so hey everybody today I have a new little haul for you and before I get
into this so let me just show you how it came about to pick this brand so um I
was gonna do a haul at Torrid today but I'm an idiot
because I forgot to put my SD card in my camera so all I have is my phone it's
almost out of battery and I was like what am I gonna do and I was like I know
what I'm gonna go to Walmart because you guys always ask for Walmart
harl haul can't say that word a Walmart haul I
never do them because I just don't live near a Walmart and I find shopping
online at Walmart hard because I'm not familiar with it so I was like screw it
I'm going to Walmart so I'm sitting in the Walmart parking lot I'm gonna go in
there and I'm gonna give myself a challenge I want to spend around $100
and see how much magic I can get so come along I'm actually not gonna film inside
the store because my phone is legit about to die but we'll see
so guys well light is really bright so I'm like yeah but I just went into
Walmart and I picked out items for a hundred dollars and I was legitimately
shocked in the number of things I got and the quality of things I got so I'm
so excited to run home and try them on for you before we jump into the haul I
wanted to remind you guys that I have finished my book and you can pre-order
it I put a link to pre-order that book down below it's called a life full of
glitter and it's a guide to living a more positive lifestyle building towards
self-acceptance and confidence so now you know I'm doing a Walmart haul I am
like super impressed with what I was able to get for a hundred bucks
one thing I will note is some of these items were on sale and I don't know if
they're on sale online if you're looking for a bargain going into the store
itself is sometimes a huge opportunity because often times items are marked
down more in store than they are on site and the reason for that is simple when
you're in a store every space equals dollars right and if an item is no
longer relevant to the season or whatever it might be it has a lower
dollar value so they're trying to move it out and to move it out they often
reduce prices well below what they would online so there's one item in here that
I'm pretty sure is more expensive online but was super cheap at my local Walmart
well my local Walmart my parents local
Walmart because I'm here visiting them in Ohio which is why I have this weird
background I will let you know that I am in a random room in my house which
is basically my parents junk room so there's crap everywhere so welcome to
reality I don't have anywhere else to film let's jump into what I got one last
thing before we get into the haul um I made an executive decision and I
filmed oh there is a spot on my camera clearly I've got my life together um
made an executive decision indoors the light was really fading so this is our
first outdoor try on next neighbors listen to me sing if my dad was here he
would yell at me and be like the neighbors and I'm like the neighbors
love me everyone loves me I'm kidding I'm kidding
go team there's data the first one I got was actually not in the plus section but
came in plus sizes it's from a band called time and tru and it is this
adorable green jumpsuit with the tie now I've recently committed myself to loving
all things jumpsuits for ever and ever amen and I saw this one and it's just
the style I like easy to put on easy to take off nice little tie to accentuate
the waist and then on larger leg at the bottom which is definitely more in the
season than the fitted jumpsuits we've seen in past seasons this jumpsuit cost
$16 and 94 cents super bargain now I'm trying to find the tag of what it's
made of and it's a mystery there's no tag so I'm
gonna guess polyester and spandex because that's just like the guess that you make
but it's not super stretchy and it's not super elasticky but it does have some
give to it so I'm not a huge fan of this romper I feel like it's like too short
here I feel like this is really pulling height wise not width wise but like up
and down and I feel like there's a high a very high potential for camel toe
which is my greatest fear when wearing a jumpsuit so this is not for me however
if you're shorter it probably would work great for you
next two items I got are really an homage to my teenage self
I love sweat pants and there are multiple periods in my life where I have reverted
to just wearing sweatpants sometimes it's been like a statement like screw
you I don't have to dress nice i'ma wear sweatpants in fact I did that in college
I wore sweatpants for like four months straight like not even just sweatpants
but full sweat suits in pastel colors they were tacky but amazing and I
found these sweatpants they're from Terra and Sky and they're just a
standard sweatpants with some nice pockets that come down to that lovely
elasticized bottom cuff the inside is ridiculously soft which I super pumped
about these cost lookin for the price tag um these were hmm I can't figure out
exactly how much they were but I believe they were something along the lines of
like six dollars like that cheap and they're they look really comfy
so these pants are definitely better for an Apple shape I'm feeling like the top
part like the elastic here is just not strong enough to stay up on me also I'm
noticing they're a little low here in the back they're not terrible but low
enough that I wouldn't buy them personally but that's just cuz they're
not right for my body shape constructionwise they're awesome and
they are super comfortable it's just again the waist is not right for my
shape of body but if you are an apple this might work out awesome for you to go
along with this sweat suit theme bam I got myself a little zip up Hoodie in the
same color as the sweat pants cuz you know your girl's gotta coordinate
this is made of a slightly lighter material than the sweat pants the sweat
pants are definitely like a thick sweat pants sweat pant this is like a light sweat
pant soft but not as soft as the pants we have a standard cuff down at the
bottom some nice big pockets and then I love this kind of seam down the front
just add a little bit of interest to the jumpsuit to the jumpsuit
not jumpsuit just to add a little bit of insert just add a little bit of interest
to this hooded sweatshirt and then you know that Zoop
what I like it's a long line hooded sweatshirt so it's not short and cropped
which is a lot of the more stylish more in vogue sweatshirts are but I just love
a big-ass hooded sweatshirt sometimes like sometimes I just want to look like
I'm doing the walk of shame and I took my man sweatshirt
that's what this is that's the aesthetic this shirt brings and I'm here for it
it's a look actually no it's a lifestyle so the sweat top is legit I like it cuz
it's a little bit lighter weight then the bottoms that go with it which I also
have on right now and I like that it's long I feel like a lot of hoodies cut
like right here because it's like trendy to be cropped but in the winner I want
something that literally covers the break between my pants and my shirt
because I don't want any cold air getting in there and this is perfect
this is the perfect length for that my favorite thing to do with a hooded
sweatshirt is this you're supposed to see my mouth but you can't this item I'm
super pumped about this is from Terra and Skye which is what pretty much
everything is except for that jumpsuit this was $17 and I think it is bananas
awesome it is a plaid button-down flannel and what I love is this
embroidery up here do you see that oh my god it's amazing legit even if I saw
this on any other site I would buy it like I am gonna wear this for real like
legit this is a super fashionable piece super shocked to see it at Walmart not
what I would expect is at Walmart and somebody had told me in my comments they were
like Walmart's uppin their game and this shirt this is proof of it because
this is a game changer this is a cool ass shirt I look like I'm going to first
milk a cow and then go to like a themed brunch shabby chic style and drink a lot
and then I have flowers just to remind everybody even though I'm a hard-working
American girl I still like to be fancy I'm obsessed with this shirt I think it
is so cute it is so different and the price point is bananas I just I love yellow so
much and I love this embroidery I think it makes it so different I'm I'm here for it
I can't even think I'm so gobsmacked by its beauty then I got some
jeggings mostly cuz I just want to see what they're like they do not feel like
denim I'll be honest these feel like cotton pants that's got some denim
coloring to it there are no pockets on the front there are
pockets on the back but I think these cost how much were you they were $14.97
so they're still pretty cheap and if they're comfortable I don't care if
they're real denim or not I more care how they fit and now they make me
feel so we'll see how that goes I like the gray color because I can
never find that in my size or in a cut that I really like so if they work out
awesome if they don't then $14 my life will not end ladies and gentlemen it
would not be a glitter and lazers haul if one item did not fit horrifically so this
pair of pants may look ok from the front I'm just gonna tuck my shirt in right
here that's where the pant comes this is where my butt ends so we're thinking maybe
about 3 inches there just about 3 inches of exposed butt in these pants so
they are our loser item of the week but everything else is great I mean for the
most part I really enjoyed this haul these pants not so much getting back on
the train of things that are super awesome and I'm shocked to see at
Walmart these dress pants first check out the plaid do you see it the amazing
plum and pink notes in those pants holla at your girl because these are
legitimately cool dress pants they are again a stretch pull on waist these
pockets though they do work you got some nice pocket action you can put your
hands in your pockets baby you got some
nice pocket action don't worry about your hands cuz they go in your pants
in the pockets but yeah for real these are really cute no back pockets cuz
all eyes be on your booty when this is there you don't want no distractions and yeah
super stretchy comfortable fabric too these will set you back a whopping 16
dollars and 84 cents oh you're breaking the bank on me Walmart joking I love
them I think they're super comfortable super stretchy I love the colors in the
plaid definitely on trend for the season and they're just great they're I'm
like literally kind of gobsmacked at how awesome this stuff is because it's a
great pair of pants it really is this is the item that I was shock and awe found
in the clearance section and I'm like girl why are you hanging out in the
clearance section you deserve to be center stage this is an adorable little
romper it has a smocked waist to kind of accentuate there and what I like here is
they have this tab so you can unsnap it to like get it on and then snap it so it
stays put this is the most convenient way to do
this type of neckline with a romper everybody else tries to put all these
buttons and fastening things into in there that don't need to be there just
give me a little snappy for some modesty and we all good we are all good I love
the color it's kind of like a viscose fabric looking at it it is unlined so
we'll see how that looks from a see-through perspective but I just Oh
amazing and for five dollars I can do a lot to make this work and I'm pumped so I
am totally and completely obsessed with this romper the first thing I did it I
got it I was like Sheri Sheri Sheri's my stepmom I was like you have got to
check this out and I was like I got this for $5.00
it's so cute it fits me so well and I did like a full rundown of why I love it and
of course she didn't really care but I did and that's what matters rounding up
the end of our Walmart hundred dollar haul is a soft jersey dress
in this amazing floral print again that looks fancy this looks expensive it is
comfortable it is soft it's got some nice lacing details here at the neck for
just a little bit of tszuj to it and then you can throw like a cute cardigan
over it it is gonna be on the shorter side of things but like everything short
I mean I'm tall however I just saw this and I was like oh it's so cute and then
I looked at the price tag and it was $11 holla I couldn't believe it I was like
this this exact dress would set me back like $60 from loft so I absolutely
love the print on this dress I'm like obsessed with it I wish it was like I
always say a little bit longer this is a tall girl problem but overall it's super
comfortable and I think I could pull it off anyway with like a pair of leggings
and like a long duster cardigan for fall that said if you're shorter as the
theme of all my hauls seem to be this will probably be the ideal length and be
magical for you so short girls checkout Walmart my mind was blown today at
Walmart I was sitting there and I was going you know like this is a legitimate
place to shop for fashion yes you might have to work a little harder to
construct outfits yes there's not as many design styles as there are at other
stores but what is available is solid the construction is good the fabrics are
what you would expect for this price point in fact better than some of the
brands I paid more for and we always talk about like what's the best place to
buy really really cheap affordable but good decent plus-sized clothing and my
hands really at Walmart now because for $100 I got about six looks and I can't
really think of anywhere else I'd be able to do that and like I'm kind of
having a moment because what I thought would be there and I have done work with
Walmart before and I thought it was like oh here's a couple cute things they have
but when I walked in there I legitimately liked 90% of it was there I
narrowed it down to things that I personally want to wear but I was really
shocked and I believe that they are really trying to offer more fashion for
plus-sized women and I like I'm here for it that's why I wanted
to give this a try because it's exciting to see such nice detailed clothing
available to someone who maybe doesn't have as large a budget so with that guys
