⚡ Flow Entrevista ⚡ Mahamed Aly ● Parte 1 - Duration: 21:56.

BJJ Emotions and FlowGrips present:

Flow Entrevista (Flow Interview)

Subtitles: Lara Lobo

Hey guys we're here today with someone who doesn't even need an introduction: Mahamed Aly.

First of all I would like to thank him for being here, we know the World Championship is near

and the preparation is intense but he found a space in his agenda

to be interviewed by us. So let's get started.

First of all we want to know a little bit about your childhood, where were you born and what did you like to do?

Thank you guys for the opportunity of being here with FlowGrips doing this interview.

It's a beginning of a project that I know will work out perfectly because the guys

are extremely organised. Even though the guys are relatively new to Jiu-Jitsu and are very young,

I can see proper organisation here, the guys have three cameras recording

I'm live on Facebook at the same time

it's just beautiful to see their hard work and commitment.

I like being surrounded by serious and hardworking people who work to achieve their goals.

To answer your question, I'm from Rio de Janeiro and I lived in Caxias until I was 9.

After that I live in Jacarepaguá and was raised in Gardênia until I was 17 years old

and from then I lived in the gym, until today.

Now I live in the US, I have my house and my family so all is good.

When I was a child I liked to run and mess around, like most children.

The only reason I would go to school is to play, to mess around.

I didn't like studying, I didn't have the patience to listen to important things

and I never gave the proper importance to studying.

I only understood what studying was in high school, when I was 15 years old. So that's it, it took me a while

to understand how important it was but when I was a child I didn't really care about that.

And you were always in the martial arts world, right?

I tried a few things. I did Capoeira and Kung Fu when I was a child so yeah I tried a few things.

But I only fell in love with Jiu-Jitsu.

I fell in love with it and decided to dedicate most of my time to it.

And it worked right? It's been working, yeah.

So when you started practicing Jiu-Jitsu, who was your idol?

Who did you look at and think "that's who I want to be when I grow up"?

I think that when you start Jiu Jitsu everyone thinks their Sensei is the best in the world

so I loved my instructors: Brigadeiro e Paulinho.

I believed they had the best Jiu Jitsu in the world. And they do! The guys are awesome!

But when I started to understand competitive Jiu-Jitsu,

Roger was the guy that I saw myself in. Even though I was small

▪ Laughs ▪

I was small at time! I already liked Roger. I mean was small, I was 15 years old, and I already liked Roger!

I used to watch his highlights 24 hours per day.

It's impressive because, not only him but Rodolfo as well, they made black belts world champions look like

white belts, you know? When I saw Roger fight or when I saw Rodolfo fight, it was like watching a one man match

It looked like there was no point in the other guy being there so it was beautiful to see. I know there is

a lot of effort put into it, because there are people who practice their whole life and they don't get to that level.

I mean, 99.9% of people practice all their life and never get to that level! So it's truly beautiful.

You fought for Team Nogueira and...

Then you changed to Lloyd Irvin right? How was this change viewed by your peers

and by people who practice with you? Did they take it well?

When I left Brigadeiro, he stopped talking to me for years.

I dreamt of doing MMA

and Brigadeiro wanted me to fight MMA without doing boxing.

I told him: Brigadeiro, there is no way, I weigh 90kg. When I was 16/17 years old I already weighed 95kg.

I used to tell him I had to do boxing

and he would say "you will, at the right time"

I didn't really agree with him

and by coincidence, my friend who was a physical trainer took me to Team Nogueira to have a look.

When I got there Minotauro gave me supplements,

money for my travels, all so I could train with them.

I thought: Supplements? Money for travel?

I used to cycle on an old bike for 25km to get to the gym.

Actually the bike was lent to me by Brigadeiro at the time because I didn't even have a bike.

So when I heard that I thought "this is another level".

Obviously that not all instructors have the means to give their students supplements

or to give them those conditions.

The thing is when I heard that I thought "this is where I want to be".

I put everything into Jiu-Jitsu

and into my training and I want to be valued.

So I spoke to Brigadeito, he didn't really agree with me

and I kept practicing in both places, at Team Nogueira and at Brigadeiro.

But it got to a point where I was so involved with the guys, Rodrigo and Rogerio,

that I stopped going to Brigadeiro.

From that point we stopped talking for a year.

However, when I was world champion for the purple belt (for the first time), Brigadeiro was in California.

On that day he was really rooting for me and I that made me cry and we were fine after that.

But it's very hard to change teams you know, very hard.

It's one thing that is still not common in Jiu Jitsu.

Even though it has been changing,

people still don't take it in a good way. I think it's wrong!

I don't think anyone should be forced to like someone's training.

You can be the best instructor in the world

but the student might just not like the way you train.

I don't think there is better or worse, just which training fits you best.

Some people like to run to warm up, some people like drills, some people like to stretch,

some people like to train for two hours, some one hour and a half…

some for an hour.

Some people like to train at 6 in the morning and some at 8 in the evening

and some people like to train the whole day.

Each school/gym is going to work in a particular way and I think the student will either fit in or not.

Almost no one is lucky enough to find the best gym for them at first.

I think the gym has to have the same goals as the student.

Many times gyms are focused on competing and the student doesn't want to compete,

they may just want to have fun, to get some exercise in.

Sometimes the gym is focused on Jiu Jitsu as a hobby or as self defence but the student wants to compete.

There are various scenarios. Sometimes the person just wont fit in with the other people at the gym.

So about Creonte and that thing they say about having to stay in the gym they started forever

I think that is close minded and that it hinders those who wants to thrive.

It just doesn't exist in any other sport. Football isn't like that, professional careers are not like that.

If you don't like the company you're in and you get a better offer you just go.

So I think it's silly and very old school.

And also learning from other people, right? Exactly, I think it's silly!

I think everyone should do what makes them feel good. But obviously you have to man up!

You have to talk to people and be open about it because everything gets sorted when people talk.

But I don't agree with judging someone for changing gyms.

And why did you choose to do Jiu-Jitsu at Lloyd Irvin?

I fought my first Jiu Jitsu world championship in 2013 and I lost in the semi-finals.

It was then that I realised that I was doing it the wrong way round: I left Jiu Jitsu for MMA.

In 2012 I didn't practice Jiu-Jitsu.

In 2013 I decided to attend a championship

and that's when I won. When I won, I was graduated to the purple belt

and the Jiu Jitsu fire inside me started to burn again, you know?

I thought "It's time to go back to Jiu-Jitsu"

so I started saving money, travelling

and then I went to the world championship and I lost at the semi-finals.

That's when I met Lloyd - he saw me fight and liked me.

We started talking but he spoke English so all we did was exchange names and Facebook

because I didn't speak English.

So we started talking via Facebook and nothing more.

I never thought that one day I would move to the US "what a crazy thought! that wasn't going to happen to me!"

That's when I started training all the time, going to every championship; loosing some and winning some.

This is when it hit me: "I need Jiu Jitsu". I was practising MMA,

a serious team but completely focused on MMA and not on Jiu Jitsu.

Most of the people that trained with me didn't even wear a Kimono, ever!

So I was wearing myself out practicing MMA and helping the UFC guys but I wasn't focused on me,

I was focused on them.

So then I decided I needed to try. I went to Abu dhabi and from Abu Dhabi

I went straight to Lloyd. I was there a month and I won the world championship.

After that I started going there, staying for a month and coming back home.

Then I would go back and stay for two months and come back home.

And then I went for 2 months and I stayed for a year and a half… And I'm still there.

Apart from training, resting and training again, what are your tips - that 3% extra - your secret

that you would like to share with everyone that practices really hard and that dreams of achieving

your level of technique?

I believe that there is one thing that you just can't replace with anything.

You can change how you train, even if you're hurt you can train your mind;

you can always change your body, if your leg is hurt you can exercise your arm for example.

But if you don't believe in the work your doing,

if you don't like your team, if you don't have faith in what you do

some people see it from a religious point of view and some people from a scientific point of view

but no matter how you think about it, your confidence

will always be the most important thing you know?

So I think that above it all and before you do anything, you need to believe in yourself.

For example, in my case I lived in such a tiny street that a car would barely fit.

When it rained I had to put a plastic bag on my feet so they wouldn't get completely dirty from the mud.

When you looked up all you could see were wires and you would leave the house wondering when

there would be a short circuit and the whole place would set on fire.

I had faith that I wasn't going to live like that forever you know?

I had faith that one day I would open the window and I would be in a nice place.

I have no problems in being from the favelas

but like they say: you don't choose where you are born but you choose where you die.

So it's all a matter of attitude.

When you believe in what you want,

when you have faith, that's when things happen. God will give you tools - there will be a nice instructor,

there be people to help you but you must be focused and you must believe in yourself.

There is no point in training a thousand times per day if you don't believe you are capable.

So I think that believing in what you are doing is the most important thing!

On Facebook and Youtube we always hear people talking about warm ups

and how that is old news and that it is not needed anymore. What do you think about that?

Do you warm up? Do you think it's necessary?

Dude I hate warming up! I've always hated it!

I've hated it since I was a white belt.

In fact, when I was a white belt I though I knew everything

"do you really think that if I do 50 sit-ups, 20 push ups and 50 star jumps, I'm going to improve anything?"

that's how I thought at the time.

But today I know that building a career is the same thing as building a house:

you have to lay one brick at a time.

There are studies that show that the more you do something the better you become at it,

you will not only improve the technique but your actual muscles and general physique.

When you do something your body feels it and it reacts better to it the more you do it.

So escaping the hips (shrimp movement) is very important and it's going to really help you.

Warming up is also going to really help you and it's going to prevent injuries.

I have hurt myself many times because I didn't warm up, you know?

The more you learn, the more you know your body and you will understand

that everything that happens while you train is for a reason.

So when you've been training for one, two years, you don't know anything.

Sometimes you need 30/40 years to develop your training method,

until you feel you are the best in that specific method, you know?

So warming up is very important and it has to be done. And even if it is not important,

you don't want to be that guy that arrives fresh and ready to train when everyone else is tired, you know?

So I think you have to follow what is being proposed to you.

Speaking of training, we all know that you are the ultimate best at stretching.

We have a guy that after training does all your videos.

So tell us, what does a week of training look like to you, what do you usually do: Jiu-Jitsu, the gym…

Well, people change right? We are changing all the time. At the beginning

when I started training, I wanted to train as much as I could, even when I was tired, even exhausted.

I studied, I worked and did Jiu Jitsu and I wanted to be training no matter what.

I fainted a few times at the gym because I was too tired!

I've trained (and this happens still today) and I get a fever from training so much, you know?

That is not healthy. Obviously that an athlete's life is different to someone that only trains as a hobby, right?

But I just love training as much as I can and for as long as I have the energy to.

Before, when I started not having the energy, I used to associate it with laziness.

I used to think "I don't feel like exercising and that's because I am lazy. I am not going to win the championship,

I'm not focused" - but no! It's your body talking to you.

Many of those times I was very exhausted and my body was telling me to rest

and I would continue training and I would hurt myself, you know?

So today I am trying to increase the quality of my training rather than the amount of times I do it.

I try to prepare myself physically, to do Jiu-Jitsu, but I don't have specific rules, it just depends.

For example now I am preparing myself for the World Championship, I was training for Berkut last week.

I was training from Sunday to Sunday, do you know what I mean?

But sometimes I rest Saturday and Sunday and sometimes I take Wednesday off to rest so it depends.

I think that if you have the energy to train then train

but if you feel tired then go to the gym and stretch. Go to the gym and do a drill,

try to rest actively which is also very important.

Talk to your instructor which is even better than listening to me saying

"you have to do this and you should do that".

Everyone has a different body, different genetics and a different lifestyle.

So you you were saying before that you prepared yourself for Berkut.

How is it just before the competition? Do you decrease the intensity of your Jiu-Jitsu training

so you don't injure yourself or do you continue as always?

The only championship I decrease intensity for is the World Championship.

I prepare myself the whole year for that championship so I don't let the last week ruin it, only because

I'm nervous - sometimes you are anxious and you end up doing too much or too little.

I mean, even an ingrown toenail can affect your performance in a championship, you know?

Especially if you take into account that everyone is very well prepared for the world championship.

So yes, I do that for the World Championship. I have taken the week before the competition

just to lose weight, to travel or to put my head in the right place because I believe

that I won't get particularly better in one week. On the contrary, I can let my muscles recover

and they will be much better prepared because they're not going to be tired, you know?

All the micro injuries I may have will recuperate and I will be 100%. However, for the other competitions I train normally

I like to look at the other competitions like a practice because my objective in life is to be world champion.

I don't train to be a Pan champion or an European champion,

I train to be a world champion, do you see what I mean?

So I actually stop to be able to travel, for example,

I had to cross the Atlantic to come to the European championship

so I take a break but not like for the World Championship,

but for the World Championship I try to focus the best I can.

Now we are going to do something a bit more upbeat - a word game, something different.

I am going to say a word and you are going to tell me the first thing that comes to your mind, ok?

Victory

I don't know...

I don't know, victory is…I have to elaborate. I think victory can't be the reason for anything

because victory may not come,

despite everything. You can prepare yourself as much as you can and not win, you know?

So sometimes we set victory as our goal, like a false illusion of happiness and that is not true.

Victory is a result of many things, of many variables and victory is the consequence of a defeat.

For one person to win the other has to lose so I don't like live my life thinking about being champion

or in being victorious because I know that I already am.

It is very difficult to talk about this because people might think you have to think that way,

that you must achieve victory at any cost and that is not true, I don't like that.

Some people will sell their soul to win a championship and I don't think it's worth it.

You have to live according to that of course but it shouldn't define who you are.

If it's not today it will be tomorrow, right? Exactly!

Winning doesn't make you victorious and losing doesn't make you a loser, you know?

They are two distinct things - I think you have to go after it but you don't have to kill yourself to get there.

Sorry for… It's OK, it's OK!!

Quantum Communicating With The Extraterrestrial Intelligence - Duration: 7:40.

Quantum Communicating With The Extraterrestrial Intelligence

Humanity is facing now the dawn of a new technological era involving quantum mechanics in almost

all aspects of social life, from computation to communication.

It might be natural to ask if we shouldnt consider search for quantum messages from

extraterrestrial intelligence.

China has launched the first quantum communication satellite last year bringing the humanity

on the verge of a huge jump in communication technology.

Considering light as the carrier of the quantum information, the Chinese satellite is primarily

designed to test the robustness of quantum entanglement, a bizarre property of quantum

systems responsible for quantum computation and quantum communication.

Furthermore, this first quantum satellite will probe not only high security data encryption

but also a new way of data transfer as quantum information encoded in properties of the light

particles, photons.

The quantum communication revolution may prove importance in transferring data at far distances

and so, in communicating with our peer intelligence life in the universe.

Is quantum communication through light the answer to our long search for the Extraterrestrial

intelligence (ETI) signals?

Quantum information processing in Nature

As weird as may sound considering our actual technology of exploring the physical reality,

quantum communication might be the primarily way of information transfer in the universe,

as a recent article suggests.

According to the article, light traveling in the deformed spacetime close to the spinning

black holes is constrained to encode and process quantum information pretty much like the information

is manipulated in our actual laboratory quantum computers.

Following the curved and twisted lines of the distorted spacetime photons encode quantum

bits of information in defined sequences that could make one to think of computer program

lines of a code.

When eventually escape the black hole influence, photons in the light beams are endowed with

simple quantum codes that we may interpret and asses the information they contain.

Since quantum computation and quantum communication seem natural phenomenon occurring in the universe,

it might look genuine to consider quantum communication with light as the proper way

advanced civilization exchange information.

Searching for extraterrestrial quantum messages

We already have the technological capabilities to detect and measure quantum information

encoded in light.

Accordingly, many university laboratories and private companies around the world are

testing quantum technology in all aspects of their applicability, from encoding quantum

algorithms in photons, to transferring quantum bits at significant distances and to storing

quantum information.

The technological equipment researchers are using now in labs may well serve to analyze

the light captured by telescopes from outer space and measure the quantum information

stored in every photon.

Moreover, pointing the telescope in the right direction in space, considering all the earth-like

exoplanets lately discovered by NASA, our chances to detect quantum signals increase.

Initially, we may only detect and measure elementary quantum states exhibiting a certain

extent of quantum entanglement or even maximally entangled Bell states.

This is a clear sign that we are not alone.

Although, we may detect and decode fragments of quantum information stored in the astronomical

light, to properly identify the encoded message we need some special tools.

Quantum computation

Detection the quantum information encoded in light might be the premise to quantum communicating

with ETI, but still it not resolves the problem of interpreting the content of the message.

The required instrument that hypothetically may arrange the detected quantum states in

the right sequence to decipher the quantum message is the quantum computer.

Harnessing the computation tremendous power of quantum computers quantum states of photons

may be put together in the right order to form the intelligible output.

The efforts to create a functional quantum computer are now in the final stage of moving

the final product out of laboratory and implement it on the industrial level.

In the not so distant future quantum computation will be part of our daily routine.

Still, the fact that we will not be able to properly interpret the quantum message we

may detect from outer space intelligent life should not affect our quantum search for ETI;

even the SETI program if will one day detect an extraterrestrial signal, most probably

wont be able to immediately decrypt its content.

Instant alert

Another key ingredient in the attempt to quantum communicate with other intelligent forms of

life in the universe is a mean to decrypt quantum messages.

We should need a quantum key.

The quantum key ensures the security of the communication and endow the receiver with

the necessary tool to properly asses the content of the message.

In the absence of the quantum key we may not be able to properly decipher a hypothetical

quantum message ETI may communicate.

Although the quantum key is missing, we should emphasize here a remarkable property of quantum

entanglement.

Thus, the measurement of the quantum state of one photon of an entangled pair instantly

decays the state of the other.

Roughly speaking, when we will first detect and measure the quantum information encoded

in photons by ETI, the sender of the message will intently be avert.

Our first quantum measurement acts like an alert button, instantly alerting the

sender ETI that another technological superior civilization in the universe is raising.

In conclusion, all we have to do is to measure the quantum information stored in one tiny

photon to connect ourselves to the universal quantum internet.

True Draco Zoodiacs vs True King Dino, Demise True Draco, and Infernoids! - Duration: 15:25.

What's up guys, TopTierYugioh Here

and today, we have some duels with Zoodiac True Dracos vs

True King Dinos, Demise True Dracos, and Infernoids

So we have some great competition, so you'll

want to stick around until the end to see how those go

Now you are going to notice that are some replay errors

But in each case, it is very clear who wins the game

So in this game, I'm going to out VFD + Naturia Beast

And then still have Barrage + Diagram + Master Peace

So even though there's a little error, and you won't see the exact end of the game

It's very obvious who's about to win the game, so

Nonetheless, let's go ahead and get into these duels

I hope you enjoy them, and the deck profile will be at the end of the video

Alright Guys, I hope you enjoyed those games

and I hope you see how strong this deck is now

If you watched this far into the video, let's do a little hashtag

So drop a hashtag #DracoDominance down in the comment section if you watched this far

If you did, I really appreciate you, I appreciate everybody who watched this far into the video

You guys are AWESOME!

So one thing that I do want to point out is that I only lose 2 games

So one of the reasons this deck is so good is because it forces your opponents to play at a certain level

So if you had to rate your hands on a scale of 1-10

you can't beat this deck with a 7 or an 8 hand, you need 9s and 10s level hands in order to win

So one of the games I lost, to True King Dinosaurs,

He had Lithosagym + 2 Babies + PsyFrame Gamma

PsyFame Gamma to negate my Ghost Ash, so he had a free PsyFrameLord Omega and the Combo

So he had to have opened very very well just to win

Then the other loss was to infernoids, and he opened double Void Feast and Tour Guide

So again, he had to open up very very well in order to win, and none of the games were that easy either

A lot of them were grind games, but this deck is just able to grind so well

The resource management is off the charts, and at the end of the day

This deck has the best engine (Zoodiacs), The best Combo (Lunalight bs), RIP to that lol

Then you also have the best Monster (Master Peace)

So this deck really does have all the best things this format, and its hard for other decks to beat all of those

You have the Zoodiac engine, which is so hard to play around,

Then you have Master Peace, which is... Even harder to play around

And then you're drawing into those and hand traps

Every single turn, which is insane

Its one of the reasons why I think this IS one of the best decks this format

and it'll still be the best deck next format

Of course the Lunalight combo won't be there, but you still have the other two of those 3 things

You still have Zoodiacs and you still have True Dracos

Or.... Master Peace, at least

This deck will continue to be a force in the metagame because it can constantly make stronger plays

Than most other decks going first or second

So again, thank you for watching again

Drop Hashtag #DracoDominance if you did, I'd really appreciate it

That would be awesome!

As always Guys, thanks for watching, and I will see you in the next video!

Here's how the world will make sure Donald Trump is happy in his first trip abroad - Duration: 3:40.

Heres how the world will make sure Donald Trump is happy in his first trip abroad

President Donald Trump has been preparing all week for his first trip outside the United

States.

Hes been studying maps and looking at memos that have his name mentioned in as many

paragraphs as possible.

And so, as Trump prepares to depart for Saudi Arabia which is really, really excited

about the presidential visit host nations are scrambling to make sure that Trump wont

feel too, well, abroad.

Even though the president will be in the Middle East, he will still be given his own special

meals, the Associated Press reported:

In Saudi Arabia, people with knowledge of the planning for Trumps trip say the caterers

are planning to offer the president steak and ketchup alongside the lamb and hefty portions

of rice on the menu.

All the meat will have been butchered in a Shariah-compliant halal manner as per Islamic

custom.

The AP attributed this to Trumps homebody status.

Since beginning his campaign in 2015, Trump has gone abroad exactly once: to Scotland,

where he opened a Trump-branded golf resort.

Since the November election he has slept in exactly four places: his home at Trump Tower

in New York, the White House, his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida and his golf club in New

Jersey.

The AP reasons it this way: Staffers know his meal preferences and the exact temperature

he likes a room set at.

Hes often surrounded by long-time friends and acquaintances who have memberships to

the commander in chief-owned retreats. But to observers, Trumps preferences are

all too familiar:

Trumps trip abroad wont focus on any boring things like history.

Instead, countries will be chatting with him about his favorite topic his big, huge

win.

The New York Times explains:

After four months of interactions between Mr. Trump and his counterparts, foreign officials

and their Washington consultants say certain rules have emerged: Keep it short no 30-minute

monologue for a 30-second attention span.

Do not assume he knows the history of the country or its major points of contention.

Compliment him on his Electoral College victory.

Contrast him favorably with President Barack Obama.

Do not get hung up on whatever was said during the campaign.

Stay in regular touch.

Do not go in with a shopping list but bring some sort of deal he can call a victory.

Theres one thing that pretty clearly wont be discussed: human rights.

When Obama visited the region in 2009, he made an appeal to the Muslim world promoting

self-determination, democracy and individual rights, Reuters noted.

Dont expect Trump to make a similar appeal, especially as those nations have notably been

curbing opposition of late.

And the president, who on the campaign trail hit Hillary Clinton for being low-energy,

has his team building daily downtime into his otherwise jam-packed schedule, the

AP noted.

At least the president will have his family with him when he leaves Friday afternoon.

That includes daughter and son-in-law Ivanka and Jared Kushner, who got permission from

their rabbi to fly on Air Force One on Friday evening, when the Jewish sabbath begins.

Ascension Toolkit #7 Faith - Duration: 4:36.

Ascension Toolkit #7 - Faith

by Michael H Hallett,

Previous articles in this series have looked at a variety of emotional tools that are available

to you, 24/7 and entirely free, to help you through Ascension.

As I have already mentioned, the Ascension process is very much like a stock market graph

with lots of falls and rises, with the long-term trend taking you ever higher.

When youre on the rising part of the Ascension stock market graph you dont need tools.

You can feel yourself coming together.

Burdens fall away.

You have the strange feeling of somehow being glued together a little better than before,

like some wound you didnt even know existed has just healed.

Crash

Where the tools come in is when youre in the dips, falls and outright crashes of the

stock market graph.

They can be sudden, sharp and deep.

When you hit such a fall you get a severe emotional jolt.

Your emotional toolbox goes flying across the room and all those shiny tools Ive

talked about in previous articleslike intent, neutrality and discernmenttumble out and

land just out of reach.

Youre lying on the floor crying.

Even breathing seems almost too much.

Your chest feels crushed, like the air can hardly enter and escape.

You dont have the togetherness to apply any of the principles Ive discussed.

This whole Ascension Toolkit series is just so many useless words.

Its time for another tool: faith.

Im not talking about religious faith here.

Im talking about faith in yourself and the faith that you are in the grip of a sentient

healing process.

In other words, no matter how much it looks like your life has just disintegrated, you

are actually on track for wherever your unique Ascension process is taking you.

A quick word about god Everyone has a framework for viewing existence.

For some people that includes god, for others it doesnt.

If you believe in god, then by all means have faith in them.

But you must include yourself in the picture.

Have faith that god is working through you and with you.

The Ascension process leads from separation to unity.

Every separatist belief in your psyche will ultimately be squeezed out of you.

You must see yourself as a whole, integral part of the entire physical and non-physical

cosmos.

Spirals

So when nothing else works, have faith.

Evolution travels in spirals and your path will spiral too.

It will spin you around, make no sense one moment and deliver profound illumination the

next.

Faith gives you something to cling to during the most challenging times.

And remember, if youve hit a low point on the Ascension stock market graph its

because youve broken through some kind of barrier.

So congratulate yourself and have faith.

You will rise again.

✅ Nemesis Resident Evil Makeup Tutorial - Inspired by Jordan Hanz (Spfx Makeup) - Witte Artistry - Duration: 8:29.

what's up guys I'm Kim Witte from Witte Artistry!

if you're new here please hit

that subscribe button below! but ERMAGURD

I am so excited to do this body

paint. it is inspired by Jordan Hanz's

time-lapse video of Nemesis (fictional character) from

Resident Evil. her channel is amazing you

have to check her out! let's get this

going!

after seeing Jordan Hanz's time-lapse

of Nemesis I was so inspired that I just

had to do this video. so I'm priming my

face and I'm going to be blocking out my

eyebrows periodically throughout this

video. to block out my eyebrows I

basically use Elmer's glue and brush up

my eyebrows upward and outward, wait 10

minutes for it to dry, put a layer of

concealer on, wait for to dry, and then

powder it, and then repeat that

throughout the entire process. in between

the excruciating eyebrow process, I was

going in with an eyebrow pencil and

drawing the entire outline of Nemesis's

really cool coat that's covered in

buckles and stuff and then drawing in

the outlines of all of his creepy skin

holes. aren't I beautiful ? Yes so

fabulous! this is a character that I

strongly recommend you use a lot of

reference photos because his skin tearing

and folding is really complicated so to

sort of map out whatever will help you

do the body paint. I decided to skip some

of it for the pencils because I want to

keep you here staring at the pencil

drawing that long .his face is made of

all sorts of creepy wrinkles so I just

drew those in and now I'm mixing red and

brown body paint together and filling

the creepy torn crevice from my

forehead to my eyeballs and down the

side of my cheek! I'm using the same

color to fill in all of Nemesis skin

holes where some muscle and tissue is

revealed below.

Following a reference photo it took me a

while to match this color but I mixed

together these colors to create his

weird intestinal color that wraps

throughout his shoulders and underneath

his skin. he sort of uses it like a

weapon that goes down his arm and

through his hands. just filling your

little staples with some metallic silver

paint. Rainbow!! to create the illusion of

skin wrinkles I'm going in with some

medium brown and a detail brush and I'm

just kind of rubbing it gently around

where the staples would be tugging at

the skin. because the staples are so taut

there's sort of some flesh revealed

beneath it I'm going around the edges of

them with red and then continuing the

wrinkles. if you need help making

wrinkles I suggest getting some like

nylons or a blanket or something or

something that's taut and just kind of

pinch it. to ensure that the paint

doesn't crack or rub off I use some mac

fix+

and danced around while it dried... cause why not?

With a little bit darker of a

brown eyeshadow I'm going in all of the

under sides of the skin wrinkles

blending it out and feathering it to

create a gradual shadow... cast shadow

...thing. then I'm doing the same on my

neck and then filling in my eye with red.

since nemesis has the skin texture of a

dehydrated prune I'm adding some more

wrinkles on his chin and contouring my

forehead and just making all these

gross patterns. to mimic his orange-y

sickly color I'm going in everywhere

with orange eye shadow ,dark eye shadow

,and browns. The Wolfe FX Skinz palette was

my Savior this tutorial! I'll be using

all of the colors in it. but I'm using

the dark color to create the cast shadow

in my mouth, along the lines of the red

underneath the staples and within all of

the wrinkles. basically this dark color

goes anywhere that the skin would cast a

shadow: so all of the deep holes, all of

the crevices and I'm separating my neck

muscles. he has like these weird ribbed neck

muscles and then also my deltoid and

then adding a few details on my forehead.

to create some more subtle wrinkles and

a little bit of a shadow on each of the

lumps of the skin I am going in with

a medium skin tone from that palette and

just sort of darkening up the edges and

then going back and forth from the paint

to the brown eyeshadow to just really

create the wrinkly effect.

To every shadow there's a highlight I am using

the light skin tone color to go over the

edges of all of the wrinkles especially

up by the crevice and then I'm just kind

of highlighting all of the high points

on my cheekbones and each and every

wrinkle. the important thing to do when

you're using body paint to create skin

shadowing is that you put it on and

either smear it out with a wet brush or

when it's still damp you use a brush to

smooth it out. to make the ooey gooey

intestine cover I added a little bit

more white to the mixture and created

sort of a webbing membrane around the

tubes. Then I went in with a black eye

shadow and started shading the

undersides of all the gooey membranes.

that black line though is so satisfying

using just a black body paint I filled

in the entire jacket which is always

nice and skin staining but I went in

with a little bit of gray added to the

mixture and went over the seams and the

buckles and the belt thing and then

filled in the little buckle with silver

body paint. don't forget a little stud!

and then add your highlights. do the same

to your sleeves and then use the lighter

color to create a seam and some belts

and then make little tiny buckles!

highlight your little jacket fastener

*magic noises* clown white! take some white

cream paint and you are going to stipple

it all over the jacket especially in the

high points to give it a texture. time to

make those little staples pop! so use

some white to highlight the top points

of it. Oooh all the zooms! and then add a

little cast shadow. use some pink to

highlight the deltoid and use the same

color to highlight your weird neck

throat muscles. it took me a couple tries

to get the teeth right so make sure you

map them out first with a body pencil

and I am going to take a mixture of

white and yellow to make the nice tooth

decay color that he has because nemesis

does not brush his teeth!

I added a little bit of Brown to the mixture to

really decay the roots of his gross

pointy teeth.

Time to add some gum highlights! make that mouth nice and slimy!

Then go in with a dark red in

between the teeth and and the darkest

parts of the gums. don't forget to add

some texture .to really make the teeth

recede into the mouth you just go over

the edges with a grey eyeshadow and

feather it out. to make your mouth look

wet add some white highlights and then

do the same and your little muscley

creases. separate those teeth with the

black body paint.

Make that skin flap pop

with a white highlight and then blend

it out

*silly zombie singing*

to make a nemesis's eye,I am going over my

eyelid with white body paint and then

gray eyeshadow. in order to capture the

depth I'm going in with a medium gray

eyeshadow underneath everything that

would have a drop shadow. this is

especially true with the intestines and

the clothes. add some final touches with

some highlights on your intestinal

things and the edges of your skin flaps. mmm skin flaps.

Nemesis has a melted lippy

thing so I'm just adding the lip

creases and then going in with a white

body paint again to highlight and just

add a little bit of extra dimension to my

cheeks and all of the wrinkles. it really

brings the look together and just go

over the edge of the big crater hole

again. and blend it out and you're done!

Go eat some S.T.A.R.S! thanks so much for

watching this video if you liked it

please give it a thumbs up and drop me a

comment below! feel free to subscribe to

Artistry family! this makeup was the

hardest one I've ever done but I am so

proud of how it turned out thank you so

Donald Trump longs to lock up journalists — and sooner or later he's going to try it - Duration: 6:48.

Donald Trump longs to lock up journalists and sooner or later hes going to try

it

President Donald Trump had a news conference with the Colombian president on Thursday when

he said, among other things, There is no collusion between certainly myself and my

campaign, but I can always speak for myself and the Russians, zero. No, those are

not remarks translated into Spanish by Colombian reporters and then back again.

He actually said that.

To be fair, what Trump seems to have meant was that he and his campaign had not colluded

with the Russians.

And for the first time he appears to have made a disclaimer that he is only speaking

for himself.

Still, its so garbled that he could have meant almost anything, including that he literally

always speaks for himself and the Russians.

In the past few days, Trumps persecution complex has reached new heights.

At his commencement address to the Coast Guard Academy on Wednesday he lamented, Look

at the way Ive been treated lately, especially by the media.

No politician in history and I say this with great surety has been treated worse

or more unfairly. He has taken to calling the Russian investigations a witch hunt,

even going so far as to boast about it on Twitter on Thursday morning:

Naturally he thinks hes been targeted in the biggest and greatest witch hunt ever.

Apparently, he doesnt know that there were real witch hunts where people were killed

and political witch hunts that destroyed lives of many innocent people.

He is certainly unaware that there were leaders who suffered at the hands of political opponents

in ways that Trump in his golden palaces eating his two scoops of ice cream and extra sauce

every night can only imagine.

I have never seen a more whiny, petulant 70-year-old person in my life.

In that one respect Donald Trump may indeed hold the title of the greatest.

You will notice that Trumps main nemesis is still the press, which he has villainized

since he began his recent presidential campaign.

One suspects that this started out as a shtick, building on the thousands of hours of talk-radio

research that his lieutenant at the time, Sam Nunberg, provided him.

Beating up on the press is a staple of right-wing media and it receives a huge response from

conservative crowds.

But until he started the campaign Trump had always reveled in media attention and went

to great lengths to draw it.

In fact, he considered himself a member of the club.

But over the course of time the hatred has obviously become very real and very personal.

He loathes the press and considers it the source of all his problems.

Obviously, he isnt the first president to feel this way.

Richard Nixon famously kept an enemies list that included a large number of journalists.

But Trump is taking this in a dangerous direction.

A New York Times story about a James Comey memo rightly focused on the fact that the

president may have tried to obstruct justice by taking the FBI director aside privately

to ask him to let Trumps disgraced former national security adviser, Michael Flynn,

off the hook.

But Trump said something else at that meeting that has received less attention, according

to the Times:

Alone in the Oval Office, Mr. Trump began the discussion by condemning leaks to the

news media, saying that Mr. Comey should consider putting reporters in prison for publishing

classified information, according to one of Mr. Comeys associates.

First of all, the FBI doesnt put people in prison.

Trump seems confused about how the justice system works in general, so probably he didnt

know that.

One only hopes that he doesnt figure it out because when he does hell realize that

his most loyal collaborator, Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is the man to talk to about

that.

Its true that Sessions is busy at the moment ramping up the drug war and making life miserable

for people of color, but he could probably find time to put a few journalists in jail

if this would make the boss happy.

Trumps warm affinity for strongmen like Vladimir Putin of Russia, Rodrigo Duterte

of the Philippines, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi of Egypt and Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey is

not a good omen in this regard.

Every one of those rulers has jailed journalists or done worse to them for their being critical

of their countrys leadership.

Obviously, the U.S. has not yet gone nearly as far as they have, but there are some alarming

examples of press harassment since Trump took office.

Just last week a West Virginia journalist was arrested and jailed after following Health

and Human Services Secretary Tom Price down a hallway, asking him about health care policy.

On Thursday John Donnelly, a reporter for Roll Call, was manhandled and escorted out

of a building by security guards for asking questions of the Federal Communications Commissions

commissioners.

(Ironically, Donnelly is chairman of the National Press Clubs Press Freedom Team.)

This is not normal.

Neither is it normal for State Department officials to speak to reporters the way communications

adviser R.C. Hammond spoke to CNNs White House correspondent, Michelle Kosinski, who

reported this exchange on her Facebook page:

Monday night, as the story of the President giving classified information to the Russians

was in full evolution, I get a call from . . . RC Hammond, the State Departments communications

advisor, who had his facts wrong about what was reported and by whom.

But he kicked off the conversation with a venomously irate What the hell are you

doing??!! Followed up with full-on DEMANDS over and over, and over again to tell

him who my sources were.

He kept pushing, as if he thought this was ample reason.

Then, Why wont you tell me who they are? he bellowed repeatedly, again demanding

I at least tell him what jobs they held at State, or in what areas.

I had to explain to him that wasnt how it worked.

The situation worsened from there.

Granted, the Trump administration is obviously under tremendous stress.

But these three random incidents dont just reflect the Trump team.

They also reflect an attitude on the part of law enforcement and security officials

toward the media that is becoming increasingly hostile.

People in authority are taking their cues from the president and thats disturbing.

Subtitles/Closed Captions Mini Tutorial - Duration: 1:57.

Hey guys! Welcome back to the Isle. It's Grey.

I want to take a moment to discuss subtitle/closed captioning options.

I transcribe my videos for subtitles because the auto option seems to have trouble with

my mumbling or my syllable stubble-ing, stubble-ing, stumbling.

That's an example right there.

So.. *self-deprecating chuckle* ..um, also there are times when I make an error - it

is kind of funny typing out the truth.

Such as in a recent video when I said I usually spell the letter gray, with an A. When I meant

to say spell the color gray with an A. Differ-*gibberish* Differentiate myself.

So um, on topic: When using the key O. I am the art department, I drew that, and, yes

I'm using a brow spoolie as a pointer.

Super high-tech video here.

Use the O key, and it changes the brightness of the letters that the actual text is.

If you use the W key.

Back to the artsy card here.

Um, I'm clicking the W. The background that the text rests on, is what changes.

I tested this in Internet Explorer, and, I'm currently using Chrome.

So, um, I hope that it's useful or helpful to someone else other than myself.

I tried finding um other resources for it, and I can't find any other key-codes that

might help like,

It'd be kind of cute to get the letters to be different colors.

So if you know any key-commands, please share in the comments below.

Also, take a moment to like and subscribe.

Until next time, bye for now.
