that come to visit its beautiful beaches

and witness its wonderful landscapes

and that's why I brought you here

the fifth province of Costa Rica

which has a lot to offer

15 days to begin the journey

Here in Avellanas beach I feel lucky

that I had the opportunity to coexist with the local people

which taught me a lot about their lifestyle

I've learned about how people is concerned about the fact that

Costa Rican tourist are the ones that mainly through garbage on the beaches

and not the foreigners ( as many think)

I believe that the best way to truly feel a place is through its people

and that's why I am here.

In Avellanas beach I went to the bridge to take pictures and a video

I also had the chance to another beach called Callejones

where there were some interesting rock formations

We went to Juquillal beach, where I actually was there in 2014

We saw some people passing some sand for the turtles (eegs )

since they have some sort of centre where

they take care of the eggs and then realese the turtles

and I remembered that I had been when I attended UWC

And I thought it was a bit nostalgic

Because it brought me a lot of memories

decently one of the most beautiful sunsets that I've seen

and I hope I'll get to see more interesting stuff

Dude, I just discovered warm water

We're done at Conchal beach

now we're heading beck to Santa Cruz

where I've been staying

and who knows where we will be heading to

Let's continue

despite of its tourist development

Guanacaste is still considered of the most conservative provinces in Costa Rica

At the same time this territory is full of Customs and traditions

that with not doubt catch the attention of not only of foreigners

but also other Costa Ricans around the country

During my time here I realised that

the best way to understand this province is

through its people

while trying to see their culture interns of their context

and not through mine

So Maria could get to see the bridge

I think she through herself into the water

the mangrove had dried

but forward there's the part that's still alive

I think this part is beautiful

because it's a bit nostalgic

after this we're going to Cerro Pelado (Pealed Hill lol )

to see if we survive the hike

This waterfall and Cerro pelado are located

in the central part of the province

so you get a different perspective, not only the Pacific coast

Coming to the Llanos de Cortez waterfalls

I think that it gives us a different view of Guanacaste

Generally people think only about the beaches of the pacific and

forget that it is a huge province

with extraordinary landscapes like these ones

so I've already prepped my nails I used the Chiara sky tip system check that out

if you don't know what that is um and here I'm just applying a gel base coat

very exciting stuff don't worry about that finger there with that red spot I

don't have some weird fungus infection it's just the previous red that I had on

that I couldn't be bothered lazy ass bitch okay so now in nuking for one

minute here we are moving along quickly to black caviar

this is the brand color me pretty I've been really happy with their colors I've

just tried them they're Australian as well so super happy to support an

Australian brand and I'm just putting on the first coat I fast-forwarded it cuz

like this is boring as shit who wants to see someone paint their nails

fast forward gets the fun part okay so there we go it's on

yep's done I wish it took that long in real time okay nuking again for another

minute yay look how shiny it is and we're going to repeat the process

again yes people two coats so there we go BAM there's a second coat nuke it

again one minute hey now up to the fun part so I bought this you've got blue

metallic foil for a buck on ebay I'm using now polish remover I didn't know

you have to do this actually to wipe off the backside of the foil see how it

changes how cool is that if you try to do this technique and don't do this step

it won't work don't do that so wipe it off keep wiping good oh my god why did I

stay so long on that anyway now I'm folding the foil on the silver pot you

think you want to do it on the other side but don't that won't work at all

I won't work so folded it in half and now I'm just dabbing it on my nail I

will say the UV gel polish that I use leaves a sticky residue on the nail

normally if you wipe that off with like alcohol it goes away but I've left that

on so the nail is sticky don't touch it because you'll leave your fingerprint

but that is why the foil is adhering in lovely weed patterns look at that it

took off the foil I find that so interesting yes so it's sticking to it

now we're moving on to the economy pretty velvet topcoat oh is this too

fast for you guys I'm sorry this is like really fast you Tory painting that shit

on really quickly so that's going to act as my topcoat but it's going to be matte

so see how shiny it is at the moment kind of regret making it matte it looks

like pretty nuking and again oh my god I can't keep up with inspiration here we

are using some alcohol and I'm just wiping it off wiping that layer off and

it's this is this is witchcraft I do not understand how this works

I don't want to know it's beyond my little brain capacity here but see how

it's gloss and when I use the alcohol after I've nuked it for a minute so it's

dry and everything it turns to matte look at that look do you see it I'm

gonna give you a close-up in a second it just it blows my mind can we talk about

my rings for a second there by kill star and brogue and wolf look at that shit

it's turning matte bye-bye gloss okay I should have fast

forwarded this hurry up I'm bored next okay so look at the difference look at

that look look people right one is gloss the left one is matte that just that

does my head in there we go there's a really quick tutorial there actually

yeah I took me like two and a half hours but you get it in four minutes aren't

you lucky because I love you guys so yeah pretty happy with the end result
