02. Holy Shit! I'm Falling In A Bottomless Pit! - Duration: 2:23.

holy shit!

I'm falling in a bottomless pit! how the fuck did it come to this?!

I was walking along, suddenly I tripped I've been falling and screaming ever since

and after a while I started to worry, how was I going to eat?

so I grabbed whatever falling scraps of food I could find:

cold pizza and ramen and pieces of meat

life in the pit is not so bad once you get used to the never-ending wind

sometimes you even see something rad pass by and disappear again

holy shit!

I'm falling in a bottomless pit! how the fuck did it come to this?!

maybe if I find enough limited edition vinyl records

I could build a little ladder and climb out of it

then I fell past a man with a rope made of money

and he asked if I needed a hand I held onto my pride, said I'm doing fine

and I never saw him again

holy shit!

I'm falling in a bottomless pit!

I guess this is really the end but if I smoke enough and drink enough and

watch enough porn then at least I'll enjoy the descent

Godox P120L Parabolic Octabox Review + San Antonio Photo Shoot BTS - Duration: 10:21.

hey guys my name is Francisco Hernandez and today I'm doing a review on a new

product by godox unfortunately it's not a new like just

yet but it is an awesome type of product that I both highly recommend and use all

the time and that's an octa box the specific octabox that i'm gonna talk

about in today's video is the new godox 120 l parabolic softbox

if you guys are wondering the differences between a parabolic octa box

any shadow octa box there's something that definitely deserves its own video

to talk about but to give you guys a quick summary a parabolic arc box is

gonna have a more narrow focused beam of light that's gonna be similar to like a

grid-like effect and because it's gonna be more focused and more narrow it's

gonna have a bit more contrast a shallow octa box is gonna be more of a wider

beam of light and because it's wider it's gonna have a little bit less

contrast as always with every product that review i'm gonna show you guys

behind the scenes look into a portrait shoot they did using this product the

Galax 120 L so stay tuned to the end of the video to see both the footage and

the photos that I created using this octave box before I continue I do want

to let you guys know that this octa box actually comes in two different sizes it

comes and a 90 centimeter version and a 120 centimeters which of course is the

one that I decided to go with and both of these Arthur boxes actually come in

two different variations there's a light version and a heat resistant version the

main difference between the light version and the heat resistant version

is a type of material that the rods are made out of the light version has rods

that are made out of fiberglass which of course are gonna be very tough but also

light the heat resistant version is gonna have rods that are made out of

metal which of course are also read tough but also more heat resistant if

you guys are interested in knowing the differences in weights between the two

different variations I'm gonna go ahead throw that information on the screen so

you guys can see for yourself if you want to get the lighter version or the

heat resistant version I personally went for the lighter version because I tend

to need to be more portable during my photo shoots

alright so now that I told you guys that I'm gonna go ahead and show you guys

what this modifier comes with the first thing that you'll see when you get this

octa box is that it comes in a nice carrying case that's gonna be able to

carry everything that you get with this modifier of course and when you open up

the case more than likely the first thing that you're gonna see are either

metal rods or fiberglass rods sticking out of the octa box itself and some more

things that you're gonna find inside of the case are gonna be the inner

diffusion panel and the outer diffusion panel which of course are going to be

something you use if you want extra soft light and

nine out of ten times I'm more than likely using both the inner diffusion

and the outer diffusion of whatever out the box that I'm using you're also gonna

find a reflective liner which is gonna be part of the octa box that you're

going to add to the back of the outer box so that no light spills towards the

back and the last thing that you're gonna find is the octave box adapter

ring which more than likely is gonna be Bowen smelt but of course if you decided

to go for another mount it's gonna be that mount alright so now I want to go

ahead and tell you guys some of the pros and the cons of this modifier and I'm

gonna go ahead and start with the pros because there's more pros than there's

cons one of the main pros that I can tell you right off the bat about this

octa box is that once you assemble it it feels so sturdy and so tough and durable

and I don't ever have to worry about it kind of collapsing on its own which is

actually something that I've experienced with cheaper octa boxes in the past

whether it's strong winds made it collapse on its own me bumping it

slightly making it collapse or me putting it to the ground too fast making

it collapse on its own and I don't feel like I'm ever gonna have to worry about

that happening to this specific octa box the second Pro that I wanted to talk

about is actually something that I mentioned towards the beginning of this

video and it's that extra added contrast that you get using this octa box if you

guys are familiar from work at all you would know that I'm a big fan of the

retouching method of dodge and burn and the whole point of dodging burn is to

add some extra contrast to your images and using this octa box I feel like it

has a built-in dodging burn effect so if I'm ever doing a photo shoot and I want

that extra contrast or if you guys want that extra contrast in your images that

I would definitely recommend looking into getting this octa box the third

pose I wanted to talk about is something that I didn't realize I liked before

because I never experienced it before and that's the reflective liner on the

back of the active box the reason why I'm saying it's a pro is because what I

didn't realize with my other active boxes is sometimes I like to get a good

grasp of the modifier before I attach it to the length I'm using such as the

Explorer 600 for example so I really want to get that good grasp before I

attach it to the light and lock it into place and sometimes depending on the

modifier that I'm using the okto box that I'm using game at grasp is kind of

hard so the fact that this reflective liner is removable I can just remove it

get that good grasp attach the light and then put the reflective liner back on

and it's something that I definitely did enjoy while using this octa box the

fourth and last Pro that I wanted to mention about this octa box is the price

at the time of making this video it costs

a hundred and twenty dollars and I know that might seem a little bit expensive

considering the fact that it's not an easily collapsible one it's definitely

something that you have to experience for yourself because once I experienced

how well-constructed it was and how great the light output was it started to

feel like it easily cost more than two hundred dollars so the price is

definitely a pro in my opinion the first kind about this octo bunks that I have

to mention is easily the fact that you have to assemble it and if you guys know

me you know that I tend to recommend octa boxes that open and close very

quickly and this was one that's not as quick as you know a couple seconds but

it is kind of pretty quick at about maybe a minute maybe a minute and a half

to assemble it but of course I shoot on location all the time so that's why I

would have to assemble it and disassemble it but if you tend to shoot

in studio all the time then this is something that you and I have to

experience you know having to assemble it over and over again you can just

assemble it and just leave it in your studio the second con about this octave

box is the fact that it does not come with a grid so although I rarely use one

myself I know that you guys out there might want one so if you want to get

this octa box and you want a grid didn't expect to pay an additional I think

thirty dollars I believe for that grid the last kind about this octa box is a

big one both literally and figuratively and that's because I didn't realize how

big it was from the front to the back and a little bit from the top of the

bottom over I just didn't realize how big it was until I actually got it and

used it and even when I took my behind-the-scenes photos I realized that

it was a pretty big octa box like I mentioned before I typically use shallow

octa boxes so I didn't realize how long and big this one was gonna be until I

used it if you want to get this arctor box and you work in a studio space

definitely be conscious about how much space you have to work within because it

is a big modifier and of course you want to shoot it with this dr. box outdoors

then you won't have to worry so much about the space alright so that's pretty

much it for my review of the good ox P 120 L parabolic softbox I hope you guys

enjoy the BTS footage and the photos that you're about to see and if you

enjoyed the video at all don't forget to give the video a like and subscribe if

you aren't already subscribed and also if you already are subscribed or a new

subscription be sure to hit those Bell notifications because I plan to do a

couple giveaways coming soon and hitting those Bell notifications is really gonna

help you out and the way that you guys can help me out is by commenting with

what you want me to give you guys so whatever

has a lot of likes is more than likely gonna be the thing that I give away I'm

thinking right now either the Explorer 600 or a pair of Glocks 8200 s which is

the evolved to hundreds in case you didn't know that all right take care

guys and I'll see you in the next video actually before I show you guys the

footage I should want to give a quick thanks to everybody who was actually in

the video that went to the photo box that are part of the video you're about

to see and I also think the model we're making it out to model last-minute if

you guys are curious about any of the gear that you used in the video it's not

they want to do with their lives what they want to become you know what kind

of job they want to get and talking to people I realized this happens all the

time is the most important thing to think about is longevity the future so

if you decide to take this road where is that road going to take you how far

along can you keep going down that road or does the road end and what I mean by

all this is if you get a job working for something how far can you go you know

how high can you work yourself up the ladder that's what you need to think

about you don't think about how much money I'm making right now am I gonna be

able to pay my bills right now it's more about the future and the best possible

scenario is to be in a situation where you're making money and you don't have

to be anywhere to make that money that's the best scenario

owning a business for instance is a play there's a job that you can have a choir

where you can make money not having to be there here at a job where you have to

be there to make money than obviously it only makes so much money you have

so thinking outside the box a lot of people all they think about is getting a

job there's a lot more things in life you

only have to get a job you don't have to work for somebody else

no whoever you're working for someone started that business and you can be

that person that starts a business and has employees underneath and you have

people working for you and you know you could be in Hawaii lay down the Sun

you're making money you know and I've had different businesses myself but

business I was in was I had to be there to reduce I hadn't either a big money

and it took me a while to learn but I thought about and he does start a

business that I can make money and not have to to where there's no end to the

potential of that business and I had a business of training and you know I was

making good money you know charging 2 hours an hour you

know training 12 day you know a lot of people say wow you make over $200,000

trading people that's amazing but you know what that's what I can make

that was it that's all I can make I couldn't make more money yeah I could

hire people to work under those people gonna steal the clients you

know they're gonna steal - you know it's really not a job that you can keep don't

even go so you know my goal now is to do things where I'm making money and I

don't have to be there you know maybe I have five different businesses that I'm

not at any of those businesses so it's really important to think outside the

box that's the most important thing about being successful

Hello and welcome to another one of my videos.

This one is going to be a little bit not so nice, because we are going to

have to talk about finances. Do you remember the days when Youtube

was free, when it was free to upload free to see, and there was no advertising.

It was wonderful. But then Google bought it and then of course, the writing

was on the wall, there was going to be advertising.

I resisted that and fought it for 8 years, before some very not so good people

started claiming that the creative commons music that I was using was theirs.

and they had the right therefore, to put advertising on my channel.

I got sick and tired of that and thought well, if someone is going to get paid

then I should get payed rather than them. And so I went through the process

and got monetized. Fortunately it worked ok before they demonetized

my other channels and everything and the amount that they were paying

was not that great but it helped pay my puppeteer, his bus fare to get here

to help me out in what we do. Then recently, as things went on,

my income from Youtube is dropping dropping, dropping, until it's not even

a fifth of what it was before, and it equates to around about a coffee per week.

Now, it takes me between one and two days to do a video, because I not only do it

in English, I subtitle it in English for those who don't understand my accent

I subtitle it in Spanish for the Spanish speakers and then I do a copy

of the video in Spanish for the Spanish market. It takes me between

one and two days and as you can imagine a cup of coffee as pay, for two days work

Is not very encouraging. And so, it's difficult to keep up with the videos.

So recently people have been telling me that I should open a Patreon account

so that those that appreciate what I am doing, and what we are doing here

can help to support us, and so I did that. I've opened a Patreon account,

so that you can join that and pay a monthly support for us so that we can

continue doing what we are doing. It's on www.patreon.com/philipstephens007

Easy to remember. It is in the description below as well.

So if you could go there, there is another video explaining a little bit more

about what we do and you may think about supporting us to help me continue

doing what we do, so thank you very much if you can.

Telltale sign that could be a giveaway clue when Meghan Markle becomes pregnant - Duration: 3:43.

</form> Royal fans across the world anxiously await the news that Meghan Markle is expecting a baby

She was recently snapped sipping on champagne with hubby Prince Harry so it's unlikely she's expecting yet

However, etiquette experts say there is one crucial sign we should be looking out for that could reveal that she's pregnant

They reckon the big giveaway sign is all to do with her hair.  Naturally, Meghan has beautiful tightly-curled locks that she has styled into a sleek, glossy mane

In the past, she has said she chooses to have Brazilian blow dries, which smoothen and straighten out the hair

In 2011, she said: "My mum is black and my dad is Dutch and Irish, so the texture of my hair is densely curly

I've been getting Brazilian blowouts for a couple of years."  Speaking to the Sun , Myka Meier, who runs Plaza Hotel's Duchess Effect etiquette courses, said that although we don't know exactly what products and process she uses on her hair, it's likely keratin or a Brazilian treatment

She added: "As soon as she gets pregnant she will no longer be able to use those same products, which could be very interesting

"I use the same products because I am quarter African and have very curly, frizzy hair and when I got pregnant I had to stop using all of those

"  Apparently once we see Meghan opting to tie her hair up in ponytails and buns - this is a key sign she may be expecting

The reason is, straightening treatments contain chemicals that she may not be able to use once she is pregnant

For example, some Brazilian blow dries use formaldehyde to penetrate cuticles and make strands super glossy

Anything containing this chemical should be approached with caution - but particularly for mums-to-be

Hair treatments like the Brazilian blow dry tend to last around three months - so keep an eye out on whether the Duchess starts to change her look

Different variations of the treatment are available in most hair salons these days - your average keratin smoothing treatment costs between £100 and £200 in the UK

There's also another sign that little ones are on the cards for Harry and Meghan

As a wedding gift, the Queen gave the newlyweds Adelaide Cottage, which is located on the property of Windsor Castle

Although there is no baby bump blossoming just yet - renovations there raised eyebrows, as the plans supposedly included not one but TWO nurseries

Read More Meghan Markle  "Given that they're rushing to make room for a baby, palace insiders are whispering that they could be expecting already," a so-called insider told OK! magazine at the time

The former suits actress already has a special gift for her daughter : a two-tone Cartier French Tank watch

DIY BTS Answer Concept Photo E Version - Duration: 12:23.

Hey guys today I'm going to show you how to make the LY answer concept photo the E version

So the first thing you need to do is to print this onto cardstock paper and I have it linked down below

This is what they look like

Next is the flower so what you want to do is to measure a strip of paper 2cm by 2cm

and cut them

Once you cut them into little squares you want to fold them 3 times

And you want to cut it until it's like a tear shape so when you unfold it it's a flower

But, for me every single time I kept doing it got worse and worse LOL ToT

To make the flower you will need 3 pieces

So for the 1st one you would cut 2 petals for the 2nd one

You will cut 3 petals and the 3rd one you will cut 4 petals

Then you want to glue down one of the petals again you want to repeat that

Once you have all 3 of them done you want to take the tiniest one and then add a little bit of glue on the

bottom and stick it to the medium-sized one. Once you have that done you wanna stick that into the big one

And then you want to repeat it in pink

And if you don't want to do that

you can also use fake flowers and it since I only have the white ones, I also needed a purple and pink

So I painted them

You first add the color and then dilute it with water

So if with the purple one it's a bit different so I decided to just cut down or like

Make more petals. I don't really know how to describe but I just cut down strips

and thats it

It makes it look like it has more petals than just the regular 5

Next you will need foam board or a cardboard. It doesn't really matter

But all you need to do is to trace a circle around it

I don't know what the measurements will help but at 6 1/2 cm

Like the diameter is 6 1/2cm so yeah

Next I made a tree for Jungkook

What I did was I drew like a little sketch and then

Drew, use hot glue as a pencil drew over it yeah

Next what you want to do is to like make indents of where you want to put everything

But I suggest you paint the bottom first and than add the indents

This is what the tree looks like

Jimin also know like mini trees or branches so I drew again and then trace it with hot glue

For both Jimin and Jin they both have like these plants. I don't know what they are

But I you first color them beige and then dab like yellow on top of it

That's basically everything so now you just had to put them all together ^o^

For the final touch I decided to add fake moss and I'm let you guys enjoy me decorating this

And yeah thank you guys so much for watching and I'll see you next time bye <3

05) e la turca Yasemin Can (14:57.63).

Arsenal star confirm Unai Emery has given him NO assurances over first team action - Duration: 2:08.

Petr Cech insists Unai Emery has given him no assurances over the first-choice spot at Arsenal, and the decision is just down to how well he plays

Many Arsenal fans were surprised to see Cech start over the weekend, given the summer acquisition of Bernd Leno

The German joined on a club-record fee for a goalkeeper, so you'd expect him to be straight into the team after completing a full pre-season

Nonetheless, Cech started on Sunday against the champions. He insisted afterwards that he hasn't been given any guarantees by head coach Unai Emery though, and selection simply depends on performances

The manager has not told me I am now first-choice," said Cech."I was told I was starting the game (against Manchester City) and it will be up to me how well I play

It was a challenge and obviously I was happy to get the nod today but nothing is finished

If that's true, it should be a good thing for Arsenal. The best performing goalkeeper should get chances regardless of whether they're the most senior, or they have the number 1 shirt, or any other factors that aren't performance based

At the same time, you don't want goalkeepers to think they're going to be dropped every time they make a mistake

That just makes them more nervous and more likely to do something stupid trying to make an impression

A certain amount of consistency is good, as long as you also know when it's the right time to make a change

Stephan Lichtsteiner Opens Up On Rivalry Between Him And Hector Bellerin - Duration: 2:48.

Arsenal's new right back Stephan Lichtsteiner says that there's no competition between him and Hector Bellerin because they are all gunners

Arsenal completed the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus this summer and it was an easy deal to do because the gunners got the veteran right back for free since his contract at the Italian club had expired

Stephan Lichtsteiner who plays as a right back comes to the Emirates Stadium to try to fix Arsenal's defensive problems which have been among the top reasons for the North London club's failure to win major competitions like the Premier League

The former Juventus right back will however have to share the right back role with Hector Bellerin who he found at Arsenal and there have been many speculations on who the manager will be using this season

There was an interview made on Wednesday featuring both the two right backs and here's how it goes after we transcribed the main point

Bellerin: So obviously, I have my plan to be the starting right back. What is your plan to be it?

Stephan: We are a team, it's not Hector against Stephan. It's Hector and Stephan for Arsenal, there are so many games so I have to be ready for each game

Stephan Lichtsteiner continued and said that he hopes to give his best to the club so that they can win titles this season as well as making it back to the UEFA Champions League

The Arsenal fans were pleased with his statement because it showed how he isn't selfish and some started saying via replies that he is their favourite player now at the Emirates Stadium

Hector Bellerin was in the starting eleven on Sunday when the gunners welcomed Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium but Stephan Lichtsteiner came in later after Arsenal youngster Ainsley Maitland-Niles sustained an injury during the match but the gooners got a glimpse of his leadership skills as the gunners tried to get back into the match

Unai Emery hasn't spoken on who will be his first choice right back but it seems the manager will balance them since the gunners will be participating in the hectic Europa League which has many games so one will become a regular in the Premier League while the other in the European competition

What is a Podcast and How to listen to them - Duration: 5:06.

thanks for watching hindsight 101 click the subscribe button and select the

notification bell to stay up to date

hello I'm Derrick and welcome to hindsight 101 while you're learn about things

that will help you in everyday life now I'm here to talk to you about podcasting

and what is a podcast full disclosure I have my own podcast channel and as I was

starting out and sharing it with friends and family I noticed that a lot of them

had no clue what I was talking about I was kind of shocked about that because

podcasts are pretty popular right now grandma they're not as big as YouTube

but they aren't very popular and you hear about him everywhere and seems like

everyone's doing one so I'm kind of shocked that no one knew about it but

they didn't but what is a podcast a podcast is basically on-demand

talk radio where you can get a lot of different things you can get information

there's comedy current events whatever you're into you can probably find a

podcast about it so the good thing about a podcast is you can consume that

content anywhere so say you're at work or you're studying you can sit down put

some earbuds in and go to town or say you want to go for a run you like to

exercise just pop in those Bluetooth headphones and then enjoy and get lost

in it or on the other hand say you're driving to work every morning or you're

on a long trip just sync up that phone and listen to that podcast so there's so

many different things out there that you can enjoy instead of maybe bending out

in front of the TV you can pop in a podcast maybe get more informed about

something so who would not want that so now that I'm done telling you about what

is a podcast now we're gonna talk about how you listen to it cuz that's the most

important thing anyways though I can only show you on an iPhone but it works

pretty similar on a Android device as well so you just have to find the right

app there's tons of them out there there's pretty standard apps from all

the hosting sites like Spreaker blueberry buy the iPhone podcasting app

tons about their Google just came out with one as well

so I'll link all those below or you can download different apps they call them

pod catchers one of the big ones is pocket cast where you can do all sorts

of crazy stuff like speed up the podcast save it download it whenever you want

it'll automatically delete once you listen to it and download the next one

don't any different options and all these different apps that you can choose

from you're not tied to just one you can consume your content anywhere it's I

Heart Radio Spotify some people put their podcast on YouTube as well so

there's tons of ways to consume a podcast unlike YouTube where you have to

go to YouTube to listen to it you can listen to your podcast anywhere on

almost any application that you want it's all up to you and your preference

alright I've said enough let's get to the app but first to what you want to do

is find the app on your phone is this the iPhone you want to find the podcast

app though since iTunes actually has an podcast app click on the purple app so

in the lower right hand corner you see a search menu you want to click on that so

you can search for the podcast you want to subscribe to now in there you want to

look for a podcast we're gonna look up Joe Rogan came up pretty simple there it

is click on it now you see the three dots and you click on the three dots

where the purple is it gives you limited options subscribe and share

now when you subscribe to it you get more options we'll get to that in a

minute you can see here the recent episodes

popular episodes ratings and then related podcasts to the one you chose so

let's go back up and let's subscribe so you just want to hit that button and

then go back to the three dots and you have more options the one you want to

look at is settings and then in settings you can subscribe to it get

notifications you can also choose how you want the order of the episodes to

play sequential most recent keep the most recent episodes a lot of different

things might be subscribed for some odd reason

or you can go to custom settings and you can choose a lot of different options

you can shape newest to oldest oldest to new you can download only new episodes

all on played episodes turn it off any different things you can delete episodes

after you listen to them you can turn that on or off you can limit the episode

so how many get downloaded on your phone if you have limited bandwidth or limited

space on your phone and you can refresh how often it'll go out and search for

new podcasts usually I leave this at a week but you can do daily if you think

that this podcast goes out daily next what you want to do is click on the

podcast here will click on the most recent and click on play this episodes

about 2 hours and 25 minutes you can listen to it the good thing about it is

you can pause it and wherever you leave off you can exit out of the app the app

and you can come back to it and it'll play right where you left off it's

pretty awesome well that about wraps it up like and subscribe thanks for

watching take care

Black and White Simulated Process Tutorial Part 1 - Duration: 16:59.

What is up everybody it is Matt with Mikey Designs so we have a tutorial on

how to do a greyscale image on black t-shirts that requires three colors

coming up welcome back everyone if you are new to the channel be sure to

subscribe give this video a thumbs up share our videos and check out some of

our other videos we're going to show you how to do essentially a separation its

simulated process using separation studio we're gonna use a combination of

separation studio and Photoshop and illustrator as well and let me show you

guys what we got going on here okay so here is our artwork this is one of our

clients two wild collection you know should check them out they're really

cool fear into oddities and so here's the artwork that the client has provided

and the reason we're going to do this in essentially three colors we're gonna do

a white base a gray and then another white and I'll show you why you can see

all these kind of grayscale transitions if you tried doing that with one screen

could make it work but doing it with three separate colors is going to make

it look that much better especially these areas here so let me show you how

I go about doing that first things first I know I want this about 14 inches high

our maximum print size is 12 by 15 but let's see what size this ends up coming

out to we'll change this to and I just want to image size and did command

option I you can go here to image and then image size and I'm gonna change

this over to inches so it's pretty high resolution 300 dpi six by eight almost

nine inches so I'm going to resize this thing

the resample selection here so basically we're going to keep the resolution to

whatever it ends up being let's make this 14 inches tall so that almost gives

me almost 10 inches wide which is pretty good

it'll be about this wide on the shirt so let's give that a try

189 resolution not too bad could be better but I think this will work just

fine what I'm going to do next is I'm going to take my levels I'm going to hit

command l or you can go to image adjustments and then levels right here

I'm gonna take my black selector select my black and what that does it makes it

a true 100 percent in black and then I'm gonna grab this little white selector

here and that's going to make sure whatever is supposed to be white is a

100% white we're gonna hit okay we're pretty much

all set as far as the preparation goes using photoshop so I'm gonna go ahead

and save this out and we just want to maybe we want to make sure it's an RGB

it's an RGB so I'm gonna go ahead and save this as a tiff into the clients

folder and then hit OK now that we have saved our image out of Photoshop we are

now in separation studio and guys if at any point if I lose you feel free to

leave a comment if you just want to say hello leave a comment and so what we're

gonna do now we're gonna open this up in separation studio just hit command o or

to learn your quick keys or just opening things up makes things a lot faster and

I just launched this program I don't have the fastest computer so bear with

me for a moment okay here is our file we're gonna go ahead and open that and

now while we are in separation studio we just want to make sure that our t-shirt

color is black this is what I'm talking about and you also have to make some

fine adjustments to really get this to work well so all these colors you see

here red blue gold purple green turquoise we are not going to use any of

that because you can see there's no information there whatsoever as I click

on them click on the under base you see your under base you click on your gray

you can see how much gray is here and then last but not least our white top so

I'm gonna so what I'm going to do is just go through each one of these

channels and delete them and one of the cool things about this program is you

can right-click views film and that's essentially how it will print out on

your film positive so I'm gonna go here and once again click through these and

see that there is nothing there so I'm gonna go through here and delete each

one of these channels that I do not need

okay now that we have each one of these channels deleted we're gonna kind of

fine-tune this a little bit so I'm going to zoom in a little bit and I'm just

hitting command + to zoom in and we're going to take a look at each one of

these channels to see if there's any kind of adjustment that we can make

you'll see there is the color values over here and generally if I'm wanting

this to be a bright white I want this under bass here to read 100%

so what I'm gonna have to do is adjust bad by 17% so I'm gonna go to the under

bass right click on it and then adjust channel and I'm going to add we do 17%

but really the 95 to 100% range tends to fall off anyways so let's let's bump it

up by 12 maybe even 13 and then hit OK and see what we get now now let's scroll

over this it looks like we have about 93 94 and hit command Z I'm gonna undo that

I'm gonna go back and bump it up just a little more let's try let's try 15 see

that work where that gets us I mean sometimes even though you're justing it

by that that 15% it doesn't always equate to it reading what it's gonna say

here so you kind of have to do it and move and see what happens because I'm

not trying to boost underbase too too much okay it looks like we got about 9 7

98% not gonna be able to hold those 2 and 3% dots not with my setup I have a

multi-point exposure unit so those things will just end up really just

disappearing the light sources making its way around

those dots so they're gonna disappear and then the next thing I'm going to do

I'm gonna go back and change this to view a zinc okay there we go now I'm

gonna scroll over the top of this guy you can see that there's about a 1% in

gray here we don't want that and then our white top is reading 96% we

actually do want that to be a hundred percent so I'm going to go in here and

I'm going to adjust this channel by about four or five hit okay okay now we

got a hundred percent white on our top so that way when we do go to print or

printing a 100 percent on top of one hundred percent giving us a nice bright

print we're going to use two thirty mesh screens and output this at forty five

dpi now let me go back to my gray take a look see what we got going on here

because the image was somewhat low res you kind of getting this a little bit of

this feather around the edge let me just go ahead and select some of these hard

areas and I'm just using this selection tool here almost like you're doing

Photoshop I'm gonna hold shift select some more of these areas that do not

need that gray in there I'm gonna grab this as well and come over here and just

keep on grabbing the rest of it

okay now that I have every single part selected where I kind of want to excuse

me remove some of the gray out of it I'm gonna go to migrate channel and I'm

gonna right-click on it select a just channel and I'm just gonna pull back the

low saturation fader here until it's gone okay that looks pretty good to me

hit command D to deselect it and go back to our overview and now that looks

pretty nice I think we are ready to go ahead we're gonna go ahead and save this

and print out some film so stick around when you save this file it's gonna save

it as an EPS I'll show you what's gonna happen whenever you bring it into your

illustrator okay our file is saved I have my t-shirt registration template

open and ready to go I'm on my art layer and if you need help with the t-shirt

registration template go over to our website I'll include a link in the

description where you can get that for five bucks that's right it's five bucks

okay so now what I'm gonna do is I'm going to place the art we just separated

onto our artboard I'm gonna do that by hitting command shift P or you can just

go to file in place I like to use my quick commands as always you should

learn your quick commands your quick keys helps get the job done a lot

quicker so here is our EPS file I'm going to hit place and what it's doing

right now is is bringing in all that information I'm gonna place this on the

artboard real quick and then I'm gonna go to my align pallet make sure it's

aligned to artboard and there we have it it's all nice Center lined on the

artboard we have our Center marks you'll see here that we do have a white

underbase a gray and then a white top you'll see that it has

number one two and three we're gonna print in that order so we're gonna print

flashed underbase and then we're gonna print the gray and white went on wet

that way those colors mixed together it also increases production we're gonna

have to flash it again you can flash h1 but there's no need to okay so at this

point I'm going to go ahead and save this file should always save your work

actually let me call this setup like to call all of my Free Press document setup

it's that way if we get a reorder we can just find the file and just hit print

and if we need to do more film make sure it's an AI file we're going to go ahead

and save that

and one thing I forgot to do that I'm gonna go back and do just really quickly

sometimes he's saying slipped my mind I'm gonna go back and pull all the gray

out of their name here so let me adjust that I'm gonna pull it back until it's

gone okay so that will be a more crisp looking font I'm just gonna hit save

because we've already saved it and what's gonna happen is illustrators are

gonna update it automatically look at that isn't that smart are we just a

Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls Starlight Stage: Akikaze ni Te o Futte (English Sub) - Duration: 37:13.

Autumn Colors OP

- Office -

Yuka: Good morning!

Yumi: Good morning

Riina: Morning you two~

Since the three of us are the ones called in for a meeting, this means.... that I guess?

Yuka: I think that's definitely it! [Akikaze ni te o futte] !

Yumi: We had our CD recording just a while back didn't we

Also, the date at the park!

*giggle*, it sure was fun

Riina: Right, the drama! Acting out a date

Well, I was cast as the guy....it Rocks in a sense

Yuka: Rocks.... It certainly was an innovative project

I wonder what our work would be about this time

Yumi: It's a love song so....ah! A romance drama perhaps!

Riina: But with everyone playing as guys this time

Yuka: Eeeh! A romance drama is difficult enough, on top of that having everyone cast as guys....

At the very least, I want to be cast as a girl

Yumi: An all girls'.... romance drama?

Yuka: ...ah, Yumi-san, that's not what I meant! You're mistaken!

Producer: What mistaken?

Yuka: P-producer-san! Nothing's mistaken! Osu!

Riina: Good morning, Producer-san

We were just talking about what would our work would be about this time round

Yumi: And so Yuka-chan said that a romance drama would be nice

An all girls'....

Yuka: You're mistaken! But rather, let's put that aside!

Well, Producer-san, what will our work be about this time?

P: - It's a Fes!

You explained in detail....

Riina: We'll be taking part in a large scale Autumn festival as representatives of our Production, wow, that's really amazing!

The song is.... [Akikaze ni te o futte] !

Yumi: We were right on our predictions! Following our CD work, let's do our best, the three of us together

Yuka, Riina: Yes! Yea

Chihiro: Excuse me Producer-san, thanks for waiting

Rookie trainer: Thanks for your hard work!

Riina: Chihiro-san and Trainer-san What's the matter?

Chihiro: This time round, our trainer here will be the one in charge of the lessons, so we're here for greetings

P: Pleased to be working with you

Rookie trainer: Yes! I'm still very much a trainee but I'll do my best with this assignment

Pleased to be working with you!

Chihiro: .....this is her first assignment as a main trainer so her elder sister sends her regards as well

Yumi: Come to think of it, you've always been our support

We're the ones who're looking forward to working with you

Riina: Then, this time round it's not us three....

But, let's do our best, the four of us together! Something like that?

Yuka: Yes! All of us are still growing

Don't hold back, we look forward to your firm guidance!

Rookie trainer: Everyone.... thank you so much!

Let's do our best to make this the best LIVE ever!

Yuka, Riina, Yumi: Yes!

Veteran trainer: Producer-dono. Thank you so much for this

However.... is it really alright?

To leave the job of main trainer to my inexperienced little sister

P: This will also lead to the girls' growth

Veteran trainer: I'm glad to hear that

I'll keep an eye out so that I can deal with it in case anything happens

I leave my little sister in your care

The girls who leapt through Autumn winds Chapter 1

Yuka: Goal! *huff*huff*

....U~nn, it feels so good!

As I thought, Autumn is all about running

Rookie Trainer: Nakano-san, thanks for your hard work

Your stamina sure is amazing. As expected of you

Yuka: *phew*, thank you so much!

My stamina is my forte!

Riina: *huff*huff*.... we've finally reached the goal~

You're too fast Yuka-chan~

Yumi: *huff*huff*

....to think that we'd be this exhausted from warm ups....

We have to do our best to build our stamina

Rookie Trainer: Thanks for both of your hard work!

Well you don't build your stamina in just one day, so continue to do your best!

- On break -

Yumi: *phew*~....

It's been a while since I perspired this much!

Riina: Yea~ it feels like when we were just starting out

We haven't had the chance to sprint like this at all recently

Rookie Trainer: *gasp!* S-sorry, was that too much to ask for in the beginning?

Was I being too tough I wonder....

Riina: Aah, it's no problem at all!

If we compared this to the elder sister trainer....

Yumi: R-Riina-chan

Riina: Ah.... I'm sorry~

Rookie Trainer: *giggle*, it's ok

Actually, even I feel that my sister can be scary sometimes.... keep that a secret alright?

Yuka: O-of course!

Trainer-san is only being tough because you care for us Idols

Instead, the tougher you are the better!

Riina: Yuka-chan, please don't raise the difficulty~

Please, everything in moderation!

It'll be problematic if Kei-san were to become like Sei-san!

Yumi: The atmosphere during their lessons are completely different

Sei-san.... that's your elder sister's name right?

Rookie Trainer: Yes, Sei is the second eldest.

The eldest is Aoki Rei and the third is Mei.

My sisters are really amazing.... I aspire to be like them!

Riina: It's amazing that all four sisters are trainers

Aoki-san.... or maybe it'll be better to call you Kei-san

Rookie Trainer: Kei would be less confusing

Of course, you can call me trainer as well, anything that's easier for everyone

Yuka: Got it, trainer-san!

Ah, I mean, Kei-san!

Yumi: *giggle*. It seems like it'll take some time to get used to calling her that

Rookie Trainer: It is difficult to change something out of the blue

Well then, the schedule for the afternoon is.... the inspection for the Fes

Please rest well until it is time

- Fes venue -

Yuka: So this is the Fes venue

Wow, who knew that we'll being able to do perform at such a huge venue, I'm so excited!

Riina: Many other idols will be coming right?

While I do feel excited....We have to leave a lasting impact!

Yumi: Impact, huh.

Our song this time will be a ballad, so instead of trying to stand out, I would rather we have a perfomance that will leave an impression

Rookie Trainer: .........

Yuka: Ah, it looks like all the Idol groups are here

So I guess that'll make them our rivals for this Fes

Riina: O~h as expected of a large scale Fes!

I'm getting all fired up~!

Yumi: There isn't a lot of time until the actual performance, so we have to do our best during lessons!

Right, Kei-san?

Rookie Trainer: .........

Yuka: Hmm? Is something wrong?

Rookie Trainer: Ah, ye-yes! Erm, that's right!

Let's do our best to make this a great LIVE!

Riina: Were you zoning out?

Your sister will get angry at you, just kidding

Rookie Trainer: Ah, ah ah..... I-I'll be more careful! ...alright. I'll come up with the best ever lesson plan for the upcoming Fes.

Please look forward to it!

Yumi: You sure are fired up

Al~right, let's do our best to keep up!

Yuka, Riina: Yes! Yea!

Rookie Trainer: .........

"Hellish special training" by fourth daughter Chapter 2

- Lesson Room -

Rookie Trainer: ...and here it is!

This is the lesson plan for until the day of the Fes!

Riina: This is....rather, well....

Yumi: There are so many different kinds!

Rookie Trainer: I-is that so....

No, but these are all necessary lessons!

Yuka: This lesson plan that fills fifty over A4 pages....

It's wonderful! It's like your older sister's hellish special training!

Riina: Was it supposed to be like that this time round!?

Yumi: This much within this time frame... I wonder if we'll make it in time....

No, we have to do our best to make it in time, right?

Riina: Yumi-chan you're so optimistic!

But wouldn't this be way over our limits!?

Yuka: Riina-chan. Rather than being hesitant and stop moving, we should first make some progress!

Let's put our faith in Kei-san and give it a shot! Come on, come on!

Riina: A-as expected of an athletic person....

I got it already I'll do it, I'll do it alright?

Rookie Trainer: First is the vocal lesson!

For [Akikaze ni te o futte], it is essential to have clarity in the unison and to sing with emotions

RIina: *huff huff*....

I get that but.... Urghh...!

Rookie Trainer: To have proper pitch, you need to have good abdominal strength!

I'll be strict in training you on that

Yuka: 98....99....100!

Yumi: Uugh....I can't go up anymore....

Rookie Trainer: Next is dance!

The grace and accuracy of movement is required in the dance of a ballad song

Firstly, to train an elegant body we start with flexibility!

Yuka: Ugh....ughhh~.....

Yumi: Yuka-chan, shall I help you to push your back? Here

Yuka: Aah! Ow ow oww!

Riina: Yumi-chan, that's so brutal~....

Rookie Trainer: Well then, it's time for visual lesson!

Posing is everything. Let's train your core strength~!

Yumi: It's physical training till the end...!

Riina: Body, move...!

Yuka, Riina, Yumi: Pshhh~....

Rookie Trainer: Everyone, you really did your best!

Erm....so, how was it?

Yuka: Let's see....

to put it simply, it was physical training hell

Riina: It's way too frantic~....

We'll try our best but at this rate I think we'll collapse even before the day of the actual LIVE....

Rookie Trainer: I-is that so....You're right....

Erm, I'll come up with an even better training menu!

Yumi: *phew*. Oh, I'm so tired~!

Today's lesson might even be tougher than the older sisters'

Riina: I wonder why Kei-san crammed so much of it together

It's on a whole different level of brutal

Yuka: ....I feel like I can understand

Kei-san....is currently lost!

Yumi: Lost....as in the direction of our Lessons?

Yuka: That as well....but something even more fundamental I think

I have an idea. May I ask for the two of you to help me?

Yumi: Of course! At this rate, it seems like our bodies will break down even before the Fes....

And most importantly, I'm worried about Kei-san

Riina: Yea. Tell us about this idea of yours Yuka-chan

Yuka: It's something really simple....erm....

Veteran Trainer: I'm really sorry for the trouble my sister has caused

Producer-dono, as I thought that girl is still....

P: It's still far too early to conclude

Producer: I feel that this incident will also be good experience for the idols

Veteran Trainer: Is that so....well, then I'll observe the situation for a little while longer.

However, if it seems like she's going to continue to cause trouble then I'll take over as in-charge, so I'll be in your care

Chapter 3: The Method For Us to Overcome

-Cafe-

Yuka: Coming to the cafe... somehow makes me wanna eat something.

Like donuts.

Riina: Donuts?

...Oh, I think I know why.

Yumi: Riina-chan, do you have something like that?

Riina: Huh? I don't have anything to eat.

I do usually eat sweets, but I like those such as fries more.

Yuka: Yumi-san gives an impression of having herb tea.

Yumi: Yes, I like herb tea.

If you use the herb I planted at home to make one, it will be fresh and tasty.

Besides, I can take some rest with that♪

Riina: Wow~, that's great, and girlish!

You grow not only flowers, but also herb, don't you?

Rookie Trainer: Hey...

Yumi: What about you, Kei-san? Your favorite food.

Kei (Rookie Trainer): Well, I like those with a lot of protein, like white meat...

Wait, it's not like that! Um, is there something you wanna talk with me?

Yuka: ...Well, it's time to switch to the topic.

The atmosphere was warmed up, after all.

Riina: The truth is, we did say that we wanna call you out, but we couldn't bring up the subject,

and thus ended up just talking freely instead.

Yuka: Uhh. Please don't say anything about that.

*deep sigh*

Well... Kei-san. Um ...

is something troubling you?!

Kei: Ahh.... I'm sorry.

Letting idols be worried about me, I'm disqualified as a trainer...

Yuka: There is no such thing!

Worried about it is just the proof of you facing it seriously!

Yumi: If you don't mind, would you talk to us?

About the things you're holding in your heart.

Kei: Everyone... Thank you so much.

Riina: Shouldn't we switch place now?

Our drink had become empty, and we had stayed in the cafe for a very long time.

...Moreover, I know a good place for this situation.

Yumi: Huh... What is that?

-Riverbank-

Riina: When I run into a wall of something, like worries, it makes me wanna come here. Somehow.

Yumi: The autumn sky in the sunset is so beautiful...

Somehow it's the scenery that will make you become honest.

Kei: ...I'm sorry. Taking your important time before Live away...

Yumi: Don't need to apologize. This moment, is also important.

Kei: Thank you...

I was irritated.

About that I have to properly derive the result of the big job that was given to me for the first time.

Yuka: Properly derive the result... What does that mean?

Kei: ...Making every idol be able to perform best on Live.

Riina: Yes. Because of you trainers having thoughts like that, we can stand on stage in the right way.

Kei: But, that's all my sisters' ability... and I...

Yumi: There's no such thing. Kei-san, too, is working hard for our sake.

And that feeling was passed to us.

Yuka: Yes! Besides, there's no need to derive the correct path alone!

If you're confused, just talk to your mates!

Kei: Mates?

Riina: Yep, mates. Talk with us about that.

Well, if you don't mind. After all, you did say, "Let's work together in four!"

Kei: ...!

Yuka: We are mates for making our Live best!

Trainer and idols, though our roles are different, we're a team!

Kei: Everyone... you are really amazing. I can't see anything but myself...

Kei: Thank you very much!

In the end, I'm still immature, and I might not be able to do well like my sisters.

Kei: Therefore, in order to do better lessons together, please help me out!

Yumi: Of course! From tomorrow, let's have a fresh start and work hard.

Riina: Haaah~, am I free from the muscle training now? Just joking.

Yuka: What are you talking about?! This and that are different things.

We're gonna do the training!

Riina: Guhh.

Yumi: Then, Yuka-chan's is about flexibility.

Yuka: Uhhh.

Kei: *giggles* Well then, as a response to your expectations, from tomorrow, we're doing tight lessons again!

Let's work hard together once more, with the Fes as the goal!

Yuka / Yumi / Riina: Yes!

Chapter 4: For the Beautiful Change

-During lessons-

Kei: About the steps for this part, is it OK to stay like this?

It seems hard to connect with the next part.

Yuka: Can we change the pose after switching position?

If we do that, I think we can make it!

Chihiro: Seems like the lesson is going smoothly. Makes us feel relieved.

Veteran Trainer: Yes... No, rather than that, thanks to the idols.

They have grown before we realize... and I can't imagine that we're the one being taught.

Chihiro: Not just only teaching, but also there is something we can get while doing that. Isn't that so?

Veteran Trainer: ...Sometimes, it's necessary to believe in and watch over them. It's probably like that.

-Park-

Yumi: Hey, everyone! Right here, right here!

Look, the red leaves look really beautiful.

Yuka: You're right. Feels like the autumn is at their best!

Yumi: Yes. I like the park in autumn.

Not just red leaves, the flowers blooming in autumn is beautiful as well.

Cosmos, fragrant olive... and a lot of others!

Riina: The scenery is beautiful... But why are we coming to the park?

Kei: Well, after lessons, we are having meeting for once...

Yumi: We're talking about the songs today, aren't we?

If we're talking the song about fall, it's better to be at the place where you can feel it.

Kei: I think... that makes some sense!

Riina: Yep. Also we can secure the image of "Akikaze ni Te o Futte*." (Eng Name song: Waving Hands in the Autumn)

...Are those two appearing in the song met with each other in such kind of place?

Yuka: What a painful* love song.

The seperated two met with each other again after a long time...

They were supposed to be happy, but they can't say any word.

Yumi: As the time flows, the relationship between two had changed.

No, not just the relationship, but themselves.

Riina: Being an adult... it's not all good things for that, probably.

Making you think about wanting to return to that moment.

Yuka: We should have grown when becoming an adult, why does the amount of bitter things increase...?

Yumi: It's probably in reverse.

Riina: Reverse?

Yumi: As we live, those hard obstacles are gonna give us a visit someday...

However, that's why we have to overcome them, and grow up.

Yuka: Somehow... It's serious. For living.

Yumi: But, not all of them are bad, maybe.

...Look. There are lots of red leaves falling, right?

Yumi: Red leaves means that the trees are preparing for winter.

The warm season has passed, the autumn comes, the weather becomes colder and colder,

and it becomes a severe season for the plants.

Yumi: In order to prepare for winter, the leaves will become red in the process of the trees making them fall.

Kei: If there is no coldness, those beautiful red leaves will not be born.

Yumi: Right. Thus, even though there are only hard things at that moment...

It's the necessary process for the beautiful change, no doubt.

Riina: Wow-... That's deep.

After this, it will be great if the two in the song can change in a good way.

Yuka: Yeah.

We wanna overcome the obstacles, and have a beautiful change, like those leaves!

Kei: You are gonna be alright.

You're gonna be more and more beautiful, definitely!

Yumi: Yes. To make us become beautiful red leaves like this... let's work hard together.

Chapter 5: Lay Over the Thoughts in the Autumn Wind

-Before the Fes Performance-

Yuka: Finally, the performance.

No wonder it's a large-scale fes. There are many idols on the lineup!

Yumi: It's far from our time, but...

Uhh, I'm still nervous.

Riina: As a representative of our agency, we can't show uncool spot to the others.

Let's do our best!

Kei: Hello, everyone! I brought you some drink!

Yuka: Thank you. I'll take it!

Kei: Make sure you hydrate yourself properly!

Well, is there anything else?

Riina: It's fine.

Kei: OK, well... Um, have you finished checking everything, like dance composition?

Yumi: We just finished combining our moveset. It's perfect.

Kei: And then, and then...

You might be nervous on the large-scale fes, it's gonna be fine! It's OK!

Yumi: Could it be... Kei-san is the one being nervous?

Kei: Wha! Ah... I, I'm sorry.

In fact... I'm not the one that is gonna be on stage, but somehow I feel nervous.

Riina: *giggles* Something like parental love?

Yuka: Thank you for being nervous with us.

After all, the performance is made by us 4 this time.

Yumi: We do remember everthing Kei-san taught us.

Just watch us!

Kei: Everyone...

Yes! From now on, I'll give you plenty of support!

Chihiro: Hello. It's about time to head for the stage wing.

Is everything set?

Yumi / Yuka / Riina: Yes!

Chihiro: *giggles* Nice answer. Try your best!

Yuka: *deep breath*

Riina: Yuka-chan, you all right? Got nervous again?

Yuka: Ah, no. Not like that...

I was thinking, Live is a thing full of thoughts from many kinds of people.

Yumi: Yeah. The thoughts of us idols, and those from those staff that support us...

Riina: We have to respond to the thoughts of the fans who come to cheer us up, as well.

Yuka: Yes. And, The thought of Producer-san who brought us all the way to this place...

In order to respond to all of them, we have this Live.

Yumi: Yes. If there is any of them missing, we won't be able to come to where we are.

That's why we have to cherish each Live.

Riina: Now thinking about which, is our responsibility huge?

But that part is... definitely gonna be fun.

Yumi: Because we can see smiles from everyone.

Staff: The performance of the unit before you is about to be over! Please stand by!

Yuka: OK. Today, too, in order to see a lot of smiles from people...

Let's sing with all our heart!

Yumi / Riina: Yeah!

ED: Fall in Love

-Park-

Yuka: Does everyone bring your drink?

Well then, Producer-san, as the celebration for the success of fes, please lead the toast!

P: Cheers!

Yuka / Yumi / Riina: Cheers!

Kei / Chihiro: Cheers!

Kei: Um, it's late for asking this, but is it OK for me to participate this closing party?

Yumi: Of course. We're glad that you came!

It's a sure thing, since we got this success because everyone worked hard.

Chihiro: You even called me. Thank you.

Riina: For Chihiro-san, it's because you take care of us everytime.

Oh, is your job OK?

Chihiro: Yes. I precisely adjusted them.

Of course, I also adjusted Producer-san's as well, so please enjoy without care.

P: Thanks.

Riina: That's the famous assistant!

Yuka: We can have fun without care!

Nnn... Uhhh

the autumn wind feels good!

As expected of Yumi-san, you know some good places.

Riina: It's great to have a closing picnic in the park in autumn.

It's cool, and the scenery is beautiful.

Yumi: *giggles* That's a relief.

The sunlight is soft, and therefore I like to have picnic in this season♪

Riina: Speaking of that, this park always feels like this.

The place where we held the CD releasing campaign as well.

Yumi: That's right. What was that... "Heart-pumping! The date you admire"?

(* She refers to M@ster Season Drama CD Autumn)

Kei: What is that campaign about?

Yuka: Well, it's about everyone making autumn dating plan he or she longing for into drama, and perform in public.

We've played roles as boyfriend and girlfriend at that time.

(NTD: Oh no suddenly Deresute bug appeared)

Kei: Huh?! Boyfriend role for every idol...

I can't imagine how it feels like!

Riina: Everyone performed with their own style.

...Though I kinda don't wanna do that anymore.

Yumi: Really? I enjoyed it!

Riina-chan, too, made it through while complaining about it.

Riina: That's because it's a job...

Yuka: Riina-chan's boyfriend style is so fabulous!

...I wanna see that again!

Riina: Wait!

Kei: I'm curious, too!

Chihiro: Well then... As a special edition of the CD releasing campaign,

how about having everyone perform the drama here again? Producer-san.

P: Sounds good!

Yuka: What?! Having everyone, does that mean Yumi and I too?!

Riina: Well... if that's the case.

Yumi: Since it's everyone...

Of course Kei-san is in, too, right?

Kei: Huh?! For me, that's impossible! I'm not an idol, after all!

Riina: No, no, no. You said that this time we're working hard in 4, didn't you?

It's not rock if you're falling back-.

Yuka: Exactly! Rather than that, as a trainer, please show us some examples!

Kei: N, no...!

Riina: Um, we're all performing as boyfriend, then who's gonna be girlfriend?

Yumi: Hmmm... Ah, yes! I got an idea.

Producer-san, please help us out♪

P: OK! (Ok?...Yumi-san, this is brutal....)

Yuka: P, Producer-san is, g, girlfriend?!

Riina: What the heck, that sounds interesting!

Four men competing for Producer-ko-chan, is it like that?

Kei: Wha...

Chihiro: *giggles* Have you finished your talk?

Well then, please stand by!

Ready, ACTION♪

Yuka: You will be protected by me for life.

Yuka: You will be protected by me for life.

Riina: I'll keep singing for you.

Therefore... Please stay beside me listen to it for eternity.

The love song to you.

Yumi: I want to see your smile forever...

Yumi: I want to see your smile forever...

Like the flower of happiness blooming in your heart, would you like to live such days with me?

Kei: E, everyone is so great...

Yuka: Well, it's Kei-san's turn. Work hard!

Kei: Y, yes. Um, um...

Kei: Producer-san! Um...

I, I like you so much!

Yumi: ...Is that a normal confession?

Kei: Huh, Wait?! NO! It's an act!

Riina: Kei-san, you are bold!

Yuka: Somehow, that makes my heart pumping!

Chihiro: Producer-san, you're so popular.

Kei: Even Chihiro-san, too?

Please stop!!

Yuka / Riina / Yumi: *laughs*

Ben Shapiro Is Wrong About Rap - Duration: 19:12.

For many within the conservative movement, rap is a uniformly negative reflection of

the worst ills and excesses of society.

It romanticizing everything wrong with the way society is headed, and the more hardlined

who hold this view believe it isn't even music in the first place.

This line of reasoning is frequently and most notably echoed by the leading figure of the

conservative movement, Ben Shapiro.

Shapiro has commented on rap on a number of occasions, but he published an article that

neatly summarizes his position on this cultural force.

Titled 'Rap is Crap,' it's a phrase every conservative who reflexively mocks rap

has at one point thoughtlessly sputtered.

It's thoughtless not because there aren't respectable reasons to simply not like rap;

people dislike whole genres undeniably often, after all.

Think of the common statement "I love all music except country".

But disliking a form of music is much different than claiming that opinion is an absolute.

And similarly, not liking a genre doesn't make you racist, as many of Shapiro's leftist

critics idiotically claim.

In his piece, Shapiro holds up T.I. as a representative model of rap as a whole, but he's also prone

to purposely misinterpreting rap.

His analysis of Cardi B's music video for Bodak Yellow comes to mind.

Throughout, he's confused.

He mocks the ungrammatical nature of her lyrics, and he thinks that her being in a desert is

some sort of political statement on gender equality in Saudi Arabia rather than a randomly

exotic backdrop for her music.

This throw into doubt the sincerity of Shapiro's "takedown."

Is he genuinely convinced that people are reading into this music video that Cardi B

is holding up Saudi Arabia as a beacon of gender equality?

And though some interpret her song as a statement on feminism, it's doubtful that the artist

herself had thought that much into it.

In one breath, Shapiro scoffs at the seeming thoughtlessness of this kind of rap, and in

another he assigns political motivations where convenient.

His confusion doesn't end with Cardi B's sand dunes.

He pushes on, in reaction to another popular track, so very confused by Future's "where

ya ass was at?", well in-keeping with his rigid attention

to grammar.

You begin to wonder whether he's actually unable to translate Future's question into

plain English.

Shapiro likely knows what he means, but he's criticizing it for being ungrammatical.

That hardline way of thinking ignores that much of art eschews strict adherence to rules,

grammar, and reality under creative license.

The meaning, in spite of the lyrics' lack of grammar, remains intact.

Future is conveying something that, at its core, isn't essentially unconservative.

He's asking the question of where those near to him now were when he was working his

way up the ladder, harkening to the fact that his success had to be earned by he alone.

There are many ways to convey this sentiment, but isn't it more important that such messages

get across in the first place?

Language is a tool, not an end unto itself.

After all, it's doubtful that a single, basically intelligent person is going to start

ending their questions with prepositions and tossing in "your asses" just because a

rapper did.

At the same time, one can encourage young people to master the English language, while

enjoying rap as a simple form of exaggerated entertainment.

And it would be equally silly to mock or act confused while listening to jamaican dancehall

artists when they say "tings" instead of things.

His tendency to overthink rap and inject political motives that usually aren't there blinds

him to properly addressing both rap's flaws and its merits.

Say what you will about rap or any other genre for that matter, but if you approach it with

the mentality that it's bad in every way imaginable, it's no surprise when you're

unwilling to be receptive to it in every way.

Applying a political lens to everything is harmful, whether that comes from the feminist,

or racially-tinged corners of the radical left or the right.

It's perfectly fair to dislike most of a genre, but it is essential to understand its

appeal from a politically neutral standpoint.

Shapiro's "Rap is Crap" article followed rapper T.I.'s arrest for illegally owning

a variety of guns and suppressors.

But the gravest sin on the part of T.I. isn't his criminal extracurricular activities, but

instead the substance of his music.

That is the crux of the conservative mindset on rap.

The typical conservative thinking goes, not only are its performers frequently delinquent,

but they champion that style of living in their music.

And while it is accurate to say that the most popular contemporary artists today fall into

that camp, it fails to account for what drives general interest in this form of music.

It isn't motivated by a sincere desire to plunge into absurd volumes of strange women,

hit some liqs, or wear gold chains that stretch down as far as their sagging jeans.

This is especially not the motivation for the vast majority of the public who listen

to this music casually.

Given that it dependably tops the charts, if that were the case we would be seeing pandemic

bloodshed on the streets and uncontrollable domestic abuse (not to mention STDs galore).

Clearly, there is an unignorable entertainment factor that accounts for its eminent popularity,

and it's the same one that undergirds the scenes and plots from violent video games

and ridiculous movies.

It can almost be seen as absurd self-satire; for instance, when you see rappers talking

about having as many bitches on their dicks as they claim they do.

It's hard to believe conservatives are genuinely convinced this reflects any semblance of reality.

In fact, artists themselves acknowledge what they say in their records is often grossly

exaggerated or ridiculous.

Raps many and reoccurring feuds, for example, mirror performances like the WWE, which doesn't

exactly market itself as fake, but is scripted for the audience's entertainment.

Like WWE superstars, rappers love to ignite them and flex for the sake of driving public

interest, streams, and sales.

And most of their fans know it and the 10 year olds that don't inevitably find out

that it's all for show.

The act of overthinking the ridiculous lyrics found in the newest trap banger would be as

silly as condemning Dumb & Dumber for romanticizing stupidity or the WWE for romanticizing unrepentant

violence.

The WWE itself, for that matter, often found itself the target of such criticism.

It similarly faced backlash for negatively influencing youth, as if the WWE painted this

violence as something worthy of imitation.

Unfortunately for such critics, we'll see these elements of human nature play out in

virtually every medium of entertainment, because it's just that: a piece of human nature.

For these reasons, conservatives miss quite a bit when they point to the foolish actions

of someone like T.I. and suggest that this is the impression any sane listener will come

away with.

But not all conservatives think that the music of T.I. and others is going to have some sweeping

impact on the culture, but rather that it will impact vulnerable minority communities.

Liam Julian of National Review, for example, writes "Hip-hop does not, for instance,

play a big role in the lives of most affluent kids, who may just listen to rap while traveling

to and from school, or at weekend parties, or while playing sports.

This group of young Americans does not see truth in hip-hop's messages nor strive to

emulate its "lifestyle" … Sadly, the same cannot be said of lots of poor, black

kids.

For these young Americans, hip-hop's lyrics are too often real reflections of life; too

often they come to embody goals, and aspirations.

The public, to its immense discredit, is less honest than it should be about rap's pernicious

influence."

But even accepting that this is true, does the problem lie with the medium or the culture

itself?

After all, when someone falls prey to video game addiction, is the fault with the video

game developers or the addict himself?

On those grounds, you would make the same and largely discredited case that the Nicholas

Cruzs of the world will be inspired by the violent imagery in video games to carry out

their deadly, vengeance fueled acts.

You can hardly blame the industry as a whole when people attempt to act out whatever form

of entertainment they're consuming in extreme ways even while the overwhelming majority

of others are able to do so and go about their lives happily and healthily.

More pressingly, if you do, what is the solution?

The only apparent one is to demonize a type of entertainment that is otherwise enjoyed

by the bulk of people for not only innocent, but lighthearted reasons.

Critics of rap like Liam Julian of National Review are also mistaken to claim that the

genre one dimensionally glorifies a lifestyle of degeneracy and violence.

Even the artist he cites, T.I., in one of his most successful tracks ever, Dead and

Gone, speaks of this "lifestyle" in dark and decidedly unromantic terms:

Never mind that now, you lucky to be alive, Just think it all started you, fussin' with

three guys Now ya pride in the way, but ya pride is the

way you Could fuck around, get shot die any day

Niggas die, every day all over Bull shit

No more stress, now I'm straight, Now I get it now I take time to think,

Before I make mistakes, just for my family's sake

That part of me left yesterday, the heart of me is strong today

No regrets I'm blessed to say, the old me dead and gone away.

In the same way, the idea that rap simply glorifies misogyny also reveals a lack of

familiarity with even the genre's most popular tracks.

Take for instance the chart topping "Violent Crimes" off of Kanye West's newest album:

ye.

Niggas is savage, niggas is monsters Niggas is pimps, niggas is players

'Til niggas have daughters, now they precautious Father forgive me, I'm scared of the karma

'Cause now I see women as somethin' to nurture Not somethin' to conquer

I pray your body's draped more like mine and not like your mommy's

Just bein' salty, but niggas is nuts And I am a nigga, I know what they want

Moving beyond the fact that rap is not nearly as thoughtless or decadent as its critics

believe, by focusing solely on the excesses of rap, they miss a key part of rap's role

in the culture.

Although it has its elements, like Kendrick Lamar, who seek to outsource blame to the

police or white people for their conditions, there is a much more potent strain that celebrates

self-determination and grit.

Where virtually every other industry of mainstream entertainment and media has cloaked itself

in contempt for our capitalist system, the overwhelming majority of rappers celebrate

their hard-won successes.

In doing so, they offer a message of inspiration to those who otherwise would only hear that

their lack of success is because they're being denied something by an oppressive other.

This is the only cultural force that serves as a rare voice of optimism in an increasingly

pessimistic world.

It, unlike any other, champions the virtue of self-earned success.

A$AP Rocky - Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2 I ain't never lookin' for no handouts Broke

ass niggas never helpin' but they hands out Devestated

At times I thought we'd never make it But now we on our way to greatness

And all that ever took was patience I-I-I-I used to feel so devastated

At times I thought we'd never make it, yeah But now we on our way to greatness

And all that ever took was patience Okay, just getting better each day

Stacking that cheddar, cheese cake Looking up to the Lord, we pray

Trying to be my best each day Until I'm laid to rest we lay, yeah

'Til the time being we lit Hoping I don't let it get all in my head

I don't need money just to say that I'm rich 3.

Drake - Scholarship I wake up, pray every morning These demons,

they callin' my soul I said fuck all of you hoes I'm ballin' outta control I'm ballin'

outta control If I can give everything back to you All this passion I got, all I ever

needed For me to move on and succeed For me to move on and succeed Jealousy, envy and

greed Too much of that shit I don't need it

Naturally, conservatives look at the largely leftist politics of rap artists and think

that that must be entirely what the philosophy beneath their lyrics is saying.

When in fact, even the most vocal and angry leftists, such as the now-infamous Eminem,

have passionately expressed important conservative values--weird as it may sound.

A solid example would be this line from his track Beautiful:

Nobody asked for life to deal us With these bullshit hands we're dealt

We gotta take these cards ourselves And flip 'em, don't expect no help

Now, I could've either just sat on my ass And pissed and moaned

Or take this situation in which I'm placed in

And get up and get my own

In another track, legendary Southern rapper Gucci Mane represents the seemingly ignored

strain of rap that reflects a deep ability to identify faults and fix them.

A message that is much needed within the communities Liam Julian is worried about.

Sometimes I think about my past, it make me start tripping

I was gifted with a talent that was god-given But I was so hard-headed I would not listen

Sometimes I sit and I reflect about that cold prison

And doin' pull-ups with a nigga got a life sentence

They gave my nigga Grant life, he only gained on me

Five years later, how we in the same room?

You go to jail, that's when you see who really love you

I don't think nobody love me like my auntie Jean do

But I forgive, I been forgiven, I hold grudges too

I'm just a work in progress, I'm not even through

But I forgive, I been forgiven, I hold grudges too

I'm just a work in progress, I'm not even through

This is to say that not only can rap be defended against its negative criticisms, but it can

be defended on positive grounds as well.

Crudeness doesn't negate meaning or value, and oftentimes it doesn't end there.

Misleadingly, it can seem as though rap is one dimensionally celebrating sexual hedonism

and violence that conservatives are right to detest.

But all isn't as it appears.

If you looked at Kanye West's "Power" unthinkingly, for example, you could be excused

for coming away with the impression that it's merely an anthem for reckless indulgence.

What this piece really explores is a much more sober, and self-conflicted take on the

perils of power.

This is why the Sword of Damocles lingers over Kanye's head in its music video, even

though he's surrounded by models and precious metals.

West compacts a wide array of artistic and even philosophical meaning in what amounts

to a supremely thoughtful piece of music.

Mr. West's video and lyrics are inspired by Roman Philosopher Cicero's meditation

on Damocles to illustrate how captivating grand wealth and power might seem on the surface,

but how often forgotten is the responsibility that comes with it.

This is a theme Kanye's song draws upon in a way that directly butts heads with the

kind of lavish and superficial rap conservatives point to in their wholesale rejection of the

genre.

Where what is frequently depicted as without consequence and sheerly ecstatic, Kanye offers

us a much starker, serious glimpse into that world.

One that ends in utter despair, peppered with contemplations of suicide, which he ultimately

surrenders to.

The chorus goes: "The clock's ticking, I just count the hours Stop tripping, I'm

tripping off the power", which morphs in the latter act of the song into "I'm tripping

off the powder."

Powder is, of course, cocaine.

The parallel he's drawing is a fitting one: power produces an illusory and short-lived

ecstasy, and an ultimately self-destructive one at that.

In a way more mature than conservatives would expect, the artist isn't celebrating vapid

money-making or influence or drugs, but recognizing its inherently toxic and fleeting nature.

In a later verse, Kanye raps:

At the end of the day, god damn it I'm killing this shit

I know damn well y'all feeling this shit I don't need your pussy, bitch, I'm on

my own dick I ain't gotta power trip, who you going

home with?

How 'Ye doing?

I'm surviving I was drinking earlier, now I'm driving

Where the bad bitches, huh?

Where you hiding?

I got the power to make your life so exciting So excit-, (suicide-, so excit-, (suicide)-"

(suicide)

The first couple lines might seem characteristic of the bravado of stereotypical rap, but it

transitions into something much more self-aware.

The highs of fame and yes, power, are rife with pitfalls, and Kanye manages to express

its folly through the medium of rap.

Kanye goes from being "on his own dick" to merely "surviving."

He then engages in one of the most reckless acts imaginable, drunk driving, culminating

in a crash--where the word "exciting" morphs into "suicide."

Is this not possibly at the heart of what drives so much of the exaggerated peacocking

in rap?

This, of course, is just one example of how and where rap is not just music, but incredibly

meaningful music if you take the time to appreciate and understand what its artists are saying.

Which isn't to say that they're perfect, and they frequently make utterly foolish blunders.

The reality is that it's incredibly meaningful for more than purely indulgent reasons, which

must also be seen.

A central criticism of Shapiro's is that, as a classically trained musician, rap isn't

music.

He makes this case on what can be generously described as faulty grounds.

In the track just cited, after all, Kanye draws upon a wide array of musical traditions

and genres.

From rock to, yes, C Minor, this song serves as a case study that rap is a legitimate form

of music.

The reservation of C Minor to depict a turbulent, heroic struggle, for instance, is a classical

tradition originating with Beethoven's Symphony #5.

This tradition has been adhered to by many classical composers ranging from Dmitri Shostakovich

String Quartet No. 8. to Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection."

Beyond that, his stirring mixture of rap, rock, and 70s classics in such a harmonious

fusion can hardly be described as anything but music.

The fact that the artist reworked one of his largest hits, Stronger, 75 times with 8 different

engineers and eleven different mix engineers from around the world reflects the kind of

devotion and consideration that often goes into this kind of, yes, music.

Sneering elitism of this sort only serves to cripple conservatives' ability to penetrate

the broader culture.

Defiantly blinding yourself to the virtues and complexity of something like rap does

that mission a disservice, and hopefully skeptics may be able to take a more thoughtful look

at all forms of legitimate art beyond slogans such as "Rap is Crap."
