Youtube daily report Jan 22 2019

Number one: I believe it after I am accused of sound in the form of rap, and I can see them raising their

finger. Number two: they are agonizing efforts in song form. Number three: tell me

what time, if I do it wrong or good. Insecurity takes over my being, but something tells me that

I did well to choose my way of life as a suicide on paper. I did not settle for recording

in a cassette I had the balls and in rhymes I was educated. My father wanted an architect.

I was born stubborn, I'm sorry. I continued with freestyle in my position at the end of the room, listening

to rap, without understanding anything. I liked the music I sampled, but I always listened to it and

imagined how to make it original with a musical character. As everything is done I started to recycle

drums of rap songs. Without thinking so much I started to create to this day.

Without thinking so much. To this day with love and passion. To this day my form

of crying, my sustenance and my charm.

Society demands a lot and delivers little. For example, social networks out of focus.

I still do not have a cabin or expensive machines, I just have my job and a couple of balls.

In Chile, dedicating oneself to music is difficult, starting with the haters and the double

faces, and, as if it will not be enough, they want to see you well but without touching anything of their slice.

As you can hear, it's been years since the beginning and I still do not see the end. They will have

to kill me if they want to hurt me because if I act well, I do not expect anything from the fans.

From El Texas, Maipú, to this day, collecting experience where I'm going, thanking

each gesture with my convoy, but do not get confused, this is not what I am.

I have the respect of pioneers, novices and grandparents. Some call me school, but it's not what

I want, it's just a consequence of living in war. I have danced with the ugly, the tide has been

calm and I still have songs to do, life to go. So the liars

tremble.

105 Carla & Susanne - Duration: 13:12.

Well, I kinda liked my own place better

What are you gonna do? There's water damage. Be glad Elisabeth had another room available.

== Yes, and I'm very grateful to you for that. == Oh, it was nothing! All I did was ask her.

But this bed is better!

You really think so?

Well, if you have doubts...

== No interest? == No time!

Says the same man who's spent months now living each day for the moment?

Believe it or not, I'm about to go to a job interview

And what kind of job is it?

Or is that a state secret?

The Lahnstein Bank is looking for an investment banker

This is a huge opportunity for me

Yeah, right, and the application will go through Carla von Lahnstein

Is that a problem for you?

Not at all! It's just that this comes as a bit of a surprise.

== Who wants to count their chickens before they're hatched? == Oh is that it?

When I heard about the position opening up, I immediately sent in my resume and references

And then... then Carla called me

How considerate!

Don't you think you're overdoing it a little with your antipathy?

What do you mean 'antipathy'?

Carla von Lahnstein matters nothing to me!

== Hello. == Oh!

== Sorry for being late. == No problem.

Good afternoon. What may I bring you?

== I'll take just a water for now, too, thanks. == Sure thing.

Well... this all looks quite good!

I hope the time I've taken off from working isn't a blemish on my record

If it is, then only against your previous employer. I can't believe they didn't hold on to you.

They tried

But precisely when you spend the entire day dealing with money, you need to take some time for the truly important things in life

From my perspective, there's every reason to hire you

Wonderful

I really have to ask myself, though, what Susanne is going to say

For reasons I cannot understand, she has some kind of problem with me

Well, I don't think you can call it a 'problem'

What is it then?

Susanne has only been back in Germany for a few weeks

She's begun a new life and she's had to basically start all over again

And what does that have to do with me?

My point exactly. Nothing. I think that will settle down with time.

== So, your water, here you go. == Thank you.

Actually, you should both get along just great - two such charming and intelligent women

Don't think you're going to get paid for making compliments at the bank

Too bad, right?

Why don't you come to the wedding party this evening? Susanne and you. My brother is getting married.

Isn't that a family affair?

Oh, no need for reticence. We Lahnsteins are actually more or less related to the Brandners!

Oh?... Then sure!

Great

And who knows, maybe Susanne and I can use this opportunity to get these senseless misunderstandings out of the way

Peter?

Tsk tsk tsk

Thomas?

Tsk tsk tsk tsk tsk

Ahh! Haha.

So, was your job interview successful, or are you simply happy to have it behind you?

== Both! - Uh, two sparkling wines. == Right away.

== You have the job?? == You can congratulate me.

Well, I never doubted YOU, but Carla...? Was she bitchy as usual?

On the contrary! It was one of the best job interviews I've ever had.

And not just because of the outcome

Well, then you were lucky

It wasn't necessarily about luck

I think that Carla is actually... very personable

Sadly, I can't corroborate that

Then you're about to have the opportunity to convince yourself otherwise

How's that? Am I supposed to appear at a job interview myself? No thanks!

She's invited us to Königsbrunn this evening

Me, too?

Yes! To her brother's wedding-eve party.

I see...

You think I'm going there alone?

Oh you know, a wedding party? I don't think I'm really interested.

Carla would be happy to get to know you a second time, so to speak

What's the point?

Why are you being so resistant?

== So... cheers! == Thank you. == Thank you.

I don't know what good it's supposed to do, but... fine, I'll go!

No, there is no program

Nice of you to come. Main thing is that you have fun.

Well, I guess you're right - I'm the only Lahnstein left who isn't married

Excuse me

If anyone needs a taxi, we'll call one. Otherwise, I'm going to ask you to wait at the top of the drive, okay?

== I don't think that-- == Susanne and Jens are with me!

Well now, that's certainly odd. They aren't on the guest list.

They're far too special for that

Hello. I'm really happy that you came.

And don't pay any attention to Ansgar. My brother loves to go around playing boss.

That Ansgar is really a character! This could get interesting!

Oh, as long as Carla's around, nothing can go wrong

== That's certainly a new tune! == She really is nicer than I thought!

Thank you for the compliment!

Hello. Come, let's start over from the beginning, shall we?

I'm Carla

Cheers!

Uh... Susanne!

Shall we go in? It's starting to get cold! Andi's already in there.

Yeah? Maybe your sister will dance with me!

Carla?!? She already blew you off!

But dancing should still be allowed!

== Ohhh!! Sorry! == No harm done!

Well...? So, what's he like?

I can't say yet

Awhh, come on! As lovestruck as you were just looking?!

Okay, he's uhm... wonderful! Open and honest. Exactly what I need.

== So, a real catch, hm? == What, you're leaving already?!

Yes, today was Cécile's birthday, and I wanted to at least share a toast with her

== Then give her my greetings, okay? == I will.

== Ah, from me too! == Yes, will do.

Okay! All right then... have a great evening.

First, a picture, please?

And... "cheeeese"!

Thank you!

== But now I really gotta... bye! == Bye! == Bye!

She's something else

And now you two!

Closer together

And... smiiiile!

Thanks, and now one more!

Okay...

Thanks!

I'm cold

== Oh, then go on inside! I'll be right there, okay? == Yeah.

Come

== Where has Leonard gone to? == No idea.

Well? Are you nervous?

And how! I can't stop picturing how starting tomorrow I will belong to a family with such an incredible tradition.

I can relate. My 'entrance' wasn't any better.

How did you settle in so quickly?

That wasn't so simple

So then... Here's to our finally getting to know each other from a better perspective, hm? Cheers.

== Cheers. == Cheers.

== Cheers. == Cheers.

Oh! Wasn't that my cellphone just now?

I didn't hear anything

Ah! There he is, finally. Excuse me, please.

I've danced enough for today

And now...?

Well... Let yourself be surprised

Hello! Can you drive me? Are you available?

== Yes. == Good!

== [Count Heartless lets marriage collapse] == You know how those papers exaggerate.

You can only believe a tenth of what's in them

In this case, unfortunately it's different. The press has understated things. It's all much, much worse.

Well, but it's only just happened!

You can't even imagine what's going at home!

I always hated math in school, too

Well, Lisa is still gonna have to complete her tests. And she hasn't actually been that bad in math before!

== Well, what's the reason then? == She just hasn't been able to concentrate.

Well yeah, it is difficult having to orient yourself again in a new country and a new school

That isn't the problem

== Love troubles? == Mhm.

Awh, the poor thing!

Forgive me, Ms. Schneider, can you come to the kitchen for a moment?

== Xavier is having a problem again. == Yes, I'll be right there.

So.. who has made the sweet girl so unhappy?

== That is somewhat complicated. == Ah...

== Well, in any event, she hasn't been as lucky as you. == How so?

Ooh, YOUR sweetheart is more reliable

Oh!

Ohhh, a beautiful rose, is that for me?

Oh, uh, how inconsiderate of me, but this is actually for Susanne

Thank you

It's going to be at least three days before the walls are dried out. Until then, I'm gonna have to stay in the pension.

Carla, but we've always been a team! You can't just leave me high and dry like this!

== "Team"...? You see me more as the goose that lays the golden eggs. == You know what...?!

Carla, Vanessa has already turned her back on me. You can't desert me now, too!

Bernd, I really have other worries right now! I have my family to be concerned about!

I thought I belonged to the family!

If you don't finally let up... then I'll simply have the marriage annulled and you won't see one cent!

You ungrate-- you...! You...

== Angelo, the check please. == Right away.

Hello! Jens, I'm glad you're here. Are you remembering the telephone conference...?

== With Waldorf and Stadler - 3 o'clock, no problem. Mhm. == Exactly.

Yeah, why don't we just share a taxi?

Couldn't you perhaps take us?

== We could also take my car. == Okay.

Here, keep the change

Thank you

== See you soon, okay? == Okay.

== All right, thanks, keep the change. == Thanks very much.

I'm really sorry my husband and I made such a scene just now

I have no idea what you're referring to

I don't think any divorces ever go smoothly, do they?

== Sorry, I have to go, bye. == Bye.

Divorce...

We'll assume, then, that this provision will be explicitly stated in Section 31?

Of course! We'll send the contracts for your review.

== Good! Do that. Goodbye. == Goodbye.

== Well, that went great! Thanks for your help. == Was my pleasure.

== Is that a secret signal? == No! I have something in my eye.

Let me see

Susanne!

== I hope she doesn't think we were making out?!! == I'm afraid she did, yes!

Hello, Susanne! How goes the taxi driving? Would you like some coffee?

Is it actually hard to get a taxi license?

You have to do some hitting the books. But why do you ask?

I need a job. My lovely spouse might be throwing me out without a cent.

That means your marriage is...

'Marriage'!?

Your coffee... here you go. I'm leaving now.

== Ciao. == Ciao!

== If that's what you want to call the farce. == I'm afraid I don't understand...

'Pseudo-marriage' would be more accurate

Yeah, as long as she needed me, I was good enough for her. But no sooner is it out that she...

Sorry!

Susanne, I think you totally misunderstood something

THE WORLD'S LARGEST ROTATING TRAM CAR | THINGS TO DO IN PALM SPRINGS | QUE HACER EN PALM SPRINGS - Duration: 11:16.

Located outside Palm Springs city and all the way to the top of San Jacinto mountain is Chino Canyon.

Through this canyon and all the way to the summit of the mountain goes the world's largest rotating tram car.

Welcome to Palm Springs Aerial Tramway.

That's one of the buses that transport you from the parking,

they give you a ride because the road is very steep.

You can always walk if you want.

So that will provide transportation for you.

There are several lots to park from here all the way to the entrance.

We made it up, at more than 8500ft of altitude.

Up here you will find a museum about nature and the Tramway's history.

You will also find 2 restaurants, one is a cafeteria and the other one a steakhouse.

The first thing you will find down there is the parking lots,

it cost $8, there are several lots, they will let you know which one is open, you can pay with card or cash.

Right after the parking you will take the bus to the tram station,

the price of the ticket is $25.99 and it will say at what time is your ride up to the summit.

You will get up here and now is time to explore.

We decided to go back to a healthy life and we're up here today to do this beautiful hiking trail

and walking on the snow makes it more difficult.

So I wanna show you the things that you need for hiking, here they are.

You need a map, compass, matches,

a jacket, sunglasses and first aid kit for any wound and good boots.

Naahhh, I'm kidding, you need all that for camping.

Here is one of the native animals from the area.

That one is a falcon.

You will also find Pepeto in this area.

Like I said before, this is San Jacinto mountain,

is part of the San Bernardino's state parks

and there are over 50 miles of hiking trails.

Let me tell you that just this trail up and down to reach the snow

is really hard, is a good workout already so

if you don't wanna go to the trails this part here is more than enough.

There is Mr. Wilson,

right behind us.

We're on the trails right now.

Like Irina said before, there are around 50 miles of hiking trails up here.

As a curiosity, the temperature up here is always

30 degrees colder than down there in the valley.

Due to that, any rain that falls up here during winter it becomes snow,

that is how we can have this white landscape.

Today the weather is nice, not that cold,

so we fell good and happy,

we haven't have to use our gloves, they are inside the backpack,

but the weather is so nice that we don't need the gloves.

and...

and...

and... that's it.

You guys be ready for a lot of blogs in the snow.

Because,

You know, when is summer, is the beach, when is snow, is snow.

If you are thinking about camping,

you have to be really careful because there are cougars up here,

mountain lions and you can be eaten.

There is a sing there saying that you need a map

and bring water, a lot because there is nothing around here

is just forest so be very careful and cautious.

So you need to know that the Tramway is open all year,

summer, winter, spring, everything, you can come to camp

or picnic in all the seasons.

It opens at 10am, the first tram up is at 10am

and the last tram down is at 8:30pm.

We've been here for a couple of hours already, hiking, taking photos, playing with the snow and doing videos for you,

So we're gonna go eat something now, is lunch time and we're hungry.

Like always, this is eating with Wilson and Irina.

We just arrived to Pines Cafe, there is the other restaurant.

You can eat in any of them so let's see what we can find.

Is lunch time, there are not healthy options up here, this is what we got

so let's eat it fast fast.

This is what I got and that's Wilson's.

That pizza is not mine, is his, I only have this one.

We were thinking now that here during night have to be a lot of wildlife activity

because look at this.

I don't know if you can see it but those are big footprints, from like a cougar and

they go all the way there.

But if you can see there are more little footprints.

Little ones like those little trails.

So I believe that the animal activity is crazy up here

wild animals, so scaryyyy.

They will come to eat you Wilson, no they will eat you, no you.

Is incredible that only a few minutes away we can enjoy this beautiful place full of snow

because as you know we live down there at the desert.

I hope you liked this blog.

Okay so we had lunch, we recover some energies after the hiking

so we're gonna wait for a chance to get a tram down

and this is the end of this blog.

Hope you enjoyed, don't forget to subscribe, give me a like and leave a comment and share.

We love you, until next video.

Byyeee.

Classical Musicians React: Hyukoh 'Citizen Kane' vs 'Our Place' - Duration: 16:39.

Elizabeth: There's only two chords in the verse. Henry: Yeah, it's cool. It's a good little vamp.

Oh!

Umu: So now you'll be reacting to the K-indie rock band called Hyukoh.

The first song you'll be reacting to is called 'Citizen Kane' and

was released on their 2018 album. The song warns that living in excess of anything can lead to unhappiness and harm.

Jason: The song questions

fast-paced living and serves as a reminder to

take things slowly.

Umu: And the album that this song is from contains recurring themes of rebellion, love, and happiness.

Henry: Three, two, one.

Lindsey: This is not moderation, we are movin'. Fiona: Oh, so it's fast-paced. So this is representing too fast.

Rachel: The angst.

Jarod: Na-na-na-na....It fits, man.

Henry: I dig like the surf-rock vibe. Elizabeth: Yes. Let's do parallel 5ths.

Rachel : It's like a whole different genre. Hugo: Yeah

Rachel: It's like almost alternative. Hugo: Yeah, I know. it's like a mixture of like,

hard rock and then sixties. Rachel: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

The beat isn't sixties. Hugo: Yeah. Rachel: The instrumentation and echo.

Isaac: (singing)

Kevin: I like the syncopation--duh-duh-duh.

Kevin: Half time--correct.

Fiona: Now I'm no longer going like this, I'm going like... Lindsey: Yeah.

Fiona: Let's just not talk when we react, let's just dance. This is how this makes me feel.

Now it's like... Lindsey: But then that scream, and then all of a sudden it comes back in super fast-paced. That is so awesome.

Rachel: That drummer's gonna die. Hugo: Very wall of sound. Rachel: Yeah, yeah, yeah. How do you....?

Kevin: I mean, it's not that harmonically, you know, crazy,

but it's just a solid song with a lot of good,

different sections.

Elizabeth: The like,

super-jammin drums and the very grungy

guitars and bass--it just makes me feel anxious.

Which is definitely a personal opinion.

Henry: Yeah. See, and I can understand why you feel that way, but like, it frees me.

Jarod: I has like,

like the quarter notes feels like it's driving, but yet slightly delayed. Does that make sense?

Collin: Yeah.

Jarod: It's really cool.

Stephen: I think the half time's really effective, because I feel like just because of what the drums are doing, it just,

how it feels more cut time. Seiji: Yeah. Stephen: I feel like if they didn't have a section like this--it almost allows you,

as a listener, to catch your breath.

Seiji: Yeah, it would be a little too much. Stephen: Otherwise I feel like yeah, too much. I'd be like, oh, my goodness. Seiji: Yeah, definitely too much.

Rachel: Oh, my God, the chorus is a lot.

Is this like, horns? It's more like everybody play now. Hugo: This is like, my blood pressure is increasing. Rachel: Chord, chord, chord, chord, chord, chord.

Yeah, it almost sounds like that thing that when you go like this when you're listening to music, like, with your ears, and it sounds like (distorted singing)

Lindsey: It just... Fiona: (singing)

it's so good.

Fiona: And the drums are persistent at the (imitating drums). Lindsey: Yeah.

Lindsey: Whoa. Fiona: That was like, the ????? at the end Lindsey: That was just...oh, my God.

Fiona: That was so cool. I think that really went with the message, like how it was like, pow, pow, pow!

Relentless--everything going so quickly, and then it like slowed down, and then there was a scream each time after the half time.

It was like, aaugh!--And it was like, back into that. Their guitarist is so good. Like, I loved the sound and the notes,

like Lindsey said. Lindsey: Can we just listen to that a couple more times and then just call it a day? I'd be happy.

Umu: Please sum up your thoughts and then explain maybe, why, to those who don't know how drum set works, Stephen: Sure. Umu: why that part is tiring.

Stephen: The drum set part is tiring just because like you hear the hi-hat going, like, (clapping),

like playing a lot of eighth notes,

so he's probably doing that with one hand. Which, like, if you do that for four minutes, like,

is tiring, just like, muscle-wise. Also, all the fills

he was doing were sixteenth notes, like, (mimicking drum). So I mean, just out of personal experience playing a song like that,

like, I used be in a rock band, my hands would hurt, just because you're also using bigger sticks, because you're playing with other

Instruments that are amplified. It's not like jazz, where most of the instruments are acoustic.

So because of that, and you're using larger sticks,

it just requires a lot more muscles from your hands and arms, which is just like gonna make you tired.

That's why like a lot of people in like hard rock and

heavy metal bands and stuff like that, if you look at the drummers, a good portion of them are like, legit ripped. Like, they're very

fit, cuz you need to be to play music like that.

Henry: That was great. I loved it. From like, a technical standpoint,

the drumming was awesome--super high energy. The bass playing was cool.

The format of the song was awesome.

I thought it was a perfect length for what it was. They didn't over saturate with words,

they allowed there to be like, instrumental sections that kind of like let it breathe, gave it a couple different colors, which was cool.

I thought it was awesome. And now for a totally different opinion.

Elizabeth: No, I mean like first someone who enjoys that kind of music, it's a gem. I tend to find like,

super-grungy music is just very stressful for me to listen to, for whatever reason.

Colin: I think there are bands that have done similar things.

I thought that the rhythm at the end actually, when the guy was soloing over it,

which was almost like a Celtic rhythm, that was kind of cool, actually.

I just, I listen to a lot of rock, and this doesn't seem like anything new or original,

except for maybe the rhythm at the end, and

maybe...The texture I thought was actually pretty solid. But like, they're obviously good musicians, they're all playing together,

the singer was good, the solo was fine, but like, ehhh... yeah, I didn't like it. Umu: Okay.

Isaac: Wow. The way that just makes you want to anticipate like, what they're gonna sing. The lyrics they were singing, it's like.

why are you...is it why are you rushing, taxi driver? Kenvin: Uh-huh.

Isaac: Yeah, it's like, just having that lyric line. And the way it changes, so like, you would just say it normally, and then later you

have layers, and then after it becomes like a chant, and it's so cool.

Jason: Next up is another one of their songs.

So this is one of the 2014 releases, called 'Our Place'.

Umu: 'Our Place' is a song about loneliness, and the singer wants someone special to hold them tight.

even though that person is out of reach and lives a completely different life.

Kevin: For real, though.

All right.

You go.

Isaac: Hugo, Hyukoh.

Rachel: Hey, hey.

It's almost funk.

Henry: Yeah! This is awesome. I love this.

Stephen: Weird progression, with like the bass line. Seiji: It is, it is. Parallel.

Henry: The drumming is so tight.

The bass playing is super-groovin'. Elizabeth: Yeah. Henry: Holy f*ck!

Elizabeth: That bass player is jammin'.

Kevin: He uses the same melody for two chords that are a tritone apart, which is pretty incredible.

Collin: I love how the bass keeps building.

Elizabeth: There's only like two chords in the verse. Henry: Yeah, it's cool. It's a good little vamp.

Oh!

Kevin: Now, these two chords are a major second apart, so it's a more back and forth, instead of that jarring, hopping around quality.

Fiona: I love the triplet motifs throughout this. Lindsey: I do too, and I like how they're having his voice coming with like--his

vocal rhythm is the same as what's happening in the drums, like they're together. Fiona: Yeah.

Lindsey: it's like rhythmic unison right there. Fiona: Oh, yeah, with the guitar, as well. Lindsey: Yeah.

Henry: This is like such interesting songwriting, Elizabeth: Yeah. Henry: cuz like,

every--I think I probably said this before--every turn

feels new, but familiar.

Henry: It's perfect. It's so valuable in pop music.

Kevin: Oh!

Kevin: So you get a smoother version of the tritone progression as well.

Almost octatonic stuff going on.

Ooh!

The song has its own logic, like it lands on an A major dominant seventh chord for some reason.

Rachel: Yeah, somebody needs to solo.

That's what it needs.

Okay, great.

Lindsey: This is cool because it's like,

total improvisation-sounding in the guitar, but then the drums are doing kind of like a marching band kind of thing. Fiona: It's militaristic. Lindsey: Yeah.

Military-like.

So it's like, that's very structured and the guitar is very not structured, going on at same time. Fiona: True.

Rachel: Like, the background parts are so rhythmically focused that it's repetitive, but it's interesting. Hugo: Um-hmm.

Rachel: (singing)

Hugo: (singing)

Rachel: I also like how his voice is mixed.

Fiona: The vocal melody here has the potential to sound optimistic,

and every time I kind of expect that, but every time it's like, na-na,

and then it doesn't go anywhere, it goes back down. Lindsey: It's like a little sigh. Fiona: It's like, whatever the situation is with this story,

it's not gonna work out. It's pretty pessimistic, overall. Lindsey: It's like things are going fine but then they're like kind of just (sigh).

Fiona: Yeah, it's like Mahler's sixth--like, devastation wins in the end.

Kevin: It is drifting away. It's drifting back and forth.

They're a big fan of the repeated hit chords. Rachel: Yep. I like this part.

Ay!

Again.

Hugo: Ooh!

Hugo: Just a lack of... Rachel: Yeah, he's got such a cool voice. Hugo: The lack of percussive instrumentation

is nice after having so much of it. Rachel: Yeah.

Rachel: Again, the guitars they use are super sixties-sounding in timbre. Hugo: Um-hmm.

Elizabeth: It's a long song.

Henry: I was just actually just gonna say, Elizabeth: Yeah. Henry: it's gettin' a little bit lengthy, but it's so good, like...

Elizabeth: Oh yeah, no, that's not a criticism. It's just like, they have more to say. I mean, I just played Mahler six, which is,

Henry: 90 minutes long, yeah Elizabeth: the last movement itself is half an hour.

Seiji: Oh, here we go.

Kevin: Mmm. A major.

Elizabeth: Let's emphasize the strong beats. Heck, yeah.

Henry: They're like...the way that they use melodies, the way that they used-- the song is over. Elizabeth: (singing)

Henry: The way that they used melodies to make dissonant harmonies sound consonant is so cool.

Because they were moving by tritone and it was just,

like super compelling, but also like, you could definitely see the beauty in something that rubs a little bit

weirdly on the ear. Elizabeth: Very interesting harmonically.

There really we're only like two chords in the whole piece, but like the variation, and rhythm, and tempo

really kept your interest, even with like a small amount of material.

So if you ever are writing a song with like one thing remains constant through the whole thing,

you have to vary the other aspects in order to keep it interesting, and they did that really well.

Collin: So Interesting.

Jarod: It's just like, there's some really interesting colors that are going on with like the chords. Collin: Definitely.

Jarod: The rhythm I did find to get a little repetitive towards the end, which was, I mean, probably did what they were going for.

I didn't think I don't think I necessarily bought into it as well,

but it's like they started to add textures and stuff towards the end to start to really build,

but I think I was already kinda like checked out. Collin: I would agree with that.

That's kind of a thing though, with this sort of music. Jarod: Yeah, that's what I figured. That's what I figured.

Collin: Yeah, but actually what they did that was interesting, whenever it became a little more complex, there was some interesting

like, really creative rhythms between the guitars and the bass, especially. The way the bass and guitars

communicated was especially unique. But there was one point where one of the guitars was muting, another was

(singing),

and then it was--I guess it had to be the bass--but he was also outlining the beat.

(snapping fingers)

That was good, I don't remember what the muting rhythm was,

but I actually thought their nuanced use of rhythm was good, because

most rock is not like that, and that was really good.

I also really liked ambient like, you know, blossoming of sound that happened. That was good.

Isaac: What a groove.

Kevin: The first riff we hear, and probably the one that appears the most, is very jagged, and it involves two dominant seventh chords Isaac: Um-hmm.

Kevin: that are a tritone apart. And

because of the tonal ambiguity, which means there's

not a clear key to what that section is, or the entire song as a matter of fact, I think this song is atonal.

I don't think the song has a key section at all. And that's what makes certain weird chords work

so well. And again, like I said, it feels like a

late DeBussy piece, in the way

it uses these dominant seventh chords, cuz he uses dominant seventh chords, and just planes around a lot.

It's a pretty long song, but it grabs your attention throughout. Isaac: Yeah.

Jason: And of the two songs, which one did you prefer? Henry: This one. Elizabeth: This one.

Henry: Although they were both fantastic. I just happen to like this one more.

Elizabeth: I felt like I hadn't heard something like this before.

Henry: Yeah. Sometimes with songs like, that are stylized in the way that the first one was, that sort of grungy, like sort of punk vibe,

it can almost feel like there's just a track of distortion, constantly, throughout the whole thing.

So like, what I really appreciated about this, is that it like breathed, you know. Elizabeth: That's true.

Stephen: I definitely liked the first one, 'Citizen Cane'. Seiji: That one was pretty awesome, yeah.

Stephen: And it was just like different, you know, like they developed their ideas more,

and the motifs that they did were very melodic.

It wasn't just stagnant, you know, it had more direction. And then like the contrast, like going double-time, super effective.

I thought that was a really great song. Like, they're very talented.

Kevin: The fact that I've had time to listen to both these songs, and

also catching, 'Citizen Kane' live, 'Citizen Kane' is a really cool song to hear

on first listen, but it definitely, the repetitive nature of it shows on repeat listens.

And I don't think it's one of your Hyukoh's strongest songs, while the other one is so inventive and

ssomehow it keeps your attention

longer. You're not sure what to feel when listening to it,

just because you don't know if it's major, if it's in minor, you're just kind of floating around in this weird limbo,

what they call unconscious dream space, to quote Inception a little bit. So,

I definitely prefer 'Our Place'. I definitely prefer 'Our Place', even though 'Citizen Cane' is an alt rock bop, for sure.

Display Google Sheets Data in Your Chatbot | C+I 24 - Duration: 3:48.

In this lesson, you'll learn how to retrieve information in Google Sheets

and display it in your chatbot. This is a scenario that we have created in the

previous lesson that can add or update a row in Google Sheets. Let's create

another route for this lesson. First, I will duplicate this module

because I will be using the same column for the filtering. Then connect it to the

Router by dragging close to it. I'll just click on the module just to

double-check everything is in order.

Add another module, select Chatfuel with JSON Response action.

I just want to display the data in text format so I will add new item and select

text. In the text message, I will display the product name and quantity.

Click the "Add" button

and then set up a Filter. The condition is {{task}} attributes equal

to "display".

Click OK and then save the scenario.

Let's go to Chatfuel,

duplicate this block and rename it to "display"

Let me change the word from "update" to "display",

then remove the two questions which is not needed.

Okay, everything looks all right.

Go to Google Sheets block,

add a new quick reply "Display".

We are done setting up and we can test the bot.

Select display

product ID will be 101,

Ta-da! It is fun right? I can also update the

Google Sheets from my desktop and retrieve the information in the chatbot.

So this function allows your chatbot to provide real-time update from Google Sheets.

The next lesson, you will learn how to delete a Google Sheets row from your chatbot.

Thank you for watching, I will see you in the next lesson.

How to find your DREAM JOB while EARNING MONEY! - Duration: 13:42.

"Quit the job you hate"

"Travel the world!"

"Follow your passion"

is what every 'motivational' Youtuber is trying to tell me these days.

Bullshit.

Then who will take care of my family? You?

When I started my career in 2009,

my only passion was to earn money

because most of us are not born with a silver spoon.

We first have to meet our financial responsibilities

whether we like the job or not.

But the advantage that we have is that

meeting our responsibilities makes us a professional

and that professionalism brings us closer to our dream job

like it did for me and a lot of other friends I know.

And today I am going to tell you exactly how.

So it doesn't matter if you are a student, a home-maker or a person stuck in a job that you don't like,

today by the end of this video

I'll give you a step-by-step procedure of how to find your dream job

while you earn money.

So in today's video we are going to discuss

How to find out who you are?

How to figure out what your dream job is?

Things that will help you achieve your dream job

but most importantly, towards the end in the Bonus Section

I'll give you examples of people like you and me

who had a 9 to 7 job and have still found the work that they love to do.

But before that, if you love the work that I am doing

or if you like me even a little bit

make sure you hit that 'Like' button

because that motivates me to make more videos.

Lets begin.

So figuring out who you are, professionally

or even personally

is a 3-step procedure.

Step 1: Get a job. Any job.

The reason why I am asking you this is because

a job teaches you a lot of things, like

team work, meeting deadlines, professionalism, drafting mails, presentation skills

but most importantly it teaches you something that's not taught in our colleges

and that is how to talk to the opposite gender

without shaking inside.

I started my career as a Software Engineer

and for the initial few years of my career

I loved my job.

I really did.

Because from a 'jhalli' college graduate,

it made me a confident, it made me a better person.

But unfortunately, most of the college graduates I meet these days tell me that

the 'idea' of desk jobs sounds boring to them.

See, if you want to know who you are then

the initial few years of your career should be dedicated to

Personality Development

and a job does that along with getting you a pay-cheque.

Step 2: List down your strengths and weaknesses.

What will happen after you get a job?

You will work.

And what happens to your work?

It gets reviewed by your colleagues, by your bosses

and that is the best way to figure out your strengths and your weaknesses.

For example, suppose you are good at following up and getting work done...

that's your strength.

And may be you are not so good at presenting your ideas...

that's your weakness.

So your strengths give you direction

and your weaknesses tell you what you need to work on.

So take your appraisals seriously, talk to your colleagues because they know more about

your style of work than you do,

look at the work you have done in the past and make a list

of your strengths and your weaknesses

because these realisations help you figure out who you are.

Step 3: Ask yourself the IKIGAI questions.

IKIGAI is a Japanese concept. It means

"A reason for being"

"A reason to wake-up every morning"

(Oooo.....fancy stuff)

But it's as real as it gets because

to find your IKIGAI you need to answer these 4 questions.

What are you good at?

What do you love to do?

What does the world need?

What can you get paid for?

At the intersection of these questions is your IKIGAI.

Now, these look super simple but

these questions are so difficult to answer.

You might be wondering..

"I like to travel, watch movies, spend time with my family, but...

who will pay me for it?"

That's what even I thought initially

but the more you do point #3 of our next section

the easier it gets to answer these questions.

But note down these 4 questions, ok?

Because in your journey of finding your dream job

these questions will help you think in the right direction.

Now, while you are discovering/creating your personality

you can also figure out what your dream job is.

Here's how.

Discovering your dream job is also a 3-step process

and the first step is to make a list of the jobs that you like.

CA, engineer, doctor, lawyer, teacher, civil services.

Most of us know only these jobs.

So here are the things that will help you make a list.

a. Google. Literally type out "different professions"

and make a list of the professions that appeal to you.

b. Ask a question on Quora.

Most probably somebody would've asked it already. All you have to do is

scroll through the answers.

c. Join different clubs. Now what does that mean?

When I was working, I was talking to only 15-20 team mates of mine

who had the same background as me.

So to meet more people I joined a club called 'Toastmasters' which is a

public-speaking club.

I remember a friend of mine had commented,

"Why are you wasting 36$ just to talk to people?"

but being a part of this club developed my public-speaking skills.

I won 5 rounds to represent India at the World Championship of Public Speaking at Florida, USA.

And I met people from different professions..

Software Engineers, Stand-up Comedians, Politicians, RJs, Fashion Designers, Entrepreneurs, Soft-skills Trainers.

So I was exposed to all of these careers that helped me decide what my dream job is.

This is where I also met my husband.

So if you want to find out what your dream job is, you need to go out and interact with...

humans.

Join different clubs like TM, Rotary, check meetup.com,

check the events section of your newspaper to find out what's happening that weekend.

Because the more contacts you make, the clearer your career path becomes.

And the fourth and the most important thing to do to make a list of the professions that you like is..

think skills instead of jobs.

For example, suppose you say, "I want to be a writer", then it's just one job

but if you think of "Writing" as a skill then you can be

a columnist, a novelist, technical writer, content strategist, film critic, travel writer, Youtube content creator..

so many exciting careers!

So make a list of the skills that you have

or the one's that you want to learn and then branch out different professions out of it.

Step 2: Learn those skills

Now that you have a list of professions and skills that you are interested in

go out there and learn them.

Attend workshops, get certifications, attend classes.

If you ask me, one of my favourite ways of learning a new skill

is through this website called Skillshare.

This website has helped me develop my creative, design, marketing and business skills.

I'll tell you more about it later.

But the point is, do whatever you can

to learn more.

The third and the final step to figure out your dream job is

to get into a relationship

with multiple jobs.

Don't get too excited.

Now suppose your list says...

I want to be a PR Manager,

I want to be a Photographer,

I want to be a Stand-up comedian.

Great!

But you don't have to marry right away.

Just pick one and get into a committed relationship for a couple of months

to see where it goes.

For example, one of the items on my list was..

I want to be an RJ.

I love how RJs get to be on radio and play cool songs.

I thought that is my dream job.

But I was not sure about it.

Luckily, thanks to the clubs I joined, I made friends with an RJ

and I requested her to let me observe her, shadow her.

She agreed and it was

traumatising.

She has to wake up early,

keep searching for news items,

create content everyday,

get that content approved from her bosses because you cannot make mistakes on the radio,

represent her channel at various events,

keep posting on social media,

keep doing 'LIVE' to interact with her audience.

She just can't turn off her cellphone.

It was a tough job and after a while I realized

it's not my cup of tea.

See, all the jobs are tough

but we need to figure out which process will we enjoy?

Now you might be thinking,

"OMG, who will go out and do so much mehnat?"

But see, you can sit at home, watch all the TED talks you want,

make all the excel sheets you can

but all of this will be useless

unless you go out there and try it.

So instead of quitting your job, look for mini learning opportunities,

volunteer work that you can do in your spare time

and if you don't like that job, cross it off your list

until you reach the job that you'd like to marry

atleast for a few years.

I think by now you would've figured out that

finding your dream job is a journey

and here are a few things that will help you in that journey.

1. Financial Knowledge

Yes. You need to know how to save your money, how to invest your money

so that when you finally decide to quit your job

you atleast have 4-5 months of your income as savings

so that you are comfortable incase your dream job

pays slightly less in the beginning.

But don't worry, I have got you covered.

I have made a plethora of videos about how to save your money,

how to grow your money.

I have left the link in the description, do check it out.

2. Exercise

Before you close this video, hear me out.

Our body is capable of doing 'x' amount of work

and if all that energy is going in your existing job

then how will you find your dream job?

By increasing the efficiency of your body

through exercise and eating right.

I am not asking you to build biceps

but by walking, running, cycling or playing any sport

for 30 minutes everyday will give you crazy energy

that you can invest in getting closer to your dream job.

And the third and the final thing that will help you in this journey is

Skillshare.

Like we discussed earlier, Skillshare is a website

where you can take more than 25,000 classes

related to the skills that you want to learn.

Like photography, writing, business, technology, lifestyle.

My personal favourite are the marketing classes

and the writing classes

because they help me develop better content.

You can even join different groups where

you can ask a question or initiate a discussion

with like-minded people.

I love this website because the first time I saw it,

I got the 3 idiots.."Knowledge jahan se miley lapetlo" kind feeling

which is why I jumped on the opportunity of a collab with them

and I have got something for you too.

The first 500 of my subscribers to click the link below

will get a free 2-Month Premium Membership trial.

And even if you don't get it, the annual subscription is less than 10$ per month.

So if you are as crazy as me about learning new things

and are desperate to find your dream career

then don't miss this opportunity.

Click the Skillshare link below and get it.

And finally, it's time for the Bonus Section.

But before I tell you that, make sure you Subscribe to my channel

and hit that 'Bell' icon

because I make career and finance videos for you only.

Stories of Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk

following their passion, don't connect with me.

But if my cousin is doing it then I'd be like..

"I can do it too!"

which is why I am going to end today's video by giving you

examples of people like you and me

who had a 9 to 7 job and are on this journey

of finding their dream job.

Vivek Muralidharan.

He is a Software Engineer by day

and a Stand-up Comedian by evening.

He says he loves exploring funny ideas

and his corporate job gives him the financial security

while he is in a relationship with stand-up.

Arvind Ramachander.

He was a Database Designer in US.

He took this photo during a fund-raising event

and that got him excited about photography.

He moved back to India and slowly transitioned

to becoming a full-time wedding photographer.

And trust me, his clicks are 'sooper'.

Jahangir Pasha.

He was a Team Leader at JP Morgan

but fitness always had his heart.

After proper financial planning, he decided to become a Fitness Trainer

and start his own studio.

Bonny Sikdar.

She is a Sr. Manager with a MBA in marketing in an I.T firm by day

and a Zumba trainer by evening because she loves to dance.

But recently she got her dream job at Cult, Hyd.

She says that along with her dance, her corporate background

played a major role in getting her the job.

And finally, we have Naveen Pandit.

He says that he was a small townie with bad english diction

but a Software job at Infosys gave him confidence

and he joined various theatre groups while at Infy

where he discovered his love for acting

until he finally decided to move to Mumbai

and pursue acting full-time.

If you are a TV buff, you might recognise him from various TV serials.

The reason I chose their examples instead of Mark Zuckerberg's is because

I know these folks

and I really admire their hustle.

For them, finding their dream job is a journey

and they are enjoying it every single day.

I truly believe that just like them

you can find your journey too.

On that note, I promise to see you again very soon

until then, if you miss me, you can follow me on Instagram

that is my ID

and don't forget to keep fighting

The Urban Fight to be Fit.

So the liars

tremble.

Throwback: FujiFilm 3.5" Floppy Calculator - Duration: 1:39.

Welcome I want to make a quick video on this little Fujifilm micro floppy calculator. I got when I was younger, so this is

at least 25 years old, maybe 30 years old and

They had a promotion if you bought enough of these Fujifilm three and a half inch floppies

Then these were like colored floppies you could send in

Something I don't know what it costs and get this calculator that looks like a floppy disk

So I got this and I put it in with my floppies

I never used it because I didn't want to get ruined that you pull this down here

And you have a solar calculator?

So you can

Add multiply things like that here and it had clear square root percent

CEC not sure what that is. I forget M plus M minus M RC

Plus minus and then regular calculator. It's a very basic calculator

Made in China has a little sticker on here. So it looks like a real three and a half inch floppy and

It's a 800 K floppy like the ones I bought it's not a HD floppy

high density floppies were expensive back when I got this so

Most things were 800 K

But that's the

Fujifilm micro floppy calculator. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments like this video

Please click like and thanks for watching until next time. Goodbye

Tyson Fury responds to offer to fight Anthony Joshua - Duration: 2:08.

The video will start in 8 Cancel Tyson Fury has rejected "a derisrory" offer to fight Anthony Joshua on April 13

Joshua is without an opponent for his next fight, scheduled to be at Wembley, and hopes to lure Fury into an all-British clash

But Fury's promoter Frank Warren dismissed the offer, reported to be a 60/40 split in Joshua's favour

"We've never had that offer, no offer has been sent to me," he told the Daily Telegraph

"Hearn sent Tyson an offer over the weekend but it certainly wasn't 60/40. It was quite a derisrory offer and we haven't even responded to it

"He would need 50/50, as simple as that." Fury is more likely to rematch Deontay Wilder after their controversial draw in December

Their second fight is likely to happen in May or June in Las Vegas, leaving Joshua to face Dillian Whyte at Wembley or Jarrell Miller in New York in the summer

Fury told BT Sport last week: "I've already beaten Wilder so that's one down, and I'll do the same to Joshua if given the chance

"But I don't think it's going to happen, sorry to disappoint the sports fans. "Joshua, even with two hammers in each hand, could never beat Tyson Fury – and they know it! They know that, they're not silly

"It's a business as well, so they're not going to take the fight, simple as. "They may say they're going to take the fight, they might talk about it, but then they'll fight somebody else like they keep doing

"But that fight ain't going to happen. I'm not holding my breath at all."

Random Student Drug Testing Walkthrough - Duration: 6:11.

- Hi, I'm Jordan from Everest Laboratories.

In this video, I'll walk you through

a random student drug testing program for your school.

These guidelines will be important

when you're considering setting one up,

but will not be set in stone.

Each school will be able to customize

their program for their school's needs.

In your random student drug testing program,

it's important that the student identity stay confidential.

Each student will be assigned a number

and that list of numbers will be provided

to the drug testing company.

They will then randomly select,

so there's no bias from the school

and provide that number to the school designee.

The school designee is gonna be

someone appointed by the school to help run

the drug testing program on the school side.

It can be a principal, assistant principal,

athletic director or someone that

the school sees fit to help run the program.

Additionally, prior to the start of the school year,

the testing date should be selected.

This will help provide that there's no bias in testing,

that they wanna test the students after an athletic event

or if they heard about a party.

It'll help show that there's no gotcha moment

from the school, but instead it's a truly random program.

Before a student can provide the urine sample

for their drug screen, the bathroom first needs

to be outfitted so it's tamper proof.

This is done by either shutting the water off

to the sink or taping the faucet handle or sensor

and putting a blue dye tablet in the toilet

so none of the water can be used to dilute the sample.

An important step in your random student drug testing

is determining how you're gonna test your students.

In front of us we have four different drug screens.

These three will test urine and this is an oral saliva test.

This is probably the most common,

what people are the most familiar with,

in a urine drug screen that is filled up

and the cup is sent to the lab for the initial screen.

The great part about this is

that people are familiar with it,

but the downfall is it has a longer turn

around time of a day or two days

because it has to be transported to the lab.

This is a one-step rapid urine screen.

The student will fill up the cup with their urine

and as soon as the urine's in the cup, the testing starts.

It can be read in about five to 10 minutes.

This is what we call the two-step rapid urine screen,

which is the same as the one-step

where they fill up the urine,

but the collector will have this key

to activate the start of the test

when they put it in the side of the cup.

Both of these can be used as testing

as the same level of accuracy and confidence

as a screen that is sent to the lab.

Additionally, we have the oral urine drug screen,

which some schools and employers are starting to go with.

It's less invasive on the donor

and you just take the stick

and collect the saliva and put it in.

This is also a rapid screen,

but the difference is the saliva's gonna have

a shorter detection period for the drug

than it will for the urine.

All of these tests are backed up

with positive confirmatory testing

to ensure there's no false positives,

along with a medical review officer review

of the confirmatory test.

On the date of testing when you need to summon

the student to the designated testing area in your school,

this can be done by calling the student down

or having the school designee physically go

and get the student and remove them

from class and walk down with them.

In addition, when the student is selected for testing,

it's good practice to notify the parents or guardians

of the student that they're gonna be tested.

This will keep the parents involved in the program

and give them confidence that you're not trying

to hide something from them.

Another step in the student drug testing program

is verifying that the student sample is truly theirs

and it hasn't been tampered with.

This is done wit the chain of custody form

that's filled out by the collector and the student.

The collector will fill out the top half

and this bottom part in the blue will be for the student.

They'll sign and date it and read a statement

that verifies the sample is theirs

and they haven't tampered with it.

This chain of custody form will

go along if you use the lab screen,

or if any of the rapid screens come back positive,

it will accompany the sample to the lab

so you can track it the entire way.

When the student gets to the designated testing area,

it's a good idea to let the student pick the cup

they'll be using for the testing.

Each of these cups will be sealed already so they know

that it hasn't been tampered with when they choose it.

When the student has selected their cup

and are ready to provide the sample,

the first thing they should do is empty their pockets.

They should not be bringing their phone,

wallet, keys or anything else into the bathroom with them.

After they have provided their specimen,

whether it's in the rapid cup

or the conventional urine cup,

what you're gonna do is either prepare

the sample for transport or get ready

to read the results of your test.

Next thing that will be read is the temperature gauge.

This is on all three of the urine cups

and it will be used to determine if the urine is real.

It it's too cold or too hot,

we'll know that the urine did not come from their body.

In addition, if you're using the conventional cup,

it will be poured off and packaged up

with the chain of custody form and sent out.

It'll either be sent through the mail

or a courier will be coming to pick it up

and take it to the lab.

If you're using the rapid screens,

the results will be read and if they're negative it is done.

If the screen comes back positive,

it'll again be packaged up with the chain of custody form,

and sent to the lab via mail or courier.

If your urine drug screen comes back positive,

this is not the end of testing.

Whether it being at the lab or a rapid drug screen on site,

the positive screen will only mean

that it reflexes into a confirmatory testing.

This will test the urine again

for the drug that was positive the first time in the urine.

If the confirmatory testing comes back positive,

a medical review officer will review the case

and contact the student.

They will ask them to provide any prescription drugs

that they may be on to show that

this is why the sample was positive.

After your urine drug screen results come back,

it is recommended that you provide the student

with a letter saying what their drug test results were.

This will give the student an official document

from the school saying that they passed

or failed the drug test.

It's completely possible that on the testing date

the student will be unable to provide a urine specimen.

If this happens, you have a few options.

First would be to provide the student with a bottle of water

and let them drink and see if they can provide

a specimen in the recommended amount of time.

If they can't, it's recommended that you test

them again on the next testing date.

Another option would be to use

the oral or saliva drug screen

because they can't provide the urine specimen.

This would allow you to still test

the student on the day of testing.

A great addition for your random

student drug testing program is to allow parents

to volunteer their kids to be drug tested.

This could be if a parent is suspicious

of their kid doing drugs and they want them to be tested,

or if they wanna volunteer them

to be in the program as a whole

because they really believe that it has great merit.

What this will do is keep the parents involved

with your drug testing program

and give them confidence that what

you're doing can really help their kids.

✅ Breaking News - Matt Polster goes to Ibrox and the Rangers will sign a contract with an American - Duration: 4:40.

Steven Gerrard has moved to tie up a deal for American utility man Matt Polster on the day the Rangers manager confirmed Joe Worrall will remain at the club for the remainder of the season

Polster, a 25-year-old international, spent a recent period on trial at Ibrox after stalling on signing a new contract with Chicago Fire

Known to Gerrard from when they crossed swords in the MLS, he impressed sufficiently to merit the offer of a long-term deal in Glasgow

Provided here are no glitches in the coming days, the man from Milwaukee will join Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis in bolstering the squad in this window

'We're in talks with his agent,' Gerrard said ahead of Friday night's Scottish Cup tie at Cowdenbeath

'We haven't got it over the line just yet, but we've told his advisers that we'd like him to come

'If we do it it would be a long-term deal. I know him well from the MLS. He's a player who I can play in numerous positions

'He's a good professional, he's in good shape and I think he's got the potential to be a first-team player here at Rangers if the financials work

He's one that could be an interesting one for the future.' Share this article Share 154 shares Although Worrall, the 22-year-old centre back, is on loan from Nottingham Forest until the summer, the Championship side retain the right to recall him this month

The return of Martin O'Neill to the City Ground this week prompted speculation that Worrall may now be required by his parent club but Gerrard has received confirmation that the player is his until June

'He's here for the rest of the season,' he stated. 'I am delighted to have him and really, really happy we've got him until the end of the season

It would have been a problem for us if Forest had called him back.'One player who could be going out, though, is Jordan Rossiter with Gerrard confirming that the midfielder may be loaned until the summer to get first-team football

Dundee United and Fleetwood Town are among the clubs who've expressed an interest in the former Liverpool midfielder with a decision on his future imminent

'There's a chance Jordan might go out,' Gerrard confirmed. 'That would depend on who comes in

We need to try and find Jordan the right place where he can get games of football

'He's desperate to start. He wants to be a regular in the team. I can't promise him that right now because of the form of the other midfielders and the options I've got

'I've have a chat with Jordan and told him my options are to be selfish and keep him here as a squad player, but I don't think that's what he needs at this stage in his career

'Despite being linked with a plethora of other names over the past week, Gerrard says it's unlikely that he'll be adding to his squad beyond Polster

'Loads of names have come up,' he said. 'I read Adam Lallana, the young kid from Northern Ireland (Liam Hassin), five or six that have been banded about but I've got nothing to say on any of them

'I don't want to say no as something might happen in the coming weeks that we do or act on, but at the moment it will be what it is now

'Gerrard also confirmed Lee Wallace is in his plans for Central Park together with his big name January signings Defoe and Davis

Meanwhile, Dundee boss Jim McIntyre has admitted that Rangers pre-contract signing Glen Kamara is desperate to leave Dens Park for Ibrox now rather than wait until the summer

It is understood the midfielder has been left out of the Dark Blues squad for their Scottish Cup tie with Queen of the South

So the liars

tremble.
