Also, this ETI Class 2 Ballast is worth mentioning

as it features anti-splash and anti-dust protection.

I used to think,

It's like a mountain peak and you look down,

but forget it.

It's a team sport and a journey. There's Hannah.

Hannah is the product manager for Packs 'n Bags.

And there's Rafa, here as well.

Rafa is the product manager for bike bags – for all the bike products

that are made in our Manufaktur.

Made in Germany also means for me –

and it's really important for me –

having a holistic approach here at the company headquarters.

The entire product development - from the first sketches,

from the first ideas,

to the technology,

then to the actual production

and sales & marketing

having everything in a closed circuit here on site.

For Made in Germany

the closeness of the production area is really what's great.

That during the development process, you can just go over

to the production area

and find out pretty fast

if an idea works

or if you have to revise it.

So you end up with a good exchange

where you can develop the product faster.

OK, to get to the Manufaktur you have to go through a part of logistics.

The merchandise comes here first, everything to Obereisenbach

and is sent on from here.

Our biggest goal at the moment

is to make the whole global supply chain transparent.

Knowing where things come from, down to the last button

and whether it was made under ecological and social conditions.

The materials that we use in Germany

are completely PVC-free materials.

This means that you develop products

and at the same time, always keep in mind:

OK, is my work not only profitable,

is it also ecological?

Here we are in the Manufaktur.

This is our classic, what we make the most.

This is the "Aqua", the bike bag.

because it's PVC-free, but how do you make that visible for the customer?

It's really difficult for such a material.

We're right here at Lake Constance,

and thought about a herringbone pattern –

to use a whitefish pattern –

like the skin of a whitefish.

Concentrating on these values of sustainability

is what makes VAUDE unique.

So you can really tell it apart from the competition.

I think in the course of globalization

the world is becoming more complex,

what made you want to come back to Holby

City at least? Uh I think I missed lofty

really yeah he's a big part of my life

for two years in Casualty and I had a

year at half off, went off and did a

musical and flew a car and did my album

music stuff and then Oliver Kent

obviously the exec on the show got in

touch and we discussed the potential of

my coming back into Holby and I

think also I've either daughter Betsy is

now six, seven and I get so much more of

a lifestyle because it's like one hour

from home and we film at Elstree obviously

and I'm not down in Cardiff during the

week and that was hard for two years just

being back at weekends so it all seemed to

fit together yeah and there was a trial

period for the character to see if Lofty

could fit in and mix well with the other

characters in the show and touchwood

it's been going great yeah... So did we see

of what what brings him back and do we

see a change in him at all? We do it's

quite impactful his first scene coming in

I'm not sure if I should give it away but I

come in with quite an impact and helping

a patient but she's quite a really fun

to shoot that was that was great um and

the first time we touched on Lofty's

past and go a bit in depth into how he

first came into nursing and and on a

personal level as well some some things

that he's been going through whilst

travelling because he went he obviously

left Casualty to go travelling for a year

and a half around New Zealand and

retrain in mental health so... And that was

after quite a the actual matter...? Yes

Diane who cos Lofty got to run the ED

for the day and stepped up to the plate

and was doing a great job until one of

the nurses died on his watch and as the

viewers would know that watched the show he

he hadn't lost his job but he couldn't

live with that responsibility so decided

he was just too embarrassed to confront his

colleagues and

decided to go traveling for the year or

however long and retrain and now he's back

yeah... So you say he made quite an impact

when he arrives some might think he's

maybe a bit tentative about negotiating

the nursing waters again?Yeah he was

initially but what's nice and I think

for any character in a big show is that

they develop and don't just show one

side to their personality because as

people we all have different traits

to us and what's been really nice

is there's a new strength within Lofty

now I think having been through he's

been through and gone away travelling

and cleared his head and worked out what

he wants from life it's almost like a

choice to come back on his terms which

gives him this rule inner strength yeah

but he's still quite clumsy, he's still

knocking things over occasionally and

it's not even much... He's very

very forward and quite forthcoming Lofty

I think he often doesn't do things the

correct way, he does them his way which is

often not conventional so I think that's

rubbed Dom up the wrong way slightly I

think initially but um he does warm to

Lofty eventually I think it slowly

understands the kind of person he is

I feel so lucky I'm really happy yeah

I feel really content at the moment I'm

getting home every night which makes a

massive difference so and just yeah it's

a great team of people from the crew to

the producers and the guys on set and

just just really happy yeah. And I've had some nice

stuff to play great great story lines

hopefully more more good stories going

forward but um I was a little nervous

actually because having been off not

playing the character for a year and a

half almost two years to come back and

find those traits again and after after

two-three days filming right there's

Lofty... In terms of your music and

theatre work and what have you I mean

is that very much on the back burner for

now is it something you'd like to go

back to? I'm still going yeah I'm doing a

little residency in Chelsea

the last Sunday of each month but

and I've got a fifth album I'm going to be

touring next year it's up a ten year

anniversary tour yeah and a

theatre tour next year at weekends probably

the last weekend of each month in

between filming Holby yeah so I'm still

singing which is great yeah. Are you till

singing on the corridors here? I do

yeah I I'm singing on set again because

I did that on Casualty for quite a while

but um I thought that has gone down but

it's good fun

The Graphic Design Brief - Duration: 5:31.

Hey guys and welcome to this video.

Gareth here.

So as designers when we undertake projects we want to do the best job we can

and to do that we need to achieve the right results.

To achieve those results we need to understand exactly what the design task requires.

When we undertake any design we really want to avoid making arbitrary decisions.

A lot of inexperienced designers may want to jump right into the fun part of the design process

the act of designing or creating.

However, understanding the project's requirements could possibly be

the most important step in your design process.

If you fail to give this adequate attention you could completely miss your project goals.

The best design work is always work that:

Fulfils its purpose or function.

and delivers on the requirements of the project.

In doing so your aims will be to:

Communicate a key message or concept boldly and strong.

Communicate a key message or concept in a unique visually exciting and engaging way.

Have a good rationale behind it

and if it looks great too that's a bonus!

In the previous video I stated that:

Graphic Design is not about making things look pretty

Graphic Design is the organisation and presentation of information

developed through a creative process for a particular function.

Before we begin the design process for any project

we should always seek to understand what that particular function is.

To do this we should start by seeking as much information about the project as possible

Now this information is typically provided to us in the form of a graphic design brief.

So over the next couple of episodes I'm going to talk about the graphic design brief.

Later I will be showcasing some graphic design brief examples

and offering up a free graphic design brief template and some resources

for you to download and use should you need them.

In this video I'm going to talk about what the design brief is and why it's important.

So what is the Graphic design brief?

Well the graphic design brief is much like any other creative brief.

It's an overview of the project, what is required

and the design problems that need to be solved.

Here is an example of a typical design brief.

Now not every brief will be the same

terminology and structure will vary but

it should all cover the same criteria.

A typical brief should include all the relevant information a designer will need

in order to understand the context the requirements and the needs of the project

If you wish to take a closer look at this, you can find a downloadable link in the description.

So why is the brief so important?

Well the design brief is really key to the development of a project

the more thorough the initial design brief

the more potential there will be to solve the design problems required by the project.

One of the most frustrating things that can happen to any designer

is having to create work without being given an adequate design brief.

This can delay the process, it can misguide a designer

a client might not like or be happy with the end result

which leads to lots of amends having to be made in future

So lots of time wasted. A nightmare for most designers

Having a well outlined and detail brief will:

Help a designer stay on point.

Will be the source of reference for the duration of the project.

and can be used to contest solutions later should there be any disputes.

A successful project starts with a well thought out design brief.

Now there are two types of briefs.

A design brief will typically either be an open brief or a closed brief.

Basically open and closed briefs vary in the degree of creative freedom you have.

The open brief will typically offer more creative freedom

where as the closed brief will offer less.

Now I won't go into this in too much detail here

a lot can be said about this which we will be going into in the next episode.

So that is an introduction to the design brief.

As a designer before we take on any design project

we will always want to start with the design brief

with a design brief in hand we can begin the design process.

Now a quick question you may be wondering:

What if I'm not given the design brief?

Well it is not always the case that a brief will be presented to you

depending on who you're working for or with

you may be given a well detailed brief you may be given some verbal instructions

or you may be given no brief at all.

Typically when I work with design agencies or professional clients

a good thorough brief is provided

but some clients don't understand the design process, the need for design brief

or how to create a brief.

Some clients will also feel they don't have the time to create one.

Some clients may feel that a meeting will be more beneficial

where ideas and the project can be discussed verbally

in a more informal and collaborative scenario.

Whatever the case may be you will want to establish a solid design brief

before starting a design project.

If one is issued to you then great but if not there are steps which you can take in order to create one

which I will be discussing in a future episode.

In the next video I'm going to discuss what makes a good design brief

and take a closer look at the example we looked at earlier

PURBASARI Hi Matte Lip Cream ALL 5 SHADES | Swatches & Review (Eng Sub) - Duration: 1:57.

Here is the packaging, it's black with a cropped part to see the lipcream's shade

above, you can see the shade's name, expiry date and ingredients list on the sides

this is the product, I like lip creams in square tubs because it's safe from rolling from the table

the applicator wand works very nicely, great pigmentation. It has fruity scent but not too strong

here's the swatches on my hand

Out of all shades, I like number 2 most

because it's the safest colour, it's great for every occasions and all skin tones

so I think it's gonna be everyone's favourite

the next one that I like most is shade number 5, Freesia

it's a cool-toned red but it fits all skin tones

so, you have to try this one

I hope Purbasari will release more colours

because I reeeeallly like this lip cream, it's a great product

applause for Purbasari, they nailed it

again I can say that it's a great product and the price is SUPER CHEAP so...

Mcdonald's is doing another "secret menu" campaign so I had to check it out again

Mcdonald's did this marketing campaign last year

this time around you can choose to dress their burger menu with any toppings you like

so I picked up 3 different items from their secret menu

3 secret menu teriyaki mcburgers

3 secret double cheeseburgers

3 secret filet O' Chicken

and they're selling their chicken nuggs on sale 30 pieces (correction 15) for only Y390 so I got 2 boxes

2 cokes

and its the 10 anniversary of their Mcflurries

they re-released their #1 ~wait was this a popular flavor?~

well anyways it must have been one of their popular flavors

I bought their re-released strawberry shortcake shake

itadakimasu いただきま～す！

lets taste this before it melts

looks so delish

hey look you can see bits of the shortcake in here

looks so yummy

I totally had this back in the day

I love strawberry shortcakes and this is super delish

they added strawberry flavored shortcake

into their regular vanilla shakes its so delish

and its slathered in this great tasting strawberry sauce

before it melts away lets put it in the freezer for the time being

lets start things off with the one I wanted to try the most the secret teriyaki burger

they take their regular teriyaki burger

and added smoked bacon to it which is their 'secret item' they added to this

this pork burger with bacon looks so yummy

both are made of pork

the usual yumminess of a teriyaki burger

and its flavor is enhanced with this smoky bacon so tasty

and since the teriyaki sauce is so sweet and the bacon is so salty...

I love that interplay of sweet and salty

I also love that they add mayo to teriyaki mcburgers

next up is their 'secret' double cheese burger

this is what it looks like

they added a garlicy chili sauce to their double cheese

its probably this red stuff you see here

you can really smell the chili sauce in here

a double stack of burger patties

this is very delish as well

this chili sauce and cheese go great together

this spicy beef burger patty goes great with garlic chili

with such strong significant flavors

it's almost like a legit burger you'd buy from a sit down restaurant

it just might be the garlicy flavor that gives it a high quality 'premium' feel

ahh it does have a spicy bite to it

it is a bit spicy as well

not crazy spicy though

next is their 'secret' filet o' chicken

they added white cheddar cheese sauce to their chicken filet burger

lookin' good

the white cheddar cheese has such a mild mellow taste to it

and the chicken is nice and crispy

those Nuggs you've grown to love

yum! mcnuggets taste great even without any sauce on it

sadly they were supposed to have some limited release sauces for these

which were wasabi mayo and teriyaki sauces

but the store I went to ran out of those flavors so...

I had to settle for BBQ and mustard sauces

BBQ sauce is pretty yummy

and this is their mustard sauce

BRB I'm going to go warm these up again

they've gotten rather cold

K, I've gone and warmed them up

the last burger is...

the 'secret menu' spicy garlic chili sauce on double cheese burger

I love the garlicy flavor in this

and at last the mcflurry I stored in the freezer

its always nice to finish a meal with something sweet

I tend to love all their teriyaki flavors

and that's why I thought I'd end up really preferring their secret menu items made with teriyaki but...

I actually liked their garlic chili double cheese burger the most

when you add that garlicy flavor to those beef burger patties

it really elevated the overall feel of the burger

I really enjoyed how that hit of spice enhanced the burger as well

and the thing that came in second were

the bacon added teriyaki mcburgers

and in 3rd it might be the chicken filet

the one with added cheddar cheese sauce

I really did like the interplay of the cheddar cheese sauce with the aurora sauce in this burger

I thought it tasted rather good

ahhh its been a while since I last had a mcflurry shortcake

so good!

Hey, guys! So today we're going to talk about the AMAZING tale of Beauty and the Beast. I know I'm a little late because of the new Disney's Beauty and the Beast movie

came out a while ago, but it's worth it! Just remembering I'm using this books here, Contos de Fadas, from Editora Zahas as base from this "Reading Fairytales" series.

This tale was written by

I'VE TRAINED A LOT TO SAY IT RIGHT!! But let's call her Je. But here, in this edition says that Je's tale is

a lean version of another writer called

This one I didn't train, sorry. So today we're going to talk about Je's version, which is really good! I don't doubt that someone don't know the story

of Beauty and the Beast, because we've got movies, but even though I think it's worth, because there are some things that are differente from that we know.

So I'm going to make a Spoiler Alert here in the video, because then, if you don't want to listen to the end of the story, you can stop there, ok?

Because there are some people, from this "Reading Fairytales" series, that are asking me for a spoiler version of the videos, so I thought I could make a 2 in 1,

so, when I'll say some spoiler I'll warn you, who wants to continue, can go on and who doesn't, can stop, ok? But if you want to see my

final considerations about the tale, I'll leve here in the description box the minute I'll start my commentaries about the tale, they

won't have any spoilers, so you can watch without featr, ok? And now let's go to the tale, in this story we have a rich dealer, who has 3 sons and 3 daughters.

And the 3 daughters were very pretty. But the youngest were the most beautiful and since she little, people called here "Belle". And she was

called Belle forever. But, this thing of the people admire Belle more than the other 2 daughters, made them to become very, but

veeeery jealous. And beside being very jealous, they were arrogant and very BORING, too much. And they just wanted to hang out with rich

people, go to balls, only do rich people's things. While Belle were humble and spend her free time reading good books. Until some day,

unfortunatelly, the dealer lost all of his fortune and everyone had to move to the country and live a poor livre, so the boring sisters were already

sure that someone would marry them to take them off the poverty, but they were so arrogant that no men wanted to marry them. In the other

hand, everyone were sorry for Belle, because she was a very good lady and people said she didn't deserve to have a life like this. Even some nobleman

asked her hand in marriage, but she said no to all of them, saying she would be taking care of her father. In the beginning of the new life, of course Belle were

sad. But a nice thing she says is that it doesn't matter how loud she could cry, it wouldn't bring her fortune back and she would have to learn to live without money, and I thought it was very nice.

Then, after 1 year that the family was living in this conditions, the dealer received a letter saying that a ship with a little of his fortune was found, then everyone were super happy!

So, when the father was going out, the boring sisters came to ask him to buy with the new money some itens of toilette, wigs, perfumes, dresses

and so on! And Belle's dad asked her if she wanted something and in the end she asked for a Rose, because there were no Roses on the region they were living.

And one thing I thought it was interesting is that in this tale, it says that Belle didn't ask for the Rose because she WANTED to. She asked a Rose to make her sisters

don't talk about her, because she "didn't ask for anything. There goes the humble one..." Belle asked for the Rose like "Ah, don't bother me, it can be a Rose, then."

Because obviously, Belle already thought that with all that the sisters already ordered, the money would ran out, so that's why she asked for a Rose.

But when the dealer arrived to the ship to get his fortune, he found out he had some legal problems with the money and left poorer then he was.

Then, in the way back the weather went horrible and he saw at the end of the road, some little lights and found out a CASTLE. He entered in this

castle to look for shelter, because of the bad weather and he found a table full of food. He even waited until 11pm, to see if some servant would appear

but no one came and he couldn't hold anymore and ate everything he had right and went to a super confortable bed in one of the rooms. Then, when he

woke up in the morning, he saw that his clothes were changed, and he was so happy and thankful, thinking it was a Fairy's work, the owner of the casle, and that she was very kind-hearted.

Then he had a breakfast and when he was heading home, he saw a Bed of Roses in the garden of the castle, then he remembered Belle's request.

Then, he took a bunch of Roses and guess who showed up? That's right, the Beast! And like everyone knows, the Beast has this hideous appearance,

very ugly, but I found it so funny, because in this version of the tale, in the illustrations the Beast has a Boar's head. I don't know why they chose a Boar,

but I found that super hilarious [laughs]. Then, the Beast went mad with the dealer, saying "Come on, I gave you food, I gave you shelter and you come and steal my Roses?!"

Then the Beast said that only death was left for the dealer, but the dealer said "No, I was just taking for my daughter..." Then the Beast thought and gave the

dealer a condition. The Beast said that the dealer could survive if he gave one of his daughter to die in his place, otherwise the dealer

would have to come back within 3 days. Of course the dealer wouldn't take this offer, but he said "Okay, okay" just so he could go home and hug his family one last time.

But before leaving, the Beast told the dealer he could go back into the room he slep, grab a chest nad put every coins he wanted to put inside the chest.

Then, the dealer did it, put this coins inside the chest, but came back home sadder than never. And obviously, when he arrived at home, he

told to his family what's happened with the Beast, the condition and OF COURSE that the boring sisters would blame Belle, "Oh, it's your fault, because

of this Rose, look what's going to happen to our father!" But Belle were ready to take the blame and to go in her father's place. Everyone tried to say

'no', but... Everyone, I mean the brothers and her father, right...The sisters, not so much. But she was ready and nobody changed hermind. And then Belle went to

the Beast's castle, but when she get there the Beast treated her very, very well, like a QUEEN. And the Beast fell in love with the Beauty...

(MY COMMENTS ARE IN 07:57) Well, I'm stopping here the non-spoiler version, because a lot of nice things will happen! So, if you're going to watch just until here, I thank for your visiti and

leave a Thums up down below. (SPOILERS) And now, for those who stayed, I'm going to say a little of what happens in the end of the story, without telling details.

Because I'd really like if you guys read the story, because a lot of cool other things happen, and it's worth reading it. So,

basically, what's going to happen? In the mean time that Belle stays with the Beast, everyday in the dinner time, at 9pm, the Beast would show up, chat with

Belle and ask her to marry him, but she always refused, saying she saw him only as a friend. You guys see that the FRIENDZONE happens since...

A long time ago [laughs]. But one day, Belle's father got very sick and she saw him through a magic mirror tha he was sick, and she asked the Beast if she could

visit him. So, alright, he let belle go visit her father, but he said to her "If you don't come back in 8 days I'll dieeeeeee!" This Beast is so dramatic, guys,

it's so funny because he's so dramatic. "Oh, I'll die if you don't come back in 8 days, I can't like without you!" And Belle went home to visit her father and

just to be mean, her sisters made her, force her, invented something to make her stay for more 8 days. And Belle, in her humbleness, in her kindness, in her innocence, stayed for more 8 days and

when she came back to the Beast's castle, he was really, almost dead [laughs]. So Belle stared to analyse her feelings, seeing the Beast in that

sittuation and she realizes that she loved him, truly. It was not only Friendzone [laughs]. And everyone knows that in the end, the Beast turns into a Prince Charming

and we find out he was under a spell. And everyone were happily ever after, except her sisters, because they were cursed by the

Fairy who cursed the Beast, to live as statues in the castle's garden, to witness Belle's happiness. And they were just come back

to normal people if they'd take off the evil in they hearts. So guys, that's Beauty and the Beast tale, from Je [laughs] But I didn't tell all the details

that's why I think it's nice if you read the tale. Now I'm going to talk about what I thought about the tale. It's one of my favorites from this book here,

the story is so cool, the dialogues were very well done and the characters well developed, too. It's one of the longest tales from this book here

but nothing as 30 minutes of reading wouldn't solve it, very fast. We know that there are a lot of adaptations of the Beauty and the Beast tale, specially

from Disney, the most known. But in 2014, a french movie was made, which from all that I've watched, it's the most faithful to this tale, I think it's very nice and I recommend to all

Ballastro ETI Clase 2 - 400/600w. Vídeo tutorial - Duration: 3:52.

Hello. Today I'm going to show you

how to connect an ETI Class 2 Ballast

to two kinds of reflectors: one with a Plug & Play cable,

and another with a simple terminal strip connection.

Let's open the box of the Class 2 ETI, in this case it's 400w,

but there's also a 600w model. So carefully,

we open and take out the ballast, mind, it's fairly heavy.

The instructions to one side, the transformer

on the other side, which comes with, look…

a supply cable and a male Plug & Play.

In this case, we're going to connect to a Stuco, a reflector

that already has the male Plug & Play to connect to the ballast,

which as you can see also has a female Plug & Play.

It's as easy as connecting the male to the female

and we've connected the ballast to the reflector.

The second step, which we can also do before connecting,

is to take the bulb and fit it in the reflector.

Taking care, always holding it by the metal parts.

If you have to hold the glass, then use some paper to protect the bulb,

this will mean the bulb lasts much longer… and firmly

but without forcing it too much, we screw the bulb into the socket.

Perfect, now we simply have to connect

the supply cable to the mains electricity

so that the ballast switches on, as you can see…

We've disconnected the Stuco Plug & Play reflector. We'll leave the cable loose,

and what we're going to do now is connect it with a smooth reflector,

which as you can see comes without cables, it simply has

a terminal strip connection. We're going to use a Plug & Play cable,

in this case a male, and wire it into the reflector.

We're going to follow the colour coded wires. The blue to blue,

on the terminal strip… the green/yellow to the green/yellow, which in this case

is the Earth connection, and the brown to the brown, also in the terminal strip.

Try to tighten them firmly, and take care

that no wires are protruding, that could cause a short-circuit.
