good afternoon and welcome

it is my pleasure to welcome you to the

celebration announcing the naming of our

new athletics and Events Center I am so

delighted that on Wednesday this week just

two days ago the Board of Trustees

adopted a resolution to name this

wonderful new facility after James R

Wilkins jr. the Wilkins family and

specifically Jimmy has been so passionate

about the entire University and about

athletics and you know his generosity

his passion for our athletes his passion

for athletics is just his undying and

unrelenting energy to make this happen we

can't say thank you enough for

everything that they've done for us

throughout our campus and with our new

athletic facility it'll be you know our new

home higher ceilings will be great for

our experience now so it's brought in a

lot of prospects this year just knowing

that we'll have a gym and when we

actually have it it's going to be great

for our programs to get the best

athletes in that we can we're going to

be able to do athletics in a very

different way than we have before it's

going to open up opportunities to

recruit on a much larger scale it's a

shiny new building when students come

and we're out recruiting they're always

asking what are your facilities like

and we are now going to move into the

top third of the ODAC

in terms of quality of athletic

facilities with the new James R. Wilkins

jr. athletics and Events Center you can

also have concerts whether it be a rock

concert

something bigger than our auditoriums

seat now for plays and orchestras that

but if you had a country music star here

something for Apple Blossom you could move it into

the event center and now we have big plus for the community

its the biggest facility from

Harrisonburg to Hagerstown and we're on

schedule for about seven months in right

now and if the schedule stays where it

is and weather cooperates and everything

continues to fall into place like it has

through our good leadership we should

be opening in mid-january

The History of Mountain Bike Wheel Size - Duration: 4:08.

Wheel size.

It became so controversial all of a sudden.

But let me tell you, let me give you a little perspective.

History of Mountain Bike Wheel Size

When we started the company named Mountain Bikes in 1979, there was 26", and 26" was what was easily available.

The 26 x 2.125 Uniroyal Knobby cost $11 at retail, and you could buy it at any shop in the United States.

That was obviously the best tire.

And, let me tell you, we fussed around.

Even though a 20" was a whole bunch lighter, the 26" rolled over everything.

And, you know, that was sort of the obvious size.

In those early days, we subscribed to a magazine to British Cycling Weekly, and we got these little, tiny newsletters.

And going through there, we found, "whoa, who's this guy?"

Geoff Apps!

Geoff Apps had an off-road bike, and he used 700c and 650b x 44mm tires.

These were made in Finland by Hakkapeliitta.

Wow! Wow, look at that!

And you could use a Super Champion 700c rim or a 650b rim by Super Champion, this beautiful alloy rim.

Well, we built ten bikes in the 700c and we built five bikes in the 650b, we got some tires sent over from Geoff Apps.

The bikes worked, but the tires weren't cheap.

So I was going to have to charge $100 - $120 at retail for this tire

when anybody could walk into a shop and buy a Uniroyal Knobby for $11.

Hmm, I didn't know.

And around the same time, the BMX guys in Southern California came out with alloy rims, Araya and Ukai alloy rims.

And so a good old Schwinn S2 steel rim, which was the gold standard for klunkers, that was 55 oz for one rim!

Oh, my God!

And they were chrome plated.

So if you used a set of calipers, and it got wet, it'd be like forget about it, you had no brakes whatsoever.

But the alloy rim came out, and we said, "okay, 26" is here, 26" works."

And that's why we went with 26".

But always in the back of my mind, and a few of the other of the original pioneers,

we thought maybe we should try a larger size.

And, man, it took a long time.

It wasn't until the end of the '90s that we actually made a tire.

And that first tire, for a 700c rim but a full size 52mm tire, I had the guys at WTB make that tire for me.

Charlie Cunningham from that organization, and Mark Slate.

We'd been talking about this for years, and I finally said,

"look, enough of this talk; let's try it, let's see if it works."

So they made this one tire, and that's when we started our big experiment about the 29er.

Is this going to work or not?

And I must say, it's really exciting to be with a company where we no longer have this problem.

We go out and we play around.

Nobody's asking for this, why should we do it?

Because we think it might work, and we should go try it out and see if it does.

We can bring a tire in.

We can make a tire that's totally competitive in every aspect.

This is a great quality piece of rubber with a great designer.

And, guess what? A competitive price.

We can do this.

So we've been able to really open up the whole tire size thing, and now it's less of a debate.

I must say, that for me is the sculpting not so good....

and not a great fan from this set.

But it is the own set with Serbian Infantry for the Great War.

and each with another uniform

It also allows you to look out there and see transition not as a threat but as an opportunity.

It feels so bad and so scary and so frightening.

to my channel today I am sharing an

Ayurvedic hair oil for healthy, thick,

shiny, and smooth hair this herbal oil

will improve the health of your hair

helps to reduce grey hair, reduce dryness

of the scalp and after applying it two

to three times a week you will start to

notice considerable difference in the

health of your hair I make this hair oil

often for my daughter when she goes

back to hostel from home. So let's get

started with the recipe, in a plate I

have already added two fresh amla's or

Indian gooseberry which is known as

"nellika" in Malayalam 5-6 sprigs

of curry leaves and add in a

small handful of shallots which is also

known as "cheriya ulli "in Malayalam. Now

with a grater I am grating the Amla.

Amla is an excellent hair tonic it's a

natural conditioner, helps to reduce hair

fall and grey hair it also encourages

strong and healthy hair growth Amla is

the richest source of vitamin C. The

vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients

present in Amla increases scalp

circulation strengthens hair follicles

and stimulate new hair growth. Amla also

helps to renew pigmentation in the hair

and makes it darker and thicker and thus

it helps to reduce greying

The anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial

properties helps with dandruff and other

scalp conditions. Now grate the shallots

or cheriya ulli also. Small onions improve

blood circulation and strengthens the

hair. Shallots helps to nourish hair,

prevents hair loss, and dandruff. Move the

grated Amla and shallots to one side of

the plate. Wash the curry leaves

thoroughly and then remove it from the

stem and spread it out on the plate

curry leaves has essential nutrients

required for healthy hair growth they

are rich in antioxidants and amino acids

which are essential for hair fall

prevention. Now, shade-dry this for 3 to 4

days you can also cover it with a thin

clothe to prevent dust.

once everything is dried you can hear

the rustling sound of the dried curry

leaves and if the Amla and the shallots

are sticking to the plate, just scrape it

out. Now let's make the herbal oil I am

using one cup of coconut oil and into an

iron pan add in coconut oil and once the

oil starts to heat add the dried

ingredients since there are no moisture

in the ingredients it will get fried up

very fast

stir it and immediately switch off the

flame I like to keep it in the same pan

to allow it to cool down completely as

it will help the ingredients to get

seeped into the oil and once it has

cooled down completely pour it into a

glass container through a strainer use

this oil to massage your hair and scalp

two to three times a week allow the oil

to stay on your hair for at least 20 to

30 minutes and then rinse it with mild

shampoo. This oil can be stored at room

temperature for months so make sure that

you cover it with a tight lid and it is

best to use a glass container for

storing than using a plastic container

a honeydew,

a watermelon,

some mango

cantaloupe,

strawberries,

grapes,

and any type of melted chocolate.

We also have some flower foam,

a pot,

cookie cutters,

some skewers,

which all can be found at the dollar store!

So let's go ahead and get started!

We're gonna move all of this aside and start chopping it all up!

So first we're gonna start off by chopping the watermelon.

Forget everything you've learned about cutting stuff

because we have a new technique!

Take your sharpest knife (CAREFULLY lol)

and slice this bad boy right in half!

Just like so.

Wooow!

After that, you wanna begin to cut these like a giant tomato.

Wow! Look at this big piece of watermelon!

Now let me show you exactly what we're gonna do with it.

So now we have these dollar store cookie cutters and we're gonna make

red heart watermelons.

Simply just punch out the shapes in our watermelon slice.

Now, you can make as many of these as you need for your arrangement.

That's the beauty of it.

Moving on to our next fruit is the pineapple!

And guess what!? We're gonna chop it the same way.

Yeahhhh look at that.

And you guessed it! We're gonna slice it to an inch slice!

This is the way to do it if you're bad at peeling pineapple.

So now we have our pineapple here and I'm gonna take this flower cutter

and place it right in the center of our pineapple.

and you guessed it right!

We're just gonna punch it out.

And there we have it, a flower pineapple!

Now I have my cantaloupe and we're just gonna slice this bad boy right in half.

Look at all the goopiness right in the middle. You wanna get rid of that.

Now that I've cleaned out these melons, we're just gonna flip it over

and cut some more

Try not to slice off your finger

Alright so now we're just gonna peel off the skin of this cantaloupe

Moving on to our next fruit is this lovely honeydew

we're gonna cut it exactly the same as the cantaloupe

Make sure you remove all the gunk out.

And now just like the cantaloupe, we're gonna cut the honeydew just the same.

So for the strawberries, you want to remove the leaf...part...

that what thats callled?

yeah the leaf part

just like so

and we're gonna cut the grapes in half like so

and you wanna keep the top part cause that's gonna be the center of your flower.

now that we have all of our fruits ready, let's shove some sticks in em.

For the pineapple, you're gonna shove it in the hard part of the

the pineapple...

and careful not to get your own fingers

and now we're gonna take the grape that we cut

shove it right at the top so it looks like a little daisy

moving on, now we're gonna shove the stick into our cantaloupe here

and just leave it like this

Now we're doing the same thing with the honeydew. You guessed it! Shove it right at the bottom.

and now we're doing the watermelon hearts and just shove it right in there.

Okay so now that we have all of our fruits on a stick,

we're gonna go ahead and take our pot here

get this flower foam and place it right inside.

After you've done that, make sure you protect your fruit by covering the foam with some plastic wrap.

Here comes the fun part

you can take these sticks and basically shove them wherever you want to.

it's an arrangement.

and that's what we're gonna do with the entire arrangement

and you wanna start from, kind of like a triangle,

build it up tall and bring it back down.

Tada! Your mom's gonna be super proud!

Look at this beautiful edible arrangement!

Here is a strawberry dipped in chocolate

and it has some sprinkles on it for the fun moms. ;)

How to Hang Drywall – Drywall Installation - Duration: 2:26.

Hanging drywall is a multi-step process

that an experienced DIYer can do with

a little help. Here's an overview of

what's involved. Keep in mind that

drywall sheets can be difficult to carry

and maneuver. Get a helper or a dry wall

panel lift. You can rent one at The Home

Depot Tool Rental Center. Hanging drywall

horizontally will result in fewer seams

to tape. And they'll be at a convenient

height. Control drywall dust with plastic

sheeting at doors and by shutting off

the AC. And always use a dust mask and

eye protection. Before starting, mark stud

locations on the ceiling to help when

driving this drywall screws. When hanging

your first panel make sure to measure

and cut so that the end will wind up in

the middle of a stud. Also, you should

always start in the center and work out

across the top, driving your screws 16

inches apart into all studs. You'll hang

the top rows first and then finish with

your bottom rows. You'll continue hanging

full sheets as before by butting them

snugly against the others. But, make sure

to avoid seams lining up with door and

window corners. What about things like

windows, doors and outlets? You'll be

doing a lot of measuring and cutting for

these, so plan ahead, take your time, and

be sure to have all the right tools and

materials. And keep in mind the old

do-it-yourself mantra: measure twice, cut

once. You'll save yourself a lot of

frustration.

One tip that will help the finished look

of your room is to not align seams. In

other words, begin your bottom row of

drywall with a shorter panel and the one

already in place above it. That way the

seams between the panels in each row

will not align directly above each other.

Also, leave a slight gap between the

floor and the drywall so the drywall

won't be affected by slight bumps in the

floor. Baseboards will cover that later.

And don't forget your metal corner bead.

You'll be attaching that to the exposed

corners to protect the drywall. When all

your drywall is hung, you might want to

take a break because your work isn't

quite done. You'll still need to do your

joint work to hide your seams. Obviously

this is just a brief overview of the dry

wall hanging process. For more detailed

for heart pumping action with the

high-performance cars of The Fast and

Furious cool check out what was in there

okay so this is what's in the package

before I remove

okay so let's check these out first the

1970 Plymouth Road Runner and these are

like hot wheels or Matchbox cars guys

bought the same size most of them are a

room noise anyway this big foots their

rolls really nice and smooth and then

let's go ahead and check out 1970 Dodge

Charger off-road so this was really cool

with the two spare tires on the back

it's like a muscle car with off-road

tires so this one is like I said we

could look into and then this is the RAM

armored truck with snowfall so it

actually has tires under the treads

there so you can see the tires there ah

it has like tank treads the big snow

plow this is one mean-looking vehicle

and I think because it has the angle if

you push that down you get a car to hit

it right it should perform a stunt

well it doesn't run up the car so okay

and then the next one is Dom's

ice searchers so whose car is really

cool I already showed you guys this in

another set of some of these cars you

could buy them separate so we've already

seen this one before that one's really

cool and then our final one the 1969

Dodge Charger Daytona so this one's

really cool with the big tail in the

back once again really nice good roll

and then let's go ahead and open up the

set and we'll try launching some of

these cars okay so let's see what came

in this pack so looks like we've got

some road pieces here we've got a

launcher here which is the shape of a

car's engine we've got the front of the

train here here you got the gate that

moves up and down that you got to try

avoiding got them off accessories here

train track stuff part of the track and

a set of stickers and a background so

let me go ahead and set this up and then

we can check it out okay guys so here is

the car set all set up the fence in the

back is actually from Jurassic Park so

that is not included in the set with the

set you got this cool launcher that

looks like a car engine so you just go

ahead and hit that and it launches the

car off goes up this ramp you've got

some all boxes and stuff you just set up

there for like stunts and then ah you

got this swinging gate here so you're

trying to clear this before the train

comes obviously the trains not moving

here but it does look like it's moving

because the train piece pops out of an

awesome background graphic there so you

can even start swinging this if you want

it's got like a weight in one end so it

swings back and forth and they're

supposed to clear the Train and try to

make it on to that other part so let's

take let's launch the car and see if we

can clear the gate once is swinging in

ah he hit it okay let's try this again

we're gonna uh watch your heart oh yeah

okay so that we're going to go ahead

India Outsmarts China on OBOR - Duration: 9:13.

Welcome to WARN, Todays News is.

India Outsmarts China on OBOR When Nepal�s President Bidya Devi Bhandari

came to India on a five-day visit, she didn�t know that her country�s northern neighbour,

China was watching her first ever foreign trip very keenly.

Bidya Devi Bhandari is a constitutional head of Nepal who has no decision making power,

yet Beijing seemed to be wary of her visit because she wore on her sleeve a very high

national symbol and it is that of President.

As per media reports, when Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias �Prachanda� recently

made a visit to China, his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping turned out to be one

which led Prachanda come out with no fond memories.

It is said that he was asked to implement all agreements signed between the two nations

when KP Oli was the Prime Minister.

No new bilateral agreement was signed between Nepal and China during Prachanda�s visit.

A few weeks after his arrival from China, Prachanda cleared the way for Bidya Bhandari�s

visit which could not take place last year as Nepal�s ex-Prime Minister Oli cancelled

it in the last moment in an attempt to embarrass India.

Apart from giving red-carpet welcome which included ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati

Bhawan, Bidya Bhandari was offered all necessary helps to make her trip comfortable and memorable.

At the moment when China is leaving no stone unturned to make its forthcoming summit on

One Belt One Road(OBOR) highly successful, India�s attempt to throw all charms around

Nepal would not have given Chinese authorities a good night sleep.

India has also assured Nepal help in conducting local government body polls scheduled to be

held in May and June.

Conducting local body polls smoothly would help Prachanda strengthen his leadership further

in the background of the fact that provincial and national elections are also going to take

place later this year.

This will be the first time in 20 years that local elections will take place in the Himalayan

nation, which will pay the way for full transition of the country into republican democracy,

besides unencumbered execution of developmental agenda of the government.

But political parties in the Madhes region, Nepal�s plain area which is home to around

50 percent of the country�s total population, have threatened to boycott the polls to pressure

Kathmandu to address their demands, including the amendment of Nepal�s new Constitution.

The Prachanda government has tabled the revised Constitutional amendment bill in Parliament,

but it is not confident that whether Madhesis would welcome it or not.

It is in this view, Prime Minister Modi�s assurance to Prachanda of help during their

telephonic talks on April 25, assumes high significance.

These developments have yielded India apparent strategic benefits.

First of all, Nepal scaled down its first military exercise with China; the two countries

initially planned to hold a battalion-scale military exercise.

But given India�s concern, Nepal Army not only cut down the size of its military exercise

with Chinese Army�s soldiers, code-named �Sagarmatha Friendship 2017,� but also

changed the venue to a military school.

Secondly, Nepal has joined the league of the South Asian nations like Bangladesh, Maldives

and Bhutan which have refused to sign their memorandum of understanding for their participation

in the summit for the ambitious OBOR project.

Only Lanka and Pakistan have confirmed their participation in the conclave to be held in

Beijing on May 14-15.

India has already turned down the invitation and there is less likely that it would lower

its guard on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor on which Beijing has again hiked its investment

from earlier $55 billion to $62 billion now.

More than 20 countries, including Russia have agreed to join the two-day conclave.

In the meanwhile, in the ongoing tug of war between India and China on the OBOR initiative,

seen by New Delhi as China�s design to create facilitation for increasing its strategic

foot prints across the world, besides dumping cheap Chinese goods in to the markets of Asia,

Middle East, Africa and Europe, some South Asian countries have fallen victim to the

catch-22 situation.

The countries like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives and Myanmar which, apart

from sharing close boundaries, enjoy good relations with India, don�t want to jeopardize

their bilateral engagement with Beijing as well.

Sri Lankan has already communicated to Beijing that it would be represented by Prime Minister

Ranil Wickremesinghe instead of President Sirisena at the summit.

In consonance with India�s maritime and strategic interests, Colombo has assured India

that Hambantota port, whose more than 80 percent share the Sri Lankan government could not

sell to China Merchants Port Holdings for 99 years because of stiff opposition from

public and within the government, would not be allowed to become a �military port.�

The same assurance was given by the Sri Lankan Prime Minister during his recent visit to

Japan.

Also, he had assured his Japanese interlocutors that foreign forces would not be allowed to

use Hambantota and other ports in Sri Lanka in a way inimical to the interests of other

countries.

That means China�s design to turn Hambantota port into a strategic part of its OBOR initiative,

has been blunted.

On the other hand, India has been successful in stopping Bangladesh from being completely

swallowed away by China.

The manner Prime Minister Narendra Modi, breaking all protocols, went to the Palam airport in

New Delhi to receive Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and then extended $5 billion

worth of assistance for the purchase of defence equipment and another tranche of $4.

50 billion for the development of infrastructure, it showed that New Delhi would do anything

to restrict Dhaka from becoming another client state of China in South Asia.

After Pakistan, Bangladesh was the second-largest recipient of Chinese equipment between 2011

and 2016.

Dhaka received a pair of Ming-class Type 035B diesel electric submarines from Beijing in

2016.

In the same year (October, 2016), Xi Jinping made first ever Chinese presidential visit

in 30 years to Bangladesh.

During the visit, the two countries had signed 27 deals and MoUs totaling $13.6 billion.

China-Bangladesh ties were also elevated from a comprehensive partnership to a strategic

partnership.

But playing a smart game and that too just before the planned OBOR summit to which Dhaka

is also one of the invitees, India hosted Sheikh Hasina and stymied Beijing�s effort

to lure Bangladesh away from India�s influence.

Sources say that one would witness its impact in the course of Dhaka�s representation

at the forthcoming OBOR summit in China.

They refused to elaborate on this account, but agreed to say that the initiative would

between the two countries.

Mahat has visited India six times since last year, he has not made a trip to China even

once.

Indication is that Prachanda will not lead the Nepalese delegation at the summit.

Bhutan and Maldives will send their representation to the two-day summit, yet their participation,

according to sources, will be there for the formality sake.
