What's causing this change in a company like Orvis?

Teens! Millennials!

Dude Perfect with their younger audience behind their backs,

put out a fishing product and at ICAST 2018 they were best in their class.

Orvis where are you at? Where's your award this year? Oooh, that one stings.

so young people are dominating video traffic, social media,

and the fishing industry is trying to adapt.

For example, love them or hate them,

The Googan Squad just released a line of lures and just immediately sold out.

... it actually comes with Slaunch Sauce, with our scent, there's already scent in this thing...

That isn't slaunch sauce that you're smelling there buddy,

That is the smell of cash, that is ludicrous wealth and success, god bless you.

By the way if a Googan Bait is used by you googans,

Does that mean jerk baits are used by jerks?

We should name everything after the type of person who them.

We could have, jock baits, nerd baits, hippie baits!

Why I opened a Patreon | #YurikoTiger - Duration: 12:10.

Hello little tigers and welcome back to my channel!

Today I'm going to talk about something you've been requesting for six months:

Why did you open a Patreon?

It wasn't because of my boobs

because everyone automatically thinks Patreon = boobs

and they forget

what the real purpose of this site is

and, most importantly, for what you use it.

I don't only have Patreon. I've been on Ko-Fi for a long time too

which is also easier to manage

It might look similar to Patreon but it really isn't because

on Ko-Fi you donate money and get nothing in return

It's something like: "there you go Yuriko, today I have five euros to spend so I'm giving them to you so that I can offer you a virtual coffee".

And in reality I often use those money to get myself a coffe

(because yes, a coffe is five euros here).

Sometimes people also collect money to buy me gifts

or to buy stuff from my amazon wishlist

and many things...

Unfortunately I can't give you my address or my agency's address

because I might have problems with stalking.

Patreon, on the countrary, is a way bigger and more complex thing

that unfortunately is often associated with ero cosplay

Aka people who only cosplay

posing naked or they do erotism related stuff

sexy, pornographic, etc...

I personally think that there is nothing wrong with it

and I also wanted to remind you that men do it too

and there are many girls who pay money

to see a photoshopped bulge

So don't be shoked about the fact that some man pay to see some fake boobs

because I've seen way worse things on the other side that you humans can't understand.

Patreon was born as a support

a support site for various artists

so not only for cosplayers but also for musicians,

singers, people who are writing books

people who have a progect...

it's like a crowdfunding thing

But without a setting a goal

I, for example, only use Patreon to keep cosplaying

because except for my job

no one pays me to do cosplays

so it often becomes a big expense

that is hard to mantain as an hobby

I could easily stop cosplaying and focus on my job

But since I like it

and cosplay is ,fundamentally, also a part of me

and a part of what I've always wanted to create

I've decided that well: since I normally do photo shoots

with 100\20\30 photos

that I'll never post on social medias because they're too many

but someone might actually want them

someone might actually want to download them, print them, use them as their wallpaper

and I also don't have an online shop

so Patreon works a lot like it

because, unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to keep up with 100 orders doing everything by my own

and it's definetly not easy

especially if a person has another job.

I'm going nuts

Patreon, in the end, supports the artist

so if you support me on patreon

you'll help me to keep doing cosplays

and I will be able to rent a studio, pay for a photograph

pay for a photo editor

and also for high quality posters

and for all the things that

need to be printed in a shop

so that I can personally ship them to you

So it's a situation where you support me and get something in return

even if you don't spend 45 euros to recieve a 45 euros worth print

But compared to the ones I sell at cons

that I have to print in large quantities

(and I know that the majority of people who follow me are young and can't spend 15 euros for a picture)

I still try to separate the things you can get on my Patreon

from the regular ones I sell at cons

Patreon also has exclusivity

all the things I post on patreon can't be found anywhere else

This is why some people tought: "Uuh so you've got something to hide".

If you read my FAQ

You'll read that there actually are some more fan servicey things

And this was a pretty smart move because

if I uploaded that kind of content on Facebook people would have reported it

But by uploading it on Patreon

people have to pay for it and everyone is happy

It's the best thing in the world.

So yeah, there is a little bit of fan service

but only for the highest tiers

so not for the people who only want to see the monthly set

and it has something more

I think that If a girl was in the same situation of a boy she'd do the same thing

We all wanted to see Shuske's bulge and pecs

So as I've always said

It really depens on the character

in the sense that if a character is done in a certain way I'll do

2\3 fan service shots

But I'll definetly never do

and it also has never come to my mind

to cosplay the sexy version of a character because I fundamentally don't care about it

if someone else does it ok

but it's not something for me.

because I prefer to always stay in character

For example for the may's set I was cosplaying Panty and she's a huge whore

if you don't know this anime: "Panty and Stockings with Garterbelt" go watch it!

because it's hilarious... it looks like an anime from Cartoon Network

but in that case it's ok to have some fan service

that in the end it's not even that much

Because yeah, everything is exclusive on Patreon

but there is always that asshole

who tries to join my Patreon and then ask sfor his money back

and posts the exclusive content online to give me a bad image

I'd never upload something that might compromise

my image so it's usless that you try to do it

because you'll never, never see what you want to see

i don't do total nude\lingerie sets

I'm not planning on doing them at the moment ( I can't do them with my belly

I'm not gonna show my belly if I don't work my ass off at the gym first)

aside from that

I opened my Patreon so that I could continue doing more cosplays

to be able to afford some extra things

and as a way to support me in general

I'm going to make you a gift and also get something in return

Supporting someone on Patreon it's like a fan thing

because you can collect all the badges

you get an exclusive autographed poster

It's something that

if I had an idol

and my idol opened a fan club

(because I use Patreon as a fan club)

and I don't really call it Patreon, I call it Yuriko Tiger fan club

And instead of having to create a site

and the same system that me and my agency were trying to do

I thought: "well, it already exists

let's do it on Patreon, it's so easy."

I have to admit that, at first, I wasn't really convinced about Patreon

and I personally had a bad image of it too

Because it seems like you have to sell yourself

and the truth is that many girls like to do erotic content

so it's not really like selling yourself, it depends

on how you see things

There have been some people who were triggered by the fact that I've opened a Patreon

and i'd really like to remind them that I'm not getting any money from my mum and dad

so I have to get by completely by my own

and paying a rent in Tokyo

while legally being able to do only one job

because of my visa

it's not easy to keep doing something you're passionate about

and that is really expensive

Not to be shady but in Italy we're used to be like: "hey my friend is a photographer

so he's not gonna charge us any money

and we can go anywhere to take pictures because no one is gonna bother us".

Italy is really cool for these things

In Japan there is a huge system full of rules

you mustn't take picture where you're not allowed to

then you must pay and since I'm also a model there are even more things to sort out

I can guarantee you that

a set\ costume that you see in my photoshoots

might have been worth more than 800 euros

so, unfortunately, Patreon is the only support that i have at the moment

where I can directly recieve money without having to pay anything to my agency

you directly support my work

and it's something that I really apprecite

Even if you only choose to support me on Ko-Fi (it's still very much appreciated) *caffè*

So it's up to you

Do you want to support me? Thank you! *gimmie money*

You don't want to support me? That's fine

(You're still gonna buy my prints at a convention)

I'm kidding

I'd really recommend it if you're an artist and you want to try

but it also has complex rules

you'll have to pay taxes

and, most importantly, it can become a Job

I can guarantee you that Patreon is taking me up lots of time

and I had to change three times the rewards

because since I'm alone and I also have another job

and my Patreon is still not big enough to feed me OMGGG

But I have to admit that I've underestimated it

I didn't want to open it once

because it felt like i was begging for money

But then I thought: is it that bad? If I want to do something and I also have fans who

want to support me

spending their five euros for me

I'd be happy. And if i had an idol I'd do the same thing

*But I'm a piece of shit and I don't have it*

I'm my own idol

"Hey Yuriko how are you doing?" "I'm fantastic" "I know"

too bad that my self esteem considers myself as a piece of shit 24\7

I hope I've satisfied your curiosity

yeah, you might find a bit of fan service now and then

but only for the highest tiers and it's nothing that bad

You should also know that I use photoshop too

That i use bras\ push up bras

and that I sometimes like to see my butt especially when it's tight

after hitting the gym for a long time

And I also like to use those money for something useful

(I'd really love to be able to pay for an English class)

I'd also love to be able to pay for 200 things so that i could continue my studies

but unfortunately...

*damn*

So, if you'd like to join the Yuriko Tiger Fan Club

there it is! If you don't want to it's ok, I'm not forcing you and I don't hate you

and I know that the majority of my fans are young so I'm trying to keep the prices low

I don't want to make more toubles

so you don't have to support me just because I'm "special"

You just have to understand that who pays for a service

who supports has the priority

and it's something that we've also started doing at cons

Because, unfortunately, there were people who didn't know me

but taking a picture with me was convenient for them

so they'd form groups

of kids that I've never seen

just to reserve a spot

for other people who were waiting

So even at cons when there's lots of people

we had to separate the line: one for the people who pay

and another one for everyone else

All of this just to avoid

creating a mess

Therefore I apologize if i might be slow at ansering on Facebook

If you contact me on patreon I always try to answer within two days

I've had many things to do

and at first it was really hard for me to understand this site

But, at the moment, I can say that

it's really useful and I thank you a lot

for watching this video\ buying me a coffe on Ko-Fi

and for supporting me on Patreon (I still love you even if you don't)

See you <3 Let me know what you think

if you agree with me or not and why

Bye! See you!

5 Ways to Compare and Contrast in English - Duration: 12:22.

Hi, I'm Maria.

Welcome to Oxford Online English!

In this lesson, you can learn how to compare and contrast things in English.

When you compare two—or more—things, you need to talk about similarities and differences

between them.

This is a very global skill; it could be useful in spoken English, or in writing.

In this lesson, you'll learn different language you can use to talk about how similar or different

two things are.

We'll cover many different topics, to show you different ways to use your new language.

Let's start by seeing how you can talk about big differences.

Our topic for this section is travel.

So, you went to Vietnam and Laos, right?

What did you think?

They were both great, but totally different.

It's hard to compare them.

It's strange, really, because they're so close geographically, but in other ways

they're almost nothing alike.

What was the biggest difference?

I'd say the pace of life.

In Vietnam everything moves so much faster.

Laos is way more relaxed.

Which did you like better?

It's hard to say.

I liked them both, but for different reasons.

In this short dialogue, you saw five phrases you can use to talk about two things which

are very different.

Do you remember what they were?

If two things are very different, you can say:

They're totally different.

It's hard to compare them.

They're almost nothing alike.

These are fixed phrases, but you can adapt them to express different ideas.

For example:

They're so different.

It's impossible to compare them.

They're nothing alike.

You can also use a comparative adjective or adverb.

For example, in the dialogue, you heard:

Everything moves so much faster.

Laos is way more relaxed.

Before a comparative, you can add an intensifier like much, so much, or way to show that you're

talking about a big difference.

Using way is more conversational.

You can use these in many different situations; for example:

Lisbon is much cheaper than most European cities.

The museum was so much more interesting than I expected.

Shanghai is way bigger than anywhere I've been before.

There's a common mistake which English learners often make here with much and more.

If you need more, it's part of the comparative, like more interesting.

If you add much, it adds emphasis and shows that you're talking about a large difference.

Don't say things like:

Tokyo is much expensive than other Asian cities.

The food in Mexico was much more cheaper than in the States.

Can you correct these sentences?

Tokyo is much more expensive than other Asian cities.

The food in Mexico was much cheaper than in the States.

These are common mistakes, so be careful!

Now, let's see how you can talk about things which are very similar.

In this section, we're going to talk about describing people.

Have you met his brother?

Yeah!

They're so alike; I could hardly tell them apart!

I kept mixing up their names.

I know!

It's weird, right?

They could be twins.

It's funny because they look so similar, and they seem to have the same personality,

too.

Equally chatty, equally funny…

His brother is just as sarcastic as he is, too.

Yeah, true.

Again, you heard five phrases to describe people who are very similar.

Do you remember them?

If you want to find them yourself, you can go back and listen to the dialogue again.

Try to write them down.

If two people are very similar, you could say:

They're so alike.

I can hardly tell them apart.

They look so similar.

They're equally chatty.

He's just as sarcastic as his brother.

Of course, you can adapt these phrases; for example:

The way they talk is so similar.

They're equally funny.

She's just as impatient as her mother.

Here's a task for you: can you think of two people you know who are very similar?

Write down three sentences to describe them, using the language you just saw.

Pause the video and do it now!

You've seen how to use this language to talk about people, but you can use the same

phrases to talk about many different things; for example:

I can hardly tell these two wines apart.

I hated both cities; they're equally terrible.

Playing golf is just as boring as watching it.

Next, you're going to see how to talk about small differences.

Our topic for the next section?

Sports!

Good game, right?

Yeah, it was.

They played a bit better than last week, I thought.

Yup.

They were just a little sharper in those key moments.

I thought the keeper did slightly better, too.

He wasn't quite as hesitant as he was last week, and you could see the defence looked

more solid.

They looked good going forward, too.

They were just a touch faster moving the ball around.

True.

They weren't doing that last week.

Again, you heard five phrases to talk about small differences.

Can you remember them?

Again, you can review the dialogue and write them down if you want to find them yourself.

When talking about small differences, you can use a modifier plus a comparative adjective

or adverb, like this:

They played a bit better.

They were just a little sharper.

The keeper did slightly better.

They were a touch faster.

You can also use quite as… as… to show that two things are slightly different, like

this:

He wasn't quite as hesitant as he was last week.

In the dialogue, we were talking about a football match that we both saw, but you can use these

phrases and structures to talk about many different topics.

For example:

Taking the train will be a bit faster.

She's a little older than her husband.

This isn't quite as spicy as the last time you made it.

Let's look at one more topic.

In the next section, we're going to talk about food.

What did you think?

It was tasty, but the dishes didn't vary much.

Everything tasted much the same.

Yeah, I know what you mean.

Did you try the shrimp?

Yeah.

That was probably the best, but the main dishes were all pretty similar.

Tomato, sweet, slightly spicy…

Maybe we just didn't order the right things.

I don't think it's that.

I've been there before, and it was more or less like tonight.

It was a bit disappointing, especially for the price.

It was nearly as expensive as that Japanese place we went to for my birthday!

Yeah, I know.

Let's not go back.

Here, we were talking about a bad restaurant, where everything tasted almost the same.

Of course, talking about close similarities is similar to talking about minor differences.

The only difference is your focus.

If two things are slightly different, you can use different language depending on whether

you want to focus on the differences or on the similarities.

In this dialogue, you heard five phrases to describe slight similarities.

Can you remember them?

You heard:

The dishes didn't vary much.

Everything tasted much the same.

The main dishes were all pretty similar.

It was more or less like tonight.

It was nearly as expensive as that Japanese place we went to for my birthday.

Of course, you can adapt these phrases to talk about different things; for example:

Apartments here don't vary much.

You can do it today or tomorrow—it's much the same to me.

A lot of small towns in the UK are pretty similar.

There are different versions of rugby, but the basic idea is more or less the same.

My nephew is almost as tall as me now!

Now, you should know how to talk about differences and similarities in different ways.

Let's see how you can put everything you've learned together.

Of course, when you're speaking or writing naturally, you don't necessarily want to

talk about only big differences, or only similarities.

You may need to use a range of different language.

You're going to see two longer answers on different topics, using a range of language

from this lesson.

First, let's see an answer comparing two cities: Moscow and St Petersburg:

If you visit Russia, you should definitely visit both Moscow and St Petersburg.

They're completely different cities.

St Petersburg feels much more European than Moscow, while Moscow is a bit grittier, but

very interesting.

Things like accommodation, food, transport and so on are much the same in both places.

It's slightly easier to find a cheaper place to stay in St Petersburg, but Moscow has a

bit more variety when it comes to eating out.

To get around, take the metro, which is just as efficient in both cities.

Have you been to Moscow or St Petersburg?

What would you add to our description?

You can let us know in the comments!

Let's look at one more longer example.

This time, we're going to compare working at home with working in an office.

It's hard to compare working at home and working in an office.

People think that working at home would be much more relaxing, but that's not always

true.

You still have to do just as much work, so it can be equally stressful.

Of course, you have slightly more freedom to plan your own day, but you also have to

be a bit more responsible, because otherwise you end up wasting a lot of time.

In the end, you save time commuting, but most people waste a little more time, so you spend

Arsenal news: Arsene Wenger and Thierry Henry fallout details revealed - Duration: 3:17.

Wenger came in for plenty of criticism towards the end of his reign as Arsenal manager with the Frenchman leaving this summer after 22 years at the club

That included from Henry, who was working as a pundit with Sky Sports last season

Henry spent his whole Arsenal career under Wenger and is the Gunners' all-time leading goalscorer in the Premier League with 175

But that didn't stop him occasionally criticising his former manager, and that lead to a fallout according to former Arsenal striker Alan Smith

"No matter how big a legend you are — and Thierry is one of the biggest — you can't have a foot in both camps — and Thierry learned that," Smith told the Evening Standard

"As time went on towards the end of Arsene's tenure, it became impossible not to criticise him and the performances

"If you resisted it, you would lose all respect. I remember Arsene saying he wanted Thierry to stop working for Sky and commit to the youth team position

"I could well see his point. As reasonable and logical as Arsene is, it is still going to grate when your all-time leading scorer is having a go

"It wouldn't have been easy for all sides, but Thierry ended up staying at Sky before going off to work with Belgium

" Arsenal's Premier League season didn't get off to the best of starts having been beaten 2-0 by reigning champions Manchester City

And former Gunners defender Martin Keown believes new manager Unai Emery made a Wenger-esque mistake in that defeat

"Arsenal still haven't addressed the issues in midfield," Keown said. "The fans have been waiting for many years for a top quality, experienced central midfielder but against Manchester City, they started a 19-year-old from the French second division

Starting Matteo Guendouzi felt like something Arsene Wenger would do. "I am not criticising Guendouzi's performance

He gave a gallant display and Unai Emery clearly thought he showed enough fight and determination in pre-season to warrant starting over Lucas Torreira

"But City made life uncomfortable for Guendouzi at times and I did not feel it was the right game to expose such a young player

" Arsenal's next match sees them travel across London as they meet Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (5

30pm).

Arsenal news: Why Aubameyang should feel 'peeved' by Emery decision - EXCLUSIVE - Duration: 3:33.

That is the view of Arsenal legend Ian Wright. Aubameyang arrived at Arsenal in January as one of the most prolific goalscorers in European football and scored six goals in his first seven league games

But after Alexandre Lacazette returned to action after a knee injury in February, Arsene Wenger attempted to accommodate both strikers by moving Aubameyang to the left wing

Following the arrival of Emery as manager, whenever the two forwards played together in pre-season, Aubameyang was once again forced to play wide

Against Manchester City on Sunday, Emery opted to play Aubameyang as a lone striker but he struggled to make an impact while Lacazette's cameo off the bench livened up the team

Ahead of the London derby with Chelsea on Sunday, Emery is understood to be considering whether to play Aubameyang and Lacazette from the start at Stamford Bridge

And Wright told Express Sport that playing both players is a problem for the team

He said: "In the time Aubameyang is playing in now, they [managers] do that to players like him who are quick enough and have got the capabilities to play there

"But if I'm a goalscorer and I did my best in the middle, scoring 40 goals [a season] like at [Borussia] Dortmund, and then scoring at the rate he is at Arsenal, of course, I would be a little bit peeved if I was pushed out to the left because I want to be where the goals are going to be scored

"You look at Lacazette and Aubameyang, it is going to be difficult to get them both in the team without one of them having to play an unnatural game to them

" Emery has attempted to change Arsenal's style, in particular on the ball while in defence

And Wright says he wants Arsenal to keep trying to adapt to Emery's demands and play with intensity

He said: "I'd like to see how the playing out from the back is going to progress

I want to see how the pressing from the front is going to work. Are we going to press from the front? Try and win that ball back early and get the ball into people like Aubameyang to cause problems

"That's the things I want to see. If Emery believes the team that he chose on Sunday can do that against Chelsea I'm happy with that

"It doesn't bother me. I'm not really fussed about the personnel. "I'm looking for an attitude change and I'm looking for a change in actual intensity

" Ian Wright was speaking at the launch of the Premier League Interactive Watchface for TAG Heuer Connected Modular owners and the extension of TAG Heuer's partnership as Official Timekeeper of the Premier League

The TAG Heuer Premier League watchface is available on Google Play for Connected watch owners to download for free

What! No way! He is not like Kurt at all! I don't like him.

He's not like Kurt. Then great!

I'm serious. He's a male chavinist.

What do you think?

Will Max and Kurt ever collab again?

My child...

Yes Mummy...

Please call Sonika. I want her family doctor's contact number.

Not now.

From 3pm to 4pm, Madam watches Kurt's videos. She will not pick up her phone.

And I'll give you her family doctor's contact number.

Look at this. Your crush's new post!

He must be joking.

You're blinded by love!

Happy Birthday.

Oh! Thank you. What is in this?

Have you bought a gift for yourself or for me?

Of course for you. Now we will look like twins.

Will Kurt ever sing on Sam's channel?

You were right! See this...

What! You're chatting with him. And didn't even tell me!

Sorry... You were right!

Next time find a guy like Kurt!

Yes my mother...

I'm so stressed out!

There was such a lot of work in office today.

Meeting after meeting...

And the new campaign's work!

On top of this, my boss said, "You're not working properly."

It's okay, dear. Let it go.

I hate my life.

Don't say that!

Your Kurt says...

"Where's the light if there's no dark. Where's the flame if there's no spark."

Thanks dear!

Where will Kurt's next concert happen?

What happened?

That Rahul. What does he think of himself?

What did he do?

Today, he was swearing about Kurt. Also, he called me useless and what not!

How dare he! I will teach him a lesson.

I felt so bad...

Even I make fun of Kurt everyday. Do you feel bad every time I do that?

It's okay with you dear. Don't say that. But this Rahul...

You don't worry. I have that Rahul's ex's phone number. See what I do now!

Do you know why Kurt is called Kurt?

What?

Arey, tell me.

I don't know.

Because he's Kurteous...

Man Utd news: Sky Sports pundit makes bold Paul Pogba vs Jose Mourinho claim - Duration: 1:39.

That's the view of former Manchester City, Everton and England defender Joleon Lescott

The duo have had numerous bust-ups since Mourinho signed the World Cup winner from Juventus for £89m in 2016

Pogba has been criticised by his boss for various reasons and his form has veered between excellent and poor

The midfielder had an excellent World Cup with France and the pressure is now on Mourinho to get the same level of performance out of his player

But Lescott thinks if it came down to a choice between the 26-year-old star and the Portuguese manager, there would be only one winner

"It's just the way the game has gone," he said when asked why he thought Pogba was more important to United than Mourinho

"Paul Pogba is a phenomenal player, there's no doubt about that. "Obviously United's results at the moment are not as good as they'd like and that's down to Mourinho

don't think anyone's really questioning his tactical abilities and knowledge

"But as a man manager I don't think he's evolved enough for this new generation of players

"This new generation is different. They're more temperamental. "I think Mourinho's best ally this season could be Michael Carrick because Pogba respects him

Pogba and United will be back in action on Sunday when they face Brighton in the Premier League (4pm)
