10 Things to do in Cardiff, Wales Travel Guide - Duration: 12:38.Well hello hello from Cardiff, Wales.
New destination for us.
New destination.
It is our very first time to Wales and we're so excited to be here.
We've wanted to come to Wales for a really long time and yeah we're just going to exploring
Cardiff (Caerdydd) and we're going to show you guys what you can do here in this little
mini travel guide.
Let's get to it.
So today is our first day of sightseeing in Cardiff so I'm feeling pretty excited.
Right now we're visiting Cardiff Castle (Castell Caerdydd) which is right in the city centre.
We just got our tickets.
What was it?
It was 25 Pounds for the two of us.
So 12.50 each.
Yeah, this place looks pretty cool.
Like you have lots of different buildings and different styles.
You have different layers of history so it is going to be fun to explore.
We started our visit of Cardiff Castle (Castell Caerdydd) with a self-guided tour of the Castle
Apartments.
This is the newest-looking part of the castle as it was renovated in the early 19th century
in the Gothic revival style.
As part of the tour we got to see the Banqueting Hall, the Library, and a few different rooms,
but the place that really caught our attention was the Arab room designed in a Moorish style
which is quite different from the rest of the rooms.
From there, we continued on to the Norman Keep, which dates to the 11th century.
The 12-sided structure sits atop a hill and is surrounded by a moat, and if you climb
to the very top you get some nice 360 degree views of the city.
And lastly, we visited the roman walls, and although these too have been renovated, the
foundations date back to 50 AD - that's the first century!
So it is not quite lunchtime yet but we're feeling a little bit hungry and we spotted
the Castle Arcade so we're just going to walk in and hopefully we can find a restaurant
that is open.
Seeing as Cardiff (Caerdydd) is nicknamed the 'City of Arcades' another must-do
was to actually visit one of the arcades.
We noticed the aptly named Castle Arcade directly across Cardiff Castle, so that was our next
stop.
To the balcony we go.
Now we're going to show you the beauty of the Castle Arcade.
Our first order of business inside the arcade was food and it wasn't long before Barkers
Tea Rooms lured us in with their decor.
The tea room has a vintage feel with mismatched furniture, and it looked super cozy!
And hello there.
Hello!
Are you ready for brunch?
Yeah, and I'm very relaxed in this couch too.
I know.
Isn't this place so cool.
Going in for the avocado on toast.
Oh my gosh!
That looks so good.
Oh, that is wonderful.
Worth the wait.
Anytime when you team up cream cheese with salmon.
Winning combo big time.
Another place we'd suggest visiting in the Castle Arcade is a shop called Fabulous Welshcakes.
They had the most delicious Welsh Cakes and they change up the flavours every day.
We took some back to our AirBnB and had them with tea.
Alright, where are we heading next?
Well, if you're in the downtown area and then you follow the River Taff (Afon Taf) there
is a nice green escape.
Oh yeah!
And it is just wonderful.
It is this massive area and you see people out enjoying the space.
There is dogs running around.
Puppies.
There is puppies.
There is people out enjoying ice cream.
It is really relaxed, really chill.
And yeah, this is just an awesome place to come and enjoy an afternoon after you've been
doing some sightseeing.
Alright guys, so it is a Saturday here in Cardiff and we're staying in the neighborhood
of Pontcanna and our AirBNB host just told us there is a market that happens in the neighborhood.
So we're going to head over and apparently there should be some snacks, you know some
little bites.
So we're going to have some lunch because it is already past noon.
I'm feeling hungry.
Still have a bit of a lingering cold so I'm having tea.
This one is Mandarin and Ginger.
It smells so good.
And look at the color.
We've both been sick.
It is kind of like orange-y.
That is like the perfect healthy tea for us.
How is it?
That is nice and you know what?
I'm kind of eyeing Sam's food.
That has just arrived.
Sam ordered a welsh toast with leek, mustard, butter and cheddar cheese.
OMG.
That looks really nice.
In he goes.
Alright.
This is the masterpiece.
So this is a big piece of sourdough bread toast.
It has got cheese, it has got leek and butter.
And mustard.
Oh right and mustard too.
Yeah.
Forgot about that.
It is good I've already had a bite of it.
Mmmm.
What do you think?
It is so good.
The leeks actually make it a little bit juicy.
And the sourdough that is one of my favorite kinds of bread to have so.
Yeah.
It is really tasty.
And you know what?
We opted for a small little snack because we want cake afterwards.
That is right.
Carrot cake.
Sam you found your favorite cake.
Yes.
We found carrot cake and it looks amazing.
Check it out.
Only two pounds and look at how thick the icing is.
And look at that?
Chunks of walnut.
Walnuts.
My favorite.
How is that?
Oooh.
A sweet love affair?
That is some of the best carrot cake icing I've ever had.
I could just everything about it is good but I could wish I could have had the spoon to
lick the icing from the bowl.
That is how good it is.
Alright, that was a fun visit to the market.
Yeah, it was.
It was actually quite a bit smaller than I thought but that actually made me enjoy it
a little bit more.
It had kind of a neighborhood vibe.
Definitely not a tourist attraction.
It just kind of felt nice to experience the city a bit like a local.
Well, Sam is watching cricket I'm trying to befriend all of the dogs that come my way.
Two so far but I think.
Where are you going?
So apparently there are some ruins not too far from the AirBNB where we are currently
staying.
So right now we're on our way to visit the Old Bishop's Palace.
So we've been walking through Llandaff fields, Llandaff meadows I think we're almost there.
Apparently, there is also a Cathedral nearby and I think I can see that off in the distance.
So we are currently visiting the Old Bishop's Palace here in Cardiff and it is so cool because
I was not expecting to find ruins in a residential neighborhood.
And yeah, it is pretty impressive.
Well, what do you think Mister Camera Man?
Who just whacked his head on a branch.
Haha, the things I do to get the shots.
I don't always look at where I'm going.
Isn't this such a cool neighborhood.
It is so cool.
And this is probably somewhere we may not have got to had we not been staying in the
AirBNB.
I know.
A little bit away from the centre.
Yeah, I'm really glad we stayed away from the downtown area.
Seriously.
Because we've enjoyed our neighborhood so much.
It has opened up a whole new kind of like exploration of the city.
Yeah, I would say.
The following day, we finally made it down to Cardiff Bay (Bae Caerdydd), to explore
a bit of the waterfront.
We just went for a random stroll, but you have plenty to do here with Wales Millennium
Centre, the Pierhead Building, all the bars and restaurants along the Mermaid Quay, the
Norwegian Church, The Doctor Who Experience, Cardiff Bay Wetlands Reserve and more.
Okay Sam where have you brought us?
So we are at Principality Stadium (Stadiwm Principality).
Mmmhmm.
And this stadium is all about Rugby.
Rugby is like the number one sport here in Wales.
But sadly there are no matches while we're in town.
Urgghh.
We're just going to miss one.
Yeah, so it sucks.
But anyways I went to the WRU store which is the Wales Rugby Union and picked up this
cool hat.
It was only like 2.95 Quid.
Yeah, so on sale.
Bargain.
And I guess if you're watch a game here, if you're not watching the National Team play,
you would be watching the Cardiff Blues play which is the local team.
And yeah, I would love to go to a Rugby match like that is something I really wanted to
do but unfortunately we can't.
But if you are in town definitely check the schedule and see if you can find tickets.
Another thing you can do in the city is hit up Cardiff Central Market (Marchnad Ganolog
Caerdydd), which is set in a Victorian building.
Here you can pick up things like fresh produce, baked goods, fast food, and even some collectable
items.
And we couldn't leave Cardiff without sampling some Welsh food, so we also hit up a pub for
some traditional fare.
For our first starter, we ordered a rarebit - it sounds like rabbit, but it's really
a toasted piece of bread with a cheese sauce and melted cheese.
The second starter was cawl, which is a traditional Welsh stew, which can include different meats
and seasonal vegetables, but most commonly lamb and leeks.
Alright, so I'm going to get one with a piece of meat and a big 'ole carrot.
Mmmm.
What do ya think?
Oh man.
I really like it.
Yeah?
Yeah.
Like you said it is just the perfect kind of soup or stew for like a cold, overcast,
damp rainy day.
We're in this nice pub and we're just eating warm food.
This is so cozy so good.
Then for our main we shared a bowl of Welsh faggots, which is a meatball dish served mashed
potatoes, mushy peas and onion gravy.
We only later found out that the meat calls for offals, specifically heart and liver,
so we don't what we were having but we clearly enjoyed it since we finished every last bite.
And that's it for our visit to Cardiff, Wales.
Our trip was short and sweet but we hope this video gave you a few ideas of things to do
in Cardiff on your own visit.
Now you know the drill, if you have any other suggestions of cool things to do in and around
Cardiff (Caerdydd), feel free to share those with fellow travellers in the comments below.
Wishing you happy travels and until next time!

「NMEP」Dreaming Alone (60 FPS Re-Upload) - Duration: 2:37.I'm feeling tired from all the time I spent on you
But I know I'm strong from all the trouble I've been through
The story starts where the story falls apart with you
Don't lie, bright eyes
Is it me that you see when you fall asleep?
Cause I know it's you I dream about every night
Giving me a feeling like
Love in the summer
Way I've never felt with another
Don't lie, bright eyes
Is it me that you see?
Tell me I'm not dreaming alone
The story starts lying in the dark broken and bruised
I count the scars left in my heart from losing you
And I was wrong but let's be honest you were too
I miss the part where I was falling hard for you
So don't lie, bright eyes
Is it me that you see when you fall asleep?
Cause I know it's you I dream about every night
Giving me this feeling like
Love in the summer
Way I've never felt with another
Don't lie, bright eyes
Is it me that you see?
Tell me I'm not dreaming alone
I can't take back the things I said
And I won't say that I regret
Any day that I was yours
Don't lie, bright eyes
I know it's me that you see when you fall asleep
And you
in the summer
Way I've never felt with any other
Don't lie, bright eyes
It'll always be you and me, so why are we dreaming alone?
Woah oh, woah oh, woah oh
It'll always be you and me, so why are we dreaming alone?

BREAKING: Laura Ingraham Lands New Job | Top Stories Today - Duration: 1:44.Pro-Trump radio host and best-selling author Laura Ingraham is set to have her own Fox
News TV show starting this fall.
Ingraham will be taking over the 10 PM time slot — however, the exact launch date has
not yet been announced.
GP reports:
"The Five" will be moved to the 5 PM time slot and Hannity's show will be moved to
9 PM.
The reshuffling came after Eric Bolling's recent exit from Fox and subsequent cancellation
of his show "Fox News Specialists" after allegations of sexual harassment.
Fox will be temporarily replacing the "Specialists" with news programming.
Matt Drudge of the Drudge Report even hinted at Laura Ingraham's new prime time show
back in August when he tweeted, "FALL PREVIEW: Laura Ingraham's prime time to shine!
After years in the trenches, much deserved"
Ingraham is a Trump supporter and recently torched Charles Krauthammer after he criticized
Trump for condemning alt-left violence.
After Ingraham read Trump's condemnation of the racists at the Charlottesville rally,
she said to Krauthammer, "I guess what Charles just said is Donald Trump doesn't mean that.
Now if you're gonna say that Donald Trump's a racist or he's stupid or he's just doing
a hostage tape, I guess you could tell all our FOX viewers that.
And I resent that you just said it was a cop out…"
Laura Ingraham can definitely hold her own; she has a huge conservative base and will
be welcomed with open arms.
what do you think about this?

I bought my first scanner before I bought a digital camera and
this was in the late 90s so probably around 98-99 somewhere in there and then
I've got my first digital camera I guess probably around 2003 ish I want to say
since then all of my stuff lives on these loose drives and I literally have
years and years and years of these things they're probably around 30 or 40
in this studio in the closet and my images over that period of time and
video for that matter are scattered around on all these so what I'm trying
to do is I want one place to consolidate all my stuff here is the current
situation so these four drives on the bottom these are 8 terabytes apiece and
they are in what is referred to as a raid configuration which basically means
that the data gets moved around so if you lose a hard drive you won't lose
things in theory and this drive at the top is the newest one and this one is a
six terabyte drive these all house video and so this goes back to 2015 2016 this
is the Artist Series and this is all the video that I've done in 2017 and then
this because photos are going to be much smaller than video will round it all out
and this completes the system I spent the better part of last week going
through all of these loose drives that are sitting around I've got a box down
here just full of SATA drives and taking all that data and putting it into
Lightroom now here's the deal I want to be able to access any photo that I've
ever taken that is the goal how many of you actually do that I'm really curious
to know how many photographers actually do that I think people are pretty good
about it with client work that's usually the easiest to find because it's really
important but personal work more artsy kinds of things that you do
and the problem that I have is that in this last year when I want to find
something I'm starting to have trouble figuring out where that exists and
there's certain images that I just haven't seen in a long time because
they're stuck on a drive on a shelf somewhere so this is where I want to
hear from you guys how many of you have actually done this I will share this
with you I have about probably 80 to 90% of my stuff on this drive ready to be
catalogued all that it is very scary what you find going through old pictures
there's people that you don't see anymore there's some weird stuff there's
some really cool photos and there's a lot of really bad ones and then there's
stuff it's like why did I ever do this why did I even keep this anyway I want
to hear from you guys how many of you actually have all of your data in one
place so you can literally find any photograph you've ever made
that's the challenge
you guys don't see this room as much in videos because mainly it's just a big
storage place this is all mail that I haven't gotten to yet that you guys have
sent me and I'm really sorry for that so we are going to start rectifying this
situation a little bit at least right now
okay so first up we have this
awesome book and two prints there's a portrait on one side here and on the
other side is this really cool seascape these are really nicely done this is
from Mark Orchard and Mark sent me a note in here and I want to share a
little bit of this with you cuz I thought was very cool he said it's two
favorite videos that I have done are nobody cares about your photography and
the artist series video on David Brookover and anyway he says at the end here he
said David Brookover said something very important in that video he extolled the
virtue of taking photographs for others and not yourself I'd always thought that
your art should be personal for sure the style should be yours but the motivation
to excel will come from the needing to impress others he likened it to cooking
for yourself or cooking for friends and family a perfect analogy great stuff
keep on doing what you're doing Mark Mark that is a cool quote and David
really said that best and it's it's kind of against the grain of what the masses
in photography generally go but I think that David I mean obviously
I think the world of David he's a very good friend and I was honored to be able
to do that Artist Series for him Mark the book and the print these are beautiful
okay next up is a really cool print and also this magazine that came
from Neil Bates who lives in Calgary and Neil writes hi Ted thank you for all
your hard work and inspiration to follow your creative heart here in Calgary
there's a publication called Seities I think is how you say this it's kind of a cool
palindrome anyway publication called Seities dedicated to analog photography and
alternative process the cover photographer Greg Weber has also
been teaching darkroom classes SAIT and Calgary for several decades he always
arrives with a smile and a sense of curiosity encouragement I have enclosed
one of my prints from a Yukon trip last year done on silver gelatin and sepia
toner this is - as I can't even hold it right - this is really cool Neil thank you
this is awesome next up is a zine called Dirty Film Vol 1
this comes to us from Nate Smith who lives in the UK who sent a very nice
note he ran across my videos when he was watching some stuff on John Free John is
a very good friend of mine and we would like to collaborate again this year if I
can make it to LA so stay tuned we'll see but anyway he writes in here that
this he's very proud to share this with me it's his first artistic project that
he started and seen through to completion this is my zine dirty film
named as such because I shoot a lot of film and I develop at home so everything
gets quite dusty (tell me about it) the first work is a short exploration of
my room and my feelings towards it I use some words to help guide the viewer a
little bit but it's up to you to interpret it as you wish that is Dirty
Film Volume One next up is this little accordion piece which I want to explain
to you cuz this is really cool this comes from Harold Selkie who lives in
Germany first of all this handwriting is awesome I just wanted to note that but
anyway he said - big fan of the show particularly interested in photo
assignments I have included a little print product here we call it a Leporello
I believe is how you say it in German after a figure from Mozart's Don Giovanni I
don't know what you would call it it's obviously not brand new but when you
announce personal freedom as the current topic of Photo Assignments this one seemed
to fit in it goes on to say the leporello is a short sort of two-dimensional
sequence showing photos from a walk along the death strip where until 1989
Berlin and Germany had been divided these colors are from the same locations
just 26 later to me this double sequences representation of freedom
having been to the same places before the photo on the back is from 1987 I was
lucky enough to live in the West while my uncle's family as well as my
grandparents lived in the East all the best wishes this is really cool not only
does he do personal freedom but there's a little bit of influence from photo
sequences here as well Herold thank you this is amazing next up is this little
zine called lag time 14 hours in Hong Kong this comes from Renato just a note
here another a-plus on the handwriting here Renato writes dear Ted loved the
show I felt so honored when one of my photos was featured on Photo Assignments it
meant a lot it is great to see the YouTube generation embrace your
teachings I feel old saying that because I'm only 33 but I've been shooting since
the age of 9 you were definitely an influence on me at the very least big
influence on me closed is a copy of the first issue of my zine I hope you like
it and look forward to the next one he also inscribed this to the best YouTube
professor the world's ever have Renado this is awesome ok next up these
are from somebody that I've got to call out here this is a book called Memories
From Another World from Tim Heubeck back and he also sent me some stickers I know
Tim and it's very cute that in here he introduces himself to me and Tim has a
youtube channel he's really good if you're into film and analog processes
and stuff go check Tim out I'll link him up in the show description we have film
is not dead with the skeleton holding up the Polaroid waste of film and a black
version of that oh and this one's really cool to film is not dead waste of film
and it's got this really neat graphic on it too so Tim thank you Tim this book is
outstanding you guys go check him out he really is awesome
this is really cool this was sent to me by an English photographer by the name
of Tony Butcher this came in a box and here is the actual book here and it is
hand bound which is really nice - don't know if you can see the binding on the side there
and this what he smells good it's like ink and paper
I don't know I'm weird like that this is really beautiful and Tony wrote me a
pretty lengthy letter here but very funny says let me introduce myself my
name is Tony Butcher I'm a painter decorator and when I have some spare
cash I am also a photographer born in London's East End my mum used to sell
rabbits on the Bethel Green Road my uncle was the guy who trained Arnold
Schwarzenegger to become Mr. Universe but money was never one of our great
attributes anyway this is a really cool letter and he goes on to talk about how
he discovered the show and all he's actually a pretty accomplished
photographer he's got work in several collections including Victoria and
Albert Museum in London which by the way is one of my favourite museums in the
world every time I'm in London I go there like
several times - one it's massive and you won't ever see it all in one trip but
anyway this is really cool and you know I think like all of us he kind of talks
about the struggle of galleries and museums and everything else and Tony
this is outstanding thank you very much for sharing this you guys check this out
next up is a letter in this really cool little photo that come to us from Ed Worthington
in Cardiff Wales and Ed doesn't seem to think that I'm gonna get to my
mail here anyway he says anyways people probably send you a lot of mail you're
likely incredibly busy and you may never see this but I've included a print of my
120 shot - sorry handwriting I look at a beach not too far from my house it's
on Kodak Ektar with a Bronica s2a a camera that weighs a ton I hope you
like it kind regards Ed - Ed this is awesome Ed has an Instagram called the
SixMillionPman go check him out okay I was grinning when I was opening this
because whenever you see this little stamp of the sheep that means it's from
Tom Barr check this out
[sheep noises]
love it

amazing work on the artist series it has been outstanding
Graciela Iturbide and Keith Carter episodes I found especially moving thank
you for mentioning that he says he hopes there will be a season three I do too
the second reason is to show you my latest photographic project called the
Ootlier zone Ootlier's pronounced as a Scott would pronounce outlier but with a
oot - Ootlier, Ootlier is that right for somebody with Scottish roots I'm really
bad at pronouncing all this stuff you were kind enough to feature Shetland OO
the show so I'd love to know what you think of this many many thanks Tom
PS I also love doing photo assignments great work everyone so first of all Tom
this is amazing
this is a zine it comes to us from John Esco who writes me a
note with again excellent handwriting he says that he is a Romanian guy living in
the UK for about four years now coming to England was a big change for me
including my passion for photography here I discovered many many amazing
places people the beauty of street photography the excitement and the
challenge with it John this is excellent this is really cool this is a box that
comes from Killian Kunz and Killian writes dear Ted two years have passed
you probably don't remember the first bigger picture cards I'd sent to you you
guys you always say this that I don't remember things Killian was one of the
first people I ever featured when I got my PO box and started doing mail and he
sent me this series of little flash cards that you could use to improve your
skills as a photographer I featured him on the show they were really cool I know
he's done several editions of these this is the latest and I said I had to create
something new I wanted to develop this idea of photography cards because of
street photography has always interested me
I met Swiss photographer Thomas loosen'd Olympus visionary and created a new
edition of the bigger picture cards the street photography edition I love it and
I would like to send you Ted the first brand-new copies this is awesome Killian
I will put a link to these in the show description Killian does awesome work go
check him out photographs do not Bend however these are curled and they came
in the tube this is from Johann Kruger who lives in South Africa and this is a
series of prints of double-exposure black and white pieces that have quotes
with them and Johan writes dear Mr. Forbes I don't think I spend more time
on any other show on TV or YouTube thank you for hours of inspiration and
education this is immensely satisfying to develop the skills to express
spiritual journey creativity with the camera Johan Johan these are awesome
thank you so much you guys I want to thank everybody who sent something in
today we made a small dent in this and I'm going to get moving on this some
more so we can get caught up and as you guys can see every time I do one of
these the work is just really impressive and I'm really honored that you guys
send me such nice things and you know it's interesting I see other people who
do stuff like this where they do a mail time thing and usually it's just stuff
or it's food or something like that and you guys send me really nice things
we've just created kind of a secondary issue here or really two of them first
of all I got to figure out what I'm gonna do with this stuff because I want
to save it and I want to have somewhere nice to put it so I'm going to kind of
figure out that as a challenge so what I'm gonna do to keep all the stuff that
you guys send in and the second thing is now I got to clean up this mess so
anyway if you guys enjoyed this video please remember to like it share it with
your friends subscribe to the art of photography for more more videos I will
see you guys in the next one until then later
I will have you know that we
recycle here at the art of photography we'll see you guys in the next video

MRP Ramp Control Cartridge Install and Review - Should you upgrade your fork? - Duration: 5:30.Taking the time to tune your suspension is one of the best ways to get the most out of
your bike.
You're leaving performance on the table if you decide to avoid touching all those
brightly colored knobs.
Most modern air forks allow you to adjust almost every aspect of them on the trail.
For most changes, the only things you need are an air pump and an allen wrench.
Today we're talking about the one thing on the fork that's the hardest to change
on the trail, but is also what has the biggest impact on how the fork feels; progressiveness.
Normally, you'd adjust the forks progressiveness using tokens.
Adding or removing a token can dramatically change how your fork feels.
Too many tokens will rattle your teeth out while having none will make the fork so soft
you'll likely bottom out on every drop.
Finding the sweet spot can take a lot of trial and error and be a total pain on the trail.
MRP decided to find a better way.
They came up with the Ramp Control Cartridge.
The cartridge basically replaces your forks tokens with a chamber that has a small port
at the bottom.
Adjusting the dial on the Ramp control will limit how quickly air can enter the chamber.
The slower air can enter the chamber, the more progressive the fork will be.
MRP used this system because it doesn't require you to change air pressure everytime
you make an adjustment.
For around $130, it's not cheap, but it promises to give you precise control over
your forks progressiveness at the flick of a wrist.
Installing the Ramp Control comes with varying degrees of difficulty.
While the kit for Fox 36 requires partially disassembling the fork, the install for the
Fox 34 and all RockShox forks is dead simple.
You start by removing all the air from your fork.
This can be done with a shock pump, or just by pressing down on the valve with an allen key.
Make sure to cycle the fork a few times and then vent the air again.
Do this three times to make sure all the air is out of the fork.
Once all the air is out, use a socket wrench to undo the top of the air chamber.
Make sure to push down while you do this, or you'll round the crap out of the air
cap.
Once you have the air cap off, you can prep the Ramp Control for install.
Take off the valve cover to expose the bolt holding on the control dial.
Use a small socket wrench to remove the bolt.
Now you can slide off the control dial and set it aside.
The ramp cartridge comes with special grease for the O-ring.
A little goes a long way, and try your best to keep it from getting on the threads.
Clean up any extra grease, and you're ready to install.
You'll need to use a cassette tool for the cartridge, one that doesn't have a spindle
sticking out.
Thread the cartridge in by hand until it's tight, then use a torque wrench to finish
tightening it.
Put the control dial back on, screw on the retaining bolt and re-pressurize the fork.
So, it's easy to install, but how does it perform on the trails?
The MRP Ramp Control doesn't so much add performance to your fork, it lets you better
tune what's already there.
Where adding or removing tokens would cause big changes that you fined tuned with air
pressure, the Ramp Control gives you more granular tuning.
With 16 clicks of adjustment, I set mine to 8 and then dialed in the air pressure.
A few clicks to the right gave the support I needed in flow trails to keep the fork from
diving, without sacrificing small bump compliance.
When I got to a stretch of chundery downhill, I could dial in a nice plush profile to soak
all the gnar without bottoming out.
That's really what this offers, the ability to let your fork do its job in any situation.
Without having to carry a small toolbox in your backpack.
If you're already happy with how your fork performs, or have one that's at the end
of its life, then that $130 is best spent elsewhere.
For the rest of the riders out there that either love to tinker, or are looking to get
the absolute most from their bike, this is definitely an upgrade worth looking into.
With how dialed my bike is now, I feel unstoppable!
*LOUD POP*
*Sound of air leaking*
*Air hissing from tire*
…Awww ffff-

Wishing you happy travels and until next time!

yoroshiku onegaishimasu - Duration: 3:57.Hello, pretty peoples. KawaJapa no Kyua Dorii desu.
I am Cure Dolly from KawaJapa. In this mini-lesson we are going to talk about the
expression "yoroshiku onegaishimasu". EvenEvenOdd-san notices that I use this
expression at the end of every lesson and asks, "According to the Genki textbook,
this phrase means 'Nice to meet you' and is used when a person introduces
themselves to someone for the first time. However, you use it to mean something
else. What do you mean by it?" Now, this is
something I wish the textbooks would not do. For a phrase book, it's okay—you just
want to know what sounds to mimic in order to greet someone when you meet
them for the first time, but for a textbook it is very confusing, because
"yoroshiku onegaishimasu" does not mean "Pleased to meet you" or anything like that.
It's used at the kind of time when someone in English might say "Pleased to
meet you" and it's used at other times too. But it does not mean "Pleased to meet you".
It means something like "Please be good to me"
or "I beg your favor". "I beg your favor" is old-fashioned English but is probably
closer to the real meaning of "yoroshiku onegaishimasu". So we say this on various
occasions as well as when we first meet someone. For example, at the new year we
say, "kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegaishimasu": "This year again please be good to me, please give
me your favor". it does not come across as demanding because in saying "yoroshiku onegaishimasu"
you're placing the other person on a higher level than yourself.
It is humble language and also it is assuming the
other person is a superior person who CAN give you favor. That is why the
aite, the person you are talking to, may well say "kochira koso yoroshiku onegaishimasu",
which means "It is I who should be asking YOUR favor", or more literally, "This side
especially asks favor". The grammar is a little difficult at beginner level, so I'm
not going to explain it here, because if you are a beginner you really
don't need to learn it. But I will say that it is a special form of grammar
called "kenjougo", which means grammar that humbles the
speaker. So you are lowering yourself in order to raise a person to whom you're
talking. We are doing an article to accompany this video at KawaJapa and
I will put that in the comments below, so if you want to know the exact meaning of
this grammar, if you're a little more advanced or if you're just curious,
please take a look at that article. If you would like to learn more about how
Japanese really works as opposed to what the textbooks tell you about it, you may
want to read my book "Unlocking Japanese", which is available at Amazon in Kindle
and paperback editions. Thank you for attending this mini-lesson. Kore kara mo
yoroshiku onegaishimasu". Class dismissed.

AUGUST FAVORITES PRODUCTS FOR OILY SKIN! - Duration: 6:46.Hi everyone! How are you?
Today I'm going to show you guys my favorites products that I've been using these days
I know you guys like this type of video
I hope make more videos about it
And talk about skin care, hair care
Because a lof of people ask me to do it
And I asked you guys if it's a good idea to have a playlist about beauty
And people liked it! So today I'm going to talk about my favorite products in August
I'm going to start talking about my favorite one. Actually, I think it's my favorite product of the year!
I'm really happy I brought this!
I got this primer by Revlon
I searched a lot trying to find a good primer, so I read and watched many reviews to see what people recommend to oily skin
As you guys know, my skin is really oily
So I need to balance this
Sometimes, after I finish applying make up my face is very brightly
So a primer would help me on this. Besides that, it helps to camouflage the pores
Since I really needed something to camouflage them
So I did a lot of researches I figured this one would be the best for my skin
And this primer is REALLY good
I noticed a huge difference. My makeup stays all day
Pores seem closed, makeup looks prettier now
I like its consistence. It looks like a white cream but when you apply it turns translucent. And it's very thin
So really recommend it. I bought at Bed Bath & Beyond for $11
As you guys already know, I love this store because there are many cosmetics there
So it was a good bargain because my makeup looks much better now
The next product is this moisturizer by Neutrogena
It's a really good moisturizer. My mom gave me this so I don't know how much it was
But I think you can find it easily
I love it because it's with sunscreen SPF 30
So this is really good
I did find yet a good sunscreen for my oily skin
But this moisturizer works for me because it moisturizes and protects my skin
So I apply this one in the morning
And I'll show you which moisturizer I'm using at night
I received some products from Influenster
I love the box I got because these products are really good
Ok, so at night I apply this moisturizer
That I got with these other two products
This is an amazing kit
This moisturizer costs around $60 but it's worth it because it's pretty good
The brand is Kate Somerville
And the kit is ExfoliKate
And it makes your skin healthy and beautiful
And I noticed a big difference after using these products. My skin got really smooth and soft
And since it's an exfoliate, it reduces the pores. So my skin looks healthier indeed
So there is a cleanser to use everyday
So I wash my face every day with this
Oh, they smell so good, like fruits... it's amazing
Unfortunately, you guys can't smell through the video lol
Again, there is the cleanser
The exfoliante
This smells so good
And look at this color...
And at the first time I applied, my skin burned a little bit because it is a intensive exfoliant treatment
You can leave on your skin up to 2 minutes. But if you have sensitive skin, leave on for less than a minute
It's a good exfoliator. It really cleans you skin
So you use the cleanser first, then you use the exfoliant twice a week
And finally, the moisturizer. I love this emoticon right here, it's cute
You can use during the day and night. But since I have this one with sunscreen, I only use this at night
And the last product is this translucent powder by e.l.f.
I usually apply any pressed power. But now I'm love with this powder
I like the matte finishing
So I apply this one after foundation and concealer with a fluffy brush
It's white but when you apply don't look like this
If you apply a lot, you can take off the excess with a brush and then it's going to set your make up
I really recommend this powder
So I hope you guys liked this video
Don't forget to leave a comment down below! I want to know your recommendations, too!
So you can help people to decide what to buy!
Give this video thumbs up and subscribe! Thank you for watching this video. See you guys next time!

…Awww ffff-

5 cose che mi mancano dell'Italia - Duration: 7:17.Hello!
Today I want to share with you five things
about Italy that I miss since moving abroad.
I've been living abroad for five years now
first in Kyoto, Japan, for two years and now in London.
If you ask an Italian abroad:
"What do you miss about Italy?"
almost everyone will answer, more or less in this order
Bidet, food,
weather and of course family and friends.
I miss all of these things a lot, too,
but today I want to share five more
that I miss and I can't easily find here in London.
Ready?
Number one: cordiality.
I would describe cordiality as a positive attitude
open towards others.
Italians are very curious,
They're curious about the lives of others
sometimes even nosy, to be honest
but they're very different from the Brits.
British people sometimes are terrified by silence
so they always start
small talks about the weather.
In Italy people speak quite gladly
about personal matters
so it often happens
before a job interview or a university exam
to chat with people waiting with you
and even if you probably won't meet ever again
at least for the hour or so when you chatted
you shared something a bit personal.
But this is my favourite example of cordiality:
it happens in a doctor's waiting hall.
Usually even if there is no one you know there
when you arrive you say "Good morning" to the others waiting
and when you leave you say "Goodbye"
It's a small thing, nothing important
but it makes me smile, it makes me feel good
and I miss is since I'm abroad because here in London
no one does so.
Number two is the aperitivo
it can be translated in English as "happy hour"
but it's not exactly the same thing.
It's not too important
to have two beers for the price of one
what matters is socialising, meeting friends.
Usually with aperitivo in Italy
you get some free food when you buy a cocktail
so maybe pasta, pizza
potato chips, cake
because in Italy to avoid getting smashed drunk
when we drink we usually
eat something before drinking
so in Italy we don't drink on an empty stomach.
And I really miss
meeting my friends in front of a spritz
and chat about our days
It's something I don't do here
and I miss it.
Number three: Sunday's lunch.
When I was a child
Sundays in Italy were a very special day
because mum and dad wouldn't work
they would dress my up in my Sunday's best
we would go to the church and then to have lunch at grandma's
where we would meet uncles, aunties and cousins as well.
After lunch, if the weather was good
we would go for a walk in the park
because shops and shopping malls
were closed, everything was closed.
And this was one positive thing we kept
from our Catholic tradition
today unfortunately it's not like that anymore
Today unfortunately shops and malls are open on Sundays
We don't go to the church anymore
I haven't gone for years now
but our family still meets up
on Sundays to have lunch all together
and this is one of the good sides
of the very Italian obsession for family.
Number four: the square
or more precisely, meeting at the square.
In Italy the square is not only the place
where two or more streets meet,
but it's the place where people meet
to get a coffee with a friend,
or to celebrate.
For example in 2006, when Italy won the football World Cup
people flocked to the square to celebrate.
or to protest
In Italy "go down to the square" means to take the streets
to protest, to demonstrate against something.
I also miss the spontaneity
of sending a text to a friend saying
"Let's meet at the square in a couple of hours"
because here in London it's hard to do
here in London when you want to meet a friend
you have to schedule it weeks in advance
because the city is so big
it takes one hour to get from a point to another
and everyone is always busy.
In Italy life isn't that frantic
and I miss taking it easy
I miss the "sweet doing nothing"
I miss seeing people at the bar with an espresso
just reading the newspaper.
Things seem easier, more spontaneous, more chilled.
Numbe five: feeling at home
I think this happens to anyone living abroad
It doesn't matter how well you know the language
and the culture of the place
there will always be moments when
you feel like a foreigner.
Because maybe you don't grasp
a pun or a joke
or you can't express yourself
in the language in all of its nuances
or you forgot a word
or maybe you don't understand the reference to a 90s TV show
your friends just made.
Most of the times it's fine
I have no problems communicating in English
but I miss understanding the unsaid in a conversation
or an eloquent glance
I also miss going to the doctor
and describe my symptoms without struggles
or go to an office
and go through bureaucracy
without going crazy with technical jargon.
In Italy when I speak, when I communicate
it feels like everything makes sense,
I'm not sure if you get what I mean.
I miss relaxing when I communicate,
I miss knowing exactly
what language register to use.
To sum up
I miss feeling at home.
That's all, these were
five things about Italy I miss since living abroad.
In the description you find the link to my blog
where I wrote a post in English on the same topic
so if you prefer to read
you can find it there.
What about you, have you lived
or do you live abroad now?
If so, what do you miss about your country?
